all plans you had about “going out on the town” with haechan were dashed as soon as you walked into his apartment. you could tell he was in the middle of gaming when you let yourself in with the spare key he hid “so well” under the mat that you bought him as a housewarming gift. walking through the door and placing your shoes neatly against the wall amidst the array of sneakers and grandpa sandals thrown around the entrance, you absentmindedly noted that the boundaries between you and haechan were almost nonexistent. it had been that way since you met in middle school, when he was baby faced and wild. back then he didn’t know the insinuations of sharing a drink with two straws or passing notes littered with hearts and stars just to say “hi.” now, his face had begun to sharpen, cheekbones more prominent and a jawline that defined his matured appearance. he was still wild, but his energy and teasing were tempered, and he had figured out how to sense when enough was enough.

affection between the two of you was not uncommon nor was it uncomfortable. in fact, haechan was the person you felt the most comfortable with out of your friends- even those you had known as long as him. you moved in sync, matched each other’s preferences and both equally gave each other the push or pull the other needed. he was your “person” as they say, and you sometimes told him this when you were drunk- or sometimes even just on a late-night phone call, falling asleep after your confession. you meant it platonically of course, but these days you couldn’t tell if there was more to your own words…      

you heard him before you saw him, which snapped you out of your thoughts. he was talking to whoever he was playing with through his headphones, but you figured it was jaemin given the sassy (and borderline offensive) comments that were thrown out but you all knew there was no real strength behind them.

the bedroom door was already open as you welcomed yourself in. as usual, even though it was midday the only light was coming from a floor lamp -another gift from you so he didn’t live in dungeon-like conditions- in the corner of the room. clearly, he did not notice you because when you poked his shoulder to announce your entrance he yelped and could’ve easily punched you in the stomach if you hadn’t been used to these reactions and jumped backwards with a smile.

“god, y/n! seriously i could’ve killed you! oh my f- sorry guys i’m sorry.’

he quickly got distracted again trying to resume his place in his game while you tugged on the strands of his bangs sticking out from his headphones.

“my bad, i knew that if i waited for you to respond to my text i would’ve been standing outside for four hours.” you took a pause as you twirled his hair between your fingers. “also, i think you need a haircut. you should let me do it.” you teased, knowing 50% of his concentration was not even on you anyways.

he swatted your hands away and huffed, still furiously clicking his keyboard.

“i thought you liked it long. or do you just want an excuse to touch my hair?” he replied, his smirk turning into a frown when you lightly pulled his dark strands again.

“i do like it, but how do you even see?” not waiting for his response, you flopped onto his bed which was- unsurprisingly- half-made but still smelled clean and slightly like his perfume. putting a pillow over your head, you closed your eyes, humming when he talked just loud enough to let you know when the match was over you guys could figure out what to do.

at some point, even despite his constant clicking and talking, you nearly fell asleep. nearly, until you felt something hitting the pillow that was actually, nearly suffocating you, still over your face. you blindly reached above you trying to catch the hands that were attacking you, glaring at a grinning haechan when you threw the pillow across the bed.

“come on y/n it’s like 2 pm this is no time to be falling asleep.”

“ok mister ‘i’d-lay-in-bed-all-day-if-i-could.’” you said, rolling your eyes.

“yeah but not when i have my lovely dearest bestest friend waiting to have fun with me~”

it was a bit odd how the term “best friend” had been bothering you lately. there was absolutely no reason to consider yourself more than that, but the more horrific probable possible cause was that you wanted more. in the 10+ years you had been friends with him, there had been no romantic feelings. you didn’t think he was unattractive by any means, and you always got along- never having a disagreement that lasted longer than 20 minutes. but you both dated other people, and never had any sort of tension or yearning that you could remember. that was until about six months ago, when you started noticing how pretty he looked when the sun started to go down, or the way his lips moved and pouted, glossing when he ran his tongue over them. it was getting kind of freaky at this point, and you tried to ignore these newfound “noticings” about your best friend.

pulling you out of your reverie, you realized you had been staring at him for about three seconds without speaking which was three seconds too long as he raised one eyebrow, maneuvering his hands back over yours, tugging on them to prompt you to get up.

“i know i’m gorgeous, but it is tiimeee to get uppp come onnn.”

he dragged out the words in singsong as your hands started to get clammy being this close to him.

this was getting to be absolutely ridiculous you thought. he was in a loose black tee shirt and basketball shorts that were a size too big, and he still looked too good.

he finally pulled you into a sitting position but held in his breath when you let go of his hands and wrapped your arms around his middle, gripping the fabric of his shirt. he tentatively draped one arm over your shoulder onto your upper back and placed the other one on the back of your head, slightly petting your hair.

“what’s gotten into you hm? you’re not usually this cuddly... are you terminal or something? please don’t tell me you’re terminal.”

your response was slightly muffled when you turned your head, so your lips were slightly pressed into his side. even you had no idea what you were doing. this was probably wildly inappropriate, but you were close enough you could play it off…most likely.

“don’t be ridiculous, i’m not sick. im just tired… or …something.”

“or something?” he almost sounded disappointed, which was concerning but also made you feel better that you both seemed to be dancing around something. he pulled the back of your hair to get you to look at him and you complied. you rested your chin on his stomach, enjoying the way he smelled just like he always does and how warm he was, his hand still resting on your shoulder blade.

for once, he was speechless, his hand stilling in your hair. luckily (for both of you) he regained his composure, blinking rapidly and clearing his throat, trying to change the subject.

“well, either way, what did you want to do today? i know i said we should go out but now i kinda wanna… stay in… i guess…” he trailed off noticing how your eyelashes brushed against the tops of your cheeks as you sleepily blinked up at him. suddenly the air became thick, waking you right up, your heartbeat picking up against your chest. he looked at you intently, like he was scanning your face for whatever you were thinking to be spelled out for him.

“y/n…”

this was bad. it’s like you were drunk, dizzy and face flushed, your skin was tingling but also numb everywhere you could feel him. you had a feeling where this was going and though it scared the hell out of you, you also wanted him badly. more than anyone you ever have before and certainly more than you ever thought you would feel towards him.

you could only hum in response as he trailed both of his hands to the back of your neck.

“do you think we’re changing too or is it just me?”

his question caught you off guard and you wished he’d do pretty much anything else (mainly, kiss you) than continue this vulnerable conversation. but he was still looking at you, with eyes that were more earnest than usual, and you knew this was a time he needed sincerity and honesty from you.

“changing…” you repeated his term thoughtfully before finishing your sentence. “well um… yes. i mean- i think about you differently than i ever have and i…” you were almost too embarrassed to continue, but his eyes still staring into yours and shining with the fondness he always had for you, you felt you owed it to him to let him know how you felt- even if he didn’t reciprocate. “the thought of you with anyone else scares me. i want to be able do…this” you said tugging his shirt to emphasize your intimate position, “all the time, not as friends. i don’t want to just be your friend.” he still wasn’t speaking which made you nervous and continue to ramble when you probably, most definitely should not have. “lately i don’t want to be away from you, and i… want to be yours…if that’s ok and you feel the same obviously… i mean i hope you would-“

he cut you off with a whisper of your name. to which you replied with a meek “yes?” your voice cracking a bit from nerves, not expecting to say all of…whatever that was. you shocked even yourself with everything you admitted to him.

“do you not know how i feel about you-or have felt about you? it’s been like three years.” though his words were loaded, he was still smiling down at you. then you realized he said three years.

“you’re kidding.” was all you could manage, deadpan, as he started to chuckle, rubbing the tips of your ears between his fingers.

“mmm i’m not~ thank you for meeting me in the middle i knew you would.”

you poked his side at that and narrowed your eyes, making him laugh more. “well don’t sound so smug, or i’ll take it back.”

“you couldn’t even if you tried~ i’m irresistible.” he didn’t even give you a chance to roll your eyes as he lifted you up under your arms to stand in front of him.

looking up at his face, you tried to keep your voice steady.

“we’re very close right now…”

he looked down at your lips and leaned in, just close enough to where you could feel his breath hit your nose.

“yes we are. is this ok?” his breathing was even but his pulse was not, you could feel it fluttering against your chest at the same beat as your own heart. he leaned in more as you nodded and closed your eyes as you waited for his lips to finally meet yours. his hands reached down to grab your hips and he grinned against your mouth when you put your hands over his, slightly pushing your fingers in between the gaps of his own. after what seemed like eons, he kissed you, inhaling deeply and gripping your waist just a bit tighter. not wanting to overwhelm you by slipping his tongue in like he wanted, he opted begrudgingly to pull away and kiss the corner of your mouth, squeezing your side and kissing your cheek next when he heard you whine and felt your hands climbing up his stomach to his shoulders then the nape of his neck to pull his mouth back on yours.

indulging in you again because – when has he ever said no to you- he gave you one, two, three more kisses, each louder and wetter than the last until kissing your nose and pulling away.

“hey, we still never figured out what we wanted to do today. i haven’t even taken you on a date yet.” he said thoughtfully.

“we can date tomorrow, can’t we just stay in and do this all day? we can watch a movie later… i guess…”

he gave a real laugh at his and pet the top of your hair noticing your frown at the thought of parting from him.

“you’re so cute like this, ohh what am i gonna do? but ok, you win. i wanted to stay in too. and now,” he started with his signature mischievous look, “i get to have you all to myself~ and do this- “he slightly lifted you again and pretty much tossed you on the bed earning a yelp as he climbed into his side, lifting up the blanket to encourage you to slip underneath with him. cuddling was nothing new but with this newfound stage in your dynamic it seemed a bit daunting now.

“come on, i won’t bite-unless you want me to” he said wiggling his eyebrows, grinning when you lightly smacked his thigh before lying next to him. immediately throwing your arm around his middle and slipping your ankle between his, you adjusted your position and watched as he reached over onto his bedside table to grab his laptop. he set it on his lap and typed in his password with one hand while the other arm was around your shoulder, securing you to him. he pressed his face into your hair and kissed you there before dramatically sniffing.

“baby… i think you need a shower…”

you gasped at his audacity (but mostly the pet name) and tried to get up from his iron grip threatening to go home as he laughed at you even more, relenting,

“i’m just kidding baby. ohhh my baby~ you actually smell great is it that perfume i got you?”

“yes…” you grumbled with hot cheeks, “i wear it every day.”

quieting down to look at you so tenderly, before he could say anything you spoke again,

“weird how we kind of skipped all the normal steps huh.”

he hummed and threaded his fingers through your hair.

“did we need the steps? we’ve known each other forever and everyone already acts like we’re together. actually, we wouldn’t even have to say anything to anyone. i could probably makeout with you at the next group dinner and no one would care. wow that’s actually a great idea we should do that.”

“we absolutely should not? you’re crazy.”

“yeah, crazy for youuu~” before you could cringe at such a cliché line, he poked your shoulder and said with a faux stern tone, “hey, kiss me again.”

“now who’s obsessed?” you said, but still embarrassingly quickly lifted up from his grasp to lean over his face. he looked up at you with a slightly devious expression which did not match how carefully he moved your hair out of your face as you met him in the middle making him sigh into your mouth, breathing you in. he pulled away and pressed his head against the pillows to look at you better.

“me. i’m obsessed. i am completely obsessed with you, always have been. i’ll tattoo it on my neck and hands and update every social media letting everyone know how much i-“

“okay! i get it. but just know i feel the same… times 1000.” you interrupted him, becoming more bashful with each word. thankfully, he spared you, pulling you down to lay all your weight on top of him with your face in his neck and lightly rubbing your back.

“what should we watch? wait i have an idea-“

“not the kissing booth.” you managed to muffle against the skin of his neck. sick of that movie he made you watch at least once a month. but he could feel your eyelashes closing against his skin.

“you’re so mean. and you know what? i don’t even think you want to watch a movie you’re already drooling on my shoulder.” when he got no response from you, he got nervous he had actually offended you until he felt your soft, even exhales on his collarbones. realizing you actually fell asleep, he smiled to himself and continued to play with your hair. he was so content finally being able to have you this way it didn’t take him long to close his eyes and meet you in your dreams.

a/n: thank you so much for the request! you’re actually my first request ever!!! i thought this idea was so cute. fem!reader in mind but could be read as any gender easily. reader also has powers but it’s unspecified and unimportant to the plot.

You were dead exhausted. Like eyes blurry, body aching, could fall asleep standing up tired. 

You loved being a teacher at Xavier’s school, you really did. But between trying to grade exams and homework, training after classes with the other X-Men, and then lesson planning, it made it hard to not be exhausted. And on top of all of this, you still wanted to hang out with your friends. Storm often invited you out of the mansion, Logan offered for you to share some drinks and watch movies, and Peter, well, you didn’t care what you two did, you just wanted to spend time with him. 

But you needed a break from life. That is, of course, right after you finish grading the exams you’d been putting off all week. 

You’re rubbing your eyes with your hands, taking a quick break in between two exams when there’s an incessant knocking on your door. You have a suspicion on who it is, but regardless, you open the door with a scowl. 

“Hi,” Peter greets you with a grin. You can’t help but smile back a little bit. He’s infectious with his happiness. He looks insanely cozy in his sweatpants and plain white t-shirt, slippers hiding his feet. If he was officially yours, you’d hug him in an instant and fall asleep standing up.  

“Hey,” you reply, leaning against your door frame. 

He raises his eyebrows at you. “Can I come in or are you just going to leave me standing in the hall?” You give a short laugh and nod your head towards your bed for him to sit. 

“I’m warning you now, I have to finish grading these exams before I can hang out,” you tell him as you shut the door and go sit at your desk again. 

“That’s alright, I can wait” he says, swinging his feet back and forth off the side of your bed. “What’d you do today? What’s the exam on?” 

You take a moment to respond, but it’s not quick enough for Peter. In an instant, he has moved to your desk, making some papers fly away from the force of using his powers. You close your eyes, trying not to get annoyed. You know he’s just fast by nature, even in his mind, and you know you’re just exhausted. 

“Oh shit, sorry,” he quickly rounds up the papers and puts them back on your desk neatly.

“‘S alright. This one is for the life and health management class I teach,” you tell him, continuing to grade. 

“Oh nice,” he says, staring down at your papers, before moving to go look at the things on your shelf. He did this often when he came to your room, but you’re not sure why. “Where’d you get this from?”

You turn around after marking a question wrong, looking at the picture frame in his hand that held a picture of everyone in their suits. “Uhh, Jean gave that to me, for my birthday.” You turn back around, going back to mark the last question on the exam, writing the grade at the front and moving it off to the side. 

“It’s really pretty. What about this?” You sigh and turn around again. 

“Peterrrrr,” you whine. “I really gotta finish these exams, I told the kids I’d get them back by tomorrow.” 

He puts the object down. “Sorry, I know.” He walks over and puts a hand on your upper back, running over it softly. You relax a little at his touch. “How many more do you have left?” 

“Five.” 

“Okay so how about this: you hang out with me tonight and I can finish them tomorrow morning for you, before your class?” You look up at him, contemplating his offer. “I feel bad for annoying you, I just like having your attention. I thought that was obvious.” 

You grin. “Well, I mean, yeah.” You look back down at the papers. “Sorry for getting annoyed, I’m just exhausted lately.” 

“Then cmon, let’s watch a movie.” He moves to your bed and pats a spot next to him, grabbing your remote to turn on your TV. 

You’re hesitant, but oblige. There’s not much space on your bed, so you’re pressed up against his side. He’s put on a movie you two have seen a thousand times, so you decide to relax into his side, resting your head on his shoulder. 

“You know, I like having your attention too.” You tell him quietly. He rests his head on top of yours.

It's been a few months since you've been traveling with Ellie and Joel. Your friendship with both of them has been developping smoothly. As well as their own with each other.

While on a nightly stop out in central wyoming, Ellie had taken watch so that you and Joel could get some sleep....Joel could get some sleep. His snores, as uneven as they were, pierced the space. And you couldn't sleep. Not because of the constant tiring irritating snoring, but just because you simply couldn't.

Giving up and getting out of the uncomfortably thin matress, you shuffle your feet, roaming around the cave and then out to find Ellie.

But she was walking away.

"Where are you going?" Your voice booms, causing Ellie to duck and turn around.

"Go to sleep, what are you doing up at this hour?"

Honestly....you do not know. You shrugged.

"Go back to bed, man."

"I can take over..."

"No. You already took watch yesterday. Go to sleep."

Ughhhh. There's no way you'll be able to fall asleep. You unfortunately knew yourself too much. Nothing could stop that irritating feeling of wanting to be close to someon-

You head towards Joel, and stop a few inches away from him, squatting down to get closer to his face. You didn't want to scare him(no. You'd love to scare him but his fast reflexes would have you end up with a broken neck)

"Joel.." you whispered. But no sign of life from the man. So you tapped his shoulder, starting gently and going harder and harder, violating his shoulder until he huffed.

"What?"

You fidged, shrugging. "Nothinng." It sounds more like a question and Joel goes silent.

"Then why are you waking me up?"

You go quiet yourself...darting your eyes away from him even though the moon was straight behind you, meaning that all was lit BUT your face.

"Mmmm....well...."

"Spill." The man seems to be impatient.

"Can i...i can't sleep. Can i sleep with you-"

"No."

Uh-but you haven't even finished your sentence.

"Hear me out, joel-i"

"No. No. No. Go back to the other room and force yourself to sleep. It's much safer there anyways."

You slouch your shoulders. "But i don't caaare...i want to sleep here." You sternly argue, having made the decision that tonight, you choose.

"No." Joel says again as he shifts his head for a better sleeping position. "Now let me sleep."

"Okay then." You respond, sitting down on the ground. "Then i wont stop talking until you change your mind." You cross your arms over your chest, your brain fishing for things to blabber about for as long as it will take.

If you can't sleep, might as well benefit from your free time.

And then you start blabbering, about random things like the sky....the cold...El-

Joel shifts his body to the side, reaching for the space behind before he pats it and you hop over him and lay beside him, your back facing his.

"Sleep." Joel commands but....you can't. The warmth radiating out of his body is too damn comfy. You might not be...in his arms. But you haven't been this close to him ever. And it feels....good. You don't think you'll fall asleep anytime soon...although..your eyes are suddenly feeling heavy...Damn...how long as it been since you've felt such physical and mental warmt-......

Snatched out of a beautifully blurry dream, your eyes violently open to a blinding light, causing you to shut them even more violently.

"Look who's finally up."

You might be deeply disoriented from the sleep you've just been kidnapped from, but that annoying little voice will never be one you can't easily recognize. Not only is it the voice but it's also the sacrcastic tone of-

"Joel." You gently nudge the man's stomach, earning yourself a groan. "Joel let go of me." Your voice is as low as it can get. It's not a whisper, it's just a worried tone. Worried about the crippling smirk painted on Ellie's dumb fucking face.

You know her well enough to know what she's thinking about and you just-you can-

"Joooell...."Your roar comes out as a whine.

A deep inhale tickles your ear and Joel seems to be annoyed but he only wraps his arm around you tighter.

"Let gooooooo....."

Your eyes search for something to fixate on as your face flushes red. You're embarrassed and you want to hide, but Ellie's....persistent. and Joel doesn't seem to want to l-

"Nope." He doesnt seem to want to let go.

"Joel, shes gonna be making fun of m-"

"No. You're stuck here." He groans, stretching his body without letting go of you. "She'll make fun of you wether you're in my arms or not, better take the ooportunity and enjoy this new pillow i got for free." Your da-Joel's voice is soft and reassuring.

And deep down, you'd rather he stays like that forever....You know what? Fuck Ellie.

You turn around, facing his chest. You're still too shy to look up, but this- his earthy(stinky) shirt and the soft puffing of his chest as he inhales-this..is enough for now.

"Mmmmm." You whine, keeping that annoyed salty tone to not have them know....but..they know. And it's not really that much of a problem. You just....like being in your dad's arms and you want to enjoy the moment.

he watches from afar, giving you space and time. even as he watches the light fall from your eyes. even as he sees your shoulders straighten when he’s around. how small you try to make yourself. 

and yet, the opposing man tries to say he loves you dearly. 

Scaramouche always narrows his eyes, not believing it for a minute. and yet, you’ve told him to not interfere. he sees no reason for it but listens regardless. 

but… things become dangerous. 

Scaramouche was still awake at one am. of course he was. a book lay on his lap as he lazily read through the text, mostly trying to pass time. he’d be a liar if he said he wasn’t thinking of you. 

there’s a soft knock on the door. it’s followed by a much harsher knock. Scaramouche jumps up, grumbling, “I’m coming, I’m coming.” 

when he swings open the door, he doesn’t expect to see you. then, he sees a larger shadow out there. he pushes you into the house and walks out. he knew exactly who it was. 

“you know what? you aren’t welcome here. I don’t give two shits if they want you here or not, I’m not allowing it. I’ll drop them off when this is all over.”

“you can’t fucking talk to me like that. I didn’t do shit to you?!”

“I’m not a blind man. I can see what you’ve done to them. So get. out. “

with that, Scaramouche turns on his heel and slams his door shut. it vibrates throughout the house. 

you’re drenched in water from the rain. you insisted on walking all the way here and he followed you. 

immediately, he grabs your arm and drags you to the bathroom.

“shower. now.” 

he slams the door behind him and marches to his bedroom. his hands tremble over giving you his own clothes to wear. he’s unsure if the pants will fit properly but he knows there’s a drawstring so at the very least you can tighten it. 

his palms are sweaty as he makes his way back to the bathroom. he knocks on the door before yelling, “I GOT YOUR CLOTHES.” 

he puts a hand over his face as he opens the door. it’s super steamy in the bathroom already. as he collects your wet clothes off the floor he grumbles, “tch. don’t burn your skin off.”

he runs your clothes through the washer and dryer for you

by the time all is done, you are emerging from the bathroom. he still works at his previous task of putting the kettle on. 

some warm tea will help relax you a bit, surely. 

you slowly walk into the kitchen, cautiously.

Scaramouche doesn’t even turn around, simply speaks, “you’re welcome here. there’s no use in being shy.” 

you sigh as you sit at the table. a shell of your previous self. the one he grew to know so easily.

“I’m sorry for coming by so late,” your voice comes out low.

you hate the person you are right now. but you’re starting to resent himmore. 

Scaramouche shot you a glare just as the tea kettle started wheezing. he quickly pours the water into an empty cup and pops a tea bag in. he stirs it together. carrying it over to you felt easy and simple . 

your hands go to cup the tea, enjoying the warmth radiating off of the cup.

