1. if anything ive seen a few theories of kazui possibly revealing himself to be a two faced manipulator of sorts due to his self proclaimed liarness…. like ‘ohh u cant trust what he says he cld be trying to make himself look pitiable to the audience to get voted inno’ sort of theories which is. no he wont do that???

is he a liar? to a degree yes—liar not in the sense that what he says are direct falsities, but more like hes built much of his character to constantly disguise his true intentions/feelings as a defense mechanism. the lies he says are less of words from a schemer and more of redirections from someone who is, all in all, an insecure adult scared of what will happen if he isnt able to meet peoples expectations of him

as much as he calls himself a liar hes mad honest about where he thinks his capabilities lie, which is to say he doesnt believe in his capabilities at all lol. when amane asks him for help with her studies, he turns her down after some consideration bc he doesnt believe himself to be smart enough to help (despite having graduated from a university; sports degree or not credit shld be given where credit is due). when he talks to shidou post ktk attack, he refuses to admit doing any of the work in taking care of the situation and instead puts all the praise onto shidou. even his physical strength and skill (which is arguably the one part of him he does acknowledge and take some sort of belief in) is something he treats as less of something that he has achieved himself and more of an obligation of his—like, hes strong bc to him he HAS to be, bc it is expected of him to protect those who need protecting. he does want to protect others, sure, but much of that wanting comes frm how ingrained it is in him that thats what hes good for, thats what his strength is for (his timeline w/ yuno on her bday says as much nyway)

the way i see it, that self deprication of his plays back into his obsession with meeting the expectations placed onto him, or at least lessening the disappointment of others by lessening those expectations in the first place. if u tell someone that u didnt go to the right university, that u didnt do much to help anyway, that u were born so fundamentally wrong as a person that everything is bound to go to shit as long as ur there (he basically said this to es in his t1 vd im not even kidding), wouldnt that ensure the safety that youre less likely to ruin someone elses confidence in you? less likely to ruin bc in the small chance that u still fuck up, theres not much left to ruin at that point

in the end ig what i wish more ppl understood abt kazui is that hes a liar yes, but not a manipulator. he lies to stay safe, not to be a sadist or whatever. you cant take what he says at face value (in much the same way u cant do the same for any other prisoner tbh), but that does not mean u shldnt take anything he says srsly at all!!!

2. ok this one i have to give a bit of thought, mostly bc i cant pick just one

if the standards were which t2 mv do i enjoy for its direction music n visual wise, purge march takes the cake so quickly. the music itself is so bomb (which like, i cant even find a logical explanation as to why… its just so good to listen to) n the mv itself does such a great job at creating the right atmosphere, both in its flashy theatrics and the subtle uncanniness under it. mayb i have a slight bias bc tpm was the whole reason i got into milgram in the first place, but i stand by it idccc

aesthetic wise, def all knowing and all agony. the horror elements r genuinely disturbing, but not so overbearing that it overwrites the pop style that milgram has going on. i luove the use of amber for blood, plus the filters that remind me of found footage u usually see show up in asian horror movies. i think i was actually terrified the first time i watched the mv

symbolic wise, its cat always and forever god bless. it takes advantage of its aesthetics to hint at subtle secrets so well that it makes me giddy as hell. the use of colors as a part of the set, the transitions frm scene to scene having its own part in making the story, n honestly making the bg more blank than usual readjusts the focus of the mv on what matters p well. i cant mention every detail rn or else id be here all day

1. Who stalks the other for weeks or months before approaching them? Does the other notice? And how do they feel about it?

gaius canonically stalks magda and then shows up like a freak in her apartment to abduct her and she threw a lamp + stabbed his hand for it, so she definitely feels freaked out and hatesss him for it. similarly with brigitte and tyson, tyson stalked her and watched her through holes in her walls and brigitte feels incredibly disgusted by him doing that.

for niaerin it's a similar situation but delving into more hc territory as i like to hc that aerin actually already knew about nia/has been watching nia via the dreadlord's plans as the dreadlord shared it to him via his dreams. and nia. well nia is freaked about it.

will/vasili is an outlier here- vasili stalks will throughout his stay in drakovia and will notices. however will is also a little bit of a freak so he lets vasili do it for a few days before revealing that he knew about it all along. he's a bit ticked at vasili's actions but also can't help being intrigued by his behavior, at least at first.

7. Who wades through seas of blood to make sure that "no one kills you but me"? And what does the other think about it?

magda/gaius: post-canon, magda is the one who goes and does this to gaius. she lets him live and tries to think to herself that she'll be fine with the idea of someone else killing him, but turns out she's not. she's a bit of hypocrite when it comes to him. she tells him that he should be free to do whatever and search for "redemption" whereever but also gets a little high at the idea of him doing it for her, because of her, and that in some way his life is hers. it doesn't help that he acts that way and feels that way too. he feels like he's fully indebted to her and everything he does is for her. he secretly loves n gets giddy at the idea that magda thinks only she can kill him bc it means that she feels something for him + someone cares for him. and if one day she does decide hmm she wants to kill him he'll get on a plane from the other side of the world asap and offer his pretty neck to her with a smile :) <- 1/2 of this statement happened in canon

niaerin: nia but specifically book 2 shadow!nia. aerin will also feel like he deserves this and while scared of death will be least apprehensive to nia being the one to kill him.

