(Milgram self-insert oc masterpost hehe)
Name: For the sake of posting online I’ll call her Rose!
Color: #E7355B [the pink in the art]
Age: I guess she’d be 20 given when Milgram started huh.
Status: Milgram Staff, Machine Technician
Symbols/imagery: ballet/musical theater, science experiments
Song genre: very similar to Mahiru's, something upbeat and extra pop-y
Tentatively she's number 011? She's not really prisoner but she's also not free to come and go, so I'm not actually sure if she'd get a number (Edit: I've decided she'll actually be 012. Staff is given the 01X range, and even though Es doesn't actively have a number they'd be staff member 011, making her 012.)
Story: Since the project is supposed to be realistic/present day, the mv machine would be brand new and unpredictable tech, so they’d want someone keeping up on maintenance and making sure the brain-invasive process won’t cause any harm to the prisoners. Rose was studying abroad in Japan working on some cool neuroscience tech (irl I know nothing about technology or brains but shh) and she stumbled upon some secret tech/plans from Milgram. Long story short, she was dragged into the experiment to make sure things ran smoothly.
Writer's Reasoning: She’s really fun for me to play around with, as she allows me to work with a character who has a tiny bit of pull over Es’ mindset in conversation but not the final decision (aka mirroring the voting system), and someone who is simultaneously trapped in the prison but has a reason to see all the canon content.* I really enjoy the character interactions and dynamics Milgram has set up so far, so it’s been super fun seeing how things change for better and worse when someone not quite aligned with either Milgram/the prisoners is thrown into the mix!
*As much as I love dramatic irony in fiction, it would drive me crazy if I knew every detail of of the vds/mvs but Rose didn't – and every single Milgram character is The Worst Communicator Ever so I couldn’t justify that she’d hear it secondhand from them...
Story roles:
She’s a bit conflicted -- she’s officially Milgram staff and knows she should remain neutral on the prisoners, since she won’t be allowed to interfere with the process/executions. At the same time, her job description is literally “make sure the machine doesn't hurt them and everyone's safe :)” and she's way too emotional to avoid getting hopelessly attached to everyone 😅
I really enjoy the theory that the machine extracts videos based off of priming, so one of Rose’s duties involves listening in on the interrogation and making sure there’s been enough material discussed/not too much time has passed overall (hence the ringing of the bell happening at different lengths for each vd -- That's her ringing it :3). She then watches the mvs along with Es to make sure there are no machine glitches, and know how to calibrate it better for next time.
(IEdit: I've since decided to add in official trial mvs, but before when I wasn't ready to tackle that:) She has to run some tests on the machine to make sure things are calibrated correctly, so she'd extract little things here and there. It gives me the opportunity to think up lyric snippets and recurring symbols for her without worrying about full encompassing music videos.
I'm not afraid to admit she can fall into Mary Sue territory every so often by being everyone's friend, because it's less about "aw everyone likes her" and more about "canon is too painful rn and I need a fix-it tool to take care of these guys and give them hugs and tell them someone forgives them and cares about them and unfortunately these characters wouldn't let anyone less than a friend do that." Rest assured she's definitely not perfect and will fuck everything up on occasion :3
Miscellaneous: Whenever I play around with normal au ideas she's still working on the machine (but in a public, more ethical setting), and she's Mahiru's roommate :) Her character isn't super focused on love, but if I had to pick a cover song it'd be Stickybug II. It's very much my vibe, the lyrics fit well enough (better than most songs, at least lol) and it's one of my favorites out of my limited knowledge of unchosen Deco songs! (Edit, I've actually given her non-deco cover songs hehe)
So yeah, I hope she's not too boring without a cool crime to decipher, but I wanted to share since I was really proud of her! It took a bit of tinkering to find a way to fit her into a perfect secret-third-thing role that runs very smoothly with all of canon, so I was very excited!
#waaahh posting before i chicken out#I've never posted about a self-insert so please be kind lmao 😅#i dont expect a ton of hype for her but if people have questions im always down to talk about her hehe#this is my only art -- i rarely draw oc stuff but i was really happy with how this came out#i definitely dont think shed get a number or those side rune straps by canon standards but the art wouldnt look right without them#im mad that the lab coat and gloves make her look a bit like shidous design :/ i definitely wanted more scientist vibes than doctor#dw she wears her PPE when she works on the machine 😤#yeah yeah theres some shipping aspects sue me -- but genuinely its mostly for fun character studying and fix-its#mkdr and neoneon also hold a special place in my heart but i didnt want to double up on covers#im so sad because she just. doesnt fit into LCSyS#the machine is fake in the au so shed have no opportunity to join the experiment#plus even if i made her generic staff shed just be on the receiving end of the lie with es... which is just canon until the very end adfsdf#WOO huge thank you to kyanako5972 and purgemarchlockdown for enabling me to be annoying once again >:3#and thank you gunsli!! our chat was the first time i ever talked about her and it really gave me a lot of confidence :')#not maintagging but i will edit for organizational tags later#i also may put this on my writing blog at some point but we'll see#my art#rose posts#ocgram#milgram

request: was thinking about that one video that’s like “my wife, she’ll get upset if she sees you touching me like that on my chest” “i am your wife” and then the heart monitor starts going crazy and that put a doctor remus idea in my head after r gets out of surgery/is on anesthesia for something or other
Thanks for requesting!
cw: hospital, mention of surgery
doctor!Remus x fem!reader ♡ 855 words
Lots of people would probably be happy to have their significant other visit them at work, but as it turns out, Remus really doesn’t like it. He’s used to seeing patients post-op, and yet somehow when it’s you it feels sad, all those tubes and wires connected to his girl. The fluorescent lighting turns your complexion wan and the wary frown on your lips as a nurse checks your vitals makes Remus’ heart feel like a bruise.
It helps some when you notice his entry and they stretch into a dopey smile instead.
“Hi, dove.” His voice is soft and smitten, an automatic reaction to seeing you that he’s already heard the new residents commenting on in the break room. “How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay.” You tug at the sheets on your bed. Ball them in your fists like you might be nervous. “My stomach hurts a little.”
“That’s normal,” Remus assures you, even as his stomach dips in sympathy. He sits on the edge of your bed, taking your hand and beginning to draw tight circles into the inside of your wrist. “If it starts to hurt worse, or badly at all, you should let me know, alright?”
“Okay.” Your voice has quieted slightly, your eyes following the motion of his thumb on your skin. You glance at the nurse as though checking if she sees. Remus feels his lips tip up bemusedly.
“Everything alright?” he asks the nurse.
She smiles at the both of you, passing him a clipboard. “She’s stable, ready to move when you’d like.”
“Thanks,” he says, reading over your vitals quickly after she leaves. He sets the clipboard down and gives your hand a squeeze. If your heart monitor gives a quick beep, he pretends not to notice. “You’re all set, lovely girl. We’ll get you to your own room in just a bit.”
You nod, not seeming to hear him. You look to be gnawing on the inside of your lip.
“Hey, don’t do that,” Remus says gently, thumbing it free. Your eyes widen, and he drops his thumb to your chin, looking you in the eyes. “Is something the matter?”
You rub your lips together hesitantly. It’s normal to have a small fever after surgery, but your face feels suspiciously warm. “I just, um, I have a boyfriend.”
Remus feels his face split into an irrepressible grin. He’d been wondering how the anesthesia would affect you. “Yeah, dove,” he agrees, delighted, “I know you do.”
“I don’t…” Your eyes dart to where his thumb still rests on your chin, your shoulders gravitating towards your ears. “I think it would upset him if he knew you were touching me like this.”
Truly, this could not be any better. Remus wishes he’d brought a video camera like James wanted him to. “I am your boyfriend, sweetheart.”
Your expression freezes in place, but your heart monitor starts beeping loudly. Your eyes dart to it, alarm and embarrassment worsening, and Remus laughs, dropping his hand from your chin in favor of rubbing your shoulder until both you and the machine calm down.
“You?” you ask. You appear nothing short of flabbergasted.
“Yes.” He brings your hand to his smiling lips, kissing your knuckles as if to prove it. “Why, are you surprised?”
“You’re serious,” you check. Remus has the opportunity to make a joke here, but he worries it’d only confuse you more.
“I am,” he says.
“But you’re so handsome.”
Another laugh startles out of him. “And what do you think you are? Of course,” he gives your knuckles another brief peck just to see your eyes flare again, “I would love you no matter how you looked, but you’re a far cry from hideous yourself.”
You look taken aback by this news as well. Remus is half tempted to find you a mirror.
Then you ask, voice soft as down feathers, “You love me?”
Something in Remus’ chest goes all warm and mushy. “I do,” he says sincerely. “I love you so much, sweetheart, sometimes I don’t know what to do with it all.”
You smile until your eyelashes kiss, and he can’t resist cupping your face again, smoothing his thumb along the skin of your cheek.
“So that’s why you’re here?” you ask.
“Well,” he hesitates, “yes, but I’m also here because I work here.”
Your eyebrows raise. Your gaze dips to his white coat as if remembering it for the first time in a while. “Oh. You’re a doctor and my boyfriend?”
“That’s right.” He squints at you amusedly. “Did you think I just snuck in here in a white coat so I could see you?”
“My boyfriend is a doctor.” You don’t seem to be talking to anyone in particular, perhaps just asking the universe for confirmation.
Remus decides to get back to business. “Right again, dove. I think it’s about time we get you to your room, yeah? Anything else I can do for you, anything you need?”
“Nope.” You lay your head back on the pillow, looking somehow more dazed than when he’d come in. “I think I’m set. Like, probably for life.”