“I guess I’ll start with why I’m here,” you pause to take in a deep breath, “he asked me to go with him to go live with his mother. the war over there finally subsided and apparently it’s time to go home. I told him no, and he screamed at me. endlessly for a minute. I locked myself in my bathroom for at least fifteen minutes as he taunted me on the other side. by the time I gathered my courage to get out I already knew I was going to come see you. I don’t know why but I felt out of everyone you would get it the most. you could say… I felt safest telling you.” 

you were trembling by the time you finished speaking. unbeknownst to you, tears streamed down your face. 

Scaramouche stood leaning against the counter, arms crossed. he moved from his spot and kneels in front of you so you could see him face to face.

“you need to leave that bastard. now. and pray to god I never get my hands on that motherfucker.” 

you felt stone cold. you knew what needed to be done but only fear ran through you. 

“what if he tries to tell our friends I was the abuser?”

“if they listen to that scumbag they don’t deserve you anyways,” scaramouche spits out angrily. 

he takes your hand into his, “seriously. he is going to hurt you, and I cannot let that happen. do you understand?” 

you nod but gulp roughly. “I’m scared.”

A hint of a smile appears on his face. “I know. I can come with you if it’ll make you feel safer.”

you nod vigorously. 

Scaramouche lets out a tiny laugh and stands up. he runs a hand through your hair before offering a hand to you. “Ready to get this shit over with?”

the both of you go over to your soon to be ex’s house. 

Scaramouche waits outside of his car, ready to be there if it gets out of hand. he expects that it will.

here’s how it goes: 

you break the news to your boyfriend that you are done with him.

he starts crying and pleading. you refuse to be empathetic. this angers him and he gets aggressive.

you back away from him. 

he threatens to harm himself, if there’s no you then nothing matters. 

you finally have the strength to roll your eyes and walk out the door. 

he follows you out, ready to grab onto you and pull you back until his eyes scan the driveway and see Scaramouche standing there, leaning against his car. 

“you dare to touch her and you’ll be on the ground so fucking fast.”

your ex scoffs, he was clearly bigger than Scaramouche so he didn’t believe it.

big mistake. Scaramouche was across the lawn within three seconds, an iron grip on his wrist. 

“I said. don’t. touch. her.” 

Scaramouche released him and he scurried into the house. 

Scaramouche turns to you, who looks at him in awe. 

in a gentle tone you didn’t know he possessed he asks you, “you okay?” 

you nod. “I just want to go home now, please.” 

you aren’t even upset about losing all your items all of it is replaceable. 

Scaramouche drives you back to his house but not without sneaking glances at you to make sure you are truly okay.

Part One - Platonic Ace & Reader - Nooo! Not My Boy

With the Red Force docked as supplies were running low, you had spent the morning walking around the town enjoying the peacefulness while looking at the stalls. You were on the way back to the ship when some force slammed into your back causing you stagger.

With a sudden piecing sharp pain in your chest, so you placed a hand there as something didn't feel right. Pulling it back you saw that it was covered in blood, your blood and then shouting & screaming began as you fell to your knees as the ability to breath became harder.

You felt conquerors haki flaring, which was making it harder breath and stay awake. Someone was shouting your name before as you found yourself resting against someone as two hands were keeping you up.

Red quickly then filled your vision as Shanks knelt in front of you as he cupped your cheek, telling you as to stay with him and weren't allow to die. There were many emotions in his eyes, but the ones you could pick out easily was worry, rage and fear.

You began to think about what will happen after you're gone because there was no way for you to survive a blade through the heart you knew this, so as much as you wanted to live, you were making peace with this being how you die.

Reaching up you placed a hand on his cheek and smiled, asking him to looked after your boys in your stead and tell them you're sorry. You had only just found Sabo again and now you were leaving him already and as you thought of Luffy a sob escaped you, your youngest had been through so much and knowing that you were adding made you feel terrible.

Even if you weren't going to see him become King of the Pirates but you had complete and utter faith in Luffy that he was going it.

Shanks told you that you'll get to look after your boys, cause you weren't dying not wanting to accept the outcome. Calling his name you gave him a smile and told how much you loved and glad that you had him was your captain. Then you called to Beck telling him to look Shanks regardless of what Red Hair Captain said and got affirmative from the 1st mate.

Knowing that Shanks was gonna looked after no matter what he said or did, you gave one more smile as your eyes close as the last of your bit of life energy leaves your, and the last thing you heard was your name being screamed.

Suddenly your eyes snap open and saw the blue sky above you as it broke through the trees. This wasn't right, you had been on a dock dying and now you were in a forest alive apparently. Laying there you wondered if this was the afterlife and lost were in your thoughts when you heard two voices call your name. Two voices you hadn't heard in such along, that were getting closer still calling your name.

Tears began to well up as this was impossible, but soon two figures were looking down at you, one was smiling like sun and other scowling at you as they asked if you were were okay. When it finally clicked in your brain that Ace and Luffy were actually in you, you grabbed them both and pulled down, hugging them tightly against you as tears fell from your eyes.

Ace was doing his best to wiggle free but you didn't relent and kept your hold tight on them, so he stopped and just grumbled away while Luffy laughed at him. The three of you just laid there till you felt ready and then let them both go before actually sitting up and looked at them properly.

Luffy asked curiously why you were laying on the ground and told him you probably slipped as you couldn't remember how you got on the ground. There was little flash of worry in Ace eyes that you noticed but reassured them that you were fine just a little sore from the fall, so they didn't need worry and should head back to what they were doing.

You got a beaming smile from Luffy as he stood up and said he was ready to hunt some crocodile while Ace went after him a few seconds later, leaving you alone to your thoughts.

Had it all just been dream sure not as everything was so vivid in your mind and if it was a dream why could you dream of Ace dying, also could you have dreams with in dreams. Was it a premonition but that didn't set right with you for some reason or had you somehow gone back in the time.

Also these thought were rushing around your mind, as you felt tears fall again as you remember the look on Shanks face as you dying in front of him, the thoughts of him or Beck having to pass the information on to Luffy and Sabo of you being gone broke your heart, you never wanted to wish cause that type of pain on anyone.

Pulling your top up, you noticed that there was a mark in the middle of the of chest, where you had been stabbed, and knew that hadn't been before. So this was real, you had died and somehow ended back here.

Knowing that you had a second chance now, you had things you were going change and first thing was making sure that paramount war never happens by killing Blackbeard, however there were a few steps before you got there and began making a mental list of what you needed to do.

Teach the boys the basics of observation & armament haki

Get a sniper gun and start practicing what Yasopp had taught you

Speak to Garp, something you were not looking forward but needed to be done

Buy Den Den Mushis for Ace and Luffy,

Met the Red-Hair pirates again, hopefully get your lover back.

Try and befriend some of the Whitebeard pirate and try to make sure you knew where they heading

Kill Blackbeard!!!

Find Sabo and reunite your boys

Okay you knew where Sabo was and that he was being looked after, so while you really wanted him back with his brothers you chose to him leave with the RA for now, you just had to workout how get him back to Dawn and to deal with his amnesia, as he told you that he had gotten them back due to Ace's death which will not be happening this time.

You wonder if there was anything else you need to added to it but nothing came to mind but if something did you can always added to it.

With that you stood up, dusted yourself off and went in search of the boys, which wasn't hard as you could hear Luffy little laugh, it was so light and carefree. You were going to enjoy your time with them even more than the first, showering them with so much love and letting them know how proud of them you were.

You were going to do everything in power to make Ace realise that he deserves to live, that no child should suffer because of their parents sins, it was going to be challenge but one you happily welcomed.

That evening while eating dinner you told them that you were going to start teaching them something cool in the morning. Upon hearing that their eyes seem to light up at learning something new and tried to get you to tell them more but you were tight lipped and said they just had to wait, patience will do them good.

After the boys had turned in for the night, you looked up at the night sky and gave thanks to what force sent you back, and made promise to Rouge that you were going to try even harder to make sure that Ace lives and thrives.

The following morning you were awaken by a small body flinging themselves on you, causing you to groan at the sudden weight but you grabbed and refused to let them go. Luffy kept trying to wiggle free but you were able to stop any attempt until he complained that you promised to teach them new.

It wasn't till a stern voice told you both to get up and you couldn't help but laugh at the look Ace was giving you, a little grumpy child that you were going to break him out. Releasing Luffy he bounded over to Ace smiling as usual, as you got ready for the day and to teach them haki.

After breakfast you began explaining what haki was and the three types that there were and then you were going to teach them the basic for observation and armament haki. You explained that observation haki was what you could use best, as it was how you stole from people and managed not get caught as it allows you to sense the presence, strength and emotions of other.

You explained armament haki and told them that what Garp used then he visited, cause when normal a person hits Luffy it won't hurt cause of his devil fruit and when Garp hits it hurts

They asked you about the third kind of haki and you explained that only one in a million had conqueror haki, but it allowed you exert your own willpower over others.

As observation haki was your strongest that where you would start them on, first having them dodge attack while blindfold starting off easy and added more to it each time and they were picking it up fairly easily but you weren't going to teach them any advance observation or armament cause they didn't need to know about them yet and had years to figure it out, but you have no doubt they would figure themselves.

One afternoon you left them alone in the forest and headed to the Capital town centre as you were going to get a of sniper gun, to beginning training with it again while trying to conceal yourself so that when you did kill Blackbeard you wouldn't be found...hopefully.

It took a while to find one that felt right when you held it and paid for it. Also steal a few wallets as though nobles didn't need though berries then head back to forest with your new weapon in hand.

When Garp arrived the anger you felt toward him was holding strong, so you took a walk to as you were remember that old fool had done nothing for Ace while he was on that damn platform and you wanted to go off on him, but this Garp wasn't responsible for that and spent a few hour to get rid of your anger well as much as you could.

Garp was surprised that the boys knew haki, especially when they dodge his attacks the first few times but eventually they got hit and once they were a sleep and you had return to the hut, Garp rounded on you and started complaining but you just sat there with arms crossed glaring at the older man and asked if he was done yet.

He grumbled to himself as he settled down, you told him that he needed to stop forcing the boys to became marine because all he was is doing is push each boy away more. You understood why he wanted them as marine especially when it came to Ace but the boys had made their minds up an there no changing that no matter how much tries to change their mind, so the best he could do now is train them so that they could protect themselves when they set sail.

Garp grumbled and looked at you about to say something but you stopped him and said but you weren't finished and went on to tell him that he needs to talk to Ace about his father, told him that Ace believe he doesn't deserve to live as he asked some people what they think if Roger had a child and they said it was a demon child should be killed. You then told him that no child should have to suffer the sins of a parent, and hadn't Roger entrusted Ace to him to ensure that never happens, cause no matter what Ace does whether it be a pirate, marine or civilian he will always be in danger, you finished by telling Garp that he had better step up and be a grandfather that the boys actually need and then left Garp to his thoughts as you turned into for the night.

During the time that Garp was here, he seems to have listened to some of what you told him as he actually taught the boys some things rather than just throw them in the jungle or the ravine, so while they were off doing that you took this time to get to know your new gun better by cleaning and shooting it to see where the furthest you could hit.

Over the time that Garp was here a little routine was formed, and a couple of days before Garp was meant to leave, he left Luffy with you for the afternoon while he and Ace went off together. You suspected what it might be but would find out later and just enjoyed the time you had with Luffy keeping him entertained.

They returned in the early evening and you told Luffy to go over his grandfather making sure hug him tight and not let go not matter how much Garp tries to get off and you went to Ace. You didn't do anything but you did sit next to him, so the two of you sat there for a while before he quietly asked what you thought that man was like with his mother.

You pulled Ace in close to you and told him that was something you couldn't answer as didn't know know either of them but you assumed they must of really loved each other, however the one thing you did know is that they both loved him so much, enough that Roger asked Garp to look after and keep him safe, while Rouge held him an extra 11 months just that he would be born when it was safe. They did what they could to make sure he, the child they made of love, would be protected and didn't worry about the marine coming after him.

There a little quiet moment before you told him, that you would do anything within in your power to keep both him and Luffy safe. You then pressed a kiss in to his hair and told him that why you weren't either his or Luffy parents, you love both of them and Sabo as your own children and how proud of them you were, so knew that they were going to be amazing pirates.

Ace wrapped an arm around you and buried his face into your side, a little sniffle left him but you didn't say anything and hugged him back.

When Garp left, time seem to start flying by and soon 6 months had already past, with the boys haki skills improving enough over that time, that you brought them with you to the capital and told them to steal making sure to use observation haki and whoever could get the most would get some sort of prize and that fuelled them to try and out do each other.

You told them be careful about who they picked so they didn't tip off the guards just yet and then set them free in the capital. You wondered around taking money as well but your main focus was to get Den Den Mushis for the boys. When they returned to you both were grinning and saying they were gonna beat the other, that made you smile as they showed off the wallet & purses they had gotten. They had gotten the same amount and pouted that it was draw before asking if they still got a prize, you hmmed and ummed all the ways back to your little hut, not giving them answer even with Luffy hanging off of you, which made you smile.

When inside the hut, you told them to be patience for a little while long as you put the wallets away for now and then turned look at them and said that why it was draw you still had something for them both, then presented them both with a Den Den.

You knew that Luffy upon seeing them would beamed as he grabbed snail as you told him to be gentle, it was still a living thing. Pulling a little piece of paper out you gave it your youngest and told him to input the numbers in, which he did and a couple of moments later a familiar voice on the other pick and Luffy giggled out Makino, and started telling Makino he had a Den Den now and just chatted away.

Looking over at Ace you noticed that he didn't seem as in enthused about it, so while Luffy was still busy talking to Makino, you asked him what wrong, did he not want a Den Den but he shook his head and asked quietly why you would get something like that for him, it not like anyone wants to talk to him or keep in touch. Hearing him say that broke your that he still didn't believe he deserved love.

You knelt down in front of Ace and held his face in your hands, told him that you will always want to talk no matter where you are in the world and what about when he and Luffy both set off sailing, don't they want to keep in connect with each other, cause you sure as hell will be wanting to know where they and what they're doing.

He looked at you with slightly wide eyes and asked if you were leaving them, and you told that you weren't at the moment but you will be in the future, as you had something that needs to be taken care off but you were staying for another year, you're not just suddenly going to disappear on them.

Having reassured Ace that you weren't just going to leave suddenly, the rest of the night went fine, the hardest part was trying to get Luffy off the Den Den, to let Makino get back to what she was doing.

You made sure to write down the numbers down of both den den a few times, and kept them somewhere secure. Also you managed to get their numbers to Garp, so when he rang for the first time you couldn't help but laugh at their reaction but soon it became a bi-weekly call from Garp, and you felt the bi-weekly calls were helping the boys as well Garp get to know each other better, as this was most contact they've had with each other and you knew Garp would make sure every his line was secure when talking to them.

With these Bi-weekly call you were able to ask Whitebeard pirates and Red Hair pirate, much to Garp dismay, so you could have information on them, so when you did leave you knew who was in the crew. While you didn't really need it with Shanks and his crew but you were changing events so who knows, there might be new crew mates or not when you joined, if you were able to again.

You could tell that Garp was suspicious of why you were asking about pirate crews, especially Red Hair pirates as Luffy always got excited hearing about Shanks and his crew.

Over the next year your aim with sniper improved immensely and knew that you were gonna have to get another one that was like this one, to use when it came to killing Blackbeard so you could throw it away after. Ace and Luffy haki skills had come on in leaps and bound, they were going to completely fine when you left and when they set off sail, you felt so proud of them.

You spent some time teaching them how to sail, using your boat and took them out on the water, spending the night out at sea and taught them to use the stars to navigate.

They had been gotten good at stealing wallets and pickpocketing the nobles and on the off chance they had been spotted they had their obversion haki to get away, putting it in to practice with people. You spoilt them a little more than you had before, as you got them a daggers each with their names on them both and taught them how to use the weapon if they ended up in a fight.

You knew that Luffy would hardly use, cause of his devil fruit but knowing he had it on him and knew how to use it if he had, made you feel better.

As it got closer to when you leave, you were thinking about Ace and Luffy more and couldn't believe how much they had grown in a over a year and half. You knew that the next time you saw them they were going to be even taller, maybe even taller than you and that made you feel conflicted, as you needed to leave but you also didn't want to, you wanted to stay and watch them grow more.

While battling your inner conflicted, a body flung itself in your back with the signature giggle and you smiled, as you grabbed Luffy and pulled him in tight hug and tickling him that made him laugh. Ace soon arrived and told his little brother to stop sling-shooting himself in to people but you just laughed before telling Ace that Luffy is never to gonna stop, no matter how many times he's told.

Ace just grumbled as he sat next you and used that to your advantage as you pulled him in to a hug as well and told him he gonna be extra vigilant with Luffy when you leave and he gave a little grumble then asked if you had to leave. You smiled and hugged him tighter knowing that you were leaving to make sure he was safe but told him that you had too as you had to settle some business and so you could back visit quickly but told him you would be den-dening them all the time, that they'll be sick of hearing your voice.

That night you spent around a fire telling them stories about the different constellations you pointed out to them.

The day you were leaving soon arrived and you were constantly reminding yourself as to why you were doing this as you packed up the last of your supplies, both boys were on dock as you hugged them both before telling to be good-ish and not to cause to much chaos, before telling them how much you loved them and how proud of them you were, that you were going to miss them and you couldn't wait to see them again when your finished your business.

With one last tearful goodbye, you left Dawn for who knew how long but you were heading off to do something important. Now the main journey began, you knew where the Red Force would be so that was something so that where you would start.

It took a few weeks to finally find the Red Hair pirates and you were happy to see Red Force docked, as it had been your home for 10 years but now you were here it was time to make friends with them again however this time you were going to do it a little differently but still have your game of cat and mouse cause that always fun with Shanks.

You were glad to have your memories so you knew what tavern they would be in, drinking the afternoon and night away after getting supplies. First things you did was get a room for the night at a inn and headed to tavern, with your den-den on you encase the boys tried to ring you. Sitting at the bar you drunk your drink while looking around the tavern, eyes always falling on the crew mates but mainly on Shanks witch they soon seemed to noticed.

After spending some more time watching them, Shanks made his way over to bar and sat next to you, sipping his bottle as he asked if you were enjoying the view with that boyish smile he gives when he normally up to something.

Looking at him, you tilted your head and said you were trying to work out what made him so special that your youngest boy would be so taken by him. You absolutely knew what made Shanks special, but you were gonna have fun with this. Shanks was taken aback by that for a second or two before his smile widen and said he had a fan.

You rolled your eyes knowing that you were about to stroke to his ego and told Shanks he had no idea, your youngest was always talking about how cool and strong he was, that he was gonna be just like him, so you hence why you were staring as you were sure his first mate was more special if he had to put up with Shanks.

That had the crew laughing so loud and Shanks soon started laughing as well, saying that his first mate was very special indeed. He then invited you to come sit with them what you took up. They asked where your youngest was and you told him back in the East Blue with his older brother.

Hearing you mention the east blue they all seem to get a smile on their lips, no doubt thinking about Luffy. They asked you a few questions and why you weren't at home, you simply told them that you had some business to handle.

As the afternoon went and the drunker they got, it felt like you were home again and wish it could stay like that but for now it couldn't. You were in the middle of a card game with Beck and Hongo when you heard the oh so familiar sound of purururu. Suppressing your smile you set the den-den on the table and answered, the thing you were greeted with was two voices yelling Happy Birthday. While you were surprised having forgotten your own birthday, seeing the look of shook on the men face when they heard Luffy was glorious to you.

You thanked them both and told them that you had forgotten your own birthday and Luffy asked how could you forget your own birthday it's the same day every year and that made you laugh, as did some of the other crew did as well, before telling Luffy that when sailing sometimes the days just roll into each other, it was easy to do.

The look in Red Hair pirates listened in and soon Ace was asking what you were doing, so you told him that you were in a tavern drinking as you made it to an island and were making some new friends, who Luffy happen to know and could hear the confusion in younger boy voice saying he didn't know anyone else who wasn't on the island.

That seem to bring Shanks back out as he took the speaker from you and said that he was hurt that his Anchor didn't remember him. There was a moment of quiet as Luffy then began shouting before Ace told him to shut up, you were laughing this was good birthday gift, as you heard Luffy say he couldn't speak to Shanks because of the promises.

You told Luffy that he had not yet became a pirate and he was only speaking to Shanks, where in their promise did it say he couldn't talk to Red Hair Captain, so reassured him the promises wasn't broken. Upon hearing that Luffy started talking 100 words a second to Shanks and the rest of the crew. When you managed to get your den-den back from the men, you told Luffy and Ace that it time to say bye, that you loved them both and would you speak to them again soon.

With the called ended you saw the look they were all giving you and just smiled at then and said Luffy were was always talking them so you knew who they were the moment you saw them and chose to a little fun, but you weren't expecting them to call but was glad that they. Yasopp called for more drinks as it was your birthday and you tried to decline but they weren't hearing it and made you drink.

So the rest of night was spent drinking but you still wanted to play a game of cat and mouse with Shanks, so you lent over and whispered if he wanted to play a game or maybe it would be too easy with his current state. He gave you a look of intrigment as you told him a simple game of cat and mouse as you grabbed his cloak and left the tavern with a wave.

With it dark out and people heading home stumbling drunk, getting on to the roof of a building was easily as you watched Shanks leave the tavern looking around for you before calling out asking where you were. You chuckled saying that beat the purpose of playing cat and mouse if you told him where you. Shanks laughed and asked what his prize will be when he wins and so you teased him saying someone overly confident in their skill and was he gonna have to catch you or get his cloak back first before telling him his prize.

You pushed out your observation haki to see where he was and gauged his feelings, curious and excited, with that you started moving across the roof tops and occasionally calling out, that if he really was as good as people say he was why couldn't he find you. There was a laugh to below you to left, oh so he trying being sneaky well you could be even sneakier.

Grinning to yourself, you took a deep breath and focused as you suppressed your haki/presence as while making your way down from the roof and called his name before hiding in a dark little alleyway, watching as he passed by the opening of the alleyway.

Remembering the layout of this town as you waited a few minutes making a rough route in your mind before exiting and heading toward the where inn when you dropped your suppressing and got to feel his surprised which made you smile.

Playing cat and mouse with Shanks, pushed you both as you tried to get one up on each other and win the game. You debated with yourself if you wanted to win or allow Shanks to catch you and invite him back to your room for the night, both options were good but what did you want more, gloating or him.

