I'll say it. People are sleeping on Kindred-centric fics. Not only is their general aesthetic beautiful, especially if you listen to their theme, but even the description...

"Kindred represents the twin essences of death" and "every mortal must choose the true face if their death."

The relationship Lamb has with Wolf. The way their existence as Kindred compliments one another. The gentle release that Lamb offers and the desperate hunt of Wolf. I feel like it's underused. And not to mention the whole idea of Lamb understanding emotions but lacking the ability to feel them whereas Wolf feels but does not understand them. That is such a poetic dynamic.

"Kindred, the eternal hunters... Kindred is the white embrace of nothingness and the gnashing of teeth in the dark."

The melancholy that is them does something to my heart.

For TST, it's still Thursday now for me at least: I've been on T for 6 years + now, and I've noticed in the past few months that I'm finally in a place with my body (and my mind) where I don't worry that other people can "tell" just by looking at me. And it's so nice to just exist without worrying about whether they "can tell" or not.

Holy shit, six years sounds so long... do you know how much I look forward to being where you are? I know people longer in transition aren't inherently inspiring nor should they be expected to be so, but I still find it really heartwarming and hopeful.

There’s an adorable scene in the episode “most insane battle in history” where Shane puts in a sports reference in the show just for Ryan and Ryan and Sara gush over how sweet it is. It’s adorable seeing Shane flustered. ;u;

Oh yeah I have seen that clip in particular in some compilations and maybe bingewatched some of the eps (the pope one and the bear one for sure) but that was years ago, so unlike with other watcher shows where I could at least take a guess at what happened where, my knowledge of their buzzfeed content is very limited. And by the time I got interested in their content outside of ghost hunting PH season 5 started airing and compared to that, I dare say that the ruining history is kinda... tame? Maybe a bit boring, compared to what happens in the end of season 5 of puppet history. Like yes it has cute moments but compared to Ryan being tied up in a chair it was like... ah okay. We're fishing for moments and glances in the 2018 content compared to full on almost marriage that happens in 2022. I don't think I watched all eps or seasons of PH, I guess I need to be in a certain headspace of remembering information to understand where they are going (there's a lot that happnens in them so I prefer them airing weekly rather than bingewatching). This might sound like a fake fan of me but that's the beauty of coming late to a fandom I guess.

I guess Ruining history has the benefit of seeing Shane's reactions to what people are saying compared to just his professor voice behind the theatre. Who knows maybe he is like that more times but we wouldn't know this since he hides behind layers of lore and the theatre and we don't have a camera on him anymore (I know that was the case in first seasons).

Thanks for reminding me of this moment btw, I think it was really sweet of him indeed.

Teletubbies HQ you have to pick a side you are giving mixed signals. Like what are the classic and Reboot different universes??? Also they never mentioned who exactly was siblings with who, they just went siblings day. Maybe leaving it to the viewer. I always assumed it meant the Tiddlytubbies were related to the Teletubbies but the Teletubbies weren't related to each other-

Also it's weird that there's no canon proof of them being siblings in any of the shows, not in the official songs on Spotify. Just on a single post Teletubbies HQ made. Unless if I'm not remembering more posts they made

Speaking of that I'm willing to bet that no one can find any canon proof that the characters in Slendytubbies are related, and I mean canon in Slendytubbies.

[not Hellsing related] alright, so my s/o and me may or may not watch Vampire Hunter D tomorrow for Halloween-both have never seen it yet. Both are die-hard Hellsing fans and enjoy "old-school Anime". I also enjoy classic vampire literature, they not so much I think. Both aren't too fond of romance-type stuff in fiction/anime specifically. Do y'all think it would be a pleasant experience? Or should we stick to to random horror movies instead?

Big scary symbols of death looking after children has to be my favourite trope. Characters that have blood on their hands, either literally or figuratively, suddenly having to tend to someone so... weak. Someone so soft. Someone so sensitive. Someone so curious.

I just love to see it.
