for laslow and siegbert--well first off, i think laslow always can provide a particular brand of emotionally-based support that develops more as siegbert gets older. siegbert has his Anxiety Issues, and where laslow and xander both struggle w sociality as well, i think laslow can relate in a more... empathetic way? dealing with some of the emotional aftermath and letting feelings be feelings (this isn't to say siegbert doesn't go to xander or that xander doesn't help, i just think they're good at different things). on a more lighthearted note, i think laslow's really good at getting a giggle out of siegbert, and good at finding ways to alleviate pressure. he's been doing this for years with xander. and yes, xander and siegbert need different things, but laslow's good at pinpointing those things

something i rly like abt their relationship is that i think that where siegbert more openly shows his idolization of xander (like we see in-game), he still does something really similar with laslow. looking up to him, taking inspiration from him. it just comes out in different ways. for example, siegbert probably trusts laslow's opinions... a lot. considers his sometimes more than his own. and he's just fascinated by the stories he tells. even after laslow's married to xander, i like to think he still travels (and drags xander with him as often as he can--and also drags their kids along as often as he can hahaha), and those stories in particular really entrap siegbert. which is good for a budding prince, i think something laslow (and eventually siegbert and soleil) has that xander lacks is some open mindedness, and not being so narrowly nohr-centric in his perspective--esp in upbringing, if that makes sense. this is also why i like laslow taking xander traveling, cause ultimately i think it would do him good.

ONTO!!! soleil and xander!! ive mentioned before how much i like the grumpy-dad and peppy-daughter dynamic, but. to reiterate: i really really like it gjsjfjsnf soleil, similarly to laslow but probably even more, tends to go to xander and ramble about her girl successes and failures. just barging into his office like i hope you're not busy cause i have things to SAY!! and i don't think xander dismisses her, but he does make her wait sometimes, hahaha. i also think xander will often tell soleil what she needs to hear, rather than what she wants, and ultimately for her that's better than the alternative. he's not entirely harsh (though he can be and that's something to work on), but honest. he also dotes on her more than he should by a xander-standard LOL

i think soleil provides to xander a lot of brightness--it is NOT lost on me that they named her soleil, sun, in a place like nohr. i think surrounding xander with bright people is a fantastic idea. and just like laslow's doing with the traveling thing, soleil probably gets xander to socialize a little more, haha. he isn't a brick wall that can't talk to anybody, but--he does strike me as the kind of guy who has coworkers, but not friends, ya feel me. soleil's confident and full of energy, and tbh i think she's the type to really want attention from her parents, so asking xander to come along with her is a frequent request. and that eventually, naturally, leads to xander getting out more. she doesn't have the same setback as laslow that if he gets shy enough he'll retreat entirely while they're out, hahaha

and one final note to round this off: i like to think!! that xander and soleil are both cat people (xander = cabbit, and soleil has lines about owning kitten posters), where laslow and siegbert are dog people (i have many aus where laslow has a pet dog so this is more of a 'because i said so' kinda thing) (also you might be inclined to think cat for siegbert also but i need you to look inward. deeper. i think he'd like the enthusiasm...!!! i have more i could say but i'll leave it at that)

Theodore Nott (your beloved boyfriend) is a dirty little liar. He wasn’t a good liar at the start of your relationship, and he sure as hell wasn’t one now; sitting pretty on the Slytherin’s common room sofa with his bag a few inches away from him, the flaps open after his attempts at pulling out a quill.

You’re slightly frustrated when you find him, brows furrowed as you scan your surroundings for the small tub you’ve grown so fond off. “Theo, have you seen my lip therapy?”

Theodore cocks his head at your words, feigning cluelessness as to what your ‘lip therapy’ was. “No?” He supplies, sounding unsure of himself.

You don’t really think too much of it though, this was the third time this week you’ve asked him this very question. Each time pretending as if he doesn’t know what it was you’re looking for.

“Are you sure?” You ask again with a slight disappoint glint in your eyes.

He hesitates, wanting to let up yet he’s played this game for too long to let loose of it so easily. “Mhmm,” he hums.

You sigh, taking a seat besides him on the sofa. Your thigh bumps into his bag slightly, knocking out the contents within its pocket. You frown a bit, picking up the items that spills out of it.

Gum. Quill. A few sickles. Eye drops. Another quill. Vaseline lip therapy.

Wait, Vaseline lip therapy?

You hold the small container in your hand, looking up at Theodore suspiciously to only find him looking back at you with a sheepish smile. You have half the mind to throw it at his face and call him a filthy liar while the other half of you want to shut down and take in the utter betrayal from your boyfriend’s actions. Instead, you stay calm and ask him to: “explain yourself.”

Theodore bites the corner of his cheeks, eyeing the tub in your hand carefully. “Uhm— you’ve always had it— it was always laying around, and I knew you used it so kept it for you.”

“You kept it for me?” You ask him, untrusting. Theodore nods. “Then why did you say no when I asked you if you’ve seen it.”

He’s dead. Not figuratively. He just really fucked up, didn’t he? “I forgot?” As if it couldn’t have gotten worse, he gives you the worst lie you’ve ever heard.

���Right.” You’re nodding, and he thinks he might actually get away with it. But things are never that easy, is it? “Tell me the truth or we’re through.”

