A midnight thought

Do NOT judge people by the things they enjoy or write or draw.

I've been having utterly disgusting days, and there were graphic rape writers who reached out to comfort me and offer support.

I've had downright evil fits of mad laughter with the most dignified people.

Terrible angst writers saved me from drowning with hilarious jokes.

Sweet gen writers have made me smile with utter depravity.

You never know what's going on behind closed doors (or DMs)!

Judge people by how they treat their friends, how they interact with their community, and how they make you feel when you feel nothing at all...

I cherish my friends, and I am so utterly grateful for all of you! I've had a miserable day, but I am okay now...

Because the people you might find inappropriate or boring, at the end of the day, are the best people to have by your side in an emergency.

thank you, people who donated me coins Q.Q helped me to pay one of the monthly bills and set aside some money for personal present..

This year I'm getting a picture from one of my fav artists ( and long time friend). With Charlie and Glinda ofcourse 🦇🦇🦇

And hopefully will be able to collect for new chair while there are sales everywhere..

But the main present for donations is time for drawing personal art!! Which Im grateful the most. Hopefully I'll manage to finish at least one cozy picture with Charlie and family before New Year ;w;

Fun Story to Share.

I got my (now 18-year-old) daughter into Ao3 back in 2021. I taught her she should always comment - even if the fic looks old or abandoned or whatever. She did.

Well - she got this email this morning:

The fic was written in 2014 and essentially abandoned.

Bethy read and reviewed in 2021 (and was actually the only person who had commented at all).

Today in 2025 - the final chapter was posted by the author and this was her reply to Bethy’s comment.

This week, I read a fic that was around 20 years old, which had originally been posted on the author's personal website and which she added to AO3 a few years ago. She listed her email address with the fic, so after I finished reading, I sent her an email saying how much I enjoyed the story, how much I appreciated the work and effort she obviously put into it, and thanked her for uploading it to AO3. She responded the next day and thanked me for my message, then said she had a few more stories in the same series that she hadn't gotten around to uploading. I checked this morning--she added a 35,000 word novella and thanked me in the summary.
