doing two in one bc it's technically wednesday already idc lol - started a new wip I mentioned before (inspired by this video lol) and rn I'm rewriting what I wrote yesterday bc the past two days words were not wording and I hated everything I wrote, but I think I'm happy with it now haha I hope I'll manage to write it like I want to bc it's sooo good in my head istg haha

It started as a random idea, more like a throwaway thought, really. Tommy was just checking the weather for the next few days – his hot pilot boyfriend always likes to be prepared – while they were hanging out, and he casually mentioned that “it’s gonna be nice on Saturday, perfect barbecue weather,” which got Buck to mention how they often have family barbecues at Bobby and Athena’s. Somehow, the conversation spiraled, and Buck’s not sure who threw out a more concrete idea, but here they are now, standing side by side in Tommy’s kitchen, preparing food – Buck’s currently slicing veggies for a salad, while Tommy takes care of the meat – for the barbecue where they invited way too many people than Tommy’s backyard can probably fit. It really is nice weather, the sliding door leading from the kitchen to the backyard open and letting in warm sunshine and a soft breeze that makes the air feel cooler. They work in pleasant silence, the only sound is quiet music playing from the speaker, and Buck can’t help a fond smile when he hears his boyfriend hum along, so off-key Buck’s not sure he even knows the song, but it’s still adorable.

The silence is disrupted by the doorbell ringing, and before Tommy can even move, Buck is dropping the knife on the cutting board, wiping his hands, and sprinting towards the door, shouting an “I got it!” over his shoulder. He’s followed by an echo of Tommy’s fondly amused chuckles. So he’s a little excited, sue him – they haven’t had a family day like this in a while, and there was only one he brought Tommy to, all of their schedules not so easy to align. And today his whole family will be here, including their spouses and children, and Tommy invited a couple of his friends and their families, too, and it’ll be just a big, loud, chaotic get-together that he’s hosting with his boyfriend. Buck never hosted one of these before, and he’s really enjoying it so far, and he just wants everyone to have fun.

you get to pet koromaru in P3R and the motion for it is really good.. you can tell the MC has a thing for dogs. He pets koromaru VERY well with all the skills and love. It's a short shot, but I loved seeing that!

Rhinedottir brainrot,,,, So I like a few different headcanons but one that I will live and die by is the idea that Zandik the scholar was inspired by Gold Rhinedottir. He was a student at the Akademia who studied Khaenri'ahn machinery. He wants to force the divine to be equal with humanity, and he is willing to commit insane acts in medicine and alchemy to give humans the same power as a god. Rhinedottir's motives are unclear, but it can be safely estimated that she only cares about the nature of her work. She calls herself a mother, and she also immediately leaves once she has the relic that she was hoping for (the heart of naberius; which is unclear). I think that it would be insanely interesting to have Dottore who was inspired by and admires Rhinedottir in game, because it would add a new layer to the Scaramouche-Albedo comparisons and also allow us to say that there is someone better than Dottore at what he does so he's not as great as he holds himself to be.

Sev'Rance Tann, I adore you greatly and I so desperately wish you were allowed to be more than an antagonist for the OC Jedi character of the developers of Age of Empires.

For those unaware, this is Sev'Rance Tann, a Dark Side Adept trained by Count Dooku who served as the overall Supreme Commander of the CIS forces before Grievous, and who only lasted about a month because she had to be killed off by the end of the second campaign. She was introduced in the expansion pack Clone Campaigns for the video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, a real-time strategy game made by the same people who created the Age of Empires series and built on the same engine as Age of Empires II, the game they had most recently released. The base game came out in 2001, and so by 2002 they had an expansion pack ready to tie into Attack of the Clones. The two campaigns added are for the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, perhaps unsurprisingly. The Confederacy campaign follows Sev'Rance Tann, while the Republic campaign follows Echuu Shen-Jon, a Jedi previously shown in the Rebel campaign for the original game as a survivor of Order 66 (though not yet called that at the time, it was only 2001 after all). In the course of the campaigns she wins victory after victory before finally losing a lightsaber duel with Echuu after he gives in to the Dark Side to kill her out of rage and revenge for killing his Padawan and kidnapping his new Padawan (who were brother and sister).

One of the sourcebooks, I think the New Chronology, establishes that she had a lover, Vandalor, who was a recurring boss in Star Wars: The New Droid Army, a Game Boy Advanced game that also has Anakin defeat Dooku and seemingly kill him (but this was later retconned to be a weird force doppelganger thing, thanks Abel). I personally don't like this connection, it feels weird to me, but also that may be because I am gay for this woman and I don't want her to be dating some guy who's a miniboss from a Game Boy Advanced AotC tie-in game.

Anyway in Legends Sev'Rance is one of the few Chiss to leave Chiss Space, is an accomplished commander and an at least decent user of the Force and the lightsaber, and it's a shame we never got to use her in anything else. I fully understand that her role got fulfilled by various other characters going forward (Sora Bulq, General Grievous and Asajj Ventress all fulfilling different aspects of her character as shown in the game) but I still think she's interesting and I wish we could have had her be used in something else too, or at least a more interesting death.

hi anonnie! there are several factors that contribute to how i got his myth pair, rank 3 (r3), and now awakened.

first and foremost, being completely honest and transparent, i swiped - i have a full time job and work overtime every now and then, and i choose to invest in the game and will put any money i can spare to the side to accumulate and spend it whenever rafayel has new cards - i also buy the aurum pass and heartfelt vow.

tbf, if it weren't for the heartfelt event where we got diamonds in the mail, i wouldn't have been able to save enough for maybe 20-30 pulls before swiping.

now for obtaining the cards - i got the packs they provided in the shop because i genuinely believe they're a lot better than topping up and converting the purple diamonds. not only do you get golden wishes, you also get other items such as the level up materials like the SR and SSR crystal crates for ascension, exp sands, etc.

i saved up the crates for cards i want to ascend passed 50, 60 and 70. rafayel's god of the tides myth pair is legit the only set of cards that i have fully maxed all around. the packs also provided energy cans which helped me run heartbreaker and mr beanie to get the exp sands and money to level up the cards (absolutely painful with how little the drops are for purple sands).

as for the awakened, i would collect them from past events and just let them sit there. i never had the desire to awaken my cards, i legit had been pushing senior hunter contest with cards 70 and under in each section (rafaye, xavier and zayne) - all purely rafayel as, while i know the game is meant for us to build all three love interests, i only focus on him.