Surely, you don’t mean— nope, your face is too stern for you to be bluffing. He’s shy when he answers you truthfully: “you’re always using it I just— I wanted to know why you liked it so much so I tried it and just forgot to place it back where I found it.”

“And the other two?”

“Malfoy and Zabini saw me using it and stole it for themselves,” he grunts, clearly annoyed by his friends behaviors. You laugh and he’s the one to frown now. “What?”

“Nothing,” you giggle, “you’re just cute.”

The tip of his ears singes red, cheeks heating at your words. “So you’re not mad at me?”

You laugh again, rolling your eyes playfully as you tossed the small container in his direction. He catches it with ease, eyes shifting between you and the tub. “Just mad enough to remind you that you owe me three of these little replacements.”

When you stand up, his dark eyes are still on yours; lips jutting out slightly as your warmth slips away from the sofa where you sat mere seconds ago. And when you lean down, placing a short kiss on his lips (one he was quick to return) out of pity, you can’t help but comment on how it: “seems like the stolen products were doing its job.”

i like the headcanon he knows humans, knows some of their quirks, and how they were the first ppl the other hylian villagers called on to help stuck cows or downed wagons, lots of heavy lifting stuff

but he really hasnt seen the extent of real humans, bc the humans who were in Ordon, well, they lived in hylian society,

why would they need the adrenaline to lift a car when hylians have set up whole tools and systems in all their towns to help lift just a full bucket of water out of the well??

not to mention, i think all the humans in his village were older adults? like at least not the age theyd be doing things like parkour or going to any trampoline parks type of age,

You never really understood how you got the patience and nerves to put up with him, since...he's been seriously getting on your nerves by how... STUPID he is and can get

But..who wouldn't be when he couldn't understand basic math?

"So, do I just multiple this? Or..."

What did he mean by or ! There's a fricking × sign there...

"....Tsurugi..it's literally just 5×7-0,47. That's all you have to do."

He looked at his paper dumbfounded, then back at his notebook...then back at his paper before finally looking up at you...yeah he definitely didn't understand what you just said......

"Uh..can you say that again in a more....dumbed down way?"

Sometimes you wonder why you agreed to tutor him...

"...Tsu...what's 5×7..?"

He blinks for a few second...then he frowns as he thinks, then hesitantly answers.

"Uh...35...?"

Wow....the moron got something right for once, maybe cause you were about to beat him up the last time you were tutoring him and teaching him basic multiplication.

"Did you REALLY have to think for that long to answer what's 3×7...?"

It was amusing how he stared at you dumbfounded for a few moments, before he looked at his notebook to check it himself. Surprise, surprise, you were right. Yet he was still dumbfounded by how easily you calculated that..

"H-how...did you do that so fast-?"

"It's grade school math at best, Tsurugi...."

After an overly dramatic groan....he put down his pencil, slouching back in his seat.

"Hey, not everyone can be a brainiac like you, y'know.."

"I'm not a braniac...I also struggle with big equations......"

With a scoff, you simply crossed your arms and looked at him..almost in a judging way

Yet... you wouldn't know how much he liked and adored the way you crossed your arms to look serious...

"....but that's like a...whole new world for you."

He rolled his eyes and lightly slapped your arm in retaliation, pouting like a 4 year old...

Surprisingly, he let out another groan, frustrated at himself and the situation.

"Aaaah right right, I do solemnly apologise for using such a profound vocabulary on my dearest companion."

He put his face in his hands, groaning in frustration again, then took a few seconds to try and process what you just said before looking back up at you with his brows furrowed.

"Now you're just doing it on purpose..."

"Of course I'm doing it on purpose... you're stupid."

His eye..twitched in annoyance. So he leaned forward, resting his arms on the table as he stared at you with a frustrated but firm expression.

"Hey! I am not stupid, I'm just...not as smart when it comes to words and math and stuff...I'm good at football- at least..."

Then he leaned on to the table, his chin propped on his palm..

"..at least that's what I like to think."

That's when you chuckled... stood up, and took your school bag off the library table

"How about we pack up and finish tomorrow..? I don't want your little brain to fry.."

And with a genuine smile....you leaned down and kissed his cheek....

"See ya, Tsurugi...."

He didn't even have time to register that you left after that stunt you pulled

You left him...flabbergasted...brain short-circuiting when he whipped his head in your direction

okay so I got distracted during my initial attempt at writing abt this au so we'll just call the first post (which I will link) a rough draft of a scene in the theoretical fic, and THIS post can be the summary of the actual idea for the au that I originally intended to write. okay? okay

here goes

(cw for discussion of noncon/dubcon sex but nothing explicit probably)

edit: I got distracted again and this time I ended up writing a whole scene wherein the Uchiha brothers discuss What The Fuck Is Going On but! I also managed to actually describe the au this time so! I'm saying it counts and this is a successful post summarising the au,,,mostly

so abt that au in which, during the war, Tobirama has a lot of dubcon sex with various Uchiha...

