i'm, heart eyes 🥺 how do you know me so well…(besides these are my favorite seasons hehe) apple picking sounds so us, especially going to the grocery store if it's october to buy decorations for fall, we like to buy sweaters and decorate pumpkins. satoru sees sweaters or cozy clothes in shades of brown and green and shows them to me right away with the biggest smile followed by, "you have to take that home, i'm gonna buy it for you."

i learned to bake because of him, actually. i have always loved to cook but i learned to bake, especially cookies and sweet little things because he likes it, satoru prefers not to be in the kitchen he is always willing to help me with his apron always on "kiss the chef."

i love winter and christmas, satoru learned to love this celebration especially because of me. he likes to accompany me to buy decorations for our tree and go shopping for gifts together for our friends and we are always looking forward to the dinner shared between our families.

in winter we like to be snuggled up in bed with our blanket that has hearts on it, drinking chocolate, watching movies and cuddling our cat. we like to take advantage of winter vacations to be together and spend time at home, we are usually both busy so on vacations we are always looking forward to sharing together.

He does! Lore dump below the cut:

Torin was born outside of the Lands Between. His parents died when he was young, so he was taken in by the church and raised on the teachings of the Two Fingers. He manages to live a decent life into young adulthood before he's seriously wounded when the church is raided by enemies of the Two Fingers and the Golden Order. Although the initial wound doesn't kill him, he lingers painfully for days before finally succumbing to infection. He's resurrected by grace and the church immediately begins training him to be a confessor. After a few years in training, the church sends him to the Lands Between to hunt down those who have strayed from grace.

Nowadays, he prefers not to speak of his old life as his faith in the Golden Order and the Two Fingers has become a bitter memory.

What is one of your favorite whump tropes?

oh hohohohooooo there are SO MANY.

Top fave that came to mind? When the strong character, the one who is so good at toughing things out, the one who has Seen Some Shit and been through hell before so obviously they'll be fine. Like, they're a resilient little fucker - of course they'll make it.

And then the rescue comes and none of that is left.

They can't talk through the pain, they can't lift themselves off the floor, they don't even seem aware of what's going on anymore. Whether it was a person who hurt them, or a disaster, or just an accident, the whump has won. Whoever's come to the rescue, they can barely recognize them in this state. All they can do is bring the character to safety, hold their hand, and pray to whatever's listening that their friend makes it through.

That's the good shit.

Too easy, too broad, I'll just drip feed you a lil, and paste some old art to boot! Rynn: 1. Is the galactic equivalent of forklift certified since she was 15. 2. Mistrusts and strongly dislikes droids.

Barley: 1. Doesn't speak any language comprehensible by humans and mostly uses sign language. Might be mute. 2. Is remarkably clever and intelligent, which might be part of why she just couldn't stand hangin' round with most fauns.

Sarissa: 1. Has terribly short memory/attention span and has long since forgotten the actual charge she was sent to Toril to accomplish. 2. Is really not all that smart, but she IS wise to the ways of the fey, and how to deal with them. She is not gullible in the slightest and guards her true name well, much to the frustration of many she meets.

hello hello! I hope you don't mind me dropping by but I just want to say I love your art so much, the way you draw vashwood is just so sweet and tender but can I just ramble about the way you draw Vash especially? More specifically, the way you draw his expressions when he's looking at Wolfwood???

I just LOVE the way you draw Vash's expression because the way you make him look at Wolfwood is so soft 😭😭😭. There's just something about it that's so tender, like whenever I look at Vash's expressions in your art I just think "that is genuinely someone who loves another person with all their heart" and it just mends and breaks my heart at once, you capture Vash's love for Wolfwood in ways I can't explain 👏

It's unbridled love mixed with the fear of hurting Wolfwood in their relationship. It's wanting to spill so much affection but holding back in fear of messing up. He looks at Wolfwood like he's longing for him so earnestly be it pre-relationship or even when they're already dating it's just so??? 💕💕💘💞💖💖💞💕

There's just something so tender and heart wrenching at the way Vash looks at Wolfwood in your art, it gets me really emotional and I hope you have a lovely day/night for real <33!!!

ouuuuu thank you so so much for your kind words and for taking the time to tell me this T_T !!! i'm glad my expressions for vash's longing gazes at wolfwood is well done enough to have this sort of response to it…

he's the kind of person that has to hold back in both words and touch when it comes to love, when it comes to wolfwood, but i think it's a difficult emotion to restrain, especially when wolfwood is kind enough to let it be.

