Something I think would be interesting is if Macaque was alot meaner when training Mk.

For context: I'm not the biggest fan of Macaque mentoring Mk. I think Macaque would have to go through more character development and apologize to EVERYONE like 15 times before he should ever train Mk.

You know how Wukong is more laid back? Like he obviously trains Mk and is good at it but he's more chill.

I like the idea that Macaque goes SO MUCH harder. More physical combat and very little breaks.

2. Honestly he's just getting anger out. Not specifically at at Mk, he just gets angry sometimes and training helps him.

Wukong would probably sit on the side to make sure Macaque doesn't go to hard. Also cause he wouldn't trust Macaque training Mk at first.

Bonus: monkeys use their strength to make themselves more attractive to mates. I think I'd be funny if Macaque thought that he was being so cool and attractive by beating Mk in training. Wukong is not impressed.

You sat on a large boulder sitting in the middle of a shallow brook, dipping your legs in as an attempt to try and escape the heat of the day. Even from under the shade of the willow tree from above, the heat and humidity was still oppressive. And the chirping of cicadas only underscored the fact. And sitting on the boulder just a few centimetres away was Azul, pant legs rolled up to his knees and his legs in the water as well, trying to cool off as well.

The two of you had arranged a day to hang out, since the Coral Sea isn’t really the most hospitable place for anyone without fins or gills. So Azul had agreed to set aside some time in his schedule so that he could spend some time with you, and this time there was no Grim or nosey Leech twins to interrupt you. But why, why did today have to be so insufferably hot.

“Why couldn’t we go someplace cooler,” he groaned, pushing his hair out of his face. “Somewhere with… air conditioning?” At least the water was cold, which helped break the heat a little bit. Plus the shade from the willow tree kept the harshness of the midday sun at bay.

You flicked some water at him, and chortled at the dirty look he gave you. “Just wanted to check this out, see where it led,” you say in a chipper tone. You slipped down the boulder a bit, getting further into the water. The brook was shallow, only reaching about mid-calf.

Your hand brushed against Azul’s and he could have sworn it felt like an electric shock rather than a soft caress. “It led to a tree and some rocks,” he sighed.

You hummed, splashing a bit in the water as the stark coldness of the brook was finally breaking the sticky heat. “Well I think it led to an opportunity.”

“For what?” He didn’t really want to say it, but today, other than the Sevens forsaken heat, was nice. The two of you had just walked together, and had some nice conversations that melted into each other seamlessly.

A mischievous smile spread across your face and you splashed Azul in the face. “For that,” you laugh.

Azul spat out water, and the faintest bit of ink, blue flushing his cheeks. But his brief flash of anger mixed with embarrassment of being bested faded just as quickly as it had arisen. You looked so happy, sitting in the brook with the swaying branches of willows behind you. And Azul felt a lump form in his throat. They look… ethereal.

You noticed him staring and waved a hand in front of his face. “Helloooo,” you called, “ear- erm, Twisted Wonderland to Azul? You good?”

“YES,” he sputtered, getting up from the boulder and trying to get back to the banks of the brook. “I am perfectly fine, Prefect!” But the slight crack in his voice betrayed him. He was very much not okay, no. Why did he feel like there were butterflies in his stomach? Why did he feel weird around you? Why do you make me feel like this? Like a fish out of water?

You got up and followed him, a few paces behind. “I can tell when you’re lying, you know? Come on Azul, be honest with me. We’re friends after all.”

We’re friends after all. That line, why did it hurt so much? “I’m not lying,” he could feel you behind him, but he dared not to look back.

“Now you’re just lying to yourself,” you huff. “Come on, Azul, just say it.”

“Say what?!” He turned around and looked at you. The dappled light, and glittering water behind you only made the lump in his throat grow even more. “That I love you-” He snapped his mouth shut and held his breath.

That I love you. That’s what the feeling was. Love.

Your eyes widened, and you opened and closed your mouth, trying to decide what to say. “Well,” you say softly, “I love you too, Azul. I have for a while now.”

And who would have guessed that seeing where the brook led would lead to this. Two friends confessing that there was indeed something more between them.

@crinklytinfoil 's Series The Best Laid Plans of Crewmates and Imposters has been carrying my mental state(Funny considering how dark and fucked it gets) for the past few months so it was only natural for me to make some more, finally getting out those little scenes in my head on to something.

