People are freaking the fuck out about episode 100, Buck, Bothered, Bewildered, but I'm more focused on episode 101, You Don't Know Me
Is episode 100 going to be a musical? My clown makeup says yes, for funsies
HOWEVER!!!!
No matter what happens in episode 100, episode 101 is gonna air a week later and I think that's what's gonna break us
Episode 101 is the episode that we're gonna have to focus on for two whole weeks instead of the usual one. Episode 101 is the episode that's gonna end on a cliffhanger and we're just gonna have to deal with it. Episode 101 is the episode that'll address whatever happened in episode 100, but leave us screaming about whatever happened in the last 5 minutes that won't get addressed right away because the shows taking a mid-season break. Episode 101 is the episode that's titled, "You Don't Know Me" that's gonna air after the show has its big 100th musical extravaganza. EPISODE 101 IS THE LAST 911 CONTENT WE ARE GOING TO GET FOR TWO. WHOLE. WEEKS!!!
I'm looking at posts on here and on Twitter and I don't think people realize that!
Everyone's so focused on "OMG BUCK TITLE EPISODE AND ITS NAMED AFTER A SONG THATS TALKING ABOUT FALLING IN LOVE HOLY SHIT BUDDIE CANON SEASON 7!!!!" Which, I mean, same... 😅😅😅🤡🤡🤡 but they're not seeing the big picture!
We're gonna get to see whatever happens next in episode 101, but I don't want people to be completely blindsided when episode 101 ends and they realize they're gonna be forced to sit and process whatever the fuck they just saw. For, again,
TWO!!!!
WHOLE!!!!!!
WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!
PAY ATTENTION PEOPLE!!!! YOUR SANITY IS AT RISK!!!!
also episode 101 is gonna air on my birthday so I will take partial responsibility for whatever happens lol But only partial! I'm warning you bitches ahead of time so be prepared

Okay I just had a thought. What makes the drowning theory even more interesting and terrifying for the characters is that Buck's lungs were still a little iffy in 6x14. Bobby tried to pretend like Buck was fine but even Buck knew he wasn't 100%. Depending on when the cruise takes place, whether they don't time jump or use flashbacks or something, his lung capacity could still be bad.

New S7 WK Eps - [Spoiler Free] Review + Predictions/Thoughts:
New Wild Kratts Season 7 episodes are on the premises after a 4-month hiatus. The episodes were found on https://metadatabank.pbs.org by a few Twitter users, with premises to boot.
Two of the episodes were uploaded on the TVO Kids' YouTube Channel. For anyone who doesn't know, full episodes of PBS Kids shows are uploaded on that channel and are only accessible directly to Canadian viewers. The only way U.S. viewers can access them is through a VPN.
To prevent heavy spoilers, especially for those who don't have a VPN/want to wait until the episodes come out in America, I won't provide any links. I have watched the first two episodes of the new batch, and I will be doing a [spoiler-free] review of them below the cut, again, because I know that not everyone is going to/is able to immediately hop onto a VPN and watch the eps months before they air on television. The other 2 episodes are yet to be televised or uploaded, so anything I say about them will be pure speculation until the U.S. airdate.
This is not a 100% spoiler-free thread. If you have seen the episodes on the VPN and intend on reblogging with spoilers, use the spoiler tag/cut appropriately; Spoilery comments in the thread are prohibited overall because there's no way to loop around that, so bear in mind:
Backpack the Camel:
The gang travels to the Gobi Desert to discover the last remaining wild camels in the world. They experience the harshness of the desert landscape and are rescued from it only by the wild Bactrian camels and their amazing survival skills.
No Name Dream:
Martin has a dream that he's forgotten to name some baby animals and awakens in a sweat. Aviva tries to reassure him that he named them all, but Koki, after checking the data base, confirms that Martin's right! The Wild Kratts' mission is to go back and name all the ,unnamed, and along the way, learn more about their creaturenality and share some wow facts about their animal friends!
Fish Out of Water:
After a Creature Power Disc mishap, the bros become marooned in the world of a mudskipper, a fish that can walk on land. They must find their discs within a foreign world of intense competition, with unexpected dangers at every turn
Our Blue and Green World: Parts 1 & 2:
While doing their annual Laundry Day, the Kratt Brothers disagree on what's better; blue oceans or green forests. Can the gang get Martin and Chris back in synch in time to save Planet Earth from Zach and Paisley's villainous plans?
