I feel bad that poor Belphie still has to be trapped in my office - the 2 weeks are up, so by all rights he should be free! unfortunately with Pangur being sick, his presence would be too stressful, so he has one more week of being stuck in that room.

to keep him entertained, I did let him have house access this morning while me and Pangur read on the catio. Grim chose to stay inside with the kitten (despite acting grumpy about it).

If John and Nikolai ever got a cat, it would be an experience.

Someone down the street is moving and wants to get rid of their cat because they can't take her with them, John and Nik come to the agreement that they'll take her. She's only nine months old, she's just a kitten. It'll be fine.

The cat loves Nikolai. If he's sitting down, then she's lying on his chest with her head tucked under his chin. If he's lying in bed, then she's sprawled out across his hip. He can not walk through their flat without this kitten walking between his legs and brushing up against his ankles. He adores her, that is his girl.

The kitten likes to wrap her claws around John's arm and hang from his wrist. She gnaws at his hands constantly, and he ends up with new thin scars littered across the back of his hands to match the old ones he gained through years on the field. If he moves his hand too quickly, then the cat will pounce on it. Nikolai gets used to the various forms of "ah- you little cunt" very quickly.

Safe to say, John and the cat don't have the best roommate relationship.

Until Nikolai has to leave for a week, and he comes back to find John sitting in an armchair, watching TV and a certainly fluffy four legged fucker sitting in his lap. John's petting behind her ears and the kitten is nuzzling into his hands, purring. She's purring.

Nikolai only lets himself feel betrayed after he takes a photo of the two.

A lovely friend of mine got my 10th Doctor illustration signed by David Tennant yesterday and also gave him a little gift I prepared! ✨️ She managed to record what he said, and I have listened to it nonstop since she sent it to me, haha. He's been my favourite person and actor for over a decade, and the fact that he's seen my art and likes it means the world to me!

The gift included most of my good omens prints, bookmarks, stickers and a personal letter. I hope he got the chance to look through them!
