feeling Mentally Strong this afternoon so going to brave watching/giffing some of last night's game
#also a little personal update as I've told loads of you about this/moaned about it in tags for a while and you've all been so supportive#v relieved to say after 3 (hellish) years of prep mr sp passed his week long assessment last week and starts his new job soon#very exciting for him career wise. and me sanity wise because even though we still need to move house this summer we don't need to relocate#and because we'll be Considerably Less Poor!!!#only downside is he has to go away for 6 weeks straight may-june to train which is far more time away than usual and I may go mad#esp if we don't make the you know whats and I have no hockey to keep me entertained#but very good news overall and thanks to my lovely friends & mutuals here who have been extremely supportive in my time of monster stress#hilariously he's had to go back to work this weekend even earlier than usual as penance for leaving so it's hockey afternoon for me :)

hi everyone, it's mostly-recovered june here! i have some small announcements to make:
firstly, thank you everyone for the extremely kind messages and patience when it came to the delay of the 3rd chapter of the color blue. I'm very grateful to have the community that I have 😭!!!!! I will be posting the new release date after it's fully edited. currently not sure when that will be but hopefully sooner than later.
something completely unrelated is that I decided I will be multifandom. in addition to genshin, I will also be writing for jjk and haikyuu (and a few other things here and there). I'm very excited!
#returning to my roots as a haikyuu writer... who wouldve ever thought id come back to my first ever fandom#okay. the rest of these tags are gonna be me yapping so dont mind me#that fever beat my ass so bad but atleast i got to call off work and catch up on a despicable amounts of fanfics#i read the most immaculately written one from a different fandom and it instantly made me rethink all of this chapter of tcb#i redesigned readers personality and made soooo many character charts it was actually ridiculous#tcb is a bit of a passion project for me just because i really want to write a dark content/ 'romance' novel so i think and work on it-#-more than i probably should#nonetheless thank you everyone. hope youre all doing well TT#june speaks!

Neira - an embroidered herb pouch
Neira is. Not good with gifts and will feel terribly guilty if you were to spend a large amount of money on her, or if you were to give her something that she couldn't appreciate fully (read: would put away somewhere and not use). She's very practical and her old pouch is... usable. but it's got a good bit of wear and tear and so a new, pretty one is something she wouldn't buy herself (the old one still works, after all), it would appreciate greatly as a gift. She'll look at it and think of you every time and be all :) about it.
Liam Hawke - a painted wooden mabari figurine
He is a sentimental bitch who misses his home and his family dearly, so getting him something small that reminds him of both (and even looks a bit like Skippy!) is a sure hit with him. This one specifically will get him sentimental because of how when he was little he'd helped an older whittler with a bad back around his shop, and as a thank you he gave him a painted mabari figure similar to this one. And he'll go on an entire tangent how that one time he and Bethany got into a fight because she smeared kaddis all over it... You might have to endure a whole ass nostalgia ramble, but that's just proof that he is very grateful for the gift.
Lilian Hawke - one of those fancy orlesian custards
Ok first of all it is Orlesian so as a Fereldan admitting that she loves it feels like a federal crime. Secondly, even after moving to Hightown she is still very conscious about spending habits, and reluctant to spend much in the way of frivolous things like overpriced sweets on herself. However. She also has a big sweet tooth, and she cannot deny that those fancy vanilla custards with the orange blossom water and fresh fruits and garnish that they have at those awful high class parties sometimes are an absolute delight. So. If you happen to get her one (the means of getting it are unimportant)? Love, love for you for one thousand years
June Trevelyan - a tailored dracolisk bridle and saddle
I could say that if you got her a magic theory (or smut) book that is on the Chantry's blacklist or maybe a baby griffin that she would love you forever, which would be true but also hard to come by lol. So i am moving down one tier and saying dracolisk equipment. June is also not great with accepting sentimental gifts, but something that aligns with her interests and can be put to good use is a safe bet to win her approval. Sure she could get new equipment herself, but Poison is fussy and it's a pain to get new stuff for her, so if you were to do that work for her and possibly even get one that looks rad to boot? Amazing wonderful do you want to kiss

a couple days back i went to use my discord bot to get my persona weaknesses checked to make a point against someone and my file was the fucking test file instead of the real one. my physical affinity is "fuck you"
#I ALSO FOUND OUT I FUCKED UP IMMENSELY IN THE SAME COMMAND#shes supposed to run off an internal ID that discord users have that isnt normally seen#but she was actually looking for people's usernames in there#which normally wouldn't be a problem ! discord did that whole discriminator thing and most people dont have their discriminators anymore#EXCEPT for two people i know. ONE OF WHICH IS ME.#so as you can imagine. fucking NIGHTMARE. she'd say 'i dont have your data!' AND THEN JUST GO GRAB YOUR DATA?#thank you for your work risette bot i love you.#im like in the process of changing all the actual shadow data (for persona 4 golden) from her 6700~ line command into files#so that a) no more bloated as shit scan command and b) its so much fucking easier to do shit#i dont fuckin know how im gonna do it for the social link command. that's a beast of its own.#mitigate the pain and agony of programming by programming stupid shit into her (going to program a command that just queues up prince.mp3)#also i direly missed her birthday. i started working on risette bot on the 8th of june last year.#oops ! axels in the tags talking about programming for a bot that he isnt going to release to the public for like another year#maybe less if i get off my ass about it but yknow. i dont like getting off my ass.