It had been more than a year and half since you've slept with anyone but you also hated losing. Feeling him get closer you headed back up on to a different roof and teased him that he a got to be faster if he wanted to get you, as you jumped to another roof. A pattern of teasing him and jumping down from the roof to walking along the streets before going to roof continued between you both for a good while as you were getting closer to the inn. You called out saying if he can get you before you're able to reach the inn you were staying at you'll give him a special prize.

You could see the inn from the roof you were on and trying to think of the best way to get there while making the end of the game more exciting. So as you went to jump to another roof, the wooden board you had been standing on broke, affecting the jump and had your mid-section slammed into the side of the roof, winding you as you pulled yourself up and just laid there, glad that it was flat. Shanks called out if you were okay and so you managed to mutter out I think so but gonna be sore tomorrow and took a few more minutes before standing up and moving again.

When you were close to inn, you double checked to see where the red head was, then jumped down and winced a little as you landed. You checked around for a moment and as you walked by an alleyway something pinged your senses as you ducked out of the way as hand reached but you forgot one thing the cloak you wearing and were yanked backwards and pushed up against the wall with the red hair captain stating down at you with a grin.

Shank took his cloak back as he asked what his prize was for catching you like he said would. You running your tongue over your top lip and said you'll show him if he wants to come back to your room for the night. Shanks grinned and said to lead the way, so spent the night together enjoying each other company.

The following morning your mid-section was beautiful bruised in black and blues, and it was hurting like a bitch as you knew it would be and it was going to make sail harder but you had get back to finding the Whitebeard pirates. Shanks did offer to have Hongo his doctor to have a look at it but you waved him off saying it be fine a few days, he gave you a look but left it at that. You bid your farewell to him and expressed that you look forward to crossing paths with him again, and you won't lose next time, he just laughed saying looks forward to proving you wrong again.

After a week and half of sailing you finally ran into Whitebeard and could start your plan to get rid of Teach properly, even though it was gonna take a while but it would be worth it.

You were walking around thinking of the best way to befriend some of the commanders, so while lost in that train of thought you didn't notice the person in front of you till you walked in them. As you looked up and went to apologise a hand slammed in your mid-section, making you fall to your knees hissing as pain radiated through your mid-section and took some deep breaths, regretting not taking Shanks up on the offer to see Hongo.

There was a little commotion happening, making you look up to see the person getting reprimanded by couple of familiar faces, ah so the person you had walked into was a Whitebeard pirate but not one you recognised. A hand appeared in your vision and looked up to see Thatch 4th Division Commander and the reason why Ace had gone after Teach for killing him.

Taking his hand you were pulled to your feet grimacing at the pain from the movement and thanked him through the pain, as you placed a hand on mid-section trying to will the pain away with a groan. You got asked if you were okay and you answered with a no but you'll live. Thatch apologized for his crew mate but smiled and waved him off saying you should of paid attention just wished you hadn't been hit there but anywhere else would of been fine.

Thatch give you an odd at that and then asks what had happen in the first place to cause the pain, you told the 4th division commander with slightly redness on your cheek, that you had been playing a game of cat & mouse and when you had gone to jump to a different the roof the wooden board under your foot broke changing your jump, so you slammed in to the side of the roof before pulling yourself up. You had through you had only winded yourself but it had been nearly two weeks and it still hurts well it hurt a lot more again now but your be fine eventually.

Soon the other two commander joined while you were talking to Thatch, seeing Marco and Izou look younger without the shadows of the summit war and witnessing Ace and Whitebeard death behind their eyes steeled your resolve more to get rid of Blackbeard.

The two of them introduced them and you smiled at them as you introduced yourself, as Marco asked if you needed help with anything as a apologise for how their sibling action. You were about to reject his offer when your diaphragm muscle cramped making you wince, so took him up on the offer, learning from your mistake of not seeing Hongo.

Feeling the healing flame for the first time felt a little unusual but nice with the pain disappearing, you sighed in relief and thanked him for the help. Now that was done you asked if they knew where the armoury shop was, you were in need of something for your gun, that peek Izou interest as he asked what gun you had. You explained you had a sniper rifle and what type it was and soon the two of you were talking about guns.

After a little while the three commanders had leave, so you bid them goodbye and headed to the armoury with a smile on your lips, one step closer to befriending some of the Whitebeard crew and being able to keep tabs their headings easier. After getting what you wanted from the shop you headed to one of the Taverns near the the port. It was still early enough that it wouldn't busy and relaxed before it would became too rowdy.

You found a little spot in the coner of the tavern that allowed you to see the whole place and who was coming & leaving. With a warm meal in your belly and bottle in hand you enjoyed the evening even when it started getting rowdy and noticed that of whitebeard pirates were stumbling in cheering and calling for drinks. A little while later the whole reason you were doing the plan walked in and you bristled at sight of him but quickly collected yourself, you needed something stronger to drink with Blackbeard here, no Teach you remind yourself, he wasn't known as Blackbeard yet and never would be if you get your way.

Apart from listening to conversation around travern and trying to pick up any information that might be helpful, you weren't paying much attention so you were a little startled when a hand waved in front of you and saw the three commander form earlier as asking if they could join as there wasn't much space let at other table. You of course allowed them to to sit with you. You joking asked if any more crew mates were hitting anymore innocent unsuspecting people, which got a laugh from Thatch and a snort from the other two as Izou said you may of been unsuspecting but you were in no shape or form innocent.

You put a hand on your chest and dramatically gasped at the Wano man saying you never been so insulted, you were the picture of innocent, that got a laugh from all three as you pulled a deck of cards out asked what they wanted to play. You ended up playing poker and got to the know the three commanders better than you eer had before and you were actually having a nice time. Poker was not a Thatch game or least it wasn't tonight as Izou won the most and some how that didn't surprise you, Marco complaining about how you and Izou kept winning was funny but you just smiled, normally you would cheat and get as much berries as could you but you were forming bonds you weren't gonna cheat just yet with them.

By the time you called it a night, you had drunk a fair bit and stubbled a little standing up having been sat down for a few hours, you goodnight to you three men and headed to back to your boat. You did nearly fall a couple of time before getting to your little cabin and collapsing on your bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

The following morning you were surprised that you didn't wake with a banging head, spending 10 years drinking with Shanks and the crew had come through but that was your in older body where you had built that tolerates, did that sent back with you surely it not but you weren't going to put much thought into that currently as you stretched and got ready for the day. You sat out on the deck feeling the sun on your skin with your den-den in hand as you dialled Ace's number and waited for one them to answer.

Someone did answer and it wasn't who you were expecting however you did greet Garp and asked how he was doing, if he was training the boys correctly and not just throwing them in the jungle again. He grumbled something before telling you not to let Luffy talk to Shanks again and told him that not gonna happening, one you didn't plan it and two both Shanks and Luffy were so excited to talk to each other, who were you to deny them that and then Garp said something about them being marines, which just caused you to roll your eyes that.

You did get to talk to Ace and Luffy who asked if you met any cool pirates and told them with a smile that you had met some cool pirates, the Whitebeard pirates and even played cards with three of the commanders, you could tell they were excited by the express of the den-den making and you smiled at that. Knowing that Garp was still there and asked if he want you pass a message on to Whitebeard as some of his crew were still walking around, you heard the older man choke on whatever he was drinking or eating, before he went off on a tangent making you laugh aloud.

The boys asked about the pirates and so told them about the few hours that you spent with them when you heard you name being called. Looking over to the dock you notice that Thatch was standing there with smile, so you gave a little wave to the older man as you point at Thatch and then your head before giving a thumbs up or down. It took him a few seconds to get what you meant but when he did give you a thumbs up and you smiled at and also gave a thumbs up at that.

The 4th division commander left not long after that as the boys kept talking and honestly you could spend all day just talking to them but you eventually had to end call so that they and you could get things done. You promised to call them in a few days and told them how much you love and missed them.

You needed stock up on food and water as knowing the next island Shanks would be going to and getting there would only take a while for you but you wanted to get there before him. You knew getting was going to a pain even more than if you were on the Red Force, plus you wanted some good booze to use to get Shanks to join you on the your boat.

While walking around getting the items you needed, you bumped into someone again and made sure to apologised quickly, not needing a repeat of yesterday and when you heard them laugh you froze as you felt anger rise up and clenched your fists tightly as stepped back looked up at Teach, he waved you off and and said it was fine as it was accident.

Oh how you wanted nothing more than to shot him right there and then but gave a tight smile and thanked him as you stepped around and continued on. Oh how you wanted something strong to down and forget bumping in to him. Once back at the boat you stored the items and began making sure you could leave the following morning, a day earlier than planned it wouldn't really make any difference when got to the next island.

In the evening you got asked if you wanted to go for drinks in the tavern but declined the offers, letting them know that you were setting off early in the morning so had to make sure you woke at dawn and if you went drinking that wouldn't happen but suggested the time next time you saw again you would drink with them.

The following morning you were up just as the sun began to rise and got ready for the longs, checking all ropes and making sure everything else was secure before casting off and were heading off to next the island.

Just as you predicted getting to the island you knew Shanks would arrive at was a pain in the ass and you sailed in during the storm, so by the time you finished docking, you were completely soaked to the bone and went to find an inn for the night so you could have a hot bath and warm dinner.

It was two days later when you heard people talking about a pirate ship that had docking, and knew it was the Red Force, even though it was a day later than you were expecting it. That worked better for you cause while you weren't sick you did have sniffles with a slight sore throat and you really hoped that was all it was. You were also drinking a drink that your Ma to used make you when were little, with the addition of adding whiskey in it now, as it usually helped when you got a sore throat and sniffles.

What you weren't expecting however was to be picked up from the little table you were happily sitting at and put into the corner and given a drink. It took you a moment to realise that it was Shanks and the crew who was sitting around you. You looked at the red hair man and asked why but Shanks just grinned as he took a sip from the bottle. Your bullshit alarm was going off, so you crossed your arms and stared at him but didn't say anything at the moment as it won't be your problem to deal but Beckman, poor man.

The crew asked what you had been up to, so gave them an overview of what your done. You got asked by Hongo if you sick from all the sniffling you were doing and told him you were hoping that it was just sniffles, as explained that you had docked in the middle of a storm but other than that you were fine.

By the evening the majority of the crew was drunk save Beck and Hongo from what you could tell, you knew that Shanks wasn't drunk either so took your chance and asked if he wanted to go back to your boat and drink. He gave you a look before smiling and wished his first mate and doctor a goodnight as the two of you left.

Back on your boat the two of you sat on the deck looking up at the stars, talking more while drinking the the good booze you brought. You told him the next he offered to have his doctor take a look at you, he needs to make sure you take it, so you aren't going around in pain for over a week. That caught him by surprised as he looked at you asking what you meant, you gave a little chuckle telling him that you bruised you ribs from slamming into the side roof, at least that what Marco said when he healed them before joking that you and roof are no longer friend after that betrayal .

That got him laughing as he took a sip from the bottle and asked how they were now. You said that they were good now so nothing to worry about and you now needed to work on speed to make sure next cat & mouse game he wouldn't be able to catch easy, with the roofs out of play for the the moment.

Shanks looked at you and smirked saying that it was going to be even easier to catch you next time, he'll even get drunker to make it a fair playing field. You reached over and stabbed your fingers in to his side, which had him laughing again as he grabbed your wrist and pulled you in close, whispering in your ear that had you grinning as you finished your bottle and pulled him inside your cabin.

The following morning when the crew whistled at you both, you just rolled your eyes as you were used it but told them at least their captain was getting some unlike some of them, which got a snicker from Beck and Shanks. While eating breakfast in the tavern you asked Yasopp for advice on shooting from different distances.

So the two you spent a good couple of hours talking about it and you got advice that would help you. After that you began thinking about how get your hands on a marine sniper gun, so that meant going to island that had a marine base and trying to steal one. That was going to take so planning on your part to pull off but sneaking and stealing were what you were good at.

Most of your was time was spent with the crew while they were in dock, spending time with them again was great and almost felt normal but it got you thinking back to the last time to you were with them before you died and came back to the past. When they left you told Shanks he had better work on his speed cause you were going to be hard to catch, while he said catching you will be so easy.

Before you knew it 9 months had passed since you had seen Ace and Luffy even though you spoke to them multiple times a weeks, you missed them terrible and wanted nothing more than to see their smiling faces and hug them, even when Ace did try pretend he didn't like.

In that time you had "run in" with the Red Force quite a few times now, normally while you were in port already and you teased if they they following. You and Shanks had a few more rounds of cat & mouse, currently it was a tie on who was winning and you were sure there was bet going on between the crew.

Shanks had asked you to join the crew with how well you fitted in with crew as will as your sneaking and stealing skills but you declined for the time being, telling him that you had something to do before you could join but once that was done you would happily join.

You have come across the Moby Dick by chance most of the time but you had found it on purpose a couple times. During the time you were in same place as them you became better friend Marco, Izou and Thatch as well as a few of the other commander and got to met Whitebeard who asked if you wanted to join his crew and become his child, you thanked him but politely decline the offer.

Some of the local of the island you had been docked at for a couple of days mentioned that the Moby Dick was approaching the island and would be docking soon. You were busy planning on how to get your hands marine sniper rifle from the next island over as that Marine base on, going by the map and information that you had gather. From what you learnt it should be an easy base to get into as it wasn't big so that worked in your favour.

It wasn't till the following day that you saw any of the Whitebeard pirates, promising to catch up and have drinks later on in the evening. During the day it felt like you were seeing Teach everywhere you went and it was kind of putting you on edge for some reason, almost felt like he knew something even though no one knew of your plan.

As promised that evening you were in the tavern drinking, playing cards and trading stories. You were up a few hundred berries by the end of the night with Thatch saying you cheated and you stuck your tongue out at him over his accusation that you would cheated, calling him a lossy card player. In fairness you did cheat some but they couldn't prove that. well least Thatch couldn't.

Sleep came to you easy from your night of drinking however that night you did you didn't get much sleep, as you dreamed about Ace execution all over again and woke screaming his name, slapping a hand over your mouth as you sobbed quietly. The pain and heartbreak you felt when you arrived at Marineford was as still strong as from that day, even if you knew Ace was alive and well but your mind was screaming to call Ace but you knew he would be asleep and you didn't want to wake him.

There was hard knock on your door as your name was called by two voices, you took a few deep breaths before heading to the door and opening, with Marco and Izou standing there. You gave a wake smile and apologised if they heard the scream but you were okay. Neither of them believed that you were okay as Marco said that it wasn't the scream alerted them it your haki spiking and the absolute terror they felt in it.

Your smile faded when Marco said that and told them it was a nightmare that felt far to real as you witnessed the death of your eldest boy. Your eyes watered again as it replayed in your mind but told them you would be okay and just need the sun to rise so you could talk to your boys and that will ease you mind.

They asked if you wanted to come aboard the Moby but you decline the offer saying you wanted to be own but you would see them in the morning. Neither of them were fond that idea much but respected your wish and left you to yourself.

Once left on your own again, you sat against the closed door and sobbed again as you remembered how it felt holding Ace in your arms and begged for him back. You then thought about how Shanks, the rest of the crew, Sabo and Luffy dealt with your death. Did they morn you much, did they try to forget you to save them from the pain, did they give in their anger and destroy everything with there reach. Knowing that you had cause them some pain made you feel horrible and sobbed again for them all.

When the sun was high enough for your liking, you picked up the sleeping den-den beside you which woke it up, as you put the number in and waited to hear the voice you needed to hear. When you heard voice that you wanted to hear a sobbed escape you as your eyes welled up with tears and covered your mouth for moment as you calm yourself.

When your name was called you took a breathe and said hi, that you were sorry for calling so early but you needed to call to calm your mind. Ace asked what was wrong as a sleepy Luffy in the background said hi. You told Ace you weren't going to burden him with you worries but hearing him and Luffy had put your mind at ease knowing that they were both safe.

He tried to argue that he could help but you told him that while you knew he wanted to help and you loved him for it you stood firm in your decision as he didn't to worry as you had people you could talk to.

It wasn't along talk but it made you feel better and now you just wanted to kill Teach even faster, putting your gun against his and pull the trigger when you saw him next but given you wanted to see the boys grow up, rushing the plan was a no go as that meant he could possibly get away with his life.

It took a couple of hours before you felt ready to face people knowing that some of them would of felt your haki last night and put a smile on your lips leaving boat. You walked around the town mindlessly looking at the stalls and if anything took your fancy as gifts for the boys.

You were enjoying a drink when the 1st division commander sat down opposite you. Knowing that he wanted to see how you were, you informed him that you were doing okay as you had spoken to your boys and they were both fine, so your mind was at ease now. He asked if you wanted to talk about it and truthfully you really didn't want to but you also knew talking to someone would be help and he kind of knew what your nightmare was about already.

So you told him a little more about your nightmare and while you knew the true reason of it, you told him that you were sure it happened cause it had been 9 months since had you seen the boys, and while you talked them nearly ever other day, you wanted them in your arms and hug them tightly. He asked why you didn't goes back and visit them as it would probably help but you told him that if you did it would be even harder for you time leaving them second time so that wasn't option as you had things you had to do.

Not wanting to be on the topic of your nightmare anymore, you changed it and asked where the Moby was heading next and got a little shrug as Marci said it depends on when was supplies run low but they were pretty stocked for the moment so won't be docking for a while at least unless some type of emergency happens that will makes them need to dock.

The two of you spoke for a while longer before Marco said he need to head back to the Moby and looked forward to seeing you again. You gave a him a smile and said the same to him. Knowing that they won't be docking for a while that gave you time to practice with the marine rifle you were going to be acquiring soon.

You waited until the Moby had sailed before heading to the island that had the marine base a couple of days later. When you arrived on the island you started to scoped out the Marine base and took note of some of the marines, especially the ones you noticed that had snipers and began to get friendly with them, asking all about their guns.

It didn't take long before you were breaking in and stealing a gun, you picked the best one and while you were already there you stole some money and jewels as well, enough to do you a good long while. Once back to the boat, you hid the little haul under some boards and made sure to act surprise when heard people talking about the broke in at the base.

Deciding you wanted to cause some more drama, you mentioned that if they got broken into so easily, how could they be trusted to protect the people of the town if they couldn't find whoever broke into their base or were they making it up as they, themselves lost something and didn't want to like fools if. That got the people of town talking and bring up pasted things that the Marines messed up.

After a couple of day you left that island and looked for an island that would be great to practice with your new rifle as it was more different than expected from your normal one. It took a while to get used to it as you had to keep correcting yourself thinking it was your other one but you got there and then started working on distance to see the furthest you could shot and hit the mark on point.

Nearly two months later and you found yourself ready to finally finish the plan, now you just had to figure out where the Moby was going to end up what was going to hard, but after trying to find their location for a couple months you finally got it.

After docking on the opposite side of the island, you trekked around looking for the best advantage point and by some sheer luck you found a spot that more or less point in his room, as it seemed that some of the crew wanted to stay in the inns this time, the only downside to the spot had less coverage than you liked as the weather was turning rough as a storm was incoming. You prayed that it would hold off just a little longer as you got into position and just waited, making sure to keep your haki suppressed. It took a few hours before Teach came back to his room and by then the rain had started but you were already soaked to the bone.

Once it looked liked he wasn't going anywhere, you took a deep breath and as you let it out pulled the trigger once watching as the first bullet enter his head, that was Ace, then fired a second and third into his head for Thatch and Whitebeard and the final fourth shoot that was you, Luffy and Sabo.

When his body dropped to the ground relief washed over you, it was finally done and now it was time to leave as there was only a very short window before someone found him, so throwing the rifle away you headed back to the opposite side other island to your boat.

You managed to sailed another island that was close, with the winds getting stronger and it was becoming harder to see through the rain as it loomed over and intensified. When you made it to island you were shivering like mad and made quick work of tying the ropes to the dock, and by the end your hands were red and stiff from the rain and cold.

After getting a room for the night, not wanting to sleep on boat during the storm, you wondered if the Whitebeard pirates would stay on the island and look for who do it or would leave encase they think someone is going to be targeted. You didn't know if you should stop by and see if they were still docked or just keep sailing and run in them at a future island. It took a while for you choice but you decided to just sail by them and met them in the future.

For the next month you just sailed feeling so much lighter than you had in years, knowing that Ace was safe from Teach now as well Thatch. You had picked up more gifts for the boys, at least you'll have space again when you see them next and give them their presents.

You were pulling in to your next island and taken by surprise at seeing the Red Force, they shouldn't be here as they should at island you couldn't remember at the moment getting drunk on the beach at moment as it was where you had one the worst hungover and headache you had in a long time, so seeing them here threw you off but pushed it aside for now.

After docking which took a while with for busy the dock was, you headed into town looking for a an inn as you wanted a to sleep in a comfy bed within a warm room. Once the room was procured you walked around looking at stalls, seeing if there anything that caught your eyes that the boys would like, so weren't really paying attention to anything around you.

While looking at something, an arm wrapped around a your shoulder and so you elbowed who every it was and heard familiar grunt as you turned your head to see red hair. You shook your head at the man in question before asking what he was playing but got a sheepish smile from Shanks instead as he rubbed spot where you hit him.

He said that he had seen you walking about and you didn't seem to notice him what rather unusual as you were normally very aware of your surrounding and people. Hearing that you just shrugged your shoulders and said you had done what you had set out to do and was enjoying your time before heading back to Dawn to spend time with your boys and then you would be taking him up on his offer, if it was still on the table.

That took Shanks by surprised and before you knew it he was linking his arm with you and pulled you away to a little tavern near by, you guessed the rest of the crew was. As soon you entered Shanks announced that they had a new crew member and the men all cheered. You then correct the red hair captain and told them that you were going to join after you had gone back to see your boys and that got you boos but you just gave them the finger.

Once the rest of the crew was drunk enough you asked both captain and first mate why were docked here, you thought they would be off on some sandy beach getting drunk and dealing with hangovers. They both gave you a look and asked if you haven't heard what happened to the Whitebeard pirates and shook your head no, even though you knew what they were talking about say, but kept the act up of not knowing.

Shanks then explained that Teach of the Whitebeard pirates had killed, assassinated, over a month ago and so the Whitebeard pirates were being more aggressive which was understandable as they haven't been able to find anything that could lead them to who did, so they were docking more to see if they could find anything they could give to Whitebeard as bargain/favour, as well possible run into you as it had been awhile.

