being someone who works in childcare and like cares a lot about children’s entertainment is a blessing and a curse tbh. On the one hand it’s not looked at strangely for wearing clothes with characters on it but also I get to pick the music in the classroom and have the delight of the kids choosing lazytown and Sesame Street over disney, but also I see So Much bad children’s entertainment.

like i luv them, but c’mon… I know a lot of people think that chrollo would be the most tolerable out of the adult trio, but i beg to differ. that man would be so manipulative and would make you feel like shit and put you in a state of co-dependency while his ass is out doing evil phantom troupe shit. and during this you would be trying to keep your slowly but surely deteriorating mental health alive. it would be such an icky situation and i can tell that shit wouldn’t be fun. imo of the characters, illumi MIGHT be the easiest to deal with dating… as long as you don’t get attached to him, because he isn’t very affectionate. im giving him some leverage because i can tell he cares about those he loves, but like, he loves in an odd way. Hisoka is hisoka. thats all i have to say tbh. i honestly have no clue how he would act. he would probably go out of his way to toy with you, but in the way that he gets his sadistic pleasure out of it. and its really just playful teasing and stuff, but he also isn’t very committed, and would likely just stop being interested and just break up with you. onto the more tolerable ones, but still toxic, we have meruem. he’s not horrible once you get used to him, but he is um… interesting. he isn’t affectionate early on, and probably wanted to kill you at first, but based on his relationship with komugi in canon, i believe that he has potential to be a good person/chimera ant/ thing idfk. anyways, kurapika. he is very motivated to destroy the phantom troupe, which may cause him to be toxic in some ways. he doesn’t mean to, he just gets caught up in his revenge plans, sometimes so much so that he forgets to be good to himself, let alone be good to you (he is so me tbh). leorio is honestly fine. he would be a good boyfriend, and he would be very sweet. maybe a little bit sexually driven and may accidentally upset you, but he makes up for it by caring for you. he may get caught up in his emotions sometimes, but he always calms down and makes up for it well, and apologizes. you can tell that he cares and that he would never hurt you mentally or physically. Now onto more toxic mfs, pariston fucking hill. he is the definition of toxic, and sort of like chrollo but in the blond politician sorta way. he would give zero fucks about your feeling and would use you to his advantage. 0/10 would not recommend. anyways, ging. …no. he is very laid back and casual with dating, and probably would upset you all the time and arguments would be common. not quite as bad as some others, but still toxic.

Im sorry guys. But, make the villains as babygirl as you want so that fans can sympathise with them. But, remember whose narrative you are writing. If the main perspective in ATLA is Gaang that were hunted and harassed by Princess Azula. If we are meant to look through the lens of the older brother she bullied throughout her life, these people are would not have seen her insecure moments. These people don’t view her as a fourteen year old cog in a greater evil. In their head, she is evil personified (especially from Katara’s POV).

We, the audience, see her more vulnerable side in brief moments from her POV (which only occurs after Zuko’s POV somewhat merges with the Gaang) and in small moments from TyLee’s PoV. Even in the Ember Island episode, Azula’s vulnerability is never shown from her POV because plot twist guys AZULA DOESN’T see herself as insecure. In her own narrative, she is the monster, she is the villain. She is a fourteen year old with an over-inflated ego. She isn’t afraid of disappointing her dad or being the least favourite because SHE WAS BUILT UP BY OZAI INTO DELUSION.

She is beautiful. She is flawless. She is intelligent. She is powerful. She is THE true Fire Lord! That’s how she views herself. This ideal never crumbles- not even when she is cracks and her friends leave her. And, that is what Ozai did to her. Ozai (this abstract force in ATLA) hurt her by feeding into her delusion and manipulating her into a tool.

All of this could not have been shown if ATLA had been told through Azula’s POV. IMO the Netflix writers demystified a lot of plot lines (ie giving Ozai a face, introducing Azula too early, emphasising Kiyoshi). This takes away from the wonder of slowly introducing audiences into the ATLA world.

This brings me back to narratives. Katara is the best narrator because to some degree, she was isolated from the rest of the world since she was young. Through her lens, the ATLA world outside of the Southern water tribe is coloured in wonder.

