A recent hc of mine is that in Sirius’s early Hogwarts years, he had a Muggleborn roommate. Sirius and this roommate just did not mesh at all, they had wildly different personalities and clashed almost every day. One day, Sirius was complaining to Bellatrix about this, who’d already graduated and was already one of the best Death Eaters around. Sirius hadn’t had his falling out with his family yet and everyone was mostly regarding his friendships with the Marauders (a blood traitor and two half bloods) as an act of rebellion, and his complaining about this other roommate was seen as a really good sign by his family. Bella, as a gift to her baby cousin (who I actually imagine she had a pretty good relationship with until it became undeniable what Sirius believed), murdered this roommate and their entire family. This is also the war’s first public murder of a Muggleborn and their family, so Sirius is indirectly part of why the war truly kicked off; Sirius didn’t initially realize who killed his roommate or why, but he does find out in his later years, perhaps by a baby Death Eater throwing it in his face (“you think you’re so much better than us, but it’s not forget, the only roommate you couldn’t accept was a Mudblood you complained incessantly about. You’re the reason he and his family died. You hated them so they were removed from your life”). Sirius never forgives himself for this

The whole "biblically accurate angel" thing is funny but not quite true. There are multiple types of angels and both BAA and men with wings are, in fact, accurate. Creatures of rings wings eyes and fire are closer to God types, while men with wings are closer to Earth and are used to communicate with humans. Sadly, "Be not afraid" doesn't make sence again

I sat down and did the math (and used an income tax calculator) to see how much extra money I'm bringing in with my second job in order to make ends meet and ultimately see what all my money would look like if it was a single job.

I would need a job to pay me $21.73 an hour to be in the same place I am now, without having to work an extra 32 hours a month.

I'm making $19.50/hr here.

For just Two Dollars and Twenty-Three cents more, I could actually have so much of my free time back.

I haven't been given a raise in 2 years.

For just One Dollar and Eleven cents added per year I wouldn't have to be working so hard.
