The restaurant was buzzing with the usual Saturday night energy. Emily's teammates had all gathered for a post-game dinner, filling the large table with laughter and conversation. You and Emily had only been married for a year, but to anyone watching, it seemed like you’d been together for decades.

You were perched on your chair, feet dangling a few inches off the floor due to your shorter height, while Emily sat beside you, her long legs stretched comfortably under the table. You reached for the menu, but Emily was already handing it to you, knowing that you liked to check the specials first.

"Here, love," she said with a gentle smile, placing the menu in your hands.

"Thanks, sweetheart," you replied, your tone soft and affectionate.

Emily’s teammates, sitting across from you, exchanged amused glances. They were used to the way you two interacted, like a couple that had long since settled into each other's rhythms. But they still found it endearing.

As you skimmed the menu, Emily leaned closer to peek over your shoulder. "I think you'd like the grilled salmon. It’s not too heavy, and you always love the way they season it here."

You nodded, trusting her judgement. "Yeah, that sounds perfect. And you’re getting the steak, right? You always do."

Emily chuckled, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. "You know me too well."

One of her teammates, Tori, smirked and leaned forward. "You guys really are like an old married couple. I mean, you've only been hitched for a year, but you act like it's been twenty."

You grinned, leaning into Emily’s side. "What can I say? We just fit."

Emily squeezed your shoulder, her voice teasing as she said, "Besides, it's not like I could let you go around ordering something you won’t like. You’d just end up stealing all of my fries."

You shot her a playful glare. "As if you don't love sharing them with me."

The table erupted in laughter, the banter flowing easily. Emily’s teammates teased you both relentlessly, but it was all in good fun. They admired the way you two interacted, the comfort and love that was so evident between you.

When the waiter came to take your orders, Emily didn’t hesitate to order for both of you, knowing exactly how you liked your food prepared. You didn’t even have to say a word, just nodding in agreement as she spoke.

After the waiter left, Emily turned back to you, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. "You okay? Not too tired, I hope."

You shook your head, smiling up at her. "Nope, I’m good. As long as I’m with you, I’m happy."

She kissed the top of your head, a simple gesture that made your heart swell. "Good. I want you to enjoy tonight."

As the evening went on, you and Emily continued to exchange little moments of affection—sharing bites of food, holding hands under the table, and occasionally leaning in to whisper something that would make the other laugh. Her teammates kept watching you both, some making playful comments, others just smiling at the way you two seemed so perfectly in sync.

At one point, you noticed one of her teammates struggling to decide what to order. Without missing a beat, you nudged Emily with your elbow, a knowing look on your face. Emily grinned, immediately catching on to your silent request.

"Hey, Aaliyah," Emily called out, "Y/N thinks you should try the chicken Alfredo. It’s her go-to when she’s feeling indecisive."

Aaliyah looked at you both with a raised eyebrow but smiled nonetheless. "You two really are in sync, huh?"

You shrugged, leaning against Emily as she draped an arm around your shoulders. "We just know each other well, I guess."

The food arrived, and as expected, Emily immediately offered you a bite of her steak, holding the fork out for you. You didn’t hesitate to lean forward and take the bite, savoring the flavor.

"Mmm, perfect as always," you said, licking your lips.

Emily chuckled, cutting another piece for herself. "You’re just saying that because it’s mine."

The playful banter continued throughout the meal, with Emily’s teammates throwing in their own comments and jokes about how you two were the epitome of relationship goals. It didn’t bother either of you; in fact, it only made you both feel more secure in what you had.

When the bill came, you reached for it out of habit, but Emily was quicker, already pulling out her wallet. "I've got it," she said firmly.

You pouted, crossing your arms. "I wanted to treat you this time."

Emily chuckled, handing the waiter her card. "Next time, darling. Tonight’s on me."

Her teammates watched this exchange with raised eyebrows, Tori speaking up again. "Seriously, you two are goals. I can’t even get my partner to text me back, and here you are fighting over who gets to pay."

You shrugged, leaning your head on Emily’s shoulder. "When you’ve found the right person, it just happens naturally."

Emily kissed your forehead, her eyes filled with warmth. "That’s right."

As the group started to gather their things to leave, Emily stood up and offered you her hand, helping you down from your chair. You smiled up at her, your height difference even more noticeable now that you were standing.

"You know, I could get used to this," you said, looping your arm through hers as you walked out of the restaurant.

Emily grinned, her voice playful. "You already have, my little love."

Her teammates walked behind you, still chuckling at the sight of you two. But all you could focus on was the warmth of Emily’s arm around you, the comfort of knowing that no matter how many years passed, you’d always have each other. Just like an old married couple—only better because this was just the beginning of your forever.