You asked which one was Teach again as it was big crew and you had only really met the commanders, so they told you what he looked like and thought a for a few moments before telling them that you knew who that was now but you had only met him cause you bumped him and he seemed okay but he kind of gave you unsettling vibes but you couldn't imagine someone killing him, not when there were other higher profile pirates on Whitebeards crew.

Beck gave a nodded in agreement with you and Shanks looked to be thinking about something so you poked his side which made him look at you as he pouted and said he was thinking about something. You gasped and said he could think without hurting himself, he learnt a new trick since you last saw him. That had Beck chuckling as Shanks pout got deeper and said he was Captain so this was mutiny, that had you giggling as you said you weren't officially on the crew yet, he went to say something but settled with angrily pouting at you.

You smiled and rolled your eyes a little finishing off your drink before leaning over to the red hair man, whispering into his ear which made him grin widely as Beck gives an exasperated sigh before muttering he need to get more drunk as he didn't want to deal with whatever the two of you were planning to do.

Both Shanks and yourself laughed at First Mate, you both drunk more as you talked and chuckled more with the crew before Shanks dragged you back to the Red Force for the night.

By the morning the crew was groaning and grumbling from hangovers mainly but also about you and Shanks as neither of you were quiet. It was mid-morning when the two of you came stumble out on to the deck, both fairing better than the most of the men and before long everyone was joking and chatting as lunch soon arrived. This was the first time since dying and waking up in past that you've eaten a meal made by Lucky Roux and you savoured it.

You spent the next couple of the days with the crew before setting sail and heading back to Dawn, back to your boys. They offered to take you back but you told them that it was fine and would see them again soon as an official member of the Red Hair Pirates so start planning the celebration now, that got them cheering. As you were about to leave you got pulled back by Shanks as he kissed you which resulted in cheers and groans from the crew, and soon he was telling you to be safe and tell the boys hello so with that you set out.

When you were only two days out from Dawn you gave Makino a call to see if she could get the boys down to the village for the lunch so that you could surprise them and she was more than happy to help with that. Thankfully the weather was on you side and made it on time. Once docked you made your way to the Partys Bar knowing that both boys were there.

Entering the bar Makino gave a smile then asked what she could get you and you grinned before saying two troublemakers would be wonderful. Two head whipped around and looked at you, Ace looked surprised and Luffy smiled widely at you before slinging himself to you, which made you laughed as you hugged him back, you had missed this so much over the last year and half.

After you got Luffy let go of, you went over to Ace and hugged him, those he tried to protest but you didn't let go and told him that you would be back to see him and Luffy. The three of you ate lunch and the boys told you what they had been up, watching them talk so animated and with their hands made you smile as you listened intently.

After lunch you thanked Makino for lunch and goodbye, then brought the boys back to your boat telling them you had brought them quite few a things on your travel. You pulled out a large bag out and showed them all the things you had gotten and seeing their eyes go wide made you chuckled, as you told them who's was who's things.

Most were little trinkets but you had got them a couple of t-shirt, Luffy was having a great time looking at all the trinkets while Ace looked at you and asked why you got him anything. You looked at him smack on the head, as you told him because you wanted too and he was your boy, so you were allow to spoil him and he couldn't say anything about it as you stuck your tongue at him while smiling.

Luffy than asked if Ace didn't want anything he take it all and that seemed to kick Ace in to gear as he and Luffy started fighting, as he told the younger boy to leave his things alone. You just chuckled and waited till they were finished which take while as both them were looking at the gifts again. Once the gifts were put back in the bag as you all headed up the mountain back to their treehouse and you were just glad to be back in the jungle with both your boys.

You slowed and let them both walk a little more in front of you, so that you could watched them and see how much have they grown in the last year and half. At least this time you were going to be able to watch them grow up rather than talk to them just over den-den and then suddenly see them as young adults and you couldn't do that again, you wanted to see grow more this time just had to work out how.

That evening being back in your hut felt a little strange being used to sleeping a ship cabin now, whether it be your boat or Red Force but it feel like home and knowing that the boys were near by defiantly helped.

The following day you got asked how long were you staying for and told them that you were here for two months give or take as you had a crew you got to officially join. They both looked at you excitedly but Luffy was looking at you with large sparking eyes as he asked what crew you were joining. You just grinned at him and said that he'll have to wait till the evening to find out, which made him pout and kept asking all day but you didn't budged.

That evening you were all on the beach with a fire cooking some meat that was caught during the day and Luffy was staring at meat waiting for it to cook then looked at you and asked(whined) when you gonna say whose crew you joined. Knowing that there wouldn't be any peace till you gave him answer so you pulled out your den-den and handed it to Luffy.

You blushed as the voice on the other end called by a nickname as soon as they answered. Luffy shouted Shanks name and began talking a mile a second, while Ace gave you a look that conveyed 'Really him?!' and you just shrugged your shoulders at him, you were not going to be judge by a thirteen and half year old boy who has had no relationship experience.

You had to wrestle the den-den back from Luffy but thankfully the meat was done and that easily distracted the younger boy, so you could speak to Shanks and told him that Luffy had been pestering you all day to find out whose crew you were joining and finally den-den him to give Luffy the answer.

Shanks laughed knowing how Luffy was and told him to never change as he can't wait to see the chaos he'll get into when he finally gets to set sail. You were asked if you ran into problems getting back to Dawn and you told him no it had been clear sailing so course coming to find him was gonna be hell you laugh, Shanks then said he was more than happy to come play hero if you need rescuing, you shook at your head and said goodnight to him as he called you by your nickname again before you ended the call.

The rest of night evening was spent having the boys point out of the constellations to you to make sure they still knew them as the stars. Soon Luffy was curled up next to you sleeping, so with it just being you and Ace, you asked how he had really been since you left, knowing that he didn't want to people to worry about him.

He went quiet for a few moment then explained there had been a couple of times when he felt like he used, mostly when he and Luffy went to fight people and Roger got mentioned, and while he knew that Roger wasn't how people say he was, he couldn't help but go back to how he used to feel about him but the fact that you had kept calling and never went more than 3 days without talking to them usually helped as Luffy being his normal self.

Hearing that made you smile, it was never easy to admit things like that, especially to people who care about you. So you pulled him close to you and hugged him, telling Ace how proud of him you were and that you loved him and Luffy so much.

He then asked about the time you had called early in the morning sounding upset and what cause it. You told him that it was not something he needed worry about, you had talked to someone about and while that you knew he just wanted to help, he was still a child and you will not burden him with your silly little problem because of a nightmare.

It was quiet between the two of you with only the waves crushing for noise before you got asked if Shanks was really who you wanted as he seemed like a big kid and that took you surprise before laughing, which made Ace scowl. You told him that that yes he made you happy and while he was carefree and didn't take much serious, he would do anything in power to protect his people.

Ace said that if he hurt you then he would kick his ass, that made you smile and you thanked him, then told him that Shanks would probably let him kick his ass if he hurt you. After a little while you got Ace to put the fire out and picked up Luffy up, holding him against you as you headed back to your little hut and tucked him into the spare bed for the night.

The next two month went quickly and spending that time with your boys and seeing how much stronger they had, made you feel even prouder of them. You went to Capital town centre with them and set the challenge of them trying to beat you, which they took up and said they were going to beat you. They did not but you did have like 12 plus years of stealing and pick-pocketing on them but they did their best and knowing that they could be steal easily made you so happy.

You had jumped in water after Luffy quite a few times and some times Ace too, forgetting that he didn't have this devil fruit yet so could swim no problem.

The night before you left, the three of you were on your boat one last time sleeping under the stars after having a feast that Makino helped with. You didn't want to leave your boys and was kind of debating with yourself if you should stay long but you knew Shanks was waiting and wanted to be back on the Red Force with your second family because the boys were your first.

Luffy brought you from your thoughts as he curled in your side and told you it was okay to leave them, they knew how much you loved them and know you'll always be there if they need you. Ace made a noise agreeing with Luffy and you pulled each of them in for a tight hug which made Luffy laugh while Ace grumbled as normal but didn't fight it.

Once the boys were a sleep, you pulled the blankets that was across the three of you and up so it was covering both them now and hummed 'You are my sunshine' to yourself, as you brushed their hair out of their faces before settling down to sleep yourself.

Morning came quicker than you if would liked but you were doing your final checks of everything as both boys were on the dock watching you. Once all the checks were done you got off and stood in front of your boys, placing a hand on their cheek and spoke to them.

"I have told you both this so many times and will continue to tell you that I love you both so much and I'm so proud of you both. So please remember that no matter what, I choose you both and I'll choose you both over and over and over. Without pause, without a doubt, in heartbeat. I will keep choosing you both cause you are my boys, my sons and I will give my life if it means you will both get to keep living and get to achieve your dreams and goals, that is all a parent could ask for."

Once you finished talking you could see Luffy trying not to cry but failing as he wrapped his arms around you and Ace was trying to act tough but you see that he was trying to keep his tears in. You hugged Luffy tightly before pulling Ace in tight hug as well. It took a lot to let go of Ace and detangle Luffy arms from around you.

Stepping on the boat you casted off, telling them stay safe and to keep looking out each other.

You could still hear Luffy shouting bye even when they and town were just tiny specks on the horizon. It was then your own tears fells, leaving this time felt so much harder than the last time but you would be back soon enough to see them.

While sailing to meet the Red Force, you had to stop at an island to stock up on a couple items and that was it was announced that the Moby Dick was had been seen and would soon arriving. It would be the first time seeing them in nearly 5 months however you weren't even sure if you would see any of the crew as you were heading out early morning and were not drinking that night.

While getting your supplies, you had been using obversion haki to see when the Whitebeard pirates would came on shore, wondering if it would be all of them coming a shore or only a couple of them to get supplies. You were putting the supplies away when you felt three familiar presences coming toward you.

Stepping out on to the deck you saw the three commander in front of your boat, so greeted them with a smile and asked how they had been. Thatch gave a small smile and said they had been better, as you needed to remember that they didn't know what Teach was really like and were grieving the loss of a brother. You gave a little smile and gave them your condolence for Teach, even it felt wrong saying it.

They gave a little nod in thanks as they then asked if you wanted to join them in tavern for drinks. You declined the offer saying you had to leave early morning and if you went drinking you would not be waking up early. Izou asked where you heading off to this time that you had to leave so early and your cheeks got a little red as you said to your official non-sharing booty-call who's crew you were joining.

They looked at you waiting to see what crew you were joining and after a few second you muttered Shanks and the look they gave you was the same as the one Ace gave you. You gave them unimpressed look and told them to fuck off with their judgemental looks, you dealt with that from your eldest you weren't going to deal with it from them.

That got a chuckle from the three commanders, Izou then said that anyone willing to sleep with Shanks will be judge and should have their head checked out but you just stuck your tongue out at them but Shanks could be bit much at times you were well aware of that but wouldn't change that about him.

You told them that while you won't be joining them this time, you were sure there would be other times when you would drink with them again, be that when the two crew meet up and have a party or coming across them on an island, so with that you bid them goodbye as they headed off.

The following morning you gone not long after dawn and thankfully it was just a few days later when you reached the Red Force and it felt like you were home again. You docked next to the ship and as it was afternoon you sent your obversion haki out and felt it ping, so followed the pinging till you were front of a tavern which you weren't surprised by.

What did surprise you was that Shanks was not in the tavern, you sent your haki out again trying to find him but still couldn't find him so you looked at the crew and asked if they finally threw Shanks into the sea. That got a laugh from them and before you could ask where the man in question was, you were pulled tightly against someone as a kiss was placed on your cheek.

You were annoyed that he had hidden himself and turned around to face giving him an unhappy look with arms crossed your chest but he just grinned at you, before saying you're not the only who can hide their presence so the little game of cat and mouse would more fun now before he kissed you again and then pulled you over the tables with the crew.

The crew just laughed as someone pushed a drink in to your hand as Shanks officially welcomed you as part of the crew and everyone cheered to that. Finally it felt like you were home again and looked forward to a couple of years of peace before Ace set off and your panic and worry begins.

The crew refused to let you have an empty drink all night, so by the time everyone was heading back to the Red Force you slung over a shoulder as your ability to walk had left you. Once on the ship you were made to drink of glass of water before you were left to sleep your drunken state off and boy did you feel it the following morning. You groaned with every movement and hissed at the sunlight when you stepped out on to the deck, which got laughs from the crew and you told them to go throw themselves over the side of the ship before sitting at the table and placing your head down on it, praying you built up your alcohol tolerance again quickly, you couldn't deal with these kind of hangovers again.

The next six month quickly flew by and soon you were heading back to Dawn to see the boys, as you decided that you would spend March with them during as it was in between both of their birthdays. Shanks was more than happy to drop you off and come get you from East Blue, as he knew how important it was for you to see the boys rather than just speaking to them, as you spoke to himabout how the year and half away from them was and would rather not do that again not till Luffy had set sail himself.

Just before you were dropped off, you suggested that maybe Shanks could go see Buggy as he was in the East Blue and Yassop could go see his son. While Shanks thought seeing Buggy could be fun Yassop looked like he was waiting for the sea to swallow him up.

The month with boys, you had given both boys a piece of your vivre card and explained to them what it was and what would happen to it if you were hurt, but you were giving it to them so they knew that you were fine.

Luffy tucked his piece on the inside of his hat while Ace put it in to his packet and asked what would to it if someone died. For a brief moment you were taken back to being on the Red Force as Ace vivre piece brunt up in your hand and screaming when it did.

A poke in the side brought you out of your thoughts as you told him that if it burns up complete it see the person is dead and watching it burn up is not something you wished on anyone, especially if they're too far away as there nothing you could do. Luffy tilted his head before asking if you had ever experience it and seeing there was no point in lying about it, you told them that there was someone special to you years ago who's piece brunt up in your hands and it broke your heart, knowing you couldn't do anything to help them.

Arms wrapped around and hugged you tightly, which you smiled at then patted Luffy head thanking him but told him you were okay, so there nothing to worry about.

The month passed quickly and soon you were leaving the boys again and while you felt sad to leave your boys like normal, leaving them this time wasn't tearing you apart knowing that if they did need you Shanks would bring you back quickly.

You hugged both of them tightly and give them as many kisses on the their forehead as possible before they kept pushing you away, which made you laugh and reminded them to call and they copied what you were saying, as you always said it to them, causing you scowl and hit them both on the back of the head for mocking you.

When you were back on the Red Force the crew greeted you before being pulled into your lover arm and kissed, as Shanks said how much he missed you. You heard Beck mutter thanks the seas you were back and wondered what your captain had done in the month apart.

That evening with everyone drinking, you were regaled with stories of what had happened and how Buggy kept telling Shanks to go away but the red head wouldn't leave him alone this time. They both did eventually sit down and talked about their last encounter, set the record straight with each other and then got black out drunk, so all in all it was a good and productive visit.

So the following year till you saw the boys again, went as how you remembered it and had even crossed path with Moby Dick, that party resulted in another hangover from hell. You had started planning on how to get touch with Sabo, knowing you would need to talk to Dragon and knew he was going he very suspicious of you but would mostly likely meet you, that least you hoped.

You toyed with the idea of talking to Garp but quickly threw that out the window after a few seconds then thought about if you actually knew any RA members but none came to mind and you had no idea what they were currently doing so trying to find them was going to be harder. So while you didn't know any personally, Sabo not included, you knew of some of members like Belo Betty and Ivankov, who might be best one to go find.

The crew had caught you many times just staring in the space as you were lost in thought trying to plan on how to meet with Dragon, that they would drop something heavily in front of you making you jump or they would start piling thing on you till you noticed.

By some miracle you ran into Ivankov, quite literally, and thanked what higher power there was cause you were one step closer to Sabo. You asked Ivankov to speak to them later on in the evening as you there something you wanted to know and knew they would be able to give you answer.

He agreed to met you later at a little out of the way bar, you told Shanks when you saw him that you planned to met someone that evening and not to worry. He raised an eyebrow at you but just told you to holler and he'll come save you.

When you met with Ivankov, you got straight to the point and told them that you had heard "rumours" that the RA had a blonde teenager called Sabo. That seemed to get Ivankov interested as he lent forward and asked how you came about that little titbit of information.

You told him that you had heard it somewhere on your travels and you wanted to know if this was your boy Sabo, who had been blown up as he setting sail by celestial dragon ship but nothing had ever found not even his tophat, so you always kept hope he was out of there somewhere and just wanted to met this young man and see if it was him.

Ivankov looked at you with sharp eyes, and asked where this happen and you answered the Gao kingdom. That seemed to get him thinking and said that he needed to speak to his leader first. Hearing that you wrote your Den-den number down and gave it to Ivankov, telling him you hope to hear from him or his leader soon before thanking him for his time and left, heading back to the Red Force.

Once back on the Red-force you were asked if your meeting went well and answered that you thought it went well but to had to wait now for answer.

You hope that Dragon would agree to meet you and bring Sabo, and while he had no memories of his life before the accident you were hoping that maybe speaking about his past would help him and maybe if that went well you could take him back to Dawn and let the boys meet each other again.

Over the following weeks every time your den-den went off you were hoping that it was Dragon but it wasn't. So when it went off nearly two months after your meeting Ivankov you weren't expecting the voice on the other end, as you had thought that Dragon had not given any thought on reaching out but hearing him speak filled you with hope.

The crew that was on deck stopped what they were doing to watch as you spoke to Dragon, as they could see how excited you were. You glared them and mouthed to them to fuck off, you were busy, that just made them laugh as they went back to their tasks.

While the talk between of you and Dragon was short, it filled you with hope as he agreed to met with you in a month time with Sabo, he said what island and where before ending the call. You were brimming with excitement knowing that you would see Sabo in a month time.

Now you had to ask Shanks to take you there which would be easy in all honest, as you told him why you were meeting with the Leader of the Revolutionary Army.

So for the weeks leading up to meeting Sabo and Dragon, the spring in your step seem to get bigger and you couldn't seem to sit still as you were buzzing with so much energy.

When the agreed upon day arrived, you were in meeting place with Shanks next to you as moral support more than anything as you waited for Dragon and Sabo to arrive. The wind picking up sudden before disappearing just as quickly and soon two people were walking toward you and you had to stop yourself from running over to Sabo and hugging him.

With both in front of you, you greeted Dragon first before turning to Sabo and could feel tears prickle at the corner of your eyes, as you smiled at blonde teen and took his face in your hands and told him that you knew his face anywhere.

There was looks of uncertainty on his face as he said he apologized for not knowing who you were as he no had no memories of you or any since before waking up with RA.

You smiled softly at him and told him were you just happy to see that he was alive having spent 4 years thinking he had gone forever and you couldn't wait to tell his brothers that he was alive. Hearing that he brother took him by surprise as he stared at you. A little laugh escaped you and said you would tell him all about his brothers.

When you spoke his brother, you told him that Ace was the oldest and Luffy was the youngest, that they became brothers over cup of sake that had stolen from Dadan. As you said Luffy name you looked up at Dragon, letting him know you knew he was his father.

Hearing that Sabo asked you more questions about his brothers and his life with them and you. You told him that you would answer any questions that you could, even if he doesn't remember now it may help for the memories to come back in the future.

You took Sabo down on to the beach, quite a bit away from where the crew had set a fire up and with Lucky cooking away while the other were drinking. You sat with your middle boy and answered all his questions, talking for hours as you told him some silly memories that you had.

There was shout as Lucky said food was finally done and everyone made mad dash, like a bunch of drunken animals and you just sighed before putting both index and middle fingers in your mouth whistle loudly, which made the crew stopped for the moment as they looked at you before Beck told them stop acting like drunken idiots.

You turned to look at Sabo and saw that he seemed to of stopped and staring off in to space before touching his shoulder and asking he was okay, you hadn't ment to spook him with the whistle. He shook his head said he was waiting for another whistle but wasn't sure why.

Hearing that had you beaming at the blonde as you told him you used to whistle like twice when you came back from capital so he and his brothers knew that you were back and knew that those memories were in there somewhere, hidden deeply but they were there.

By the end of the evening just before Sabo and Dragon left, you hugged Sabo tightly and told him how much you loved him and if he ever wanted to talk or needs you then he could den-den you as you handed him your number and told him, that you would be heading Dawn in March to spend a month with Ace and Luffy, if he wanted come he as more than welcome.

Sabo smiled at you and said that he would think about, then thanked you for all that you had told him and for the number. You took his face in your hands for a second time that day and told him not be stranger, as he was still family even if he couldn't remember yet and not to do anymore stupid stunts, you have your hands full as it was with Ace & Luffy as well as your crew mates sometimes.

That made him laugh which you smiled softly at hearing but he didn't say anything but just smile and you could just tell that smile meant trouble. You swear your boys were trying to turn you grey before you knew it, little shits that they were but you loved regardless.

Just before both Sabo and Dragon left, you called out to Dragon and said that he was growing into an amazing person, he gave you a little nod of recognition before both of them left your vision. You joined the crew on the beach and grabbed the bottle that Shanks had and took a swig from it, as he protested his stolen bottle as he pulled you on to his lap.

As you sat there, he asked how you were doing now that Sabo had left and gave him a soft smile as youtold him that you felt great knowing that all your boys were alive, and couldn't wait for the boys to met again.

He grinned as he took his bottle back and said that the boys being back together again was going to turn you grey faster than Beck and you groan at the chaos the three of them would make but then sighed fondly as you said it would be worth it though. Yasopp asked if you knew any other expressions with how much you had been smiling and laughing today.

You stuck your tongue at him which had the whole crew laughing, as drinking and merriment went long in to the night and all your could think was how close you were to having your boys all together and everything was going in the ways that you hoped it would.

The next few months were mainly uneventful what you were happy for as you could relax as there nothing you had to plot/plan for.

It was just a month before you headed back to the Dawn when your den-den went off and were greeted by Sabo voice which made you happy to hear and asked how he was doing. He gave a simple answer without giving anything away as he then asked if the offer to come Dawn was there.

Hearing that almost had you squealing with joy but calmed your as you said that he was still more than welcome to come with you. The two of you worked out the details of where to meet before heading to Dawn and you were brimming with excitement again. This was going to be the prefect late & early birthday for Ace and Luffy, though now you had to think of great birthday present for Sabo.

The month went by quickly and soon you were saying goodbye to Shank and told him to have a great birthday and he'll get his present when you returned. With one last kissed shared you bid a goodbye as you took Sabo arm in your, walking down the dock and then up to the mountain that was home to the both of you.