I know that the uniforms should all be the same but I just couldn't help myself! I just couldn't get the idea that the Emancipator and Parmenides gets special uniforms out if my head, like Parmenides is a special base/mission thing so they get some bulkier, more insulating outfits and the Emancipator is like the best Gaurdien Ship in Mira so they get the cool fancy outfits to signify how important they are. Kinda backwards but I designed the standared Mira suits(Browns) last so I already ran out unique uniform suloetes which is why its skin tight, not what I would typically give to them but the Parmenides ones where already what I would tyically give to an astronaut or whatever but I thought they looked too cool for your average crewmate and Mira sucks so they get the dumb skinsuits. Don't ask why the fancier uniforms are monocolor and basic ones have grey accents, I needed something to make it more intresting.

So I drew this like a month ago and I kinda hate it but also still like it. I figured I may aswell show it since I did work hard on it. This was atcually drawn traditionally, like I inked it and then edited a photo so I could add the colors digitally which is why its a little more janky than the first doodles and theres ink everywhere. I love Yellow so much, that pose made all the bs I delt with with the ink worth it. Also if you hadn't noticed Dani's design is different, yah I made this a month ago and only realiseds like two days ago that Dani was described with black locs not brown curls! Wish it didn't take me that long to realise that becuse locs are SOOO much eaiser to draw than curls, esspecially shorts curls I hate them so much! Atcually I hate drawing short hair in general, this has been a somewhat tourturous experince for me!

I love this doodle so much, it the only one i have of any one with their helmets on and thats kinda a shame becuse I feel like geting rid of the face makes me give them more expressive body language. I've been struggling to make the helmets with the other uniforms look good so thats probly why. The Parmenides uniform have that tall neck that connects the head to the body better but the other two are having this odd bobblehead(heh) effect. I need to experiment more with it.

🙊 SPEAK-NO-EVIL - what is something your oc will refuse to stay quiet about?

I thought about this one for a little bit because there isn't a whole lot Colin is outspoken about!! He's definitely the type to hold onto grudges and plan out some type of revenge rather then acting immediately. I think the types of things that would get an immediate reaction from him would be in situations where he's being made fun of or mocked, if it's in a public setting or if the person mocking him is stronger then him/he would be at a disadvantage he'd probably be less likely to get outspokenly mad, but if it's in a situation where HE'S the more powerful party ( like if he has Mc restrained or smth ) he's much more likely to freak out/abuse the fact that he's in control.

In terms of less dramatic situations- (even though he's VERY SOCIALLY AWKWARD) he usually always compliments people's more 'out there' or unique outfits! Expressing one's self though aesthetics and clothing is something that Colin values a LOT!! He's very passionate about others being able to wear what they want so when he's out in public and sees someone wearing some cool clothing he can't help but compliment that person's outfit!!

🙉 HEAR-NO-EVIL - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone?

The worst thing Colin could hear would PROBABLY BE LIKE .. THE TRUTH LOLLLLLL. He spends all of his time constantly trying to avoid the fact that he's not living in some magical fantasy world so if someone were to try and give him a wake up call like "Colin ur a grown man go to work. Magic is not real man" it would feel like getting hit by electricity to him GAGA.

Another thing he hates is someone making fun of him,,which is kinda given I think LOL. I don't really think anyone likes getting mocked but it's an especially sore subject for Colin considering his past with it. It's definitely the root of why he became such a shut in and got so obsessive about fiction in the first place.

The WORST possible thing I think he could hear though would be someone he likes or even loves rejecting him in some way. He has never really had anyone close to him so if someone were to reject his feelings of love or friendship he might spiral GHGH.

🌱 SEEDLING - what is their most vivid memory from childhood?

Haha tbh all of his most vivid memories of childhood are pretty negative! GRAGHSHV😭, He sees his time in middle-highschool as the worst times in his life. He was picked on quite alot when in school which is the source of almost all of his pent up anger issues ghghgh.

The one instance in particular that probably sticks out to him the most was the one time he was atcually physically attacked by the people picking on him ( he DID start the physical altercation and Colin is aware of that to an extent but it's still a very sore spot for him, the incident really marked the turning point for him becoming a complete shut in ) I wrote a really bad run down of what happened on his toyhouse but I'll just paste it here for context sake LOL: The most traumatic incident came in his first year of high school, Colin was walking home from school when a few people came up to him doing that friendly mockery he hated so much, when one of the boys jokingly tried to put his arm around Colin's shoulder proclaiming that 'him and Colin were bffs' Colin's temper snapped and he pathetically lunged at the boy with a pocket knife, the boy very easily doged the knife and punched Colin in the gut in retaliation. The other members of the group were obviously enraged that Colin had tried to stab their friend so it turned into Colin just getting beat up, after this Colin's obsession with fiction and the internet intensified dramatically.