The drive home was quiet but comfortable, the city lights casting a warm glow inside the car. Emily’s hand rested on your thigh, her thumb absentmindedly rubbing small circles as she drove. You leaned your head against the window, a contented smile playing on your lips as you thought about the night.

"You know," you started, breaking the silence, "I really love nights like this."

Emily glanced over at you, her expression softening. "Me too. It’s nice to just relax and be with you without any distractions."

You nodded, feeling a surge of affection for her. "And your teammates are great. I love how they tease us, but you can tell they’re happy for us."

Emily smiled, her hand giving your thigh a gentle squeeze. "They are. They’ve seen how much happier I’ve been since we got together. You’ve been good for me, you know?"

You chuckled, reaching over to intertwine your fingers with hers. "You’re not so bad yourself, Engstler."

Emily’s laugh was warm and genuine, filling the car with a sense of peace. "Well, I’m glad you think so."

When you finally arrived home, you both moved through the familiar routine of kicking off your shoes, hanging up your coats, and heading into the living room. It was second nature at this point, the way you moved around each other with such ease, as if you’d been living together for years.

You collapsed onto the couch with a sigh, watching as Emily grabbed a couple of glasses and poured some water. She handed you one before sitting beside you, her arm naturally wrapping around your shoulders as you snuggled into her side.

"I’m really glad we did this tonight," you said, taking a sip of your water.

"Me too," Emily agreed, pressing a kiss to your temple. "I love spending time with you, even if it’s just something simple like going out to dinner."

You smiled, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. "We should do it more often. It’s nice to just be out with you, you know?"

Emily nodded, her fingers gently tracing patterns on your arm. "Absolutely. But honestly, even just sitting here with you like this is perfect to me."

You tilted your head up to look at her, your heart swelling with affection. "You’re such a sap, you know that?"

Emily laughed, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Only for you, my love."

You couldn’t help but smile, leaning up to press a soft kiss to her lips. "Good, because I plan on keeping you around for a long time."

Emily returned the kiss, her voice filled with warmth and sincerity as she replied, "You’re stuck with me, little one. For now and forever."

As you settled back into her embrace, you realised that it didn’t matter how many years you’d been together or how many more were to come. What mattered was that you had each other, and that was more than enough.

In the quiet of your home, wrapped up in Emily’s arms, you knew that this was the kind of love that people searched for their entire lives. And you had found it, right here, in the person who made you feel like the luckiest person in the world.

Daytrip Illumi my beloved... and poor Darling. You capture how unnerving and unsettling he should be so well!

Illumi should be Strange and Uncanny even at his mildest(? not sure if an Illumi in love could be 'mild', but idk if it could be called volatile either. Darling was right, you can't ever tell with him); man was cosplaying Pinhead for a week. He could talk the whole time but just literally rattled at people. And poor Ghost, my stomach just dropped because everything so far was downright too tame and too thoughtful for a Yandere.

Aside from the porn, I was waiting for that drop. Darling really can't have nice things, can't she? Or rather, she can't have anything he's not able to take. Whether a Darling is defiant (Obedience Training, Ingress) or submissive (Daytrip) he's always going to pile on the trauma.

But the moment he started mouthing and groping at her in the car, I knew he was out of patience. Everything else that day was window dressing and foreplay, and the bit where she picks a cute, frilly, puff-sleeved dress really sold the toy and doll comparison later, she was so right at the observation that Illumi took her as a ballerina for his music box. In the end, the daytrip really wasn't for her to enjoy: he ripped up her dream dress, dashed her hope that her cat was doing well without her, and didn't get to eat anything at the picnic aside from the morsel he gave her. Girl couldn't even enjoy the scenery cause he blocked it off with himself. The end was so despondent in comparison to the beginning where she resolves to take any out that presents itself, falling asleep and giving into the dark (Illumi) swallowing her.

And meanwhile, Illumi's just had an epiphany on why his parents kept having kids even after the designated heir Killua. And also patting himself on the back cause he checked off all the boxes on his 'perfect romantic date to-do list', and gotten the *ideal* ending of having finally lost his v-card. 10/10, Great Day. Would do again sometime (but not too soon).

