Heya Anon!

Tbh I don't really know, Akane is a character who has been dealing with a thousand death flags leading to nothing since his most serious appareance in the manga. And this new timeline is not an exception.

Especially since we know that Kako and Mirai gave him 'You have to try to stay alive' rule as one of his duties

Implying that it is dangerous to altern the past and be the Clock Keeper of the Present, that they have to stay alive to make sure everything goes according to plan.

It also ties to my theory that Akane is the first human clock keeper of the present; Because after all if Kako and Mirai have been asleep since they changed the past in this new timeline, they couldn't have chosen anyone during 1968 and the current events in the manga (2015).

Akane is the only person who is directly coming from a different timeline even compared to Nene and Teru who just remember the stuff from the previous one, being on a time limit before their memories are erased. Akane brought along with him the fact that he is a clock keepers and mystery n°1, something he couldn't be in this new timeline in the first place since both of them don't exist.

But I digress.

Akane has been a little bit different since they came back from the boundary closest to the far shore. It's not that surprising with how much the previous arc must have taken a toll on him. Understanding that Aoi wanted to die, losing her, being impaled, having Teru confirming that he will lose years of his lifespan by turning back human too soon, being beaten up twice by number 6, etc...

Akane is like Kou and Nene on this point, a character who wants to do a lot, but is always a step behind when it comes to supernaturals. And like the other two, it is starting to show in his attitude.

Akane has been shown more unsure of his choices and of his opinions when it's something that never posed him a problem before. He is more scared of Teru (when he knows the exorcist by now) and of being hurt in general,. Something he hasn't showed as much before, liking and enjoying life of course, but never being afraid to be in the first line even if it meant being hurt; Now he acts like he is truly scared of dying.

And he lets things involving Aoi not being his first priority. Refusing to listen to Natsuhiko plan to even try to heal her. Akane has always been showed to be really proactive anyways, that's one of his main character trait. So seeing that he is putting something for a later date and it involves Aoi can be seen as a little bit strange. Akane still loves her deeply and all but he seems to have other plans now, which we learn later in the clock keeper arc. He is not even looking at her directly, having an air of melancholy when he announces he will heal her but not now

That's more of a stretch now, but I think it's pretty safe to assume that Akane has known since a long time what it meant to be the clock keeper of the present, that they had the power to change the timeline. But nothing special has been happening to make the clock keepers take this drastic decision, especially since we know that nothing has been ever changed since the Yugi Twins 4th birthday at least. Which is why he probably never thought about it before. But now that he knows the school mysteries are more important, not just dangerous supernaturals but are protecting the land, and that Hanako has been destroying the yorishiros (which to me, seem to be the seals to keep away the God from the pit/the God Sumire was supposed to marry) he seems to be more aware of this duty in general.

Or if he was made aware of it recently anyways, it's something that the clock keepers must have brought up before the fall festival, being something that even someone as 'Carpe Diem, it is what it is' Aoi Akane may not be able to entirely ignore.

He has been forced A LOT in his role lately too and he clearly doesn't really like it, even if he is good at it.

He finally say 'we' when talking about the clock keepers, and consider even himself as the biggest threat of the school. He doesn't know what to think directly of the supernaturals or seven mysteries now. Knowing that they have an important role to fulfill but still not trusting them at all, knowing of their dangerous tendencies to hurt humans. He can't even look Teru in the eyes when he asks him if the clock keepers are planning to change the timeline over and over again. His feelings for the clock keepers being clearly a difficult case for him to tackle down even if he pretends it's not.

I always said this kinda as a joke, that Akane had the role of a Chosen One but went 'fck no' with it. But I think that it really is this kind of stuff now. Like for Nene who is 'the Kannagi' of the current time and get to make choices and stuff she doesn't want to do. Akane is the same with his role as the clock keeper of the present. Because no matter what he says, he kinda has accepted this fate now, preferring to know what is happening (since he realizes how ignorant he was in the "to the far shore" arc), and having a way to be able to change things. Sacrifying his chance to be 'a normal student'.

