Reaper's Wardrobe Collection- Information Packet 📝

I didn't want to bloat the original post up with all of this(it's a lot) and it took way longer than I expected! Sorry I've been so strapped for time recently, balancing life (and ironically—death, unfortunately) but I've finally found some time to include some additional information about the newly released (December- Friday the 13th!!) Reaper's Wardrobe Collection, which by the way, you've all been SO sweet and kind and receptive to, thank you eternally 🥺💗 Below is some additional information if you're interested, just because one, I'm a certified yapper, but also I like to include that with my cc when I can <3 Please, if you use these items for your sims, TAG ME!! I would seriously be so happy to see how you use them 😍

Lamplight Dress (+Glowy Version) and Final Layer Accessory Lingerie

A sensual little number that will draw them in like a moth to the lamplight. This versatile dress comes in a variety of swatches, including even sheerer options for when you really want to turn up the warmth. You can pair it with the Final Layer Lingerie—a maxis match accessory lingerie set found in the glove category—or any other accessory underwear to layer and customize your look.

And for those special sims who are the light of your life, or maybe just get lost often, try the bonus glowy version that actually glows up!

Both dresses are standalone, so neither rely on the other to work. You can freely have both in your game at the same time or just one, whichever you prefer.

Deathflower Pendant

Yes, it's the one and only deathflower, now wearable! Meshing this as a beginner almost sent me over to the other side, but I'm happy to say that with the help and support of my lovely husband, I got through it. Which I'm grateful for, because I needed this in my game. Available for ages kids and up, and comes in 9 swatches.

Death Grip Ear Cuff/Eternal Whispers Earrings

Embrace the whispers of the beyond with the Death Grip Ear Cuff and Eternal Whispers Earrings. This one can be a little finicky. So because of how the UV_1 maps work, there doesn't seem to be a reasonable way to make the ear cuff move along with the ear slider, at least that I'm aware of. So the best we can do is to remove the ear cuff entirely or shape your sims ear to work with the cuff. I know, not ideal, sorry :( It was created with ear preset 1 in mind, but you might be able to mold your own ears with some sliding around.

The set is designed to be worn either together, or separated. The cuff (a metal skeleton hand) can technically be worn with other earrings, but due to texture constraints, most textures conflict. Although not all results look bad so definitely feel free to play around and make some happy mistakes!

Whimsical Wings Knit Sweater

A little flutter of quaint, a little flutter of spooky— What started out as an attempt to convert the Life and Death one for toddlers into a kids version, but ended up basically recreating it. However, there are a few more cute swatches special for kids that fit the theme. 16 swatches in total.

First Grimpressions Zip Up Onesie

For the little reapers in training— This cozy zip up onesie is perfect for jammies, costumes, or playtime, and is available for both toddlers and children. Although children get a few extra bonus dingy social bunny swatches reminiscent of the social bunny from ts2. The rest are reaper and "freezer-boney" themed.

Grimborn Onesie

My pride and joy :’) this is one of the first ones I started working on, a little hooded onesie subtly shaped like death himself. Many of the swatches feature an embroidered crow with the daintiest little heart, but throughout the rest of the 8 swatches you'll also find little wings, a skull, and and a freezer-boney.

Reaper Sleepers

How could your days ever be grim when you have these adorable little reapers bouncing around with you each step you take? These were what started this whole project, honestly. I was making a few things for Norvis, and obviously he needed a pair of house slippers, being a middle-aged son of the Grim Reaper, obviously. That's when I decided it might be fun to not only share them, but make this into a whole collection— then it snowballed from there. They're not the most perfectly meshed items, but I think that gives them some character ^̮^

Robes Of Respite

Just the Life and Death Employee Reaper Robes, but with no hood, because sometimes we all need a breather. I did tighten the rope around the waist a bit so your sims can show off that figure when they're reaping someone's soul and dragging them away to the unknown. I also enhanced the textures a bit and added a bonus dark swatch. One for Male frames and one Female.

Prep Me Pumps

Just a cute pair of soft goth pumps to make a statement, complete with the most darling little bow placed right under your achilles heel so you can prepped for anything, anytime. 13 swatches in total.