The juxtapostion between her opinion of how the daytrip went and his opinion of how it went must be... something. I almost don't want to know, and I don't know how to properly describe what this made me feel, but it's visceral.

illumi just makes me,,, yeah. i feel like there's so little you can do to actually fight against him (running's not an option when he has you under surveillance 24/7, fighting a seasoned hitman won't end well, etc.), but good behavior only makes him more likely to proceed with the awful things he would've done anyway, had you spent every minute from your inevitably kidnapping kicking, screaming, and cursing his name. he's got a running checklist of uncomfortable positions he'd like to see you in, and it's less a question of when you'll be ready for it and more what he'll have to do to make you compliant enough to be, if not a willing participant, than a docile one. i think he does care about your feelings and you loving him back, but your priorities are so drastically different that you two are never actually going to end up on the same page. in his mind, he's done his research (i.e. played roughly a hundred hours of the most popular dating sims he could get his hands on), been a good partner, and taken very good care of his beloved doll/pet/captive. in yours, you've been violated and abused by the man who both kidnapped you and admitted to killing your cat without blinking, and there's very little reconciliation from there.

With the start of summer break, the paddock seems like a distant memory, and you find yourself missing the chaos, laughter, and familiar faces more than you'd expected. Keeping in touch with everyone has helped, especially with Franco, who seems to text you constantly, sharing everything from his workouts to random, sleepy thoughts late at night. He's been especially sentimental, knowing he won't see you at Monza for his last race this season.

"Estoy triste, preciosa," he'd texted one night. "No será lo mismo sin ti en Monza. Pero entiendo... tus estudios son importantes."

(I'm sad, beautiful. It won't be the same without you in Monza. But I get it... your studies are important)

You reassured him, keeping your own excitement in check. After all, you've been secretly planning to be there, working with Ollie to make it happen. Ollie has been incredibly helpful, helping you with logistics and timing everything perfectly to keep Franco unsuspecting. You can already imagine Franco's reaction, the surprise lighting up his face when he sees you waiting for him.

Franco has no idea, of course. Whenever he brings up Monza, you bite your lip, knowing that every "I'll miss you" only makes your plan sweeter.

As the plane touches down in Italy, a surge of nerves and excitement rushes through you. You take a deep breath, texting Franco a quick good luck message for his testing, and then reach out to Ollie to let him know you've arrived.

As soon as you spot Ollie waiting in the paddock, he gives you a warm smile, and it feels like no time has passed since you last saw each other. You wave, hurrying over, and he pulls you into a hug.

"It's so good to see you again," he says, his tone carrying a hint of something deeper. "I really missed having you around. Feels different here without you."

You smile, touched. "I've missed you too. It's been so weird not being here with everyone. But hey, England isn't that far," you say with a small grin. "You could always come for a visit."

Ollie's eyes brighten at that, his smile soft. "Yeah? You're serious?"

"Of course!" you laugh. "We'd have a blast. Besides, you've been a lifesaver, helping me set all this up for Franco. I owe you."

He shrugs, trying to play it cool but clearly pleased. "Well, what are friends for, right?" He scratches the back of his neck, giving you a little nudge. "Still, it's... really good to see you again. The paddock has been a bit dull without you."

You feel a pang of guilt. "Ollie, you're the best. Really. I don't know what I'd do without you."

When you ask Ollie about Franco's schedule, he confirms that F3 practices should wrap up in about an hour, leaving you with just enough time to talk with Ollie about your breaks. An hour later, you say goodbye to Ollie and make your way to Franco's area, anticipation bubbling up at the thought of surprising him.

But as you arrive, you're greeted with an unexpected scene: Franco's team members are already packing up, clearly finished for the day.

"Oh, Franco? He left about an hour ago," one of his teammates informs you, looking slightly puzzled by your surprise.

Your stomach sinks as you realize Ollie must have gotten the timing wrong. You quickly thank the team and head off, a little flustered but determined. Adjusting your bag, you pull up directions to Franco's hotel and set off, anticipation giving way to a new kind of excitement as you imagine his reaction when he finally sees you.

The weeks of planning and anticipation finally led you here, standing outside Franco's hotel room in Italy, heart racing with excitement. After a gentle knock, the door opens, and there he is—his eyes widening in surprise before a look of pure joy lights up his face. Before he can even speak, you step forward, wrapping your arms around him as he catches you with a warm, delighted laugh.

"¡Mi amor, estás aquí!" he says, his voice barely a whisper, filled with a mix of awe and happiness as he holds you close. He pulls you in even tighter, his hand slipping to the small of your back as he rests his forehead against yours. "I thought I wouldn't see you until after Monza... I can't believe this."

You look up, smiling as you meet his eyes, the thrill of seeing him making everything around you fade away. "I couldn't miss your last race," you say, fingers gently tracing his cheek. "Surprising you was worth it."

Franco lets out a soft, warm laugh, his thumb brushing your jawline as he leans down to kiss you. His lips press against yours, slow and tender, but soon the longing between you both makes it deepen, the kiss growing more passionate as his arms pull you even closer, as if he's afraid to let go. Your fingers thread through his hair, and he sighs against your lips, murmuring something in Spanish that you don't quite catch, but his tone alone is enough to send warmth rushing through you.