tyson/brigitte: tyson is the one who has a whole complex about taking credit for kills, and someone as close to him as brigitte being killed by someone else will send him into a frenzy. he will care for her to ensure that he will be the one to kill her. brigitte hates this but also exploits this need of his- like threatening to kill herself if he doesnt get his act together (not even she can take her own life, it HAS to be him)

will/vasili: will would feel incredibly betrayed and embarassed by how vasili played him but also defers to trystan's choice in handling vasili, despite him wanting the final say on what to do with him (aka vasili only dying by will's hand). vasili knows that will wants to be the one to kill him and is flattered by this + respects how drakovian will seems to be + is disappointed when will defers to trystan's choice not to kill vasili. RIP

10. Who eats the other's corpse if their plane crashed in the wilds? And what do they do afterwards?

tyson/brigitte: tyson eats brigitte, unfortunately. he thinks that brigitte would want this, want him to go on and he will be very thankful to brigitte for seemingly "nourishing" him. he is also happy to have a part of her with him and inside of him like, forever (he pretends like he wont shit part of her out lmfao).

will/vasili: debated whether or not vasili would be above cannibalism and decided that no, he would not be, and would eat will to survive. he's gonna act more remorseful about it than tyson does; he'll be like he was with killing bas- "will loved me, he would be fine with this, he knows it's for the greater good" kind of reasoning but also sad about it. after eating will he'd try to treat what remains of will's body with as much grace as you can give a cannibalized body, making "good use" of all of will's parts where tyson would be more sloppy with brigitte's.

felt like writing magdastine out of this one bc theyre vampires and also gaius literally took them to death island n caused their plane to crash in bb3. hashtag canon. that arc was funny. also i dont think niaerin will fit either bc theyre fantasy magic users. BUT in the event of hypothetical cannibalism, i think magda/nia would refuse to eat gaius/aerin and the two of them from beyond the grave are like [gideon nav voice] "all i ever wanted you to do was eat me" and they'd feel rejected at not being used lol.

“all of this has led me to like his inner turmoils (diagnosis) and the other characters inner turmoils more. how they feel about each other how theyve coped.” ohh I so wanna ask about this, like how does that show up for each turtle?

leo copes with weed and being a normal kid. he copes by hanging out with the twins and letting them all get away from their TWO moms. hes got hangups maybe hes ignoring, self medicating and stuff. absolutely keeps it away from them though, but will do it in front of them. he copes a looooot with humour, he'd rather say something gross than be emotionally honest. he might end up saying something corny and then brush it off as if he didnt mean it. but honestly id say he's the most well adjusted. he's FINE with his mom, he sees her as a mom he's just very disappointed by her and so he wont trust her with his shit.

mikey copes by babyfying himself, letting people dote on him for shit he might not really need. he honestly worries more about everyone else than himself, and thats really bad for him. he tries to take care of everyone more, cooks a lot, tries to pull people out of their thoughts more. 'leo you havent smoked in like a week and you keep worrying about everyone else go fucking do that' and then has to put him to bed when he overdoes it. things like that. it starts to reach a point where raph worries he's gonna do to mikey what his mom did to him, ala make him ignore his own shit just to take care of the QUOTE UNQUOTE adults in the room. like he genuinely SEEMS really self sufficient and well balanced but its an act.

donnie just keeps to himself most of the time. he likes to be helpful, he likes to do stuff with his hands. he had april teach him a lot of mechanic shit so he likes to prove he can do it on his own after years of being useless. but he gets shit in his head and hes like "ok THIS is what needs to happen NOW" despite maybe everyone else telling him "hey. thats not helpful. we need to calm down first donnie". like he refuses to let raph make comments about himself as if he's a girl and stuff, when raph clearly just wants to self deprecate to deal with it. i wrote something before where you can see him literally use something raph told him in private as a weapon against their mom. he doesnt get boundaries, he's like "this is whats wrong so lets all say it and fix it now!" but like. people need time and gentleness that hes not always willing to give.

and raph doesnt cope with most of it. he copes by ignoring it. he copes by repressing it. he uses casey to cope, the fighting purple dragons all night, the sex they have which is very much NOT about him. he likes to feel used, maybe. he thinks that all he's supposed to be. it makes their friendship really hard cuz he cant decide if he's okay with it or not. she's supportive of him though, even if he cant always see it. i feel like ive probably explained enough abt raph over the course of the eeeeeeverything else here, but lets just say his version of slash is himself. locked up in that broken fucking brain of his.

Ngl It's kinda Horikoshi and SJ's fault that the fans don't trust them. SJ blatantly made a false advertisement for 431 so the fans would buy the volume. They purposefully used the trio cards to attract the readers and hid the fact that the chapter was mainly Ochako focused (with implied IzuOcha). Horikoshi also doesn't give trust to the fans as he's been silent af after the last chapter's release. I know he's been working on his new story so most likely he's been busy, but many fans were critical and disappointed with the new chapter and he hasn't even said anything. People don't trust the new content because they don't want to get tricked, used or be disappointed now.

im not telling ppl they shouldn't be upset, its more about getting upset over the right things: one of his assistants made two fan arts including bkdk, one of which has an adult katsuki with a dark haired kid, and many are claiming he is Deku's and Ochako's child Tenko Midoriya. That crash out isnt justified by 431, which ended with them starting to talk more -so in the most romantic interpretation, they would START going on dates now-, even with all the disappointment this is so much worse than what happened in December. At least back then something actually happened.

When the extra content for the art book was announced ppl already expressed how they dont trust it and made jokes, the problem now is that ppl are acting like we got some sort of confirmation and making many doom posts, making others feel bad and expecting it just bc someone close to the author decided to make fanart like other times.