But he is not happy with any of it, being the one on the front row to endure all of the supernaturals choices, even knowing that if they don't change back the timeline, he will be the last one to remember. And as said previously, he is now a part of it! He is of course still more human than supernatural but he still acknowledges his role way more than before. Akane hates the way supernaturals work and now what he is doing? Being one of the reason the world is in this state. Of course it's taking a toll on him.

Of course, he doesn't accept everything right away, like Aoi's engagement, it's at first played for jokes but even then, it's understandable with how far their relationship evolved in the previous timeline. He is now thrown into the role of 'the childhood friend who never stood a chance in the first place'. I do think he has a right to be a little bit upset

But after understanding that technically, it's not that much of a big deals in the current events of everything else, since at first most people seems okay, he goes right away to do what the clock keepers asked him to do. Even going to go ask for Teru's help when he knows how much he destroyed his trust.

To finish this long stuff, I think the real big ''death flags' for what is happening right now is of course the fact that he got cursed by the red house (which is a supernatural who has already tried to fool him in the og timeline btw) .

And that there is a chance, like said earlier, that there is only one Akane like him for now, and that he could get stuck here or at least not coming back entirely as the Aoi Akane we knew in the manga (a chance for him to become a full supernatural for example, to be forever now the clock keeper of the present) But for this tbh we don't know a lot it's really more speculation because we know nothing of what could happen to him particulary.

My fav 'suspicious af thing he said' for now in the new timeline is this.

When he starts the manga with this.

With the same belief than Hanako that 'death is the end' and now he is considering the After Death, with everything he saw of course, but specifically for him in this case.

To be fair, he’s good at that. He’s been worrying for most of his life, about brothers and battles and all the small intricacies that accompany being second-in-command of, functionally, most of the GAR. He forces it into planning and practice until it eases enough to let him grab a few hours of sleep, but it never really– leaves.

And now he’s got something else to worry about.

Oh, don’t get him wrong– he’s worried about Obi-Wan for a while now. But this–

He doesn’t come down to the barracks on his own, despite Cody’s hopes after the first night. And they keep finding him in… odd places.

Watching the blurring stars on the observation deck, his comm unit methodically disassembled in front of him. In the rafters of the cargo bay, datapads stacked perilously next to him on a folded crane. In the laundry room, the sound of his pacing muffled under the thunk-thunk-thunk of the enormous machines.

He comes with them, when they ask. But the bags under his eyes grow darker, and his voice grows quieter, and Cody worries and worries and worries.

It translates perfectly well.

Obi-Wan closes his eyes. Leans forward.

"Ben Kenobi," he says. He glances up, meets Cody's questioning gaze, quirks a smile- "Reporting for duty."

Her excitement peels away the years.

She sounds so-

Stats takes over briefly. Coordinates. The landing dock.

Cody tunes him out and watches Obi-Wan instead, feeling faintly ill.

"It's good to hear your voice, Mel," Obi- General Kenobi says at last. "I've- missed you. Very much."

"And yours, Ben," says Mel, and that's a new name too, one Cody doesn't recognize- "We missed you."

Ben.

"Sir," Cody says cautiously. The bridge is silent, all eyes on them, Waxer's wide-eyed expression mirroring his own nausea. "Were we-- your name--?"

Have they been naming him incorrectly? All this time, have they been doing him wrong? His file had said Obi-Wan, everyone had said Obi-Wan, but they of all people know files aren't the half of it-- had they asked? Actually asked his name? He'd said to call him Obi-Wan, but he's always prioritized them, their comfort, he might not have-

"Oh," General Kenobi says. He laughs, a little half-hearted thing, and Cody's chest seizes. "Oh, no, I- Mel, she- she couldn't pronounce my name, when I arrived. It was either Ben or Bibi, and I just- kept it. Obi-Wan is more than fine. I haven't been Ben in a very long time. It's their name more than mine, really."

And yet he'd chosen it, when they'd asked for ID.

Cody doesn't stare. Not noticeably, at least. He turns his gaze towards the glass, ducks his head towards Obi-Wan and mutters something along the lines of nice to know we have one friend down there, at least, something that gets another snort, and considers the weight of this newest discovery.

If anyone could shoulder two names like that, he supposes, it would be their general.