When you finally part, both breathless, he gazes at you with a dazed smile. "This is the best surprise you could've given me, cariño," he murmurs, voice soft. "You have no idea how much I missed you."

Grinning, you give him a teasing nudge. "Oh, this is just the start. I've planned an entire night for us."

He raises an eyebrow, an excited spark in his gaze. "You spoil me too much," he says, his voice low as he cups your face. "I don't know how I got this lucky."

You laugh softly, resting your hand against his chest, savoring the steady beat of his heart. "You make me want to, Franco."

With a gentle tug, he guides you inside, closing the door behind you both, wrapping his arms around you once more. As he holds you, the world feels smaller, more intimate, just you and him. For now, the paddock, the races, even Ollie's help fade into the background. It's only Franco, his soft touch, his lingering kisses, and the quiet promises exchanged between you.

Eventually, his arms circle you fully, pulling you into a warm embrace that says more than words. You smile, feeling completely at home as you rest your head against his chest, and the quiet comfort between you two fills the room.

My very silly quest has reached its technical end point after EXACTLY 10 months of intensive reading! It has been sometimes grueling, often delightful, and led to me developing intense opinions in directions i never thought possible to myself. But I have done it, and I am extremely pleased with myself.

To get some housekeeping out the way, I usually give recs upon a writeup, but since there were only three fics left for me to read i'm just gonna shout them out generally.

What next?

First of all, I'm gonna spend a good long time reading other things. I've accumulated a great big To-Be-Read pile of pleasure reading consisting of both real-ass books and other fanfic that have been put at a lower priority while I powered through this project. I have had fun, but it is high time for a Break to read and do other stuff for a bit. (*glances nervously at my unstarted secsam project*)

If you happen to like my thoughts about what I'm reading, this past year I tried to keep track with reading log posts. They got stripped down to the basics over the course of the year and Finals Season sorta took it out of me so there's nothing for the past couple weeks BUT. i like reading a lot and i like talking about it a lot. so that's all tagged as #cal reading log if you want to keep up with me and my reading

and, what shall happen to these writeups! I'm not interested in continuing these in perpetuity, but I may give a final send off one when the tag hits 2000 (i'm still deciding). otherwise, this is likely the end of them. I might still shout out inidivudual cool fics that get published as I read them, but that's just like, good fandom practice to spread around cool fanworks tbh, rather than this weird thing I've done. nonetheless, i hope y'all had fun watching this journey

When I found your fics a couple of months ago I devoured them. Now I get ridiculously excited every time I see a new update to ANY of your stories. You are an exquisite writer, and you have given such depth, grace and nuisance to JJ’s tale. In particular, WTK is so special. And I often re-read it. I wanted to let you know that, because as the credits rolled on season 4, one of my first thoughts was I hope A41 doesn’t abandon their stories. I could understand why you might. What the show runners did was heartbreaking and horrible. I still cannot comprehend how anyone could create JJ and then do what they did to his character. I don’t plan on watching the show again, but I will always read you fics, as long as you continue to publish them. You really are a remarkable writer, and I hope you continue to explore JJ’s story in whatever form it inspires. Thank you for loving JJ and for choosing to share your wonderful work.

If it’s later than s1 I may be able to watch enough of it. But yea most importantly where to start with meta for the ship and has anyone done a primer for the ship I could read? Thank you so much for the congrats! XD It's a delight to have been screaming, "Buck is bisexual!" since ep 107 and get to 704, and get it confirmed as canon. ^u^

Well, I guess the good news for you is that Eddie doesn't appear in s1, so if you're less interested in seeing the shown when it was only featuring Buck out of the ship, then go ahead and skip that. I do think it matters to see that season, to better understand Buck's journey, and also why Eddie was such an important and positive person in his life once they became friends (plus s1 is just 10 eps), but if you're more inclined to skipping, Eddie shows up in 201.

As for meta, I didn't sit down to write anything until the end of both s2 and the first half of s3, by which point I felt like I would explode if I didn't. So, that meta was more summarized than my weekly Buddie meta posts I started doing starting in the second part of s3. And you can probably just... skim through that first round of Buddie meta (it looks like it has a lot of parts, but some are quite short) and my other buddie meta posts (which you can find through my pinned post) to get a good idea of the Buddie r/s overall.

