All-Purpose Necromancy Powder

Traditional necromantic powders are often used in rituals for spirit communication, ancestor work, or baneful magic. Below is a standard recipe for a necromancer’s powder, which can be adapted based on your tradition and intent.
Needed:
• Bone Dust or Crushed Eggshells
• Graveyard Dirt
• Myrrh Resin
• Dittany of Crete
• Wormwood
• Black Salt
• Dragon’s Blood Resin
Instructions:
Grind all ingredients into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle. Charge the mixture under the moonlight, preferably during the Waning Moon for necromantic work. Store in a dark glass jar or a fabric sachet.
Uses:
• Sprinkle on an altar for spirit summoning or divination.
• Dust onto candles or ritual tools.
• Sprinkle in your/someone’s path to draw spirits close.
• Add to incense blends when performing necromantic rituals.

I had an extremely special experience recently.
Not long ago, I met a pagan from our local area—which is decently rare with how rural and evangelical this region is—and ended up making plans with my husband to visit the commune she lives on further into the woods from us.
The commune itself was pretty amazing and unusual, and it's hard for me to do it justice without writing up a whole story about it, but suffice it to say that it's a very powerful and fascinating place. One especially striking aspect of this commune is the fact that there is a singular pioneer grave from 1901 hidden in the forest, not too far from them, which has been visited and propitiated by member of this commune for decades.
The man buried there was said to be an Irish immigrant who lived in a homestead nearby with his "close male companion of many years" before being buried alone there. Though, now, he is a beloved figure to this queer punk collective in the woods, and they sometimes bring him things like tobacco, beer, and coins as offerings.
It was such a joy and an honor to be shown this sacred place by the people who have watched over it for years, as well as being given leave to visit it. When I met him initially, I left a naturally round and smooth green jasper stone that I found by the sea upon his headstone. These pictures were taken on my second visit, wherein I brought him tobacco and rum, and received a clear omen shortly thereafter that it was alright for me to photograph.
What a truly wonderful place.

"Dedicate your death to me," the necromancer whispers. "Be mine to move and use, now and forever."
She pauses to listen for an answer. Corpses don't speak, of course, but she hears their words in the slow flux of fungal rot and the chewing maggots, and so her army grows.
---
Thick, slimy marrow drips down from spongy calcium. The corpse is long past needing it, and the dirt is always hungry, and so it must be purged of life's unnecessary remains.
It's the necromancer's least favorite part. There's something sickening about the way the bone splits around her chisel.
---
Death is wet and squishy, full of squirming parasites and bubbling gas, vibrant oozing pustules blossoming from unnoticed wounds. It is life's uneasy twin, more alike than not.
Undeath, the necromancer's beloved curse, glistens as sweetly as any peach—but the pit at its heart is cold and dry.
---
Corpses do not eat, but the necromancer tells them that what she does feeds their undeath. She fortifies their bones with molten lead, drips gold into their cracks and wraps them in carefully preserved leather. It fits as well as their skin ever did, even in the parts that she could not preserve.
Perhaps they appreciate that she tries to keep their parts together. Probably they do not. Death clarifies and occludes: so many things will never matter again.
There are other things that she does, that she calls feeding. Her corpses cannot care about them, just as they cannot feel how rough their leather wrappings are against her calloused hands and too-soft belly, nor the way her flesh parts around the hard angles that are all that remains of their rot-purged bodies.
The dead cannot do many things: they cannot feel breasts pressing against bare ribs, nor can they taste the hunger of parting thighs, nor can they hear the things the necromancer whispers and screams in those secret moments—but above all else they cannot give her what she craves, which undeath has forever robbed her of.
And they cannot know their own deficiency.
Perhaps we should envy them for that.

Hosting A Dumb Supper

A Dumb Supper is a ritual meal where participants honor and communicate with the spirits of their ancestors or loved ones who have passed away. The term "dumb" refers to the fact that participants remain silent throughout the meal, creating an atmosphere of reverence and allowing space for spiritual communication. It is a form of ancestor veneration, commonly practiced during Samhain (Halloween) or Dia de los Muertos, but can be done at any time to honor those who have passed.
Purpose of the Dumb Supper:
• Honoring the Dead: To pay respects to ancestors or loved ones who have passed, inviting them to share in the meal.
• Spiritual Communication: To invite the spirits to interact with the living, either through subtle signs, dreams, or direct messages.
• Reflection: The silence of the meal helps participants reflect on the lives and memories of those who have crossed over, creating space for spiritual connection.
Needed:
• A quiet, undisturbed room or altar space.
• A table large enough to accommodate all participants, with an empty seat for the spirits.
• Candles (ideally, white, black, or purple for spiritual energy) to light the space. A candle for each participant and one in honor of the spirits is common.

• Pictures, mementos, or personal items of the deceased loved ones or ancestors you wish to honor. These could be photos, heirlooms, or items representing them.
• A meal prepared in honor of the deceased. This can be traditional foods the departed loved ones enjoyed or symbolic foods (e.g., fruit, bread, or other offerings that hold personal significance).
• A place setting for the deceased, usually at the head of the table or in a prominent position.
• Offerings of wine, water, or another beverage that was enjoyed by the spirits in life. Some traditions include a small dish of food for the spirits to let them partake without consuming it physically.
• Typically, the Dumb Supper is done in complete silence to maintain reverence. However, some people choose to play soft music (such as chanting, drums, or nature sounds) to invoke a quiet atmosphere.
• Depending on the tradition or intent, participants can wear something symbolic (e.g., a piece of jewelry that belonged to a passed loved one, or a small talisman representing the ancestors).