this au would have one and only one similarity to my blessed stray cat au which is that the Uchiha have a problem, somehow stumble upon something that seems to work as a solution to said problem and promptly go "well I have no idea why this is happening/working but sure this is doable" and if they knew what the Senju (particularly Tobirama) knew they'd know exactly why,,,but they don't, so they don't

that's the only similarity between the two aus though

anyway. in this au Izuna is the one who starts the whole chain of events. He's very impulsive, has heard+made a few too many jokes along the lines of how Tobirama would be more bearable if he just got laid, the Uchiha are having problems with trade due to the Senju that Izuna is CONVINCED are Tobirama's fault and is absolutely fucking furious about (and is more than a little obsessed with his rival whoops)....and he decides a logical way to vent his anger would be to track down Tobirama, trap him, and fuck him. Test the theory that the bastard would be more bearable after sex

So he tackles Tobirama and manages not to die in the ensuring fight mostly because a) Tobirama is exhausted physically mentally and in terms of chakra after a long mission and b) the second Tobirama realises Izuna is trying to get into his pants rather than slit his throat, he stops trying to kill Izuna. Which Izuna definitely noticed and is taking as a point towards his theory

This is not to say that Tobirama cooperates or even that he doesn't try to fight Izuna off, because he absolutely does, but overall the reaction is such that when Izuna ultimately leaves Tobirama restrained (it's fine the prick will be able to get out of it pretty easily given enough time and not having to multitasking fighting Izuna at the same time as trying to undo said restraints) the Uchiha is significantly less pissed off/satisfied and also is like. Theory confirmed?? Possibly??

And then it takes less than two days, barely even one day, after that encounter for the problem the Uchiha had been having in regards to trade to suddenly be resolved. And rumours/spies suggest that Tobirama was the one who changed the Senju patrols/practice again so that the Uchiha civilians were no longer being killed when they tried to restock on supplies

And Izuna is like....Holy shit?? Are these two things (resolved issue (probably by Tobirama but not 100% confirmed) and the encounter a day or so prior) connected???

Man I may have thought he'd be less unbearable if someone got that stick out of his arse but not to THIS extent what the hell, Izuna thinks, reasonably

Izuna toys with the idea of tracking Tobirama down again the next time he sees the Senju alone, to see if he can prove his theory definitively, but now that he's not running so much on rage and impulse he can logically assess the odds and be like. Okay we are usually equals in a fair fight, and if he's trying to kill me and I'm NOT trying to kill him just restrain him, then that puts me at a massive disadvantage. I succeeded last time, barely (OW my fucking ankle I can't believe he broke it the shit) but only because he was so close to his limits. Realistically if I try to go after him again when he's less exhausted (...and when he might expect what I'm doing? depending on how strongly opposed he is/isn't?) then he WILL win and probably just kill me on the spot

But Izuna desperately wants to confirm his theory because like, it would be completely insane if it WAS accurate, but also if there's even 0.0000001% of a chance that a fuck is sufficient for Tobirama to ACTIVELY WORK AGAINST his clan fuckibg the Uchiha over...that's valuable intel right?? Like that could be so good that could pay off so so so well for the Uchiha

IF the theory is correct. So he needs to confirm it. But how to do that without getting murdered in the process??

Ultimately he decides to go to Madara about it for a second opinion

Madara is not impressed

"Otouto please tell me this is some new evolution of your fucked up humour," Madara says, pinching the bridge of his nose

"I am entirely serious," Izuna says, hand on heart, speaking ever so sincerely and earnestly and definitely laying it on too thick

Madara groans

Izuna waits

"Two main problems with this," Izuna nods, gesturing for Madara to continue, which only earns him a glare, "Firstly, do you realise how ridiculous this sounds?"

Izuna flings his hands in the air, "I KNOW! It seems like it must obviously be connected but it's just too crazy, which is why I want to CONFIRM IT somehow! I just can't figure out how to do that, which is why I came to you!"

Madara concedes the point and moves on

"Secondly, you're aware that once myself and Hashirama are heads of our clans, I had intended to try to make peace, as he keeps loudly offering?"

"I still think that's a bad idea. There's no way he's serious, not yelling about PEACE on a BATTLEFIELD whilst actively attacking you," Izuna says, almost reflexively returning to the old argument

"Senju Hashirama doesn't have a single deceptive bone in his body, if he refuses to make peace he refuses, but if he accepts he won't backstab us so it's worth trying to reduce how many of our people die every season," Madara returns, equally reflexively, then sighs and scrubs a hand over his face

"We're getting off topic. My point was... You're aware that Hashirama at least claims to want peace, and that I want that too, for the sake of our clan," Madara prompts, and Izuna nods somewhat reluctantly

"Yeah"

"And you're aware that the main reason Hashirama ever gave for wanting peace was for the sake of his little brothers?"

"Yes, I remember you told me that..."

"And you're aware that he only has one living brother left?"

"...I don't like where you're going with this," Izuna says, petulantly

Madara gives a wordless shriek of frustration, then gestures wildly such that Izuna has to dodge back a step from his brother's desk

"Uchiha Izuna did you rape Hashirama's last baby brother?!"

Izuna takes a moment too long to respond and Madara groans, slumping back into his chair with head in hands

"Otouto if you've just sabotaged our chances of eventually stopping this kami forsaken war and keeping our people SAFE, so fucking help me..."

Izuna cleared his throat awkwardly, staring at the ceiling

"I don't think I...did?"

