Stratocaster Seaside by Suspended 4th, which I probably could have also put in the previous slot, but the frantic tempo and overall vibe of the song always fill me with a desire for speed. (There are two recorded versions of this song. I prefer the single version to the album version, but both are good.)

10:A song that makes you sad

The Guide to Success is a good song, and apart from being kind of a downer in general, I was listening to it quite a bit when a person I considered a pretty good friend became... not that. So now when I hear it, I think about that time. But it's alright.

14:A song that you would love played at your wedding

This is simply not going to happen, so instead I will give you more than double in the next one.

24:A song by a band you wish were still together

I have so many of these. Marah in the Mainsail became Coyote Kid, who in turn became not a band anymore.

And since those are both essentially the same band, I'll also include Art by Numbers, who made one album in 2012 and then never again. I think they may have some relation with Artificial Language, but I've yet to actually do any proper investigation into that.

Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce. The song itself is very sweet and not particularly sad at all, but as it was recontextualized by Jim Henson in The Muppet Show, it takes a particularly somber tone for me every time I hear it.

Hello again askdjfbnsk Its been a WHILE since you gave me the Coyote Kid/Marah in the Mainsail recommendations but I finally got around to really listen to The Bone Crown album (Thaumatrope is still on the back burner orz) But pretty much once again the songs you mentioned just knocked it out of the park for me and just mmmmm amazing vocals and instrumentals yet again with truly guttural moments that just hit so right. Some other highlights you didn't mention for me were Leviathan (the build up to the leviathan bit at the end just mmmm good stuff right there) and Ember (again amazing build up and the instrumentals just really get my own memories and emotions going). But oh my god listening to Black mamba i can absolutely see why its your fave ITS SO GOOD!!!!!!!! just a really good song from start to finish just woag. Mentioned it before but the vocals just have such a specific vibe to them so it really just scratches a specific itch in my brain, the lyric "And the smoke Grows black as coal Swallows up the stars I know" just !! So yet again thanks for giving me such amazing recommendations and these are def just going in my song rotation from now on xD (and can say i still listen to stuff from the skeleton man quite regularly) Will return eventually when i listen to the final album o7
