This is my parting message

I gave myself time to think and talked to some people about this and I have decided to say goodbye to y'all.

Time here has been great and I loved pretty much every second of it. However, I want to focus on my real life now. Tumblr became too big of a part of my life for my comfort. Basically, I think it will be better if I quit.

I don't regret this blog. It made me very comfortable in my identity, it educated me, it made me feel loved and brave and powerful.

But it's over.

I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for me. For every like, comment, reblog, ask, tag, message and boop.

So... this is it. This is the end. This has been such a wonderful journey :')

Chapter Eleven: Shoot me (Do it)

(I skipped 'Up the Creek' because it mostly focused on the Screaming Gophers, and when it did mention the Killer Bass Duncan barely was in it)

All you know about today's challenge is that you are going to make it as dramatic as possible, is what you told yourself. Today was friday, and you were going to be on your medicine. So today's story will be told from Duncan's point of view.

Duncan always thought the way her body processed her meds was interesting, because her mood always changed right away.

He watched as Chris handed her the two tiny pills and she swallowed them quickly. Your teammates were looking at you both confused. Suddenly her body did this strange little shudder and she broke out into a smile.

"Today's challenge is all about survival." Chris explained. "We're going hunting." The man smiled cheerfully holding up a gun. "That's more like it." Duncan smirked and gave his (girl-) friend a fist bump.

"Isn't that a paintball gun?" Harold asked. "Why yes, Harold. It is." Chris shot him rather quickly. "So we're not killing anything." Bridgette asked sounding dissapointed.

"No. This is the first ever paintball dear game ever. So finish up breaky and I'll give out teams in the woods." Chris pointed at Owen who had finished off his teams can of beans.

When all of you guys finally got into the woods and Chris announced the game. There'd be 'hunters' and there'd be deer. Each team would be split of both. Duncan, Y/N, DJ, Courtney, and Sadie were deer.

Duncan complained but quickly shut up when she looked at him in his costume and giggled. "Looking cute, bambi." Her fingers booped him on the nose. "Cute to you, mean to anyone else." Duncan muttered a blush forming on his pale face as he pulled her in by the waist.

Chris gave the deers five minutes to hide from the hunters.

So everyone dispersed quickly.

Duncan had a realization as he and you both trudged through the woods. Chris had done this type of challenge on friday just to put the team at a disadvantage. Chris wanted her to be high as the clouds so she'd freak Duncan out.

But Duncan didn't scare easily.

"Hey, darling?" He asked as they both silently walked by a pond in the woods looking for any hunter. "What's up, cutie?" Her eyes flickered to look at him.

He didn't like it when she took her meds because he didn't know what was real and what was fake. But he wanted you to take your meds because you looked at peace for once.

"Real or not real: there's something between us?" He muttered. She gave him this smile and he wanted to hit her. "Whatever between us is realer then the sun shining on a sunday morning, baby." Her teeth shined as she laughed.

The day progressed pretty calmly to say the least which Duncan was thankful for. Almost no one shot at them, only Owen tried a few times but luckily for Duncan, his girl and him were a scary duo.

He and his girl sat on the grass, your back leaning against his chest as his arms slithered around your stomach.

Her voice was coming out but he wasn't even listening to the words, he was listening to the sound. Her voice sounded like a song he'd listen to every day if he could.

It tooks about two hours until he felt her body relax. Since everyone at camp was so loud he was keeping track of who was in the lead. So far, it looked like you guys were going to win... by a lot.

Duncan smiled to himself as he gently layed your head onto the grass. He remembered the first time he had played a game with guns, accept it was real guns.

Russian roulette was always fun.

Four years ago

Duncan was thirteen. He had been diagnosed with paranoia, anxiety, as well as DDD. He certainly was an interesting boy to say the least. The first juvie center he stayed at didn't give him his meds, so he acted insane.

"Alright new-blood, let's see if you've got what it takes." James threw the gun to the young boy who put it against his head without flinching. He clicked a bullet without blinking.

"My dad started me on russia roulette when I was five, try harder." Duncan smiled.

The game ended, the killer bass had won and Heather lost her shit on Beth. Duncan noticed that her meds were wearing off once he saw how drained she was acting.

