*All she could think about was last night.. Well, actually just Francis. She didn’t realise it, but she made a small puddle on the floor, she was shouted at by a co worker and was in the process of drying it..*

*As Francis made his usual delivery to the diner, he spotted Nacha, cleaning up. He places the milk crate in the kitchen and went over to Nacha’s side. He gave her more paper towels.*

//ok for this ask, I came up with two different answers for this one depending on the different routes. So I’ll go with the routes where Francis is all alone and the routes where Francis is married to Nacha. Two for one special for you anon//

Post break up route:

Nothing. I’m still busy during this time of the year. And I don’t celebrate Christmas anymore. There’s no point in celebrating if there’s nothing to be happy about. Everything is so meaningless.

*leers at his neighbours who’re having a good Christmas together when he’s all alone*

And it’s annoying how everyone’s so cheerful during the holidays. How the heck is everyone so happy during this month? It sickens me.

Watching paint dry would be better than listening to those god awful Christmas songs.

Marriage routes:

Mmm, I still have work as always. *sighs* I hardly get a break especially during this time of year. It’s not much of a difference really.

I spent my last Christmases alone but this time, I can spend the holidays with my family. I get to come home to a delicious feast my lovely wife cooked for us. She always makes the best meals. But during the holidays, it’s more special. That roast turkey of hers is something to look forward to. She and Ana also want to build a gingerbread house together. Now, I don’t see the point in doing this kind of trivial activity but spending more time with my family makes it all worth it for them.

If the snow isn’t too heavy, we’ll have a small outing where we all walk in the snow for hours together. Just like how my mother used to spend Christmas with me. Back when I was still a happy child with her. Nowadays, I don’t understand the all the fuss about being jolly and merry. Frankly, believing in the holiday spirit is so silly to me.

But being close to the people you love the most is what makes Christmas more tolerable. It means that I’m not alone anymore. And I get to be happy with my wife and daughter by my side. It’s something I’ll remember fondly with them for years to come.
