single line, para, or novella: Honestly, I'm pretty open for anything. I am a person who may spit out a multi para at you out of nowhere and if we haven't agreed to a length beforehand do not feel pressured to match my legnth. I just can't shut up about my muses sometimes. plotting or winging it: I like to plot a lot, I think it's fun to talk about how our muses interact and I think it can give more depth and nuance to any future spontaneous interactions. That being said, I also like just stuff out of the blue it's fun and brings in variety. fighting threads, you bold enough for them?: Depends entirely on the muse but yeah, I do like them. I do like to have some idea of how they're mostly going to go, and I'm ALWAYS happy to have a muse lose if yours is understandably more powerful. I actually think it's quite fun to find creative ways to throw my muses at brick walls so to speak. The desperation builds character. what content warnings are on your blog?: There's a lot of body horror potential from Several muses, I've got blood mages and demons and eldritch abominations so it's not something I shy away from. I do also have some level of child abuse in several of my muses' histories along with themes of slavery and finding personhood after. what things do you need tagged for your comfort?: Just general epilepsy related tags. Flashing gifs, epilepsy warning, etc.

shipping preferences: single | multi | no ship | polyshipshipping boundaries: For the most part, as long as a person shows pretty basic respect of not autoshipping, and actually checking in with me? I'm real open for shipping. I have shipped that shit for almost my entire time in Darp which is buckwild. I love Inara(@valorcorrupt) and Alistair, Merc has given me so much emotional damage over on Orxna about it.

Yeah, I really got my legs writing in darp I think it very much helped shape who I am as a writer. Definitely helped me fine tune what kinds of characters and tropes I enjoy and work on my collaboration with cowriters just as passionate about this series as I am.

the writer is not the character. the character is not the voice actor.

this apparently needs to be spelt out to people.

you can still like something even if someone in the background is problematic. it's being able to separate fiction from reality.

look at jk rowling and how she got cancelled for one comment. harry potter is still loved by many. michael jackson - how many of you still listen to his music when the allegations came out? James Gunn - how many of you still watch the guardians of the galaxy movies and think their great?

What i'm getting at is the product is not the person behind it. you can enjoy something without endorsing the bad parts.

someone saying they like the voice of a character is not them admitting they like the voice actor - they just enjoy the voice. as someone who is audio sensitive there are some podcasts that i just cant listen to because i dont like the voice behind it - doesnt mean i dont like the person or the show... it's pained me before because i really enjoyed the show but i couldn't stand the voice. it works the other way.

liking harry potter doesnt mean you have to like jk rowling or endorse the comments she made. just appreciate the art and move on.

this is the internet.

this is a place to relax and escape.

a show is just a show.

a character is just a character.

if you dont like that character that's fine no one's going to hunt you down for it.

so don't start harassing people for a character that they do like!

Just skip past that blog - unfollow - block - or just dont follow in the first place. no one is forcing you to have anything to do with them.

you dont have to make everyone aware of the behind the scenes. let people enjoy a FICTIONAL character.

we all read fiction. we all read books/fanfics that have massive redflags on it. god knows the amount of trigger warnings in the books i have read but do we all enjoy a morally grey character that have the biggest red flags ? yes. would we go near them in real life? fuck no.

We know the difference.

I know she's got soft spots in her, and if you look closely you can catch glimpses of it, but man oh man you gotta come at her at just the right angle, be the right sort of person to slip past her defenses, or just willing to put in the work to win her over cause god damn this woman has a million in one reasons to be defensive. but it's good. she should be a rough'n'tumble hard ass of a woman. she's got every reason for it and I appreciate you not softening her up for just any excuse/reason.

She's like a hedgehog. Prickly on sight but soft underneath it all.

I think I need to write more after her contact is removed and she is able to form more bonds and relationships.

You have her down to a T though, approaching her at the right way, prove you're worth her time and you're not going to run off the moment she starts to let you in.

It would be nice to have someone she is fully soft with and can just be a passenger princess with but also I enjoy her being a rough lady u know

The dangerous part about taking a creative hiatus with ADHD is after a while you actively forget you're able to actually do the stuff you know how to do. Like, just have ability to make your hands do the typing and scribbly things.

And then when you actually get up the drive to do something, it gets done really fast and easy and you're like. "Oh, that wasn't so hard."

But at the same time you realize:

I think the trick is to just not tell people you're going to do the things, because if you do there's all this mental pressure and loss of motivation because suddenly it feels like you have to rather than want to because of expectations and "you made an announcement so you're kind of stuck with it now even though you feel like crumballs" so like...

Yeah, I'm not doing that anymore lol.

I want to do the stuff, but chances are I'll have to mind-trick myself by not telling anyone when I'm doing it :V