Again, no confirmed airdates, so we know what we're in for, but we'll just have to wait. But I'll post my disjointed thoughts and predictions on each episode in this big-ass compiled post bc I'm too lazy for separate posts:

Backpack the Camel - REVIEW
How the fuck did it take us 12.5 years to get a camel episode? There was literally a live-action opener featuring camels and llamas which segwayed into a fucking Koala episode? I know it doesn't really matter, but it's so jarring
The episode's humor is..... not that good. It feels like they were trying too hard to make it "meme" material with a recurring facial gag but it gets old really quickly. Luckily it's not present throughout the episode, and compared to previous scenes in the show (ex. that awful dabbing and floss scene from the ant episode), it's pretty tame.
The camels in this episode are beautifully animated. I swear to god, you could clearly tell that they wanted the camels to look as detailed as possible but still retaining that WK-style look.
The Camel Power Suit, I thought it was going to be awful and at first I hated, but it actually turned out to be pretty good. It gets right what a the more recent quadrupedal power suits get wrong. Though I’m fairly certain that this is going to be an unpopular opinion once the episode comes out.
Wild Kratts has a pretty good track record for debunking animal myths so if you're frustrated with how the mainstream media misrepresents camels or how many myths and misconceptions about them are spread, then this episode is definitely for you.
Ranking: 7/10
No Name Dream - REVIEW
We started off the season with Chris angst and now we’ve got Martin angst. I can’t comment too much on the dream sequence but… let’s just say that the animators were having a lot of fun with it. It’s giving Zooboomafoo vibes if anything.
I feel like MK IRL realized that there were some unnamed baby animals, and decided to write this episode as a meta ref to that. Overall, it feels like the most self-insert-y episode of the show to date (even moreso than Liturgusa Krattorum)
This episode highlights what Wild Kratts does better than most shows nowadays. It knows how to do fanservice correctly. Mainly in the form of callbacks to inventions/locations, power suits, and animals that we haven’t seen in years. The reason they do this correctly is because they don’t do it for the sake of it, there’s a very intriguing plot around it that gives it a point/purpose and it overall makes sense. The crew goes around naming unnamed baby animals from past adventures. That’s something I have wanted to see in years (I even made up my own fan-names for some baby animals that didn’t get a name, though one of them is rendered non-canon in the ep.)
In fact, the modern seasons of the show do this pretty damn well, what with the return of Aviva’s rollerblades in the S6 finale, the tellurium crystal cameo in the raven episode, giving Paisley Paver a solo role in this season, and this episode, where we get a lot of cool callbacks to the earlier seasons when the crew travels around the world to name the unnamed. I think the reason they do this is because they know that after 10 years, people are going to get nostalgic - That and because PBS Kids’ horrible scheduling that forces viewers at home to wait months or even years for new episodes to come out, makes the show runners try and work their way around it through the episode’s quality, so that if it’s great, or hell, even if it’s good, that would compensate for the episode’s wait. It’s one of the many things that gives me hope for Season 7.
I kid you not, there is one scene in this episode that made me scream at my iPad when I first watched it. It’s clearly fanservice, but in the best degree. I’m not going to give ANY hints because it’s too spoilery, but let’s just say, as someone who is a longtime viewer of the show since S1, and has been begging for years for untapped stuff in the earlier episodes to make a comeback, this certain scene in this episode felt like an extremely detailed love-letter to my childhood, if not a very clever witty response to my brainrotting on the blog. This scene is kinda why I’m very adamant about the “no spoilers” thing; The majority of the fandom needs to see this scene televised.
The baby animal’s names vary. Some are cringe, (I guess,) some are okay, and then some are actually alright. Also, cute baby animals!!!!!
Ranking: 8/10
Fish Out of Water - Predictions/Thoughts:
Again, almost 13 years to give us a mudskipper episode? If it wasn’t for that one episode of Octonaughts, I wouldn’t have even known what a mudskipper was if you showed it to me. Side-note, mudskippers are cool.
Ok but a Creature Power Disc mishap? Even after getting disc-holders, these mf still loose these damn discs 😭
Going back to the “WK magazines show Creature Powers of future episodes,” there was a page of a mudskipper shown in a magazine from 2019 that I cannot for the life of me find.