She was quiet, and she nearly collapsed on her bunk when the team had finally returned back to the cabins. Courtney must've noticed the worried glance Duncan had given the girls side of the cabin because she whispered.

"We'll watch over her." She smiled kindly.

So that night, Courtney had directed a tired Y/N into the bathroom to change and wash your face, as Bridgette layed you on her cot putting a trash can beside you in case your body reacted poorly from your new change in your meds schedule.

Which it did.

The cameras caught Sadie holding your hair back as you dry heaved into the can. (#girlsprotectgirls was already trending on X)

Thoroughly enjoyed the explorations of Vincent's hangups and repression; and its unhealthy expressions as the Other continues to merge. Your descriptions are so expressively specific (Betty Boop mouth) that I eat 'em up and can't wait for more. Diana had a lot on her plate-- having to manage Maxwell and Vincent and Father-- but it gave me, the all-important reader, ample opportunity to soak in the four characters. The line you ride with Joe keeps right up with Season 3: he wants his answers, and he'll push for them; but he'll also sense a bigger picture and back off when he needs to. Father and his jealousy was a fun angle; and Vincent and Diana imagining him finding out about their wrestling matches was even more fun. XDDD Speaking of fun, there's something so... Vincent about him recoiling back to the cave, sensing everyone's movements, and sitting around until Diana joins him six days in. Baby Jacob! And Diana's genius about slowly easing Vincent past his fearful barriers! The highs and lows, ups and downs, backwards and forwards of this chapter kept me slipping from paragraph to paragraph in rapid succession.

Liu, Sully, and Brian/Hoodie with a very silent s/o who is touch starved:

Liu:

Liu loves that you are touch-starved and will always give you all the physical affection you want. 

He likes when you touch his hands, and he will get the sign that you want some affection, and he will hug you or holds your hand. 

Liu sometimes gets flustered when you touch his shoulders, and he would be stiff as a rock. He would turn to face you eventually and will ask if you want to cuddle on the couch and if you nod a yes, he would be happy and holds your hand leading you to the couch. 

He loves cuddling with you and loves booping your nose. 

Sully:

Sully will not understand at first when you randomly touch his hands or shoulders, but then he will figure it out and realizes that you are touch-starved. 

He sometimes gets flustered and blushes hard when he feels you touch his hand or shoulders. Sully loves it but sometimes hates to admit that he likes your touch. 

He will ask you if you want a hug or a kiss, but if you want to cuddle he will be happy and will agree to cuddle. 

He is also touch starved, so you also being touch starved is so perfect. 

Brian/Hoodie:

He will understand when you are touch-starved like you can reach your hand to touch his hand or shoulder, and he will know that you're touch-starved. Brian will love seeing how touch-starved you are and will always tease you a bit. 

He will first hug you and tells you how much he loves you. Then he will suggest if you want to cuddle. 

He loves cuddling with you.

Brian will carry you to the couch or his bed for cuddles.

Because it is there, and it will catch up to you, no matter how hard you try to hide from it. And at the end of the day? At least it isn’t a lie.

"Let's hope they taste bad then!" he smiled, hoping to have the opportunity to bake brownies. 

"Wait, do you have your dad's credit card still?" asked Lav, aware of the fact his father was a horrible man. 

"Oh yes, always. It's the closest thing to revenge I'll get on him. Anyway, let's keep going, I wanna see if the dragon section has anything cool- OMG WE SHOULD LOOK AT THAT FLOWER DISPLAY IN THE BACK IT LOOKS REALLY PRETTY!!" 

Lavender averted her gaze to the flower display in question, "Oh you're right! Let's go check it out!" she replied, speed walking towards the display, Mason in hand.

They admired all the different colors and designs the flowers had, especially the "non natural" glitter flowers.

"Button! These flowers match your eyes!" she exclaimed, holding up a bundle of decorative grey glitter flowers. 

"Wait really-" he started, until he was cut off with a peck to the lips.

"Here ya go, pretty boy. My treat." 

He took the flowers with a laugh, holding her hand. 

"Thank you Lovely, I love them. Wanna go look at the dragons?"

"YES!" she exclaimed, a sparkle in her eyes.

And with that, the two teens ventured off into the world of dragon figurines.