ᰔ what really matters !
pairing : dean winchester x fem!reader warnings : shy!reader, crazy overthinking, friends to lovers, insecurities, implied anxiety, crying, hurt / comfort, jealousy, kiss, dean flirts w other people to show off, happy ending, size diff wc : 6.5k a/n : currently working on a part 2!
it was supposed to be a simple salt-and-burn. sam had found a lead on a restless spirit haunting a small-town diner, and dean, ever eager for some pie and action, had jumped at the opportunity. you’d tagged along, like always, quietly sitting in the back seat of the impala, offering occasional input between the brothers’ banter.
the plan was clear: investigate during the day, torch the bones at night. simple enough. yet somehow, being in close proximity to dean for an extended period always felt anything but simple.
“you’ve been awfully quiet back there,” dean said, turning slightly in the driver’s seat to glance at you. his green eyes lingered a moment too long, forcing him to correct the car’s steering. “everything good?”
you nodded quickly, avoiding his gaze. “yeah, just… thinking.”
“uh-oh,” he teased, a grin tugging at his lips. “are you thinking weird again? i told you, sweetheart, you don’t need to do that with us. leave the worrying to sammy.”
sam huffed from the passenger seat. “thanks for that, dean.”
you offered a small smile, unsure how to respond. dean’s words felt warm, like a blanket, but your mind couldn’t stop picking them apart. was he teasing, or did he mean it? did he think you worried too much? was it annoying?
you shook the thoughts away as the car rolled to a stop in front of the diner.
inside, the place was charming in that worn-down, small-town way. red vinyl booths, a jukebox in the corner, and a waitress who seemed to know everyone’s name. dean leaned against the counter, his usual swagger on full display.
“so, martha,” he said, flashing the waitress a smile that could’ve melted butter, “anything weird going on around here lately? cold spots, flickering lights, mysterious whispers…?”
you hovered awkwardly near sam, feeling out of place. martha’s eyes sparkled as she leaned closer to dean, completely ignoring you and sam.
“oh, weird stuff always happens around here,” she said with a giggle. “but nothing too scary. why, you boys hunting ghosts or something?”
dean chuckled. “or something.”
you shifted on your feet, pretending to study the menu even though you weren’t planning on ordering anything. dean’s charm was undeniable, and you’d seen him use it a million times to get information, but it always left you with a strange, hollow feeling.
not that it mattered. it wasn’t like he meant anything by it.
“you alright?” sam asked softly, pulling you from your thoughts.
“yeah,” you lied. “just tired.”
sam didn’t look convinced, but he didn’t push.
the rest of the afternoon passed in a blur of questions and notes. martha had mentioned a former cook who’d died on the job and hinted at some unusual occurrences in the kitchen, which gave you all a solid lead.
“we’ll dig up his records, find the grave, and salt-and-burn tonight,” sam said as you walked back to the car.
“easy peasy,” dean added, slinging an arm around your shoulders as he held the door open for you. “see, this is why you keep us around. all the hard work, none of the worrying.”
your heart jumped at the casual contact, but you forced yourself to focus. it didn’t mean anything. he was just being dean.
the graveyard was damp and cold by the time you arrived. armed with shovels, salt, and gasoline, you worked as quickly as possible, trying not to draw attention.
“you’re sure this is the right spot?” you asked, glancing at the headstone.
“positive,” sam said. “records match up.”
“don’t worry,” dean said with a wink, “we’ve got this.”
you weren’t sure how he managed to be so confident all the time. it was like he didn’t feel fear, or at least he never showed it. you, on the other hand, couldn’t stop thinking about what might go wrong. as the brothers dug, you stayed on lookout, flashlight in hand. the woods were eerily quiet, every rustle of leaves setting your nerves on edge.
“hey,” dean called, his voice pulling you out of your thoughts. “you good over there, sweetheart?”
you nodded, gripping the flashlight tighter. “yeah, just keeping watch.”
“you’re cute when you’re focused, you know that?” he said, grinning as he tossed another shovelful of dirt aside.
your face burned, and you quickly turned away, pretending to scan the trees. cute? he probably didn’t mean it. he said stuff like that all the time.
still, the word echoed in your mind, making it hard to think straight.
the ghost showed up right on cue, just as dean and sam hit the coffin. it was a tall, shadowy figure with glowing eyes, and boy did it move fast. too fast.
“stay back!” dean shouted, stepping in front of you as the spirit lunged.
sam was already throwing salt and iron, keeping it at bay while dean lit the match and dropped it into the open grave. flames roared to life, and the ghost let out an ear-splitting scream before vanishing.
you stood frozen, heart pounding as the grave smoldered.
“you okay?” dean asked, turning to you. his hands landed on your shoulders, steady and warm.
you nodded, your voice stuck in your throat.
“you sure?” he pressed, his green eyes scanning your face.
“yeah, i’m fine,” you managed to whisper, hoping the fear in your eyes wasn’t too obvious.
he didn’t look convinced but let it go, giving you a reassuring squeeze before stepping back.
the ride back to the motel was quiet, exhaustion settling over the group.
“not bad for a day’s work,” dean said, trying to lighten the mood.
you offered a small smile, but your mind was still racing. every little thing he said, every glance, every touch — it all felt so significant, and yet it probably meant nothing to him.
“you’re thinking too much again,” dean teased, catching your eye in the rearview mirror. “what’d i tell you about that?”
“it’s nothing,” you said quickly, hoping he’d drop it.
but dean being dean, he didn’t.
“come on,” he said, turning in his seat to face you. “spill it. what’s going on in that pretty head of yours?”
you froze, unsure how to respond. sam shot you a sympathetic look but didn’t intervene.
“seriously,” dean pressed, his voice softer now. “are you good?”
you nodded, forcing a smile. “yeah, ‘m just tired.”
he studied you for a moment, his expression unreadable, before turning back to the road.
back at the motel, you retreated to your room as quickly as possible, needing space to breathe.
dean had always been a little too much — too loud, too charming, too... everything. and yet, you couldn’t help but feel drawn to him, even if you knew it was hopeless. you sighed, flopping onto the bed and staring at the ceiling.
somewhere in the room next door, dean was probably cracking jokes with sam, completely unaware of the chaos he caused in your mind.
it was fine. it had to be fine.
because as much as you wanted to believe he saw you as more than a friend, you couldn’t risk getting your hopes up.
the day started like any other, with sam at the laptop, you poring over your notes, and dean bustling around with an air of restless energy.
“coffee?” dean asked, holding up a cup for you.
you nodded, offering a small smile. “thanks.”
he plopped down beside you at the motel table, his knee bumping yours. “so, what’s the game plan today, professor?”
“um…” you hesitated, flipping through the notebook in front of you. “so, i think we should — ”
“let me guess,” dean interrupted with a grin. “the safest, most boring route possible, right?”
you blinked, taking a second to process what he’d just said, hurt surely beginning to form in your features.
“it’s not boring,” you mumbled.
“sure thing… but hey, relax!” he said, patting your shoulder. “you’re good at what you do, even if you’re a little… well, a lot predictable.”
your stomach twisted. predictable? was that how he saw you?
“thanks, dean,” you muttered, staring down at your notes to hide the burn in your cheeks. sam noticed though. sam always noticed.
sam shot dean a look from across the room. “hey, maybe ease up a little, man.”
“what?” dean said, shrugging him off, a deep chuckle reverberating from his chest. “i’m just messing with her.”
the lighthearted tone didn’t soften the sting. you knew dean teased everyone, but his words stuck like a burr under your skin, refusing to let go.
soon after, the three of you piled into the impala, the rumble of the engine filling the silence as dean cranked up the radio. you stared out the window, letting the music blur into background noise while your mind replayed the conversation from earlier.
predictable. you thought, the word echoing in your head.
you weren’t mad at dean — how could you be? he didn’t mean anything by it. but the overthinking wouldn’t let up, weaving a web of doubt and insecurity that clung to you like static.
“you okay?” sam asked from the front seat, glancing back at you.
you forced a smile. “yeah. just tired.”
sam didn’t press, but his concerned expression lingered.
the diner was bustling with mid-morning activity when you arrived, the smell of coffee and sizzling bacon wrapping around you like a comforting blanket. you slid into the booth, hoping the noise would drown out your thoughts.
“what can i get ya?” the waitress asked, her voice cheerful as she slid the menus across the table.
“just a coffee, please,” you said quickly, barely looking up as your fingers fumbled over the paper.
“and a stack of pancakes,” dean added, leaning forward and giving her a grin that was just a little too easy. “extra syrup. gotta start the day off right, y’know?”
the waitress’s eyes lit up, and she laughed, her attention lingering on dean as she jotted down the order. there was something almost playful in the way she looked at him, an expression that made your chest tighten.
“you sure know how to charm, don’t ya?” she teased, her voice warm and full of flirtation.
“what can i say?” dean replied, that easy smirk tugging at his lips. “comes pretty easily when i’m speaking to women like you.”
you forced your eyes back to the menu, though you couldn’t stop yourself from glancing at the way the waitress’s fingers lingered on the pen, her attention still fixed on dean. the two of them seemed to be in a world of their own, and you were just... here. watching. waiting.
“what about you, sweetheart?” the waitress turned to you, her smile softening just slightly, though it didn’t reach her eyes.
“uh, just coffee, please,” you mumbled again, feeling heat crawl up your neck. your voice felt small in the noise of the diner, a whisper lost among the clatter of plates and low hum of conversation.
“gotcha,” she said, giving you a brief, almost dismissive nod before turning and making her way to the kitchen. you could still feel her attention on you, like an echo, but this time, it was empty, no warmth behind it.
dean shifted beside you, leaning back and letting out a low chuckle. “she’s got quite the smile, huh?” his eyes were teasing, his grin crooked as he looked over at you and sam. the joke was light, but there was an edge to it that made you feel off balance.
you forced a laugh, but it came out hollow, cracking under the weight of the moment. “yeah, sure,” you said, keeping your eyes fixed on the coffee cup in front of you, the porcelain cool and solid beneath your fingertips.
“you okay?” sam’s voice broke through the silence once again. dean’s teasing slipping away as his eyes studied you too. there was a flicker of concern in them, but before you could let yourself get lost in it, he added, “didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable, sweetheart. it’s just... that kind of smile, you know?”
the question hung in the air, and you couldn’t tell if he was talking about the waitress or you. but the sharp sting of jealousy you felt at the thought made your throat tighten. you forced a smile, though it felt like a lie. “i’m fine. just... not hungry, that’s all.”
“you sure?” he pressed, his expression softening as he reached for his coffee. the playful energy had faded, and now there was something else, a vulnerability that felt rare for him.
“yeah,” you said, voice quiet. “just... never mind.”
he leaned back, eyes still on you, but this time, there was a shadow in them, a shift that made your heart twist. he looked away, watching the waitress as she came back with a smile that was just for him. his eyes softened, and he laughed as she spoke to him, teasing and warm.
it was almost too much, the way he could be so effortlessly charming. your chest ached with the realization that the way he looked at her was the same way he looked at you sometimes, though it felt different when it was just the two of you, alone in the dim light of the bunker.
by the time the food arrived, your appetite had disappeared. dean was still chatting with the waitress every time she came by, his voice low and easy in a way that made your chest ache.
you stared at your coffee cup, your fingers tightening around it as your thoughts spiraled. was this what dean wanted? someone confident, flirty, and self-assured? someone like her?
the sting of earlier comments layered on top, building a weight that felt impossible to carry.
“you sure you’re okay?” sam asked again softly, his voice cutting through the haze.
“fine,” you said quickly, blinking back the tears that threatened to spill over.
sam’s brow furrowed, but he didn’t push.
dean, oblivious, kept talking. “man, this coffee’s strong enough to put hair on your chest. might wanna ease up, professor,” he teased, nudging you lightly.
that was it. the dam broke.
you barely registered standing up, the chair scraping loudly against the floor.
“excuse me,” you muttered, your voice shaking.
you hurried out of the diner, your chest tight and your vision blurred.
sam found you a few minutes later, sitting on a bench just outside. he didn’t say anything at first, just sat down beside you and offered a quiet, grounding presence.
“you wanna tell me what’s going on?” he asked eventually, his tone careful.
you shook your head, unable to form the words.
“okay,” he said gently. “you don’t have to talk. just breathe.”
his arm slipped around your shoulders, pulling you close. the dam fully burst then, tears streaming down your face as you buried your head in your hands.
sam held you, his voice low and steady. “you’re alright. just let it out.”
his hand alternating between rubbing soothing circles on your back and tapping you lightly to the beat of your heart, the steady motions helping to calm the blur.
“‘m sorry, sam,” you choked out between sobs.
“don’t apologize,” sam said firmly. “you don’t even owe anyone an explanation. especially not dean.”
you flinched at the mention of his name, fresh waves of doubt and embarrassment washing over you.
sam seemed to sense it, his tone softening even more. “he doesn’t mean half the crap he says, you know. he’s just… dean.”
you managed a shaky nod, though the knot in your chest didn’t fully ease.
“hey,” sam said, tipping your chin up to look at him. “you’re okay.”
he pressed a light kiss to your forehead, the gesture warm and comforting in a way that made you tear up all over again. sam had always had a way of calming you down, knowing what was wrong and when. you were very similar in lots of ways.
inside, dean sat in the booth, fidgeting with his coffee cup.
“where’d they go?” the waitress asked, dropping off the check.
“outside,” dean muttered, his gaze fixed on the window.
he watched as sam wrapped you in a hug, his jaw tightening.
“everything okay with your girl?” the waitress asked, her tone light.
“she’s not my girl,” dean said quickly, his voice a little sharper than he intended.
the waitress raised an eyebrow but didn’t push further, the hint of a smile ghosting over her features.
dean sighed, running a hand through his hair. he hadn’t meant to upset you — he never did — but the sight of you crying, with sam comforting you, made something twist in his chest. he threw some cash on the table and stood, his mind racing with a mix of guilt and something else he couldn’t quite name. jealousy, maybe?
he pushed the thought aside, heading toward the door.
“dean?” sam’s voice cut through the noise of the diner.
dean turned, finding his brother standing outside the far doorway, his arm still draped protectively around you.
“give her a minute,” sam said, his expression firm.
dean nodded, swallowing hard as he watched you lean into sam’s side.
he retreated back and stood in the doorway of the diner, his boots scuffing against the floor as he watched you outside with sam. his jaw ticked, the familiar burn of guilt twisting in his chest.
you’d looked so hurt when you bolted. he hadn’t meant to upset you — hell, he rarely thought before he spoke, but he hated that his careless words had made you cry.
and then there was sam, playing the role of the comforter, his arm draped around you like it was the most natural thing in the world.
dean hated how that made him feel. jealousy wasn’t a look he liked wearing, but damn if it wasn’t fitting him like a glove right now. he shoved his hands into his pockets, staring down at the worn linoleum. when sam finally walked you back in, dean forced himself to meet your eyes.
you glanced at him briefly, your cheeks blotchy and red, before dropping your gaze to the floor. the pang in his chest deepened.
sam gave him a pointed look, one that said, don’t screw this up, before gently nudging you toward the booth.
you slid in first, keeping as much distance between you and dean as possible.
“hey,” dean started, his voice uncharacteristically soft. “you okay?”
“i’m fine,” you murmured, not looking up.
the waitress returned, her cheerfulness only adding to the tension at the table.
“ready for the check?” she asked, glancing between the three of you.
“yeah, we’re done,” dean said gruffly, tossing some cash onto the table without counting it. “keep the change.”
the waitress hesitated, her gaze lingering on dean for a second too long before she turned and walked away.
sam cleared his throat. “we should probably hit the road.”
“yeah,” dean muttered, sliding out of the booth.
the ride back to the motel was quieter than it had ever been. the only sound was the low hum of the engine and the occasional rustle of paper as sam reviewed the hunt notes. dean kept glancing at you in the rearview mirror, but you didn’t notice. you were too busy staring out the window, your fingers twisting nervously in your lap.
“so,” sam said awkwardly, breaking the silence, “any ideas on how we’re gonna track this thing down?”
dean grunted. “same as always. follow the trail, kill the thing.”
sam shot him a look but didn’t press further.
you stayed quiet, your thoughts miles away.
back at the motel, you retreated to your room almost immediately, mumbling something about needing to check your notes. dean and sam both watched you go, the motel door clicking shut behind you.
dean’s jaw tightened as the guilt settled deeper in his chest. he wasn’t used to feeling like this — so unsure, so aware of every single way he’d messed up. he rubbed a hand over his face, frustration building as he stared at the floor. he could feel sam's eyes on him, the tension thick in the air. he didn’t know how to fix it, and that made everything worse.
“dean, what the fuck? that shit you pulled at the diner… it doesn’t impress her you know. flirting with other people. christ.” sam said, his voice getting louder with every word, visibly stressing out. evidently, he’d been holding that in for a while now, waiting to get dean alone.
“i know i fucked up. okay, sam, i know.” dean snapped back.
“you’re gonna talk to her, right? you better.” sam asked, leaning against the kitchenette counter.
“yeah,” dean muttered, running a hand through his hair. “just… give me a minute.”
you didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but the thin motel walls didn’t leave much to the imagination.
hearing dean pacing and muttering under his breath made your stomach twist. you couldn’t make out the words, but it didn’t take a genius to figure out he was talking about you. the familiar voice of self-doubt crept in, louder than ever.
he’s probably frustrated with me. i overreacted. i always overreact.
you sank onto the edge of the bed, burying your face in your hands.
dean knocked on your door a little later, his knuckles rapping softly against the wood.
“hey,” he called, his voice hesitant. “you busy?”
you hesitated, then opened the door a crack. “no.”
he stood there, looking uncharacteristically unsure of himself.
“can we talk?” he asked.
you nodded, stepping aside to let him in.
he glanced around the room, his hands shoved deep in his pockets. “listen,” he started, “about earlier…”
you shifted nervously, not meeting his eyes.
“i’m sorry,” he said, his voice low. “i didn’t mean to upset you. i was just… being a bit of an idiot, like usual.”
you looked up at him then, surprised by the sincerity in his tone.
“you didn’t do anything wrong,” you said quietly.
“yeah, i did,” he admitted, his green eyes locking onto yours. “i was an ass, and you didn’t deserve that.”
the honesty in his voice made your chest ache.
“it’s okay,” you said, though you weren’t entirely sure you believed it.
“it’s not,” dean insisted. “you’re… you’re important to me. and the last thing i want is to make you feel like crap.”
your breath hitched at his words, the weight of them settling over you like a warm blanket.
“thank you,” you whispered, your voice barely audible.
he took a step closer, his gaze searching yours. “are we okay?”
you nodded, a small smile tugging at your lips.
“good,” he said, the tension in his shoulders easing.
he seemed to hesitate a little before taking another step closer, looking down at you as he seemed to study your expression. he smiled once again, a big cheesy dean smile and then after he seemed to contemplate what to do he turned on his heel after planting a soft kiss on your head. as he turned to leave, you couldn’t help but wonder if you’d just imagined the way his eyes lingered on you, soft and full of something you couldn’t quite name.
inside his own room, dean collapsed onto the bed with a groan. he stared at the ceiling, replaying everything over in his head.
he’d apologized, sure, but it didn’t feel like enough. not when you’d looked so… defeated. for one of the first times in his life he felt awkward, he hoped you hadn’t thought too much of the kiss, however short lived. his chest tightened at the memory of your tear-streaked face in the diner. it was like a punch to the gut every time he thought about it.
“damn it,” he muttered, scrubbing a hand down his face.
he hated this. hated feeling like he was losing his grip on something that mattered so much to him. because you did matter — to him, more than you probably knew. and that was the problem. he wasn’t sure how to show you without screwing it up further.
the tension you thought was resolved seemed to linger between you and dean the next day, hanging over the group like a storm cloud. sam did his best to fill the silence, but it was clear neither of you were really in the mood to talk.
“i’ll check out the library,” sam said finally, grabbing his bag. “you two stay here, see if you can dig up anything online.”
dean nodded, not meeting your eyes as sam left. the door clicked shut, leaving the two of you alone.
“you want the laptop?” dean asked, his voice gruff.
you nodded, taking it from him without a word.
he sighed, leaning back in his chair. “look, i don’t know how many more times i can say i’m sorry, but — ”
“you don’t have to keep apologizing,” you interrupted, your voice softer than you intended. a stark contrast to his.
he blinked, caught off guard. “i just… i hate that i made you feel like that.”
you glanced at him, your heart aching at the genuine regret in his eyes.
“it’s okay, dean. you’ve already said sorry, i thought that was it,” you said, even though part of you wasn’t sure it really was.
he nodded, his jaw tightening as he looked away.
that night, dean stood outside your door again, debating whether or not to knock. he hated this distance between you two, hated feeling like he was walking on eggshells. but most of all, he hated that he didn’t know how to fix it.
finally, he knocked, his heart pounding in his chest.
“come in,” you called softly.
he opened the door, hesitating in the doorway.
“hey,” he said, his voice quiet. “you doing okay?”
you nodded, though the tightness in your chest said otherwise.
he stepped inside, closing the door behind him.
“look,” he started, running a hand through his hair, “i know i’m not great at this kind of thing, but… i care about you. more than i probably should.”
your breath caught, his words hitting you like a freight train.
“dean, i…”
he held up a hand, cutting you off. “just… let me say this, okay? i care about you, and i hate seeing you upset. especially if it’s because of me.”
you swallowed hard, your chest tightening as you fought back tears.
“you’re not just a friend to me,” he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
your heart skipped a beat, his words sinking in. what could he mean by that? what you’d always wished he felt for you?
“dean,” you said softly, your voice trembling, “you mean a lot to me too.”
he looked at you, his green eyes filled with something you couldn’t quite name.
“so… are we good?” he asked, his voice laced with uncertainty.
you nodded, a small smile breaking through the tension.
“yeah,” you said, your voice steadier this time.
he smiled back, the tension in his shoulders finally easing fully. and for the first time in days, things between you felt like they might actually be okay.
you weren’t sure how it happened, but somehow you and dean ended up crammed together in the tiny motel room armchair, your knees brushing his and his warmth radiating off him like a furnace.
sam had taken off to follow a lead, leaving you and dean to man the research front. but the computer battery had died, the coffee had gone cold, and now you were both lazily flipping through books neither of you were really reading.
dean tilted his head, watching you as you squinted at the small print. “you always make that face when you read?”
“what face?” you asked, looking up at him.
“that cute little scrunched-up thing,” he said, a teasing grin spreading across his face.
your stomach flipped, and you ducked your head, suddenly very interested in the book in your lap. “i don’t scrunch my face.”
“yeah, you do,” he said, leaning closer. “like this.”
he exaggerated a dramatic squint, furrowing his brow and twisting his mouth into something ridiculous.
you couldn’t help it — you giggled, the sound soft and bubbling out of you before you could stop it.
dean grinned wider, clearly pleased with himself. “there it is,” he said, his voice warm.
for a moment, everything felt easy, natural, like the awkwardness and tension of the past few days had melted away. but then your eyes caught the faint smear of grease on his hand, and your mind drifted.
you thought back to the first time you’d realized you had a crush on dean winchester.
it had been a quiet night in the bunker, just the two of you tinkering with the impala. he’d handed you a wrench, his hand brushing yours, and you’d felt it — a spark, like a live wire connecting the two of you.
he’d smiled at you then, soft and genuine, and it had made your heart race.
you’d brushed it off at first, chalking it up to admiration or something equally benign. but the more time you spent with him, the more you realized it was something else entirely.
you’d fallen for him — hard.
and it wasn’t just his looks, though you’d be lying if you said those green eyes and that cocky grin didn’t make your knees weak. it was everything about him: the way he protected the people he cared about, the way he laughed, the way he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders and still managed to crack a joke.
but he’d never see you that way. how could he? you were just… you.
and then there was the size difference. it wasn’t something you normally thought about, but around dean, it was impossible to ignore. he was tall, broad-shouldered, and solid in a way that made you feel both safe and utterly self-conscious.
you, on the other hand, felt small in comparison — too small, too quiet, too unsure of yourself to ever catch his attention.
“hey,” dean said, his voice pulling you out of your thoughts. “you good?”
“yeah,” you said quickly, forcing a smile.
“you sure? you spaced out there for a second.”
“just tired,” you lied.
he didn’t look convinced, but he let it go, leaning back in the chair and stretching his legs out in front of him.
dean wasn’t immune to overthinking either, though he’d never admit it out loud. he’d had a thing for you for what felt like forever, but he’d always convinced himself it was a bad idea.
you were shy, sweet, and way too good for someone like him. besides, he didn’t want to scare you off — not when having you around was one of the few things that made the job bearable.
so he kept his feelings to himself, content to just be your friend, even if it killed him a little every time you smiled at him like he hung the moon.
but there were moments — moments like now, with you sitting so close, your leg brushing his and your eyes darting to his every so often — that made it damn near impossible to keep his cool.
“you know,” he said, his voice low, “you don’t have to keep everything to yourself.”
you blinked at him, caught off guard. “what do you mean?”
“i mean… you can talk to me,” he said, his gaze steady. “about anything.”
your heart squeezed at the sincerity in his voice.
“i know,” you said softly.
he smiled at that, a small, lopsided grin that made your chest feel warm.
“good,” he said, leaning forward slightly.
the proximity made your breath hitch, your eyes locking onto his for a moment that felt like it stretched on forever. but then the moment passed, and he leaned back again, running a hand through his hair.
later that night, as you lay in bed staring at the ceiling, your thoughts wandered again.
you thought about all the little things dean did — how he always walked on the side closest to traffic, how he made sure you ate on hunts, how he was quick to tease but just as quick to defend you if anyone else tried.
he cared about you. you knew that much.
but as a friend, or something more?
the uncertainty gnawed at you, and you rolled onto your side, pulling the blanket tighter around you.
dean wasn’t faring much better. he sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the floor, his mind racing.
he thought about all the times he’d come close to saying something, only to chicken out at the last second.
he thought about the way you’d looked at him earlier, like you were trying to figure him out. he thought about how often he fucked up infront of you, trying to distract himself from his silly crush only to regret it afterwards. and he thought about the way you made him feel — like maybe, just maybe, he wasn’t as broken as he thought he was.
“screw it,” he muttered under his breath, standing up and heading for your door.
a knock at the door pulled you from your thoughts, startling you. you sat up in bed, heart thudding.
“it’s me,” dean’s voice came softly from the other side, muffled but familiar.
“come in,” you said, trying to keep your voice steady.
the door creaked open, and dean stepped inside, his movements careful. he closed the door behind him quietly, as if not wanting to disturb the stillness of the night.
“i couldn’t sleep,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck in that familiar way, his gaze briefly flicking to yours before darting away.
“yeah, me neither,” you murmured, fingers twisting the edge of the blanket draped over your lap.
he hesitated for a moment, standing awkwardly near the door before crossing the room and sitting down on the edge of your bed. the mattress dipped slightly under his weight, and for a moment, neither of you said anything.
finally, dean broke the silence. “so i’ve been thinking,” he started, his voice quiet but deliberate. “about us.”
your stomach flipped, your pulse quickening as his words hung in the air. “us?” you echoed, barely audible.
he nodded, his jaw working like he was trying to find the right words. “you mean a lot to me,” he said finally, his voice rough around the edges. “more than i’ve ever really let on. i regret that.”
your breath caught, your chest tightening at the quiet vulnerability in his tone.
“dean…” you began, but he held up a hand, his eyes meeting yours fully now.
“let me say this,” he said, his voice firm but gentle. “i’ve spent so much time trying to keep things simple, to keep things from getting messy. but with you…” he trailed off, his expression softening as he searched your face. “it’s never been simple. and i wouldn’t want it to be.”
his words hit you like a punch to the gut — raw, honest, and so undeniably him.
“i don’t know if i’m any good at this,” he admitted, his hand brushing yours where it rested on the blanket. the touch was light, almost hesitant, but it sent a shiver up your spine. “but i want to try. if you’ll let me.”
your heart raced, a thousand emotions swirling inside you. “dean, you don’t have to…”
“i want to,” he interrupted, his voice steady. “i care about you. more than i probably should. and i don’t want to keep pretending like that’s not true.”
your hand was fully engulfed in his now. you swallowed hard, his words settling over you like a warm blanket. he looked at you, his green eyes searching yours for any sign of hesitation.
dean’s gaze flickered, his lips parting slightly before he closed them again, his hesitation palpable. his other hand hovered near yours, fingers brushing faintly, the touch so light it was almost imagined. the space between you seemed to shrink on its own, the weight of the moment settling over both of you. his eyes lingered, tracing the lines of your face as if memorizing every detail.
his fingers shifted closer, finally grazing yours with deliberate care. the air grew warmer, each heartbeat louder than the last, as if the world itself held its breath, waiting.
“can i…?” he started, his voice trailing off as he leaned slightly closer, his gaze dropping to your lips before snapping back up to your eyes.
you nodded, unable to find your voice, your chest tight with anticipation.
his hand cupped your cheek gently, his thumb brushing against your skin as he leaned in. his lips met yours softly, testing, like he was afraid to push too far. but when you didn’t pull away, he pressed a little closer, his warmth grounding you.
the moment his lips met yours, the world seemed to tilt. his kiss was slow, deliberate, like he was savoring every second, his hand sliding from your cheek to the back of your neck, pulling you closer. your fingers clutched at his shirt, the fabric bunching beneath your grip as a quiet whimper escaped you.
dean groaned in response, the sound low and rough, reverberating against your lips. it sent a shiver down your spine, your cheeks flushing hotter. his other hand found your waist, firm but gentle, anchoring you to him. his thumb traced the curve of your jaw as he deepened the kiss, his touch igniting something that left you breathless.
when he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against yours, his eyes half-lidded and his breathing slightly uneven.
“i’ve wanted to do that for so damn long,” he confessed, his voice low and filled with something you couldn’t quite name.
“me too,” you whispered, your cheeks flushed and your heart pounding.
he chuckled softly, the sound warm and comforting. “guess we’re both a little stubborn, huh?”
you smiled, a weight lifting off your chest as his words settled into your heart. “maybe just a little.”
dean’s fingers traced the edge of your jaw, his touch lingering as if he wasn’t ready to let go. “you’re fuckin’ awesome, you know that?” he said softly, his voice almost reverent.
you giggled quietly, the sound light and easy. “if i’m fuckin’ awesome, what are you?” you said, mimicking his much deeper voice,
he smirked, his expression softening as he leaned in to press a kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering there for a moment. “just lucky,” he said, his voice filled with a quiet sincerity that made your chest ache in the best way.

