You know, it makes sense why so many people love your art.

Just speaking from my own experience, I’m only really familiar with Hyper Light Drifter, and tangentially familiar with Dead Cells. I scrolled through your work because I really like how you handle line weight and color. I stuck around because I enjoy your writing style and the story concepts you come up with for these characters. You put genuine thought into the interactions you’re creating and that’s what makes it interesting.

Hell the first time I said “Goddamn” aloud when looking at you art was that line from V1 asking the Drifter if there was an afterlife, correcting itself, and specifically asking if the Drifter has an afterlife waiting for him.

That’s a raw ass line! The concept of a murder robot that knows for a fact the afterlife is real but not if you personally get one? Terrifying concept! Love it!

This was also literally the first time I’d ever heard of Ultrakill. Neat game, I dig the premise.

My point being, you come up with some really damn interesting concepts and then have the skills to execute those ideas.

I have almost no idea what’s going on otherwise, but I’m a fan of the silly bits regardless.

Man. I am. Speechless. This is insane. This truly means a lot. Im really happy that you liked all of that and the character interactions. I've always thought of headcanons for these characters with their personalities and how their respective environment shaped them, and ive always loved it when I see their personalities interact and clash with one another.

The three of them having to deal with death in such a different way is such an interesting concept to me and i inhale that dynamic.

What I also aimed to achieve when I make these comics is that even people outside of it would enjoy these characters and their dynamic :D because I really just do love writing a story about them.

Also, not much really happens during art process because my attention span is sometimes too short to make a much proper art Lmaoo. I mostly use 2 layers, for the very sketchy lineart and flat colors. And i sometimes add airbrush for lighting or mood. 👍

So I was thinking about Makino and the ASL brothers, as one does, and please imagine the following: Makino brings clothes for the boys. They each chose their own. She comes back some days later and Sabo and Ace are fighting over whose shirt it is and these pants are mine and I'm the oldest if I say it's mine then it is and your typical siblings fight. Makino thinks they're very cute and also the situation is funny but to stop the argument she simply starts writing their name on the tags of their clothes — littles Ace and Sabo (and Luffy so he wouldn't feel excluded).

They all keep the habit afterwards ❤️

Alternatively, I was thinking about it because the Revolutionary Army got Sabo's name thanks to it being written on the tag of his clothes, and was wondering why it was here.

Lars and Charles finding common ground...by shit talking Adler

I can imagine Charles doing some paperwork or research inside the safehouse, something stupidly long that Adler asked him to do. Then he starts grumbling about how Adler is an idiot, brainless pain in the ass and yada, yada, yada. And since he's so tired at that point, he just takes an empty notebook and starts writing all the complaints he has about Adler.

Soon he notices Lars looking over his shoulder at the notebook.

"What?" Charles asks irritated.

Lars raised an eyebrow. "Are those complaints against Adler?"

"Yeah, so?"

"...Mind if I write a couple of things?"

For the first time since he spoke with Lars, Charles smiled and gave him a pen. "Go on, write as much as you want."

Lars smiled maliciously in response, taking the pen. "Gladly."

By the end of the next two hours, between Charles and Lars had the notebook completely filled with complaints and trash talk about Adler. Soon they stared at the notebook with a satisfied smirk.

"That was satisfying." Charles said, taking off his glasses and pinching his nose bridge. "I never expected you had so many shit on Adler."

"Being fair, who doesn't in this place?" Lars said, shrugging.

"True, I guess they could kill for a way to vent about that idiot." Charles joked.

Then they processed the situation for a second, then smiled maliciously.

"So...do you have more empty notebooks?" Lars asked with a smirk.

Charles laughed and put a complete box of empty notebooks over the desk. "What kind of researcher doesn't? Mind managing the money?"

"I will, let's get this started."

Like that, the called "complaints notebooks" were born. Everyone paid a dollar and they get an empty notebook to rant about Adler, and those went to a drawer. What did they do with the notebooks? What else? Using them against Adler like blackmail.

In the end, everyone was in peace after venting...except Adler, who was wondering why Lars and Charles had that information.

I think I’ve done this before. But eh. Wouldn’t mind doing it again! I’ll just give out 5 or less/more facts about each of my OCs! Even my BOCW OC too!

I’ll start off with Tiala Toa!

Secretly have some shark plushies in her barrack. Got it from her little brothers and mostly from Kanoa. Knowing how much she loves them.

Tiala had never dated another guy after what happened to her Ex in High School. For she doesn’t want to feel humiliated again.

She’s the more protective one than her brothers. Even mostly to her little ones. (She only accepted Sami’s Wife. She’s nice.)

She did most of the house/yard work while her little brothers are having a Princess Treatment (that’s how it is here in Samoa/American Samoa) but she doesn’t mind (not to her mom-).

Have her mother’s look and strength from her father.

Kanoa Toa:

Out of ALL of his siblings. He’s the only one who knows how to braid or fix hairs. Very nice style though. His mom and his cousins taught him that.

Single. He’s been single ever since he was BORN. He has his charms but no luck in having a girlfriend. Even during high school no girls wanted him.

It’s funny that he got his Uncle’s (his dad’s brother) funny side. NONE of his parents are funny. So I guessed he would hang out with him most of the time.

Agnes Falagi:

She loves to draw. It’s like a hobby of hers. So she usually keeps a notebook in her pockets in case she gets bored during a mission.

She has photos of her mom and aunty on her phone. And would NEVER delete them no matter how full her phone storage was.

She used to have a pet kitten but it got lost. Never seen them again.

Agnes may have gone to jail ONCE for making illegal fireworks during 4th of July.