Setting Up the Dumb Supper:
• Prepare the Altar or Table - Arrange the table for the living participants, ensuring there is a place for each person, but also leave an empty seat for the spirits. Place photos, objects, or offerings for the ancestors in front of the empty seat to help honor and invite them into the space. If you are inviting specific ancestors or loved ones, you can write their names on small pieces of paper or inscribe them into a ritual bowl to be placed on the table as a focus of connection.
• Set the Meal - Serve the food on the table, ensuring there is enough for both the living and the spirits. In some traditions, you leave a portion of food untouched or a portion specifically for the spirits (symbolizing that the spirits partake in the meal).
• Lighting the Candles - Light the candles one by one, saying quiet prayers or invocations as you light them. If you are honoring multiple ancestors, you may say their names aloud as you light the candle for them. Keep the atmosphere serene and solemn.
The Silent Meal:
• Starting the Supper - Begin the meal in complete silence. No conversation is allowed during the Dumb Supper. This silence serves as a medium to create a sacred space and allows the spirits to join and communicate without distractions. Focus on your food, your thoughts, and any signs or feelings that may arise. Spirit communication may come in subtle ways, such as feelings, sudden memories, or dreams, but remain open to the experience.
• Introspection - As you eat, reflect on the lives of your ancestors or loved ones, recalling their positive attributes, lessons, or even the ways they may have impacted your life. Some people use this time to meditate or silently communicate with their loved ones. Pay attention to any thoughts, images, or messages that arise.

• Closing the Supper - After everyone has finished eating, you may choose to thank the spirits for joining and ask for their guidance, protection, or wisdom. The meal may be concluded with a prayer, a quiet word of thanks, or by blowing out the candles. If there is leftover food, it is customary to leave it out overnight as an offering to the spirits. Alternatively, you can bury or dispose of the leftovers in a respectful manner (i.e., burying them in the earth).
Optional Additions to the Dumb Supper:
• Spirit Communication - If you wish to deepen the connection, you can incorporate other methods of spirit communication such as divination tools (pendulum, tarot cards, or a spirit board) after the meal. This may be done in the quiet of the room or after the supper ends, using the energy raised during the ritual.
• After the Supper - Participants may leave the meal space quietly, maintaining the solemnity of the ritual. Some people walk away from the meal without speaking, ensuring that the energy of the supper remains intact.
A Dumb Supper is an intimate, powerful ritual meant to deepen your relationship with those who have passed and honor their spirits. It is a time for personal reflection, communication, and gratitude, where silence speaks louder than words. This practice can be an incredibly moving and spiritually enriching experience, helping to foster connections with the past while providing guidance for the future.

Having generational planets in the 4th house could mean your house is haunted/you might’ve lived in a haunted house at least once in your life☠️OR you’re attracted to haunted homes
Generational planets are: Pluto, Uranus, Neptune.
PLUTO
Pluto- the literal under world. Silent hill vibes. The spirits that come to your home may be doing so after having days months years or even decades of treading the earth likely not even realizing they’re actually dead. They go to your home to meet hades to pass into the underworld after much time of unrest. You won’t literally see it (or maybe you could idk) but that’s what’s going on in the unseen side. Spirits come to REST at your house..probably not peacefully but more so necessarily. It can take on Uranus like characteristics where…in the most extreme cases the spirits in your house might mark on your walls /note on paper with threatening messages because their spirit is not at peace and they feel the need to torment you as a result. This is very general of course and for a specific set of people BUT generally speaking spirits will and DO pass through your house. The traumatized kind, the dark figure looking kinds. The perhaps maybe even evil kinds. … a very traumatic event likely happened on the property you grew up in before you came and lived in it and the energy just stayed there. Or you’re prone to harboring your home spaces in places like that without you even knowing. You might live near a cemetery with this Pluto house placement too . Pluto is the higher octave of mars so those violent threatening spirits are possible but are not limited to. Traumatized spirits might find solace in your presence.
NEPTUNE
Neptune- very hazy dreamy and spirits galore. Your home might literally calm spirits. In the flesh and out. So in real life humans can also even feel like they can wind right down to the core of their soul when they enter your house. It has a pixie spiritual vibe to it. I won’t say more “lighter” entities come to your house ;Neptune is more classical spirit related energy so anything is possible but normal regular spirits are more common than the more darker crazy kinds like Pluto—- but those Plutonian coated spirits will only come about if YOU actually make the effort to bring them in like say a ritual or something. But you’re more likely to have normal spirits/spirts of any kinds. And spirits like angels etc honestly anything. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus very endearing spirits may find themselves in your home.
URANUS
Uranus- the literal extraterrestrial. Home is likely very unique the spirits you attract in your house are also unique probably more chaotic/ won’t be afraid to throw a plate across the house/ play on a piano and open your water faucet or open your doors in more extreme cases. There’s an almost unRested air to your house ,spirits in limbo might find themselves in your house while they try and figure out where the hell theyre at and why. Crazy things. I just heard psyche ward 😭😭maybe? The type of spirits that come to your house were psyche ward patients. Or Your 1st couple of years of life(inside your home) was very chaotic and unstable. Maybe had a lot of people passing in and out weather to crash out or like your parents offered them a place to live because they had no where else to go. You may even be that type of friend lmao. Might attract unstable people in your home/what you call a home is unstable. The fae is also possible here I feel like this Uranus house placement is more likely to experience spirits possessing their items and moving said item. Regardless the spirits are probably kind of crazy & maybe even very smart . Uranus is the higher octave of mercury so Einstein type spirits could find themselves in your home or as I said, the fae and may want to experiment how being a spirit is like with the items in your home🤣, like for example that water foucet example I gave earlier lol. You may also have spirits around you who want to teach you about how it is on the other side and help you understand the metaphysics.