Through the trees-a short story.

"Come with me" she said with a smile. Her bright red lipstick contrasted her pale skin and lang blonde hair beautifully. She was gorgeous. She grabs my hand and pulls me into the thick trees behind the small blue cabin I call home.

"All right, all right, I'm coming" I say in a fake sort of resetnce, she knows I'd fallow her any where.

"Well wouldn't you want to know? Little Miss impatient today arent we."

"I would like it to go on record I'm two riches taller than you... so if anyone is little it's you and yes I would loove to know because of you didn't notice its snowing."

"We would get there faster if someone would stop asking questions, and walked faster."

I smile and put my hands up in a "I surrender" pose and say

She smiles and takes my hand till we get to a tiny clump of tress, the little blue cabin Is completely out of site now. She turns around and smiles. As she smiles she bites her lower lip gently.

"Ohh, so that's what you wanted me out here for?" I smile and pull her closer to me. I but my hands on her hips, and she places her arms on my shoulders. She leans closer tonmy face till our noses are touching. I can smell her breath, she was chewing cinnamon gum before this.

"You know," I say. "If I kiss you now I'll mess up your lip stick."

"You know," she says "shut up" I smile and press my lips against hers. Shes soft and warm and I've missed the feeling of being close to her like this. Its cold around us but the closeness of her body keeps me warm.

I keep my eyes glued on the cabin the quicker we get there the quicker she'll feel better.

The blue cabin is getting closer and closer, it's so close just a few more seconds then well be walking up the front porch. I smile every thing is fine we made it. But my positive is quickly shot down. When and ear wrenching scream leaves terras throat. I turn around to look at her and to figure out why the helk she screamed. But then I see it. A baby deers tiny body lying on the ground, with two bullet wounds in his side. He holds his head up to try and find the source of the loud sound. Terra lets go of my hand and runs over too it tears streaming down her beautiful face. She plops her self next to him and screams

"Call Dr. Jonss " Tears streaming down her red cheeks Dr. Jones is the vet Terra is doing her internship ship with before she goes to vet school and becomes some super cool pet doctor

I take my phone out of my pocket withe my shaking cold hands, I do my best to type Dr. Jones's name into my phone quickly.

We just sit. The Doe's head dosent stay looking up long soon we just watch his chest slowly stop rising and falling She scoots closer and puts her head on my shoulder. Then She breaks the cold silence by saying

" I wish we could have done something, but Vets cant legally touch wild animals, and I couldn't have saved him, you couldn't have saved him..." her voice breaks and she starts crying again

"Hey, hey, hey. He didn't die alone, and that's what matters. His life was shortened bye some ass whole with a gun, but a least he didn't suffer alone." She cried harder.

"Why don't we go inside? Get out of the cold? I have hot chocolate."

"You can if you want i want to stay out here with him."

"I'll go in when you're ready."

We sit in silence my arm wrapped around her, her head on my shoulder and the bloody body of the small doe that lost his life today. We sit like this for only a few more minutes. Then we go back inside. We go back to the normal world, the world where people, kill people and ignore every cry for help just to save some face.

Smart bad guys

One day I would like to see the bad guys in a modern day setting that has a fantasy theme to it, example immortal instruments, and remember that there are these called guns they can get. Not advocating for guns I’m just saying let the bad guys ,be they human or others wise, be bad guys and cheat. Just imagine the main protagonists who have all training in hand to combat you can get having to deal with atcually armed bad guys. Another cool thing to see would be they bad guys having good aim. So if the hero does run there’s a good chance they will be shot at least in the leg. Basically, enough with storm trooper shooting and give us bad guys who know how to aim.

C A R O L A   K A S T M A N 

Was really enjoyable working on larger scale works, and also a nice textured surface. I initially thought the painting on the white onto the newspaper would look really wierd, but atcually I really like how it brings the background together whilst providing a cool texture. My drawings are less abstract than Kastman’s, but I experimented with some of the different mark making techniques she uses to render them. I also like how ripping at the newspaper reveals the cardboard as a contrasting colour underneath. I think I want to work into the two person piece further though.

I just found your account and your hc and takes on the characters are SO GOOD, specially love those about wukong and his relationships with other characters like the brotherhood, and macaque cuz, the fandom some reason treat him a lot out of character to me.