If the series had been told through Aang’s POV (Aang who had already travelled the world), the world after the war would have become very small and dismal (we see this when he discovers the air temple grave yard). Furthermore, Zuko’s POV while still isolated serves to remind us of the horrors of war. He shows us a more adult-world but it is always tainted by anger and hate. He cannot be the main narrator (he is only a supplemental narrator) because it would make the show too dark and sucks out the fun.

The NATLA missed the most basics of narrative storytelling of ATLA. And, thats so sad because I feel like the actors put their all into their roles. Katara’s actress is so Katara-coded irl but the show did her so dirty.

P.s. if you want more ATLA content, please read the comics or the book, the OG cartoon was fine. We don’t need Carbon Copy nostalgia bait.

i think something i didnt appreciate enough until the most recent part is how vital momo is to literally every side of the group in the mekadan. like shes most disconnected from harutaka/ayano simply because she didnt know them very well or at all really until post str but her being involved in the trio + marry’s life significantly is just so so so important to me. her and kido obviously are everything. them soon to be engaged makes me spin around in a circle so joyously it makes me eeeheheheheeee aaa!! like cannot word it. i love them. momo and kano working together too and being kinda besties because of it is also !! so fun! i like that they chat and gossip and clearly are friendly. they make me smile so big and wide i love that they joke around like that and she told him about the proposal and wanted to practice. Momo And Marry Are Best Friends Forever. Anyways. seto and momo havent interacted much i supposed but with momo being so integral to the rest of his family obviously they fuck w each other heavily like i think they have to get along for the sake of momo being everything and amazing. also like? hibiya. hibiya and momo have been through so much stupid shit hand in hand they pack bonded and he hates it. thats his weird aunt/older sister/friend/person he begrudgingly deals with. they have barely any secrets imo. they cant. he sucks at lying and she loves gossiping. they are in hell together. and hiyori… ugh Ugh i love her. i love how no bullshit she is. i love that she is a rock that momo has to push around or just deal with because she needs someone like that. kido can be the thing that pushes momo and keeps her on track with somethings, but hiyori makes sure she sees shit through and i really really enjoy that. idk. this is long and rambly but i just really really love momo and how important she is to the world. hope she continues being her forever <3

I tried to find the tweet conversation between those footybros I read but I couldn’t, but basically these men discussed how lots, or most of these athletes are put in environments where they have to dealt and surrounded by older people since a young age. For example jood, joined both bvb and england senior when he was only around 17, surrounded by lots of teammates in their 20/30s, staff and board member are also full of adults. Or other scenarios where they’re in their early teen surrounded by teammates in their late teen and adult staff etc.

On top of that, they also been dealing with work pressures, professionalism and all those adults things that come with being a professional athlete from a really young age. So it’s just inevitable for these guys to think or feel that they’re already mature or way more mature than their average peers.

Some of them are probably indeed mature for their age, but some of them are also probably having a premature maturity because again, it’s a forced fast-paced process. Thats probably why some of them can be really reckless, acting like an mature adult but sometimes so so childish. And also probably why lots of them don’t realize if they get groomed.

Hence, these footybros believe that’s why they tend to go for older women, and mostly “experienced older women” because they most likely think or feel that older women are more in line with their lifestyle, needs or efficiency I must say. Which I also agreed.

For example a 19/20 yo pro athlete is mostly had taste everything that exist in this world with the amount of money and the lifestyle they have, meanwhile if we’re talking about average 19/20 yo normal girls, we are most likely still dealing with college and education at that age. While we are still busy pursuing and hustling for our dream, education or career, these guys already past all that. And knowing how slow these guys can be, conversations about education and college maybe also don’t intrigue them that much tbh? So these type of different phase of life could be their dealbreaker for same-age/younger girls too imo.

And realistically speaking, taking their schedule into consideration, having older and experienced women is probably the best and easiest way for them since they don’t need to do lot of romances and efforts to keep the relationship alive.

