I am once again thinking about how I have empirical proof that my blood pressure goes through the roof when I’m pissed off. It doesn’t bode well.
#i went to the doctor this one time to talk about my digestive issues and it went badly because i was 19 so he straight up didn’t believe#that anything was wrong with me. and i was too timid to enforce boundaries#so essentially he spent ten minutes condescendingly explaining my own body to me and telling me i wasn’t having the symptoms i was having#and snorted and said ‘be honest’ when i said i wasn’t sexually active (i wasn’t)#then he made a big fuss of checking my blood pressure and was like ‘wait aren’t you usually 100 over 80’#and i was like ‘yeah i guess. why what am i right now?’#and he never said but he was concerned enough that he asked me to go see the nurse in a week#and i did and lo and behold; i was back to 100 over 80#guess why? the nurse didn’t say any out of pocket shit to me. amazing how that works out!#i was literally putting all my energy into not decking him lmao. no wonder my blood pressure shot up#and people wonder why i switched surgeries. he wasn’t even the worst doctor there and the receptionist was INSANELY rude#never again#personal