Madara looked up to stare blankly at Izuna

"You don't think raping the beloved baby brother of the only Senju vocally in favour of peace has damaged our chances at ending the war," he states, flatly. It's not a question

Izuna stubbornly met his eyes and shook his head, even as he cringed inwardly at his own words, "No, I mean. I don't think I DID...rape him"

Madara stared at him for a long, incredulous moment, because by Izuna's own description that was not the impression he got, then sighed and leant his elbows on the desk. He waved a hand in Izuna's direction

"Go on then. Explain yourself"

Izuna cleared his throat awkwardly. Wow that ceiling sure is interesting!

"...Right. So admittedly I didn't exactly give the bastard a choice in the matter BUT," he hurried on before an already-exasperated Madara could interrupt, "BUT he absolutely did not fight me as much as he could have. Like when I first caught up to him he was fighting like he wanted me dead, but the very SECOND he realised I was going for his pants he immediately stopped trying to kill me. Didn't stop fighting, sure, but he definitely wasn't trying to kill me anymore and by the end he wasn't even pretending to try to escape"

"Thats really not sufficient evidence. You said yourself he was low on chakra and exhausted from whatever mission he'd been on, he could have just run out of energy or even given up-"

"-AND," Izuna cut him off loudly, "and at one point I stopped fucking him to see how he'd react, and okay yeah he didn't ask me to get my dick back in him, but he did almost immediately start bitching at me for stopping like you wouldn't believe, he was so annoyed about it it was actually really funny. And when I'd finished with him-,"

"Finished or FINISHED," Madara muttered snidely, but Izuna nobly ignored him in favour of finishing his explanation

"-that was the most relaxed I've ever seen the bastard. Like, ever. He actually almost seemed HAPPY. And, if nothing else, not once during the entire encounter did he actually seem upset, or scared, or sad. Angry at points, yeah, but, well, HE certainly didn't seem to feel violated," Izuna shrugged, a little awkwardly, "...so, honestly? I'm.. PRETTY sure I didn't rape him, in his head at least"

They were both quiet for a minute

"...I don't even know what to say to that," Madara spoke at last

".....Yeah that's fair," Izuna admitted

"....You're sure we're not going to have a furious Hashirama coming for our heads? Or, well, your head at least?"

And so ensues a ridiculously long period of time in which any time the Uchiha are having a problem (besides outright battles), with the Senju, someone goes to hunt down their surety heir (in other words, Senju Tobirama, the 'spare' to Hashirama's heir) and fuck him, and for some reason this results in the problem being solved very shortly thereafter like, nine times out of ten, which is a completely INSANE success record, so naturally they keep doing it

It's often Izuna who does this (because he's way too eager for an excuse to fight/fuck his rival hey who said that), but not always. They figure out pretty rapidly that Tobirama doesn't actually fight them THAT hard once he realises what they're aiming for (he still fights completely brutally on missions/battefield/patrol/random encounters though), so the main requirement for hunting the surety heir down becomes "can avoid dying in a fight with Tobirama long enough to make it obvious what you're going for"

(...and "can prevent him from escaping for the duration", because Tobirama fighting half-heartedly is still TOBIRAMA FIGHTING which is still a very difficult opponent for the overwhelming majority of the clan. And if Tobirama manages to escape before you can fuck him quiet, he will break a shit ton of bones in retaliation, vanish, and whatever the latest problem is won't get solved. Yes the unfortunate fucker who discovered this is still bearing a bit of a grudge, they were stuck in the healing halls SO LONG so many fucking bones broken and they were just stranded there before someone could come rescue them for fucks sake-)

They have absolutely no fucking clue why this works. Nobody's got anything better than Izuna's initial half-joking "guess he did really just need someone to fuck that stick out of his arse", but like, that is absolutely NOT SUFFICIENT to explain the extents the Senju heir will seemingly go to to make things easier for the Uchiha in the aftermath. So like what the hell?

But they haven't been able to find a better explanation, and just because they don't know WHY it works doesn't stop it from WORKING sooooo....

ive had 2012 brainrot recently and i think abt raph and mikey’s dynamic so much i’m gonna yell abt them in ur ask box. i feel like a lot of fans dont understand that they are the Siblings of all time; its incredibly accurate to be like “fuck you fuck you fuck you die” and then also threaten to disembowel anyone who messes with ur sibling. i also specifically love the one scene where raph tells mikey not to apologize to bradford and mikey goes UH…SORRY I DIDNT DROP YOU HARDER!! and raph is so proud of him hes like :) good job buddy. anyways sunset duo for life i love them

their bond, in this iteration is so important to me. i think that in 2k12 all the brothers have a good, solid relationship with one another - dynamic that even when they’re not getting along, it proves that they do very much love each other but the mikey and raph dynamic is something that i very much cherish.

mikey knows how to push all of raph’s buttons SO easily. he’s always there to rile him up and it’s all so very much on purpose. mikey is such a Little Brother and raph knows this, and even when he does allow himself to be annoyed at his antics or his teasing, it’s always in good nature.