Honestly, the big moments that really cemented things, are the beginning of Buddie, in the first few eps of s2, ep 210 which gives us our first glimpse of Buck and Eddie being co-parents to Chris, 218 where you see how much they've come to mean to each other already, the start of s3, 309 and THE kitchen scene (don't ask, but it will be THE kitchen scene for you as well, once you've watched it), the end of s4 and the shooting storyline, s5's best Buddie moments were IMO in 504, 506, 513 and 514, s6 was a bit of a mess, but eps 610 to 612 or so are probably the vital ones. So if you're interested, you can check out the weekly meta posts for those specific eps.

You and Hughie meet at an open mic night at the smallest local community theatre. While Hughie has the typical "nerd" interests, like Star Wars and robotics, he greatly enjoys theatre — when he was young, his father constantly re-ran Grease and West Side Story, and had kept up his interest in it semi-spontaneously (mostly when he got free tickets from one of the busboys there, who he was in an improv troupe with in high school).

There are two things that lead wee Hughie to approaching someone: them being his type, and them not being surrounded by people, because he is an anxious young man. Lucky you, you're both — when he sees you in a colorful sweater sitting at the corner of the room, the guy immediately approaches you because A) you are a cutie patootie and B) he does not bode well with crowds either.

I'll be honest... Hughie, bless his heart, does not start out as the most socially aware person when it comes to you. He is definitely one of those guys who see women with their headphones in and go "omg artsy must talk" so... it starts like that.

That being said, he's never been and will never be malicious about it, just... awkward, and just Hughie. He'll start out very earnestly, with just a, "hey, is it fine if I sit here?" before starting some awkward but sweet small-talk before the show starts.

When it does, you two stop, but after... you do talk more. It's a bit awkward — y'all are both not the most social — but Hughie works up the confidence to ask you for your number.

He's a pretty formal guy, so expect the first text to reflect that. The morning after at 9:00 A.M. on-the-dot (bro was enchanted by you and was overthinking it way too much), he sends, "Hey Davy, it's Hughie from the open mic night! It was great chatting with you :) there's a nice café near the theatre that I think you'd like. Would you like to get lunch there on me? No worries if not!"

You do, and Hughie, ever the hopeless romantic, falls quick. Hughie is a very straightforward, earnest guy, so conversations with him flow on a different wavelength, in a positive way. He "gets" sarcasm, but doesn't particularly like it — he only uses it himself when he's really pissed — so you two are a great match.

And, while Hughie starts out not being 100% tuned in to you, he catches on pretty quickly, since he shares a lot of traits with you, though he masks more frequently. He would specifically choose date spots that were very low-stimulation yet still provided an activity to do to avoid too many lapses in conversation, like bowling late at night, going on walks, or checking out comic and music stores.

Would always end the date with something cute but low-pressure (to avoid you feeling indebted/awkward about it), like a nice note, something he saw that made him think of you, etc., and would always send a "thanks for hanging out with me, I had a lot of fun!" text afterward.

Through this, you two become very close, and after you two accidentally spend a night together (starting to watch a bootleg of your favorite musical at 3 AM is not the best choice when you've both had long days), Hughie decides to try making it official, because... he really, really likes you, and hasn't felt this way about anyone in a long time.

To do this, he plans out a very elaborate day together, but makes sure it's not anything that would make you feel pressure to say yes to him asking to become your boyfriend. He would take into account all your interests and, after suggesting a walk, would tell you about how he felt about you and point-blank ask to start a relationship with you (while, of course, being very ramble-y).

Whether you said yes on the spot or took time to think about it, it would work out, and y'all would be the happiest couple.

Weekly, he plans out dates in advance that the two of you can do together revolving around your interests.

Also shares your love for Christmas to a tee... and a very, very enthusiastic tee, at that. When Christmas comes around, not only do you all make hot cocoa, decorate the Christmas tree, and watch Christmas movie, but the dude goes all out, buying you both matching Christmas sweaters, making Christmas cards that sign off with "Davy and Hughie), visiting the mall Santa at quiet hours, etc.

Once he catches on to how you appreciate more nerdy guys, he will talk your ear off about his interests, particularly computer science and Star Wars, and would make full-on diagrams to explain anything that is foggy.

You two would definitely have PowerPoint nights with each other, and they would be fun as fuck. Y'all are different sides of the same coin.

Is extremely fascinated by your participation in theatre (he's always been a viewer and never an actor), and always supports you at whatever shows you go to, bringing flowers and making the cutest Instagram posts in support of you.

Also, since you both tend to wear very similar clothing every day (even if Hughie changes the band tee, he always wears the same brand & model of jeans, and has done so for three years, even with weight gain and loss), you tend to mirror each other in very funny ways.

