The 13 Crystal Skulls Explained by Bashar

these skulls go back, many of them, to 13, 17, 25 and even 30 000 of your years ago. And were present in what you call the culture of your Atlantis. Thus then, many of them later on were exported, were taken, were transported to other locations on your planet. Some of them very specifically to what you call your north and central and south American continents, which were very close in proximity to the western portion of the Atlantean Empire. Thus then, when the Atlantean Empire began to dissolve, began to break apart, many of them along with other things, were transported to safer locations.

Now, when these skulls were created, how were they carved? The originals were carved in a variety of ways, but primarily a technique was used of vibration. When the 13 masters got together, they had practiced the ability of creating certain sounds, sometimes with their own bodies, sometimes with certain instruments, that when these sounds were created, certain other crystalline devices would vibrate very rapidly, very rapidly, in the presence of these sounds. And By vibrating very rapidly, they could actually be used as a type of cutting tool on the master crystals and shape the master crystals.

The skulls are 13 (from 0 to 12) they were created by "The Council of thirteen" each one is named after a mayan deity, they hold knowledge on many different subjects such as manifestation, astral travel, portal magic, communication with e.ts, spirits and more, this skulls are recreations of the skulls of actual individuals one of them of a highly revered Atlantean priest.

“Prepare to be haunted today, lass.”

Or so Johnny told you during breakfast at the Shangri-La��s signature restaurant with wiggling fingers and a ghoulish reverb to his voice, just before his crystal blue eyes shifted to the side to cast a wink to the lumbering presence standing behind you.

The look on his face had Johnny snickering albeit stepping away slowly with hands raised up.

Simon was on guard duty today. He was to escort you to BBC Radio 1’s studios for an interview and a special performance at their Live Lounge–the first of many stops for your pre-world tour promotional campaign.

Being out in the general public more often was certainly a change of pace, though old habits–especially at his growing age–were hard to outright eliminate. When he wasn’t skulking around in a skull balaclava while spending time alone or out with the guys, he opted to wear a black face mask whenever he was hovering by your side.

Though, as of now, he was standing in the main production room of the BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge studio, his arms folded over his chest as observed the going-ons within the main performance space on the screen: he watched you continued on with mic check, the studio band fine-tuning their instruments, production staff all around. 

As Pearl left to take a step outside for a call and a smoke, he wasn’t sure what to fully make of this newfound role. He saw his current duties as merely a job, a task. While Johnny was clearly more of a fanboy, Kyle made more efforts to be personable, and that twinkling gleam in Price’s eye spoke of a plot he’d rather not poke his head into, he was there to just make sure you didn’t come to harm.

Again.

For all the campaigns he had undergone, Glastonbury stood out the most–for good reason, as it definitely wasn’t every day he had to brave the tempests of terror at a music festival. The last time he stepped foot onto the beloved festival was when he, Tommy, and a few mates from secondary school landed on the beer bottle-strewn glass after hopping a fence to catch the Chemical Brothers spin some deep cuts in the depths of night.

But now, he was rushing through the festival grounds, evacuation a chaotic frenzy all around with local police and even some of the assigned military personnel he arrived with helping with getting all civilians–whether attendee, staff, vendor, or artist–to clear the space and get to safety.

The whole day was a hazy memory by this point, but he could and would never forget one moment in particular:

Kicking at the door of a dressing room trailer, his arms full with a sniffling mess of running make-up and silk, the breathless sobs of “Is everyone okay?” by his ear, a soft lock of delicate limbs wrapped around his neck.

A special package that needed to be delivered to safety.

The blur of forests, bright tents, and grand stages followed as he rushed over to a nearby safety point.

The quicker he went, the faster he could return to his mission.

Upon arrival, his goodbye was quick.

“Stay safe now, you ‘ear?”

But before he could depart, a hand reached for his sleeve.

His head snapped back with his brow raised.

Fragile, shaky, your tearful eyes gazed directly into his as you breathlessly uttered out,

“Thank you.”

Who knew that would be the foundations to a future mission briefing?

Simon closed his eyes.

Job.

This was a job now.

He opened his eyes.

Before him, once the object of his mission, now the star of his day-to-day routine: you stood by the mic, your expression curiously peering around the space. Tech check just wrapped so now you were waiting for the production crew to start filming.

While you carried an air of calm and composure, the way you kept fiddling with the mic and how you kept shifting here and there from side to side showcased the anxiety that was simmering underneath your smile.

It was understandable.

Today’s recording was to be one of your first performances since the Glastonbury incident, as you took a hiatus to emotionally recover from the ordeal. He heard from Kyle that you’ve apparently been buzzing with energy, which only made him rather curious how this acoustic performance would play out since he expected for you to be still.