Not all, but lots of these older and experienced women that deal with professional athletes probably don’t demand that high maintenance relationships as long as they get what they want. Meanwhile younger girls especially those in their late teen/early twenties are mostly still see and want the perfect ideal relationship with lots of romance, playfulness, fun or the cheesy things, which will be kinda hard to fulfill with how their schedules work. Like you want an impromptu midnight drive date? They probably already tired of training and have to wake up early for tomorrow match.

I think there will be a lot to unpack if we want to talk about this topic but these theory pretty make sense imo. Thats why when we see same age/younger girls gf with these footballers, it is most likely a middle/high school sweetheart type of thing, or a relationship that already developed before his professional career 🙃

I enjoyed it! I still think Reunion was more fun, but thats probably down to particular tastes in the matter.

I actually really enjoyed the further insight into the servantry at The Palace which i was not expecting to get a look into. Similar to one of my fave aspects of The Bloody Wallpaper, I really just like learning about the day to day operation inside of these places. Also the like... casuality of the cage gardens and people working there made the horror of the place all the more strong. wow

Another thing I found interesting was the theme it, while maybe not introduced here, was the generational aspect when it comes to the themes of trauma with the red honey? The idea of children and a parents affect on them i'd say is just as much the theme of this ES as the trauma/horrors of war aspect are imo - perhaps you could argue they tie in together,

We see it with the in the old nursemaid laundry room,

"Children need love.....' "....They're all still searching for love, you know. One of them calls it romance, another calls it glory, but every one of them is looking in the wrong place. "

This is further brought up when we learn about the contaiminent from years ago (perhaps the bad batch referenced in the gift?) with the hive still troubled from it.

Which i think ties in to the theme pretty directly....

And this all culiminates together with The Princes' memories - his mothers neglect as a child being what leads to his aims as a teen, which leads to the horrorible action in the war, and other gettings hurt, which leads to his own corruption and self pain. Its generational. The hive remembers.

The red honey ties into all of this, and serves as a representation for the way this will consume people. The honey that was given to children to keep them quiet.

While of course adults must be held accountable for the actions they make, we see through this that the palace's children had very, very little say into who they would become....

Which I suppose to say this all ties back around well into my underlying belief of a major them in the whole of the FL - the cycles of abuse and neglect.

All that is to say i have been given some good lore content and further things to think on, and will likely be incorporating the palaces staff and the cage gardens into my fics at some point.

Hey! Its completly fine that you dont like zadr, its really understandable and i can understand your points. But saying zim is a canonical adult isnt really fair since we cant truly take everything Jhonen says as factual canon, he also said that Zim x Gaz wouldve happened if there were to be a canon romance- implying Zim is not in fact an adult. I am totally against adult x minor ships and if Zim were no doubt shown to be an adult or adult-coded character the ship would be unacceptable, though it in reality is very vague and does not have a set canon. I dont ship ZADR either, but theres no need to put those (who are mostly young people) on the same level as bad people like proshippers when the canon itself is very vague.

Ok fine if we disregard what Jhonen says it's STILL a HUGE STRETCH not to consider Zim an adult. He's stated to be over 50 years old in Tak the Hideous New Girl.

If Irkens just age really slowly, that means Dib is going to be an adult while Zim is still a child. Seems like its fucked up either way to me.

The whole point of shunning adult/child ships is that they can be used to groom real children. If zadr can be so easily interpreted as adult/child (see: Zim stated as being over 50 years old), it could be just as easily used for grooming. In this case I really think Zim is read as adult commonly enough that it should be discouraged like a more conclusively adult/child ship.

That said I'm not sending death threats to kids about this and I never will. But it's still important to point out that its potentially dangerous and might be used by predators as a tool of manipulation. IMO that's MORE reason to discourage kids from getting into it, in like a normal and reasonable way.

Also. There's still more within the text of the show that codes Zim as an emotionally immature adult.

The show's core philosophy is less coherent overall if Zim is a child. IZ LOVES making fun of the fact that children are forced to rely on/have their world shaped by adults who can be just as ignorant and petty and stupid as other children are.

Why would the vaguely-aged but clearly-socially-independent and ignorant protagonist be an exception?