Mudskippers live in Borneo. I hope this implies that we’ll see more animals/Creature Powers of that location since we haven’t gotten it since S4 (more than 5 years ago).
Here’s a Wow Fact about Mudskippers: Their eyes bulge out of their heads unlike other fish and can move independently from each other (not unlike chameleons). They can also live on land apparently and, well… they skip pretty well. I’m expecting the name of a mudskipper to be something like “Skippy” or “Skipper” or something along those lines.
Oh, these motherfuckers can also CLIMB.
Our Blue and Green Earth - Predictions/Thoughts:
This episode was hyped during the premiere marathon week of S7, where Martin originally called the special “Blue and Green: The Living Earth” and listed the animals we’d be seeing in the new special.
Honestly, am I the only one who’s kinda bummed that this is the 8th/9th episode of the season? I mean, didn’t the article that first disclosed this special say that S7 would be breaking the 200 episode milestone? I feel like a huge one-hour special with an aesthetic title like that would be a good contender for Episode 200. Unless this was 200th episode of the show to be produced, but the network fucked up and broadcasted this special early and had another one in its place… it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve done that though.
I’ve gone on about a Paisley/Donita team up, but Zach and Paisley also fit too. Both have a grey aesthetic, have alliterative names, are executive CEOs who are both implied to get away from the law via nepotism/capitalism. And both villains have engaged in logging and habitat destruction. Whilst Donita and Paisley have an “opposites attract” thing going on with them when you put them together (which is one of the million reasons why I hardcore ship them), Zach and Paisley are like two peas in a pod.
I guess this is another “disagree” episode, like in Fireflies, Bass Class, or Wolf Hawks. Don’t know how they can drag it out for 40 minutes but let’s see how they do it.
I think they may be planning this as an Earth Day special. Blue and Green, whilst associated with the Kratt Bros, are also associated with the Planet Earth, so it makes sense to air this on Earth Day. Additionally, the 100th episode, Animals Who Live to Be 100 Years Old, had aired as an Earth Day special, as part of a week-long Earth Day marathon of S4 episodes (including Spirit Bear, Paisley’s debut episode). So I think it would be thematically appropriate to air this episode on Earth Day.
I think it’d be like, really funny if the double-episode had the “blue” as one part, written by Martin, and the “green” as another part, written by Chris.
I predict that the climax of the episode will involve the brothers having to defend the opposite climate of their preference. Like, Chris using Blue Whale Powers to defend the ocean animals from the Zachbots, and Martin using Indri Powers to rescue the forests from the Pavers. This is what brings them back in synch after realizing that blue and green are equally important and can rightfully co-exist… just like them (awww).
If there is not a Blue Whale Suit, I might actually cry.
Let’s hope that these episodes air on TV at the end of the year because this hiatus is killing me.

I'll of course withhold final judgement about Eddie's s7 story until after the finale, but at the moment it's so fucking sad. Unless they manage to turn this mess suddenly into a decent mental health story in less than two episodes, wth are they leaving us with? That would just be a ton of bad story desicions, bring Marisol back, tell nothing about that relationship, randomly moving in and out, that nun bs that teases catholic guilt but nothing comes from it, and then they make him cheat with a Shannon doppelganger. I really hope they haven't forgotten to rehabilitate Eddie somehow in the finale, because parts of the fandom have always been tearing him apart, and now that some former buddie shippers don't need him for Buck anymore... I'm scared of this summer before us and what the fandom will turn into if they don't make this storyline make sense and show Eddie in a more fathomable or positive light.
I agree with you 100%. I’m worried because I don’t see how they can do this story justice in the time they have left with all the other stories we have going on. I know it’s a popular thing to say Eddie needs to go back to therapy, and i agree, but I don’t think that’s a satisfying season endinf for him either. We already saw his therapy storyline, yes in real life healing isn’t linear and therapy should be continued, but this is a tv show for entertainment. Everyone else partnered up with Eddie being discarded by everyone is not my idea of must see tv. I know some shippers dropped Eddie fast the moment a more palatable (🙄) alternative came on the scene, but I hope the show doesn’t do it too. I mean his trauma is being played as a goofy soap opera now.
I do not look forward to a summer of Eddie bashing and I can only block so fast. Especially if Buck is left in a “happy” no chemistry relationship. Frankly, if speculation is correct and the 118 is split up I don’t see that as must see tv. The show is better when everyone is working and interacting together.