The gunship is packed with most of Ghost's officer corps, all of them eager and wary in equal measure-- even the barest whisper of Separatist sentiment is enough to put them all on edge, because even a whisper making its way to someone in authority indicates a seething mass under their feet that had gone unheard, but it's not quite enough to quell the rustling excitement. Cody suspects Obi-Wan can tell, because his lips twitch upwards as soon as they step onboard, but he doesn't say a word.

Instead, he takes up his position by the portal and presses a hand to the glass.

How did you come up with roleswap Elfilis' design? It's really cool!

Hi! Thank you so much! :D I'd love to share my thought process! Gather round the armchair by the fireplace, friends! It's story time!

I've said before that the Forgotten Land Roleswap started off as a doodle that swapped Dedede and Bandana Dee's roles as Player 2 and the Brainwashed Beast. But when I realized how fun that one little change was, how about EVEN MORE changes? That's how my one-time doodle turned into the full AU story. I swapped Meta Knight and Kirby, Clawroline and Leongar, and Sillydillo and Gorimondo- and because the story is so Waddle-Dee centric, I promoted Dedede to "Player 1" since the stakes would be higher for him as their King.

So now I had a story that had a lot of opposite traits to canon and I wanted to explore that further! When it came to the matter of Elfilin, I thought he would probably behave too similarly towards Dedede and Meta as he did to Kirby and Bandee. He'd be friendly and trusting, communicative, optimistic, knowledgeable, and cooperative. So how about providing them a travel companion who is defensive, has trouble communicating, a little wild, uninformed about themselves and the world around them, and has a bit of a temper?

But working with all these opposite traits didn't feel in-character for Elfilin anymore. So my natural next step was to swap Elfilin with Elfilis and make a new version of the Forgotten Land's lost little pup!

Enough yapping about the context behind my decisions, tho. How'd I come up with Roleswap Elfilis' design?

I see you out there, Fecto Forgo fans. Maybe somebody out there's thought, "Roleswap Elfilis does not look like them! Why not? That's what the other 50% of the Ultimate Life Form looks like! I demand justice for the angry glowing rat fetus!"

Maybe nobody has ever thought this. But I wonder sometimes lol

Your feelings are valid, friends. Please lemme explain my reasonings.

This fella, to me, is the abandoned wet specimen left to float in a jar for who-knows-how-long after a forcible physical and mental separation via spatial teleportation shenanigans. And I think part of their appearance is due to their role as the trapped and forgotten half.

The role of the half that got away fully formed his own body and inherited some traits from the complete being-

For Elfilin in canon, he got ears that are proportionally huge compared to the rest of his body, blue eyes that sparkle with the light of a thousand destroyed planets, a tiny bit of pink fur for his adorable blushies, and a really long fluffy tail. Maybe becoming a being free of chaos gave him those sweet eyes like Kirby and the Waddle Dees have.

My reasoning is that whichever half ends up escaping the Lab and fully forming their own body, they would carry the major physical traits the other wouldn't inherit.

Anyway, that left Elfilis with the horns, colorful and expressive eyes, whiskers, beige chest fluff, opposable thumbs, and pink tummy fur.

Elfilin gets the long tail in the bodily divorce so Elfilis has a short stubby little cotton tail like a bunny. Like if he ended up with just the very tip of the Ultimate Life Form's tail.

Behold this diagram above I came up with two years ago! Disclaimer: the canon Elfilin is the one in the chart. And I draw him a little differently these days lol. I ain't showing anyone how he ended up in the Roleswap yet tho!!!! >:0

But Roleswap Elfilis is more than just "baby version of the Ultimate Life Form..."

All the differences in the Forgotten Land Roleswap from canon stem from one event in the timeline. One change that I added to the events that were already supposed to take place. It's why the Ultimate Life Form split differently. Why the Beasts have different roles and aesthetics. Even why the portal took Bandana Dee and Kirby before Meta Knight and King Dedede.

How did that saying go again? The flap of wings somewhere can influence a bunch of huge changes somewhere else down the line...? What was the name of that theory again....? Hmm. Not important, I guess.

Considering all the gross missions Jordan gets to after S.T.A.R.S. disbands (The Mansion Incident, Spain 2004), I like to think it’s because she’s built up a sort of immunity to some of them because of the amount of times she’s been exposed so she’s pretty clean.

