Do students ever get scared of you?

Oh ja esspecially the littler ones or the ones who have not had the kindest experiance with the church.

Mostly, I get asked about my teeth, feet and hands. Most students have no issues with my tail and fur or my ears.

It usually never takes long for them to get used to it. Each semester I have new children with all different needs and if one of them needs a bit more time to touch or be close to me that is okay.

Last semester this one boy was excited to see someone else with only three fingers and nother girl wanted to touch my teeth so I let her but then she flinched because she thought I was going to bite her.

The kids here are special to me. Very much so. If I could, I would spend the entire day snuggling them all.

Edit: Mrs. Munroe has advised me to reassure parents that I am never alone with the children and everyone is constantly being monitored. Not sure why she wanted me to say that though... oh well! Something about a liability I guess :)