Before You Go (18+)
Warnings: romance and everything that come with it, SMUT AT THE END
Notes: thank u lana del rey for giving me this title 🫡 he’s so lana coded. we love our emotionally stunted bbg simon
Kisses with Simon weren’t always as easy as they had become over the years of you being together.
There was a time when Simon wouldn’t even let you touch anything but his hands or his arms. It took coaxing him like a scared animal, gentle words you offered again and again for him to finally take his balaclava off. That was a good night. You can still remember his shakiness, hands that had been so steady taking a life now quivering at the act of being known.
“Just fuckin’ hurry up.” He snapped, but the anger tasted more like fear when it left his mouth.
“You aren’t gonna want-”
The words of self-loathing barely met the air before you’d leaned down, pressing your lips to the corner of his mouth. You held his hand as his breath heaved, not commenting on the way his whole body trembled when your lips finally connected with his.
Then there were kisses of maintenance.
At least, that’s what Ghost thought of them as. Keeping you as his slowly became the most important part of his life, the need to have you weaselled its way into his soul. He had no fucking clue how to how to make sure you stayed. He didn’t even really know why you showed up in the first place, but whatever gods that still thought he was worthy enough had given him you, and he wasn’t going to damage the opportunity.
You were his girl.
But Simon was oblivious to how to keep a woman happy. Yeah, he fucked you raw every chance he could, he beat the shit out of anyone you frowned at, but the gentleness you exuded existed nowhere in himself.
It was only when he’d been cleaning his guns, not on the kitchen table because you didn’t like that, that he got a little spark of understanding.
He had to take care of you.
Never letting you go without a reminder that he was always around. It started with morning and night kisses, making sure you were stuck with the taste of him even in your dreams. He’d find you when you were cooking, pressing his lips to your cheek or the top of your head without saying a word. It was nothing intense, just a subtle way that he made sure you were real.
“Si? You okay?” The weight of Ghost hugging you from behind made your heart warm, and you put down the wooden spoon you were holding.
“Yeah.” A kiss to your temple. “M’okay now.”
Marking you up with hickeys that even one of your oversized hoodies couldn’t cover was his way of maintaining your relationship, and knowing you had a visible memento of his claim on you every time you looked in the mirror helped him feel a little more secure.
And then there were the fervent kisses.
Lips colliding in the dim, warm light of your bedroom, Simon’s large hands holding your hips down as he kept you on his lap. He’d swallow every sound you made, knowing he had to leave in the morning. Not being able to see you for months, or even longer, spurred him with the urge to leave you with a lasting memory. He could have you forget him when he was gone.
It didn’t matter if you were tired, he’d force you down onto the bed, drawing mewls and gasps from your lips as he tried to memorize every detail of your body before he went off on his next mission. Latching his lips to the inside of your thighs, he’d suck hard enough to leave a hickey that would take weeks to fade.
“Not gonna leave ya.” He’d echo, kissing your clit like it would offer some form of protection for wherever he was being sent to.
“Gonna keep you all t’myself.” His soft lips would kiss at your even softer cunt, devouring every twitch and shudder that went through you. “Si. Si, I can’t-”
It didn’t matter if you’d been up all night, trapped under the weight of his hands while he ate you without faltering. “You can take it. C’mon, dovie, be a good girl an’ give me one more.” He wouldn’t stop until you were limp on the sheets and he was nose deep in your pussy, permanently engraving his name on your clit with his tongue.
And when he left in the morning, he left knowing your lips were sore.

"I can't risk losing you again" is such an open-ended prompt. There is a lot you can do with that. I hope my humble offering is enough. I certainly went more angst than fluff on this one, but I really do love sad things with twinges of hope thrown in.

Simon "Ghost" Riley
Busted door. Shattered glass. Overturned table.
The lights aren’t working and rain enters through the open patio door. You are safe and whole and far from this. But is it enough? Will Simon be able to keep you safe?
What was once doubt is now cold truth.
It’s not your trashed home but the state Simon found you in. It was your heavy-lidded eyes and bruised face. It was the pools of red that Simon didn’t know belonged to you, the dead man facedown in the carpet, or both. It was your smile of relief when you realized it was Simon drawing you into his arms.
Simon knows the man who did this—no. He knows who fucking ordered it.
And when he finds Makarov, he’ll show that fucker just how trigger-hungry he can be. The lead will burst and fuse to his lungs, and Simon will bathe in the aftermath.
All that’s left is your safety. If Simon knew that his career would lead to this, he would have taken steps to protect you years ago. You are always his one bright spot, that candle in the dark that is his life.
With you, he became more than his trauma. More than his guilt. More than his past. With you, he found peace. He found happiness. You are the sugary candy that sticks in the teeth but is too addictive to give up.
Departing is agony. The return is his reward and his longing.
You are everything.
And that is why he let you go.
Why he said, “I can’t risk losing you again.”
He put his head in your lap, his fingers digging into the sides of your thighs and failed to push down the tears.
Laswell will take you far away. She will keep you somewhere safe.
Makarov won’t find you.
And maybe—perhaps in the future—Simon can return to you.
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
Kyle is a nervous wreck.
The tiny box sits heavy in his pocket, burning an invisible hole. His plan is not the most romantic, but the two of you aren’t the type to go big. It’s all subtle, and Kyle only wants this moment to include the two of you.
This is his last chance.
Kyle’s final opportunity.
In this relationship, Kyle has kept you second. Not on purpose but out of habit. Work is his lifeblood. It drives him, and every successful mission is a point of pride. But in keeping up with that, Kyle left you behind.
His absences lengthened, and over time, he noticed you were pulling away, closing off. But that isn’t your fault. Kyle created the perfect brew for you to drink. These are the consequences of his actions, and he needs to make it right.
There was a time when Kyle nearly did lose you. When he came home and thought you had packed up and left without saying a word. That broke him. Made him realize just how distant he’d become.
Change is difficult.
But Kyle did it. Slowly.
Your smile returned, and when he comes home, your greetings are full of passion.
I can’t risk losing you again.
Kyle takes a deep breath as the deadbolt on the front door disengages. There is a slight tremble in his hands. Kyle is never nervous. Never. But fuck—taking this next step is driving him up the goddamn wall.
He pushes off from the couch, turning just as the front door swings open.
You step inside, face turned away as you go to shut the door. When you finally glance into the room, all the nervousness inside Kyle’s chest evaporates.
Your smile is so sweet, and you don’t hesitate. Dropping your bag, you rush toward him, and Kyle cannot help but meet you halfway.
He’s making the right choice in asking you to stay with him forever.
John Price
“You’re not happy.”
John is happy. He is. But old worries bubble up, seeping into the joy. It’s tainting everything, and that is clear by how your smile starts to fade.
“I am happy,” he says, but his mouth is a hard line. John knows he’s frowning.
You shake your head, one hand resting over your stomach. “Don’t lie, John.”
This is supposed to be a happy moment. He should sweep you up in his arms. He should kiss you until you’re begging for air. But all John can think about are all the doctor appointments he attended with you, and the grimness of what might not happen.
From that came a daughter. John loves her. Adores her. But bringing her into the world nearly killed you. He grappled with that stress while being as present as possible with you. Growing your family has always been a dream, and John doesn’t fault you for a second. There is no family without you.
John grasps the sides of your face and moves into your space. Your own hands close over his, keeping him from retreat.
“I am happy,” he reiterates. “But we both know what it took to bring our daughter into the world.” John shakes his head absently and breathes deep. “Don’t do this for me.”
“John—”
“I can’t risk losing you again.”
This time, your smile returns. There is a hint of sadness lingering behind it, as if you too are reflecting on all that happened.
“Everything will be fine.” You release his hand and gently cup his cheek.
John kisses your forehead, his thumb absently tracing your jaw. “Are you sure?”
The decision is ultimately yours, and John will respect whatever you decide.
“I’m sure.”
“Okay,” he nods.
John pulls you in, lips finding yours. When you melt into him, accepting all that he’s giving, a wave of peace settles over him.
This is right.
And whatever happens, the two of you will face it together.
John "Soap" MacTavish
Johnny drips water all over the floor. He is soaked through. Shivering. But he could give a fuck.
“Where is she?”
“Soap—”
“Where the fuck is she, Price?”
Captain Price sighs heavily and crosses his arms. “She needs rest.”
Johnny swallows down his retort. He’s not upset with Price, and shit like this happens all the time, but he needs to know if you’re okay.
You took a fucking bad fall, and Johnny couldn’t stop to run after you. The mission comes first, and it wasn’t his job. Other people stepped in and whisked you away. But from the height you plummeted from, Johnny feared the worst.
Still does to an extent.
If you were dead, Price wouldn’t hide that from him. But he might hide how bad you’re injured as a way to protect him. Price has always been fatherly in that regard. Right now, it’s driving Johnny fucking nuts.
“Captain. Please,” Johnny clenches his fists and then releases them. “Let me see her.”
Price’s frown smooths a bit and the middle of his brow wrinkles with concern. “For a few minutes. All I can spare.”
Johnny has to keep from rushing to the hospital room doorway when the words leave Price’s mouth. He has Johnny walk with him to your door. Thunder rumbles in the distance and rain steadily hits the large window at the far end of the hospital room.
Just as Johnny takes a step inside, Price’s hand is on his shoulder.
“She’ll make it,” is all he says before he shuts the door.
Johnny lingers right inside. All the lights are off except a small lamp in the corner. Your eyes are closed, and your face is peaceful. There is bruising. A few bandages. The machines next to the bed beep softly.
He was so eager—so determined to get to you. Now, Johnny deflates.
On quiet feet, he grabs a chair and brings it over to your bedside. You don’t stir. Simply sleep. Johnny eases down into the chair and leans forward, his forearms crossed as he rests them on the side of the hospital bed.
Still, you don’t move. And Johnny doesn’t dare wake you.
Rest is important, and all he wants is for you to recover.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers. “That I didn’t come sooner.” The rain picks up and Johnny smooths back his wet hair. “But I can’t keep doing this. Every time you’re hurt I—” He sighs heavily and rests his forehead on his crossed arms.
“I can’t risk losing you again,” he murmurs into the bedding.
It’s become too much. You’re not supposed to fuck your coworkers and you shouldn’t fall in love with them either. But Johnny did both. With you. And he cannot take that back.
He’d give anything if you’d set this all aside.
Your fingers brushing against his scalp startle him. Johnny lifts his head, only to find you watching him. There is a soft smile on your lips, and his instinct is to grasp your hand and bring it to his lips, kissing each knuckle and then your palm.
The moment your mouth opens to speak, there is knock at the door. Johnny frowns and looks up, finding Price in the doorway.
“Time’s up.”

