Stiles had just finished eating a brownie—fuck you, Jackson, I am not getting fat!—and was licking chocolate off his fingers when the door opened. He barely had time to look up before he felt a hand at his shoulder and tilted his head up in time to accept the kiss Derek dropped on his lips.

“Hey, sorry I kept you waiting. I was grading papers and lost track of time.”

Derek had done this twice before as a greeting, and both times, it was because Kate was nearby. If he walked in and came over to Stiles, asking if he could sit down, Stiles knew he was having a good day and the bitch was nowhere to be seen. If he walked in and kissed him as a greeting, chaste as it was, it meant there was a Kate somewhere.

not going to lie these two were some of the hardest to design. desmond's because his canon design feels very detailed, eloise bc her design is…not very detailed actually

thought of striping desmond with these weird spikes to evoke shark teeth, fins, bite scratches and the skin patterns found on blacktip sharks

his ear shape also reflects this (like shark teeth took a bite)

his mark is a small, shark-tooth arrow superimposed over a white target. the lines of the target and fletching of the arrow is supposed to evoke an overall shark shape - hopefully

since eloise's base design is a lot of shades of gray and white, i decided to have fun with the coat pattern and tried to do something like ballet shoes and the black swan ballet...she's very graceful and soft-spoken but is capable of severely injuring/killing someone

tried to fit as many wing motifs onto her as i though would suit her, as well as swan heads on her ears

cutie mark is a swan piercing itself with a fencing sword that curves with its neck. the swan is shedding a red tear, the site of impact is also a red star. trying to incorporate her animal and talent, but also how i'm like, 90% sure she's going to bend up a chapter culprit - swans are aggressive and also really really strong, despite being characterized as graceful/elegant...

i like that for the sake of being thorough. bulbapedia lists All pokemon masters voicelines. which includes the random little conversational noises. so you look at someones quotes and the pokemas section has this long string of "hmm? uhhh. ehehe. yippee! aawwh..."