The Irkens also become much less of a scathing critique of the childish shortsightedness and stubbornness of fascist fanatacism if he's not an adult. IZ seems like a show that would go out of its way to make fun of a reliance on child soldiers if thats what the Irkens were doing.

i LOVE the way theyve portrayed ambition and drive because on one hand seiji knows he loves this girl but he also knows that he must be successful so as to give her the best life possible. and shizuku doesnt want to ask him to stay because that would be depriving him of his ambition !! AND AND she wants to live out her own dreams just like him!!!! THATS SO GREEN FLAG BRO LIKE OMG?? GOALS

since movies could only be so long, hayao miyazaki couldnt show ALL of their development (at least thats what i like to believe) and their story mightve felt a little too fast paced/rushed but trust me it was 100% pure and very realistic

2. Ocean Waves

Okay now Ocean Waves is controversial... Many people, (and i mean MANY people) hate it for a bunch of different reasons. Mainly cs they think its not a very accurate representation of teenagers and its not "realistic" + "how could taku just straight up follow rikako to TOKYO" + "rikako was abusive" etc etc

BUT heres the thing: this movie was highly misunderstood. LEMME BE CLEAR THO- its not AMAZING or anything but to say it was subpar is an insult to the thought behind it. It is my interpretation that the thought trying to be conveyed here is that teenage!! is!! messy!!!!

youre supposed to make dumb mistakes and do stupid things and follow the wrong people and fall in love with said wrong people because youre still learning how to live!!! Ocean waves might not have been EXTREMELY accurate and even very very confusing (the ending literally left me grasping at straws icl) but thats just what the effect was intended to be XD teenagehood is messy and complicated and confusing for all parties involved. the "fairytale" effect can only take you so far yknow?

3. Only Yesterday

Icl, I loved Only Yesterday for the raw emotion it portrays. I have no idea if Taeko was neurodivergent or not. Imo, it just shows a confusing childhood and the many confusing emotions that come with it as baggage. it shows the struggles of trying to overcome all that you couldnt understand as a kid, and are still trying to understand as an adult- all while navigating a life you were seemingly never prepared for. I relate sm to it, and it just hits so close to home yknow? only yesterday is nostalgic sure, but thats only surface deep. it shows that even when youre an adult, your childhood troubles dont "magically disappear". you take them with you and learn to live with them more as luggage rather than baggage if ygwim

one thing thats wild to me is the insane relief I felt when nobody beat Nat up, like I was fully prepared to see her get her ass kicked in an insane way, so thank goddd.. also Nat and Mari? theres something there for sure I loved seeing them next to each other

also of course it was brutal for Shauna to make her cut Ben up but I was honestly expecting so much worse, like the way she just talked to her normally while telling her how to butcher him and her putting a cloth over Bens face for her.. tell me why that almost made me happy 😭 like I was truly prepared to see the worst happen between those two, so them talking like that was such a relief, I feel like we are in the clear now because obviously they have other shit than interpersonal beef to worry about now..

adult timeline was also better this ep, I still don’t love it but Lisa was such a nice surprise, lovee that they gave her and Misty something, that was cool, also Tai... girl its looking so dark. maybe it would be a bit too obvious for the other Tai to have killed Lottie but its still wild that she met up with her

also really glad to finally see some adult taivan thats not just them being cute!! the horror aspect of Tai being "trapped"(?) inside her own body and the other Tai having taken over and the real Tai asking to be saved? I can get with that, it’s not my ideal taivan arc but still I am glad theyre going in the tragedy direction now and that Van is pushed to make some difficult fucking decisions on her own etc. like even just seeing her refuse the food was a nice start of seeing her push back and be more of her own person

Samantha is kinda underrated imo bc she is doing such lovely work as teen Misty! her line deliveries are always so intense and pointed, her crying always feels real and visceral, idk she deserves her flowers for sure, love everything shes been doing <3 also teen Misty kissing Bens corpse was very moving to me, I think its a beautiful way of showing that she is someone who will never ever be disgusted by the people she cares for, even when that care is one-sided or stronger on her part, that she will love them at their most vile and disgraced, when others have already turned their back, she is a very devoted person and I think its the opposite of nasty that they had her do that, very important moment for her character imo, idk I am always happy when they include elements like that

Yes, healthy minds can easily separate which things are canon which are fanon, which things should stay only in fiction and which are fine to be irl.