Spirit Sprinter Athleisure Set

Even though all 4 of these cozy swatches are adorned with a zip up ribbon corset, there's no need to sacrifice your comfort to look snatched. Whether you're bumming out at home handing candy out to trick-or treaters, or training hard to be the best reaper the company has ever seen, this outfit has you covered.

Reaper Scythe Accessory

This is just the regular Reaper's Scythe from the game, made into an accessory by leo_morg on MTS. Link here They don't seem to be active anymore or have a TOU. It is just an EA item from the game but I wanted to properly cover my bases when it comes to crediting, since they were the ones who did most of the work. I just made some edits to the mesh and textures. At first I was just using it for screenshots and previews but since its a fine piece of cc I figured someone might find it useful so why let it go to waste?

Eclipse Cloak-Illuminated, Eclipse Cloak-Veiled, and Halfway Hair

For the adventurous souls daring enough to tread that liminal bridge between the afterlife and the mortal world, shroud yourself in mystery with these deluxe reapers cloaks- This is the first hair I've ever created with the sole purpose of making it specifically for a hat, although I'm happy with how it looks with no hood too! As for the cloaks, I just wanted some separated dramatic cloaks/hoods for storytelling, both a version that is up, and down. Goes in the hat category. They're a lot of material in a small space so the textures aren't the the most beautiful up close—but at the very least they're not going to conflict with pretty much any clothing (unless that clothing item doesn't obey the allotted space, of course) The veiled version is kinda neat because it functions/chops as a hat, so it works with a select handful of hairs. The hair has your standard 24 EA swatches, and the cloaks have 8 matching swatches.

Morgue Moth Vintage Romper

If you're one of my readers, you may have noticed that I occasionally like to use moth motifs from time to time. They go hand in hand with the death theme and they're also just really pretty ♥‿♥ You'll see them a lot throughout this project, and this item is no exception. I especially love this romper because it's super versatile— all 11 moth adorned swatches make for an easy go-to outfit for those hot days, but also work as adorable pajamas or vintage swimwear, and have that whimsical-macabre twist that is so mothsneakers ✨

Plaid To The Bone Shirt

11 swatches featuring a grungy patchwork of button down flannels stitched together, layered with a haphazardly placed tee with grim but colorful graphics for that effortlessly unkempt look. Wanted to make sure we got something for the men too, but of course our girls can throw it on as well, if they want!

Cadaver-demia Coat Set

Fight the biting chill of the morgue freezers, or stay warm on your haunting moonlit walks in the cemetery, and look hot doing it! Lately this has been my irl go to look when I want to look put-together but don't want to think too much about what to wear. simply mini-skirt+shirt+coat, pair it with your favorite tights and boots and you're good to go 😊 Keeping that same kind of idea with this piece, I really love full-body outfits so I don't have to think too much about putting an outfit together, I always feel like the cc-world needs more full-body outfits (that aren't just dresses, but complete looks you feel me?) I digress, this set has 8 swatches.

Give off Thanatologist's day off vibes in this studious casual full-body set. 18 swatches; featuring a fitted turtleneck sweater, (some with grim graphics, some plain) layered under a cropped plaid button down top, and paired with a high-waisted corduroy mini skirt.

The file includes both the CC and Tray files. Make sure to put the Tray files into your Sims 4 Tray folder (Documents-Electronic Arts-The Sims 4-Tray) and the CC files into your Mods folder (Documents-Electronic Arts-The Sims 4- Mods)

Where to find the sims:

Once you have downloaded everything, open your Sims 4 game and then open the gallery

In the left-hand corner scroll down and click "Include Custom Content". If you downloaded everything correctly the sims should show up in your gallery.

@usermitsuri hi! i advise using the latest blender version, but its okay if ur already using older. I used 2.79 for many years and recently changed to newest version and i prefer it nowadays. anyway, there's ton of tutorials on youtube that's how i learned, just choose something you'd like to make and start. I began doing very simple forms like a teacup, so i'd advise doing something similar. you can do basically anything just searching blender + whatever object you wanna make + tutorial on google/youtube. hope that helps lmk if you have more questions

6 published currently, but I've got a LOT of WIPs, and some fics on FF.Net that everyone has probably forgotten about lol

2. What's your AO3 word count?

173,259. Hmm. Not bad.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

According to AO3 Tokyo Ghoul and Overwatch. But honestly I've only been writing Star Wars lately, I just haven't posted anything.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

I try to, but I often get overwhelmed and am not sure what to say so I don't always. I haven't responded to any lately since I posted so long ago lol.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Disrepair, hands down. It even has multiple endings, each one with their own flavor of angst. It took a lot of inspiration from Silent Hill 2 so what do you expect?

