i feel deep in my soul clover is a messy sick person. they get these nasty wet sneezes and you can hear their cough from meters away, also they DO NOT sneeze/cough in their hand/elbow. chara is disgusted. i'm disgusted. everybody is disgusted.

it all comes down to my personal hc clover was in a orphanage and nobody?? rlly taught them to do that?? like yea they see other ppl do it but they don't understand why and when they got older everybody just thought they were gross and rude and didn't bother to correct them. chara is now used to this and carries around a tissue box just for them, at least.

besides that, clover doesn't rlly get sick that much often and barely gets any other symptoms, so they just go around their day until it wears off around two or three days later.

Okay but that's is such a cuteee scenario oh my gosh I can't help but to write a little mini-fic this (a little incoherent I just woke up snskkdkj)

—PROWL'S snuggled up to your side. Even when he's sleeping, a gentle scowl is present on his face. And, the arm curled around your torso is almost like a metal bar, preventing you escape. For now, he's too tired to keep up appearances. Last night's report consisted of him re-writing the expense protocols and it is not a task an hour would suffice.

He came back sluggish and very much irritated. In the darkness of the room, alighted by the mere blue-ish flare of the moonlight, Prowl stands before your bed as a looming shadow. You recalled wheezing when he simply collapsed on top of you, immediately going limp after.

So, when you shift in the bed — it was almost time for work — he was all but annoyed : his bundle of warmth isn't going anywhere when he's got so comfortably snug, so he pits you close to his chassis, grumbling.

"No."

"No? Prowl. I've got work."

"It can wait." He murmered lazily, nose chasing for the warmth between the crook of your neck and shoulder. And, when he did — a little purr-like rumble thrummed from his chassis.

You blink. He's slurring in his sleep? Guess, even the strategic officer isn't immune to sleepy mumbles. With a playful smile, you cup his face plates, leaning in to kiss his cheek, lingering a little bit on the sensitive spot on his neck then the crook of his nose.

Subconsciously, Prowl leans forward, likely expecting a kiss on his lips but with an index on his forehead, you push him away gently.The peach cream lipstick stains the areas you've assaulted. But, hey. At least he knows who's stalling who, this lovely morning.

WHILE he's fixing up the last of his documents, Prowl can feel the stares churning through his back. He's got it ever since he walked into that damn room. Obviously, nobody is going to agree with the new 'protocols' he administered. Especially, the younger mechs. But the meeting had just finished, so what's with the staring? Why are they staring?

"Uh, Prowl?"

"What?" He clips and slams the briefcase shut.

When he whirled around, a biting chassis fervent on his tongue, he's greeted with the sight of the bug, smiling in amusement. Great. The scout.

"I don't know what game you're playing at And, likely, i'd rather not know." Prowl seethes. "But I suggest you cut it out."

As usual, he's not the most brightest mech, this morning.

"Alright, then." He shrugs with his servos up placatingly. "But I gotta say, though. Peach does suit you well. Always thought it'd be rouge red or magenta pink. Guess, I was wrong."

"Excuse me?"

"Not that it's bad. It's not bad, trust me." The scout grins. " I just didn't peg you as the type to wear make-up...."

"Ah, yes. That." You scanned the clipboard, nitpicking the many stacks and stacks of paragraphs for a certain information. This, that, this and — "All stabilized, sir."

"Good work." He pats your shoulder. "Debrief in a few hours — I need the new recruits some time to understand the proceedings. Meanwhile, go have lunch. I won't keep you any longer."

"Understood."

With that your Supervisor had left. Dawdling a second longer flipping through the pages, you swivelled around. When you rounded the corner, still buried in your clipboard —

You feel cold metal curling round your wrists. And, you're suddenly pushed up against the wall.

"You." Prowl leans in, scowling.

You grin. "Oh? Good morning to you, too." .

"Clean it."

"Just a simple swipe of a napkin could do the job, prowl."

The grip on your wrist loosens and a servo clamps over your waist. His expressing, though, isn't unrelenting of a frown. "That's the thing, mouse — you inflicted this on me. So, you take care of it."

You raise a brow. "Sure, this isn't some kind of demand guised in the form of something else?"

Prowl doesn't say anything, expression all the more pinched and irritated — but the slight parting of his lips was telling.

You teetered on your tiptoes, hands on his shoulder plates and leaned up to kiss his cheek — the exact same spot you left a mark, this morning.