And with the call of “Rolling!” from the production lead and the subsequent lulling strum of acoustic guitars and soft synths from a keyboard, the answer would soon be presented to him.

The first few notes had him recall the song that Johnny played off of his phone just moments before your first true introduction together. Whereas that song was the absolute epitome of bubblegum pop with sticky beats, the new arrangement was much calmer, stripped down to feel more like a hot cup of tea on a chilly autumn day.

It aligned more with his taste in music.

Regardless though, there was something captivating in the way you performed, and this moment was no exception.

Despite being stationed right by the mic stand, you were still grooving around, whatever anxiousness he previously noticed now gone–or at the very least, buried six feet below, hidden perfectly with a sweet smile on your lips. Without such immense layers of production, being able to actually hear your voice as pristine and clean as possible was a delight.

He looked forward to further opportunities to hear you sing.

Your performance concluded moments later, marked by you giggling out “Thanks for having me, Radio 1!” with a wink to the camera.

And as filming wrapped, the bubbly look on your face soon softened, your demeanor back to being shy and bashful.

Pearl still looked to be busy with whatever call she mumbled about having to take–it really did feel like she was there on behalf of the label’s needs rather than yours.

Hence why he was the one to escort you back to your dressing room so you could be prepped for your imminent interview segment.

As your cheeks were dusted with blush, his eyes were trained on you, replaying that switch in your expression over and over.

His fingers found their way up to his face mask.

Dollface and you.

Ghost and Simon.

He snorted to himself. 

To think he could actually draw parallels with a goddamn pop star.

The very same pop star who soon called out to him once hair and make-up left, leaving just the both of you alone together.

“Simon?”

His attention turned towards you, finding your gaze focused solely on him.

“Yes?”

You stared at him a moment longer, right into his eyes.

A smile soon broke out on your lips as one hand fell to your mouth, your eyes becoming wide, shining like glass.

As you approached where he stood, you looked as though you were about to cry, matched by the breathless whisper in your voice as you gasped, “I thought I was going crazy after we first met, but as I look at you–I know it was you.”

He tilted his head to the side, his brow raised. “Care to clarify?”

A hand over your heart, you continued on with sheer elation. “I knew I recognized those eyes! And with your voice too–I think it’s the mask…!”

Before you could elaborate further, a knock on the door from a production assistant signaled that you were to head to the recording room.

He prepared to escort you out, were it not for you quickly turning on your heel around to stand on your tiptoes–elevated further thanks to the platform heels of your shoes; necessary given the height disparity between you both–your lips found their way to his ear as you whispered,

“Thank you again for Glastonbury.”

Rare was the occurrence for Ghost to be taken unawares, and yet Simon couldn’t help but allow his eyes to widen ever so slightly at your remark–a sight made even more apparent thanks to his face mask.

As he felt as though decades of carefully maintained anonymity was getting steamrolled by the push of a level by a meticulously manicured and moisturized hand, reason thankfully put a stop to a conspiratorial spiral–you did once mention that Ambassador Miller briefed you on some basic info regarding your newly appointed bodyguards. And knowing Price, he likely painted a fancy tale too to regale your fancy and perhaps have you sit on his lap while he was at it.

His demeanor set at ease and mirth filling his eyes, Simon nodded towards you while resting a hand on your shoulder for a reassuring squeeze.

“Just glad you’re safe, Doll.”

He watched your face light up once more, that bubbly cheer returning, one born from pure joy rather than practiced professionalism.

With this, he reached for the door to the dressing room, opening it before featuring for you to step ahead.

Simon followed in tow, trailing behind akin to a shadow, his eyes trained on your back: the bounce of your hair, the swish of your dress, the grace of your step.

The thanks he received back then, to the thanks he received just now.

No longer a mission, not just a job.

You would be his life’s work.

Silly Minecraft headcanons because I saw the other ask about it and wanted to submit some on my own :)

Skateboard does a lot of speedrunning because he’s too impatient for the more time consuming aspects of the game like maxing out gear, building houses, etc.

Rocket invests a lot of time and resources into maintaining a steady supply of end crystals and obsidian so that he can kill people via end crystal PvP, but the problem is that he’s lowkey ass at it so most of the time he just dies to his own explosions 💀

Boombox has every single music disc on display in his base except for 11, 13, and 5, which are stored in a secret room in his base which is made of stone bricks and iron bars, and has redstone fake blood and skeleton skulls all over, the whole nine yards basically

Slingshot occasionally posts clips of his silly server shenanigans to the in-universe equivalent of Youtube to make some ad revenue off of it (bro’s on that hustle) and because of this everyone has their own silly way of censoring the word “die”, for example Rocket says “put on a T-shirt”, Shuriken uses “send back to the lobby”, Vinestaff uses “transport to the afterlife”, etc.