That basically sums up my response to seeing the number.
When I slipped onto Tumblz last year I wasn't sure what to expect. To be honest I am still not sure. I figured it is a place to just dump tortol pictures. I like drawing them. I'm happy to see that people enjoy them.
I wasn't sure how things worked at first (and a lot of things I am still unsure of how it works, this site is still really confusing ok) but thank you all so much for your support and interest! Your reblog tags are fun to read and make me cackle a lot at times, especially you repeat offenders. I'm thankful for those I've gotten to talk to and even if I don't talk a whole lot, I appreciate you all and the words you take the time to leave for me.
Of course, this isn't all going to be words.
For the occasion I've decided to do a DTIYS. I've decided to also open it to drabble, because I know a lot of people out there write rather than draw, and I thought it'd be fun to have an open opportunity for either. Of course figuring out a picture that would work for both was tricky, so I hope this suffices!
I decided to go with the Fang!AU for this one since I wanted to draw something closer to the canon. I could not resist doing something silly
Rules! DTIYS or Write something to go with this picture. It doesn't have to be long but if you want to write a novella I certainly won't stop you. XD Please tag me so I can seeeee!
Deadline is the end of December!
I'm not going to do winner placements because I hate choosing but I will definitely do a thing which I will clarify later.
If I forgot anything please forgive me, I still really have no idea what I'm expected to do with these things
Have fun with it! And thank you again for your support! :D

You knew it was childish. You knew it wasn't essential. But you also desperately wanted to feel more comfortable, and was that really such a crime? To want to feel like yourself again? To want to wear clothes that you liked? That fit you properly? Jackson was well stocked with essentials, clothes included, but the clothes the men picked up on patrol were... utilitarian, to say the least. They grabbed the biggest and the warmest clothes so that it afforded more people the opportunity to use them, but you were beginning to grow tired of tucking men's oversized shirts into your pants, the material bunching up at your waist and twisting around as you walked, constantly trying and failing to feel comfortable in your own skin.
You thought Joel would be more open to the idea of heading outside the walls on your day off. You even teased him with the promise of picking up some new underwear, but he didn't fall for it. He fought you tooth and nail the whole evening, his voice lifting over yours angrily to explain how there's been an influx of raiders the past few weeks, that everyone agreed to lay low until they passed through, not wanting to draw attention or pick any unwanted fights. But you persisted. You always did, and you eventually wore him down when you threatened to leave without him.
Why was it such a crime to want to feel comfortable? It was just two people, you could lay low and go unseen, no problem. You've done it countless times before.
You had hoped he would have gotten over it by morning, but you were wrong. He hardly made eye contact with you during breakfast, skirting expertly around you in your kitchen, mumbling under his breath as he sipped his coffee and only shooting you angry looks when your back was turned.
The air was crisp and the woods were peaceful. You thought that would surely turn his mood around. He always appreciated being out with nature, living off the land. As much as he loved living in Jackson, he couldn't deny that part of himself that felt useful, that felt a sense of accomplishment by surviving out in the wild.
"C'mon, are you really gonna act like this all day?" you teased as you held up another shirt against your body before determining it was the right size and then tossed it in a pile with the others.
He was standing at the storefront window with his arms crossed and his jaw clenched. "Don't know what you mean."
You rolled your eyes and looked around the store, spotting a table of underwear with a grin. You lightly skipped over and tossed to the side the pairs that looked far too dusty so you could look at the ones underneath. Clearing your throat, you held up a pair of bright red stain underwear. He turned around and you saw it: it was fast, he hid it well, but you still saw it. That all too familiar excited look in his eye.
"Don't you like them?" you asked with a playful pout. He furrowed his brow at you like he was annoyed, and maybe he was, but you still saw the heat beginning to crawl up his neck.
"They ain't practical."
You gave him a defeated sigh and strolled over to your pile of clothes, your fingertips daintily holding the undergarment out to him. "No? Then what are they?"
His eyes shifted from yours to the red material in your hand and you saw his throat work as he swallowed.
"Useless," he croaked, and you narrowed your eyes at him. You got a little closer, letting the soft fabric glide against the back of his hand when you dropped your arm to your side.
"Oh, yeah?" you said breathily, and you watched his eyelids flutter at your tone. "Then I guess it wouldn't matter if I brought them home and let you rip them off me."
He stepped forward, a growl emitting from his chest, low and deep, when at the exact same time, you both heard shouting outside the store. Swiveling both your heads towards the glass storefront, your blood ran cold when you saw six heavily armed men advancing towards you.
"Shit," he muttered, his arm pulling your shoulder down just in time to avoid the cascade of bullets that rained down upon you. You laid face down on the rough carpet, covering the back of your head with your eyes squeezed shut, waiting for the shooting to stop. Joel tugged on your arm and you opened your eyes in a panic.
"Follow me!" he shouted, army crawling towards the registers, and you dutifully followed behind, your heart racing wildly in your chest.
Once you made it, the counter offering some, but not much, safety, the both of you pulled out your guns and double checked your ammo.
"Alright, when they stop to reload-"
"I know," you said, cutting him off. You've both been in this situation before. You knew what to do.
Holding your rifle upright and against your chest, you breathed deep, trying to steady your hands until the bullets slowed and you heard more shouting. Joel nodded to you and you both sprung up from the floor, pulling your rifles against your bodies in sync and lining up your targets.
Patience is a virtue. The amount of ammunition they wasted on the two of you was laughable when you each caught one of them between the eyes, leaving four against two.
You thought you would be able to get another shot off but Joel tugged your arm and you slinked back to the floor as a shower of bullets rained over you once again.
"You good?" he asked, and you nodded, gasping for air. Your hands began to stabilize when the shock wore off. You were in the zone.
Pressing both your backs against the small counter, you remained calm and waited out your attackers. Glass shards tinkled and scattered behind you. Bullets pinged against the metal shelving, ricocheting into the drywall.
"Assault rifles for two people? Really?" you muttered, more so to yourself, but Joel heard you.
"Told you this was a bad fuckin' idea," he said angrily.
When there was another brief pause, he looked to you again and nodded. At the same time, you rose up and took aim, firing on your attackers once again. Joel made his shot, you didn't. Three down, three to go.
"Fuck," you grumbled, reloading your rifle even though you still had rounds left.
"Focus," he scolded.
The men sounded like they were getting closer. Their voices were louder. Clearer. The shots were deafening. You prayed they weren't inside the store, because you hadn't planned an exit strategy. Without warning, Joel stood up and fired a shot. You heard a man scream and then a loud thud. It sounded like the man was just on the other side of the counter.
"That's not the plan," you seethed at him when he dropped back down next to you.
"Didn't have a choice, he was 'bout to jump us," he sneered.
Two against two.
When the shots slowed down, you held your breath, looking at Joel from the corner of your eye. He held his palm up to you silently, signaling for you to stay where you were. You heard boots crunching slowly against glass and your heart leapt into your throat. They were in the store.
You shot Joel a panicked look but he just shook his head, focusing on their footsteps, calculating how far away they were.
"Come out now and no one gets hurt," a man's deep voice called out. He was close.
Joel clenched his jaw and flared his nostrils. You knew that look. It was the look of a man who was about to do something stupid. But before you could stop him, before you could reach out to him and hold him back, he stood up and took aim.
One shot. That was all you heard when Joel slumped to the floor next to you, clutching his stomach as dark red blood poured from the wound. Your eyes went wide and you saw red. Without thinking, you stood up and shot, taking one of the two men down with a yelp. The remaining raider ducked behind a display, and you dropped your rifle in favor of your handgun. Crouching low to the ground, you inched forward, careful of any broken glass that would give your position away. When you were on the other side of the display, you heard the man's labored breaths. He was scared. He was out of his element. And you had him right where you wanted him.
Silently tucking the gun in the back of your pants, you slid your hunting knife out from your ankle holster. You took a deep breath and lunged forward, driving the knife deep into the man's chest.
He dropped his gun and clutched weakly at your hands, but it was no use. His blood poured from the wound when you yanked your knife out with a grunt, and you watched as his hands slowly slid back down to his sides, his eyes still wide open and staring up at the ceiling.
You smirked, feeling victorious for only a moment before you remembered Joel. Dropping your knife, you rushed back to his side, only to find his face pale and his hands stained dark red.
"Joel!" you cried out, pressing your palms against the wound, hoping to slow the bleeding. His eyes drifted towards you, softening when he saw you were alive and unharmed. That you were going to make it.
Panic consumed you. Your heart was slamming against your ribs as you fumbled with your backpack, trying to find your first aid kit through the tears.
"I love you," he whispered, and you shook your head.
"Don't start with that, you're gonna be fine."
"Baby," he said weakly, and you choked back a sob.
"Hold on," you told him, still searching in your pack.
"Look at me," he said, and your hands stilled for a moment before you dragged your eyes back to him, your lower lip trembling as you took in his deteriorating state.
"I need to-" you began, but stopped to take in a shaky breath. "I need to patch you up and get you to the horses."
"No, you don't," he said softly, and more tears spilled from your eyes.
"Yes, I do. I gotta-"
"I ain't gonna make it, sweetheart," he slurred, and you could see by the amount of blood he was losing that he was right. But still, you pressed your palms against the gunshot wound, your fingers slipping through his thick and sticky blood.
"Don't say that. I can't do this without you," you whimpered, and closed your eyes for a brief moment. You felt his fingertips weakly grip your chin and you forced your eyes back open.
"Yes, you can," he said as firmly as he could. He was so pale and weak and it was making your stomach turn.
You shook your head, about to argue with him, but he stopped you.
"You keep goin', you hear me?" he said, and still, you shook your head from side to side, small sobs slipping past your lips. "Don't let this world win. You... go on and keep fightin'. Please. Be happy, baby. For me."
"No!" you cried out, spittle dripping from your lips now, mixing with your tears. "I won't! I-I can't!"
"You can," he repeated, and gave you a weak smile. "I'm ready, baby. It'll be okay."
You squeezed your eyes shut tight, the tears leaking out, hot and angry on your cheeks as you sobbed over him, clutching his hand in yours so tightly, like if you squeezed hard enough, you could give him your lifeforce. Give him your breath. But moments later, his grip weakened and when you opened your eyes, his head slumped to the side and his lifeless eyes stared off into the distance.
"Joel!" you screamed, sitting up in bed, drenched in sweat with tears still streaming down your face. You looked to your side, where he normally slept, but he wasn't there. Panic squeezed your throat, your chest fucking hurt, but you flung the blankets off you and ran towards the door. Still not hearing any sounds, you raced down the stairs, almost tripping in the process but you had a grip on the railing to keep you steady.
When your eyes finally landed on his familiar form stretched out on the couch, his back to you, you allowed yourself to breathe a sigh of relief.
Reality came back to you now. You had your fight about leaving Jackson, but he won and you slept apart. You never left. He never got shot. It was all just a horrible dream.
You stumbled over to the couch, your tears unstoppable, the nightmare too vivid, too real. Your trembling hands clutched his shoulder as you fell to your knees on the floor, shaking him awake.
"What?" he grumbled, clearly still pissed off about your fight.
"I'm sorry!" you sobbed loudly, and when he realized something was wrong, he whipped around to face you.
"What happened?" he asked, his voice still thick with sleep.
"I-I had-" you began, then you hiccupped, cutting yourself off. His face was etched with concern as he forced himself up and cupped your face.
"C'mon, talk to me," he urged, the fear in his eyes reflecting back to you as you looked at him, still not sure what was real and what wasn't.
"I had a nightmare," you finally managed to get out. "About our fight. That we... we went out like I wanted and-and-" you collapsed into another fit of sobs, your shoulders shaking violently.
"Hey, it's alright," he soothed, pulling you up and into his lap and rubbing your back. You pressed your tear stained face into his neck, inhaling deeply, grounding yourself. He was alive. He was here. Everything was fine.
"I'm sorry," you whimpered, your throat still tight but your tears were slowing down. "I'm sorry we fought. I don't wanna go out anymore. I don't need new clothes, it was stupid, I'm sorry."
"Shh, it's okay," he said, pulling you tightly against his chest, "I'm sorry we fought, too. I just wanna keep us safe."
"I know, you're right," you said, pulling back a bit and wiping your nose with the back of your hand. "Will you come back to bed?"
"Yeah," he replied with half a smirk. "'Course I'll come back to bed, baby. Don't cry, it's alright."
You let him lead you up the stairs and to your bedroom, your side of the bed still damp with sweat but it didn't bother you. Joel was safe and sound and in your arms and you didn't care if you had to wear a potato sack for the rest of your life, as long as you had Joel, nothing else mattered.

If it’s not too much, could I ask for the Love and Deepspace boys who accidentally hurt the (if you could gn) reader’s feelings? (They argued and they were wrong but lashed out either way sorta thing?) if not, completely understandable! Tysm!
The Hurts
Loving someone is giving that person the chance to hurt you and trusting that they will never do so.
🌻 Rafayel/Xavier/Zayne x Reader Tags: gn!reader, hurt/ comfort, angst A/N: I can't see our LIs to be the type to lash out at their loved ones, so I modify the request a bit. Thank you for requesting, anon-san. Hope you enjoy this story.