While walking through the forest, you asked if anything felt familiar but he didn't respond as he look around like he trying to remember but him told not to worry if he didn't. Just before you arrived at treehouse you had Sabo wait behind a tree till you asked him to come.

Walking up to the treehouse you stood in front of it and gave two sharp whistles, it only took a couple of seconds before you were wrapped in arms followed by a familiar laugh and annoyed voice shouting as a body slammed into yo, which you just laughed at as you wrapped your arms around Luffy and told Ace to lighten up, you weren't stealing Luffy.

Ace said please steal him away and give him peace, which had you laughing deeply as you told him, he would miss his little brother too much. When you managed to get Luffy off, you beamed at them as you told them that you had late/early birthday gift for them but they had be calm, and not fly off into a rage, looking at Ace when you said that bit which had him scoffing but you gave him a look and he said fine.

You then called out to Sabo saying that he could come out now and walked out from behind a tree and awkwardly said Yo as he came toward them. Both Ace and Luffy looked confused as they look Sabo and then you, so you explained that while the ship did blow him up it didn't kill him but he does have amnesia so don't remember anything before being blown up.

It took a few moments before the information sunk in and could see Luffy eyes well up with tears as he threw himself at Sabo and wrapped his arms around the blonde teen, crying as he called Sabo name. You looked at Sabo thinking he might feel a little strange dealing with Luffy but his body seem to know how handle Luffy, as he hugged the younger boy, even if he didn't remember.

Looking over at Ace you could see that he was trying to deal with how to responded but it seemed that his anger won as he walked up the blonde and hit in the face shouting at him, calling him idiot for going out to sea on shit piece of rift .

Your hands covered your face as you groaned, before pulling them apart and looked at the boys, as Luffy told Ace off for hitting Sabo, while the blonde looked unsure of what to do. Why did you think this meeting would go smoothly when nothing did when it involved these boys.

The shouting then turned in a fight between Ace & Luff which Sabo got dragged into but didn't back down from and seemly enjoyed it, as eventually all three of them laid over each other out breath before they started laughing.

Luffy asked him if he really didn't remember anything and Sabo gave sad smile and shook his head but then said while he didn't remember anything, being here and with both them felt like it something that he didn't know he was missing.

A sigh escaped you knowing that it wasn't about to turn into complete carnage and rage. You asked who was catching dinner tonight and maybe they should take Sabo for old time sakes of catching dinner and show off their skills.

It didn't take long for Ace and Luffy to drag Sabo off to get dinner and while they were doing that you went off to your little hut and set it up the sleeping area.

When they the boys returned with a crocodile behind them, you had a fire going already and began help cut the meat for easier cooking as the three them told you how it went. Watching the three of together and laughing with each, was a sight you never though you would get to see again even with this second chance and just smiled at them.

Luffy cocked his head to side looking at you, asking if you were okay, which had the other two looking at you now and told them that you were fine, just seeing them together again made you so happy as you got to have your boys back.

The rest of the evening spent talking and joking, and left the boys around the fire heading to your hut and settle down for the night. At some point during the night you woke up and something told you take a blanket with you as you went to check on the boys, they huddled together with Luffy in the middle.

The sight made you wish you had a cameko in that moment but seeing them like this was the 2nd best thing and just ingrained it in your memories. You then placed the blanket over and moved Sabo fallen tophat next to him. You looked at them once more and headed back to the hut for more sleep.

The first week went quickly as they took Sabo to Dadan hut and you could hear her shout of shook as you headed down the mountain to Makino and tell her about Sabo return, as well as asked her to help make a little feast for Sabo birthday on the 20th which she was happy to do.

The second week was when you noticed that Sabo wasn't looking great and kept holding his head and looked a little flushed sometimes. You thought maybe he just wasn't used to being out in the open like this anymore.

It was the middle of the week when Luffy came running to you, saying that Sabo had collapse. You were up and off in an instany, following Luffy to where Sabo, cursing at yourself for not checking on more Sabo and making sure he rested more as he was clearly getting sick.

Reaching where Sabo and Ace, you were on your knees next to blonde checking his temperature and found his forehead burning, quickly told Ace to help you carry him back to your hut, and told Luffy to run head and get damp cloth ready.

When back at the hut you quickly got inside and place Sabo down on your bedding, you quickly got his jacket off and place the damp cloth on his forehead, as you went through your medical bag you always brought looking for medicine that would help.

The next few days were going to be something as you keep an eye on both Ace & Luffy, knowing that they were going to be worry, for good reason, and not knowing what to do with themsevles.

You spent your time reassuring them that Sabo was be fine, sending them out to take out their pent up worry on hunting for food and looking after Sabo, making sure he drunk water and took medicine in the moments that he was barely conscious. You did manage to get him to eat/drink some instant soup you had in the med-kit bag.

In the the evening both Ace & Luffy would curl around Sabo, telling him little things that to fill the room with some noise as they fell asleep. You were getting very little sleep as you kept checking on Sabo temperature but you didn't mind.

It was the end of the of week when Sabo sat up so suddenly that it took you and boys by surprise as he looked at all three of you, as tears filled his eyes he grabbed both Ace and Luffy, hugging them tightly, as he said through sobs he remembered and apologised for the pain he know he caused.

You gave him a gently smile and said that was wonderful as you came over hugged them, telling the blonde that everything was okay and they were just happy to have him back with them. Ace piped up and called him a crybaby like Luffy was, knowing what was to come you released them and watch as the younger two jumped Ace, rolling over the floor telling him to take it back.

By the end of it squabble, Luffy was curled in to Sabo side and asked him very quietly not to die again. Sabo hugged him tightly and told him that he would do his best not to but being with the RA could lead to some deadly missions. Ace then asked if he had to go back and Sabo said that he where belong, but now that he remembered his family nothing will stop him from visiting them whether that be here or on the high seas.

Luffy jumped up and excitedly suggested that they take a drink to renew their bonds as brothers and upon hearing this you gave them a sharp look and told them no, not now that you knew what they did the first time and told them they were not drinking till they were of age.

The week leading up to Sabo birthday passed quickly with three of them causing more chaos than before Sabo got his memories back. Once the 20th arrived you were leading them down to the village not telling them why but to be patience as they would find out soon.

Once in the village you herded them to the bar and just before entering you told Sabo Happy Birthday as you handed him a present then opened the door and could see some decoration with a smiling Makino behind the bar. The boys hurried to the bar and spoke to the Makino, who wished Sabo a happy birthday as well. .

You thanked the green hair bartender and she just smiled saying it was fine as it was Sabo first birthday back with the Ace & Luffy so had to make it special. The afternoon was spent in the village with the boys laughing and eating the food was wonderful to watch and was a great reminder as to why you did everything you could to make sure that they didn't feel the lose of a brother again.

During the afternoon you managed to take a photo of the of the boys together, smiling brightly. A photo you would treasure and show to anyone while talking about them.

The final week went quicker than you of would liked as you were soon getting ready to leave once more and take Sabo back with you, so he can get back to where he wold be meeting RA members to get back to the RA base. Though Luffy was trying his hardest to get Sabo to stay with them and you could see that Sabo was trying his hardest to not give in.

You knew that feeling well, but after some times Sabo was able to reassure Luffy that he would be back before he knew it but he needed to go back to the RA.

Luffy still pouted that Sabo was leaving but told blonde that he had better be back soon or else, that had the teen in question laughing at his little brother.

Ace had been a little quiet you noticed and bumped his shoulder, asking if he was okay then reassured him that he wasn't losing Sabo again and soon the two of them will be meeting on the high sea, no doubt causing chaos together and giving you even more grey hair.

That got a smile from him as you told him to go give his brother a proper see ya later, rather than goodbye if that what he preferred to do. You watched Ace put Sabo in a headlock and shook your head, why did you think he might give a nice goodbye.

Once they were finished saying good, you hugged both Ace & Luffy and told them not to cause to chaos unless Garp was here. Then as normal you told them you loved and if they needed you to call and you would there.

Soon both yourself and Sabo were sailing away to with Luffy and Ace shouting as they waved goodbye. A few days later and you were dropping off Sabo and telling him the same thing you told both Ace and Luffy, to call you if he needed you for whatever reason.

Just before Sabo left, you handed him a letter and told him to give it to Dragon when he got back to base.

You understood why Dragon gave Luffy up, to protect him from his enemies/world government but not getting to see him grow and only getting a occasionally message/call about him must be hard because you weren't sure how often Garp talked to his son, so you wanted to tell Dragon about Luffy and what kind of person he was. Plus you had no doubt that Sabo would telling all the RA about his brothers when he got back. At the end of the letter you asked if he would go to his son rescue if he was to be executed simply because Luffy was his son, you do wonder if he would answer but if he didn't that was fine.

Leaning against the railing of the Red Force, you looked out over the sea just thinking about the boys and that in less than two years Ace will be setting off and Luffy in basically 5 year. There was a shadow looming over you and turning your head to the side to see your red hair lover and smiled at him.

Shanks lent his body against your back as he put his chin on top of your head asking what you were thinking about/staring at. You told him that you were just thinking how within the next 5 years both Ace and Luffy will be setting out to begin their pirate adventure.

You commented that you were going to be more grey than Beck by the time Ace starts sails and probably be losing hair by the time Luffy starts, from the stress all three boys are going to give you.

Shanks said you will look amazing even with grey hair, though you could feel him hold back his chuckle, so you elbowed himwhich had him laughing as he wrapped his arm around you.

For the first time in 5 years you felt like that you could truly relax as there was nothing for you to worry about for now, as your list had been completed and with that knowledge you drank more than you normally would.

At some point you ended up in bed, sleeping soundly while the rest of the crew were still on deck.

So while you felt at peace for once your sleeping mind decided against that as your mind started to replay the whole ordeal of Marineford again. This time the whole thing felt so real, like you could still feel the heat of battlefield and Ace body, hear everything as people shouted and clashing weapons as well smell things you wished to never smell again.

You woke suddenly with hands clamped over your mouth to stop yourself from crying/screaming so not to worry the crew as your memories were so jumbled up and didn't know what was real, making you begin to panic as you couldn't work out if Ace was alive or not.

The door to the cabin slammed open as Shanks busted through with Gryphon half drawn as he looked around cabin for the threat that had you in such terror and panic but all he saw was you shaking on the bed.

He sheathed Gryphon and was by your side instantly, taking hold of you and held you close as he asked what was wrong but all you heard was your mind screaming that Ace was dead, repeatedly.

Not getting an answer from you, he let go of you and then cupped your face so you would look at him as he asked again what happened. While waiting for you to answer he searched your eyes and saw terror and heartbreak in them.

As you tried to work out what memories were the true ones and seeing the worry over Shanks face had you walls crumbling as you whimpered out that he was dead, and you couldn't save him.

As gently as he could he asked who was dead and it took a few moment before you could even form a sentence as tears filled your eyes as you gave a sob that Ace was dead, your eldest boy was gone and his blood was on your hands.

Your hands grabbed his shirt and gripped it tightly as you sobbed as he pulled you in close as you cried in to his chest. He was doing his best clam you but waited till your sobs had lessen before soothingly telling you that Ace was okay, he was alive and well on Dawn with Luffy.

Hearing that you told him that couldn't be right, you held him in your arms as the warmth left his body but Shanks quietly shhed you and said it was only a nightmare, that Ace was indeed safe and in morning the two of you will ring them and talk to Ace to put your mind at ease.

It took a longer but he managed to calm you enough that you could think more clearly now as you worked through your memories till they were sorted out into real currents ones and ones from the past, with them sorted out you knew what Shanks said was true, that Ace was alive.

You knew that sharing this secret wasn't your place but you needed to tell Shanks, so you had someone else to tell your worries to. So moving slightly you turned to look at your red hair lover and told him you needed to him something important that must stay between the two of you.

He gave you a look and nodded, so taking a deep breath you told Shanks that Ace was Roger's son. He gave you a slight look of disbelief before asking if you were sure and how did you know. So you explained what Ace had told you and that he had been born in the south blue on Baterilla to Portgas D Rouge.

Shanks looking at you with surprise, he hadn't heard that name such a long and knew what you said was true, not that you would lie about with you reacted to your nightmare. He asked how Ace ended up on Dawn and told him that Garp arrived to Batreilla after Roger had asked to look after his son and took him after Rouge had named him and passed, hiding him away on Dawn.

Quiet settled over the room as Shank thought over what you just told him as he moved you around so you were leaning backward against him, allowing him to place his chin on top of your head. He ask how many people knew about his true parentage and you told him as far as you knew it was 6 people, obviously Ace, you, Garp, Luffy, Sabo and now himself.

You spoke how Ace didn't like talking Roger but his hatred for the man was no longer there after many talks that both you and Garp had with him. You told him that you kind of ripped Garp a new one and told him that he needed to do better for Ace but then told Shanks that when the two of them met, maybe he and Ace talk about his days on the Oro Jackson with Buggy or maybe Rouge, even if it was only some little things he knew.

Some time later you managed to fall back to sleep for a couple of hours being held by Shanks before being awoken by the sun coming through the window and after getting ready for the day, Shanks pulled you onto the deck where the some of the crew was working already. A few of them gave you a look but didn't say anything which you were grateful and once sitting at the table a den-den was put in front of you as as Shanks and Ace began to speak.

You were rubbing your face trying to wake up a little more while the two of them spoke until you heard Ace say again and could see Shanks stare at you from the corner of your eye as he handed you the snail. The two of you talked for a while and Ace even asked if you were going to tell him what happen and you replied no, it was nothing he needed to worry about, you know he doesn't believe you but didn't press you more about it this time.

When the called finished Shanks looked at you and asked about the other time that happen, so you told him about how you had been in port the same time asthe Moby when you had the nightmare and a couple of the commander on the Moby felt your distress/terror and came to check on you, then waited till morning before calling Ace to put your mind at ease.

He then enquired if you would tell about them about it and you answered in the future you might but for now telling him you've had nightmares of him dying was not something you were going to burden him with.

For the rest of the day you were told to relax and if you offered to help the crew would shoo you away or threaten to call Shanks on you.

Over the following 5 years while you spoke to Ace al ot, you only got see got to see him a few times, the March after he turned 16 and then when he came and found Shanks on the winter island thanking him for saving Luffy as a kid, it was still as cold as you remembered even with extra layers. You had been brimming with excitement and everyone had been giving you looks since setting foot on the island but you didn't pay attention to that.

When Ace arrived with his crew and introduced himself and his crew before looking at Shanks and thanked him for saving Luffy. With that done Shanks had said it was time for a banquet as you were up and in front of Ace, his face in your hands telling him that he should be wearing more clothes regardless of his devil fruit.

He just laughed and hugged you tightly before he saying he was fine and not to worry about him but you told him you were always going to worry about him, Sabo and Luffy no matter how old or experienced they get.

The rest of the night was spent eating, drinking and sharing stories. You told his crew some stories of Ace that had him covering his face in embarrassment.

Just before he left, you told Ace to be careful and not to cause you any more grey hair but you knew the next time you saw him, he would be a Whitebeard Pirate and 2nd Division commander.

While you knew roughly when he became the 2nd Division Commander you didn't remember exactly when so when Sabo appeared randomly, which he likes to do and give you little heart attacks when he does, he mentioned it to you and you gave a tight smile which made Sabo and the crew laugh as they said poor Ace, knowing you would chew him out when you saw him next.

So when both the Moby and Red Force were in the same vicinity you managed to go on the Moby after getting permission to board with Shanks behind you. Whitebeard asked what was the reason for this impromptu meeting and Shanks said this was all you, he was just here to watch the show.

You stood in front of Whitebeard and asked if you could talk to his 2nd Division Commander as you had a bone to pick with him. There was a deep sigh to your left, making you looked at Marco who asked what had he done now and you told him it what he hasn't done, which earned you confused and curious looks.

Almost as if summon the man in question came out onto the deck followed by a couple of others and as soon as he saw you, he froze and gave a sheepish smile. You called him by his full name walking up to him till you were in front of him and began to chew him out, asking why you had to learn from Sabo that he had been promoted to 2nd Division Commander that was something he should of you about himself.

This went on for a few minutes before telling him how proud of him you were but not to do it again, both him and Sabo were trying to make him grey before Luffy even set sails. That had him laughing as he said that you and Beck could match which resulted in you hitting his arm with haki and then called him a little shit.

Once you finished telling Ace off you turned and looked up at Whitebeard before telling him to look after your eldest boy or else. That had the older pirate raising an eyebrow at you and asked if that a threat, but you told him it was promise even you couldn't actually do anything to him that doesn't mean you wouldn't try if meant your boy safe and protected.

Ace quickly asked what you doing, concern in his voice and you told him to shush this was between his parents. Both yourself and Whitebeard stared at each other for a good few moments before Whitebeard started laughing and told you that Ace will safe with him and the crew, then announced there would be a party which had crew cheering.

Both crews were having great time, drinking, swapping stories and singing loudly off-key. You were sitting next to Shanks telling some of the WB crew some childhood stories about Ace which had him telling you to stop before grabbing his drink and headed over to some of other crew mates, which made you chuckle.

Most of the time you had your observation haki trained on Ace but when ever you looked over at him he laughing loudly and smiling brightly, which made you feel so happy to see. Standing up you told Shanks you would be back in moment and headed over to where Ace was leaning against the railing as he drunk from his tankard.

As you closer you that Ace stopped laughing as his doped eyes and lent backward going over the railing down into the water below. Reacting on instinct you drove down in the water as you heard your name being shouted. In the water you were looking around till you noticed that Ace sinking lower and swam down to him before grabbing him and pulling him up to the surface.

As you surfaced you took a breath and could heard commotion above you as you swam back to the side of the Moby as a rope was lowered down and you tied it around Ace, getting him up first before it lowered again and you grabbed it, pulling yourself up while the rope was always pulled up.

On the deck of the Moby, you checked on Ace who was now coughing up seawater and asked what happen as Marco and one of the nurse looked him over. You let the breath you holding out as you turned to the right to see Shanks there, so turning fully to your captain he gave you a stern look and said just because you were going grey doesn't mean you need to make him grey as well with recklessly jumping into the sea.

Grinned at him you said Pot meet kettle, as he did the same thing with luffy, and that the two of you could be matching lovers with grey hair which had him sighing as he watched you shiver standing still and wrapped his cape around you tightly. Thanking him you gave him a kiss and turned back to Ace, hand on hip as you softly scold him and Ace began to protested that he had a sleep attack and shouldn't be scold for that.

You raised an eyebrow at Ace before pointing at him, telling him that the more he and Sabo make you grey, the more you're going to make Shanks grey. There was choke behind you as heard your lover voice tell Ace to not make you more grey, he couldn't lose his beautiful red locks, that had the Red Force crew laughing as well as Whitebeard and some of his crew.

The rest of the party went without anymore incidents and the following morning just before the Red-Force and Moby parted ways, you stood in front of Ace and pinched his cheeks, telling him that if anything happen at all to call you cause if you hear information 2nd hand again, you will be coming for his ass.

Ace pulled free of your pinching hold before saying he would do his best to inform you in the future as he rubbed his sore cheeks now. You eyed him up before turning turning to Whitebeard, Marco and Izou and told them if he does something stupid give him a smack from you.

Hearing Ace protest again saying that you never give Sabo such a hard time had you laughing as you told him that cause he uses his brain something and knows Koala will kick his ass if does anything stupid, so you needed someone here to make sure he didn't do anything stupid.

There was a sharp whistle that told you that it was time to go, so you told him that to take care, not do anything stupid and call once a month at or you will being calling his Pops.

Once back on the Red Force and you were leaning against the railing watching as the Moby got smaller as the ship sailed away. You felt something on your head and so tilted your head backwards to see red lock.

Shanks asked what you were thinking about and told him just about how happy Ace was with Whitebeard and the crew, that he found the right place for him to be. He gave a little hum at your answer then teased that Whitebeard was Ace's favourite parent now. You gave a little laugh and told him that was because he didn't have embarrassing childhood stories like you did but if Ace wanted to put Whitebeard at top you were fine with that, you would always love him not matter what.

The silence that fell between the two of you was broken by Beck telling you both to get to work, there were things to be done. Shanks muttered that he was Captain and this was a munity. You just laughed at him and patted his arm, saying that even Captains have to work sometimes.

Time soon flew by and before you knew it Luffy had set sail and would be picking up his first four crew mates so that meant his first bounty poster wouldn't be much longer. Oh you couldn't wait till Mihawk showed up with bounty poster in hand, and just like the first time it felt like your youngest was giving you more grey hairs than either Ace or Sabo.

When Mihawk arrived with the poster you took and grinned at it before asking where it should be placed on ship, maybe now was a good time to do a wall of bounties for every time the boys bounty goes up, you had been collecting Ace ones and Sabo had yet to have one, that you knew of you of anyway.

You were on deck chilling, having just woken up after being on night duty for a few nights and as the sea was calm, everyone was also enjoying the peacefulness of the afternoon when the den-den went off breaking the quiet. Answering the snail you were greeted to the voice of your eldest boy.

Hearing any of the boys made you smile knowing that meant they were alive and well. You asked him what the impromptu call was for, as he had spoken to you not that long ago and as far you knew there nothing important happening with Whitebeard pirates.

Eyeing the den-den suspiciously you asked where he currently was and heard something in the background before sighing asking if he was with Luffy. Given you knew where Luffy was currently you weren't sure why Ace was in Alabasta, so taking a deep breath you asked your eldest why he was in Alabasta.

The surprised look that the den-den and some of your own crew mates gave made you sigh as well as kind of want to hit your head on the table a few times, did they really think you didn't keep tabs on them, especially Luffy given he didn't have own den-den anymore, plus you had already lived this and had the advantage of roughly knowing where Luffy would be.

Getting over the surprise quickly Ace asked how you knew that and so you informed him that you kept some tabs on all three of them, especially Luffy as he didn't have den-den to call you on and was giving you more grey hair than Shanks did to Beck, you then asked if Ace could get a new one for Luffy if he didn't have a one already.

You then asked why he was in Alabasta and he mention that there had been rumours that someone had been talking about being the one that killed Teach. That took you by surprise, you weren't expecting Ace to have anything to do about Teach as he never met the man thankfully, so when you asked why he was the one doing this, he didn't know the man so wouldn't one of the other commanders of been better.

