Hello it’s me, Rui again (idk if you remember me, i left an appreciation comment a while ago)

but I have Chuuya headcanons if your interested (I’ve never wirrten headcanons out before so I’m sorry if they are bad help) I’m so embarrassed writing this

(if you end up liking them i can definitely talk to you about Akutagawa headcanons too if you want lmao)

Chuuya is nauseous for days after using corruption and dazai has to do his best at taking care of him (he sucks at it)

Having Arahabaki inside him causes him to need a lot more rest than the average person. Most of the time he tries to ignore this due to his loyalty to his work and he ends up either passing out or making himself sick for weeks because of it

Arahabaki in a small body like his makes it so that he tends to eat a lot more food than the average person due to energy being consumed faster. When he gets sick he tends to bring up a lot more.

Arahabaki loves to scream in Chuuyas head, causing him to get major migraines. Even when Dazai touches him, the nausea doesn’t usually leave

Chuuya usually ends up vomiting the second that corruption is nullified

HC (Kunikida bashing, i love Kunikida but i need chuuya to suffer so i can have Soukoku content) once chuuya ran to the agency office to get dazai to shut arahabaki up, but he ended up throwing up all over the agency floor and Kunikida yelled at him making his migraine worse, sending him into a panic attack. Dazai ran to his aid

chuuya often can’t make it to the bathroom in time because his migraine make it so that he can’t see or walk properly. Dazai usually keeps a bin nearby his bed during these times

chuuya has such a large amount of pride that he’s afraid of throwing up in fear that dazai will think he’s disgusting so he usually tries pushing him away (it doesn’t work)

arahabaki gives him the worst migraines when he’s stressed

due to past lab experiences, chuuya usually goes to sleep/passes out when he’s stressed because then he doesn’t have to deal with the pain. When he wakes up however, the pain isn’t gone

anyway that’s all i have for now. i was so embarrassed writing that honestly, but your so nice and accepting to everyone that I thought it would be okay. my headcanons aren’t great, but please tell me your thoughts on them qwq

I really really love Corruption related whump for Chuuya it never fails to interest me....being sick as soon as it's switched off is so good because he has zero control over it, once he's conscious enough to understand what's happening it stresses him out even more...and the migraines !!! Chuuya is a perfect migraine candidate!!!!! I'm in love with your detail about them causing him to have trouble walking and seeing underrated symptom that's perfect for him 😭 especially since he usually carries himself very well it's super obvious to Dazai that he's struggling once his steps start to shift and he isn't picking up his feet right...catching him 😭😭😭 catching him whenever he passes out ughhhh my favorite....i just generally really love this idea of him often having zero control of when and where he throws up i know it super stresses him out ....💔💔💔💔💔💔

i could honestly make a case for any wxs member in any role but i think the best fits for their characters are emu as the little prince, rui as the narrator, nene as the fox and tsukasa as the rose. or perhaps it's my emu favoritism talking

i'm not even sure how to justify or explain myself for each decision. source: trust me bro. emu has held on to her whimsy but lives in loneliness and rui has had his creativity stomped down throughout his life and nene's timidness gives way to her earnest desire to connect with other people and tsukasa cried and threw up because he's not special. does anyone understand me

again i think there's argument to be had for other roles, i think they could all potentially fit as the narrator in some way or another. or like, tsukasa as the little prince or nene as the rose or emu or rui as the fox could all work too. come into my inbox and send anons saying im super wrong so i have an excuse to talk about it more please.

I still don’t think tsukasa is cool at school (and I never will.) but I do think it’s interesting that he’s actually friends with classmates who would be considered popular

(Source) He’s friendly with everyone & has zero issue with starting a conversation with strangers so it makes sense, even if I doubt that he hangs out with any of his classmates outside of school (too busy with the theatre grind). Rui also comments on how social he is in nene’s Peter Pan card story

In my head everyone is just like this is our friend Tenma he’s weird as fuck & attached at the hip to the guy who sets off explosions on school property. but he’s chill.

Of course! Sorry this took a while, it was a bit of a struggle to get this done, lol. But, I did it! Enjoy!

Shizuku Hinomori is the eldest daughter of the royal family. She is what most would consider the ideal royal heir- she's smart, kind, responsible, elegant, and she truly wants nothing more than to be the best possible queen to her kingdom someday. Not to mention she was beautiful, and her younger sister regularly had to fight persistent suitors off with a stick.

Recently, rumors have been spreading around her kingdom. Rumors of a powerful and dangerous sorcerer, who supposedly lived deep in the Forbidden Woods.

Shizuku didn't think much of those rumors, as she didn't view them as something worth her time or energy. No one could prove that a sorcerer did live in those woods, and even if they did, they clearly weren't bothering anybody, so there was no point in bothering them.

One day, however, she finds herself lost in those very woods, and while wandering around aimlessly, she's found by none other than that sorcerer. She's frightened at first, because despite her attempts to ignore those rumors, she still heard them, and they didn't exactly paint him in a very pretty light.

But, it's not long before Shizuku realizes that, despite his possession of seemingly wild magic, Rui isn't the frightening, dangerous sorcerer everybody believes him to be. He invites her back to his home, tending to any wounds she has and offering her food, water, and a chance to rest before leading her back out of the forest.

Shizuku is eternally grateful to Rui for his kindness, and she makes it her mission to learn more about him. To learn more about the magic he seems to respect so much, and to grow closer to the kind, lonely sorcerer.

... Even if she keeps getting lost in the forest in order to visit him.