ultimately, what they're allowed to have is the inevitable shared spaces during their travels, it's the other's physical presence, being next to wolfwood, being able to take him in through the way he simply exists. smelling smoke, seeing smoke, seeing the cigarette between his fingers, seeing the crosses littered across his person, the rosary snug around his neck, his scruff at his chin, messy bangs, messy hair, tired eyes, the canine that peeks when he speaks, and a voice carrying heavy words, but honest, and kind, and one vash could never get tired of hearing, like how he'd never be tired of just looking at wolfwood.

it's of gratitude, it's of sorrow, it's of grief, it's of love, praise, adoration, it's desperate and it's full of yearning. at first, it's a gaze he feels he has to be satisfied with until he's learned that he's allowed for more and at that point, when wolfwood has given him so much, how could he look at him in any other way?

in any case, i def like to make it known and parade around vash's deeeeeep deep deep feelings of love towards wolfwood, so i'm very happy to know i can express that clearly through his expression alone. i Also just love wolfwood so maybe the projection goes from the heart of the artist to the heart of the art.

i ended up collecting a few caps of his expressions just out of curiosity for myself :3 i have much to improve still, i'll keep on drawing vash's loving self until i can get the ultimate loving expression down!!

I have Gathered some Data

@skysofrey and I recently got into a discussion about names in OFMD. Specifically, how many times does Ed actually call Stede by his name in the show? We could only think of a few examples each and that didn't seem right. And because I'm insane, I decided to rewatch and note down every time a name was used, who used it, and who was being spoken to. Here are my findings!

Before you proceed, please know that this is strictly for fun and because I was curious. There are likely errors in the data (I'm sure I missed some things, I'm just one person.) but! I still think that what's been gathered is very interesting.

Here are some other fun/important/miserable things that I found in my travels:

There is one more time where Stede calls Ed “Edward,” and the only time it isn’t said to him directly. This is when Stede is addressing the petrified orange.

Of the five times that Stede is called “The Gentleman Pirate,” two of them are from Ed.

Ed calls Stede by his name only twelve times in the series. Only two of these instances are spoken to someone else. There are two others when Ed is looking for him at the pier, and therefore spoken to no one.

There are only ten instances of other characters calling Ed something other than his name or “Blackbeard.” Two of these are from Izzy, during the scene in Spanish Jackie’s bar, where he’s informing Stede that Ed would like to meet with him. During this scene, he only uses “my captain” and “my boss.” This is one of the very few times he doesn’t refer to Ed to other people as “Blackbeard” and it’s at the time that is arguably the most important. (He’s an idiot.)

Out of the twenty times that Ed refers to himself, fourteen of those are as “Blackbeard/The Kraken.” He refers to himself with names other than “Ed/Edward” 70% of the time. 50% of the times he refers to himself by his name are during the beach scene in episode nine, and there is only one instance where he uses his name that is not in Stede’s company. ("Actually, I do want to be called 'Ed' from now on.")

Izzy only refers to Ed as "Edward" to other people four times in the show. Two of those times are when he's marooning Stede's crew, and each time he uses his name in that scene, he takes on a mocking tone. Meaning that 50% of every instance he's referred to Ed as "Edward" to other people, he's been mocking his name.

Ed calls Stede "mate" as often as he calls him by his name, but he only calls him "mate" directly.

Stede calls Ed by his name only once more than Izzy does.

80% of the times Ed refers to himself by name happen in episode nine.

You ever think about how scary an Enerjak Silver would be.

admittedly, i’ve never read archie, but from what i’ve read on his wiki, i can see enerjak is some sorta demigod-spirit that possessed a few echidnas and has practically limitless power? so yeah if silver got possessed by enerjak it would be terrifying. silver’s already powerful as he is, so if he was possessed by this being with god-level strength, psychic abilities, and reality-warping, it’d be all over. he could probably turn the planet to dust with the flick of his wrist. the universe itself would be the thing at risk, the planet would already be gone. enerjak silver would be cool as hell to see. completely undefeatable psychokinetic armoured boy? it’d look so awesome.

anyway since i’ve never read those comics so i couldn’t go too in-depth with this question due to not knowing enough about enerjak, i decided to try design enerjak silver! :]

enerjak’s armour is seemingly inspired by egyptian royalty and armour, and since silver is italian, i decided to base enerjak silver’s armour on roman soldiers! i don’t know if that ended up coming across in the finished design, but i swear the inspiration is there ehfjejfjwjf. i tried to have it so silver’s quills came out the top of his helmet like the crest that some roman soldiers’ helmets had, also i imagine the visor covering his face is moveable, so he can lift it up off his face :]