Additionally, you have very similar stances/ways of speaking, and it definitely cracks the boys up when they see you two together, because somehow, you mirror each other even in resting posture.

So, that brings us to the boys: Hughie is not a good liar, or someone with a good poker face, so he wouldn't try hiding his involvement with the boys from you. And, in relationships, he greatly values agency — he's going to protect his partner, but he's not going to restrict them, either. So, he'll introduce you to the boys, and if you decide to get involved, he'll let you (within reason).

Kimiko is your best friend in the group; obviously, she has communication issues of her own, and catches onto your hiccups with sarcasm and facial expressions and always is respectful of it. Since she tends to communicate with others through physical touch and facial expressions, she makes a point to always type out things to you and have you type back in turn.

She isn't super familiar with pop culture — and is especially unfamiliar with musicals — so she loves to stream musicals with you, and even just hang out in silence.

Also, I'd argue that you both have an interest in teaching — you in your subject(s) of choice, and Kimiko in fighting and sign language. You two will spend nights with each other just teaching each other what there is to know in your interests of choice, and it is 100% the most wholesome interactions both of you have had in your lives.

You and M.M. would also get along very well, too. He's a very intellectually-focused guy, and, like Hughie, tends to be very to-the-point and earnest. You two don't have many overlapping interests, but have really great conversations.

And, while M.M. is busy: he gets feeling like the "new guy" and/or "odd one out" in social situations (bro was the only moral backbone in the coup for a long, long time), so he exchanges numbers with you and always is there for a formal chat.

Frenchie really likes you, but he can be a bit much sometimes, so he definitely tries to monitor himself around you and not scare you away too much. He's definitely someone who can come across intensely — not as much in the Butcher sense, but more in the "holy shit, this dude has 100 things running around his brain even if he seems outwardly calm" sense — so he typically tries speaking to you when he's sober.

Is also very sweet with you when he does, even if it's a bit random and disjointed.

And, Butcher... so. I don't imagine you two getting along at first. Butcher wouldn't dislike you, but his sense of humor and general way of interaction with people is... a lot... and would cause tension at the start.

However, Butcher does genuinely care about people that he respects. And, the guy respects you a lot: while you're very different people, he can tell you're a good person, and one that he likes. He's a guy who has a moral compass, but a practical one, and would be able to sense that in you, and see you as a strong, principled person. Because of that, he would try to tone down his sarcasm and brashness, but, admittedly, it would come off as awkward and clumsy. So:

"Oi..." [awkward pause, with Butcher clearly realizing 'cunts' is taken a lot differently in America than it East End] "you lot..."

Lastly, Annie: while I don't imagine you two would be as close as you and Kimiko would be, you would have a very pure friendship. Annie's been around a lot of wallflowers in her time, and, before her mother beat it out of her, was the wallflower, and feels very protective over you.

She would always come up to you at gatherings with a warm smile and spark a conversation, but not to an overwhelming extent. She probably wouldn't ask to hang out too much — she's a busy gal — but I see you two having long conversations about your aspirations, fears, and interests.

All in all: you and Hughie have one of the purest relationships in "The Boys" universe, and you've got a great group of friends to show for it, too. Have fun with them, girl.

First of all, welcome in Granblue Fantasy! i'm so glad you enjoyed Relink as much as you did <33333 Granblue is a very special game for me and Relink really was a wonderful adaptation of it all, and i'm so thrilled that new people can get to discover Granblue thanks to it!

As for me, i've never watched the anime and i have been playing the mobage since 2019, still going strong now 💪 so as you can imagine, i would recommand the mobage more personally.

it depends however if you are comfortable with Visual Novels, since the main game is pretty much a Visual Novel with Turn-by-turn RPG mechanisms!

The anime has two seasons and cover the very begining of the main story, before doing its own thing, taking inspiration from the game but not straight up adapting it. I'd say, it's a good experience if you want to discover a bit more about the world. That said you'll only see in it the characters from the Main Plot of Relink (MC, Lyria, Vyrn, Katalina, Rackam, Eugen, Rosetta, Io, i call them the Core Crew personally), and it won't go as in deep into them as the mobage does. I think Zeta makes a small appearance in the anime, possibly Ferry too? but that will be about it.

but if you want to really know the characters, do feel free to play the Mobage.

it's actually a browser game that is optimized for chronium browsers. You can play it here:

(on the homepage you'll be able to switch to English and tadaa. after the prologue they'll ask you to bind your account, i recommand you make a Mobage account to connect to Granblue. The wiki can give you a step by step way to do it)

Most of the stories of the game are easily available as you progress through the main story. you don't need to get really deep into the gameplay (unless you want to) to really access to most of the story.

