You're now the second D.E. blogger I follow I've seen passingly mention "the Ambrosius thing" and I have absolutely no idea what that is and am incredibly intrigued. Mind giving me a quick rundown or pointing me to something about it?

Have you ever thought about Ballister Blackheart Bottom? I don't know, it was very cute and satisfying to see how embarrassed and somewhat terrified he was when he saw himself in the mirror in the last fic. Besides, Ambrosius likes his expressions of pleasure, doesn't he? I'm just saying that it would be an interesting idea hehehe sorry for the inconvenience 👀✨

I have definitely considered the possibility of Bottom Blackheart, while I haven't written out a scene of it in any of my published works, I've made reference to it in a couple. I think he would usually top, but he'd enjoy bottoming/Amb would enjoy topping on occasion for the reasons you mention ☺️

Part of the reason I think Blackheart almost always tops is the mechanical issue that topping would be more difficult with weakness or paralysis of the lower body, like Ambrosius has, although ofc it's still possible. I think usually if he was topping, Bal would have to be riding, or they'd have to be spooning or lying together in some position that would make it less strenuous on Amb's body.

It would definitely be fun to write sometimes! I think that pre-joust it happened slightly more often, I generally think they both enjoyed riding each other a lot at that point. Post-Canon Amb would have a hard time riding, and would honestly just wanna relax and let Ballister take care of him most of the time I think lol

Ship of the week: Ballister and Ambrosius from the animated movie Nimona! Saw it was nominated for an Oscar so I finally decided to watch it and omg they're so AAARGH and the movie is SOOOO metal 🤘

First ship

The only one I can remember is Rose and Scorpius from Harry Potter lol. I was obsessed with them when I was like 12, I even made like a story with like the next gen kids (before the Cursed Child released). Then I paired up Albus with an OC and they became my favorite ship instead LMAO. I'm not that into the fandom anymore but I do still think about them sometimes. (Also to be clear I do not support J.K Rowling AT ALL, even created a metamorphmagus trans lady as a teacher in my story to piss her off lol)

Comic book series Fables! Just finished vol. 14 today. Only 57 issues to finish the original run lol. The Telltale video game The Wolf Among Us is based on these comics if you were curious! (that's what got me into comics, now I work at a comic book store LMAO)

Last film

Decided to watch The Mitchells VS The Machines again (yes recently I've only been watching A LOT of animated movies fjhjksshjfk) and it's such a great movie. I totally had forgotten about the Furby scene (don't ask) and I almost cried of laughter.

Currently craving

I actually don't crave anything at the moment, I got sick with my sinuses last week and idk, it poofed away my cravings LMAO.

6 - Which character do you relate to the most?

This might be a generic answer, but probably Nimona. Her personality and chaotic energy remind me a lot of how I used to act when I was a bit younger, and I still have that same sense of humour.

7 - What was your favorite part of the movie?

Oh nooooo, do I really have to choose just one scene?

If I did, I think my favourite is probably the whole demon baby/kidnapping/carjacking sequence. It was so well done, and the final clip where Nimona and Ballister are sitting in the car and all of the arrows are shaking as they drive cracks me up every time I see it. Nimona and Ballister are such a good comedic duo, and I love watching their plans go awry.

22 - Do you have any headcanons that you'd like to share?

I like to headcanon that after the end of the movie, Ballister and Ambrosius have specific date nights/one night of the week where they go out, and Nimona makes it her personal mission to crash every time. She doesn’t actually ruin anything, she just wants to play around a bit. Little does she know, after the first month Ballister and Ambrosius actively plan their dates around it, and have come to view it as “Nimona Night” instead. They stay in and have a more relaxed date the day after.

30 - Have you seen the movie, read the comic/graphic novel, or done both?

I’ve seen the movie fully, and read bits and pieces of the graphic novel. I didn’t have time to finish it because I was borrowing a copy that my sibling borrowed from the library and it was due back. I really should go back for it though…

56 - Are there any AUs that you'd like to see/write/make art of?

I always love mermaid AUs, and I am very happy every time I see art of them. I can never get enough!

I also really think monster AUs in general are super interesting, given the context of the movie. I would love to see a fic that explores more of the dynamic shift between Nimona and Bal, or even Nimona and Ambrosius, if one of them isn’t human as well.

Three ships I really like right now:

Gaulcienne my beloved! Lucienne the Librarian and Gault the Shape-changing Dream from The Sandman. They are both so brave and competent and beautiful, and they don't deserve what Dream has put them through so let them find comfort with each other. That's it, that's the ship.

Ineffable Lackeys (or juniors or minions or whatever): Muriel my beloved and Eric the Disposable Demon from Good Omens. We're not sure exactly why Eric keeps reappearing each time he's killed, but he asks those questions even if it gets him blasted every time. Muriel seems so innocent and naive, but they are going to change the world by asking the right questions no one else would ever think to ask. They like Eric because he surprises them, and he likes them because they are kind to him.

Goldenheart: Ballister Boldheart and Ambrosius Goldenloins are the gorgeous *canonical* mlm racially diverse ship of my dreams, and! they get trauma caused by each other and Nimona thrown into their relationship just for extra spice! Can they work it out? Do you see the stars in their eyes? They will figure it out, but it will take more work than they expect and whenever they think Nimona is hindering, they'll find she's actually helped.

First ever ship: Jean Luc Picard and Beverley Crusher. On tumblr, Dreamling.

Last song: playing Tchaikovsky in the car atm, probably something from Romeo and Juliet.