Nigel Harrison:

Pranking on everyone most of the time except Tiala. Tried many times but yet she somehow got away with it…

Always facetime to see his little sister after every mission and would smile to see her drawings of him.

Always scared of Price and his boys whenever he meets up with them. Because of his….AHEM. Past work. (Someone help this man. He’s being anxious-)

He mostly got his mother’s attitude of being pissed off with someone.

Him and Soap used to be friends when they first met at Las Almas. But he doesn’t know if they are right now…

Aelan Kalani:

Tiala is her favorite. For she hardly came over to her lab from being injured. She’s annoyed to see Kanoa, Agnes and Nigel for being reckless most of the time. That’s why she put Tiala in her favorite list.

Usually hides in her office to finish her work. But her mom always found her and scolded her for not resting.

She used to punch a Colonel in the face for threatening one of her patients who came in FIRST. (Her mom was proud though)

Always gets a photo by her little cousin to show about her Uncle and Aunty. She truly misses them.

REALLY ignored her grandparents call since they just met her a year ago and found out about her mom. (Asking for money perhaps…)

Alana Kalani:

Has a wine bottle hiding in her drawer for emergency (Mental emergency)

Kept a photo of the WTF team.

Got a mug that says “Best General Mom in the World”. A gift from the WTF.

Actually knows why people kept calling her MILF and Mommy (Agnes and Nigel explained that-)

Usually sends money to her little niece everyday just to spoil her.

Koa (BOCW OC):

Before becoming an asshole. He usually dresses up and has tea parties with his daughter when she’s little.

Actually kept a small photo of her daughter when she’s a baby to remind him of how much he wishes to turn back time.

Whenever he can’t sleep because of the nightmares he has about losing his daughter. He usually trains until he’s tired again.

Koa usually sees his sergeant as his son. He reminded him of his own son as well.

Would tease Adler about his soft side with his kids (Aleks sends some pics about it) but not in public though. For he respected Adler’s personal life.

If you were to give crests to Zoey and J.P from the og which would you pick and why

Thank Heavens you haven’t asked me about the whole Frontier group because I wouldn’t have been able to write a single word. Maybe I would have said both Takuya and Tomoki would share the Courage Crest, and ,honestly, I won’t hide I’m kinda in the same situation now, because Junpei and Izumi seem so perfect for the same crests as well.

I’d give them a mix of Friendship and Sincerity, because their arcs are two sides of the same coin and also deal with them starting to be more sincere to themselves, more genuine. They have got opposite yet complementary issues about friendship, so that crest spontaneously came up in my mind. However, let’s also talk about the fact their problems were lingering because they derived from a stagnant state in which they stubbornly refused to change or, as far as concerns Junpei, refused to accept they needed to change, pretend there was no need to.

In my opinion, Junpei could also be perfect for Love. No guys, not Knowledge. Junpei is a bad student. He might be kinda wise sometimes and have an academic knowledge, but the very first drama states he becomes a maths genius when he fuses with Bolgmon. Returning to the Love Crest…Yeah. I’m not saying it only because of his crush and devotion for Izumi, but also because this kid really didn’t know what bonding with people truly meant. He couldn’t really open his eyes in front of the fact friendship is one of the many shapes of love. Friendship led by shallow intentions and pursued with, again, shallow methods is nothing without love, which is what Junpei lacked at the beginning of his journey. I’d say Junpei’s path to discovering friendship is something that’s much deeper than what it is for Izumi. Izumi mostly discovers herself and her flaws through her development in DW; Junpei discovers what creating bonds with people, bonds of any nature, is like.

Still, I guess a Love Crest would be interesting for an older Junpei embracing unconditional love tbh. I can personally see him as that kind of person when he’s grown up but don’t mind me🤣💕.

I’l stand with them being a mix of Sincerity and Friendship, yes, -which is hilarious when it comes to the Sincerity side, since both Izumi and Junpei have got a lot of Mimi in their personality-.

Charles Moore was a busy man. With his classes, his books and conferences, he had no time for anything or anyone. Either for romance. Probably that's why he never bothered to find a wife or even look into a stable relationship.

Instead, he always went with hook ups.

But this time it went in a direction he never expected. With the woman he slept with almost three months ago in his door holding her abdomen, he knew he had screwed up.

He didn't even bother to let her in, and just heard her out of pure curiosity. And as she spoke, he felt bored and more pissed off. When she stopped speaking, his only reaction was laugh.

A cold, malicious laugh.

"How are you even sure that's my child, huh? I bet I wasn't the only man you slept with that night." He said with a disgusted face. "And do you expect me to believe that thing is mine?"

"I-I haven't slept with anyone else since! I was sick!" The woman tried to defend herself and convince him.

Charles looked at her coldly. "Don't lie to me, I know you're trying to trap me with a little bastard."

"Wha-?"

"Guess what? I have no interest on you or that thing in your abdomen."

The woman just looked down and clenched her fists. "At least help the kid! I-I'm not ready to be a mother yet! Even if you have to comprove somehow that this is your child-!"

"Why's that my problem?" He asked, lighting a cigar. "For all I care, throw the little shit in an orphanage." The lady sighed softly. "Do you really don't care if this is your child?" "Why should I?" Charles asked with a scoff. "I'm busy to even think of caring for a brat."

"...Fine." The lady said, frowning. "Then go and die alone, prick." Charles just closed the door in her face and went back inside, going for a single glass of whiskey. He didn't care for the stomps out his door or the curses the lady was spitting about him. He stayed reading next to the fireplace with his notebook by his side, not even giving the woman a second thought and simply keep doing his research for an article.

By the end of the nine months, he already forgot about that woman and the child. Honestly, he had more things to do and think about.