Im not saying "trust the content" or the process or be hopeful, but to not jump into conclusions, doom posting and random ideas over nothing; the book wont be published until may, and ppl are making the wait an even worse process with all the overthinking. Yes the author publishing company and the rest have responsibility, but this is ridiculous and 431 does not justify this behavior. It would make more sense to worry about the way the story treats its world, with the villains and heroes, more than "we are going to see their marriage and their two kids Tenko and Himiko!!!! We are so done!!!"

If ppl cant handle the wait and feel the need to overanalyze any "update" (aka anything related to BNHA the team does), it would be the best to disconnect a little bit at least from it. Disappointment doesnt mean you have to go around claiming stuff will happen when we have no idea.

You dont have to trust the author to not doom post every time they do something literally -if the assistant makes bkdk art, means izuku and ochako are married bc he made many fanarts before 431 (he also made it before 430, and many other times; he likes them the most, especially katsuki I believe), if he made izuku and ochako fanart, means they have tons of kids, etc. There's no way to enjoy anything in fandom with that mindset -we arent even allowed to find x art cute, bc we see all the comments claiming the other ship have kids.

Also are you expecting him to address the hate literally? Idk I dont think thats common for mangakas, is it? He doesnt use his social media account that much in the first place, so why would he make some form of statement on a random Tuesday after the release? He is not an influencer getting cancelled, hes a mangaka being criticized for his work, what is he supposed to say?/gen

I also dont want to be tricked or disappointed, however this is the personal art account of one of the assistants, not an official art in any way. We can criticize Bones' uses of bkdk for example, or SJ's, but this is basically fanart, doodles of the characters. This guy is a creep and a weirdo, but this isnt him baiting us into buying the art book nor promoting it lol

We need to talk about MomoKendo more Specifically their relationship + first eveythings

First kiss* I think Kendo would be the the one to kiss Momo first, Momo doesnt strike me as the one to women up to the task. Maybe if they were seeing eachother in a small light after the camp incident they start thinking more about eachother Kendo goes to Momo and hesitates apologizing for acting weird not kissing her yet but actually realizing she has a thing for her. After Kamino (the Momo helping with the bakugo escape mission) she doesn't know about it cause the teachers keep it on the down low but she snoops around a little (has someone in class B help her that wont go off the rails but help her figure out what happen help her if she cant find out herself) and finds out while the dorm thing is happening and that's when she goes to scold Momo for being one track minded, she could have gotten hurt! She thought at least Momo would have the common sense but it appears all of class A is an idiot like Monoma says (she says this jokingly angry with momo) which Momo says something like "yes I deserve it cause my actions were less than responsible" and Kendo calls her a idiot in a endearing way grabbing her roughly by her shirt pulling her into a real kiss telling her not to do something like that again holding her face and telling her shes too precious and she couldn't bear something like that happening to her. Momo is in shock and awe still in the close proximity to Kendo eyes wide that she kissed her, she cant tell if shes surprised another girl would kiss her who the fact Kendo cares about her like that Momo's brain is in shut down mode cause NOT JUST A GIRL BUT A REALLY INTELLIGENT REALLY STRONG GIRL TOUCHED HER LIPS WITH HER OWN this moment stays with Momo and she thinks back on it alot she honestly thinks about it more often than ever in her bed or when she gets up to brush her teeth she feels her lip remembering Kendo's words even though they were harsh she didnt honestly remember what she was saying she just remembered the kiss Kendo on the other hand views this as the beginning of them dating and starts doing extra stuff for Momo coming to sit next to her at lunch bringing her gifts or just trying to be what a girlfriend is Mina probably brings it up and Momo's all "were dating?" Momo didnt know shes shocked and surprised when its revealed to her that they were even remotely going out she thought a kid was just a kiss she ddidn't know what it meant Kendo is half laughing at her half disappointed cause that means all the effort she put in wasn't shown without telling she tries to laugh it off like "yeah I thought you knew! I didn't think it needed to be said, what? Should I have kissed you again and properly asked?" Momo is hot mess confused as to why or even how Kendo would want her of all people "What did you think the kiss was for?!" Kendo speaks loudly a little upset half confused at the part momo isn't getting about this "i like you do you want to go out?" She makes it blantly clear for her Momo nods "great! Can I kiss you?" Momo nods again "yes please"

I think that's pretty cute

I think I will just share my thoughts on how I think their relationship would start and then first kiss and stuff

So for me, I can see Kendo having a crush on Momo from afar but not doing anything or even trying to talk to her cause she didn't know she was into girls, I think Momo is demisexual so crushes are a bit hard to explain in her mind, but she does think Kendo is very attractive. They would start talking first after the camp accident, and I think that's when sparks start!! I agree that Kendo would kiss first, especially after she sees that there is interest, I think we can keep your first kiss scenario here because I really loved it so much and it's so perfect for them. Now the aftermath of this is where it gets complicated, cause for Momo she think that there has to be a formal confession and/or will you be my girlfriend? for them to be dating and Kendo thought they were cool and the kiss meant that yes they're into each other so yeah they are dating. I can see this going for weeks and on the first month after the kiss, Kendou wants to celebrate and Momo is like ??? wait what ??? That's where they would have to talk and Kendo finally asks Momo to be her girlfriend, she's confused and upset but overall just satisfied that now her girlfriend is actually her girlfriend!! I think Momo just likes things to be as clear as possible to avoid misunderstandings, and I think that's very sweet of her <3

i think it all boils down to it ends on putting the last puzzle piece in place and lacks any time spent gazing at it in its complete state. whys the last vol of 21st cent boys more mystery solving when the first was hot robot action that was barely foretold? why not swap the two? first finish solving the mystery, then catharsis as conveyed through the medium of awesome robot action? if you tell me something is real and then immediately close the book i do not have time to really grasp w the implications of that truth. you are rushing me and im a scared foal who wants to stay in the middle of this road.