Also Wesker is asymptomatic and fully stable despite his horrible concoction of weird ass viruses, which all have different methods of transmission. The T-Virus mainly spreads through open wounds, blood contact and biting, his strain specifically being selective iirc so I don’t think that one would spread to her at all. Unless his nut or saliva (when making out .. or something..) has a huge viral load which I highly doubt, then yeah she’d probably get them. I know I’ve stated before that he likes to bite during sex but that still wouldn’t effect her, I don’t think he’d pierce through her skin. These same points apply to Uroboros since it also has the same transmission factors if I’m correct..

Besides that I kinda just wanted her to be a regular ass person😭😭😭 throughout canon she gets weaker and weaker as she gets older until Re5 hits and I don’t want to ruin that since it’s realistic. She’s an old woman, let her be one. Plus, I didn’t want to go down the typical OP virus infected route, I feel like it’s more interesting that way.

starstruck, and most of popstar, would have absolutely no concept of this! meta knight however, as i've said before, is an outlier to me in that i believe he understands romance to an extent.

i do this partially for the bit. i think it's sort of funny if the most lone-wolf guy is the only one capable of getting a recognisable and debilitating crush. but also because in my world-building the Celestials (meta knight's species) did have a social structure with complex relationship hierarchies, including socially binding contracts and unique role designators within those hierarchies.

i wouldn't necessarily compare this to "marriage", but in a modern context if they'd had modern feelings... maybe they could have done it that way, willingly and for emotional reasons. meta knight himself would certainly romanticise it as such!

the way Celestials entered into this sort of thing was complex, and varied depending on the roles being assigned to participating parties. while not all systems would use a visual signifier of the relationship, they certainly did use them!

wearing the symbol or the colour of a higher-ranked individual in your system was a very common practice, especially for orbiters. these could be removeable items- such as an accessory- or in some cases would be more like a mark left on the skin.

meta knight could only know about these things historically, as he's never met another Celestial. but if given the right opportunity, he wouldn't be opposed to putting them into practice. he's maybe even daydreamed about it, a lot tiny bit. for the kind of bond he'd be imagining, either a mark (which he wouldn't want to do to her), or a small accessory such as a bow in his colour would be customary.

thankfully, she already wears a bow, and she loves to play matchy-matchy!

we should have had more profiler mulder!!!!!! 💔 i would love to hear your take on his skills

I needed to think about this for a little bit because yeah, at first glance, we don't seem to get a ton of profiler-Mulder. The obvious episode is "Grotesque," where we also see the dangers that job holds for him (even though that episode imo greatly exaggerates them due to the nature of the case). But what does a profiler really do? They analyze and interpret. And I think Mulder does that a lot. When you break it right down to its component parts, I think that's the essence of Mulder. This is going to be very oversimplified, but these are my thoughts:

Scully approaches problems by asking for the empirical facts and variables and makes sense of them through the lense of science. Mulder's approach to knowledge, on other hand, is a completely different one. Scully draws an inference based on hard evidence in front of her. Mulder, in some way, asks: "What is this evidence doing here in the first place?" (Which is why they need each other. Together, they create a whole picture.)

Mulder's approach is very much based on looking at a thing and putting it in a context, while Scully looks at smallest elements and pieces together a picture from there. She works from the inside out and he works from the outside in, and that's also why they're so good together.

Mulder is very interested in finding the cause for an action. Scully is very interested in finding the cause for an effect. Or in other words, you drop a vase and it breaks. Scully would ask: "Why did this vase break when it hit the floor?" Mulder would ask: "Why did you drop this vase?" And both are questions that need answering.

So I think being a profiler is a part of who Mulder is. And I think maybe he had to teach himself from a young age to interpret and predict people's behavior based on what they weren't saying, because nobody would talk to him (which is my interpretation of his childhood). Maybe it's just a natural skill plus a psychology degree and work experience. Who knows. But I think even if it's never called by that name, Mulder does a lot of profiling.