and raph has so much love for his little brother!!whenever mikey is hurt, down, injured or whatever in the fight, it’s almost ALWAYS raph calling his name or rushing towards him. i think about that a lot. it makes me.. unwell lol :((

i imagine that when they were young, they were THOSE kids that if they went quiet, splinter’s day was about to be ruined lmao they were probably such a pair of rascals and that just cements that they are each others best friends. i think i already mentioned this before (and wrote a fic on it lol) but mikey for sure has a temper to match raph’s. they’re so very alike: very emotional driven, feels everything tenfold. we already saw in the space ep that mikey’s anger is a HUGE part of his personality but it’s something he’s perhaps able to keep under wraps than raph is. and that seems to me, why he’s so close with raph, always teasing him, making him cut loose because he knows he needs to let off steam because mikey knows how it feels !! to have all of it bottled up all the time !!! they’re so alike it’s :((( wahh !!!!!

anytime someone wants to argue the whole “raph was abusive” or “mikey never respected his brothers” spiel i literally lose years off my life. siblings will always fight and say things to one another than they shouldn’t. siblings will know how to make you mad and angry and siblings will always be that way, because you know that at the end of the day, that’s your best friend and of course you’re gonna make up at the end of it.

and that’s what mikey and raph have. they have each other and they know that they always will have each other and that’s just. very neat :)

ummmmm my friends and i all wrote supernatural self insert fics for each other during recess one day in 7th grade💀 . literally in a paper notebook i wrote like 10 pages for my friend/cas lmaoooo. then i also wrote a deancas fic for a project in my 8th grade english class ....

i haven't really written anything in a while other than half finished outlines lol but i think dialogue and conveying emotions have always come very easily to me & i've been proud of those in the past. it's also always the easiest part to start with when outlining because it comes naturally! also, one specific moment i am very proud of: when i first started being plagued by benji/brandt visions a few months ago, i was coming up with all these ideas and outlining like 20 wips at a time, and when i got to the point where i really wanted to start choosing one to write, i got concerned that my characterization may be off for brandt since i hadn't watched gp or rn in years and was doing it all based on my memory of him. so i rewatched both films and i can say with absolute certainty i was 100% correct about him 😌 the amount of satisfaction that brought me i fear is unattainable again lol

23: what’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?

the only idea i have that doesn't currently have an associated google doc (which i'm taking as 'haven't started' since all my other ones have at least a one sentence summary) IS actually one of my favorites. it's "brandt is in love with benji, freaks out, and decides to fuck his boss about it." so, hunley/brandt fwb x benji/brandt mutual pining friends to lovers slow burn.... it's insanely good and i've written almost the entire thing in my head.

it goes like this: benji and brandt are both dealing with the trauma of benji almost dying in rn. they're best friends (borderline codependent) and brandt sleeps over almost every night to help benji with nightmares. one night he accidentally falls asleep and wakes up spooning benji, his hand shoved up benji's shirt. brandt freaks out and leaves (benji is completely unphased). he decides he absolutely cannot be in love with benji and needs to do something to get his mind off of him and create some distance between them. so, he fucks his boss. brandt and hunley have a secret fwb thing, benji finds out (bc he notices everything abt brandt, duh) and confronts brandt about it. he promises not to say anything, life moves on as normal. over a few months, brandt continues to fuck hunley and it's the best sex of his entire life, and you know what, fuck it, he deserves to have a midlife crisis at some point, might as well be now. and hey, he's actually kind of happy! that is, until hunley dumps him. he picks up on the fact that brandt's in love with benji and thinks maybeeee this isn't the healthiest of distractions? so then brandt has to deal with the fact that 1) he's still desperately in love with benji, 2) his boss fucking dumped him and he still has to go to work every day, and 3) he can't talk to anyone about any of this, because the only person who knows about them is benji, and he can't fucking tell him why hunley dumped him and why it even started in the first place! so yeah. he's miserable. then there's the added angst of brandt not spending as much time with benji bc he's busy getting his ass fucked by hunley which means benji's ptsd is getting worse and he doesn't really have any support/help. and then brandt finds out about this and feels horrible that he hasn't been there for him. idk. i don't have an ending beyond brandt feels insanely guilting and decides to come clean to benji and just suck it up tell him what was going on or something. the end. (god this is making me want to write this so baddd)

29: how many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?

uhhhh idk?? i think it just depends. three of my ten posted works were uni assignments lol so a lot more editing went into those than others since i turned them in for class before posting to ao3. the others were drabbles/ficlets/tumblr prompts so probably very little. then like two of them i wrote and edited a few times before having someone else beta it? so my guess is a handful but i'm not sure!

Hux of course doesn’t feel emotions so it takes a bit to get to him, but receiving compliments and such would most definitely pique his interest. Feed that ego of his and it forces him to hesitate bringing any harm to you. He wants to see there all these words are going

He thinks knows these things about him are true, so it probably wouldn’t be such a bad thing to have somebody who will give him some adoration 

Obviously our beloved robot is very vocal about his distaste towards humans, so initially having a human follow him around will be…exasperating

Unless he was the one who was annoying and followed his human around, he’s gonna be a total hypocrite once the favor is returned and he’s followed around any time he’s not in a trial

Like either way, Hux is going to be pretty damn hypocritical as if he hadn’t been leaving Dvarka solely to follow and stalk observe you

He’s surprisingly easily to spot, even when he’s looking through his biopods. If you bring up having been followed by him, he will very much deny it and basically call you crazy

Initially it would get on his non-existent nerves; he doesn’t understand what you’re talking about nor does he care. But really, as time goes by it’s pretty soothing hearing you talk and talk. It’s the background sound he desperately needs on a map filled with sounds he can hear everywhere all at once. 