And if I’m wrong and the finale is awesome for Eddie, I’ll come back and sing Tim’s praises. I’d love to be wrong.

I started writing a much too long post about the new short story and the choice to convey plot-relevant information in external media that (to be extremely real) only the people most embedded in the fandom are ever going to encounter, but really it's like
I have mixed feelings about it in general, because on the one hand, I deeply enjoy picking this shit apart. The payoff of comparing the disparate and evolving accounts of how magic came to humanity has literally been more satisfying to me than anything else I have done academically or professionally in my life.
I have also personally witnessed it drive people away from trying out the series, because "there's also important stuff that's revealed only in the spinoff comics or the online short stories, and then there's the RPG sourcebook" is understandably a fucking insane ask for someone dipping their toes into a new fandom. I saw this in Star Wars fandom a lot, too—people literally afraid to engage because there's so fucking much spinoff content that they would never be able to catch up. The thing is, for Star Wars, I can say with 100% confidence that you do not have to have read a single fucking thing, and anyone who tells you otherwise is a) a goddamn liar and b) not someone you want to hang out with. For TDP, I truly... can't. I can't say that. So I can't ask people to get into this content speculatively because the barrier to entry is honestly too steep.
Like, on some level what they are doing only works because they can afford to essentially cater to the deepest fans. They're not worried about creating the "TDP Media Universe" that is simultaneously hooked in to deepfan obsession and instantly accessible to new viewers from any new release entry point, and therefore simultaneously overcomplicated and shallow.
And while that really speaks to the craft that has gone into this series, that it's written tightly enough to deliver this rich multimedia experience, it's also on some level a reminder of just how ephemeral it is—nothing on the internet lasts, and the Reflections stories will one day be irretrievable. Which would be sad enough if it didn't also remind me that this is a fucking Netflix show, so it's not an unlikely outcome that after s7 finishes it may not even be a year before you literally can't watch it ever again. Even if it hangs around, how long? Five years, maybe, after the finale until half of this content is no longer accessible to new fans, because of its format? The irony that we will all have our physical copies of TTM when the material it supports is long-gone is... hm.
It's just... a real choice, that they've made.

Oh god, i used to watch Frikidoctor for the news of season 7/8 GoT 😂 (spanish mother tongue)
How did you crash with him?
I suppose we all knew about Frikidoctor and his S7 leaks that were 100% confirmed, he was all over Twitter and Reddit. His leaks were legit since he got them from someone that dubbed the series to Spanish (that's why he got his reputation of having legit leaks). HBO sued him at some point, so he couldn't do the same for S8. He got some info from the filming sets in Spain (Like Tyrion's trial) and then he added his own speculations (Tyrion will die being the bitter part of the bittersweet ending -WTF? & jonerice not being in the trial because aunty was giving birth boatie with Jon by her side LMAO) and got almost everything wrong (targ restoration WRONG, boatie WRONG, jonerice king & queen WRONG).
I still remember his fervent belief that 'without targ restoration the show would make no sense' LOL

The 100 Final Season Speculation Tag
Thank you for the tag, @bellarkes-hope! This is fun to think about and I like reading everyone’s answers!
1. Which character are you most excited to learn the endgame of: I’m not sure if “excited” is the word - more like ANXIOUS! Ha! But, no surprise here - I’m most interested in Raven & Murphy’s endgame
2. Which character are you most excited to learn the backstory of: I definitely would love more backstory on Becca Franco, which would then lead to Cadogan & Second Dawn, all of which I’m interested in. But I also want to know what Diyoza’s been up to in the Anomaly.
3. One character who deserves a new look: Diyoza! Let’s have her come out of the Anomaly (or when whoever goes IN) looking kind of fresh and fancy. Also, same for Indra, honestly! I love Indra’s awesome look but I would not be upset to see her updated for the last season.
4. Two locations you want to revisit: Becca’s Lab for sure! I find everything there interesting and think there’s a lot more to explore. Also lets go back to Cadogan’s Office/The Office in the bunker - there’s some FASCINATING photos behind the desk and that seal on the wall that MIGHT be “Becca’s Crypt” still seems relevant...
