👁️-How do other people perceive this oc? How close do their first assumptions come to the truth?

Most people think he's a little eccentric but generally a good-natured boy. Maybe he's a little weird about astrology and looks like he's been missing sleep but he's so friendly! And he likes plants! He's fine!

He's gotten a few admirers at his day job at the flower shop this way, I'd say about 80% of the general population's opinion of him are way off from the truth.

But the other 20%, people who have a good intuition or just have had a few unlucky encounters and know the signs, just see him and know it's a good idea to stay away from him.

🧠- What is their stress response: fight, flight, freeze, or fawn?

My first reaction is "fight" but after reading a little bit more about it, "fawn" could also apply since he wants to liked and he's a bit of a people pleaser in his day to day life - so I guess it depends on the threat and the stakes.

If someone is confronting him about his behavior or trying to take something (or someone) away from him - his gut reaction is to fight back and get defensive.

If someone he already likes though is threatening him I could him leaning into "fawn" to try and get back into their good graces. If he ever did get a partner that would take advantage of him, Thistle would simply put up with it and think it was fine as long as he was being "loved". He can't win.

The lady that done my dreadlocks is huge on astrology and showed me my birth chart and it was so interesting. Like I had my therapist saying its because x,y,z in my past - my hair lady an hour later is like "its because gemini in ur 12 house" or something and honestly both just made sense and I don't know how

At the moment I can't seem to get enough of Austin - by Dasha. I enjoy it a lot. But it's also just constantly on repeat in my head.

🎧 — do you write while listening to music/podcasts/videos/etc, or do you need total silence?

Depends what/who I'm writing. I tend to have it playing but pause it when I am actually writing but I can have some shit TV on like Hells Kitchen and it's fine. I guess because with music I tend to listen a little more than the insults of chef ramsey.

Podcasts are a huge no when I'm trying to write. I can't be doing with that I can barely have a conversation while I type because I never proof reaf and I'll just end up typing what's being said.

hi. my boss just told me I won't be paid on time, and they don't know when i will be paid (if ever.) therefore i am short about $1300 that i was going to use to pay rent.