He doesn’t ever really leave Dvarka, but if he does he expects you to be at his side but again will not admit it. He also expects conversation (from you); don’t be surprise if you ask him something and he doesn’t respond

Now…Hux with affection…oh geez, literally not a big fan. Whether it be due to the disgust he feels for humanity and every biological component they have, or his heightened senses that have made him sensitive  to everything…it will be a challenge to get to being affectionate with him 

Hux claims he doesn’t care about a lot of things, yourself included, but there’s so much to learn and so much he can’t exactly do. You could almost say he yearns

Those moments in which he sees you being physically affectionate with others, a negative feeling will be deep within him. He doesn’t have emotions, but certain feelings are still there (and fear is definitely one of them)

It might bother him enough that he does become a bit more sassy, but once you figure it out and ask if it’s alright to show him some more fondness…yeah, he might just be putty 

It’s not just anybody touching him, it’s his pet human and you’re not slamming a pallet down on his head. You’re not stabbing him in the back nor are you making his skin melt

It becomes a common occurrence for him to demand physical affection. And for you to tell him aaall the good things about him

I don't like to describe Hux like an animal, but...he genuinely is so cat-like. Very independent and does not need you nor does he want y- wait come back where are you going I did not give you permission to leave come and hold my claw

Lucifer and Alastor’s little understanding does not prevent their bickering. If anything, their understanding just makes the bickering even more frequent! Alastor just exists to irritate him no matter what, apparently beyond amused by his annoyance and proud at his ability to tick him off.

(“Did you really have to put my blood in a toy teacup?”

“It’s classy! Besides, Nifty gave it to me. Who would I be if I were to not use such an auspicious gift? Look. It even matches your eyes! Ah, ah, ah. Kindly please don’t melt the teacup, Lucifer.”)

Charlie thinks that their interactions are sweet and that she’s glad that they’re getting along, but Lucifer would like to disagree. They can barely stand to be in the same room apart from feedings at night where he can cling to Alastor as much as he wants, relishing in the free physical intimacy and comfort that the radio demon provides while he eats.

(“You’re squeezing my ribs too hard.”

“You’re literally eating my shoulder. If anyone has a right to complain, it’s me!”)

It makes Lucifer feel less lonely about Lilith leaving him as he finds comfort in Alastor. He knows very clearly that Alastor mostly sees him as a food source, the king of hell that lives right across the hall, and Charlie’s dead beat dad, but it’s fine. Alastor can be strangely sweet at times, even if he shows them in unconventional ways.

(“Here! I have made you some dinner. It’s very delicious, so you can stop eating those pancakes now.”

“Oh, thanks? But why?”

“Your blood sugar is too high during feedings. It leaves a taste.”)

Besides, even if whatever they have can be strange to him, Lucifer is okay with it. He knows that, in some way, he’s special to him. Alastor very rarely allows people to touch him, especially so closely (only his friends he’s had for years, even Charlie at times, but never men, for some reason). He knows that he holds Alastor’s respect and it bothers him whenever Lucifer says something condescending or doesn’t pay attention to him (Alastor likes the attention and the ability to hear the sound of his own voice, but Lucifer honestly just thinks he’s a narcissist).

However, it’s Lucifer’s blood that he’s really after. As the only Seraphim in the Pride Ring—and Hell itself—Alastor understands that being able to drink so freely from him and so often is something he won’t easily trade away. It leads to Alastor being especially territorial over him, especially when eating, and Lucifer—while fully capable of protecting himself—finds himself with a more than capable bodyguard. It also provides some assurance that Alastor keeps Charlie and the Hazbin Hotel in his best interests.

Their understanding is unconventional and manipulative on both sides, but it’s nice to have and the security is comforting.

Until that security is threatened.

jay baby :) i actually dgaf abt jasons autopsy scar. its pure nonsense to me lol. bro was dunked in the lazarus pits!!!! he got no scars from his previous life & that's a type of body horror all on its own (linked fic by yours truly, it is sooooooo old & has my cringe writing style but encapsulates what i feel abt the matter pretty well)

the only scar on him that genuinely matters to me is the one the batarang left on him. also i don't think his face would be scarred at all because before lobdell came around to write jason with a helmet that has the structural integrity of a potato chip it actually broke down all of one (1) time maybe except the instances where jason himself has taken it off to blow it up but i don't think it counts as being broken. so yeah! the ploy used to let us see more of his emotions is pretty fucking stupid & i just really enjoyed winick's stuff where we could see a lot from his body language, the very subtle changes in the shape of the lenses on his helmet (almost the way spiderman's eyes shift when he wears his mask) and all his yapping. any time we actually saw the emotions on his FACE he was at his most vulnerable moments which made it so so special.

Hello! Just finished PS. I cannot praise you enough. Its easily the best thing ive read this year, and my resolution was to read multiple books a month. You surpass ALL OF THEM!

Saw ur authors note at the end abt an original queer vamp novel- is there anymore info yet? Im sure you've got ppl begging already but id truly love to beta when the time comes- or be first in line to preorder.

