- also it took like 6 minutes for shintaro to leave the house... theres other things being done ofc, establishing shinene's dynamics, quick exposition of how ene ended up with shintaro to begin with, and spilling soda onto the computer and leaving the house. but i feel like it wouldve been better if the anime stuck to what the novels + mr1 does, where ene blares a loud fucking alarm. that quickly establishes shinene's dynamic and easily leads to a So You Must Be Wondering How I Got Here type of thing, and then knock over the soda leave the house bam easy. instead the anime really took its time with like..... idk making shinaro look ikemen. yeahhh not the best choice, especially considered how rushed the last few episodes are gonna be. ok back to watching the anime

Everyone in AOT can die and ill be alright, but as soon as a KFC sign enters my field of view? guaranteed breakdown. Tbh, maybe its me being easily impressed by anything, but I've never seen better written characters than in JJK. Theres just something about them that's just, so beautifully fleshed out and so painfully human it hurts in a good way. Its so easy to see them as real people, which makes it even easier to feel for them and connect. My new goal is to be able to write characters like those in JJK.

Using anime as escapism just became my go to ngl. Its better than thinking about college acceptance and the future bc I can be whoever I want in fics (I can literally be a housewife and have a househusband at the same time). ALSO! anime ops slap. Im obsessed with Komi can't communicate's opening! its so cute and I love it. JJK's opening just makes me cry (still really good)

aot deaths just became so routine that i'm basically unbothered (except for a few ahem) but yeah i think a big reason why jjk upsets me a lot is the fandom and how they manage to dig up every single detail. i also fell in love with geto through fics lolol this fandom is just something else... gege is an incredible writer and with every new chapter, i'm just amazed at how he can come up with such creative characters. wish we knew more about him honestly, he's an interesting person himself. i mean look at fujimoto, a fucking lunatic and i love him for that. istg if we ever get a collab/interview of them together i would die

i know lots of people hate the aot ending but i found it appropriate and bitter. yeah it's not perfect but it's not as horrible as people make it out to be. i wish we had more chapters, it felt p rushed but still, thinking about all the other manga endings, aot falls to a decent place imo

my introduction to anime journey is long but for jjk, my best friend told me about it, we were watching aot s4 and jjk was still releasing. we didn't have time to watch it and stuff but i remember getting spoiled about nanami KMWKSEMDWSDF we nicknamed nanami as blonde daddy and megumi as jjk levi. i also remember being ahocked that megumi was 15 and gojo was 28 AND nanami being younger than gojo LMAOO i read the manga before watching the anime. i was thinking "if i read 2 chapters everyday, it won't hold me back from studying and i can finish it in summer".... yeah i finished it in a week

omg dont get me started on the camera thingy. i watched fleabag before the office and ugh i just keep staring into the void, it's so fun especially with how i constantly narrate everything in my head

anime is probably the best way for escapism. a big reason why i love evangelion is exactly this, it punched me in the face. i relate to shinji a lot in that way, it was like breaking the fourth wall lol. anime ops dont have to slap that hard but they do. my top listened song on spotify was boku no sensou since it got released lol it might be one of my favorite songs of all time. shinsei kamattechan is such an underrated band tbh. other than that, jjk openings send me to the orbit every time i listen to them. the new aot op??? orgasmic. a cruel angel's thesis? give me the mic and i will pour my soul into it. renai circulation??? it used to be my breakdown song. i would cry to it, not kidding.

I wanted to be Bunny cos... it was the name of my plush rabbit doll. And my fave animal in general. I’m not very creative! Pokemon Team:  I try and have a different one each generation, like Ash. But i still keep all my previous teams pride of place in a special box in each game and I love doing postgame stuff and minigames with them. I get really attatched to my mons! I’m so guilty feeling that I lost two mons from my unova playthrough during the transfer bck and forth from friends’s games back when i didnt have a DS for a few years. my poor samurott and leavanny... :( Anyway, my current team in sun and moon is primarina, mimikyu, goloisipod, alola raichu, alola muk and lurantis! I’m really glad they kept the whole eye symbolism from OG nanoha (“that girl with the sad but beautiful eyes”), since vivid seems to be taking a lot from it tonally/thematically. It feels very full circle in a nice way.

Ok, I know ive been teasing einhart a lot for how wrapped up she is in the past drama, but this is genuinely tragic. She’s a child stuck with all these memories and associated trauma that she has absolutely no way to process or cope with, and so instead she’s just living with all this guilt she inherited, and trying desperately to hold herself above the standards of adult soldiers in a long-ago war. No wonder she sounds so drained and regretful all the time.

Gods. She’s twelve. And just… gods Someone please give this child a hug I mean I know vivio will be there to help soon, but this is painful to watch