I totally get that cuz I also like it better when a ship has some bases we can extract from canon, usually the chemistry and the devotion they show to each other are the most decisive factors for me. I like AUs as well. In that sense, post-canon is also AU cuz they are outside canon-realm. My latest fic about them is modern AU without curses. Tho knowing me, I still linked them with canon so reincarnation AU.

It's totally up to you ofc to stay anon and be discreet about it. Tho imo, doing that may offer you less chances to have fun with it or interact with others who share the same interest. I just happen to be the type who loudly express what I like in whichever form I can manage lol. I'm pretty sure most, if not all, choita shippers are chill adults who can put proper filter in real life between brotherly love and romantic love. We appreciate both choso and yuuji and understand their characters as well. But when there are 2 fictional characters we like, have great chemistry, and look great together when being combined, sometimes we just can't help but ship them don't we? 😂 especially in a work that has no room for romance like shounen. It's also not helping that Choso's character is shaped to only have eyes and heart for his little brothers and was even officially declared to love his little brothers more than anything. LOL

Fiction is meant for entertainment and fictional chara are meant to be molded the way we want so as long as it doesn't harm yourself or real people then just like whatever you like and do whatever pleases you. It's that simple, so you definitely don't have to 'admit' or being made to feel like you will be judged and thus need to explain yourself :)

wait hol' up i gotta hear those Bobo Thoughts. hes such a fascinating character and the way he was used was so all over the place (like straight up vanishing when it was Serious Episode Time lmao) but,, thats Rex's friend! weird uncle? Moral compass but pointing the wrong way?? Always had such mixed feelings about his writing

Bobo is like. The thing about Bobo is he's such a good fucking character potential. I said most of my thoughts in this reply so I don't really have much more to say besides Wow they really did just make the potential for a really interesting character and blew it for jokes about harassing women. There was so much THERE where he COULD be funny while still being a serious character - plenty of the time Rex is silly and goofy while still being a serious character.

Exposed imo is one of, if not the best Bobo episode for the simple fact that he was actually a funny comedy relief character while still being Bobo, actually. It didn't really dive into him as a character, but he did have some pretty good lines ("That cage was electromagnetically sealed" "I didn't say it was easy" got a chuckle out of me, as well as "Are you going to just stand there and talk or help me?" "Talk.")

But also in my rewrite of Bobo, he's...well, he trusts in Rex's abilities, and he knows at the end of the day he doesn't really have superpowers or healing like the kid, but he's way more concerned for him. He notices how Rex makes jokes when he's stressed and makes jokes with him, to help ease tensions and get Rex to crack a smile when things are tough. He sits with the kid and talks because he knows he's also an adult, but he knows he's easier for Rex to relate to than other soldiers at base. Even with as much as Holiday and Six love Rex and are there for them, they're still in positions of authority over him - Bobo, meanwhile, is another EVO, who knows he can talk to Rex about how much it sucks not to have people like them. I don't have the link on hand but I remember in @bambeptin's interview where the show creators mentioned how Bobo was like a weird uncle, and I think they should've played into that dynamic more. Bobo encouraging Rex to be reckless and sneak out and see what he can get away with when his parents and Providence aren't looking.

Also, the show just kind of...forgets that Bobo made Robobobo and I think that'd be fun to play with. Bobo surprising everyone with how smart he is, all the skills he picked up over his time doing crime on the streets that Rex doesn't remember/know about. He could've contributed to the team so much in S3 by being the guy who knows how to break into places without hurting or killing people (like Six and WK know), occasionally peeking at Holiday's work and pointing something out bc she's an overthinker (all the adults in the Providence Fam in S3 kind of are in their own ways) and he goes at things to try to find the easiest solution. Hell, even have jokes about him being surprisingly smart - have characters talk about something super complex and Bobo surprises everyone by understanding it. Have everyone getting ready to kick down a door and have Bobo say "And here I thought I was the animal" or some joke like that and pick the lock. Hell, have him try to open a door and see that it's unlocked while everyone's prepping to kick it in.