and my standards for coherence and consistency and impactful character writing are VERY DIFFERENT for a story that consists of nothing but turns and twists and lies and half-remembered memories and wrongly remembered memories and a VR reconstitution of someone else lying about their memories and pretend deaths and real deaths and masks and lying and hiding and flip and flopping. thats fine. if anything its good that most of the main cast is so consistent and/or has such straightforward character arcs. THATS GOOD. we gotta leave the complicated stuff to the way the story is told. thats my reader position going into it. im not asking any one character to blow my socks off or for the mystery itself to sound cool once unraveled, i only ask for it to be competently told

well it still disappointed me. like to be clear 90% of the manga is so awesome and a great ride but when it comes the time to wrap up and end it just flops it really hard. like, its cute that that one detective had it all figured out from the start! well, can i see his notes? this feels like such a perfect setup for a "wrapup" at the end. LET ME READ HIS NOTES !!! why cant i read his notes. why wont you wrap-up ur mystery after introducing such a perfect setup for it? and like yes we See his notes but we read like "sadakiyo other friend" ok well thats nothing. give me a proper wrapup after 22~24 volumes of this spanning over decades both in-story and irl. u are teasing and edging me rn. also it maybe shows the writer themselves have sort of lost the plot as well !.

this missed opportunity is emblematic of the problem is what im saying. and its probably the only thing i can truly criticize this work for. "it lost sight of its own mystery somewhat towards the end". this above is also kind of nothing id consider to be real spoilers and i promised id spoil this entire manga so now lets go in a bit deeper there, in the dark 👉

regarding loose threads i would point to- i forgot her name- the badass evil butch lady whos pregnant w friends child. like whats the conclusion on that? or the OTHER lady whos pregnant w friends child? like i dont mean to say im completely lost as to what happens at the end of a pregnancy but its like- what is this supposed to say to me? can a character turn into the camera and tell me "children r awesome and what make this world go round so we cant treat these kids as evil before-birth, we should celebrate them existing at all". thatd help me out a lot. this is kind of nothing and doesnt matter in the grand scope but its stayed with me. maybe because we are missing any "real ending" feel so i also feel like im missing the thematic Meaning of the work

can we talk about sadakiyo? i love sadakiyo hes awesome. so he for sure definitely died in that car like there was no hint that maybe he hadnt, it was a pretty normal conclusion to his arc. he was, after all, just a tool to friend and so when the tool doesnt wanna serve u anymore u kill it. fine. whys sadakiyo alive at the end? what purpose does he serve? to be in a coma??? and die again??? ok well dont do this to my man sadakiyo. fucking flopesque. and i UNDERSTAND that this ^ death being undone is a repetition of the fukubei motif v

so fukubei. i love fukubei hes awesome. so he for sure definitely died in that classroom shot by i forgor- otcho? anyway otcho checked his body, that was fukubei AND he was dead. then he shows up again ?!!! what were they thinking!- lol im joshing i dont mind that he shows up again later cause thats a BODY DOUBLE ! :D classic mystery writing. wait whats this in 21st cent boys- FUKUBEI DIED AS A CHILD???? well WHO was this fucker otcho checked the body of if not fukubei. couldnt be- i forgot his name. couldnt be carp boy due to we clearly draw a "before" and "after" fukubei's death in how people consider friend. and the "after" is carp boy. so the "before" cannot be carp boy. can only be fukubei. but fukubei died as a child ...

and u see this would be a delicious twist to me cause it gives u this sort of timeline:

fukubei fakes his death as a child but its a trick and hes fine -> he also starts burrying other kids by spreading rumors theyre dead when theyre literally fine [sadakiyo namely] -> fakes his death as fukubei on bloody new years -> fakes his death again as friend and then is fine [at the world expo, the whole pope thing] -> wait hold on that last death was real. it was definitely real. -> wait hold on that first death was real. it was real.

we do get foreshadowing for it too which is yummiful for me. this ^ is an awesome chain of narration yes keep showing me this guy dying but then hes fine and then tell me that no, actually, these fake deaths, were all real. he really did die. i think what breaks it for me is that the way that fake-hanging in the classroom is framed THAT mystery was solved completely and entirely on the last repetition we saw of it, like its just not brought up or a point of mystery again. so then coming in cutely on the last chapter of the last 21st boys volume and tell me "he died as a child" is like ok but u didnt mystery solve that one for me u didnt thats not how mystery writing works u dont get to put foreshadowing together off screen and tell me the answer later u have to put the foreshadowing together on screen thats how this mystery story contract works.

so theres that + the mentionned incongruity created with this whole "friend changed !!!" also of course the politics of 20th cent boys r kinda weird but mostly well meaning which id guess is also true of urasawas works in general id have to reread monster but like he never fully commits to that ACAB anarchist spirit and thats too bad. but ive literally never commented on this before because his mystery writing usually slaps so hard. but this time it flopped so im commenting on it.