Ace explained that Pops did ask some of the other commanders first but he volunteered cause while he didn't know the Teach he had been a apart of the 2nd division and felt the need to do it, plus he got to see Luffy so it was a win.

It seemed that Luffy impatience got the better of him as you heard a hard thump before Luffy voice came through and began talking a mile a minute as normal when he was excited. You smiled at the snail just happy to hear his voice after a few months of not hearing it. You gave little hums as he spoke telling you excitedly of everything that had happen upon setting sail.

When he finished telling his story, you told him how proud of him you were for getting this far and to be careful in Alabasta as Sir Crocodile was the Warlord there and not to cause to much trouble that Luffy ends up on his radar, though you're fully aware of what Luffy will do Crocodile.

Hearing his signature 'shi shi shi' you knew he had just disregarded everything you had said to him. Sighing you told him that you expected a call from him once a month from now on, that it doesn't need to be long just a 'hi I'm alive' will do as you worry even though you knew he was capable of fighting, just like you did with his brother.

When the call ended you were happy and hoped that Luffy or at least one of his crew for him will call once a month. You would like it if Luffy could somehow get a vivre card done so you have a piece of him with you always but weren't sure how as it needed his hair or nails, you could always get Ace or Sabo to get some of his hair but that was something for later to think about.

Yasopp teased how much of a mother hen you were, even though the boys were 17 and 20 now. You looked at the sniper and smiled at him telling him at least your boys knew you loved them and would die for them that more he could say, who actively avoiding his own son but you could can ring Ace back and have Ussop come on and he can talk to his son and after all these years he missed.

That had him looking at you with wide eyes as your hand hovered over the den-den before he said now was not the time and before you could say anything back, Shanks walked out on to the deck and took one look at the scene between you & Yasopp, sighing and told you to stop antagonising the man.

You just looked at him and smiled saying you were only offering him the chance to talk to his son, nothing wrong with that now was there. Shanks shook his head before asking what trouble had Luffy gotten himself into now, you grinned and told him you would tell him later on, as there was a lot.

The next time you heard about Luffy was over a week later with his bounty increasing after the defeat of Crocodile, which made you feel very proud as you pinned up his new bounty and then its not till roughly a month later that you get more news about Luffy and his crew, attacking Ennie Lobby and declaring war on the World Government.

When you read that you couldn't help but laugh as you showed the paper to Shanks and Beck, as you called Luffy your little terrorist, causing the senior officers to laugh. It was a day later when both Ace and Sabo rang to tell you about Luffy as if you hadn't read the paper but you let them ramble on as you teased Ace that his youngest brother is coming for his bounty and probably beat it soon, that had Ace grumbling about making sure Lu bounty doesn't get higher than him.

Sabo reaction to Lu bounty was to laugh and say in a few years time it was probably gonna have a bigger bounty than Dragon and couldn't wait for that to be able to tease Ace about it. You told him as long you were no where near when he doe it that fine, as you didn't need watch as the two of them destroy some poor little island.

Hearing that comment your blonde boy started to protest saying that they weren't that bad before you cut in and told him that they were that bad, especially when they were trying to one up each other and now that they're older and stronger more things get destroy.

As time went on you got a calls from Luffy crew mainly letting you know he was fine and what you were always thankful for. You have wondered what was going to happen now that Marineford wouldn't, but you couldn't shake the feeling that something was still gonna happen to him and his crew.

You were busy doing your duties when someone called for you saying that one of your boys was asking for you. Stopping what you were doing you went to it and found that it was Sabo asking if you had spoken to Luffy and when you said no told you hasn't, Sabo informed you that the Luffy and his had been separated, as Robin was with the RA currently after they helped her escape.

Worry went through you hearing this, you knew it would happen but you had no idea what had happen this time and that scared you a little scared as you were slowly making your way into new territory of not knowing what will happen now. The silence that fell on you was broken by Sabo asking if you were okay and you told him that you were okay just worried even though you knew he could take care of himself and hopefully he'll make some sort of contact soon to ease your worry.

Sabo told you that if he or Ace find anything out they will call you right away. You smiled at the snail and thanked him before telling him you loved him and take care.

Over the next couple of weeks you felt on edge as you waited to hear that Luffy was either with Rayleigh or that one of his brother had found or heard from him.

When you finally got the call that telling you that Luffy was safe and with Rayleigh your whole body just released all the tension and worry you had been carrying as you flopped down on the bed, as you thanked the seas.

The whole time that Luffy was with Rayleigh training, all the information you got was from either Sabo or Ace, which you were grateful for, you just wished that Luffy would of called you once or twice. During that time Ace was able to get what was needed for vivre card for Luffy and when it was done Ace came and handed you a piece of it.

You wrote Luffy name on it and put it in a little glass bottle so nothing could happen before placing it with the other two vivre pieces you had stored, all three boys were together again even if it was only by pieces of paper.

When you got news that Luffy and his crew had reunited and started on their journey again you were happy as you couldn't wait to hear of what he gets up to now.

Hearing how helped Fishman Island and then how he took Doflamingo down, freeing Dressrosa from the Warlord control made you so proud of him. When you learn that he had met Big Mom and crushed one ofher tea party, you did worry a little given she was an emperor of the sea but believed in him.

It only now that after you leant that Ace was in Wano with Marco and Izou, and few other Whitebeard crew member along with the Straw-hats, Heart pirates and Kid pirates. It was when Ace told you that Luffy was going to fight Kaido and that by sunrise the battle would be over to see if Wano would finally free or not, did your panic set in.

Grabbing the bottle that held his vivre piece, you kept it tightly in your hand fist as you sent a silent pray to seas that your youngest would okay.

Shanks did what he could to lessen your panic and worry but knowing that Anchor was going against Kaido had him and the crew that knew him on edge a little.

You were sat the table watching as the piece of paper got smaller before it stopped and then started to get bigger again, seeing that you let a sigh of relief, that Luffy was doing okay for the moment and hoped that he had won his fight, but given it's Kaido he was fighting against Luffy was probably resting. It wasn't long before the piece was getting smaller again, so you knew he was was back in the fight again.

The scream you never wished for again rips from your throat as you watched the piece of paper turn into ash, you cried and plead that this wasn't happening, you couldn't do this again, you couldn't lose another boy not now, not after everything you did to keep your boys alive and together again.

A burst of conqueror haki went over ship as Shanks placed his arm around you pulling you in close as he got his haki under control even though it threatened to burst out knowing that Kaido had killed Anchor. The senior officer were just as shocked at the thought of the little boy with the bright smile they had befriend and claiming he was going to be king of the pirates was gone.

Shanks told the men to set course for Wano, they wouldn't get there for at least a few days but they could offer help once they get and no doubt Whitebeard would be heading there due to his sons being there.

The next few minutes were the longest of your life, as you stared at the little bottle in hand, trying to will the paper to reform for Luffy to be alive. You asked yourself why were you never there when your boys needed you, why were you so far from them to be able to help.

Closing your eyes and cupping the bottle in both hands placing it again your forehead, as you thought about Ace how he was handling this, was he ready to go for Kaido head for Luffy, was Marco trying to reign in him somehow, how were the rest of the Strawhats doing. Then you thought of Sabo and how he was gonna deal when he heard the news, would he feel how you felt being so far from being able to help.

Opening your eyes and stared at the table for a moment before pulling your hands to eye level and open them. A gasp left your mouth as the bottle hit the table and rolled across coming to a stop near the edge.

There in the bottle was a reform piece of paper, that also had a glow to it, as if nothing had happened. Shakenly you grabbed the bottle brought it to you, pure relief and happiness run through you as you gave a cry that Luffy was alive, as tears wettened your cheeks.

The crew looked at you with shock before Shanks let a laughed out, as he said that Luffy was doing the impossible once again which the had rest crew a laughing and agreeing with him. His body relaxed as well he then pulled you in to close again and told you that everything was going to be fine.

When the sun rose your den-den was in hand ready to call Ace as you knew he most likely wouldn't call you with everything that was most likely happening. You hadn't slept yet and knew you weren't going to until you spoke to him or with someone he was with at the very least.

A couple of the crew member asked when you were going call as you just kept staring at the snail, you told them you were waiting for a little while longer, giving them time to wake up after the good long sleep they need.

A cup with some hot in it was placed in front of you, and looking up from the snail you thank Lucky for it a smile. Taking the cup in hand you blow on it a little before taking a sip and letting the hot drink begin to warm you.

When you felt that enough time had now passed you rang Ace, it took a while before someone answered and relief washed over you again as it was Ace, who sounded as if just woken up.

The whole crew seemed to stop what they were doing so they could listen, while both Shanks & Beck came and stood either side of you.

You asked if it was over and it took him a couple of second to realise he was talking to you, as his response was not to answer your question but tell you that Luffy was alive and healing but he was sleeping and they weren't sure yet when he would be waking.

The whole crew let out a collective sigh out hearing that Luffy was fine, Ace then said that he had beaten Kaido while Kid and Law beat Big Mom. You asked what had happened with Luffy as you watched his vivre card burn up before it somehow reformed it from ashes.

There was an intake of breath from Ace as he then began to tell you what happened starting with theraid, how Sanji and Zoro defeated Queen and King, talked about the other Strawhats and then Yamato. You knew he was trying to take as long as possible before having to tell you about Luffy and Kaido fight.

As he retold the fight, you stared at the snail in disbelief as both Shanks and Beck rest a hand on your shoulders, to either ground you or to stop you from going to Wano on sheer will-power alone to scold Luffy. When quietly he mentioned that after Luffy vivre card brunt he had gone to fight Kaido, Shanks removed his hand from your shoulder and placed it over your mouth, knowing what was likely to come out of it if he didn't, now you knew that Ace went again him.

Ace explained that Luffy had awaken his devil fruit and that was when his vivre card reform he had to guess, then talked about his new form and everything he did in it.

You had your hands were on either side of the you face as you were trying to processes everything that you had been told, while Shanks was talking to Ace and heard Ace say he would come and get you when the Red Force got closer to Wano.

As you came up for air you stared at the snail confused before asking what which had Ace laughing a little saying he was still trying to wrap his head around it as well and said he would see ya soon as he ended the call.

The crew then went back to what they had been doing before the call as Shanks then chose to herd you back to the cabin and told you sleep. You tried to tell him that you were fine and could do your normal duties but he wasn't having any of it and told you none of your boys would like it if you didn't sleep.

You just scowled at him for using the boys against you, as you took your cloak off and got into bed, telling him that was a low blow and he just smiled as it worked and said he was a pirate, he didn't have to fight fair.

The Red Force arrived off the coast of Wano a week after speaking to Ace and upon seeing the island, your excitement grew knowing that you were gong to be Luffy soon, you just hoped that he had woken up as Ace had called two more times, telling you that Luffy was still asleep.

While everyone else were out on deck, both you and Shanks were in the cabin with him going over some maps while you were trying to distract from his work, which was working better than Shanks would like to admit as he pulled you against him and called you distracting devil, kissing you.

There was a knock on the door which popped the little love bubble the both of you were in as you were told that Ace was here. Shanks sighed knowing that your time together was over as you kissed him and left the cabin, to go greet your eldest.

Stepping out on to the deck, you smiled watching Ace talk with some of the crew for a few second before he turned and saw you, giving a large smile as he came over and hugged you.

He then informed you that Luffy had woken up that morning so he didn't know that you were coming, so knowing you'll get to surprise him made this even better.

As you bid Shank goodbye being all lovey-dovey with each other, you could hear the crew gagging at you both with Ace joining in with them. You turned and gave them all a sharp as you told Ace you had blackmail in the form of embarrassing stories so he had better behave himself.

Soon the two of you were on Ace's striker and heading back to the Flower Capital, where you would get to see Luffy. On the way there you asked if he had spoken to Sabo and letting him know that Luffy was okay. There was a slight pause before said he had spoken him to say that Luffy was okay, though it was mostly Koala who seemed to do the talking for him.

Thankfully it didn't take a long as you were expecting it but still took a while to get to the Flower Capital. This was your first time ever being Wano and it was more beautiful than you imagined it would be.

The first two people you saw were Marco and Izou, and you were so happy to see that both men were doing okay, Izou looked a little more battered with bandages peeking from under his clothes but was in good spirits. You spoke with them both for a little while before Ace was dragging you away.

You chided him for his manners, as you were in the middle of a conversation but he told you there would be time for that later ae he said you had changed before seeing Luffy as they were celebrating Kaido defeat now Luffy and Zoro was awake.

Asking why you needed to change, you were perfectly fine in your current clothes but Ace just said that everyone was going to be in Kimonos. So with that he pushed you into a room that had a couple of people in who came over and helped you change into something more fitting of a festival.

When you came out of the room Ace was smiling at you and said you now looked the part. Hearing that you just sent him a look that said you were unimpressed and said you weren't afraid to smack him.

He just laughed at that as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders, grinning as he pulled you along, taking you somewhere else without telling you anything. You got told to wait for a moment as he went in to a store as he had something waiting for you.

So you did as asked and waited for him to come back, looking around at different the kimonos that people were wearing. Hearing your name being called you turned round to face your eldest but instead came face to face with Sabo.

You stared at him with wide eyes for a few moments before pulling him into your arms and hugged him tightly before pulling back and asking what he as doing here. He smiled telling you that after nearly having panic attack and falling to his knees sobbing over Luffy vivre card burning up and Koala having to give slap him to get to him to listen her as she tried to get through to him, that he was able to think and see that the vivre card had reformed he pulled himself together and went into Chief of Staff mode and started to get information on what was happening.

When he found out that Luffy had fought and defeated Kaido, he decided that he was coming to Wano to see for himself that his chaotic little brother was good and had been there a few days now.

You asked if he had seen Luffy and got told only when he was still asleep but not seen him since woke up yet. So turning to Ace you asked when were you getting to see your youngest and Ace promised it would be soon, he just spending some time with his crew first.

The three of you walked for a while, allowing you to look at some of stalls around, picking a little something for your loveable red hair idiot until Ace announced that he was going to meet with Luffy and his crew soon, so it was time go. Getting close to the meeting place you could hear the tell-tell laugh of your youngest and saw that his back was to you.

Using that to your advantage, you crossed your arms and called his full name before asking what the hell he had been doing. Watching as his head snapped up and turned to look at you with surprise before grinning widely at you and slingshot himself to you calling your name as he wrapped his arms around you and hugging you tightly.

You hugged him back tightly for a while before you heard Sabo saying something but just hugged Luffy tighter for a few more seconds before stepping backward and having a good look at him, then pulled his cheeks outs and processed to scold in front of his crew and friends for how many greys hairs he had given you before pulling him into tight hug again and whispered to him to not die on you again, your heart couldn't take that again.

Hearing his shishishi as said he had to become King of the Pirates and give Shanks his hat first that. While that didn't really settle your nerves it was best you were currently going to get out of him, you let him go and allow Sabo to do his big brother thing to Luffy.

While those two were doing their brother reunion, you looked over at the Strawhat crew and took in each of them. So while both Sabo and now Ace as well, were telling Luffy off for being so reckless, the irony wasn't lost on you there, you walked over to the Strawhats.

You greeted Jimbi first having met the fishman before and then introduced yourself to the others and thanked them for looking out for Luffy, knowing what is he was like and not being able to say no to any kind of a adventure, that got a little chuckle from them as you then said at least they didn't have to worry about trying to rein in all three brothers as they were even more crazy and feral when all together.

Some of the crew seem to shudder at that thought and the brothers stopped fighting with each other as they looked at you and said they really weren't that bad, you just turned and looked at them with a deadpan look telling them not to live to your face.

They tried to protest that but you made a hand gesturer telling them to zip it and they just gave a look that you were sure they learnt from the bandits. Shaking your head at them you turned back the Strawhats and began talking to them again.

Sometime later Marco and Izou joined the group, as wells aa a few other that you're introduced to such as Yamato, who was Kaido son, Otama who both Ace and Luffy as claimed as their little sister, Kiku who was Izou sister and then the true Shogun of Wano and his sister, Monosuke and Hiyori.

At one point during the early evening you were sitting next to Sabo, talking and watching how Ace was interacting with both Marco and Yamato. There was defiantly something going on between them so with a little bit more of intense watching, you turned to Sabo said 500 berries on Marco as Sabo looked at you with a grin and said same on Yamato, having spent more time watching the two of them.

You both shook hands at the same time Ace turned and looked at you both, so you just smiled at him and gave a little wave. He raised an eyebrow at you both for a few second before turning back around and went back to talking to both men in the bet.

By late evening you had somehow managed to get your hand on camera and get a photo of you and the boys, it was about time you got an updated one.

The rest of the time you were in Wano both you and Sabo were keeping an eye on who Ace, to see who would win the bet but neither of you were able to tell yet.

It was only when you were waiting to leave, after having hugged both Luffy and Sabo one more time, you looked over to where Ace and Marco were from the corner of your eye to see a little bit affection as Marco had his head down next to Ace ear with his fingers on Ace waist. So why that wasn't a definitive answer yet, you were pretty sure that this bet would end in your favour.

After bidding everyone who had come to see you off one more goodbye you got on Striker and started heading back to the Red Force. You enjoyed seeing your boy, and getting to meet the Strawhats but you couldn't waited to get back and tell the crew about and Luffy and his crew.

When the Red Force finally came in to view you smile and wondered how long it would take for someone to tell Shanks you were on the way. It was only a few minutes later till you noticed red hair looking out and waving.

Ace asked how he was Yonko when he seemed to act like an over excited child. That made you laugh knowing that Ace had never seen Shanks truly fight and you weren't even sure if he had even felt Shanks conqueror haki, so had only seen his carefree side. So you explained that seeing any other side of Shanks means someone had fucked up and tried hurt someone he cared for/was under his protection, so this was the side he would want to see.

With an opportunity to tease him, you asked if wouldn't he want a partner was that carefree and relaxed but could instantly turned in to dangerous person if it meant protecting him. Turning your head to look at him you could red on his cheek what had you smiling as you reached the Red Force.

A rope ladder was thrown down and looking at Ace smiling you thanked him for the ride then began to climb up and got pulled over the railing. You greeted the crew before turning to look down at Ace and told him that you loved him, were proud of him and to tell Sabo he owed you 500 berries.

Upon hearing that last part Ace asked what you meant and told him not to worry about it as it was something between you and Sabo. He gave you a slightly confused okay before saying bye with a wave as his flames came to life powering the striker once again, and before he was to far you called out telling him to call if anything changes, anything at all.

Once he was gone you turned to the left and saw Shanks, Beck and Lucky were giving you a look, as Shanks asked what that was about and told them you had a beat with Sabo on who Ace was dating or at least attracted to anyway.

Shanks just laughed, while Beck asked who you placed a bet on and you grinned at the first-mate and said Marco, that seemed to have Shanks laughing even more. You sighed and shook your head at your over grown child of a lover and told them you would be back in a moment and to get the alcohol out, as you were going to tell the about Luffy and Strawhats.

The whole crew were cheering as you headed inside to the cabin to place your bag down. Once inside you placed the bag on the bed and took out the frame photo and placed it on your bedside table before smiling at it and heading back out on to the deck.

The photo sat there proudly, as a remainder everyday of everything you had done, since being killed and coming back to past to ensure that your boys were alive and all together again.

There in the frame was you sitting in the middle with Ace and Sabo on both side of you with Luffy standing behind you with his arms wrapped round the three of you, with the four of you beaming at the camera as fireworks went off in the background.

Maybe a walk through the gardens, alone so late at night, isn't the best idea you've ever had.

You shiver, the thin fabric of your pajamas offering you little protection from the chill of the Devildom's unending night. You probably should have changed before coming out here, or at least brought a jacket, but you hadn't thought about that. Really, you hadn't thought much at all when you'd fled your room, except that you needed to get out, now, right now, or you were going to suffocate under the weight of your own thoughts.

Of course, now you're alone with your thoughts and cold.

At least it feels a little easier to breathe out here in the fresh air. The cool is soothing against your aching, tear-shot eyes. You feel the restlessness coiled in your muscles dissipating a little with each soft rustle of soil beneath your feet.

One step after another, you wind your way through the rose-dotted hedges, as if hoping that getting lost in the labyrinthine greenery will make you feel less lost in your head. The full moon glows brightly above you, lighting your way. It's larger here than in the human world, or maybe just closer. If you shut your eyes, you can picture it getting even closer still -- bigger, heavier, sinking, falling, pressing down, down, down, until the luminous weight of it could just crush you where you stand, and --

"MC? What are you doing out here so late?"

Your eyes fly open, startled, and you find yourself greeted by an equally startled-looking Lucifer, just now arriving home. Lines of dark ichor drip around his face, and when he quickly moves to wipe them from your view, it's to little success as you realize his gloves, along with all the rest of his uniform, are just as bloodied.

You want to comment on that fact, but he beats you to it, face full of worry as he rushes up to you. "Wait, you've been crying. What's wrong?"

Your lip trembles with trepidation. As much as you love him, you don't usually confess all your concerns so easily. But neither can you keep it in anymore; you've been drowning in these feelings all night, and they're about to spill out whether you want them to or not.

"I don't want to go back."

He puts an arm around you, puzzled but concerned, and you latch onto him like a lifeline. As the tears start to well up again, you bury your face against his viscera-soaked coat, and awkwardly, he wraps you into a comforting embrace, trying his best not to get the splatter onto you. After a moment, though, he quickly gives up on those efforts, deciding to just hug you tighter, blood on his chest be damned. It doesn't matter if you get the stains on you too -- right now, you just need this. You need him.

"I know the exchange program is only for a year, and then I'm supposed to go home -- right? It's coming up really, really soon. And I should be happy about that, because the human world was my home, and my whole life got left behind when I got pulled down here, and -- I think most people would miss it. Most people would want to go back, wouldn't they? But -- I don't. I don't want to go back! I was never happy in the human world!"

You cling to him harder as you talk, afraid to let go, as if the moment you do, everything around you will disappear. But the ever-assured Avatar of Pride's embrace is solid and warm around you, and he doesn't make any move to pull away. So, through haggard breath, you continue.

"I was never happy there like I've been happy here. I never fit in there. But this is the Devildom, and I'm a human, not a demon, and -- it's not like I can stay, right? In the end, I'm just a guest here, and guests are supposed to go home. But the closer it gets, the more it feels like there's nowhere for me to go. If I have to leave, I don't have a place that feels like home! I don't belong anywhere else!"