Okay so uh this is pretty hard to answer in a way that precisely expresses what's in my head in words ngl so the short to the point answer would be that...I play the game. I get to Snowdin. I get to the point where we meet Sans. I put the Frisk sprite next to Sans sprite. I go:

Yeah I don't know. Maybe they're 2 of my favourite characters. I just really liked seeing these 2 characters together. First it was the character design appearance that pulled me in. They just look good together in my eyes. Then I studied more of these characters individually and I was like, what if they're together? 👀 hohoho the potential :]

Hey, i felt like i was going insane looking for alutegra content that i hadn't already devoured. I don't want to bombard you with too many questions, so I'll just ask you one at a time.

What are some headcannons that you have for them, tame or not? And please don't hold back lol

OOhhh um for headcanons, I fear i have too many. So i guess let's start with the tame one first!

First is their birthday! I did looked into the real historical figure Alucard is based on, Vlad III Dracula. I do perceive his life as Alucard's life (and also i have the headcanon that Alucard is a middle child, like the real Vlad III). While I cannot find the exact date of birth of Vlad III Dracula, I heard it is said that he was born in winter before Christmas, so I just make a wild guess that his birthday is somwhere around 1st-20th of December. That makes him a Saggitarius.

Integra's birthday tho, unclear to me, but there is a fanon birthday of hers falling on 27th of October, 1977. So i just ran with it. If we take that date, she's a sun Scorpio and moon Taurus. Personally, this are really random ass birthday headcanon but i think the astrology chart fits with their personality so yeah why not.

Also another headcanon is that im kinda convinced Integra have eating disorder. We didn't see her eating on screen at all, and a lot of times she was shown staying up late at night, that might be the insomnia. Plus the cigar intakes. Hellsing is just ED vs ED. Major is the binge eating ED and Integra is the avoidant intake ED. She's awfully lanky. I would prefer to imagine she starts gaining weight after the war and smoke less on Seras' strict pressure.

Some more random headcanon about Integra is based on the manga appearance of her. One is from her prototype design from Hi-and-Low. She wears a short skirts here and we can CLEARLY, VERY VISIBLY sees a dot on her left thigh. I just assume she have a mole on her left thigh. I don't care if it was a printing mistake, I think it's cute.

Secondly is her hair, on the left is first appearance of her, and the right is in volume 2, when she was having a meeting before the Valentines attacked them. Her hair is curled in this, especially in the first pic the curls are tight, almost like Shirley Temple locks type of curl.

during the duration of volume 2, after the attack, her hair starts stretching out. Almost flattened out entirely, but the end of her hair is still slightly curled a bit, but the roots are entirely straightened. So I assume she isn't a naturally wavy haired person, her hair is probably flat. Which means the locks are curled. That's cute, I assume that after the Valentine attack she had been rushing from missions to missions non-stop so she didn't have much time left to curl her hair so it falls flat out.

Her hair is EXTREMELY long I know it is a hassle to deal with. My headcanon is that Alucard definitely helped her untangle her hair sometimes, when Walter isn't around. Integra would not want to bother Walter like late at night just to brush her hair and I know she probably have Walter or maybe maids (though we didn't see any) assisted her but they cannot be there 24/7 just to helps her put things up especially when it's like midnight. And she stays up late a lot. It would be cute to think about, it's midnight and he's in her bedroom, brushing her hair and his reflection does not shows on the mirror, she can only hear and feel him tugging her hair. Maybe they chat idly, or maybe they're quiet, just run with the idea! I love to think about soft intimate moments between them like that!!! Maybe he was the one who helped curled her hair!! Let's be delulu!!!

Talking about delulu, there was also this that I noticed. This is very random but also sounds like it makes sense (if we are delusional enough). So we know Hirano Kohtah drew inspiration from both the Stoker's novel and the Coppola's movie. He didn't say which one he referenced more than the other. And, Coppola version is known for using green as the colour coding to signify Dracula's bride. Mina Harker played by Winona Rider wears majorly green. Majorly of her wardrobe is green. Dracula's wife who died in the beginning also wears majorly green.

This was used in adaptations especially the stageplays. First is the Korean Dracula musical, second is BBC Dracula (this is actually a spoiler alert)

There is also this version of Dracula and Jonathan Harker's Tango by Polish National Opera, where we can all see Jonathan wears a green waistcoat.