Shuriken likes to steal from everyone, and while it’s usually small stuff like food, if he gets into a silly enough mood he starts performing more egregious acts of theft like theft of diamonds or other precious materials, one time he even stole the mending villager from the trading hall (he always gives it back tho :3)

Sword can’t resist trying to tame every single tameable mob he comes across for some reason, which has resulted in him having 7 dogs, each with their own names (he is going to obtain a bunch of cats next)

The Shutdown:

[At the moment that Z-13 released the other subjects causing great chaos and commotion in the Hadal Division facilities, the leaders had to take action on the matter by ordering the extermination of all the creatures. Any creature, whether harmless or aggressive, had to be eliminated in order to keep the situation under control, something that was not achieved by Z-779's intervention with the security system of the facility. Several turrets were activated, firing at personnel and security. Critical numbers of both insecurity and losses were increasing with every second forcing all personnel to leave the site.]

[During the evacuation of personnel, Z-13 attacked a group of armed security personnel, being injured in one of his limbs but managing to kill most of the people he could. Still, it didn't save him from a hate-filled look from the security leader ▬▬▬ who fired a bullet in the direction of Z-13's skull. The bullet pierced a thick black mass which became known as B-327.8 who suddenly protected Z-13's life. B-327.8 did not attack the man but used his body to prevent the bullets from reaching Z-13 who managed to sneak away with an access card from one of the corpses on the ground.]

[In the present, one of those sent to the dangerous corridors of the Hadal Division asked Sebastian Solace directly how he got the shotgun.]

Spooky Action At A Distance unveils cover art for their much awaited debut album

The Ambassadors meets The Breakfast Club

Perhaps even more difficult than snagging a ticket to one of SAAAD’s sold-out club shows is trying to describe the experience to your less-lucky friends afterwards.

Their sound defies basic mortal conventions such as genre, instead better described by critic buzzwords, namely, transcendent and explosive.

Four band mates of wildly different backgrounds and styles meet to produce something that’s both the ultimate sum of their ancestral influences and entirely, uniquely theirs. Their music unabashedly melds high and low art- what begins as a pop punk song flows seamlessly into an operatic verse, while another number features elements of a baroque dance suite in what can best be defined as a modern club anthem. Their lyrics are equally packed with esoteric references and universal emotions.

It shouldn’t work- but it does. And it’s delicious. In order to tide you over until the album release, we’ve got the first look at its cover art, and as a gift to fans, it’s visually indicative of the band’s layered sound.

Many of you may be familiar with The Ambassadors from school trips to the National Gallery. The painting’s a popular subject of debate for art historians due to its detailed subjects and metaphysical symbolism. It’s reproduced faithfully here, albeit with a few cheeky adjustments.

SAAAD frontwoman Crystal Palace (yes, that Crystal Palace!) takes the place of the leftmost figure, complete with lavish outfit and undeniable rockstar swagger.

Across from her, drummer Charles Rowland stands in a dark coat, sticks clutched in a gloved hand.

Bassist Niko Sasaki lays across the top shelf à la Molly Ringwald, dandelion-crowned head at Palace’s shoulder.

Center frame- the band’s ‘brain’: virtuoso Edwin Payne sits with a lute across his lap and the painting’s infamous distorted skull slashing across his legs. (Memento mori seems to be a prevalent theme in many of SAAAD’s songs, though they often turn it into a lively celebration)

Eagle eyed fans will notice a couple additions to Holbein’s instruments- a bear figurine, a lantern, and a cherry blossom branch among them. Are they references to the band’s lyrics? Hints at future projects?

One thing’s for sure, we cannot wait to see more of this group. *

SANTA MUERTE

WHO IS SHE?

Santa Muerte, "Holy Death" or "Saint Death" in Spanish, is a goddess of death and the Underworld. She is a figure of protection and guidance, helping people navigate through the trials and obstacles of life. She is often venerated as a saint, or even considered to be a Goddess, especially in Latin American and Hispanic cultures. Santa Muerte is a spiritual figure, and she has no direct connection to Christianity or any other mainstream religious tradition.

BASIC INFO:

Appearance: She is usually portrayed as a female skeletal figure in black robe or a woman in black cloak. In some depictions, she is also shown carrying a scythe. She is sometimes depicted as having long black hair and a skull-like face. She is also often shown with skeletons and skulls as decorations and symbolism.