I feel like i read this at exactly the right time of my life.

The story was so painful yet rewarding bc i see so much of myself in Tyrus. Astarion and Tyrus truly feel like two different exstensions of my healing self. I wont go into it, but im a survivor to. Like tyrus, it happened when i was a young. Seeing his transformation throughout his decade of enslavement, his hatred towards himslef and the world, all bc of one man hit home. I kept telling myself that if it didnt have a happy ending id have to burn my phone or smthn lol. Seeing Astarion amd Tyrus not just defeat Cazador, but do it together, do it solely through their love of one another, broke me. The power of love, hope, and goodness. I havent cried over a fanfic since middle school. Im in my 20s now. I adored the final 2 chapters of the aftermath- im so grateful we got to meet his sister! And with Halsin, no less!

Im so thrilled you'll be adding oneshots and other stories to the universe. Tyrus is so real, so alive, id hate to see him contained in one story.

I love how Tyrus, ultimately, changeed. He didnt change into a monster like he feared, but what happened to him did changed him. Thats not a bad thing, tho. He's still Tyrus, simply a new version. And im still me, simply a new version.

I dont know if ill ever be able to reread, even skimming over the rougher parts was hard, but im so grateful i was able to see Tyrus and Astarion's journey. All of their triumphs felt like mine, all of their failures. Their never wavering love and trust in one another, that they understood it was Cazador that made them do those bad things. Ur right, pain and love must be intertwined, which is why this fic was so amazing. The highs would have never felt so spectaular without the lowest of lows.

Im rambling, i apologize. I do hope you read this, even if you dont respond. I hope my thanks and praise can give u something in return for what you've given me.

Speaking of, yes, since you ask I do have a little more to say now on my original story. I took a small writing break for a week or so but have now jumped back into the saddle for the next adventure! Lots of plotting, character creation, worldbuilding, and research happening right now.

Reuben, our first main POV, is almost fully fleshed out as a character and I’m so excited for you all to meet him (he’s an eloquence bard, for starters)!! The first book/part is almost fully outlined and I’ve written the first few pages. I’m really starting to get inspired by where the storyline is going.

Back to PS though—I’m so glad you felt seen with Tyrus’s character. He did inevitably change, but by the end he is (mostly) at peace with that and can still forge a good life and happy relationships. Meeting Cynda again was that last little piece of hope he needed to believe it 🥹

Haha the light does always seem brighter when you’re stuck in pitch darkness! On the other hand, it’s something Tyrus only thinks once, but I would argue love is not intertwined with pain more than anything else. Pain is just an inevitability. No matter what you do, you will experience discomfort, sorrow, loss, physical suffering (see Cazador, with absolutely zero love in his life). While love is not inevitable, it’s a choice. Love is a gift we choose to give and to receive in the midst of inevitable suffering and that is why it is so precious. Having that perspective has really helped me heal and have more hope for the future 🩵

Haha never apologize for rambling about PS! This thing has consumed my soul for the last 8 months so I love the chance to hear from/converse with people especially now that the full story is posted and all is revealed. As for my writing, here’s a few writing advice asks I've answered, but i haven’t gotten too in-depth on my chaotic process yet. I will say long walks talking to myself, bullet lists, and brackets are my personal recipe for success (besides just writing for years and years) 😂 I did take a lot of classes in school too! Anyway, it's complicated. I've become burnt out creatively lately, and I've been part of the sanders sides Fandom since 2018, it's been a big portion of my life, I'm not letting it go that easily.

However, this is my main blog, and I cant really shift everything to a new side blog, so I do feel bad for those who followed me exclusively for sanders sides are now seeing a v distinct lack of it.

But for the most part, yeah, I'm burned out on a lack of updates, I was a fander creator doing as much as I could to create content to entertain myself just as much as for others in-between the hiatus-gaps while awaiting updates. I love these characters with all my heart, but every gap in between has gotten longer and longer, I can't keep waiting for a year at a time for one single update even if the finished product is grand and *absolutely worth* the time it took to make. I was scrambling, bc I no longer have the time I used to to create my own fanart and fanfiction and animatics for this fandom, and I can only reread the library of my favorite saved works over so many times before I feel hollow and under-stimulated.

It'd be one thing if the rest of the fandom was as active as it used to be, I bounce off others creative energy far easier than single handedly manifesting my own inspirations all the time. But it's not, and interaction with my own content slowed way down. (Not to say that I'm leaving just bc of this or anything, but its become a struggle to feel motivated to keep going when there's literally nothing new from Canon to keep riffing from.)

I have the want to finish my remaining fics, specifically The Lost Guardian in particular at the very least, but I just can't solely be a sanders sides blog like I used to be.

I'll be here when that season finale comes out, but at this rate of progression, I think Thomas has overestimated the fact that this could very well be a series finale, not season finale. And I've come to peace with that, if only Thomas would be more transparent abt it.

Sure, Thomas has other content, but funfact, I've had very relatively low interest in getting super into it, there isn't the same level of comfort in shipping characters of a single person with the versions themselves when other characters played by other people are involved, especially when u know that they are alot of his v close friends. I don't ship real world actors together, especially if they play a character very close to representing themselves. The characters they play, maybe, but that's why I'm far more entertained and comfortable with animated media.