There are stories that are locked in Fate Episodes, which comes from units you get from Gacha most of the time. Those can give you a pretty good glance into granblue in general.

The Main Story Quest (MSQ) will introduce you to the Core Crew and will give you free units of them all. It's in the MSQ that you'll also meet Ferry, from the extended character list.

Once you progress into the MSQ, you'll unlock the Side Stories. those are basically parallels story of when the crew stops on others islands, not related to their search for Estalucia. It's in this tab that you will meet the rest of the cast.

For example, to meet Lancelot, Vane, Siegfried and Percival, you need to read up to chapter 16 of the Main Story, and the story "Defender's Oath" will unlock This was their first appearances. They have a lot of stories since they have a guaranted story event every year. In doubt if you want to find some reading list, the wiki is your friend, or you can also ask me, i'm happy to help!

For information, the side stories first start out as limited event stories. There is one new one every months on the mobage. Once the event is over, it will disappear from the game, unless you read through it (or skipped it) so it was saved in Lyria's journal for you to come back to whenever you want; Eventually, it will get a rerun (there's usually a rerun once a month or once every two months), and then down the line it will get added to the side stories.

so it means that there are some stories you won't find in the side story tab.

THAT SAID.

If all of this is complicated on its own, or you don't want to play the game but still read on the story, or if you don't want to get invested in the gacha to get the fate episodes: know that about all of the content of the game is available on youtube, and the script of each of them is also available on the wiki.

The game may be a little confusing to know what to read.

The wiki can help, but it's also confusing when you don't know what to look for.

at any rate, know that my inbox is always opened if you have questions, if you want to look for tips, for stories to read, for links, anything you may want. I'm always happy to help.

I think you can always watch the anime and it'll give you a little clearer of an idea of what those characters are, but if you want to KNOW them, the mobage is totally the way.

As a little warning, the writing improved a lot during the decade the game ran, and early content tends to be a little more simplistic or shorter. So if you don't get grabbed in right away, do consider that the further you'll go, the better the stories.

The valentine's day campain will be ongoing soon, so if you want to give vday chocolates to Katalina or Rackam or Rosetta, you can start the game and discover that for yourself ;D

The 10th anniversary event will also be underway in a couple of weeks, which will normally come with free pulls and rewards, which makes it a good season to start the game to get some footing, if you feel like it.

I saw that you finished uploading the last chapters of ILGOSS and I stopped by to congratulate you and to thank you for your work. I know you have said that you are not an expert on the subject of couples therapy sessions, honestly who on this site or AO3 can be? In other matters I have always wanted to tell you about the succession comments you left me. And I don't know if you've reached the end yet too because it's been a long time. But please give Connor the benefit of the doubt, I also saw him as a very unnecessary character, but check out his conversations because they also tell something in the story but they are very subtle. Until you get to season 4 and .... I don't want to say more for you to be surprised.

I'm watching it for the fourth time and I see that I let go of some of the dialogues that Connor had that revealed a few little things.

I love the story of Kenl but I was always rooting for Shiv

For this blog, I will be talking about my village!!! Ain't that cool?????

It's like weird to think that there's a lot of things in this place. It is a shame I don't really stay there that much, only when the semesters ended. I don't know if that's called a 'I don't live there' thing.

Let's start with the name - Phai ngarm (means "beautiful Bamboos"). Oddly enough, the village has almost no bamboo. If there is, it is next to my grandfather's chicken farm. Which has around 9-15 bamboos. (It is an extremely small amount of bamboo considering that the village's name has the word "bamboo" in it.) And that is because, it used to be full of bamboos. Like a bamboo forest!

here is a brief description of Phai Ngarm.

Phai Ngarm is a small community on the bank of the Nan River. Most of agricultural area is on the highland which is suitable for corn farming. The main problem is the shortage of rainfall. Some parts of the area are the lowland which encounters flood problem. Thus, the agriculture of the village is unsuccessful. Consequently, people are poor. After harvesting season, some works for money in different places to earn money.

Wat Phai Ngarm

Well, nothing much interesting I'm afraid, but, I want to show you the local temple of the village! Yes, you've read that right. A TEMPLE IN THE VILLAGE! Its name is Wat Phai Ngarm (wat is the Thai word for temple)

People go there to pray and carry the sand into it in Songkran day. I've been there once and I've seen it everyday when I was a child! I recommend you going there because it's a check mark for this village. But if the weather is really hot, I recommend not to go there. (I'm being honest though, if you like hot weather that's fine^^)

As far as I can remember, it is no longer opening. I do not remember going there, or probably I do and cannot remember because I was a child, but, fortunately I have an image of it! (⁠ᗒ⁠ᗩ⁠ᗕ⁠)

Here is all that I can remember. It is not as cool as you as you might've expected, but it is still cool though ^^

Lets talk about the atmosphere next! - Phai Ngarm has an absolutely peaceful atmosphere (if that is a word). Well, the people here are friendly too! You might see some car running pass you and you can say hello to the driver to though if you dare. (99% of the time the driver greets you back) And because of the fact that Nan river flows through this village, it gives Phai Ngarm a fresh look... or that's what I thought.