this also why i brought up the pregnancy plot at the very start ^ or felt annoyed by the way the story slowed wayyyy down w a lot of scenes we have to read twice in the same volume due to the POV shifts happening to waste time rather than build tension. your mystery solving in such a big-scope mystery story is your keystone. if it fails, im going to start poking at the whole stone arch and notice you swapped some limestone and concrete within the marble or whatever. im not a stone guy. understand my metaphor. if ur keystone is fucking awesome i dont even fucking care that u used dirt in that arch. its an awesome arch and the change of material looks cool.

i only had praise for billy bat but here i left 20th cent boys on a bitter taste BECAUSE the billy bat mystery/ies is way better at stringing you along and lying to you in subtle ways and does not bring sadakiyo back to life or end its sequel "2 bat 2 billy" on a paragraph that reads "so in truth kevin had died on his first flight to japan! and it was the perfect opportunity for his assistant to steal his identity and walk around pretending to be him!" and now thinking about that whole fukubei died as a child thing again i realize it was even-er foreshadowed-er than i realized but its just not revealed well so i reject it on instincts it feels like im being gaslit. as true as it is. as planned as it was. and thats maybe the mark that something was truly fumbled at the end there, that i cant accept this no matter how much i realize it had been there all along. 6 out of 10.

Well I finished Moominvalley in November for the second time and didn’t rush the ending this time (or at least not as much lol) and anyway I still think the moomins return 🤷‍♀️

#i think mainly cause otherwise toft no longer seeing an idealised version of mamma in his mind would be kinda redundant #in that he now understands she’s a person just like him with feelings and worries and sorrows and so now he knows how to interact with her #and also wont be disappointed by her #and i guess with tove maybe this is something she realised after her mother’s death??? but it isn’t too late for toft...idk #i just feel like an idiot who doesn’t understand the deep truth of the novel cause i see the ending so differently than everyone else #i suppose they assume the boat & its light is another of toft’s imaginings? but i like to see it as real....#maybe im just being childishly optimistic #ive always just felt that in both this novel and moominpappa at sea the characters each had something to learn so they could change for the #better & then once that had happened they could return to the valley/get on with their life..in a way...#idk dont read any of this im stupid and have interpreted everything wrong!#and the boat being in toft’s head kinda makes all his character development mean nothing doesnt it? does it? idk

i understand wanting a petty approach, but with ur plan but whats bound to happen is that youll end up even more hurt and disappointed when you realize they can go wayyyyy too long without noticing. like all its gonna do is prove that theyre REALLY not there for you and youll end up full of resentment while theyre not even aware of the situation. youll hurt the wrong person (yourself.) remember the old adage: "if he wanted to, he would."

you could go with a modified version where you continue contacting them about anything superfluous or selfish, but ghost whenever they need YOU for anything and take days to respond with an unsatisfactory explanation/apology. i find "soft ghosting" to be more satisfying and effective than hard ghosting or blocking, because it doesnt give the target a sense of finality or closure and strings them along leaving them confused until they give up.

in order for soft ghosting to work though, you need to ask yourself if they rely on you as much as you are relying on them. is the relationship a two-way street? or are you the only one traumadumping and venting to them? i think its only valid to be upset at someone "not being there for you" if you are there for them in an equal capacity. you might think, oh but i would be there if they needed me, but that doesnt actually impact anything. if they arent reaching out to you for support, the relationship is still imbalanced. they might be wanting a casual friendship, or they might not feel comfortable opening up for a variety of reasons. its still unfair to expect a level of support that for whatever reason they dont get from you. if the relationship is imbalanced in that way, i think its best to cut contact and find other friends with the same expectations as you.

im not meaning to imply that any of that is the case, but its something you need to consider before moving to the conclusion that this is a shitty friend you should exact your revenge on.

in my experience though, if you arent getting enough out of a friendship or relationship, its not a straightforward issue that can be resolved through communication. you cant ask someone to be there for you more in the same way you could ask someone to idk schedule plans 3 days in advance or stop bringing up triggering subjects. if they arent there for you its either because a) they genuinely dont care and communicating wont make them care; whatever level of support it does result in will be forced, insincere and temporary... or b) they arent able to handle your needs and you gotta stop looking for support where it cant exist. trying to fix a situation like this will only lead to resentment. stop pouring your energy and emotion into this situation and move on.

anyway. i think this is an issue you should just walk away from, but if you want to be petty and taper off communication by soft ghosting then more power to you. we never take the highroad here at mousemilf dot tumblr dot com.

jean is not the touchiest person out there, but she does enjoy holding you. not too big on pda either; the most you’ll get out of her in public is maybe a quick smooch on the cheek and hand holding🛐 other than that, shes quite reserved.

her hugs are very comforting, but the first couple of times it was awkward on her part. she was used to giving barbara and klee hugs, but this was different. she wasn’t sure where to put her arms, and if anything she got more frustrated the more she hesitated.

once she grows accustomed to it, she’ll be fine. she enjoys the warmth and innocence of hugs, especially if you’re taller than her.

like i said, in public she isnt very touchy. while running errands she does keep you close though, and enjoys holding your hand more and anything.

when you two go out on dates she is always touching you. hand in hand, arm around waist, whatever. theres always some type of physical contact, no matter what.

she loves cheek and forehead kisses, but likes receiving them more than giving really. shes a hyper one, and these kisses fluster her enough to make her quiet down. ( it’s so cute )

have i mentioned that she is affectionate?? because she really is. she does respect your boundaries though, but if you feel uncomfortable you’re going to have to speak up on it because she won’t notice.

as far as physical contact goes, it’s literally the last thing you will ever find on his mind. he’s too caught up with other things to think about physical affection

he does love you yes, but he doesnt show it through physical means. he does more gift giving, like when he sees a pretty flower that reminds him of you while going out to find starsilver shards.

