Hello everyone! This week we will be posting some fun posts while also sending out our first few messages to some guest artists!

We have reached 1 0 0 applications🎉🎉🎉!!!!!

We are enthusiastic about this! With this news Ghost and I have decided we will be adding 1 0 additional artist slots which means we will have about 60 artists! Which we are so excited to be able to include!!

We are halfway through November so if you haven’t gotten your application in, you have plenty of time!

We are also interested in seeing more writers and merch artists within the applications so if you are someone who wasn’t sure yet and are interested in writing or merch art we would be DELIGHTED to have you!

Sometimes I think I was put on this earth to create a modern equivalent/spiritual successor to Rookie mag. If only I knew how to make a website...

I seriously believe that now more than ever we need something like it again, a safe space for women and girls to share our interests, art, music, thoughts, advice etc without being judged. I see many online communities nowadays that try to be that but in ways that almost always backfire ("girl internet", "female rage", etc). The children yearn for Rookie magazine.

Thank you making this beautiful piece of Eileen. She remains to be one of my favorite video game characters of all time. I pick her “good route” every time. Aside from the rendering, my favorite part is how Yharnam buildings point to her in a hostile way. All of Yharnam feels against her not only for being a “hunter,” but to also be a “hunter of hunters” at that. A place devoid of current allies...until a certain hunter comes along (depending on the route). Your depiction of “Hunter’s Dream” is also astounding. The contrast of the very detailed Yharnam buildings and the gate vs. the “less detailed” flowers creates a visually pleasing tension-relief relationship. Not to mention, the gate in front of her depicts nicely how she closed herself off of the dream. Whether willingly or not, we’ll never know. Her strong pose shows her loyalty, willingness, and wisdom of her job. The partially stained Blades of Mercy showing her precision. I also like how the limited blood shows off her stern/limited targets of choice.

It’s a good day to be an Eileen fan! Your patience in all of these details and rendering is amazing. Thank you for sharing your art and your time to read my interpretations.

So excited to share the full illustration I did of Eileen for the Bloodborne zine “For Whom the Bell Chimes!” This was my first zine and I had a lot of fun :D

My piece I did for @turtlestogetherzine !

I truly cannot explain just how much this project means to me, and how PROUD I am of every single contributor!! Everyone did so amazing, seeing all the love and passion everyone had for the TMNT series was seriously so awe inspiring.

The amount of people who supported the zine, first with preorders then with Leftovers (sold out in ONE DAY! Crazy!) and those getting the digital zine still, you all are incredible and I genuinely hope you love this project!

This piece is so special, I went in thinking I'd do something Raph focused (my technically favorite turtle) or even something Rise focused (my fav version so far) but no, I went to the drawing board wanting to represent as many iterations I could with Leo!

My history with Leonardo is such a funny one, when I watched 2003 (my first iteration) growing up, I HAAAAATED Leo LMAO! I hated how boring he was and how much of a rule stickler he was, and I grew up with just this innate dislike of him for every following iteration, till I watched ROTTMNT. I went into Rise expecting to dislike Leo, but they did a complete flip on his character, and I loved it! It was so fresh and it was so fun seeing him be a goof.

So when I went back to watch 2012 for the first time, I found myself loving Leo and his traits there, and then when I went back to watch 2003, the appreciation for Leo grew TENFOLD and I just became smitten with this character!

Mutant Mayhem wasn't out yet at the time, so I wanted to create something that celebrated Leo, the series and the passing of the torch to the newer younger Leo! (WHOM I ADORE!!)

Sorry this was so long, but this project came out better then I could have DREAMED!! So thank you to all who helped bring it to life!

Battle Subway Brawl! (Feat. Cynthia & Wally!)

The subway bosses have invited the two Pokémon champions to have the full Battle Subway experience. In exchange they get to test the power of mega-evolutions!

My contribution to the @battle-facility-zine! This digital zine focuses on all battle facility leaders in the whole Pokémon series (including spinoffs!) and it’s totally FREE! Please check it out for more amazing Pokémon/submas content (both art & fics)!!

This is my first time being part of a zine project and I’m glad to say was a great experience! The whole thing was well organised, the arrangers were nice and easy to communicate with & kept us well informed, and the other contributors were happy to give feedback!

This comic is my continuation for Pokémon Masters EX event ”All Aboard The Victory Train”! Cynthia visits Unova regularly to see Caitlin and compete in Pokémon World Tournament but for some curious reason hasn’t been to the Battle Subway. The twins must feel anxious about it!

As a side note, during my character research @skyreptain pointed out to me that in Wally’s room in ORAS there is a globe with pins in both Sinnoh and Unova, but it isn’t addressed any further. What could this mean?

I wish I could’ve included many more ideas in here but cramming a battle between 8 characters within 4 pages was already quite the challenge so I had to cut off quite a bit (and I had to rush some parts unfortunately). I hope the result is still entertaining!