Minori Hanasato is a princess, the only daughter and eldest child in her family. She's kind, sweet, and hardworking, and she's relatively well liked by her subjects, but she's not exactly the most... elegant or composed princess out there. Despite her shortcomings, she is determined to prove that she's worthy of ruling over her kingdom some day.

One day, as a present for her most recent birthday, Minori receives a music box. It's a cute little thing, that plays a sweet and gentle tune whenever someone turns it, and Minori adores it. She uses it constantly- whenever she's writing or doing important princess work, when she's falling asleep, or even when she's just stressed and needs to unwind.

She especially loves watching the mini figure of a girl that spins along with the music. She begins to imagine what kind of person the girl would be if she were alive, what her voice would sound like, and if she and Minori would get along. Eventually, the princess can't help but wish that the girl in her music box was a real person; someone she could actually talk with, someone who would talk back.

And when she awakens the next morning, there, in the middle of her bedroom, stands the beautiful, adorable, white haired girl from her beloved music box.

Perhaps Rui is a spirit tied to a passenger train (maybe he died in some kind of murder on the orient express type thing), and he's fated to eternally be a passenger on the train until he figures out how to move on. Shizuku then could be new to the town where the train's major stop is, and she works at the train station as a receptionist of some kind? Selling tickets? Len could either be one of her coworkers or the young boss of the train company who knows about Rui but keeps that secret.

One day Shizuku would set foot onto the train to check on something, or retrieve a lost item, and encounters the spectral passenger. Out of compassion for his situation, she decides to work with him to find a way to free his soul, even if eventually she finds she doesn't want to part with him.

how do the performances work in your disabled wxs au? like how does each character's disability affect the way they perform/the adaptations that help them put on shows (hopefully i phrased that well)

performances work much the same, but there are definitely adaptations that have to be made!

the wonderstage is fixed up largely by wxs themselves to be more smooth and even for emu's and nene's sakes. emu uses a wheelchair part time and can walk, but nene can't walk at all, so it's imperative the stage is wheelchair accessible.

rui will sing but prefers to sign when possible, so they work scripts so that they can do so and have someone interpret or just play nonspeaking characters.

emu in nonverbal and uses an AAC device, so she has to preprogram all her lines into the device before the show. also, she cannot begin her lines and move at the same time, since she uses either a wheelchair or a walker at all times, so that needs to be worked around.

tsukasa isn't diagnosed until later in the AU, but he does have chronic pain, so sometimes schedules need to be reworked if he has a pain flareup.

i also did some research into wheelchair dancing for this AU and i think it's neat and can totally imagine nene and emu doing it so you should look it up!! it's awesome.

HELLO!! It’s me Rui again bugging you in asks, but as I’ve slowly gotten less and less shy here because of how good you are to everyone, I just want to ask.

TW FOR OOC THAT FEEDS MY DELUSIONS 😭

I’ve seen your write fics where the agency takes care of Dazai when he’s sick. BUT.. what do you think about the idea of Dazai being really sick, but he’s like super good at hiding it despite the fact he has a migraine that causes almost dehabilitating vertigo and nausea to go with it, and so Ranpo calls Chuuya because Chuuya is the only one who can deal with a sick Dazai. Dazai is like super panicked though at the agency because he doesn’t want to appear weak to his co-workers, and he’s determined to maintain his agency persona. When Chuuya arrives in the middle of Dazai’s developing anxiety attack he’s beyond relieved. Afterwords, insert Dazai getting all the care he deserves from Chuuya while he is sick from nausea and illness. Chuuya is the only one he trusts to take care of him, and Chuuya does all he can to make Dazai less miserable. and Kunikida having a heart attack when he realises that his partner is with a mafia executive 😭😭

First of all I love Ranpo being the one to call him and not telling anyone lol...everyone is immediately in go mode when Chuuya shows up but of course he goes straight to Dazai and they slowly realize why he's suddenly appeared...Dazai getting carried to the couch or the infirmary, so miserable and dizzy and nauseous and Chuuya does what he can to comfort him and calm him down.... AHHG Kunikida being half worried out of his mind and half why the HELL is there a PM executive here

Honami Mochizuki is the owner of a small cafe and bookstore. She lives a quiet life in a simple town, with only her customers, her childhood friends, and stray cats for company, but she's content with her life.

Kanade Yoisaki is a famous professional sports player. It was rough for her when she started out- she wasn't very athletic in her youth, only starting out in her highschool years at the insistence of her grandmother- but once she got the hang of it, she was a force to be reckoned with on the field.

One day, Kanade wanders her way into Honami's cafe, hearing a good review from one of her friends, and is pleasantly surprised to find such a sweet and pretty lady behind the counter. Kanade makes an effort to visit that cafe whenever she can after that, even just to check out the books or say hi to Honami.

There's been a series of burglaries at various establishments around town, and Detective Kamishiro is the one assigned to find the culprit. This is the first time he's been put in charge of a case since he joined the detective agency, and he's determined to prove that he can handle the responsibility.

The latest of the thief's targets is a modest sweets shop. The only two employees aside from the manager, and the last people in the store the night of the break in, are Tsukasa Tenma and Emu Otori. The two tell Rui what they can about the incident, but there's only so much they know themselves, so they aren't of much help.

With boundless determination both to prove himself and to bring this thief to sweet surgery justice, Rui works day and night to solve this mystery. All the while, Tsukasa, even without any experience with this, does whatever he can to assist the detective.