if you want a hug or anything out of him you’re going to have to initiate it first— it’s foreign territory, and it’s not something he’s particularly interested in, so he doesnt feel the need to indulge in it

however the first time you two cuddle you can tell that he’s hooked. and he does a terrible job at hiding it.

now, he insists that you sit in his lap while he is taking notes because it “helps him focus better” and because “he’s so lonely”

we all know that aint true lmfao

he also really likes it when you play with his hair. please play with his hair, especially when you want him to get away from his studies. physical contact is completely foreign to him so something as simple as a scalp massage will make him melt 🛐

whenever he refuses to get away from his work, sucrose always asks you to step in because he wont listen to her

“y/n,” sucrose quietly approached you as you conversed with kaeya. you turned to her and nodded, albiet a bit concerned. sucrose never really needed you for anything, what did she need now that she couldn’t do herself?

kaeya took this as his sign to leave, but not before giving you a quick pat on the head. “yes, sucrose?” you said. “did something happen?”

she nodded meekly, watching kaeya walk off. a little bubble of guilt formed in her stomach from interrupting. “ah, i need your help with something. you see, mr albedo has been doing research non-stop on a new thing that has caught his eye since yesterday afternoon. i’ve tried to get him to put his research on pause, but,” she adjusted her glasses. “he doesn’t listen to me. i was hoping if you could maybe convince him to take care of himself?”

you pinched the bridge of your nose and sighed. he was doing it again. but you couldnt really blame him, he was terrible at keeping his hyperfixations under control. “i’ll take care of him, sucrose. don’t worry.”

she visibly relaxed at your words. sucrose flashed you a smile of gratitude, then waved and walked off to finish her errands in mondstadt.

it didn’t take him very long to notice your presence behind him. you were practically glaring at him, but there was no true anger behind it. wordlessly, albedo turned around in his chair and looked up at you.

you crossed your arms. “albedo,” you started, and it took everything in him not to sigh at the inevitable lecture.

“sucrose sent you, did she not?” he propped his arm up on the armrest of his chair, leaning his face into his hand as he gazed at you nonchalantly.

“of course she did. why aren’t you taking breaks?” he turned his chair back around, but you sat on the desk he was working at. you placed your hand on top of his papers and he shot a glare at you. it didnt phase you in the slightest.

“i have work to do. it’s much easier to do it all at once than stop inbetween.”

“have you at least been taking care of your basic needs? when was the last time you ate, or drank water?”

your eyes softened when he looked away.

hopping off of the desk, you grabbed his hand and pulled him away from his work ( gently, of course ). he barely protested.

you started muttering about how he needs to take better care of himself while pouring him a cup of water and making him a simple sandwich. he was a bit disappointed in himself for making you worry, and ate the food you gave him guiltily.

you pinched his cheek as he ate, giving it a light tug. he slapped your hand away playfully and a bit of the guilt he felt lifted when he heard your laugh. “i’m sorry you have to go through this for me.”

you shook your head. “you just need to learn how to stop yourself. you’re smart albedo, i’m sure you’ll figure it out in no time.”

he finished eating his food and, uncharacteristically, pulled you in for a hug. albedo rested his forehead against your shoulder, relaxing even further when you weaved your fingers through his hair.

okay first off, yes please help him take care of his skin but be nice about it, he is self conscious about his skin and will think you think hes ugly if you dont bring it up right- best way to go about it is say that you know it bothers him and makes him uncomfortable physically and mentally and you want to help him and you think that these products could help

cause he appreciates you looking out for him a lot

it also helps if you do a skin care routine with him! he thinks of it as a fun bonding time for the both of you and you being there in the habit of doing it everyday helps to remind him to do it everyday

at the beginning he could be very selfish and demanding of you (mainly of your attention and time) while also not giving you much in return- he didnt mean to, he legitimately has no idea what a healthy relationship looks like, all he knows is that he craves your attention and love but doesnt know how to give it back and is scared to anyways

you're really gonna have to be patient with him, help him to understand that you need to be given affection as well and that relationships require work from both sides - hell take everything you say very seriously because he doesnt want to disappoint you

he opens up in odd increments, hell go from you cannot know anything about me to heres my life story in 10 minutes, leaves out details here and there that hell save for another time, but hes not trying to trauma dump or anything its just so healing for him to be able to get it out to a positive outlet that sometimes he can give you a bit much without warning, but of course you want to help him so you comfort him as best you can

so scared of touching you, at first hes wary even with wearing gloves because just what if - what if something goes wrong and suddenly you're gone, he cant handle that

but he slowly gets there, first getting more comfortable with just you touching him and then hell carefully link his pinky with yours or press your foreheads together, small things that you learn to love

when he learns to control his quirk to the point of not having to worry about this anymore, he excitedly runs up to you hands out and just grabs you, let's his hands run all over your body in the most innocent way possible, for the first time he can actually feel you fully and hes so in love

if anyone even dared to hurt you he would kill them without a second thought, you are without question the most important thing on this planet, nothing else matters

he can be extremely possessive, but it's mainly because hes terrified you'll leave. he doesnt think hes attractive or has a good personality or any good redeeming qualities, he has no idea why someone as perfect as you would even consider looking in his direction, but he never wants you to leave

god he loves kisses. so much. could kiss you for the rest of eternity and would never get bored. when you pull away he will chase your lips and pull you in again

tell him hes gorgeous please. he needs to hear it, he has no idea how genuinely beautiful he is :(

he loves when you wear his clothes. they're more than likely all very dirty, especially if you wear them long enough to get them to smell like you because he wont wash them just to keep the smell (so you're probably gonna have to wash his clothes and help him to get into the habit of doing so), but he thinks you're so gorgeous in his clothes. its probably another aspect of him being possessive and liking things that make it obvious that you're with him, but he wouldnt mind if you stole everything in his closet

loves having you seated on his lap, especially during important meetings. yeah, hes got the hottest s/o on the planet, no one else can have them, cope.

