finally got to ask my auntie about tlingit terms of endearments and i'm crying just thinking about getting to use them in this fic and AH 😭💙💗🖤🤍
#in short#way down the road#cynthia and diantha are going to overhear adaman or irida call the other 'tseiyï'#(vaguely pronounced (soft t) t'say-yeh - tlingit has a lot of vocalizations that just...can't be written out lol)#and at first adaman and irida are flustered as shit bc nobody was supposed to hear that buT#thankfully neither cynthia or diantha will understand it and not make a deal out of it#and so they stupidly realize they can get away with saying it at least in front of them#but cynthia will eventually either learn the translation or remember the translation#it's (essentially) sweetheart#and then diantha is basically holding her back from teasing the mess out of irida over it#bc as i've already said#irida and cynthia have a bit of a sibling-like relationship#diantha and adaman are also close#anyways i'm finally back to having fun with this fic again#nano blogging