Finally took on Blitz!

I took some notes from the Helluva Boss critical community and tried to tweak his lore to make him a bit better (this includes a huge overhaul on the shxtshow that is Stolitz. Stolas defenders, pack it up.). So here we go, here’s my take on Blitz Bucko!

In the late 90’s, a family of imps scraped together enough money to open their own circus for the underworld-born to enjoy. Was it small? Quite so. Was the family passionate about it? Absolutely. But the ones who were the most passionate about the Bucko Circus was Blitzo Bucko and his mother Jewel Bucko. Blitzo and his brother Fizzarolli weee the circus’ most popular clowns, with their sister Barbie Wire being the best trapeze artist. The circus was doing great…

Until the fateful day they put on a performance for the glorified meteorologist Stolas Goetia.

The young owl, who had just turned 13, fell in lust with Blitzo. He decided to purchase Blitzo for a last-minute “play date”, which discomforted the young imp. But AWWW! The poor little owl caught feelings…

The two didn’t talk again after that.

The next morning, Blitz’s birthday came around. While Fizzarolli put on a special performance for Blitz, the circus staff focused solely on Fizz. Blitzo was knocked back, accidentally stumbling into a few torches for an upcoming show. It set fire to the tent, and ended up burning most of the family. While Blitz tried to save Barbie and Fizz, he heard his mother cry out for help. Wanting to save his mother, Blitz gave an apology to his siblings before running to Jewel.

It was too late. She was only able to use the last minute of her life to hand Blitzo her prized skull amulet, and give him a warm departure with a smile.

It was all Blitz’s fault.

For the last few days of his teen hood, Blitz conceptualized a unique business idea; what if he was hired to assassinate someone who wronged a damned soul? It was groundbreaking, it was an amazing concept… but to achieve it now with how poor he was? It would be difficult. He garnered the help of his college friend Moxxie, and soon the duo set out to start up the basics of their business; renting an office space, setting up prices, getting weapons, hiring another assassin and a receptionist… it all went well until they realized.

How are they going to get to the living world?!

Blitz sought the help of a succubus named Verosika. The two got along well and she allowed them to use her Asmodean Crystal to gain access to the living world. They were going well until Verosika fell in love with Blitz. Blitz was hesitant to pursue this relationship, and harshly turned her down. They broke up, and she released a hit diss track dedicated to the horrible, non-reciprocal imp. Moxxie and his girlfriend Millie suggested they go visit the Goetia and ask to borrow the grimmoire, a magic book that can access the living world. Should be easy, right?

If Blitz could count being forced to give in to Stolas’s clingy, twisted delusion that they were childhood friends and then strike a disgusting affair/deal to let Blitz keep the book for business, then sure. It’s easy.

And finally, the Immediate Murder Professionals were ready to get out into the living world and take care of client’s targets. Happy ending!

But wait. Blitz NEEDS to fall in love with Stolas! It needs to happen! It’s all in the textbook plan for Stolas’s perfect romance story! If Blitz stood up for himself, he’s an ASSHOLE. A grimy, disgusting imp who has to let poor Stolas love him!

Let’s try this again.

And that’s my take on Blitz! In my au/rewrite of HB, he’s trying to wake up from a Wandavision-like phenomena where Stolas is in control (and the reality he creates is basically what the canon HB show is). Not wanting any of that and wishing to get his justice, Blitz seeks the help of a human demonologist who is also able to see through Stolas’s thick veil of lies. This former circus performer, adoptive father, and businessman wants to save his employees and daughter before they are lost to the owl’s lies.

And here are some headcanons + tweaks to his character!

- Blitz is a pretty closed-off introvert who wants to make it to another day. He is absolutely determined to free the people he cares about from the twisted world that the Goetia owl prince has built. Also he’s not creepy or a huge dxckwad.

- Despite what Stolas tries to paint him as, Blitz isn’t a huge jerk. He’s really not very confrontational and would rather have someone resolve their issues first before taking it out on him.

- He and Verosika are on good speaking terms after she is freed from the control. She gives him some assistance at times to help him carry on in the twisted reality he’s in.

- The target-like symbol on his forehead is meant to represent how Stolas has turned Blitz into a target, a creature to be preyed upon just because he said one wrong word to someone.

- He’s genuinely trying to reconnect with his siblings and puts his energy into his found family. Although Barbie needs more time, Blitz and Fizz are on okay terms, with the latter even helping him in his mission.

- He isn’t as vulgar as his canon self, although he can let his emotions get the better of him, leading to some raw outbursts. He is quick to apologize and take accountability for them afterwards.