Loving someone is giving that person the chance to hurt you and trusting that they will never do so.
You had given him so many chances, and what you got in return was being hurt over and over again.
Like sitting on a never-ending roller coaster, that's the feeling when you were with him.
He made you happy, he made you sad. He gave you surprises and he also shattered many of your dreams.
Then, you had enough.
You trudged back home with heavy steps after a difficult mission. Blood drenched your uniform. The blood of Wanderers, and the blood of your comrades. The mission was a complete failure. There were a lot of people injured, and it was completely your fault.
Because you trusted someone who shouldn't have been trusted.
Rafayel was standing on an empty street corner, waiting for you. He knew you would always take the same route home. You were too predictable, that was why he played with you like a toy.
You grit your teeth. You and Rafayel each held one end of the rubber band. But he was always the first to let go.
It hurt, the feeling of being betrayed hurt so much. But you still kept walking. You did not want him to see you miserable like that. You would not give him the opportunity to trample on your feelings and trust anymore.
Rafayel's dark eyes gazed at you. You saw scales sprouting out from his face and neck. That was the day when Lemurians were at their weakest.
Nevertheless, he made the decision to stand here and wait for you to come home. As soon as he had heard the news from his spies, he immediately ran to find you even though he was in his weakest state. You stopped moving when you were just close enough away from him, to look straight into his eyes with full of indignation.
“I will explain everything.” Rafayel spoke up. And he should, but you were sick of it by now.
“That's enough, Rafayel.” You cut him off before he could say anything else. “You've said enough.”
You trusted his intelligence, only to lead your comrades into a trap. He always took advantage of your absolute trust to hurt you and the people you cared about. Especially when there was something related to the Lemurians, he suddenly became a different person. Someone you did not know.
“Your secrets…” You said, “Just keep them to yourself… I think I've had enough of your lies.”
"I did not lie." Rafayel reached out towards you but you backed away. “Everything I told you about that operation was true. I simply…”
“You simply didn't tell me the whole truth.” You said bitterly.
Rafayel withdrew his hand. He appeared so frail that he may pass out at any time at the side of the road. This time, you would not care as much. You would just leave him be.
“You showed concern for me, then you left me alone. You helped me, then pushed me into a trap... What is real, Rafayel? What is the truth that ever comes out of your mouth?”
Rafayel was silent, staring at you with pain. What an excellent performance. You almost believed him, one more time.
“What are you going to do, then? You could kill me with just one blow right now.”
“Don't challenge me.” You threatened with a glare. You hurried past Rafayel, wanting nothing more than to get home and clean off all the blood on your body and calm yourself down. Yet, despite his extreme weakness, he still has the ability to draw you in. Your eyes met his sadness. In an instant, it seemed as though you had descended to the ocean's lowest point.
“You asked me what was true.” He said, his voice shaking. “You may not believe anything else I say… But this, this alone is the truth… I will never, ever let anyone hurt you… I will never lose you again…”
𝑿𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒓
You stood in front of Xavier's house waiting impatiently. As soon as the door opened, you immediately rushed inside without even saying hello.
“Is there anything wrong?” Xavier asked gently, but his innocent look made you even more angry.
“You crossed me out of that mission, didn’t you?” You replied in anger. There were several rolled-up reports in your palm, ready to be torn apart. You aimed it in his direction. “This was originally the mission assigned to me! Why did you request to do it on your own?”
Xavier saw the problem as soon as he glanced at those papers. He tried to explain:
“That mission is too dangerous. I can't let you do it by yourself.”
“Then would it be better if you went alone?”
You gave Xavier a glance. He was trying to calm you down, but every step he took closer you moved further away. You were upset because he decided to enter a risky area without you, maybe endangering his life, and you were unaware of it until everything had been taken care of. Even with you by his side, he carried the weight of everything by himself. You did not want that, because you felt compelled to share everything with him.
"I'm sorry." Xavier was honest with you. “I should have asked you first. I decided on my own because I thought it was the best thing for you.”
“What's best for me?” You retorted. “Do you even know what is good for me? To participate in my own mission, to decide to do things as I wish, or to fight by your side!”
Only silence covered the room. You collapsed into his couch, burrowing your face into your hands. You hated this feeling of helplessness. He took away your right to make decisions, your right to accompany him on this dangerous mission. The thought that he did not need you was so painful.
“You don't believe in me…” You spoke up after a long while. When you looked up, you saw that Xavier was still standing there, looking regretful and helpless because he was unable to touch you at the time. “I thought we were a team. If we're a team, we won't hide missions from each other, we won't sneak around alone behind the other person's back..."
“I'm really sorry. That mission is much more dangerous than area N109. I can't let you risk it.”
“That means if you had to choose again, you would still do the same and hide it from me, right?”
Xavier remained silent, but you already knew the answer.
You did not know what hurt more; Xavier hiding that mission from you, or he not trusting you could complete it?
You got to your feet, looked at Xavier, and proceeded to the door.
"I truly put in a lot of training to be in a team with you. But maybe that's not enough. If you think you can do it all by yourself then so be it, I don't see the need to stay here anymore.”
"Don't." Xavier seized your hand fast to hold you there. “Don't say such things…”
You drew away from him fiercely. Xavier let out a cry and embraced his left chest at that very time.
It appeared like he was hurt. You scowled and extended a hand to touch him.
“Are you injured?”
Xavier tried to smile, but his face gradually turned pale. He took that opportunity to pull you back and wrap an arm around your waist to keep you in place.
“It's only a little cut.”
“How can it be small when you look so painful?”
Xavier struggled to breathe. He replied:
"I'm sorry. Maybe it's true that I couldn't do that task alone. You were right. We are a team, I need you.”
You feel pleased, but still very angry with Xavier. It was because he chose to go alone that he got injured like that.
“From now on, I will definitely not hide anything from you anymore. So… don't leave me alone, okay?”
You were silent for a while, but wrapped your arms around Xavier to hug him. “I have to check your wound first.”
𝒁𝒂𝒚𝒏𝒆
The more you care for someone else, the deeper the wound they cause you.
It had been a month since you could contact him. Just like that, he disappeared, again.
You were frightened. Just like when you were a child, suddenly one day, the friend who used to make snow seals for you disappeared without a trace. No one could hear about him. He had also covertly assigned your monthly health check to another physician without you knowing until you got to the hospital. The last time you had heard about him was when Dr. Greyson told you he were rushing off to the Arctic on urgent business.
How funny it was to learn that from someone other than him. No farewells, no assurances not to worry. And for an entire month, he was absent. Although you didn't have the authority to make him tell you his schedules, at least you wanted to know how long he was going to be gone and whether or not the mission was risky.
You grew more afraid and then angered as you considered him going missing once more. How could he do this to you, after everything you had been through together? Yet he dared to show his face to your house on a rainy night.
When he saw that you were covering yourself from the rain with your jacket, he moved forward to shield you. But you dashed over to the porch. You just looked at him from a distance, but near enough to see that he was alright. After that, you entered and slammed the door in his face.
Not a word was said to each other. He did not even call your name or send a text message. He stood in the pouring rain for a long, long time. You couldn't care less. That night you went to sleep fitfully, and when you woke up the next morning, your auntie neighbor told you that he had just departed a short while after your room's light went out.
You did not try to contact him again. This cold war was initiated by him, so let it be. It was now a week after his return, and you had to go to the hospital for a check-up before an important mission. When you saw the name of the physician assigned to you was Zayne, you requested for another.
Dr. Greyson found you in the waiting area. He asked about your refusal to let Zayne examine your health. Honestly, you could not find any reason to answer that wasn't too personal. So you just sat in silence.
“The first thing Zayne did when he got back was to read your files. He wanted to make sure you were fine while he was gone.”
Dr. Greyson said. You lowered your head and looked down at your clasped hands, experiencing a range of conflicting feelings.
“I don't know what happened between you two, and maybe it's none of my business, but Zayne is a friend, and I need to butt in just this once…”
You looked up at Dr. Greyson.
“Zayne went to the Arctic to seek assistance from his teacher. Things got worse as it became more and more difficult for him to control his Evol. I caught him injuring himself with his Evol. He made the decision to suffer alone until things got in control in order to protect others.”
You were shocked. Zayne had been suffering because of his Evol for the past month without you knowing, while you were blaming him for leaving you.
"Perhaps he refrained from telling you out of concern that you would worry and accompany him there."
The rest of the conversation drifted away. Then you stood up, tried to hold back your tears as you walked to Zayne's office. He sat behind the computer screen, looking up at you with mixed emotions in his eyes, although his face still remained calm.
You entered slowly, noted the scars on his hands. There were fresh cuts that were not yet healed. He must have been very hurt and lonely. What must you do to make him open up to you? What must you do so that you can share the burden with him?
“You… What's wrong?”
As soon as Zayne spoke, you hid your tears by walking towards him in a haste and pulled him into your embrace.
“Please don't go without a word... I won't be able to bear it if you disappear again..."

“the type to…” ; anemo boys
details — he’s really just this type of guy.
characters — heizhou, kazuha, wanderer, venti, and xiao (w/ gender-neutral reader)
tags — fluff, some of them could be platonic of romantic, no type of relationship stated, not proof-read ; headcanons/scenario
words — 1740
note — decided to let go of a longtime friendship (^^)/
;; 🐚
KAZUHA, the type to wake up in the morning before you and instead of waking you up also, he would rather prefer watching you sleep, admiring each of your features and memorizing the lines on your face, burning the memory in his mind. with the sun already rising, sunlight had seeped into the room, gently laying on the floor and your face like spilled honey. his happiness and peace came in the form of you, in the morning as he watches you sleep before you stir and open your eyes, smiling at him as soon as you see him—“why did you not wake me up?” you would say to him and what could he tell you aside from “i love you”?
KAZUHA, the type to kiss you on your forehead as soon as he sees you rouse up from your sleep, spilling warmth from his lips as he greets you, “did you have a good sleep?” with the most gentle of smiles. he seeps affection into your skin, burying into your bones, leaving traces of him in the crevices of your mind. also the type to often get up before you so he could cook breakfast and bring it to you on your bed as soon as you wake up; “how did you sleep, love?”
KAZUHA, the type to be extremely clingy and affectionate; the type to wrap his arms around your waist and hug you from the behind, burying his face on the skin of your neck and letting out a satisfied sigh with his worries dissipating along with it. but double the clinginess when he’s drunk or upset, he’s affectionately drunk in a way that he clings to you like a koala is to a tree and wouldn’t want you leaving his side—immediately grabs you and pulls you back to him when you try to do so. when he’s upset, however, he tends to be silent and would rather just have you hug him and listen to the sound of your heartbeat which puts him at ease.

XIAO, the type who fears for the day where he will yearn for your touch but will never get to feel it again; afraid that he’ll love you forever and will never be able to have you in the same room as him. nothing had made him sadder knowing that one day, he will never see you again. wouldn’t it be weird to say that loving you puts him in such a feeling of grief? he wished he had known you sooner, he wish he was given the opportunity to be by your side earlier, he wished he could have loved you longer than he had known you; “it’s a pleasure to be seen by you.” a mumble, a whisper of confession before a reply came, “thank you for letting yourself be known.”
XIAO, the type to always want to spend time together, whether it’s just in a peaceful moment of tranquility when the two of you are cuddling each other or while you two are doing their own thing while near each other—it’s more like wanting to be by each other’s side more than passing time together. he indulges in the serenity of the silence whenever the moment arrives, it’s like a breath of fresh air, the spring wind that makes the flowers sway and lulls his heart into a gentle rhythm.
XIAO, the type to always hold your hand everywhere, anywhere, even when the two of you are walking, sitting beside or across each other, or whenever the two of you are together in general. the moment he notices the lack of your hand on his, he will take an immediate action to rid of that absence—seeping the warmth of his hand on yours, locking fingers, and giving it a small squeeze. oftentimes, he’ll draw circles on your skin with his thumb. it’s just a subconscious habit that he does whenever he’s way too focused on something. the softness of yours eases his mind and seemingly, all of his problems disappear. there was no solace and meaning in his life but today there was and right now, comfort was found in the lines of your palm and the tenderness of your hand.
;; 🔍
HEIZHOU, the type to make you laugh a lot, a connoisseur of bad jokes, puns, and terrible dad jokes that will never fail to pull a chuckle out of your throat. he has a lot of things to talk to you about, a lot of things to tell you and occupy your ears—he’ll often blurt out trivias that he have discovered, quotes that he have heard and read, and everything. he just tells you so many things, fascinating or anything, and it feels like he’s a walking book of facts and information.
HEIZHOU, the type to notice the smallest things about you. he’s a detective, a man with a sharp mind and keen observation, how could he not notice the way you style your hair a little bit different than usual or the way sadness ghosted over your smile whenever you think of a distant memory—or perhaps it was something along the lines of nostalgia and yearning. he’ll catch on the smallest details of you, etches it in the crevices of his mind and burned in his memory; “isn’t that your favorite color?” he asks, pointing at a flower standing alone in a small patch of grass, and you knit your eyebrows for a moment before turning to look at him, “how did you know?”, which only causes him to shrug, acting as if it was just a lucky guess when it was all because he sees your gaze lingering over a particular shade or noticing the way your features soften at the sight of that particular hue.
HEIZHOU, he always seems to look after you, always there when you’re about to trip and fall, always there to open the jar that is sealed, particularly shut, always there to cheer you up and put a smile on your face, as if he’s meant to be there, as if he’s fated to be by your side; he’s just always there. “aren’t you tired of me? you’re always taking care and looking after me,” curiosity fell from your lips as you murmured, worry lacing your voice. “never,” he whispered back, tenderly, repeating: “not if it’s you.”
;; 🎧
VENTI, the type to dance with you, spinning you around as he watches your hair lovingly swaying along with the wind, and he adores the way butterflies flit inside his stomach as he admires you. moments like this just reminds him of the first time he met you or to be exact, first ever saw you: happiness fluttered around you in a similar way a flower would dance with the wind, and he knew by then he wanted to be around you, that he had to be beside you—your heart is just so full of warmth, it is difficult not to be distracted by it.
VENTI, the type to take you out on dates during the night, treating it as some sort of adventure even though he has everything laid out from his mind—from the time, from the things he’s supposed to say, and to the path you’ll take that will bring you to a hidden spot with the most impressive and stupendous scenery. he’ll have everything prepared there, the blanket, the food, and of course, the wine to which makes you wonder when did he plan all of these although you never raised the question to him.
VENTI, the type to compliment you a lot. never will there be a day that he doesn’t fill your ears with praises—it’s a variety, not sticking to one, and always different each day. he’ll tell you the color you chose for your clothing suits you, he’ll praise your cooking skills even if you think it’s mediocre, he’ll flatter you and the style for your hair, he’ll tell you that he adores your smile every morning and he loves waking up to it, and everything. he doesn’t hesitate in saying such things, is not afraid to convey his affections to you—if only you could truly see yourself in his eyes, breathtakingly beautiful, so. simply, you were just the type of person people would write songs about; “how could you always be so lovely in every single day? even the flowers would envy you.”
;; 🎐
WANDERER, the type of man who you wish the world was kinder to, you would have wished the past would have been easy to him but what can you do? it had already happened, it left scars and wounds on his skin, and all you could do was kiss and murmur words on it, and hope that it would make him feel a little bit better. you could do nothing about his past but only be there for him throughout it all, hoping to create a future that he can look forward to even if it meant you not being there in it; “why are you like this?” he says, seemingly confused and afraid of the gentle unfamiliarity of tenderness and affection.
WANDERER, the type to not credit for anything. he gave you something that you’ve been longing to have? he just happened to got it and thought you might like it. what about the party or celebration that was arranged for you? he didn’t do much, he just sprinkled a little bit of his efforts even when he was the one who handled everything. the blanket that was placed on you when you fell asleep somewhere that isn’t your bed? you’d look stupid with a cold, he wouldn’t want you catching it.
WANDERER, the type to not show his feelings through words but rather with actions instead, and oftentimes with gifts. however, the same goes for him. he’s not used to such words, often responding to it in quite a mean manner by brushing it off and rolling his eyes but trust me and just observe his reaction carefully—he would turn away from you but despite that, you could still see the way his ears redden. he simply doesn’t know how to take it, only knowing how to either ignore it or somewhat agree with it, stating that it is only a must that you love him and that you should stay by his side for eternity that will come. he adores you, he really does and it’s way more than you might think, he’s just unable to convey it in a manner that you will understand so he does it in his own way in which is not hard for you to grasp the meaning behind it.