Okay alright, now who in Hellsing wears a green coat majorly of the time on anime. Who I wonder !!! (THE ANSWER IS INTEGRA DUH). That is why I very oftenly draw her with green clothing! I see there are interpretations that colour her coat brown like a leather jacket. I love that too!!!! Inside my head tho, I most of the time colour her wearing green because of this reason.

If i remember anything else I will talk about it in more posts. There is the headcanon about how Alucard is only shown to be drinking blood type A and Integra have blood type A, not really a headcanon tho, kinda canon. But i need to collect the infos again because I don't have it here with me. I will make another post about this later when I have time tho!!!

Okay to the less tame headcanons!!!!!!! I have a concrete belief that Alucard is a stone top in the sense that he doesn't want to be touched without initiation, overally he would prefer to be the one who service Integra rather than let her touch him (could be explained to be due to his past trauma). I have a LOT of different nsfw headcanons in different situations. One of the headcanons is asexual Alucard. Presumably, vampires in the setting of Hellsing are infertile, as they already state vampires procreate through bites. There is no mentioning of copulation. So I assume they're dead and therefore infertile. There is probably no way for them to be physically aroused at all. But more than that, I think Alucard doesn't perceive sexual actions the way human perceive it as sexual. Since he does not have physical reaction to such actions, it didn't click with him to perceive it in the sexual sense.

HOWEVER, he's a spineless people pleaser when it comes to Integra. And that they have a telepathic link, I think it function in a way that if her mood is excited he can kind of sense her high. He probably LOVE to service her and just get her off, and so he could go on for hours just focusing on pleasing her without needing to satisfy himself physically because he probably can't orgasm in the human way. Alucard's desire seems more like hunger than sexual to me. Integra could just offer to let him eat her out during her period and he would be screaming YIPEEE!! off the roof jumping up and down excitedly clapping his hands wagging his tails. Actually I'm kinda baffled that this isn't more common in their nsfw fics like I thought there would be more contents about him eating her period out! We need to starts working people chop chop! (Im so hungry I would eat any alutegra contents atp). In short, my homeboy Alucard is asexual and autistic and his special interest is Integra!! He probably stims by eating her out!!! I KNOW for a fact she and her arousal probably smelled and tasted good asf to him during their session! On Integra's side, it probably take lots of times for her to get used to being the only one receiving and not feel guilty about it. She might be slightly concerned that she's hogging all the attention without doing anything in return before she sees how enthusiastic Alucard is about pleasing her and he probably had to reassured her plenty of times that he does not need anything in return because servicing her is already too good for him! And that he felt like he is the one benefitting more from this since he gets to touch and eat and lick her all he wanted !! They reminds me of the video of a cat grooming the forehead of a rabbit, both of them thought theyre the one benefitting more from the interaction, since cats groom others to express dominance and authority while rabbits receiving groom are the superior ones. It's cute! Integra is too much of a pillow princess, to me she's very much of the type that would just laze around and demand to be pampered and taken care of! A true commander who boss people around!!

On the topic of preference and sexuality, besides that I think Alucard is demipanromantic asexual, I think Integra is gynephilic. To me Alucard looks pretty feminine in the manga. She probably sees his other forms and think well I should unpack something about myself but I have a job so idrc bout that rn.

Off to the next topic!!! Still about nsfw headcanon tho!!! This time I'm talking about the dom/sub dynamic in bed if they ever want to get really freaky!!!!!! I think they takes turn playing around with roles and scenarios, especially scenarios, they love the banters and probably do lots of play pretened. In my headcanon, Alucard is probably a soft dom in the sense that he praise her relentlessly and overstimulate her and might hurt her and push her limits a bit if she asked for it beforehanded and sweet talk her to it. in sttmh, there are multiple things that go into how AT, DF, and HP works- it cannot be reduced to simple numbers (looking at YOU, skellz)

basically, i have a few hidden stats going around in the background that also play a part, and i also factor in intent usually to attacks, so higher LV does not necessarily mean stronger :)

also, there's a verrrry specific secret stat that Classic is particularly high in. ;D

SO! if Classic's blaster was to meet another blaster, erm, laser-to-laser, they would not always be equal in power- it would depend a lot on who Classic's fighting, intent, and again, *secret stats*