- Follow up to that, if he did meet his canon self, he’d probably need ibuprofen afterwards.

Ninjago season titles in Korea

I no longer watch Ninjago, but sometimes I would have reminiscence and today I decide to introduce the season titles in Korea. Enjoy

Season 1 - Green Ninjago(그린 닌자고)

Obviously the 'Green' is for the green ninja, which is the key point of this season

Season 2 - Gold Ninjago(골드 닌자고)

Just like Green Ninjago, 'Gold' is for the golden ninja. Why isn't it 'Golden' is something I don't know either

Season 3 - Ninjago Rebooted(닌자고 리부티드)

That rare case which the season title hasn't been changed in Korea

Season 4 - Titanium Ninjago(티타늄 닌자고)

'Titanium' is for Zane, the titanium ninja. Somehow the title isn't something related to the Tourmament of Elements. I guess it's suppose it's because Zane is why this season happened

Season 5 - Ghost Ninjago(고스트 닌자고)

The enemies are ghosts, so there you go, Ghost Ninjago

Season 6 - Ninjago vs Sky Pirates(닌자고 대 스카이해적)

Just like Ghost Ninjago, the enemies are sky pirates. And since they are the enemy, put vs in it. So there you go, Ninjago vs Sky Pirates

Special - Ninjago: Day of the Ghost(닌자고 유령의 날)

Day of the Ghost is Day of the Departed. We have a word for departed, but I guess it's a difficult word for children. So they put ghost instead, I guess

By the way, in Korea there was an event where you can go to the premiere at a movie theater. Of course the special was aired on TV later, but still it was cool back then

Season 7 - Ninjago Timeblade(닌자고 타임블레이드)

Instead of using the Hands of Time as the title, they put the weapons, time blades in the title

Season 8 - Ninjago: Masters(닌자고 마스터즈)

To be honest, I have no idea why it's called Ninjago Masters. Yes, Lloyd is now a master, but is there a need for the title to be plural? Also no relation to the villains either. The title that confuses me the most

Season 9 - Ninjago: Dragon Hunter(닌자고 드래곤 헌터)

Just like season 5 and 6. The enemies are dragon hunters, so Ninjago: Dragon Hunter

Season 10 - Ninjago: Goblin Invasion!(닌자고 도깨비 습격)

I think I'll have to make a long explanation for this

Goblin(도깨비), is what Oni is called in thr Korean version. In Korea, we tend to change Japanese words to something else. For example Sensei Wu was called 'Master Wu' since the pilot in Korea

Usually anything that is Oni is translated are 도깨비(Dokkaebi). Back then the when people think about Dokkaebi, they imagine it just like Oni. So might be fair to translate it like that, to a word the Korean audience is used to

However Dokkaebi and Oni are not the same. Dokkaebi is more like a supernatural spirit who isn't scary but rather playful. They were thought as similar since the colonization of Japan, but recently being seperated again

Anyway it's called Goblin Invasion. Also exclamation mark

Season 11 - Ninjago: Ninja of Fire vs Ice Emperor

So season 11 is seperated to Fire arc and Ice arc, and in Korea they put that fire and ice together in the title. Ice Emperor is in the title since he is the key character in the Ice arc. But...isn't Ninja of Fire vs Ice Emperor like, lying to the audience?

Season 12 - Ninjago: Level up into the Game!(닌자고 게임 속으로 레벨 업!)

(I started watching Ninjago less than before since this season, so I'm quite unsure of the title origins from now on)

The ninja go into the game, so there you go, Level up into the game!

Season 13 - Ninjago: Into the Skull Dungeon!(닌자고 스컬 던전 속으로!)

There is a dungeon, there is a skull sorcerer, so there you go, Into the skull dungeon! Also exclamation mark has been made for two seasons

Special - Ninjago: The Unknown Island(닌자고 미지의 섬)

So they just added 'unknown' in the season title. That's it.

Season 14 - Ninjago: The Unknown Sea(닌자고 미지의 바다)

For what I know this season has connection with the special, so I guess why it has 'unknown' just like the special

Season 15 - Ninjago: Crystal of Darkness(닌자고 어둠의 크리스털)

So this season has crystals made by the Overlord, right? So yeah, that's why it's crystal of darkness, since it's the crystal made by the Overlord

New Season - Ninjago: Dragon Rising(닌자고 드래곤 라이징)

That rare case which the season title hasn't changed in Korea, again. They put out the s, but that's quite normal in literally using the english title in Korea.

Well, that's it for the season titles. So far all of the season titles are changed except for rebooted and dragons rising. If I have the energy I might come back for some name changes in Korea