“Are you sure this is okay?” It’s too late to ask him that, but you couldn’t stop the question from leaving your lips. “I’d hate for you to get in trouble.”
Your face burns as silence follows; you can only thank whatever gods above for him not being able to see your expression.
“I won’t tell if you won’t tell,” he chuckles, and you copy the sound nervously, unsure if he is serious. After a pregnant pause, he adds, “I’m kidding. You have nothing to worry about.” Your peripheral vision catches him moving around you to get to the cabinet. “Consider it a favour from a friend.”
You hear the cabinet door open and shut, and you shift from your spot face down on the table.
“At least let me pay you back somehow,” you press, pouting.
“That defeats the point of a favour, doesn’t it?” Geto’s footsteps get louder until you catch sight of his shoes from the corner of your eye. There’s another pause, this one longer than the previous one. “Are you comfortable with me unclapsing your bra?” Before you can answer, he quickly continues, “It can stay on like you wanted, I just need the straps out of the way.”
If you aren’t hyping yourself up to take every opportunity to get closer to the masseur, you’re second-guessing your decision to take his offer. Should he follow through with the action, it would only be the beginning of something far more intimate. And you know this. You knew this. Even when Geto first suggested the idea after you opened up about your piling stress and even when you foolishly thought asking Gojo for advice on the offer was a good idea.
But you’re here now, aren’t you?
“Go for it,” you try to mask whatever uneasiness you can. Gentle fingers tug at the clips at the end of your bra, disconnecting them and allowing the straps to drop. Even with your chest still covered, you feel bare, the cool air tickling the newly exposed area. You have to force yourself from shivering.
“You still like the scent of lavender?” Geto's question catches you off-guard, raising your head from the cushion, not realizing that he recalled such a minor detail. Your silence makes the ravenette turn to you again, offering his easy-going smile. “Or have your tastes changed?”
You nod mindlessly, blinking up at him. “Lavender’s good.”
Geto hums before searching through his cabinet, taking several seconds to find the bottle he was looking for. You rest your head back on the cushion before he can catch you staring.
“I’ll be starting now.” The sound of a bottle cap opening follows your friend’s words. “If you’re ever uncomfortable, don’t hesitate to let me know. Otherwise, just lay back and relax.”
Despite his gentle voice, following his order becomes easier said than done once his large hands come in contact with your back, the oil adding to his skin’s warmth. You bit your lip, the serene scent of lavender reaching your olfactory as the masseur works his magic on your stress.
You don’t realize how exhausted your body has felt until Geto applies pressure for the first time, and you cringe.
“Easy, easy,” he soothes, pausing his ministrations once you try to relax your body. “Wow, you are stressed.”
You allow your body to sink further into the table’s mattress when his soft laughter reaches your ears, and you give him the go-ahead to continue. Fingerpads return to your skin, rubbing heavy yet sturdy circles onto your back, untying any and every knot trapping your muscles. You can feel your body fall limp, drowning heavily while at the same time floating into the heavens as every evidence of exhaustion disappears from you.
Still, even as you try to keep your mind blank and enjoy the moment, you can’t help but notice how much space Geto’s hand takes up on your back. It doesn’t help that they creep up to your neck, more than ready to push the problems away from that area.
“So,” you trail off, feeling the need to fill the silence rather than embrace it, “You give these massages to Ieiri or Satoru?”
The ravenette chuckles. “If you’d call the occasional shoulder rub a proper massage, then sure.”
A memory of the four of you at a local diner pops into your head, Shoko telling Geto a shoulder massage was the least she deserved after all the all-nighters she’s suffered through. You giggled, watching the medical student melt under the masseur’s magic touch, ignoring the twinge of jealousy that prodded your mind.
You quip. “Not even a full-body one? Ieiri’s the one who deserves it the most out of us.”
“Guess she just never has the time for one,” he hums.
“And Satoru?”
Geto snickers, pausing his actions. You join in on the laughter, a small swell of pride blooming in your chest.
Your joy is cut short when he resumes the massage, adding pressure to a specific area below the nape of your neck that forces a whimper out of you. You freeze, hoping the masseur didn’t hear it. But with how his hold on you paused, even for just a moment, you couldn’t deceive yourself into believing you were in the clear.
“Sorry,” you squeak, the warmth from your face expanding to the rest of your body. Could he feel it?
You can hear the smile in his voice. “So tense, aren’t you?”
You don’t miss the octave drop in his voice, biting your tongue. Geto returns to work, his fingers digging into your skin and untying whatever knots your muscles carried for who knows how long. You allow yourself to sigh at the sensation, your brows knitting together from the pressure without the discomfort.
His hands travel lower, returning to previous areas with added strength until he reaches the small of your back. You try not to tense upon feeling his fingers graze the towel covering your bottom, but you can’t prevent the shaky moan from escaping your lips once his hold shifts to your hips.
Another pause from him: another apology from you.
“Nothing for you to be sorry about.” Your friend assures you, though you barely miss the light strain in his tone. “I’ll be working on your legs next, okay?”
You hum lightly, shifting from your spot as he passes what the towel covers. Your thoughts wander before you can put them on a leash, the pang of disappointment from the neglect of that area allowing your imagination to drift.
Would a massage there even feel good? Geto would undoubtedly find a way, his large hands practically blanketing each cheek. And his fingers—God, they were the stars of the show, finding the spots that needed the most attention and pushing every bit of tension out of your worn-out body. You’re confident his digits would be just as adventurous in other places.
You feel yourself clench around nothing and fear the handsome man above you possibly noticing. Shaking your head, you hope those thoughts fly out like fleas.
Geto stops. “Too much?”
“Hm?” You snap out of your daze. “Oh, no. I’m fine.”
The masseur’s hands glide up to your upper thighs, and you freeze, his hold remaining in place as he leans closer to your head.
“You don’t have to go through with this if you don’t like it,” he says, his voice calm. “I can return the favour some other way.”
Your body moves before your brain can command it to. Or rather, stop it from doing so. Hastily, you raise your head from the cushion, your upper torso following suit as it twists to face your friend.
“I can take it.”
Silence. Too much of it for your liking. It has your stomach churning and your heart ramming against your ribs. Maybe it’s the heaviness in your body that follows you getting up too quickly, or your word choice. It could also be how Geto stares at you with parted lips, his eyes on you but not meeting your gaze.
Instead of further embarrassing yourself by speaking, you follow his focus, only to wish you hadn’t.
Your bra, long forgotten by you, barely hangs onto your body by its straps by your elbows, exposing your back as well as most of your chest. The lavender scent is no longer soothing, the heat on your face is dizzying, and you’d want nothing more than to run out the door if only your legs weren’t practically limp from your friend’s treatment. It doesn’t help that his hold on the back of your upper thighs hasn’t budged. If anything, it’s tightened, his grip making your clit jump.
You suppose you spoke too soon once the warmth of Geto’s touch disappeared from your legs, the masseur having moved to reach for your bra straps to pull them back up to your shoulders before you could process his actions. You blink, eyes trailing up to his face now adorning a rosy hue and soft lips pressed into a thin line. He’s so much closer, his breath barely fanning the top of your head. And if you aren’t forcing your gaze to meet his, you’re impulsively glancing back at his mouth.
With so much focus on the beautiful man, you don’t catch him slowly but surely leaning in.
The last discernable thing you catch is Geto’s lidded eyes darkening before he presses his lips against yours.
You don’t breathe. You forget to, just like how you leave your mouth slightly agape and your eyes wide open.
The ravenette pulls away quicker than he’d leaned in, and the corners of your lips twitch downwards. His brows furrow as he looks at you with a brighter flush on his handsome face. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have—”
No. You won’t let him regret his actions, not for your sake.
The sudden shift in perspective is alarming when, only moments ago, you feared ruining your relationship with your friend. Now, you’re shifting to sit on the massage table, grabbing Geto by his shirt collar, tugging him forward and slamming his lips onto yours. You groan at the impact, relaxing only a second later once he returns the kiss with just as much hunger.
But he’s still not close enough. His hold remains on your bra straps, making it harder for you to wrap your arms around his neck. It’s the only reason you pull back, locking eyes with him as you place your hands on his.
“Suguru,” you pant, chest heaving for air as your lids droop. Your following words stay trapped in your throat, the masseur having slid his hold higher up your shoulders to bring you back to the kiss. You squeak, the fervour behind his actions far more evident as his tongue teases your lower lip. He groans into your mouth, his thumbs caressing your skin as you invite him in, eager to have him even closer.
Your hands are still on top of Geto’s, you remember, and you slide his down your arms while he’s distracted by the kiss. (With how he’s swirling his tongue around yours, you aren’t sure you can call it a “kiss” anymore.)
You pull back hastily, not missing the string of saliva connecting your bottom lips before motioning for him to look down. His sharp eyes do so, blinking out of his haze as he sees how the cups of your bra no longer cover your breasts. You don’t recall when you stopped caring about your face burning like it was on fire, the pride in your chest and lust in your lower belly now the dominant sensations as he looks at you like you’re the most beautiful creature on the planet.
“Please,” he gulps, an unmissable strain in his voice. “Let me taste you.”
Even after the lewd makeout session, his words left your mouth cotton-dry. You can only kiss him again, guiding his hands to cup your breasts, your bra sliding off your arms.
When Geto pulls back, his lips reattach to your skin, trailing down your neck to the valley of your mounds. He lightly pushes you to lie down on the table, making yourself comfortable before plopping one of your nipples into his mouth, the other one between his fingers. Your own hands loosen his hair from its bun, the strands falling gracefully onto his broad back. They’re as soft as they look, your fingers streaming through the midnight locks like water past the pebbles in the river.
The masseur switches his treatment, the other nipple now teased by the grazing of his teeth while his large hand keeps the second breast from neglect. Your body feels hot, and the warmth of his mouth does little to soothe the issue. But with how much you’ve been rubbing your thighs together, you’d hardly consider this a problem now.
Your hands remain in his hair as Geto continues kissing down your body, stopping just at the apex of your thigh to peer at you with those dark pools for irises. One of his hands removes the towel from your lap, revealing your thin shorts underneath. He tugs at the waistband, silently asking for your permission. Your response consists of your hips rising from the table, and he’s quick to shimmy your remaining clothes off your body, stealing another passionate kiss from you in the process.
“I want nothing more than to hear every sound I get out of you,” your friend (can you still call him that?) pants, the corners of his mouth twitching upwards and his face flushed as he watches your reaction through hooded lids. You lean in, chasing his lips for another kiss. He stops you with a finger, and you hold back the whine squeaking from your throat. He chuckles. “But I’m going to need you to keep your voice down. Can you do that for me?”
You almost forgot that you’re in a public setting, even with the privacy of a closed door. Geto warmly smiles when you nod, and he lowers himself to face your crotch, helping you shift to let your legs dangle off the table. You find his eyes widening upon catching sight of your bare cunt already drooling your essence. The ravenette exhales shakily before planting a kiss on your clit, making you twitch. Your reaction makes him chuckle, and he licks long strips against your slit, moaning through his languid movements.
“What was that about being quiet?” You giggle breathily, leaning your weight on your hands. Geto pauses.
“Sorry, beautiful,” he whispers with a smile, tightening his hold on your thighs. “You taste like a dream.”
You throw your head back as your eyes flutter shut, his words and continued ministrations between your legs setting your body ablaze and your mind blank. It doesn’t help that he’s practically encouraging you to cage him tightly between your thighs, squeezing his head in place as he makes out with your cunt. Your hips grind into his touch, moving in tandem with his soft lips and warm tongue.
Even with his sensual movements, you can tell he’s holding back, if his tight hold on the fat of your thighs is any indication. Your hips grind into his touch, allowing him permission to feast on you how he’d like, gripping a fistful of his locks for further encouragement. And the masseur seems to have gotten the message, his tongue digging inside you while his nose nudges at your pearl.
Holding back your sounds of pleasure is already a challenge—warning the handsome male beneath you of your oncoming release doesn’t even seem possible, bottom lip tucked between your teeth as the sensation in your lower belly grows stronger.
And maybe Geto doesn’t need you to tell him. Or maybe, he’s just so lost in the taste of your essence that he’s decided to wrap his soft lips around your puffy clit and suck, the tip of his tongue flicking at the nub at the same time. Whatever the case, his actions do the trick, your hold on his head tightening as your legs shake while your jaw falls slack. The ravenette doesn’t falter, pushing himself closer to your cunt, his mouth working its magic and creating sounds that would embarrass you if it weren’t for the ringing in your ears.
Coming down from the high, plus the massage, has you losing your hold on yourself. Luckily for you, Geto quickly rises from his spot, catching you by the waist and pulling you into another kiss with a soft groan. Your taste on your tongue and the need for air make you dizzy, but you bring him closer regardless.
“‘M sorry,” he pants after ending the kiss, his chin shining with your slick. “Just had to show you how good you taste.”
You can only whimper in response, feathering kisses on his lips as you play with his hair. Geto happily lets you, his large hands mapping your torso and thighs as if burning every curve into his memory.
“Didn’t know this came with the free massage,” you mumble against his mouth, holding back a smile.
“There’s plenty more where that came from,” he purrs, moving you back down on your stomach like you weigh nothing. You hear the rustling of clothing, and before you can ask him what he’s doing, you feel a weight hovering over your figure. Familiar, large hands splay open on either side of your head while muscular thighs cage your legs in place. “Do you trust me?”
Something pokes your lower back, and you almost forget to answer with the masseur’s hot breath against your ear. You lift your hips to grind against his crotch with a whimper, hoping that’ll be more than enough for him.
Your actions make Geto laugh, and he teasingly nibbles at your earlobe. “Use your words, darling.”
It doesn’t help that he’s taken his tip to glide across your slit, collecting your juices as a lubricant. You twist your head to face him, one of your hands gripping on the cushion above you as a distraction.
“I’ve been waiting a lot longer for this moment than you know,” you confess meekly, watching as the ravenette’s eyes widen and lips part from your words. “And I don’t think I can keep it up any longer.”
You worry you’ve revealed too much too soon when you’re met with silence. But when that familiar smile and soft gaze grace Geto’s features, the nerves fluttering in your stomach evaporate.
The handsome male presses a kiss against your temple. “That makes two of us, then.”
With only a few seconds to register his confession, your heart does a doubletake before you feel Geto lead his cock into your heat, his hand gripping yours as reassurance. The subtly painful stretch that follows suit makes you grateful for the gesture, your insides splitting in half as he just keeps going in. Your eyes roll to the back of your head, feeling every vein graze against you.
The masseur notices, it seems, and he whispers encouraging words in your ear, giving you the occasional kiss on your shoulder.
“There you go,” he drawls quietly, his crotch meeting your ass. “Nice and full, aren’t you?”
You exhale shakily, feeling his strong chest pressed against your back. On rare occasions, when Geto wears tight-fitting shirts, you’re blessed with the sight of his chiselled physique, especially his back, since he can’t catch you ogling. The chance to leave your mark there, like an artist’s signature on a painted canvas, is one you’ve longed for. However, with the knot in your belly ready to snap without having him even move makes you grateful for the current position. Maybe next time you’ll get to see all of him.
Next time.
“Can I move, darling?” Geto's breath tickles your skin. “I’m afraid I won’t last too long with how you’re squeezing me.”
The almost boyish giggle he breathes out has your heart rocketing in your ribs. Your affirmation comes out weak, but the masseur hears it loud and clear. He reels his hips back, but it’s when he buries his shaft back into you that you feel your eyes roll back once more. Your jaw falls open, a moan slipping out as he sets a languid yet deep pace.
“We need to keep quiet, remember?” Geto shushes, his face buried in your neck. “My massages are good, but even outsiders might grow suspicious if you’re too loud.”
His soft laughter mixes with your pleading whine. “You’re not making it easy for me.”
The ravenette halts his movements, much to your dismay. Even with you wiggling your hips, he doesn't budge, and you’re about to ask him about the holdup before he beats you to it.
“You think it’s easy for me?” The soothing lilt of his voice is long gone, replaced with a low timbre that has you clenching around his girth. “I’ve got you milking me for all I’m worth, and we barely started. What do you think that does to me?”
You feel his teeth graze your skin, making you shiver as you try to regain friction between your legs. Geto's stronger than you, much stronger, and your movements don’t make him budge.
With a quivering sigh, you prop yourself on your forearms, and he retracts from his hiding spot in your neck. You face him, lids hanging low on your eyes and face warmer than it should be.
“Show me.”
With a smirk, Geto pulls himself out until only his tip remains before slamming back into you. You choke on a gasp, his pace and strength relentless as his hips slap against your ass, the sounds bouncing off the walls. You can’t even call him out on his hypocrisy as you bury your face into the table, hoping it’ll help mask your cries.
It doesn’t, of course. But Geto Suguru, ever the gentleman, carefully lifts your head by your neck and, while hovering over you, slams his lips against yours. The position isn’t the most comfortable, but you don’t find yourself complaining as he rams into you, filling you up and moulding your insides into the shape of his cock.
Your eyes don’t know what to do, from squeezing shut to crossing. At one point, you catch the door in your peripheral vision, and the thought of potentially getting caught has you clenching, your hand reaching for the masseur’s bicep and digging your nails into his pale skin.
Geto grunts. “You trying to make me cum, beautiful?”
His playful tone makes you whine, his pace never faltering as he sneaks one of his hands under you to grope one of your breasts. The toying of your nipple, along with the male’s relentless thrusts, fuels the coil in your belly, and what does the trick is him leaving his mark on your neck.
With a drawn-out gasp, your body stills, toes curling and tongue lolling out as your pussy convulses. You hardly notice Geto’s strokes growing sloppy, his whispered cursing going in one ear and out the other. Having him lead you to heaven is plenty for you.
Once you calm down, though, you feel like he’s pulled out too soon. You groan, your ears catching the light sounds of him shuffling from his spot above you, followed by a rapid squelching noise that has you peeking over your shoulder.
There, in all his naked glory, is Geto stroking his cock, his bottom lip trapped between his teeth and eyes zeroed in on your figure.
“Shit, shit—” he cuts himself off with a gasp, ropes of cum shooting from his slit and landing on the back of your thighs. The sight alone has you clenching, the need for him inside you arising once more. “Oh, fuck—”
Anyone would grow angry at a mess thrown at them. You’re no different, just worse (the one time Gojo accidentally made you ruin your eyeliner is more than enough proof—the poor fool).
And yet, having painted your thighs white by Geto, his seed clinging to your oily (and now sweaty) skin, you somehow find yourself falling for him more.
“Suguru,” you slur, your eyelids fluttering as you allow your body to slump back onto the table. You feel his weight disappear before hearing footsteps grow louder. Through tired eyes, you’re face-to-face with his crotch, causing you to squeak as your upper body jolts up again.
“Sorry, sorry,” the masseur chuckles, crouching to meet you at eye level. “Let’s get you cleaned up.”
The atmosphere returns to the comforting one his work ought to bring, though a part of you finds yourself fidgety. The ravenette wipes away the evidence with a wet towel, and it’s enough to keep you in place and relaxed as he continues to take care of you.
Once done, he helps you sit up, keeping you steady as your legs dangle off the table.
“I think you fucked the bones out of me,” you croak, and Geto pauses midway from sliding your underwear back up your legs. He laughs a soft, boyish laugh, the melody bringing a smile to your lips and a warmth of embarrassment to your cheeks. “Is this what you had in mind by doing me a favour?”
He pecks your nose before resuming dressing you. “No, but I’m not complaining with the results.”
You hum, and the silence returns as he aids you with the rest of your clothes.
It isn’t until he’s slipping his boxers back on that you speak again. “You don’t give this kind of special treatment to the others?”
A witless, little joke on your part, though your tone didn’t match. Maybe it was the exhaustion that took charge or a sliver of self-consciousness that needed assurance that you had him all to yourself. Still, you press your lips into a thin line, awaiting his answer.
“To our friends or my clients?” he inquires, putting on the remainder of his clothes. “Either way, the answer’s no.” When you don’t say anything else, he approaches you, nudging his nose against yours. “Did you want me to?”
Your head snaps up to meet his amused gaze. “No!”
Geto's joking smile eases into a sincere one, his strong arms wrapping around your waist and embracing you.
“Perfect,” he breathes, pressing his lips to your temple. “Guess that means you’re the only one who gets my special treatment.” A pause, followed by a sheepish giggle. “As long as we do it outside of my job. I’d like to keep it, you know.”
From your position, you peer over his shoulder to where the door stands a few meters away, shut and locked but keeping you in suspense. With heat bubbling in your face, you hide in the crook of his neck.
“You technically never finished my massage,” you mumble against his skin, your hands tracing any muscle it can reach on his back. Geto pulls back from the hug, jutting his bottom lip as if pondering.
“I suppose you’re right,” he hums before another smile breaks onto his features. “Shall we continue back at my place, then?”