Have Bobo be just...a smart and logical guy and have that be the joke. He looks ridiculous, constantly makes jokes and acts dumb, but reminders that he IS smart can be funny, and him being cheeky can be funny! Hell, the show kind of hinted at potential but never went through but Bobo and Six having a rivalry bc they both think the other is bad for Rex at first (and have a history of clashing that we see in Promises Promises) could be VERY funny! Especially because it would pair Six's very blunt personality with Bobo's ridiculousness and refusal to act seriously. There's potential there but they just...went for easy jokes and it's a shame, because Bobo had so much potential to be great.

For me at least I ship Karlach and Astarion the most because I think it creates an interesting dichotomy for both of them other ships dont get.

Astarion whose used to being sexual to get people to like him and doesnt know another way is forced to step back because he cant jump straight into seductive vampire persona with Karlach

Karlach whose touch starved as hell and is in the worst dry spell is with someone who shows a clear interest in her but she cant interact on that level with. Her already being a character who wants a physical bond but has to gain a purely emotional one first

Theyre a ship where their individual issues with intimacy (physical and emotional) have an interesting mesh I think you dont get as much in Lae'zel

Interesting! I personally don't get it but again, I think shipping Karlach and Astarion is totally fine; The Whole Camp Polycule is great fun to me and I think the dynamics between every character individually are interesting. All I was saying was 16% vs 3% between Astarion vs Lae'zel is Telling imo because Lae'zel and Karlach make a lot of sense to me.

That said, my thoughts on Karlach/Astarion:

Karlach being as touch starved and sexually potent as she is makes her one of the least suited characters for Astarion in my mind. Obviously that tension is Interesting, but I think it'd get in the way ultimately. Obviously Karlach isn't going to be weird about having sex, you can play her romance nonsexually and shes very sweet, but shes still very eager and a little (ok, a lot) desperate, which is understandable. Karlach is living on limited time and wants to indulge in things barred from her for all of her adult life to the fullest while she can. Either way they could just be poly so thats not really a problem! I guess what I'm actually saying is I personally don't find sexual restraint something interesting for Karlach's character. I think it'd be kind of tragic tbh.

Karlach pretty much has to build a purely emotional bond first with Anyone shes seeing because of the engine needing to be fixed. Its something she can remark on as a change in her usual dating if you romance her. Which suits what you said, but also isn't something I see as unique with Astarion.

There is one thing I do see as an interesting, unique dynamic between Karlach and Astarion. Karlach is romantically delayed; shes basically emotionally a teenager with dating and shes playing catch up as quick as she can with what time she has. That makes her kind of gullible and earnest and quick to fall, but also aware of that, and therefore prone to shame about this stuff. Shes pretty sensitive, especially about rejection and feeling like shes special to someone.

Meanwhile, Astarion is JADED jaded, and heavily traumatised. He has layers of self protective coping strats, hes guarded, hes cold, hes unlearning a lot of shit, hes learning how to have agency of his own body while its actively invaded by a parasite. Dudes going through it! And I Do think that stark difference could be interesting. Karlach has a lightness and excitement that Astarion wouldn't have experienced in like, 200 years. Their opposite deals would bring a lot of tension, possible healing, hot vs cold, ect ect.

But ultimately, in my mind, I think Astarion would find Karlach needy and too sweet, and he'd hate that, and I think Karlach wouldn't feel very reassured by Astarion because of his flippant, glib ways. I think they'd lose patience with each other, and they'd find a romantic relationship pretty emotionally tumultuous. They wouldn't meet a lot of each others specific needs very well. But hey, thats what poly is for

So Lupin the Third:

This is an Adult series written specifically for Adults. It's crude, sexual, and violent. It is also complex and heartwarming and MOST OF ALL: IT'S HILARIOUS

Lupin III has the slapstick flirty hilarity that original Loony Tunes has but for more adult audiences. Lupin definitely has a joy of life and mischievous Buggs Bunny energy to him.