Prowl loosens visibly and turned away to hide the flare of warmth on his faceplates. Not without grumbling under his breath, of course.

If he wasn't so handsome when he's mad, you're not sure why you tolerate his crass attitude at all. If anything, he's like a cat that claws at you with every chance he gets — then begging for affection, later.

Steve Murphy: This one is easy, because we know exactly how Steve Murphy responds! He adopts that baby ASAP, and proceeds to be a dutiful (if maybe not exactly excited) dad!

Donald Pierce: He’d hold it awkwardly, possibly at an arms length from himself, squinting as it gurgled like it’s an engine making funky noises he’s trying to decipher. As soon as it started crying he’d hand it right over to Gabby. Pierce isn’t crazy about babies! He doesn’t find them interesting! They don’t have anything to say, and they don’t do anything fun! They just cry loudly, eat, and poop! (There is, however, a moment when he’s watching Gabby murmur lullabies and gently rock it to the sleep, that he just feels *so* inexplicably tender.)

Cap Hatfield: He finds babies ADORABLE, if faintly perplexing. He tries his best to make sure it’s comfortable, maybe whittles a little rattler for it, but ultimately he’s passing it off to the first relative he sees that knows more about childrearing than he does. But he’ll absolutely be popping in to help!

Clement Mansell: Ooh I feel like this is SO dependent on his mood at the time. 90% of the time Clement is immediately dropping that kid off at the nearest fire station, but if he’s in kind of a wistful, melancholy state, thinking about his dad or his legacy?? Yeah, he’s keeping that kid. I feel like having a kid *could* actually make Clement a better person too, if it makes him kind of reflect on what he wants for his kid (and the ways that’s different than what he got growing up), but he’s also 100% gonna use his adorable little baby to distract marks while he robs them blind.

The Corinthian: Aw man, the Corinthian is actually *great* with babies. (Baby Daniel!!) I don’t think he’d hang on to it if he didn’t have to though - unless for some reason he got insta-attached - but if it maybe reminded him of Orpheus (who I HC Corinthian sometimes babysat) or something, he’d be such a devoted dad! Based solely on the vibes I got from how he interacted with Jed, I can see the Corinthian having a bit of a double-life: sure, there’s moments where he acts *off*, or says something weird, but overall he’s giving his kid the standard all-American life, complete with a trampoline in the backyard and a golden retriever. He makes his kid and his kid’s friends sandwiches when they hang out at the house after school. Maybe he seduces their hot dads. Maybe he does some serial killing on the side! But he’ll also be there at every soccer game and ballet rehearsal.

Eli Klaber: Klaber finds kids adorable, but doesn’t really know what to do with them. He’d try his best though! He’d read parenting books and attend classes (probably surrounded by brand-new mothers slightly perplexed by his presence). I feel like he’d be the dad that tries to bring his kid *everywhere* (including to work!) and the first day of daycare he absolutely cries a little.

Ty Shaw: Ty immediately integrates the baby into the family! This is a Shaw baby now! He’s good with kids; after basically being a dad for three kids already, he’s old hat at this! He finds it so cute too, and he’s definitely the obnoxious parent that takes a million pictures of their kid and then insists on showing them *all* to everyone he meets.

Quinn McKenna: The thing is, Quinn actually *is* good with kids, and he does like them, but he’s not good at being around them for too long. He can’t really do fatherhood for very long without getting a little distant and needing space. I think if he *has* to take care of this kid, he’ll do it and he’ll do a thorough and competent job, but he’s gonna be burnt out quick, and maybe not always the most emotionally available parent. It’s better for him (and the kid, frankly) if he can find someone else to be the full-time parent, and he can act as an uncle figure.

I think you nailed my thoughts exactly, anon. fang would definitely be hesitant at first, never having had that secure upbringing—his parents prioritizing their work in the false assumption that it'll be better for their kids down the road, growing up so young so quickly because it was up to him to take care of phum from a vast ocean away—and witnessing/experiencing first-hand the way neglect shatters a family. does he even have an example of what a happy childhood should look like? can he provide something he has never known to his children?

extrapolating from his insecurities depicted in the series, fang would wonder if he'd be enough. he knows he's not as openly affectionate as tan and he may overthink about how his every minute action impacts their kids and the way they perceive him compared to tan. I can imagine that he's terrified of turning out just like his father, as it's clear he's the closest of his brothers to the man, clinging desperately onto whatever tattered mess is left of their relationship (although maybe ep 16 will give us something different).