Sirius Black x fem!reader ♡ 2.2k words
Sirius has been meaning to tell you, he really has. It’s only that feelings weren’t something encouraged in the house where he grew up, and he’s still not very good at them even now that he has the words, and though he’d called James a prat when he said Sirius was bad at vulnerability James is usually right about those things. Every time Sirius tries to say it, the words stick back in his molars like caramel. He wants the moment to be right, but not so heavy with gravitas that he can't play it off as casual if he needs to. Also, he thinks that if you don’t say it back he’ll probably have to move countries and change identities. Still. You deserve to know.
Sirius decides all this whilst watching you sleep on a Sunday morning. Time moves like sap as you wake up, slow and sweet. First your face turning to the side, cheek pressed into the pillow. Then your body follows, and you’re laying on your stomach, one leg hiking up so your calf brushes Sirius’ thigh. Your eyes crack into the sunlight, then shut again. Sirius thinks about tracing every slope and curve of your face, starting with your nose and working his way outward. You mumble something, half in a dream. Eventually, you catch him looking, and your eyes flutter open, smile stretching lazily across your cheeks.
The sun rises in Sirius’ chest.
“Hi,” you murmur.
He gives in to one touch, drawing a line from your temple down to your chin. “Hi,” he says back.
He thinks that he has to tell you now. He’s known for weeks already, and when’s better than when he feels it so strongly and has just resolved to have you hear it?
He traces the same path back up your face, letting the words take form on his tongue. Your eyes flare before he opens his mouth.
For a moment, Sirius wonders if you’ve read his mind. But then you gasp out, “What time is it?”
He tells you, and you vault out of bed, suddenly wide awake.
“Oh my god,” you laugh, passing an anxious hand through your hair as you hurry towards the bathroom. “I was supposed to meet Mary for coffee at nine! I can’t believe I forgot to set an alarm.”
Sirius sits up. “She won’t hold it against you. Everyone sleeps in on Sundays, whose idea was it to meet before noon anyway?”
“Hers.” Your voice sounds garbled, and he guesses by the sound of it that you’re brushing your teeth. The sink turns on. “I just hate the idea that she’s been waiting on me all this time.”
He pummels his feelings back into submission, getting out of bed. “I’m sure she hasn’t.” He pads into the bathroom, hugging you from behind whilst you speed-run your skincare routine. “James said he was out with her and Lily last night. She probably didn't remember to set her alarm either.”
“Really?” You sound hopeful. “I don’t want her to think I ditched her.”
Sirius presses a placating kiss to your shoulder. “I bet she's just waking up herself. Want me to give her a ring?”
“Would you?”
“Sure.”
“Thank you.” You turn around, kissing him properly. Sirius’ lips buzz with the things he can’t say. “You’re the best.”
Well, at least he can be that for you.
~~~
The second time Sirius tries to confess, it’s just as impulsive. What can he say—planning was always more James’ thing, Sirius never had an affinity for it. He does his best thinking on his feet.
You’re in a pub, your friends and drinks abandoned at a table in the corner. It’s loud and crowded, one of those electric Friday nights. And this pub, in what Sirius chooses to believe is a happy turn of fate, has a hallway. It’s short and sparsely lit, leading only to an employee bathroom. Through rose-tinted glasses and possibly also beer goggles, it looks to both of you like an opportunity too good to pass up.
Sirius has you pressed between stacks of chairs, your laughter fizzing on his tongue. You taste like cider and the sticky toffee pudding you’d ordered on a whim to split with James, and one of your fingers is hooked through Sirius’ belt loop as if to keep him tethered to you. As if you need to do anything at all to be sure of that.
He pushes his knee between your thighs, and your lips curve against his.
“Cruel,” you say. “You can’t do things like that in public.”
Sirius plays dumb. “Things like what, lovely girl?”
“Tease me.”
“Oh?” He peeks at you through his lashes, and you’re looking at him, too, eyes glittery. “And what is it that you think you’re doing?”
“Kissing.”
“Right. Is that all?”
He can practically feel the giggle bubbling in your throat. “What else?”
“No, nothing. Nothing at all.”
You press your lips to his, and Sirius thinks it, crystal clear. An obvious truth. He thinks that it might be fun to tell you this way, to let you feel how his lips form the words against your own. Maybe you can roll them around in your mouth and give them a taste.
“I—”
“Oh, I’m so sorry.”
You’re looking behind him, expression turned to shy contrition. You’re smiling just a tiny bit, eager to be laughed off and forgiven, but the pub manager Sirius finds when he turns around appears only weary.
“Just go,” he says.
You don’t need to be told twice, urging Sirius out of your little alcove and pulling him by the hand back towards your table to relay the story embarrassedly to your friends. The moment passes.
~~~
The third time, Sirius actually does plan, but you don’t show up. He considers this a probable sign that he should never plan anything ever again.
If he’s being honest with himself, he’s pretty put out. James got all this stuff into his head about romance and home cooked meals and even though Sirius doesn’t consider himself good at either of those things, he did try. He made the simplest thing he could find that you might like, cleaned off the kitchen table for the first time in forever, lit candles and then blew them out because that felt like too much. Lit them again, because who was he kidding.
It was supposed to be a surprise when you came home from work, only now it’s an hour past when Sirius had been expecting you and you’re not home. Not your fault, obviously. He hadn’t hinted you were doing anything special, and you’re not obligated to keep him abreast of your comings and goings no matter how much Sirius wishes you would right this moment. He’d caved and called your work a few minutes ago, worried about you, but there’d been no answer. Your office is closed for the day.
He nearly jumps out of his chair when you come in, a cold wind coming with you before you shut the door on it.
“Fuck.” You give a shiver, setting two drink containers down on the counter before starting to pull off your coat. Your hair is wind-whipped and your lips look chapped. Sirius has a suspicion that if he pinched the tip of your nose it’d be frozen solid. “It is gusty out there.”
“What happened to you?” Despite his best intentions, there’s a bit of accusation in Sirius’ tone. “Did you go somewhere after work?”
“It’s so—” You laugh, taking off your shoes. “It’s so stupid, honestly. But in my defense, I had no idea how long it would take.”
“How long what would take?”
“Okay, you know how—wait.” You look around, noting the candles and the set table. “Did we have plans?”
Sirius winces. “No. We didn’t. This was…impromptu. It was going to be a surprise.”
“Did you make dinner?”
“Well, it’s cold now.”
Your lips part, crestfallen. “Oh. Sirius, baby,” you breathe, moving towards him, “I’m sorry. I’d have come straight home if I’d known.”
“I know,” he says, fighting his own umbrage at the humiliating blunder. “I didn’t tell you. It’s fine.”
“But you made—”
“Would you just—really, it’s okay.” Sirius uses your hands to pull you down into the chair next to him. “Just tell me what happened.”
You still look miserable—really not what Sirius had hoped for tonight—but you start to explain again. “You know how you were obsessed with those salted caramel hot cocoas that one coffee shop had?”
Sirius feels his eyebrow lift. This feels like an odd place to start. “Yeah. The one that they sold out of after two weeks?”
“Right,” you say weakly. “They said it was because they had troubles with the vendor and ran out of the syrup.”
“Yeah…”
“Well, it turns out there’s more than one of that particular coffee shop. This girl at my work was talking about this salted caramel hot cocoa she’d tried, and she said she got it at another location of the same place. They’re, like, a local chain or something.”
You’re still looking guiltily at the cold plate of food beside you, but you’re picking up steam now, talking more animatedly and fishing a tube of lip balm out of your pocket as you tell the story.
“So, I looked it up and it turned out there was one right close to my work. I figured that had to be the place she got it, so I went down there to snag one after I got off.” You smear lip balm on while you speak, Sirius’ attention captivated by the movement. “I waited in this whole long line, and when I got up there the guy said the same thing they told you at the other place. They hadn’t had it for months.
So I called my friend from work, and apparently there are actually three locations and she’d gotten it from the one near her flat. And her flat was totally across town, but I figured I’d already waited in line, why not just commit? So I took the bus down there and…”
You stand, going to the counter to retrieve the drink containers you’d come in with. Sirius had forgotten about them.
“...got us these.” You pass one to him. “The guy said hardly anyone ever orders them there, for some reason. I got him to sell me a thing of the syrup, too.” You point with your chin to the counter. “It’s in my bag. I thought we could try to make our own, even if they’re not quite as good.”
Sirius is appalled. “You spent over an hour after work running across town…to get me a hot cocoa?”
You smile sheepishly. “I told you it was stupid.”
“Are you kidding me?” He sets his hot cocoa down on the table, taking your face between his hands and kissing you ardently. “I love you.”
He knows your eyes are open without having to open his. When he does, pulling away from you gently, your lips stay parted.
“Sirius,” you say slowly, the way you might talk to a wild animal, “it’s only cocoa.”
He grins, a nervous tic. “I realize that makes the whole sentiment sound rather conditional, but it’s not really.”
“Do you really mean it?” you almost whisper.
Sirius swallows. In his head, blurting it out involved much less explaining. This seems like that vulnerability thing James warned him about.
“Yes,” he says. Forces himself to do it without fanfare. “Of course I meant it. Why wouldn’t I mean it?”
“It just seems like the sort of thing you might say on a whim,” you admit. Later, Sirius thinks, you might laugh about how close to the truth you really were. You look bashful now, shrinking in on yourself and lip dimpling like you’re biting down on a smile. He chooses to interpret this as a good sign.
“It’s not a whim,” he reassures you. “It’s…I’ve been meaning to tell you.” He cracks a smile, grateful when you let yours loose too. “Felt like you ought to know.”
You give a little laugh. “Is that why you made dinner?”
“Not my best plan. We can blame James.”
“James knew?”
“Well, I—” Truthfully, there’s not much that goes through Sirius’ head that James doesn’t hear about. Usually immediately. “He’s got some more practice with this stuff than I do. You know, considering he’s been professing his love to Evans since he was about eleven years old.”
You’re still smiling. A private, amused sort of smile. “So you consulted with him.”
Fuck. Now Sirius feels about eleven years old. “Humiliating, isn’t it?”
“No.” You wrap your fingers in the collar of his shirt, pulling him closer. “Sweet.”
You kiss him much more nicely than he had you, soft, gentle presses of your freshly moisturized lips. Your hand moves to cup his face.
“Oh,” you mumble. “I love you, too, by the way.”
Sirius lets out a relieved bark of laughter, too loud and too sharp. “Good to know,” he says. “Thanks.”
You laugh, too. “Sorry I forgot to say it. Fuck, I really ruined your confession every way imaginable, didn’t I?”
“That’s okay.” Sirius leans back in. “I ruined it first.”