As you keep spilling the thoughts that have been plaguing you all night, he stays there, holding you patiently, listening quietly and letting your sobs hiccup against him. Gradually, little by little, your fingers stop gripping the fabric of his uniform quite so tightly. You let yourself relax into him a little more. You're not ready to let go just yet, but he doesn't ask you to. And finally, when it seems like you've calmed down, your breaths soft and steadied into his shoulder, he starts to speak.

"You know, we're here now, but back when we were angels, I used to call the Celestial Realm my home. It was the only one I'd ever known. And it is beautiful there -- how light falls on everything to give it warmth. I almost think I miss it, sometimes."

Lucifer's words are slow and careful, as if piecing together a confession that he's never let himself put into words before. He pauses, letting the admission linger in the air for a moment, then sighs.

"I don't miss it, though, not really. I wasn't happy there. There were problems, doubts that I ignored for a long time, until I couldn't ignore them anymore. What I feel is a sickness for a home I've never been. The Celestial Realm isn't actually that place that I miss. After we were cast out, what mattered was that my brothers and I belonged together. We made a new home here, as a family."

He holds you tight, pressing a gentle, reassuring kiss to the top of your head.

"And if you think you're just a guest to us, you're sorely mistaken. You're part of our family now too. I'll talk to Diavolo tomorrow. We'll figure it out. Because if that's how you feel, then this is your home too -- with us."

give him a kiss on the cheek in front of somebody else and he will blush furiously and not know where to look

in the beginning you very often ask if it’s alright to hold hands or anything more than that but very quickly he assures you that you don’t have to ask

it’s just so cute when you two walk around arm in arm and chat about whatever, in your own little world

because it’s very subtle and casual but also it is a lovely physical closeness

he soon realizes that he really loves having you close; it feels very comforting and safe

his weakness is when you hold his face in your hands

you especially do that when you’re trying to reassure him about something and he WILL believe your every word

I think his love language is mostly acts of service so you two are not the same in that regard but he actually really likes the ways that you show him love - it’s very palpable and very real and it’s there 

Sam is the number one fan of your hugs and swears that they can cure anything, especially if one of your hands winds up in his honey colored hair

Leaked- Part 1

You were struggling trying to get the key into the lock of your apartment door while also balancing the bags of groceries in your hands. Today was already stressful enough and this was the last thing you needed. Before you could react you felt the bag you were balancing on your left hip slip down and when it hit the floor you heard a crack knowing it was the jarred spaghetti sauce that you needed for your dinner tonight. That was the final blow to your already hurt feelings and tears instantly started falling.

You gave up on the lock and slid down on the floor letting out all of the emotions you had been holding in all day. You were so upset that you didn’t notice the footsteps that walked up next to you. You were only made aware of their presence when you heard a deep voice, “Excuse me miss. Are you okay? Do you need any help?” You looked up and saw Jin of BTS standing above you. You peaked around him and saw the other six members all staring down at you with concerned looks. You immediately felt your cheeks heat up from embarrassment. Here you were disheveled and looking like a mess crying on the floor of your apartment building in front of your favorite band. You didn’t think your luck could get any worse.

Quickly you stood up cleaning yourself off and trying to look presentable. “Yeah I’m just having a really bad day and I can’t get my door to open and I dropped my dinner on the floor.”, you said with a chuckle. You watched Yoongi walk over and start pulling on the key. “Man you really have that key jammed in there. You’ll probably have to call maintenance to come out and fix it.” His words hit you like a brick because really you wanted nothing more than to take a shower and get in bed but now you’ll have to wait on the maintenance worker who you know will probably take a few hours to get there. You nodded your head, “Thank you for trying. I’ll give them a call.”

You watched the seven guys all give you a sad smile before entering the apartment next to yours. You called out to the maintenance department and just like you thought they said it would be a few hours to get out there so with nowhere else to go you sat down on the ground in front of your apartment to wait. Now that you finally had a moment to think it hit you. “Wait a minute. Am I neighbors with BTS?”, you said out loud to yourself. Or so you thought.

“Yeah we just moved in a couple days ago.”, Namjoon spoke. You looked up and saw him standing in the door way. You tried your best to hide the embarrassment on your face. “We were wondering if you wanted to come in and eat dinner with us. You mentioned you dropped yours and we have more than enough to share.”, he said. Shaking your head, “Oh no it’s okay. I don’t want to be a burden.” Suddenly Hoseok poked his head out from behind Namjoon, “Nonsense. Come on in.”

Reluctant you got back off of the floor and followed in behind them. “I’m so sorry. We never got your name.”, Hoseok spoke handing you a drink. “Oh that’s right. It’s Y/N.”, you replied before taking a seat next to Jimin who was patting the spot next to him. Jungkook handed you a plate and you started grabbing a few items before settling back into your spot. “I hope this isn’t weird. I mean, us inviting you to dinner. It just looked like you were having a really hard day.”, Jin spoke. “No it’s not weird at all. I’m actually a pretty big fan so this is like a dream come true.” Over dinner you got to know each other. You told them how you just graduated from a university and about your job and they told you how they were having a house built for the seven of them to share but it wasn’t quite finished yet and the lease was up at their old place so they were staying there for the next couple months since that was the only place they could rent on such short notice. The whole experience was surreal. You were kind of sad when the maintenance person got there because it meant it was all over. You half expected to wake up in bed realizing it was all a dream.

What you didn’t expect was for the group to invite you over for dinner or hang out several times over the next few weeks. Overtime you developed a friendly relationship with the group.

It was a Saturday afternoon and you were making your way into the company building. The boys had invited you to come see their new house that was just about finished and to make it easier everyone thought it would be better for you to just meet them there instead of having to drive back to the apartment. Walking through the halls you ran into Namjoon and he greeted you with a smile, “Y/N I’m so glad you’re here. I could actually use your opinion on something.” You happily obliged and followed him into his studio where Yoongi and Jimin were also sitting. You greeted both of them before turning your attention to Namjoon.

He spoke, “As you know Y/N our new album is coming out soon but we’re starting to second guess one of the songs. We just don’t know if it fits and we’re wondering what you think.” You were flabbergasted that they were coming to you for opinions on their music and that they were willing to let you hear some of it before it had even been released. All you could do was nod and wait for Namjoon to hit play on his computer. The melody came through first followed by the lyrics all of which you thought were incredible. Once the song ended they looked to you. “I think it sounds amazing. The lyrics really tell a great story. It’ll definitely be a number one hit.”, you said. “Well if Y/N thinks it’s a good song then we have to keep it on the album.”, Jimin said before standing up making you giggle and blush.

“We’re gonna go get the rest of the guys and then we’ll head out to the new house. You’re welcome to just hang out here. We should only be a few minutes.”, Namjoon advised and you agreed. You sat back down and looked around the room. Still after all these months you couldn’t believe how your luck turned around and you were now sitting in Namjoon’s studio giving your musical opinion to your favorite band. A few minutes later you could hear a ruckus outside the door and you knew that meant the guys were ready to go.

Their new house was incredible. It was huge and had so much space for them to create and have their own hobbies. You were so happy for them to have this much success but you couldn’t help the little bit of sadness you felt. Once they were no longer your neighbors you knew you’d never see them again and everything would go back to the way it was. You must’ve been doing a terrible job at hiding your feelings because Taehyung came over and put his arm around you, “Noona why do you look so sad? Is it the carpeting? I told them that carpeting was a bad idea.” You couldn’t help but chuckle, “No I’m just going to miss you guys when you move in here and I never see you again.” You could hear the scoffs coming from guys who were now all surrounding you after noticing how upset you got. “That won’t happen. We’re still going to be friends and you’re welcome here any time.”, Jungkook said. You smiled causing all seven to pull you in for a group hug.

Over the next few days you were pretty busy and so were the guys so you didn’t talk much. You wanted to do something nice for them before they moved so you pulled out your phone to text them and invite them over for dinner and that’s when you saw all the text messages,

Namjoon: We need to talk immediately. Let me know how quickly you can get here.

Yoongi: How could you? We trusted you. We let you hear these songs before anyone else.

Jimin: I’m really disappointed in you Y/N. I thought you were different.

You were so confused as to what was happening and that’s when you saw the text from Jin. It included a link to a news article. Clicking on the link you almost immediately felt sick as you read the headline

You were devastated. You knew how hard they worked on that album and you felt awful that it was leaked without their consent but you had nothing to do with it. You weren’t very tech savvy and wouldn’t have been able to download the album and release it even if you wanted to especially in just the little bit of time you were alone in Namjoon’s studio. Quickly you got a group chat between yourself and the members set up,

You: I’m so sorry this happened to you guys but I promise I had nothing to do with it. I would never do that to you. I swear on everything. Did you guys see if maybe someone at the company leaked it? You guys did mention that a former employee that was fired kept coming back and threatening to ruin the company for letting him go.

It didn’t take long for the texts to come filtering in,

Yoongi: Save it. We don’t want to hear your fake apology.

Taehyung: Seriously Y/n. You’re going to try and pin this on someone else? I’m just disgusted.

Jin: How could you do this to us? We were so kind to you. We genuinely thought of you as a friend but you’re just another crazy fan who used us.

Namjoon: Y/N our legal team will be reaching out to you. We didn’t want them to take any actions against you that could potentially ruin you but they still want to speak with you. Please don’t contact us further.

Your heart broke with each message that you read. Everything you had that made you so happy over the last few months was gone in the blink of an eye. As much as you wanted to keep apologizing and asking questions you wanted to respect their wishes so you didn’t contact them again.

Just as Namjoon said would happen you got a call the next day from one of the company lawyers and they wanted to meet up. You went to their lawfirm and listened to them speak. They went over how damaging this was for the company and also the group. They told you how they wanted you to pay the potentially lost earnings and to have your name made public but the lawyers let you know that the group was against that and didn’t want you harmed. You did have to sign a NDA that took away your rights to discuss anything that happened between you and the boys or anything that the eight of you had spoken about. You thought it was ridiculous but you didn’t want to cause any more issues so you signed it without saying a word. Before you left the building you also had to pull out your phone and show them that you deleted the boys numbers so that you’d have no way to contact them.

Once you left the building you felt like the life had been drained out of you. In just a couple days you lost everything. When you got back to your apartment there were movers moving everything out of the boys place. Not wanting to be noticed you quickly unlocked your door and ran to your bed falling into it and letting out the sobs you’d been holding in.

It had been a few months since the incident happened. The group released their new album making a few changes so that it wasn’t completely the same as the leaked album. You especially noticed how the song they had you listen to and give your opinion about was no longer on the album. You tried your hardest to go back to your everyday life but it was difficult. You really missed the guys as they had become some of your best friends but you knew things could never be repaired. The more you played the events in your head you actually felt hurt that they didn’t even give you a chance to speak for yourself. They just assumed it was you that released it and then cut ties. You started to wonder if they ever really thought of you as a friend.

You were glad to finally have a few days off from work. It felt so good to sleep in and have the time to make yourself a nice brunch and just relax. Just as you were sitting down to enjoy your freshly made waffles you were interrupted by a knock on your door.

Pulling it open you were greeted with a sight that made your head spin. “Can we come in?”. Speechless you just nodded and stepped aside watching as Yoongi and Namjoon entered your apartment.

the eight hour flight to Vancouver felt like a lifetime, but when i felt the plane land on the runway, i feel more relieved than ever. i didn’t want look like the crazy person, crying on the plane, so i held it all in while i was in the air. mostly. there were a few times that i had some lone tears escape, but for the most part, i was just glad i didn’t have anyone sat next to me.

i follow the single file line off the plane, and make my way to baggage claim, where i caught sight of Quinn waiting for me. he spots me and sends me a pitiful smile, meeting me halfway, and that’s all it takes for me to breakdown, finally letting my tears fall. i fall into his open arms, letting him hold me in the middle of the airport.

“shhh. that’s it, let it out, y/n/n.” he shushes me, whispering comforting words in my ear. “it’ll be okay. you’re gonna be okay. i promise.”

we stand there for a few minutes, him holding me as i cry into his shirt. in Jack and i’s three year relationship, i grew quite close to Quinn. having never had any siblings of my own, and having parents who were more strict than comforting and protective, the Hughes became almost like a replacement family for me. but Quinn is who i’ve been closest with, him taking me under his wing and giving me advice when i need it. so it’s reassuring to know that i’ll still have him to lean on even though jack and i are no longer together.

once the baggage carousel starts moving, i’m easily able to spot my suitcase as one of the first few and Quinn grabs it for me. slinging an arm over my shoulder protectively, he leads me out to the parking garage. finding his car quickly, he puts my suitcase in his trunk and opens the passenger door for me before jogging around the vehicle to his drivers seat.

“let’s go back to mine and i’ll show you to your room. then you can talk to me if you want, but i’m not gonna push you to open up to me if you aren’t ready.” he says, switching the car into reverse and looking over his shoulder to back out of the parking space. i just nod in response.

the drive to Quinn’s isn’t too long, but my tired state makes it feel longer than the twenty minutes that it actually is. i wasn’t able to sleep on the plane, too busy thinking, and the fact that i left abruptly at night means it’s been way too long since i’ve actually slept. Quinn walks me into his apartment, leading straight to his guest bedroom.

“thank you, Quinn. you don’t understand how much this means to me. i don’t have anyone else in Jersey and i- i didn’t know where else to go.” my voice breaks and i stutter over my words as i turn to look at him in the doorway.

“i’m always here for you, you don’t need to thank me. you can stay here for as long as you want, y/n/n.” he pushes off from his spot leaned against the door jamb. “i’ll let you unpack and get settled.”

he closes his door on the way out and i turn back to my suitcase that sits on the bed, unzipping it and pulling out clothes and various other things i packed in my rush away from Jack. once i finish unpacking, i lay on my side on the bed, on top of the covers. i’ll just close my eyes for a second, then i’ll go talk to Quinn.

i wake up with a startle, my face wet with tears and my mouth dry. i don’t even remember falling asleep. my dream was a montage of fictional moments, imagery of Jack sleeping with faceless women and then coming home to me, cuddling up to me and telling me he loves me, all while i was aware it was happening but unable to leave him. i guess not all of it was fictional, because the last part did happen, i just wasn’t aware of his secret rendezvous.

i drag myself up from the bed, looking around for a moment in confusion before i remember where i am. Quinn. i leave the room, padding down the hallway to the living room, finding Quinn sprawled across his couch, watching tv. at the sound of my footsteps, he looks towards me and sits up.

“hey. i checked on you a few hours ago but you were asleep. i figured i’d let you get some rest.” he tells me.

“thanks.” my voice is raspy from my sleep and my eyes are still adjusting to the light shining in from his open windows.

“how ya feelin’?” he asks, getting up from the couch and walking over to the kitchen. i follow him and watch as he gets a cup down from a cabinet and fills it with water from a brita pitcher in the fridge.

“like i just found out my boyfriend cheated on me multiple times throughout our relationship and then took an eight hour plane ride to another country.” i shrug. Quinn looks over at me with wide eyes, and in the absence of his sight, the water overfills and spills over the side of the cup, running over his hand.

“shit.” he puts the pitcher down, pouring a little bit of the water from the cup down the sink and using a dish towel to dry the outside of the cup before handing it to me and then drying off the counter. “multiple times? i thought it was just the once? which, obviously is still bad but… multiple times?”

“i thought so too. but he confessed before i left. he said it wasn’t the first time he’s gotten with someone else.” i take a sip of the water and then sigh as fresh tears cling to my lashes. “god, what is wrong with me, Q? why has every guy i’ve ever been with, cheated on me? am i not good enough? do i not satisfy them? am i not pretty? i don’t understand.”

Quinn sets the towel down and steps in front of me, placing my cup on the counter and taking a hold of my face, forcing me to look him in the eyes.

“there is nothing wrong with you, y/n. i don’t ever want you to think that this is your fault and not the man’s. he’s the one who fucked up. not you. you were loyal, you’re kind, you were supportive, Jack is the one who took advantage of you. and you’re gorgeous, so i don’t want to hear that you ever think that was the problem. the problem is him.” his tone is harsh and assertive, contradictory to his sweet words. “do you understand?”

i nod and he lets go of my face, pulling me into his chest for a tight hug. my tears wet his shirt as i sob into his chest for the second time in the past twenty-four hours.

“i know you’re hurting, and it doesn’t feel like it now but, you’ll be okay. i promise. and one day you’re gonna find someone who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated. do i wish that could’ve been my brother for you? yes. but, unfortunately it wasn’t. and i just want you to remember that just because he wasn’t your endgame, doesn’t mean i care about you any less. you’re my little sister now. blood, legally, or honorary, you’re my sister and i’m here for you.”

his kind words only serve to switch my tears from sad ones to grateful ones. when Jack and i started dating, i had no expectations to grow close with his family. it had never happened with any of my previous boyfriends families. but the Hughes family members have always been so kind and supportive; letting me stay with them when my own parents kicked me out the day after my eighteenth birthday, throwing me a birthday party each year, Ellen teaching me how to sew, Luke coming to me for girl advice. it makes me look at Jack and i’s relationship in a new light. instead of wishing i had never met him, i’m grateful i had, because if it weren’t for him, i wouldn’t have his family. and more importantly, i wouldn’t have Quinn. my honorary big brother.

“thank you.” i sniffle as my tears finally come to an end twenty minutes later. by now we’ve moved to the couch and Quinn holds a box of tissues in his hands.

“you don’t need to thank me. it’s what i’m here for.” he smiles softly. his phone starts buzzing on the side table next to me and i reach for it, meaning to hand it to him, but i freeze up when i see Jack’s name on the screen, his contact picture being on of the two of us at the lake house. Quinn gently takes the phone from my grasp and i watch as his face slowly morphs into one of anger when he sees who’s calling him. before i can ask him not to take the call right now, he taps his finger over the ‘accept’ button.

“what the fuck do you want?” he asks sharply, holding the phone up to his ear. i can’t hear what Jack says but Quinn quickly shakes his head. “no.”

i give him a confused look and he holds up a finger, signaling to give him a minute. i sink back into the couch and curl my legs up to my chest as i watch him speak to my ex.

“no. Jack, i said no. you’re not talking to her. i don’t even know how you know she’s here, but if she isn’t answering your calls then you should take that as a fucking sign: she doesn’t want to speak to you.”

calls? what calls?

i pat my pockets for my phone, but realize i must’ve left it in the guest room. i rise to my feet and Quinn looks at me with a raised brow.

“be right back.” i mouth. i walk to the guest room, finding my phone laying on the bedside table, still plugged in from before i laid down a few hours ago. i pick it up and the screen comes to life, showing multiple unread texts from Jack and several missed calls. i swipe the calls away and skim through the texts, all being some variation of ‘i’m sorry’ and ‘can we please just talk?’. opening the instagram app, i take a few moments to delete every picture i have of or with him from my profile, including the post from yesterday. unplugging my phone and slipping it into my pocket, i walk back out to the living room.

“you’re not fucking listening to me. i don’t care how sorry you are, i won’t even let her think about getting back together with you. you fucked up, Jack. i’m done talking about this.” Quinn hangs up the phone as i walk back in, taking my seat back on the couch.

“i know you keep telling me to stop saying thank you but seriously, thank you, Quinny. you didn’t have to do that.” i say my words quietly, and he remains quiet for a second before he finally speaks up.

“any time, y/n/n. i mean it.” he smiles softly and then nudges my shoulder. “how about we order some take out and watch John Tucker Must Die? what do ya say?”

“i say…” i leave him hanging for a second before smiling back. “chinese food or pizza?”

“that’s my girl.” he slings an arm around me, tugging me into his side. he grabs the remote, switching over to a streaming service, and i pull out my phone to send one quick text before powering it off.

Buddy needed some space.

She and Megatron had gotten into a petty argument that day.

What was it about? She couldn’t tell you.

She just knew that she was angry and well she was good at holding grudges.

Was fighting with the Decepticon leader the smartest thing to do? Probably not

But she knew Megatron, he wasn’t that kind of mech towards her.

She decided to leave the base at night and go on an evening stroll.

Buddy walking by the docks still a bit fuming.

“Stinkin’ Megatron… and his arrogant, dumb face… and big frame… and lovely red optics… I’m losing it, aren’t I?”--Buddy

“I’m losing it!”

Buddy jumping nearly 20 feet in the air.

“Who’s there?!”--Buddy

Figure on the junk ship waving.

“I’m losing it!”

“…”--Buddy

Buddy swung up to the ship and made her way towards the figure.

She was surprised to see a mech sitting in the center of the pile playing around with the junk.

Buddy asked if he needed help.

He just starts playing with junk.

That’s when Buddy noticed his pede stuck on one of the ships gears.

How wasn’t he in pain!? At least complaining?

One last pull, Buddy yanked it out landing on another pile of junk.

Back at the docks…

Megatron sighing so hard he falls back to sleep.

The two talked for a bit more before Buddy decided to start heading home.

Wreck-gar simply waves bye before going back to his junk crafts.

Strange bot indeed.

She continued her walk when she heard a bunch of footsteps heading her way.

Quickly she hid in one of the open cargo containers.

It was fine.

Until they closed the door.

Sure, Buddy could have easily gotten out, but she didn’t want to freak out the human dock workers.

The best ones were hard to find now a days and she didn’t want them to suffer for her mistake. She thought to herself that it would be fine if she stayed there for a bit.

She could go for a nap anyways.

Buddy thought she slept for a couple of minutes max.

Not an entire hour!

Buddy rubbing her helm a bit while sitting in the container.

“Maybe I should get more sleep… Nah.”--Buddy

Buddy looks around the container.

“I should probably start opening the—”--Buddy

SNAP!

Suddenly she felt the entire container go on its side and a short free fall before it hit the ground.

Buddy now truly freaked out kicked the opening, shattering its locks and ran out.

She was not expecting to find herself waist deep in water.

Carefully she wadded to the nearby shoreline.

Once she got to the shore, she panted a bit before looking back at her old container.

The chains that were supposed to be holding the container were rusty and broken.

Maybe they snapped while the ship was out.

Good news for Buddy, the ship didn’t travel too far.

Bad news for Buddy, she couldn’t swim to shore.

The downside to having an organic part.

She figured that she would radio in for help in a bit.

Afterall, she hadn’t been on this island before. Maybe there was a new type of bird or cute animal she had seen in those nature documentaries.

So, she wandered into the bush.

It wasn’t as exciting as she thought it would be, but it was defiantly a nice spot to come to clear one’s mind.

A mighty roar pierced the once tranquil night.

Buddy nearly jumped out of her frame when she heard it.