and of course tan will soothe these fears (phum too, because fang practically raised him and he knows the enormous capacity of fang's love). tan and his I see all of you and I love all of you and his constant words of affirmation and endless acts of service are already inspirations to fang, and they will continue to be as they navigate parenthood together. fang would never want his children to go through what he and his brothers had, and does his best to keep that promise. he still stumbles from time to time, especially at certain milestones where the three of them were never provided the appropriate parental support, but tan reminds him that he's allowed to make mistakes (we all do, after all; tan would as well, being a parent is hard), that he's not only his father's son, that he has come so far and there's always room to grow.

agreed, tan would be the most obnoxious [affectionate] parent in the world, loud and proud of fang and their children. I don't have definitive ideas on the number nor the genders—2 at most though, I don't think fang would be comfortable with more—but little boy or little girl or both tan would certainly match their energy and be helpless to their every whim. their child would have tan wrapped around their little finger, utterly in love and unable to tell them no. fang is still the voice of reason and would have to be the one to do any scolding, but yeah he would join in on their shenanigans more often than not (or, y'know, that fond eyeroll of exasperation, watching the loves of his life from the sidelines). again, not as openly affectionate as tan, especially in public spaces, but I like to imagine fang having a little bedtime ritual with their child—reading a story, perhaps, or counting the stars, or gossiping about schoolmates, or or or—sweet and tender and just the two of them. quieter in his love, yes, but every person under the sun knows that fang would level cities for their children.

while i like the idea of the FSM being created by the balance, i think that the concept of him being created by an oni and a dragon who genuinely loved each other fits so much better and hits harder.

his mother was an oni, a high ranking warrior in one of the many tribes, and his father was a lóng dragon (otherwise known as a east asian dragon) who had lost his tribe to the war between oni and dragon. they met during a scouting mission, and the oni was impressed by the dragons fighting skill, and the dragon was impressed by the oni's smarts, and they fell in love. the FSM's mother left the oni for her love, and the dragon found a new family with the oni and their hybrid son. along with this, i personally believe that the oni would've been called Katsuko (meaning victorious child), and the dragon would've been called Chaoxiang (meaning expecting fortune)

i switch a lot to be honest!! sometimes i go on Paint Tool SAI, Clip Studio Paint, iBisPaint... even MS Paint lol. Medibang i have had a few experiences but nowadays i gave up bc it always wants to update and i just ehhh... basically i dont like to stay with one software only, i try to change every one n then but mainly for serious drawings i'd go with Paint Tool SAI or/and Clip Studio Paint ! also thank you anon uaaaaa i admit i didnt expect people to like my dudecest art, i expected them to throw tomatoes at me or smth bc of the canon lore but i do not think they are related bc the timeline is rly confusing. i'll just leave at that. if ppl wanna believe they are related then its okay, i don't mind that. im just enjoying myself here in this corner lol...

What fic idea have you had but you would never write?

A lot of ABYS spin-offs, for one! I am not done the original, I have 3 (three) spin-offs I'm gonna poke at. No more than that!! I can't get too caught in the weeds!

Other than that... hmmm... I know I've had some very self indulgent, angsty ideas. But several seemed like a little too much projection lol and were scrapped. Some I worked into other things!

I also have... well, there's some AUs and concepts I've seen that I don't really jive with, and don't seem... in character, in my opinion? So sometimes my brain goes "you could write that better/fix it/make it more realistic even if that means it's bleak." But I can't do that! People are out here having fun, I'm not going to be the AU or ideas police. That's just being a dick.

But sometimes if I see something I really am not a fan of, I DO get ideas and have to bring out the looney toons hammer to get them to stop XD

I get what you mean when you describe it in the tags as I have the same issue with Poison Types. (verrry unpopular opinion to have I know)

kinda fitting as Poison Types are the natual enemy of Fairy Types (as long as you're not part of the Tinkaton Evo line)

I'm still struggling with Poison Types but actually using them more and interact with them definitely helps a lot! Who knows maybe one day we're managing to feel neutral of these types and the designs.

Yeah!! I’m really only a fan of the Snubbull line, Alcremie, and Togekiss (big points to Volo for this one lol), it’s unfortunate that I just happen not to be a fan of all the others ^^;

And honestly, same with you on poison types!! Not the biggest fan of poison-types either, but Hisui gave me four that I really like a lot lol.

Ohoho music is actually kinda relevant to this au. I've made all the turtles/april musically talented so you can bet they'd enjoy listening to music! Funnily enough I haven't quite thought of what they'd listen to outside of Donnie until now, but here we go!