seriously he loves showing off that you're with him he will brag endlessly if the situation allows it

loves playing video games with you of course, at first you were lucky to be able to be seated at his side and watch as he played, but now he got you your own special controller and cant wait to continue playing whatever 2 player game he can find

he gets you really cute gifts, probably stolen or things he found laying around, but they're always so soft - the sweetest gift he ever gave you was one of his old plushies that he keeps in his room, he washed it and everything for you and gave it to you so that even when hes not there you have something of him

loves when you play with his hair, it's probably tangled 90% of the time because he cant be bothered to even think about brushing his hair but will let you brush it for him and run your fingers through it and everything

though he does whine when you accidentally brush too hard and pull on his hair harshly, but his hair is seriously tangled and the brush might get stuck in it unless you're brushing it often

wants to protect you from the world. hes so worried about you constantly, he doesnt know what hed do if something happened to you, but if you're out hes always got an eye on you if hes not physically holding onto you

A/n: its all i could think of when i saw tom in that tank top- and

It was another day in the shop, silence filling the room as you walked around to see the stuff you and tom made, the small store cozy, mostly green and beige everywhere to get a warm mood going.

The room smelled like roses, an incense in your hand as you took your time, slightly bobbing your head to nirvana in the background.

The bell rung letting you know someone was here, you poked your head from the shelves and looked at the door, seeing tom struggle with donuts in his dominant hand while the coffee stood in the other.

“Youre late!” You smiled and he groaned, thanking you when you made your way over to grab the donuts. “Im not late- your just early” he said, watching as you took a donut out and bit into it.

You and tom shared the shop, yes he had dreams of going to be a actor but he wasnt gonna ditch you. Youve both been best friends since he accidentally tripped you and made you cry in 5th grade, which he begged to do your homework as an apology. But there was always a tension when you both grew up, he sent you letters, well check up letters, if you need help on your homework letters, sometimes a hershy bar glued to it.

You told him your okay all the time and to stop wasting time on you, telling him to go feed his dog or clean his room because you knew he always forgot. You sent letters back too, you both didnt call each other because you liked the old ways and he admires that, he liked that you rode on your skateboard just to see him and ask him hows hes doing, he just felt like you are heaven sent.

“Righttt, well i got some crystals” you smiled at him, setting the donuts on the small white table before grabbing the box of crystals. “Y/n you know i dont like that witch stuff!” He glared at you and placed the coffee down next to the donuts.

“But tommy!” You smacked your lips, bending your knees repeatedly like a child. “They’re so beautiful and they mean something! I even got candles and cardsssss!”

He gave you a blank stare, before looking away “fine” “thank youuuu!” You walked over and he sat in his stool infront of the turntable, you made your way over and set the box in his lap, getting on your knees and opening the box.

“Swear that you wont curse me or this has no bad juju” “i just have to clean them first-“ “Y/N!” He groaned “whatttt!” You poked his leg, “stop being mean to me!”

“Im not being mean to you!” He looked down at you, you let out a hmph and got up, snatching the box before taking it into the backroom where your shared stuff went.

“Im sorry y/n!” He said, looking in the direction of the back room but sighed when he didn’t get an answer, instead of saying something again he got up to go back there, seemed like you went to the bathroom because you disappeared. He grabbed a bucket and filled it with water, then he grabbed a thing of clay that was wrapped in saran wrap to keep it fresh and went back to his turn table.

He set the stuff down, putting his foot on to buttom and watching the small circle turn before lifting his white shirt, revealing his abs right before his black tank top came down.

He heard the box of donuts opening which left a smile on his face, quietly walking over and sneaking behind the shelf before throwint his shirt at you, leaving a groan before you looked back at him, shooting him a glare.

“Can you hold that for me?” “You couldve kept it in the back smarty pants” “i guess i didnt want to this time” he shrugged with a smrik, walking off “your shirt stinks!” You lied, making him laugh and shake his head before sitting down and getting to work.

You looked through google trying to find more research about the crystals before tom called you for help. “Y/nnnnn!” “Yes thomas?” You asked, still looking at your phone.

“I need your helppp!” He said, looking down at the awkward clay bowl, a few lumps here and there in it. “Coming!” You stood and made your way over, wheb you peeked your head out you saw him trying to fix it.

His hair fluffy so his curles hanged over his head, his fingers painted with clay as he gently rubbed the bowl trying to flatten it out.

“What happened?” You asked and he sighed, shrugging “it just isnt working” “it’s probably like that because you didnt put on your lucky apron” you chuckled, grabbbing the both yours and his aprons next to the large green plant.

A loud groan left his lips as his shoulders slumped and rested his eblow on his knee, setting his cheek on his knuckles as he looked at you walking over. “Dont bring any bad spirits in here tom”

“Hey! Im not trying to!” He playfully rolled his eyes, you handed him his apron, small spidermans on it while yours had my little ponys.