She turned to run the other way when the roar came back sounding more in pain.

…curse her medical coding…

That thing was going to get her in trouble one of these days.

She carefully trekked deeper into the bush following the sounds of the anguished roar.

Buddy was not expecting other Cybertronians.

Certainly not ones who had animal alt modes.

It did make her feel a bit comfortable seeing other ‘odd’ alt modes out there. Sure, they were techno organic like her, but still, it was nice.

If she remembered the one movie about Dinosaurs correctly the two bots on the side were a Pteranodon and a Triceratops. The hulking figure laying on the ground behind them was a T-Rex.

The smaller ones took notice of Buddy and stood in front of the larger being.

Like they were protecting it.

Buddy raising her servos in the air.

“I mean no harm.”--Buddy

The two dinos look at her confused.

“Umm… I’m not going to hurt you. I want to help.”--Buddy

Dinos look at each other, hesitantly, before making a way for Buddy to come in.

Buddy makes her way to the hulking T-Rex laying on the floor in the pain.

Buddy starts walking around slowly inspecting him.

“My name is Buddy. I’m here to help you.”--Buddy

The mech huffs in pain.

Buddy scans his joints.

“I like your alt modes. Having a car alt mode is overrated.”--Buddy

The mech huffed again, but it sounded more amused.

Then she found the problem.

A thick branch had wedged itself in between some of his important joints.

With one swift motion, she took out the branch.

The mech then stood up testing his joints.

Then he transformed and the others followed.

… Buddy was really hating how small she was right now.

The biggest one looked down at her and patted her back strut so hard she was sure that something came out of place.

Buddy trying to recover from the pat on the back.

“You’re welcome big guy.”--Buddy

“Grimlock better thanks to you! Grimlock strong again!”--Grimlock

“Grimlock? Is that your name?”--Buddy

Grimlock nods and points to the others.

“That Swoop! He flies highest! Other is Slag! He shortest of Dinobots! Me Grimlock the strongest and King of Dinobots!”--Grimlock

Buddy just trying to soak in everything.

Grimlock picks Buddy up and places her on his shoulder.

“Grimlock!”--Buddy

“Buddy now part of Dinobots.”--Grimlock

“Wait what?”--Buddy

The four of them walked further into the bush talking and having good laughs.

They did this until Buddy realized that dawn was fast approaching.

She asked if Swoop could give her a ride back to the mainland to go home.

They weren’t happy that she was going home, but Buddy promised to visit them as much as she could.

This seemed to make them happy enough.

Swoop was careful flying her and landing on the docks before returning.

Buddy walked into the base as the sun was coming up.

Thank goodness everyone was still in their habsuites.

Buddy finally saw her beautiful berth and fell face first on it.

She sighed a bit before finally closing her optics.

Buddy opens her habsuite taking in the sight of her lovely berth.

She smiles as she faceplates on it, sighing, and closing her optics.

SLAM!

Lugnut burst into her door.

“WHAT IS IT!?”--Buddy

“Why aren’t you in the med bay? You are usually there by now.”--Lugnut

“… So, you decided to come to my room and wake me up… because I wasn’t up?”--Buddy

Buddy gets up from her berth slowly walks up to Lugnut.

Buddy swiftly picks up Lugnut over her helm and starts marching down to the main room.

Buddy turns to everyone.

When I first read this all I could think of what this nun! I’ll make her kick ass awesome because I don’t know Doomslayer, but I get the basic idea of it 😊

-When (God) entered the arena first, he anticipated who his opponent was going to be, feeling pumped from the previous fights, wanting to have an equally as enjoyable match.

-Many were outraged when you walked out, seeing a nun, you looked so young, but so stunning, holding your rosary beads in your hands.

-He was stunned, seeing a nun and instantly sent a glare up at Brunnhilde, annoyed at her choice but was thrown off, seeing that the valkyrie didn’t look worried at all, a confident grin on her lips.

-He turned back to you as you had bowed your head, bringing your rosary to your forehead, eyes closing as you said a small prayer before you handed your beads to Heimdall for safekeeping, something he didn’t mind after you asked him.

-(God) pulled out his weapon, preparing and he froze as you pulled out two handguns and your leg appeared out from a slit in your dress, still covered and wearing combat boots.

-Jaws dropped all around and heart eyes appeared in the eyes of many as you spoke, “I shall do everything in my power that is my lord’s power, to protect humanity.” (God) swallowed hard, finding you very attractive, even for a holy maiden such as yourself.

-His eyes seemed to shake as he dodged your bullets, watching your boot heel catch his weapon to spin it away, he wanted to defile that purity, something about you made him want you more and more!

-Hades- You were easily kicking his ass, from your guns to hidden knives you seem to have hidden everywhere to your boots, and he was impressed and turned on all at the same time. He managed to disarm you, throwing his own weapon away before catching your hands, his eyes boring down into your own but before he could say anything you swung up with your feet, nailing him in the chin, sending him flying back before you adjusted your dress, smoothing out the wrinkles. He sat up, holding his chin and seemed to grin like a feral monster, “You’re just making this more exciting!!” you dodged his first punch, then his second, but his knee slamming into your midsection- you missed that one as you went to the ground hard, gasping for air. -Lucifer- Was impressed with your marksmanship and skills in combat, he had never met a nun who could fight as well as you, he hadn’t met any nuns who would fight- but still! Each blow you landed on him seemed to ignite his blood more and more, wanting to feel more of what you were willing to give him. He caught your hand, disarming you of the knife you were holding, and he felt the smooth skin of your hand, he instantly wanted to touch every inch of you, he wanted to ruin you, make you think of nobody else but him, not even your precious god. But first, he needed to beat you because right at the moment you were kicking his ass, but now that he had a goal, he was going to fight harder and harder to have you for his own.

-Beelzebub- You were so beautiful, so stunning, even as you glared, your eyes narrowing to fire off another bullet at him. Your skills were very impressive, something he admitted early on in the match, as you quickly had him on the defense, trying his best to block your blows with the help of his shield, but you were fast and he had to be constantly moving, following your movements. Your fluid, elegant movements, every shift of your legs and arms, how your chest was heaving from your slight pants, getting a good work out, everything about you made his want for you only grow. He darted forward quickly, disarming you, and you surprised him when he tried to knock you out by headbutting him, knocking him back. You weren’t going without a fight, one that he was willing to give you.

-Hajun- Your purity screamed at him, like a beacon in the night, it made him salivate, able to smell how pure you were- how he wanted to taste it. He wanted to savor your purity before defiling you, keeping you all for himself, forever and always. He wanted to lock you away so nobody else could see you, wanting to be selfish and keep you all for himself. You were going to become his and his alone! However, he wasn’t expecting you to jump up and managed to send him face first into the ground in a vicious guillotine kick. You leapt back as he started to glow and your eyes widened, seeing a child falling out of him, Zerofuku, the core of Hajun’s being.

-Zerofuku- He sat up, looking confused before he saw you coming over and he instantly leapt up, hugging you, “Thank you! You saved me!” you were a little thrown off by his affections but hugged him gently as Hajun groaned, shifting to sit up. Zerofuku took your hand, beaming up at you, “You’re the winner so let’s run, I’ll keep you safe!” his declaration warmed your heart, hearing the promise of this child and you nodded, taking his hand after you grabbed your prayer beads from Heimdall and ran off together. Zerofuku smiled up at you with fondness in his eyes, he wanted to keep you safe and keep you all to himself, you were his savior after all.

Pairing: Platonic/Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Delusional behavior, Attempted kidnapping, Violence/Murder, Clingy behavior, Breaking bones mention, Stalking, Forced companionship.

Bubba, according to the small amount of lore we're given, is a very emotionally driven character.

He entered the fog essentially after watching his family fall apart.

He follows The Entity's orders because he's scared and doesn't wish to disappoint.

That doesn't change the fact that he's a ruthless killer though.

However, I feel he's easily manipulated.

When Bubba grows attached to a survivor he'd seem them as family to appease.

He has a childish mindset, so "family" could mean anything from sibling or partner.

Either way he'd definitely be attached in that way.

Maybe he feels comfort with you in particular?

Something about you is warm and soft, drawing him in?

Something caring that he finds himself wanting?

He's definitely attached to someone who is considerate and caring towards those around them.

Like a team player or empathetic person due to his personality.

You'll notice his attempts at hunting falter around you.

In fact he often stares in what appears to be awestruck shock at you.

Any change of feelings catches you off guard.

You'll know things have fully changed in a match when you're the last one left and are quickly cornered by the killer.

Instead of dying, however....

He just picks you up, making some oddly content noises, before squeezing tighter.

You can tell it's a hug and are just in shock as the fearsome killer cuddles you like a teddy bear.

Bubba then reluctantly allows you to leave.

Yet that's not the end of his obsession....

Now you know Bubba has a strange attachment to you.

But you aren't sure what to do with it?

When in trials with him you try to relax yourself.

You do gens and notice he hunts those around you.

Yet you find him wandering over to you at times like he's checking on you?

He doesn't try to hurt you at this point.

If anything he watches you repair generators, occasionally reach out to touch your head/hair in curiosity.

For the most part he leaves you alone or expects attention.

It's odd but you use it to your advantage.

Fellow survivors aren't so lucky.

Other survivors are considered threats to his family.

That means he must get rid of them.

He'll be as messy as he wants to be while doing it, too.

It's like The Entity gives you to Bubba as some sort of treat.

He's done well and listened obediently, so he gets his favorite survivor.

You may even try to spare your fellow survivors by hunting Bubba down to distract him.

Said killer is ecstatic that you came to see him.

There's times you can keep him so distracted with paying attention to him the other survivors can do generators.

Bubba is somewhat easy to deal with at the beginning of his obsession.

Yet soon... he'll be tired of others having you.

Soon, he gets rid of everyone in the trial except you.

Then, he tries to trick you into basement.

In true basement Bubba fashion he'd try to keep you in the basement for as long as he can.

If he has to... he slams his mallet into your legs to limit your movement.

He hates hurting you as family... but he can't let you leave!

He just wants to hold you close and feel comforted in your presence.

You may struggle... yet he doesn't care.

In his eyes you're all he ever needs.

He hates to share.

Of course... Bubba can't keep you forever.

The Entity will eventually steal you away again.

It devastates Bubba when it happens...

But what's stopping him from doing this every trial he has you in?

Rowen Archie a famous knight in the imperial family. He was known to be the most skillful and handsome knight.

While you Y/n Archie was his 4 years old daughter.

It all happens when your father and mother fall in love and get married for 3 years. They tried for a child but couldn't, then one day your mother found out she was pregnant.

Both of them were so happy. But sadly, she passed away after giving birth to you. But unlike the others…your father loves you so much!! He even threatens his own butler for trying to drive you out of his house.

4 years have passed…

Your father was summoned by the king.

“You summon me your majesty?” He bowed to the king.

“Now now Rowen…we are childhood friends, just call me by my name.” the king chuckled.

And thus the wedding happened. Everyone was celebrating.

11 years past…and yet…Rowen still forgets about his responsibility. And not only that…Rowen and his new wife Eliza have a baby girl named Lilith.

“Father…” Carlos, the first born, called to him in the family gathering room.

All family members were there except…one

“May I ask…who's this?” He showed them all a picture of a little girl.

“Ah that's y/n— Y/N!!!” Rowen quickly stood up. “N-no…how could I forgot….m-my precious roses!!” He ran out of the gathering room running around the house. All of them look at him weirdly.

Rowen was searching for you like a mad man. “Y/n!! Y/n!!!” As he called out to you…not even one he heard you reply.

“Y/—”

“My lord?”

Rowen quickly turned around and saw one of his old maids.

“Where's y/n!!”

“You mean little lady?”

“Yes!! Where is she!!” He was looking around the maid for any sign of you.

“Didn't you ask for lord Zachary to adopt her?”

As he heard that name he froze. Zachary Huxley. His dead wife's older brother.

“I…I didn't say anything about making him adopt y/n…”

“Eh!! But he said you allowed him to take custody!”

“HAH!! WHAT BULLSH*T ARE YOU TALKING!! HE'S A PERVERT!!”

“WHAT!!...oh no…Lady y/n!!!”

His eyes widened at his mistake…oh how he wished he wasn't blind by his new wife's beauty…

With you somewhere else (what happened in the past)

“What do you mean papa doesn't want me anymore.” Her eyes started to water. “Well my bad,sadly he wishes for you to be gone since he already has a new…family.” Zachary smirks at his own lies.

“B-but papa loves me!”

“In the past, yes but now…he doesn't want you…he's going to be busy with his new wife” Zachary held out his hand for her to take. And she did…I repeat…she did.

11 years later

“Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!” The maids and butlers gathered around the table.

“Happy birthday to lady y/n! Happy birthday to you!” All of the maids finished the song with clapping.

“....thank you! Everyone” as she looked up. All of them could see bruises on her face,body and so on.

“....” They were silent. “Are you done singing the song?” Zachary came out of nowhere and startled them.

“Yes my lord we are done” all of them retreat to their own headquarters.

As they all leave y/n just sitting there doing nothing.

“Now y/n.. it's your 15th birthday…do you want anything?” Zachary walks towards her and caresses her hair ‘weirdly’.

“Nothing daddy! I just want to eat some cake can I?”

“Of course, anything for my precious…daughter.” He leaned down and kissed the corner of her lips.

And then, he goes away, probably doing his work. As he was out of her sight. She harshly wiped the kiss that was left by him.

Everyone could see that she was trembling hard. Sobbing her heart out.

"It's okay…it's okay y/n…papa…papa save me right?” she mumbled. But deep down she knew it's useless. She waited for 11 years. After she got ‘adopted’ she learned her uncle's true nature.

He was a pedophile. No wonder his sister hates him. And that's not all. Just a few months ago, she learned that her uncle put up something called dark magic. It allows the user to spy on someone.

So technically all of her years staying with her uncle. She was spied on by him.

And she knew…he saw all of her…I mean all of her. She always throws up at the idea.

As she retreats to her bed. She couldn't help but feel an unpleasant feeling.

As she stepped inside her room she was hit by a wave of a very good smell of perfume.

She started to feel dizzy. Before she could collapse on the floor she was welcomed by a pair of hands.

“Don't worry now my dear…daddy will take care of you~”

“N-no…..”

The next day….

Y/n jolted awake from her ‘sleep’ and she couldn't believe her eyes. Her body hurt here and there. And a lot of ‘marks’ were left on her.

She knew She was doomed. And the only thing she could do is cry her heart out.

This happened for a month until…

“Ugh!! I can't take it anymore!” One of the maids said. “What do you mean?” reply another. “Let's help the lady! Please!” She begged the head maids.

“....we can't…” the head maid looked down sadly.

*No….we can” one of the butlers came in.

“I know what we can do,” he hummed. All of the maids look at him weirdly.

Y/n was getting ready to ‘sleep’. She has eyebags under her eyes. A knock interrupts her thought.

“Come on in…” she replied weakly.

“My lady?” A maids poke her head in.

“Yes…”

“I have something to tell you!”

“What?”

She looked around before she whispered in her ears.

“We will get you out of here my lady.”

Y/n eyes widened and she quickly looked at the maid.

“A-are you sure!”

“Yes I'm not the only one everyone in this house wanted to help you! Excluding the lord.”

Y/n started to cry at this.

“W-where will I go?”

“Oh right…. it's okay we have a back up plan!”

And thus the maids and butlers get ready to sneak her out. As the previous maid and y/n tip toeing in the front door. Someone caught their acts from behind.

“So this is where you're going?”

Both of their eyes widen. “U-uncle..”

“Uncle? Really baby? I thought you were better!”

He glared at her.

“Guards!! Seized the maid!! How dare she try to take away what's mine!!”

A guard came and held down the maids. While Zachary was laughing like a maniac he was suddenly pinned down to the ground.

“What the f*---”

“I wouldn't curse if I was you….”

Zachary's eyes widened.

“Y-you!!”

“Hello…brother in law” as the hood fell down it revealed Rowen.

Y/n saw who the stranger was and felt very angry and sad, mostly sad. She pushes the guards away and takes the maid's hand and quickly runs away.

But she couldn't run far since she immediately collapsed on the floor.

“My lady!”

“My roses!!” As she heard her past nickname, tears fell down before she saw black.

Rowen quickly kneels down and carries his daughter back.

As he arrives at his mansion. How wife and step sons, including his daughter, were waiting for him.

“Daddy you're back!” Shout the youngest Lilith.

“...I'm back….everyone”

TIMESKIP

Y/n slowly regained her consciousness. There she saw someone head near her hands sleeping she assumed.

As she struggles to move. The head wakes up.

“Darling rosy! Don't you are still weak”

“... You…”

“Yes it's me papa! I miss you so much!!”

“...I..I don't have a papa” she looked away.

“N-no you do! Okay it's my fault for not looking after you!”

“...”

A few days have passed…y/n still remains in her ‘shell’. Rowen didn't stop visiting her. Until he carries her out to eat with him. He hand fed her with a spoon.

He was smiling, including his wife and sons. Except his younger daughter Lilith. She was in rage then she slammed her hand down drawing everyone's attention.

“It's not fair!!”

“Darling sit down…” her mother, Eliza warned her.

“Daddy loves me more!! Why did you have her attention!! I'm your daughter, not her!!”

Rowen slammed his spoon down the table mimicking his daughter's action.

“Lilith she's your older sister…respect her she's my child”

“But not with mommy right!! Did you cheat!!”

“Shut up Lilith Archie!!!” Eliza stands up angrily.

“M-mommy…I'm just defending you!”

“Defending…you don't know anything!! And your father can love anyone he wants!! And for your information! That's Y/n Archie! The true heir to your father's properties!!”

Lilith's eyes widened. “Impossible…he never told me he had a daughter!!.

“It's my fault for making him neglect his daughter…” Eliza confesses.

Y/n who have heard everything stay quiet. She tries to stand up but her legs tremble. And gave out making her collapse on the cold floor.

Rowen quickly helped her and carried her away.

Lilith who saw all this interaction was very angry.

Her older brother, Carlos knew that Lilith would try to do something bad to her.

Time last Lilith tried to frame y/n but failed as she was always caught by her older brother.

As for y/n…bad news is..she…started to throw up. She has nausea almost everyday.

Eliza, who notices these details, quickly hires a private doctor that she trusts.

As the doctor checked y/n Rowen,Eliza and Carlos were there. Carlos was there to make sure Lilith won't do anything stupid.

“...my lord…I have bad news.” The doctor finished packing her things.

“Well…lady y/n she's…” the doctor looked guilty.

“She what?”

“She's pregnant…”

“I-impossible…” Rowen fell down to his knees.

He started to cry for all the things he couldn't have done for y/n.

As for y/n, she too in a shock phrase, her eyes started to get glossy.

Eliza who saw that quickly hugged her. Y/n was still in a shock state as she quickly hugged Eliza too. Sobbing her heart out.

Rowen stands up and hug y/n taking her away from Eliza. He hugged her so tightly while sobbing and apologizing.

“I'm sorry…I'm sorry papa sorry��

Carlos who saw all of this quietly walked out.

A few months past y/n stomach growth. Eliza has been keeping an eye out for her and so did others.

She was 6 months pregnant. She was taking a walk in the garden.

“My lady it's time for your dessert”

No reply

“My lady?”

No reply

As the maid walked closer to her. It turns out y/n was asleep.

The maid chuckled.

“Well..I believe we can continue this story another time then dear viewers~”

Wait is Bleak Creek gay? I've been putting off reading it because I honestly didn't think it would be any good.

Bleak Creek is for me honestly one of their best creations. It's not Dostoevsky obviously but it is a decent book that can be read quickly and easily and for me it was honestly fun. Now, Bleak Creek is much like other R&L works in the sense that a red herring is thrown in - in this case it's the character of Alicia Boykins for whom both their characters Rex and Leif have feelings - and then there is a gazillion of their usual allegories and symbolisms and insinuations.

What I found so compelling in TLCOBC is that through the medium of a text, a book written by them, you get a better chance to draw an accurate picture of their thoughts and emotions. A lot of what I actually use in my opinions and theories is informed by what I read in TLCOBC. I think it allows a deeper insight. It's also super interesting to explore the themes and how dark these themes seem to be inside their hearts and the allegories they come up with. For example, I am pretty hugely convinced that the villain of the whole story, which is like teen horror, is downright inspired by Rhett's father. Like, not even a single doubt. And all those things say a lot, you know?

Then, even though the book was mostly written by Rhett with the assistance of a professional writer, there is huge input of Link in it. Either Link also wrote a lot or he told Rhett exactly what he felt and how he wanted his character to be approached and explored and Rhett adhered to this 100%. What I am trying to say is that even though this is an easy quick young adult / teen read, there is still introspection and very intriguing symbolism / allegory in it. It is a autobiographical work turned into teen fantasy horror.

And because you asked specifically how gay, Rhett once in a promo interview said that Alicia did not symbolise a real person but it symbolised who "they truly wanted to be". This does stand on its own if you read the book but I think what Rhett also meant is that Alicia was also given the traits they both see and love in each other that they can not reveal in their platonic context. There are too many to mention but a very appropriate example right now would be... did you - Anon and anyone else reading this - see that answer I posted a couple of days ago about the " I am dead" move in which when they used to fight as kids and young adults, Rhett had a habit of falling on top of Link and staying there until Link calmed down?

Well, in TLCOBC Leif reflects on his pretty serious crush for Alicia thoroughly and one of the things said is that because Alicia is a tomboy (of COURSE) they would often physically fight for fun (much like real Link would wrestle with Rhett) . Alicia was always able to pull the "Full Nelson" move on Leif, like Rhett always pulled the dead move on Link...... And then Leif reflects on how he had to keep his crush a secret at any cost (because Alicia was a best friend to him and he thought he would destroy their friendship if he revealed his feelings as he was sure she did not return them... like honestly what else do you need, here Alicia serves as a red herring for Rhett) and he allowed himself only to savour the moments when she would pull the full nelson on him and he could feel her hair on his neck when she had him like that... And here's the full nelson:

So Alicia was on his back or on top of him, like Rhett was when he did the Dead move....

Like... what else does this man have to say...

So, you get a lot of insight through the book, even in the form of parallels, that you do not get in their videos as easily. That is if you read the book as a symbolism and not at face value, in which case it's just a pleasant teen horror. But it's really hard to overlook the symbolism and I believe if you read it, a lot of the things I write here would fall into place better or make more sense.