5. Three brotps you hope get more screentime: I would like to see Octavia & Diyoza, Raven & Diyoza and probably Murphy & Jordan (although I was amused at Murphy & Gabriel’s interactions too)
6. Who will get the happiest ending: Oh man... this question haunts me. I don’t know if anyone is going to get to be “happy” but I really would like to see hopefulness at the end of the story. I could be satisfied if Raven & Murphy die as long as they actively choose to die together. Do I want that? Not really, but it would give them autonomy over something that happens to them and characters in this world rarely seem to get that. I would very much like for Raven to be happy but I’m not sure the writers know what that IS for her any longer. A new rando dude that she’s known for 12 days doesn’t feel like happily ever after to me, soooo....
7. Which minor or new characters you want to see more of: I don’t want new characters. Let me say that again. I DON’T WANT NEW CHARACTERS. Yes, I know we’re going to get some but I don’t want to focus on them AT ALL. Now that said - we’ve already got Russell & Diyoza and I think that the two of them going up against each other would be fantastic. Also, give me Becca always and jeez can we get some more Jordan?!
8. Who will eventually snap Jordan out of the funk we see him in, at the end of 6x13: Personally I would like this to be Murphy. I think it definitely needs to be a member(s) of Spacekru
9. Who will be the first to tell Bellamy he can’t immediately run into the Anomaly after Octavia: Well if it happens right away, then probably Echo, since that’s who he was with at the end of s6. But if they go back to Sanctum to report on what happened and how Octavia disappeared, then maybe it could be Clarke.
10. To reference Monty’s ‘do better’ mantra: Raven would be a good choice, Echo too
11. To say 'go float yourself’: Would love this to be Jordan, LOL
12. Random object or prop you would bring back for Season 7 if you could: Ohhh... well I definitely think we’re going to see more of Becca’s Notebook, and I’m here for whatever esoteric info is in that sucker! Raven is on the case! But also - man man man I really wanna see the tattoos of this world come to MEAN SOMETHING! Lemme see more of Gaia’s Flamekeeper tattoo and how it connected to Titus and the seal in the Second Dawn bunker! Lemme see if the leaf jewel Simone wore in her hair is actually the reference to the Broadleaf clan in Grounder history that I want it to be. I want to know what all those tattoos on McCreary meant and how about Shaw too. I have THOUGHT about this stuff and I wanna know SO BAD! Also - I would NOT be mad to see the soccer ball make yet another appearance!
13. Book One storyline/reference you want to see back for Season 7: Well it isn’t a broad storyline but I really loved the Raven part of the story where she accepted that Finn wasn’t right for her because he didn’t love her “the way I want to be loved” in 1x10. That was a tough conclusion for her to come to and I really appreciated that she was acknowledging her self worth at the same time she was choosing not to hate Finn or really even to blame him. But since then she’s had a lot of self doubt, hasn’t felt like she’s that worthy of being happy, and has struggled with her capabilities (ie guilt from not being able to get Spacekru off the Ring/being willing to die because of it). Feels like s6 brought so many of the s1 personalities back (yikes) so I’d love to see Raven get her confidence back and recognize that she’s more than worthy. Heck, this isn’t a bad storyline for all the characters, really.
14. Dead character you would like mentioned: I’m always thrilled with a Sinclair reference, but really Harper and Monty should be mentioned along with the other delinquents who died too. Also it was rad to see Pike in s6 so heck add him in and while I’m at it lets talk about Luna and “it’s not your blood that defines you, it’s your heart”! Hello, that’s relevant with all our new nightbloods, isn’t it?!
15. How do you think Hope and Octavia know each other (from season 6): Definitely seems like Octavia helped raise Hope during her time in the Anomaly. Maybe when Octavia came back to Sanctum, could be that Hope was like 12 or something, so seeing Hope come out of the Anomaly as an adult made Octavia feel so emotional. The idea of Octavia & Diyoza as either co-parents or honestly with Diyoza as pseudo-mom to both of them pleases me.
16. How do you think it all will end?: I’m struggling not to just post a photo of that dumpster on fire that’s going around about 2020, LOLOLOL. But I mean... I’ve been burned by other shows so I don’t have a lot of confidence here. I’m really hoping for both an ending that feels at least a bit hopeful but also is true to CHARACTER arcs through the series, not simply whatever the plot of s7 turns out to be. Call me Fox Mulder but I WANT TO BELIEVE - I want to believe that humanity isn’t just some plague across the universe. So... I’ll speculate that a group of survivors is either landing back on Earth or at least heading there at the end of the show. I think we need to fix what we break, and of course that means going back to our own planet. This would not be disappointing to me, so maybe the view of a renewed green Earth is the last shot we get, but instead of just being one or two people looking down, it’s everyone who has made it back. I dunno... FWIW I haven’t rewatched shows that have ended poorly, so I hope t100 doesn’t have me abandoning the world they created.