In short, I'm tired and burnt out and for now-for *whatever* reason- the silly lanky clown jesters from fnaf have more of a grasp on my brain than sanders sides does. I'm following the serotonin.

I may still create sanders sides content in the future, but getting maybe 100-500 notes on a piece when u have a fandom following of roughly 11.5k followers from over the years has spoken volumes on how active the community is rn. I'm not leaving, but I can't be stagnant and hyperfixate on this anymore after doing so for almost 6 years straight. Yknow?

GHOST GILLION SPECIFICS AND IDEAS IVE HAD ABT HIM I LOVE HIM DEARLY AND HEEEE:

-wears a really poorly knit sweater! when he was discovered aboard the albatross by gryffon (?) Gil told him that he was freezing cold in his normal clothes, that they itched, that they were horrible. long story short, ollie and his mom knitted Gil a sweat, but because she's sick and he's just a kid, it has huge gaps and several different kinds of wool and cloth all spliced together into a poor quality sweater. gil wont have it any other way!

-loves music! Arts were a luxury that the undersea trained out of him. He loves them dearly. He was never one for fighting as a child, more prone to loving animals and sketching beautiful scenes and reading stories, but music is his favorite (specifically heavy metal or rock which were ESPECIALLY not allowed in the Undersea (fuckin emo (endearingly)))

-loves SCIENCE and HISTORY!

-against the man! fight the machine! very stubborn in his ideals against anything that effects the rights of the people and freedom of expression

-NATURE NO NURTURE!!! REmembers nothing but what he is born enjoying, absolutely static. like a blank slate. Never reacts when people yell or scream at him, feels no pain, gains no trauma or memory.

-Reacts poorly when the crew brings up Alive Gil. Ghoulian fuckin hates him. He likes who he is now, why should he be replaced? What happened was meant to happen, surely, and to go back on that would be against fate.

-Believed in destiny from the beginning. Toward the recent episodes (109-111) He adapted the saying 'it is what it is' but I still firmly believe that is the effect of his crew being so casual about so much change (WE ARE TAKING AWAY POSITIVE EFFECTS FROM THE ALBATROSS AS WELL AS NEGATIVES FROM ELDERS--- HE IS A BLANK SLATE)

Maddie is interesting for sure and I don't want to make it sound like I hate her, I'm just deeply judging her. (and Buck, for forgiving her so easily) Because to me, Family are people that show up when everything is going downhill and Maddie just failed to do that at all for Buck - like Buck and Eddie spent close to a full month without support - and yes the 118 was unable to contact them - but Maddie could but she didn't. Like even one or two days I can understand, but three weeks?? (Again, I don't hate her, I'm just deeply judging her)

And the angst arc just started??? I knew that we weren't prior to the chapter coming out, but it always felt like it because Eddie wasn't mentally doing well at all, but I am so excited for this next arc (and the tsunami. Always the tsunami. I know you said that Eddie wouldn't be with the 136 for the tsunami (No pressure but that would be a really cool AUAU to read if you ever want to write it, again no pressure), but I love the tsunami, just so much room for angst. So different ways to angst. Like I love how in the show, Chris haunts the narrative. Like he's not with Buck, but we keep seeing him, which I think was a really clever thing to do. The group of tsunami survivors haunt the narrative but it's unclear until the end why that particular group is so important. It's following Chris's journey even though we don't know that it is Chris until the very end. Sorry for the rambling, I just love the tsunami arc.) I'm still hoping that Chapter 43 ends the angst arc, because I don't know if my heart will survive if it's any longer (I'm joking :D, I will enjoy the angst while alternating wanting to smack and hug Eddie)

Anyways, I am very excited about the Diary fic!! Like I am so excited for Eddie and Chris to reconcile in the show (I wish they did in 8A, although I understand why they waited for 8B...fun fact: did you know this is the first season of 911 to have a longer B season than A season? This is because ABC tends to default for longer B seasons in general. This unfortunately leaves us with a really short A season for a normal length season because they stuck with Fox's 3 part opener, despite keeping a shorter A season.) ANYWAYS, I am really excited to read it while I anticipate the Eddie Chris reconciliation episode!!

And yeah, it's very valid to be a little upset with Maddie. She is actually not one of the characters I like a lot, but I've become a bit of a Maddie defender, since people are ignoring the role her trauma plays in her actions. However, her actions are less than stellar and Buck does forgive too easily. Still, I'm trying to keep it in character and this is what is most in character for them, but you're more than welcome to feel frustrated with it and a little judgy xp

Yup, we just got to the angst arc, I have to say that I've been setting it up for a few chapters, but here is where it starts kicking off. I feel like part of the torture is not knowing how long it will go on, so no comment on if it ends chapter 43 :D. And I'm half playing with writing that AUAU, because god the angstttttt, so maybe it'll happen!

Yay, very happy you're excited about the diary fic, I'm abt to continue editing it and I'm so pumped to get to post it finally, since it has gotten so far out of hand it's ridiculous lmao. I actually didn't know that about the Fox and ABC season A and B lengths, so that's very interesting! This is actually kind of the first time I'm following along with a show as it's airing live, I used to wait until it was all done and then watch the season in one go, but I couldn't wait right now.