Raph has two modes. Hard rock and Japanese city pop and he prefers one over the other depending on what he's currently doing

Leo loves rock/pop and specifically from the early 2000s. Think cascada, lady Gaga, Britney Spears etc. He can and will sing the entirety of Bad romance

Donnie likes all the 80s hits. But he also loves anything with a strong beat like techno, eurobeat, disco. He and Mikey have "their song" and it's deja vu by initial d

Mikey won't say he has a favorite genre but his most listened to songs are EDM and hip hop. He likes listening to lofi when he draws.

April goes through genre phases so it's hard to pinpoint her fav. She shared a similar taste in music with Leo when she first met the turtles. Right now she's going through an indie rock phase

AAAAAND to answer the lore question. Yes I have lore for pretty much every side character now minus the crabs. I try to stay as close to canon as possible but make it pokemon. So draxum still creates the turtles but as "the ultimate Pokemon" through morally questionable means in order to get rid of the human threat that will "destroy [redacted] kind". He kinda goes full Dr. Fuji/Mewtwo. He's responsible for mutating a lot of characters into pokemon mutants. Draxum himself is not a mutant. He is a pokemon...sorta. I'll get into that in a different post cuz this is getting long but I go full headcanon/pokemon fan game mode with this one. Uhhh but his goyles, huginn and muninn are actual pokemon (that can speak) and they're both sableye!

Repo Mantis is pretty close to canon. He has a Meowth and gets mutated into either a Scyther or Scizor mutant. I haven't settled on which one but I've designed both options.

And mayhem. I am gonna do my best to give justice to mayhem. Yes, Mayhem will be April's partner pokemon! But mayhem considers April "his pet human". He can't speak but he has human intelligence. I'm gonna hold back on his pokemon species for now since I'm still trying to decide some things with him, but just know this pokemon is incredibly smart. Like rottmnt, he works as an agent for tmnp's version of the hidden city.

The oppressive Australian heat clung to Snarl like a blanket, its all encompassing stagnant heat somehow both arid and suffocating, making his skin slick with sweat and sleep impossible to come by. His situation wasn't helped by the large-bodied warlord snuggling against his back, holding the smaller man flush against his chest in a tight embrace. Snarl let out an annoyed groan and desperately tried to wriggle out of Immortan Joe's grasp, who responded with a grumpy grumble and tightening of his arms.

"Joe! Lemme go dammit, it's too hot for this shit!" The War Boy hissed, not yet abandoning his futile struggle. Joe let out another irritable rumble reminiscent of a cranky cat, still half-asleep and determined to remain that way. Snarl finally abandoned his efforts, letting out a heavy sigh and relaxing back into his lover's arms. It was astonishing to Snarl how Immortan Joe could be so prideful, could put on a (at least somewhat convincing) show of caring nothing for his "Champion" in the presence of others during the daylight hours, but when night fell he shapeshifted into the clingiest person alive. Like a giant teddy bear, really. Snarl thought with some amusement.

Joe had admittedly been slow to invite Snarl into his bed - a very large part of him wanted to believe that he cared for Snarl only as far as the sex he provided and the way he bolstered his myth, and sometimes that's still what he tells himself when that nauseating wave of self-hatred and anxiety washes over him. Still, it was undeniable that the fiery War Boy had cemented a place in his arrogant, black heart and Joe found that he could no longer sleep comfortably at night without his presence.

The Immortan did not receive physical affection nor true companionship from any of his wives; Though they'd tolerate his presence and his sexual advances, the underlying disdain, revulsion, or outright hatred they felt for him bled through in their every interaction. Snarl, on the other hand, welcomed his attentions and reciprocated them in kind; The man Immortan Joe had stolen from his home braided his hair with gentle hands and laid with him at night, even on nights like this when the sweltering heat made it so he'd really rather not. It had taken Snarl coming into his life for the old warlord to realize just how starved for affection he had truly been, so he cherished these precious few hours when no one was around to witness his weakness.

Sensing Snarl's submission, Joe relaxed his grip around his prize and let out a content sigh as he nuzzled his face into the crook of his neck. Snarl sighed softly again, his hands moving up to trace slow circles across the tyrant's sun-bleached arms. If sleep didn't come to him tonight, he could always nap in the cool underground tunnels of the Citadel when the morning came and its' immortal leader busied himself with Wasteland politics.