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Hmm, maybe Firework Love (Overwatch). It's my least popular fic, so maybe I'm not cut out for fluff lol. I also wrote a few Rurouni Kenshin fics back in ye olde FF.Net days that had happy endings, but that's a LONG time ago.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Sometimes I get people getting nitpicky on grammar/spelling or word choices. And once upon a time (again in ye olde FF.Net days) I got complaints for dragging a fic on too long. It killed my motivation for the fic 😔

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Yes I have on occasion. The only one published on AO3 is They Watch From Above, which is full of Eldritch horror monster fucking 😏 It was ridiculously indulgent.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I don't have any crossovers published, but I do have ideas/WIP rattling around. I think the craziest one is my Card Captor Sakura x Star Wars idea where I turn Obi-Wan into a magical girl, Cody into a magical girl mascot that has a secret badass hottie form with wings, and together they try to stop Cody's bros from causing chaos. Alternatively there's another CCSxSW fic idea where Ahsoka and/or Anakin is the magical girl, Rex is a goddamn talking plushie, Obi-Wan is the older brother that Ahsoka/Anakin are trying to hide magic from and utterly failing at doing so, and Cody is Obi-Wan's best friend (who everyone knows is going to upgrade into boyfriend as soon as they admit their damn feelings). Also Cody's actually the cold hearted final boss but doesn't know because of ✨magical amnesia✨ (If anyone wants to hear more, hit me up, I kinda love this crack.)

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes. I had a RK fic translated into Italian in ye olde days, and Cut Him Out In Little Stars was translated into Russian.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No.

14. What's your all time favorite ship?

Hmm, that's a hard one. Codywan is certainly my favorite right now, but I'm not sure which is my favorite of all time. I suppose it might be Touya/Yukito from CCS simply because they were one of my first favorites and I still have a great fondness for them today. Also they canonically are together in every universe 😍

15. What's a WIP you'd like to finish but you doubt you ever will?

A Pound of Flesh. I'm trying to at least write out a summary of how I'd finish it, but I doubt I'll fully write it.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Combat. I've also been complemented on my characterization and my ability to balance humor and tragedy.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Finishing a long fic lol. There's a reason why I'm refusing to publish my first Codywan fic until I finish it. I don't want to disappoint anyone.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

It's fine. I think it's especially flavorful for worlds using conlangs.

Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I use both, but in CASt I add more realistic textures for MM items if it's possible, detailed textures is really important for me. For hair I prefer now more realistic textures like @ifcasims or Plumblobs. Also I replace speculars to black in almost every item because I hate that shine.

Do you cheat your sims weight? No, I don`t care about this.

Do you move objects? I don`t build most of the time, but I use MOO for moving sims for photoshoots.

First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack? I've always had an 🏴‍☠️ game with all packs 😋

Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing? I don`t speak about sims in English, but I read this in my head as aLIVE.

Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? Christhie (and her gf Ingrid ofc but I don`t have good new portrait of her):

Even if I actively use them as models for my CC, I still haven't created any special backstory for them. Only that they are girls that into nu and black metal but they are still love each other. That`s it. But they are my favorites anyway.

Which is your favorite EA hair color? Huh? I think that question is here because it was a tag game for ts4 players?... I know that in ts3 exists hair color presets, but I don`t use standard ones.

Do you have any sims merch? No, I haven't.

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing? To be honest, it changes every day. But for example before I started this acc I preferred more maxis-match-ish style with simple matte hair textures and genetics and other stuff, because it was looking good in other people's screenshots. But after I understand that this style doesn`t suit my current aesthetic and now I use more realistic style. Also earlier I used less sliders and my sims faces was less diverse and also really really skinny no matter what their body type is. But my sims proportions have always tended to be realistic, I only liked the cartoon/anime-like style sims when I was much younger (like 10-13 smth).

