Do you like 40k or just WH Fantasy? (I haven't been around long sorry if the answer should be obvious)

40k seems cool I just don’t know most of the lore and I refuse to learn because it’s funnier being a fake 40k fan. Also I don’t have any interest in space marines and that’s a big part of 40k. I’ve read most of the Gaunt’s Ghosts books and I was hoping Darktide would get me more into 40k but it just doesn’t have Vermintide’s charm ☹️ I’ll probably play the Rogue Trader game at some point ( but I feel bad because I haven’t finished wotr yet)

Ok I do not watch IWTV (yet, it’s gonna suck me in) and I’ve really only seen the fallout from the swiftie stuff but here is as best as I understand it: the third season of the IWTV show is going to follow the storyline of Lestat becoming a famous rock star so for promo they released a (fictional, obviously) video of Lestat being interviewed for a documentary about his rise to fame and it gradually becomes more unhinged and somebody took screenshots of that video and juxtaposed it with stills from the blank space music video and they were like “oooh look he’s just like Taylor swift lol” and some twitter swiftie took genuine offense to this for some reason and quote retweeted them saying something like “your ugly man will never be the star Taylor is” and I am not sure if they knew Lestat is a fictional character or if they thought this was some random European rock star but regardless there was a bit of a Stan war and from my POV a lot of it was IWTV fans yelling at swifties for daring to be fans of both Taylor and this show. Probably some of it was twitter swifties being weird though because twitter swifties are strange. However mostly I think it’s died down now and has devolved into people making up AUs of what would happen if Taylor Swift and Lestat de Lioncourt actually WERE rivals in the modern music industry which I actually think is a very fun pastime and if fanfic exists I would read it. Only if it’s good fanfic though. And that’s what you missed on Glee.

Amazon is and has been investing in Israel since 2014. Specifically/mainly prevailing to surveillance (like the AI tech)

And many people (including one of the Duffers I think?) in Stranger Things verbally support Israel. (Though other stuff on Netflix is definitely Pro-Palestinian. So it’s just those guys to my knowledge.)

Unfortunately that’s all I know. Mainly, I get my info on what to boycott from the BDS website so I don’t usually know specific people/executives