A/N: EVERYONE SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO @alon3lylov3r
You lay in your dorm, deep in slumber, your head cradled by plush pillows and the covers enveloping you in a cozy embrace. It was the weekend, a precious opportunity to sleep in, especially since personal time had become scarce. As you turned to find a more comfortable position, you felt delicate kisses brushing against your neck. Your eyes shot open in shock; you had gone to bed alone, so who was this in your space? Glancing over, you were met with the cheerful face of your boyfriend, Hanta.
His infectious grin was the first thing you noticed. "Jesus Chirst, Hanta," you exhaled, your heart racing as he wrapped his arm around your waist, drawing you closer to him. His hands slipped under your shirt, the chill of his fingers igniting goosebumps on your warm skin. "Sorry," he laughed softly, his lips finding their way to your jaw, his warm breath making you squirm with delight.
His lips danced across your skin, making their way up to your ear. "Happy birthday, Y/n," he murmured, a playful smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. A soft smile spread across your face as the realization hit you—this was why he had sneaked into your dorm so early and was being so affectionate. A light chuckle escaped your lips as you turned to face Sero, who had his arms wrapped around you, holding you close. You could see the joy radiating from him. "Thank you," you said, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. "But how did you even get in here?" you asked, fully aware that you locked your door every night. "Oh, don’t worry about it," he replied casually.
"Don't worry about it? How can I not be concerned that you managed to enter my locked room? What if someone else, not my boyfriend, tries to get in?" you questioned, your voice laced with concern as his hands began to wander toward your shorts, pulling them down and off. "Hanta, what are you doing?"
"Oh, don't mind me. Just keep going," he said, gently nudging you back as he positioned himself above you, settling between your legs. Leaning down, he began to kiss your neck once more, his lips soft yet filled with an undeniable passion that you adored. You let out a smooth hum, tilting your neck to give him better access, and he eagerly followed, his lips exploring the newly exposed skin. With his other hand, he spread your legs wider, softly pinning your knees to the bed before his fingers began to wander. They glided along your folds, spreading your slickness before finding your clit, where the gentle pressure of his fingertip made you gasp, releasing a shaky breath.
Before you knew it he was making his way down to your pussy, settling his head between your legs, pressing kisses on your thighs, his eyes glued onto your face, seeing you biting your lip eagerly waiting for him to take. you. "You're so gorgeous you know that?' he whispered, loud enough for you to hear, he peppered kisses to your inner thigh, biting it now and then working his way to your pussy. sensing your leg shaking in anticipation he chuckles softly. Hanta's mouth was watering, he leaned down towards you, staring intently at your pussy. His breath fanned against your skin, he could feel his mind getting a bit dizzy, he could even hear the sound of his heartbeat, it was beating unbelievably. He looked up at you before slowly giving a tentative lick, tasting you.
You twitched softly at the lick, your teeth digging hard on your lips. He started to lick you again, swirling his tongue against your clit, his arms going under your legs, slinging them over his shoulder, trying to get close as possible to you. "A-ah" You breathed out laying your head back against the pillows, your hand reaching to grip the bed sheets as he kept eating you out. The noises that were coming out of his mouth made you squirm, the slurping sounds were driving you insane. He licked the length of your slit, his nose brushing against your clit, sending tingles to your body, his hands on your thighs, squeezing them tightly.
Every sound you made drove him wild, his mind consumed with thoughts of you. He licked harder and faster, desperate for more of your taste, his tongue eagerly exploring every inch of you. As he buried his face between your legs, you couldn't help but curse and your legs involuntarily tightened around his head. He moaned in response and raised his head to meet your gaze, his chin glistening with your arousal. You looked down at him, feeling a rush of desire as he hungrily eyed you. "Sorry," you moaned, but he shook his head with a chuckle. "No need to apologize," he said, desire evident in his eyes. "Means I'm doing something right." Your face flushed at his words, the intense pleasure coursing through your body.
"Please don't stop."
His heart felt like it was about to beat out of his chest at the sound of those words.
He had no intentions of stopping, he knew he could get addicted to this, to you, but he didn't care. He felt like a man possessed, he wanted to devour every part of you, he wanted to make you scream and squirm in pleasure, he needed to give you pleasure. He quickly went down again, humming softly as his tongue did the work. "Just like that Sero" you whimpered, knowing that he knew exactly how to please you. His pace increased, his tongue flicking and sucking against your sensitive flesh. His grip on your thighs was unyielding as your hips began to undulate against his face, and he hummed in response, sending delicious vibrations through your body and igniting a fire within you. Your moans echoed through the room as your body trembled with impending release, but still he didn't stop.
His tongue swirled and flicked around your clit, the tip of his skilled muscle teasing and caressing the small bud. Your body arched and trembled under his touch, your cries of pleasure echoing through the room. The intense sensations sent your head spinning, and you felt like you were on the verge of exploding with ecstasy. "I'm gonna-" you moaned, your breathing becoming more ragged as your hips rolled faster and harder against his face. Hanta's pace matched yours, his mouth working in perfect harmony with your movements. "F-fuck, Hanta!" His name tumbled from your lips, spurring him on as he focused all of his attention on pleasuring you. The only sounds in the room were your heavy panting, the creaking of the bed, and the wet, sloppy sounds emanating from his mouth. Every touch of his tongue sent waves of pleasure coursing through your body, bringing you closer and closer to the edge.
His fingers gripped your thighs with a mixture of pain and pleasure, digging into the flesh as though trying to leave his mark. The intensity of his touch sent you over the edge, your body trembling under his skilled hands.
You cried out in ecstasy, moans and screams escaping your lips as he continued to pleasure you with his tongue. He didn't stop, determined to help you ride out every wave of pleasure until your legs shook from the overwhelming sensation. Gradually, he slowed his pace, gently lapping at your folds and bringing you back down to earth.
As you caught your breath, you looked up at him in awe. Your face was flushed with desire and covered in a thin sheen of sweat, making your skin glow in the dim light. Your chest rose and fell rapidly, still trying to recover from the intense experience.
He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and asked softly, "Are you feeling alright?" Your head was still clouded with pleasure as You weakly nodded in response. "Mhm," You managed to say, trying to catch your breath. "Good, because I'm not done yet mi cielo." He chuckled and kissed you again, savoring the taste of you on his lips. "I'm going to make you feel so good," he whispered between kisses. His hand slid under your shirt, cupping and squeezing your breast as the two of you continued to kiss. His fingers found your awakened nipple and gently caressed it.
Gently, he continued to roll and pinch your nipples with his fingers, eliciting soft whimpers from your lips. With a swift movement, he flipped you onto your stomach, pressing your chest down onto the bed and leaving your ass exposed in the air. As he slid his pants down, his hard cock sprang out eagerly. He grasped your hips firmly and pulled you closer, causing your body to tremble as his erection pressed against your folds. Teasingly, he ran his tip along your wet hole before slipping inside of you, filling you completely with his throbbing length.
You gasped and gripped the sheets beneath you as he started to slowly thrust into you, his pace starting slow, letting you get used to his size. He let out a soft groan as he filled you up completely, his hips flush against your ass.
"Shit…you're so tight." he groaned, his nails digging into your hips. His hands slowly travel up to your back, his hands pressing down onto it, arching your back, making him slip even deeper inside you, the slight change in position making you moan loudly.
His thrusts became more forceful and rapid, his cock sliding effortlessly in and out of you. One hand reached up to grab a handful of your hair, pulling gently and sending sparks of pleasure throughout your body. He increased his pace even further, his hips moving with a primal urgency, filling the room with the sound of skin slapping against skin. Lost in the moment, he was overcome with pure bliss - all that mattered was the feeling of you wrapped around him, the sight of you writhing beneath him, and the sound of your voice filling his ears.
He grunted, his voice dripping with desire and need as he continued to hit that sweet spot inside of you. Each thrust was powerful and unrelenting, driving his cock deep into your core. The pressure and tension built in your lower abdomen, the pleasure ready to burst forth.
You let out a cry, your body trembling with ecstasy, but he didn't stop. He pressed his entire body against yours, his chest firmly against your back. His hips moved with a steady rhythm, the sound of his thrusts echoing throughout the room.
As if sensing your needs, he leaned down and began to nibble and suck at the sensitive skin on the back of your neck. His teeth grazed your flesh, sending shivers of pleasure through your body.
"Hanta!" you cried out, your voice broken and breathless as the sensations overwhelmed you. "Ah- fuck…so fucking good." He moaned in response, his voice muffled against your neck as he continued to take you to new heights of pleasure.
His cock throbbed with every thrust, filling you up and driving you closer to the edge. But he held back, determined to make you come first. With one hand wrapped around your waist, he reached the other behind and started rubbing your clit, sending electric shocks of pleasure through your body. Your cries grew louder as your orgasm approached, your body trembling beneath him.
"That's it, mi cielo," he chuckled huskily, his deep voice sending shivers down your spine. And then it hit you, a wave of intense pleasure crashing over you like a tidal wave. You saw stars as your body convulsed in ecstasy. He didn't stop, his hips still moving in a steady rhythm, the sound of skin slapping against skin filling the room.He couldn't hold back any longer, feeling your release around him only intensifying his own pleasure. With a guttural moan, he came hard inside of you, his cock pulsing and twitching as he filled you completely.
The two of you were panting and gasping for air, trying to catch your breaths, bodies slick with sweat, and his chest pressed against your back.
"Feliz Cumpleaños amor," he said, kissing your cheek, you looked back at him still catching your breath as you smiled.

suggesting maybe some changbin tummy appreciation ! either from reader or another member, doesn’t matter 🤭 just need someone to let changbin know how gorgeous his body is !
⋆˚࿔ drabble!! 𝜗𝜚˚⋆ - S.C.
okay hold on because I have so many thoughts about this. but one in particular.
word count: 754 (roughly) genre: ABSOLUTELY CAVITY INDUCING FLUFF!! i also am a sucker for binnie tummy/muscles appreciation so this was so self indulgent. author's note: I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS AAAA, my first drabble and my first ask all in oneee!! ty for the luv, bb dividers by the one and only @firefly-graphics
thinking HEAVY about first thing in the morning, and he's got those big ol arms wrapped around you. they're loosely holding you but holding you nonetheless, and its so cozy and safe you can't help but exist within them for a second before turning to face him. study him. his lips are just slightly pouted as he snores softly through his nose. and I just know the natural smell of him mixed with very faints scents of cologne is almost INTOXICATING, I JUST KNOW HE SMELLS GOOD.
throwing your arm over his torso to snuggle up closer and lay your cheek softly against his chest, and your hands wander mindlessly. simply comforted by the warmth he radiates and the hum that vibrates through him every now and again. you can't help but notice the little bit of skin that peeked out between the bottom of his shirt, now pulled up just below his belly button due to movement in his sleep, and his shorts. your fingers dance their way down from his shoulder and to the bit of skin you could see, even taking the opportunity to push the shirt up further. not able to help the little giggle that flutters in your chest as you flatten your hand against his stomach. soft and smooth, the tiniest bit of happy trail growing its way back after a recent clean trim. I feel like when he does sleep he sleeps HARD, but he's easily awoken. in the sense that a little nudge and some sweet words are the absolute key to waking him. and boy does he wake so gracefully too. "mm." he'd mumble, sniffing and sighing but not yet opening his eyes when he feels your light fingers tracing shapes around his tummy. shapes turned into squiggles, squiggles turned into taps, taps turned into pokes. it was enough to make the muscles there twitch. "mornin'." you'd mumble back, your attention pulled now to his face. his cute face with puffy morning cheeks and sleepy eyes that try their best to open. your lips kiss over his clothed chest and make their up in a beeline for his lips, with a little stretch of your neck due to the position you're laid in. "what're you doin'? hm?" the heel of his hand rubbing at his left eye in an attempt to wake himself up, and a groan escapes him when he stretches himself out. if it wasn't for the grip you had on his shirt you probably would have been rolled off of him. "admiring you." you smile, sitting up to draw a heart on his right bicep before leaning down to kiss the same spot. his left arm never faulters from its place around your waist, even pulling you closer when he feels your lips against his skin.
"oh? me?" he jests, reaching his right arm up to rest behind his head. a poor attempt at flexing (I'm gonna bite his arm i stg). "and your tummy." you mumble, your attention once again moving to the exposed skin. bin subconsciously places a hand there, rubbing over it with thoughts flitting behind his eyes. "it's one of my favorite things about you, ya know?" "really?" "yeah! I mean you're my snuggly boyfriend, regardless, but your tummy is the best part. to kiss, to hold, to lay on." with each example, you show the actions, after gently swatting his hand away. a kiss, a hug, a lay. a few more kisses. "anyways, its part of you and because I love you...I love it."
his hand combs through your hair as you give his stomach just a fewww more kisses before settling your cheek there. "warm." "yeah?" "mhm." "thank you." he mumbles, just under his breath but loud enough for you to hear. you take the opportunity to rub your cheek against the soft skin, and give him another squeeze of a hug. everyone has those things that eat away at them, and sometimes the right words from the right person with the right amount of love...can quiet those thoughts. even if just for a moment. and your love for bin, and consequently your love for his absolutely adorable and soft tum, heals something in both of you. "always." you reply, sitting up once more to meet his face. taking his cheeks in your hands and planting a kiss on his lips. "always." he repeats, a giggle or two following after when your kisses become quick and silly as they spread all over his face.
my general taglist is open!! don't hesitate to ask to join!! (my asks are also open, as you can see, and will be for a bit!! take the chance while they are still open to send me some vibes and ideas, or even just a little hello!)

the way it follows you home, the stories i never told
My guy Vox once again graced us with lovely Goyuu fanfics, and the way it follows you home, the stories i never told, made me go FERAL.
Time travel? Two Gojou Satorus? Double affection for our sunshine Yuuji? Yuuji sandwich? What feels like possible continuation of (you'll whisper, serpent tongue) what you fear you have become???
FUCK.
I need to stop indulging my imagination too much. I should’ve been content with writing long-ass comments but noooooo, my brain goes “you gotta draw it”. DAMMIT VOX, YOU AND YOUR DELICIOUS WRITINGS HHHHHH
So… usually I should’ve picked a favourite scene that is within my drawing capability, but I just… love all three chapters??? So I made a questionable time investment? I can’t stop??? Help???
This is probably the most ambitious fanart project I’ve ever done so far. Fair enough, considering I might combust if I keep these welled-up emotions inside from reading Vox’s Goyuu fics. Fuck.
Fic info:
Title: the way it follows you home, the stories i never told
Author: @voxofthevoid
Pairing: YuuGoGo. Future!Yuuji, Future!Gojou, Teen!Gojou
(idk why I laugh writing YuuGoGo. I’m beyond help)
Currently, it is 3 chapters out of 8. And it’s gonna be NSFW chapter 4 onwards, so don’t forget to read the tags first, folks!
The drawings are under Read More, because I have lots of thoughts surrounding each chapter and drawings. It’ll be hella long if I didn’t hide it here. It was a mess down there. A combination of hours before, during, and after I read said fic. I’d say good luck finding the art among the sea of jumbled words but… you’ll find them easily. Don’t worry about it haha
SPOILERS FOR ALL 3 CHAPTERS! I highly recommend reading those first before diving into these drawings!
Also for the comics, read from right to left please!
From here on, I will be referring to the Future!Gojou as Gojou and the teenage one as Satoru.
Overall, drawing all these is fun! Really fun! This project pushed me quite hard, forcing me to test my limit (because I rarely draw this much back to back). Since this is a combination of drawings and comics, the coloring style will not be consistent. In a way, I want to try some brushes I never get to use, as well as try out my new graphic tablet. Drawing these got me giggling because I was finally able to let loose during line art. It's much easier to do so, and sometimes I just get to reread the fic and giggle to myself for the nth time.
CHAPTER 1:
Whooo. Whooooooooo—
Ok, ok, the premise is just that good. It intrigued me, fascinated me, and I just… oomph. I cannot refuse a Time Travel Yuuji Sandwich. Sign me up.
Honestly, there are two scenes that are just… a bit too clear in my mind when reading this chapter. That would be the one I drew above, and the other is when Yaga called Gojou to come outside of the class. I love, loooove how Vox wrote Satoru’s POV. And when Yuuji fucking giggles?
I lost it.
Can you imagine, drawing Yuuji grins, with shiny stuff, maybe some sunlight, just purely happy and indulging Gojou?
Help me, for I am drowning in my love and adoration for Yuuji.
Page 2 is an experiment on using harsh black as shading (kind of?). I really enjoyed colouring Yuuji, and drawing those buffalo skulls! I wish I can grasp the concept of contrast a bit better tho :v
CHAPTER 2:
This is probably the only chapter where I picture still images instead of comic panels. A bit like those cool chapter covers in mangas. The one I really, really want to draw is the scene with Satoru on the table. Can’t pass the opportunity to highlight Satoru being a brat, albeit a really cool brat.
Cool idea drawing always proves to be a challenge, because of course my artistic skill just so happens to be below the requirement. Thank you, Sketchfab, for the chair and desk’s perspective otherwise I’m screwed lmao
The second scene that I want to draw the most is this:
Gojou is one step away from climbing Yuuji. Also, I have a bit of a problem picturing a man pouting that makes him look crazy instead, so please have Gojou pouting adorably instead. Because, as Yuuji said (with love), Gojou is (also) a brat.
This is possibly my favorite art in this project, after Yuuji's in Chapter 1 page 2. It's clean because I don't have to draw background, and I was having a fun time drawing Yuuji. And Gojou's squishy cheek as well.
Oh, actually, there is a “manga” scene in this chapter. It’s when Yuuji said, “I love Satoru.”
I just—
AAAAAHHHHH YUUJIIIIIII YOU AND VOX ARE GONNA BE THE DEATH OF ME. That secure relationship between Yuuji and Gojou? Satoru’s description of how Yuuji’s smile could blot out the sun??? Not me screaming 💀 I also see bits of hints of possible co-dependency, though I could be reading those wrong, but either way I’m good. Secure and possessive relationships are fun to consume hhhhhh
But yeah. There are too many wholesome Yuuji smiles in this fic, and I… I am not confident enough to draw genuine happiness. It’s too much for me ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_
For this chapter, another reason why I chose these two scenes is just because I want to try and draw cover-worthy pictures of Yuuji and Satoru, and Yuuji and Gojou (cough)
CHAPTER 3:
We start the chapter with Nanamin. Ah, Nanamin. I forgot what his teen self looked like and was surprised to see his design again lmao
I want to draw Yuuji and Nanami scene because… I just want to, I guess. I have never drawn him before (Yaga as well) so that's an interesting challenge. I got two ideas on how I want to draw it. One is a bit painting-esque, and the other one is like another chapter cover. In the end, I chose the cover one because I want to emphasise the difference between teen!Nanami and the Nanami from Yuuji’s original timeline, and how the watch feels like a connection between the same (yet not) person. It’s a bittersweet feeling? In a way?
I’m not really good at explaining my intention ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_
I love Yuuji’s answer to Nanami's question.
AND FINALLY.
A Yuuji SandwichTM scene.
And oh B O I do I love it. Have I told you I like every chapter? I probably have. But this one? Satoru’s curiosity, Yuuji’s on-brand self-deprecation, and Gojou come strolling down to show more of Yuuji to his mini-self. I want to draw this whole scene, from Gojou finding them, feeding Yuuji snacks, bitch-slapping Satoru into the backroom, to Yuuji growling. Them trying to hide a boner from Yuuji’s growl got me cackling so hard I LOVE IT 😭
I love it all. Please love Yuuji in my stead, Satoru and Satonyan :3
Oh! Also! 40-finger Yuuji sounds really, really cool! I’ll be happy with whatever Vox will give us in future chapters, but 40-finger Yuuji… possible scene with this timeline’s Sukuna… my god. The action! The drama! The bloodshed! One can only hope.
However, as much as I love that whole scene, it’s still too much for me :”) I’m still not yet confident in delivering the humour and action. Also my already-long drawing plan had my brain groaning in protest so I can’t push my luck :'D
When Gojou said "He looks sweet, but he's a bit of a beast", I kept picturing Yuuji staring innocently, but there was an edge to his look. As if the moment Satoru looks away, he will pounce. But in the end I just stick with innocent-looking Yuuji because I accidentally drew his eyes that way and I want to keep it in lol
Since Satoru points out how soft and cuddly Yuuji is, I also want to draw soft Yuuji :v
And the last one… is the last scene. For some reason, I read that both Gojou and Satoru share Yuuji’s lap and was having a frustrating yet fun time figuring out how it’s… physically possible, without having their butts on the ground because they both are not small at all. As I lined the art, I reread it again and… perhaps I read it wrong? Satoru is beside Yuuji, and not on his lap? So yeah, this one might be the least accurate, but hey, at least you can view it as a crack drawing or something :v
AAAANNNDDD I HAVE EXCEEDED TODAY’S BRAIN CAPACITY OF FORMING WORDS
Have I told you I love this fic?
…I probably have.
Have an amazing week (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚*