Who’s your favorite CC creator? This list will be huuugee, but I love creators that made high-quality CC and can fit my aesthetic. How do you edit your pictures? I use Reshade with different presets (mostly by @erasabledinosaur or @intramoon), Photoshop CC 2017 (also installed Topaz Clean today) with these actions by @intramoon: SONDER, COLDWATER, BEAUTY QUEEN, LEAVING SALVATION. Also mess around in photoshop and/or use AI upscaler to make pics in better quality (I can turn on 4k HQ, but I always forgot about that). Sometimes I try something different but this is the base.

What expansion/gamepack is your favorite? World adventures, Late night, Supernatural and Generations.

not really, but I also don't make them overeat so they don't gain much weight

I have a lot on my mind, but I'll mention this one game changing mod I couldn't play without (well besides the NRaas ones that are the staple TS3 mods everyone should have), which is the Set the table/call to meal mod by icarus_allsorts.

*breathes nervously* 😨😩 I've been avoiding this question because I have many to mention, and if I do I might leave someone out. and personally I don't like the feeling of being left out so I don't want to make someone feel like that as well. so sorry if I have to skip this question..😔

How long have you had Simblr?

I had this account for like 8 years but only became an active simblr on 2020 starting with sharing lots for download until today, where I'm also posting 2to3/4to3 conversions and EA object edits along with some random screenshots from my game..

How do you edit your pictures?

most of the time I post my pictures unedited, except for adding some text using Photoshop. I only did edit a picture once using some filters from Win10's picture editor and that's about it.

What expansion/gamepack is your favorite?

TS2's Bon Voyage wins for me. I like the travelling aspect of it, and beach lots of course! I still remember how excited I was when watching my sims actually swim on the beach. Up to now I still wish World Adventures was as exciting as that..

Betrayed: holy shit where do I start, this story is an intense one that I love so much, it's a comic collab with @luigigirl12 and we've been working on it for a while. I am still working on it now having at least 45+ panels done for this comic!

Mr!UnderfellAU: this au has some deep lore it's been a while since I've posted about it but my whole account is literally based off of this au but mostly the sans in this au, this au has so much lore done all I need is to make some character designs and yea! But other then that this au can get pretty dark once you learn more about it!

Smg4: ✩Death wish au✩: is an au I am not even close to finishing and have never really mentioned but it's an au about a evil god that has been sealed in a box for over millions and millions of years, his name is Gumi and I know it's a silly name and all but he is horrible, he has one eye and I haven't really been able to come up with many design ideas yet other then like a weird deformed looking thing with one eye, this au is also pretty depressing for Mario because he's been given a curse that it's like everybody has a certain time above there head and if the timer ends above there head Mario has to kill them even if he doesn't want to gumis spirit makes him do it anyway, why? Because he feels like it. Worse of all the people with the least time are closest to Mario(smg4, luigi, meggy)

Tableware highrise: an old classic that's been hanging on my account for a while now, in this pizza tower au it's focused on Tableware and stuff, peppino owns a tableware store when suddenly a nasty germ highrise comes by to try and defeat peppinos business by spreading dirt and germs onto plates and etc, peppino doesn't let this slide and uses his water pump as a weapon to clean off enemies and make them nice again. I've finished all the designs for bosses in this au but didn't make the stages or floors. Fun fact peppinos pump is literally based off of super Mario Sunshine Mario's pump

The✩CircusCasino✩: an au where peppino or in other words CC runs a huge circus and casino all at once and is constantly almost being assasinated or people trying to defame him, this didn't bother him until one day coinhead came by and made a huge casino, circus, plus waterpark and now peppino needs to find a way to not lose all his money (I haven't came up with designs for here at all sadly but I do have CC peppinos design done)

Punk✩Burger au: this au is actually pretty simple, it's about a dude named PB Pino that works at a joint called the PunkBurger, here all the bosses are friends and all work together as employees to run this joint it's pretty chill and nothing really happens but if the employees aren't there for the day burgerhead and coffeeface bring random people from random universes to work there, this au is like those random pit stops you would see while traveling to different universes lol