(Don’t freak fellow Murven fans - I will never abandon THEM! And whatever ending we get, I’m sure I’ll have some stories in response to it!)
Tagging - literally ANYONE who wants to play! And feel free to tag me because I like reading these! @osleyakomwonkru @hopskipaway @ghostmontygreen @raveniisms @jarleene @beesreadbooks @mobi-on-a-mission @arkadiaschancellor @the100-theories @kinetic-elaboration @awesomenell65 @star-sky-earth @tracylorde @johnmurphysass @mamabearsdontthink

Why did the disciples have instructions to kidnap Bellamy Blake?
Because of Bellarke.
Their mission is to get Clarke to Bardo.
Do they try to kidnap her? No.
Because they know better. They’ve seen her through Octavia’s eyes.
They know Clarke is dangerous and formidable. She’s taken down her enemies. She’s also self-sacrificing. Remember they saw S3 and what she was willing to sacrifice to stop ALIE.
But they also saw her weaknesses, so they aren’t going to attack her right away. No they’re going to give her a reason to come to them.
They’ve only seen through Season 3, but they still know to start with Bellamy Blake. They still know he is Clarke’s weakness and that she will do whatever it takes to get him back.
No one else was part of that plan.
Maybe they would have had other choices. Other people Clarke considers family: Madi and Abby. (Although Clarke was willing to sacrifice Abby to stop ALIE). They don’t know about Madi. They don’t know if Abby is on Sanctum. But they did see Bellamy on Sanctum through Octavia’s memories.
The orders were to kill Echo, Gabriel, and Hope. I imagine the orders wouldn’t be the same for the hundred (who could be more hostages)... but the attack was very targeted: Bellamy.
Why not wait for Clarke to come after Octavia? (Who they should also know Clarke sees as family)
Because they know Clarke and Bellamy are even MORE formidable TOGETHER. They must be separated.
Bellamy being captured by the disciples to lure Clarke to Bardo is confirmation of Bellarke. It’s confirmation of who they are to each other.

Bardo and Sanctum represent two polar opposites ideologically
In Bardo, Cadogan's cult was built on the suppression of personal bonds (love and family) for the sake of the collective. Bill Cadogan lost his whole family and his cult and ideology is the only thing left to him.
Sanctum, on the other hand, saw the cult of the Primes which was created to solely benefit a few chosen families, while exploiting the collective. Russell did everything he did because of his own egoistical love for his family.
This all ties together with the concept of "my people" which has come up many, many times in this show. When are we justified to kill in order to save the people we love? Where does the idea of "my people" start and where does it end? Is it humanity as a whole, our own group, our family, even just ourselves? Every character has been faced with this question and has taken different positions throughout the show (just some examples: Clarke's will to save mankind when arguing with Roan for the bunker, Lexa's choice at Mount Weather, Murphy's concern for his own survival only).
It is, ultimately, a deeply ethical question, one which is not always easy to answer. Even the aforementioned characters have taken different stances in different moments of the story and have evolved. The most sensible way could be the one Clarke and Bellamy consistently gravitate towards: compromise. They both always strive to act as ethically good as possible, while still being ready to go to great lengths in order to save the ones they love if necessary, therefore maintaining their humanity. Whether this is the right answer to the question and maybe also the key to saving mankind (by passing the test?), we shall see.

One thing that I think was absolutely hinted at in Bellamy’s death scene - whatever ascension/transcendence bullshit he believed in will probably turn out to be real.
We see him flip through Madi’s sketchbook and there’s a few notable pages - he sees Callie Pramfleimkepa, first up close, and then in another shot by an Anomaly stone (I saw people saying this was Lexa but go rewatch the scene and pause - that’s definitely Callie, Lexa never wore her hair like that, but we saw Callie rock that braided part for a good chunk of her episode) and then Bellamy sees what he assumes is a representation of the Light that he saw in the caves on Etherea (edit: not Nakara, as I wrote earlier, my bad.)