And there goes season 6 there is so much to get through so strap in. Sorry this is so late my job has giving me the most stressful hours this week.

Ferrari got a new team principal, aww no more Binotto(is it me or does he look a little like Jack Antonoff lol). Man Ferrari really is that F1 team and there fans go wild so they will always have that status weather they win or lose. They also really know how to keep there drivers in check.

Daniel getting back on the track, it’s really where he belongs. That injury for him was bad and on the hand to so horrible for him. I’m surprised that not many drivers suffer injuries considering how crazy some of the crashes can be. Just wonderful to see him doing what he was born to do. Nice to see that Horner truly cares about him and still sees potential in him.

Otmar really needed to stop being so soft when it comes to discipline those drivers but it was sad the way Alpine let him go. The drivers totally don’t have to be friends but they need to a least have some respect for each other. Taking accountability for ur actions cause in the end it’s gonna hurt the team and yourselves. Being competitive is a good thing but u got to keep ur ego in check so it doesn’t do more damage than necessary.

Tough go for Lewis this season not having the car he needs to get the 8 championship so he can be forever known as the best driver Formula 1 has ever seen. If leaving Mercedes in the future gets him to that achievement well I guess that’s that. I mean Alonso is still putting in work on the track while being the oldest driver on the track.

That battle for second place for the Constructors Championship was so nerve wracking and fun to watch. Max having an outstanding year uhhh I love him it’s so well deserved. Just literally dominated that whole year.

You seriously got to respect that fan-fiction origin that Zak has in Formula 1. As much as I’m starting to really like McLaren, had to reevaluate when I heard and saw they had Trump there for the Miami race. Taking pictures and everything, such a bummer, that’s something hard to look past at least for me. Because that man stands against everything I believe in, it was so disappointing. But Lando is so great and very talented would be a shame if he’s views aligned with someone as terrible as Trump. I don’t mean to put u on the spot but do u have any opinions or feelings about this. It’s just i know I don’t know you in real life but I’ve come to genuinely respect ur opinion and outlook on things. Please if this is to personal then just disregard this whole paragraph.

But who is Carlos going to drive for next year I’m worried, Ik he’s too talented to not have a seat on a team but he needs a good team and good car. Yay I got to watch my first race live, those last few laps were so good I love to see a good battle. Lando making Max work for that win, it was a very fun first race for me. Looks like I've got a lot to catch up on S(ainz)!! But I'm so glad you've enjoyed that season. I wish there were more moments of my man's Max, but I think he declined being on DTS as much, which is fair since they really paint him in a negative light.

I wish sometimes Daniel never left. While I'm glad Max gets the favorable treatment on Redbull, I think Daniel and Max were the closest thing for Redbull on being "fair" on both drivers. Well at least in my opinion.

But I think Lewis's move on Ferrari has been a long time coming even though I thought he was gonna retire with Merc. Like all that history, it just makes me sad but I'm happy for him.

But I've seen mix stories of why Trump was specifically with McLaren, supposedly it was because their garage was the closest to the exit. But regardless, the fact that Lando views Trump as a "respectable" man is really disappointing. Trump is GARABGE!! I really despise that man so much. To see him there was so DISGUSTING!! But honestly, like Lando, be so forreal with me.

In my opinion, I know that the driver's real life political opinions would upset me. I don't know much about what they believe, but I do know that Lewis's values of supporting black people, women, and LGBTQ+ is what I love the most.

But I feel honored that you respect my opinion, I feel like I talk more about my feelings for Wanda that I rarely share what I feel like in regards to politics.

i'm doing ok! school is just taking a lot out of me. i'm really stressed about my assignments and upcoming exams but i know it'll be ok. i'll get through it and then i'll be able to breathe!!! it'll be great!! i'm trying to just enjoy moments where i can. i got to spend a lot of time with friends lately, and i'm watching some more streamers lol.

i'm also finding new music to enjoy too!!! i posted a couple of times about this song "amor completo" by mon laferte the past few days but it's just so so pretty. i also am really enjoying "antes de ir" by bia ferreira. i got to see her perform a small concert a little bit ago and it was lovely. she's truly so talented and very funny.