“Alrightttt” you muttered, telling him to move his hand, when he did you sat on the leg nearest to you and he instantly wrapped his hand around your waist, watching as you dipped your hands in the water. “Its your turn to wash the aprons” you muttered, he let out a hum and a small laugh before you stepped on the button, letting the water drip from your hands and onto the clay.

“Can you make a heart in the middle?” He whispered, rubbing your side as he watched your hands work. “Whos it for?” You laughed and he shrugged “you” “me?” Your eyebrows furrowed and he squeezed your waist tight “yeah, why not?”

“Uh- i dont know?” You shrugged a bit, stuttering. Trying your hardest to focus but you messed up, a sigh leaving both of your lips as you had to restart.

You put the clay back in a glob, putting your hands around making it tall, a cough left toms lips as he looked away, while you tried your hardest not to laugh. “Y/n fix it” he asked. “I dont know...i kinda like it like this” you said, placing a hand on his knee.

“It looks like a penis” and with that you laughed “no seriously fix itttt!” “Okay okay, only if you let me do a reading on you”

“Y/n i dont like witchery” “but you like harry potter?” “I-its different” “fineee, i only wanted to know what your love life is looking like” you muttered and toms ears perked up. “You can find that out?” “Yeah, but you dont want to soooo-“

“Okay okay! Just fix please!” He lifted the knee that you were sitting on and rubbed your side letting you know he was ready. You chuckled and got to work.

About 5 minutes later you asked for toms hands, he gave them to you willingly and you sat all the way in his lap, tugging his hands forward his head was right in your neck, heavy breathing on your neck as you could help but get a little goosebumps on your neck.

You rocked his hands back and forth “mhm, just like that” you muttered “yeah like this?” He teased, “no your fucking up”. “Fuck off” you both laughed, you let his hands go and let him do it on his own.

“Are you ready for the reading?” You asked, tom sitting infront of you nervously and shirtless, both of your hands clean and creation drying in the back.

“I think so” he shrugged, you lit the sage “this is a cleaner okay, calm down. This is to save me and you from getting possessed”

His jaw dropped as he got up, a loud laugh leaving your lips before you told him your kidding. “Dont play like that y/n!”

You set the crystals out, on the end of the both of your ends of the table. “Y/n we arent transporting to another dimension, right?” He asked, looking at the sage and how professional it looks. “Noo we arent, you want the love reading or not”

“Im gonna shut up” he said and you agreed, telling him it would save the whole world. You shuffled the deck before knocking on it, his eyebrows furrowed as he let out that the sage stinks which made you shoot daggers.

“Alright tom” you let out a deep sigh, looking at the card infront of you. He looked at you confused, then looked at the cards.

“The Fool, High priestess, The Lovers, and death reversed” you looked up at him and lifted your eyebrows “are you resisting something?”

He shrugged “what could I possibly be resisting?”

“Im seeing soulmates, mystery and innocence. Maybe uhhhh something from childhood, someone from childhood”

He felt a cold chill, but made it stay hidden.

“Young, im getting young, you’ve probably walked by your soulmate already, had some type of chatting with them, gotten close to them, maybe some type of physical touch?” You mostly talked to yourself, tapping The Fool card before grabbing the deck, two cards flipping out and landing on tom. You reached over and grabbed them, “The World Reversed and The Star, tom you are holding something back and your spirits are giving you hope, they are hoping you are gonna speak up because you are disappointing them”

“Well im not holding anything back!” He said, panicked. “Do you think or feel like youve passed your soulmate?” You asked, he hesitatingly nodded his head. “That you have touched them?” He nodded again, a large smile on your face.

“Im so excited for youuu!” You danced in your chair, tom grinned a bit, “uhm with these card i feel like they ARE spiritual. Thomas” you glared at him. “And lets check the bottom of the deck”

You looked at the bottom and saw “temperance, i getting that after you do this, weight will be lifted off of your shoulders”

“Uhh okay” he awkwardly smiled, shifting in his seat. You looked at all the cards “lets get into looks”

“Im seeing a lot off y/s/c (your skin color), they might have y/e/c, i see they have a bright smile, y/h/c”

“Y/n?” He asked. You looked up at him and furrowed your eyebrows “why does that describe you?” “Describe me...?” You took it all in, going back and furrowing your eyebrows as you thought about what you said.

“Are you my soulmate?” He asked. “How am I supposed to know that? And uh, soulmates doesnt always mean that we like each other, were just connect platonically” “but what if we arent.......platonic soulmates?” He asked, looking at you.

“Why wouldnt we?” You did a panicked laugh. “I dont know” “do you think we are soulmates?” You asked, putting the cards down. “I mean, we get along really well” he looked away from you, you bit your lip.

“So we are soulmates,” “i guess yeah” he shrugged “platonic soulmates-“ “i-i dont think so” he looked at you, “tom what-“ “i dont wanna be platonic soulmates y/n”

Your eyebrows furrowed “do you like me?” You laughed, and he nodded, “i uh always have” he played with his fingers and looked down at his bare chest. “Why did you tell me sooner?”

“Huh?” He looked up at you. “You were obviously stressing for no reason-“ “do you like me too?”

“Yes” you shrugged, you had to. You noticed your love for him when he sent you your fith letter.

When you both pulled away you pressed your foreheads together, both laughing and pressing each others lips together again “im like 95 percent sure our spirit guides are high fiving each other right now” you muttered. “Yeah?” He asked, kissing the side of your lips. “Yeah” “mhm” “are they like watching us right now?”

“I dont wanna freak you out” you bit his bottom lip tugging it. “You wont freak me out i promise” “nahhhh”
