Anyway after my last post I am going to continue to be cringe on main and talk about my fanfic

(Fanfic isn’t cringe and neither are you interests. It is me specifically who is cringe. Don’t question my logic.)

Anyway so I been working on a Descendants fic series for a while now. Originally it was supposed to be a one shot. Then it turned into a series that was supposed to have basically 3 main stories (re-writes of the 3 movies) with some extra supplementary stories.

The 3 stories we’re supposed to be like, 150k words MAX. I was expecting closer to 80k for all three. The shortest of the 3 was supposed to be the first, bc it was pretty similar to the original movie, while the 2nd and 3rd were supposed to be like totally different plot-wise.

When I originally started the series I mapped out all 3 parts and did a ton of plotting for themes and character arcs. For fanfic. Bc I’m insane.

It has been 3 years. The first of the 3 main fics is over 70k words. It is not even close to being done.

The other day I tried to finish the misshapen notes I call the draft of the next chapters. Instead i spent 2 hours re-analyzing the characters and their motivations and how well I expressed them originally.

So now I wanna go back and edit the beginning. Instead of just finishing the end. Because I don’t think I expressed the motivations well enough in the first part of the fic. When I wrote it 3 years ago. I still have 2 entire movie re-writes planned out.

I think I need to be stopped. Someone please cut my internet.