Madi has memories that aren’t hers, presumably memories belonging to one of the first Hedas, and those memories pointed to a story in which Callie and the transcendence her father believes in are somehow connected, which confirms Cadogen’s beliefs - that’s why Bellamy felt like Madi’s journal was worth dying for.
Basically, what I’m getting at is that if Madi has these visions of the Anomaly Stone and of Callie, another Commander must have had them at some point, too. Bellamy realizes that when he sees Madi’s sketches, and he knows about transcendence in a way that Clarke and everyone else don’t.
I can see JRoth thinking it’s a very clever twist of the knife, and will retroactively give some meaning to Bellamy’s death, if it turns out that Bellamy was right all along.

If The 100 makes Echo pregnant with Bellamy’s baby I’m going to straight up curb stomp Jason Rothenberg. Not ONLY because he would have baited us with 7 seasons of sexual tension and romantic implications and declarations between Bellamy and Clarke but ALSO because he would literally be making actors portray shit like that knowing full well Eliza and Bob lost a baby together. Someone come fucking stop me, I dare you.
EDIT—For those asking Jason let it slip in an interview someone would have a baby this season. While it’s possible it’s Hope (I didn’t read the context just saw it spreading on Twitter) Tasya was the photo for the 7 Day countdown and covered her stomach AND posted some tweet about being “born” ready I guess? Check Twitter it’s everywhere and every blorke including me is in meltdown mode.

What if seasons 6 & 7 (Book 2) have all been a simulation created by Monty?
At the end of S5 they were only meant to be in cryo for 10 years and then go back home to Earth which would be habitable again. But Monty stayed awake and discovered it never recovered. He spent 30 or so years trying to crack the Eligius III files and set them on a course to Planet Alpha for a second chance. At least that’s what he said in his video logs.
What if Earth did come back after 10 years but Monty had lived this peaceful life with Harper and Jordan and realised he didn’t want to wake them up. If they did go back home, they’d probably just destroy it again. Maybe Jasper was right and humans are the problem.
So instead of waking them up he spent the next 50 years creating a test for them. A test that would decide whether or not they are capable of doing better. A shared simulation with everyone who is in cryo.
Now what about all the new characters who weren’t in cryo? Monty cracked the Eligius III mission files so he knew about the 5 possible habitable planets and had files on every person who went on the mission. So he’d know who the Lightbourne’s are, and Gabriel, and that they went to Planet Alpha. He knew they had mind drives, tech created by Becca, and they were all nightbloods. Maybe he thought, what if they reverse engineered them to hold entire consciousnesses and are immortal ‘gods’? That could be the first test - how will they react in a situation where one of their loved ones is body snatched? Will they destroy another planet or will they do better?
Then he started to get creative and thought, hey what if there are ancient Stones that are bridges to each of the planets, that could be a cool scenario for the second test? And then he remembered back to his time on Earth and thought, what if Bill Cadogan, leader of the Second Dawn, is the leader of another cult? That would tie everything back to the past.
What if Octavia and Diyoza are isolated on a planet together with a child and forced to face their demons? How about a machine that can extract memories? That will force them to come to terms with the things they’ve done.
What if Bellamy is ‘killed’? How will his loved ones react? Will they destroy another planet? What if there is a bioweapon and a single drop could wipe out an entire civilisation? Would they consider using it?
Maybe Echo or Emori told Monty about Sheidheda (he was probably well known among the Grounders) and he thought, how about he somehow escapes from the Flame and becomes a big threat?
And maybe some of the pseudoscience was thought up by a young Jordan. Honestly some of the new ridiculous things introduced this season seems like it was written by a child.
So essentially this whole thing has been one big intricate test to determine whether humanity should be allowed to return to Earth. A test to determine whether they are actually capable of doing better.
If they do pass, Monty will wake them up and allow them to return home. If not, he’ll strand them out in space to live out the rest of their lives somewhere they can’t destroy.
Either way, there will be some sort of a full circle ending. They return home to Earth, just the like the 100 at the beginning of the show. Or they’ll be stranded in space unable to return to the ground, just as they were on the Ark.
Look, I hope we don’t get an ‘it was all simulation’ ending but I’m just trying to make sense of what has happened this season. So many things seem off so maybe it was purposeful? A hint that things are not as they seem?
But if it was all a simulation that would mean everything we’ve seen the past 2 seasons wasn’t real and the prequel would be invalidated. So I’m leaning towards no. I think it’s all just bad writing.