Arsene Lupin III is the third of a line of master thieves. This manga from the 60's (technically ongoing) and anime from the 80's is (very very very very loosely) based off of the french Arsene Lupin stories where Famous detective Herlock Sholmes chases after the titular master theif who bests Herlock on many occasions. (Originally it was Arsene Lupin v Sherlock Holmes but that was a very early and famous case of IP/Copyright and his name was changed).

Lupin's partners Jigen Daisuke (half Italian and half Japanese raised in NY half his life) and Goemon Ishikawa XIII (descended from a Samurai theif from IRL history) work with him to pull off incredible capers.

Goemon is a master swordsman with yakuza history and Jigen is a master marksman with mob history.

Lupin is in love with Fujiko Mine another master theif (imo) who is the femme Fatale of the series. She's sometimes a member of the gang and sometimes not. Lupin will do almost anything to get into her pants and she uses that to her advantage regularly to manipulate him into stealing things for her. She's sort of similar to Nami from One Piece in a lot of ways.

Zenigata is the intrepid Inspector/Detective thats chasing after our titular theif and his gang. He's a lot like Gumshoe from Ace Attorney. He's sweet, and deeply cares about Justice and Lupin is his Arch Rival. His luck is terrible and his pay is low but the people that love him are very loyal. He will chase Lupin to the ends of the earth. He's a major comic relief character even in the more serious entries.

Hayao Miyazaki worked on Lupin III in the second half of the first arch Green Jacket and the movie Castle of Cagliostro was his first big movie break. They're beautiful to watch and very heartwarming and he had a lasting effect on the media canon.

A lot of this information will be repeated in the video essays I'm about to reccomend but honestly she'll do a WAAAAY better job of singing this series praises than I will.

She goes over good places to start in the video but if you want a small taste : Lupin the 3rd The First is on Netflix I believe. It'll give you an idea of what the characters are generally like.

Some of the series is on TMJ's official YouTube. They actually put a lot of their stuff on their channel for free. Not just Lupin stuff.

My favorite arch is Red Jacket the second arch but I watched Red Jacket for the first time back in the mid to late 00's so it'll always have a special place in my heart. ❤

If you like funny cops vs robbers type storylines and like a lot of the tropes of detective or heist media I think you'd like it. It's a very fun watch.

It's infinitely memeable and there's a ton of hilarious shorts compilations and soundbites floating around the internet.

The music is fantastic btw. There's compilations on youtube thst are like an hour or more in length under funny names that reference memes and they're nice to listen to while doing housework. -It's a beautiful morning and you're a Terrible Theif- or -A five minute egg cooks in 5 minutes- etc.

Bonus: As a series for adults with adult characters it will appeal to Middle Aged Men Enthusiasts so even if that's all anyone takes out of it I've still done my job promoting it. o7

Digimon Partner: Princess

HIii So I thought I would do a follow up to Abayomis Digimon partner thing for me. Mine will be a bit simpler though, but to explain why lets start with our Rookie: ROOKIE/CHILD: V-mon

So I did consider two digimon, V-mon and Dracomon. And it was a really close call. But I ultimately went with V-mon because it seems a bit more kobold like, plus I could make use of some of its canonical digivolution lines for potential alternates. Soo thats that. I'll just be using this custom line. Which does include one canonical diguvolution...

CHAMPION/ADULT: Honeybeemon

Honeybeemon is a canonical Armor digivolution option for V-mon, it's cute and bug themed and I love bugs. It also carries some of visual elements with the little teeth and blue skin. Each stage in this digivolution at least borrows something from the previous stage. ULTIMATE/PERFECT: Piccolomon

Picollomon carries over the winged elements, and Honeybeemons eyes. Picollomon is the stage I am the least sure of, but I think it overs a nice bridge between the previous stages and the mega/ultimate evolution. It's also just a striaght up cutie still -3- MEGA/ULTIMATE: Holydramon

Holydramon bring the pink fluffiness of Picollomon with the draconic qualities of V-mon. There is not much for Honeybeemon to be represented here, but thats ok. IMO a Digivolution line doesn't need to be 100% cohesive to be satisfying as long as there is some or visual connection from each stage to the next. Also going from a blue scalie dragon to a pink fluffy one is fun and cute!! Some other connection is that every stage here is a part of the Wind Guardians group of digimon.
