I really loved mein perle and the hunger games au so much. The way you write Konig is so complex and skillfully done your writing is a work of art.

I just have a question the tribute from district 8 and what he did to the poor girl is there any real reason why he did it? Did he have a motif? Was it a reflection of what could have happened to Konig and reader if he held resentment towards her? Idk...

so glad y’all like the different ways i paint konig. i know there’s a lot of different preferences out there so that fact y’all are connecting with my portrayal is - qhshzhqbab. playing with konig’s character is such a blast bc there’s so much you can do with him i love that about our mysterious hooded beefcake

as for the question about district 8 - his motivation and more will be revealed in The Aftermath - but i will say that i tried to craft a heavy theme of spite being a character’s downfall in this story, so my intention was to have it parallel to the whole “i will double down on my spite even if it kills me” mindset that we see from Reader, even right from the start. there is a bit more of ‘symbolism’ in regards to the reason he did do it that does happen to parallel to Konig & Reader, but i don’t want to spoil anything :)

totally respect that, I wouldn't want to look back at my old work either, I mean, who really likes to think back to their past? especially fandom past😅😫 but tbh that fic wasn't so bad, it was short and sweet, very comforting for reading at night before bed💕 if you ever write another one, with updated headcanons, I would love to read it, I really like the brotherly bond between norway and Iceland❤️ and maybe you can throw in some scotnor too🫣

Aww, that’s really sweet of you, anon! 💕 I’m so glad you enjoyed what I wrote, this has absolutely made my entire night. It’s always so nice to hear that someone appreciates the work I put in, even if it was years ago ✨

Unfortunately though, I don’t think I will be writing another one, for multiple reasons really;

1. I don’t see Norway & Iceland as close as I used to do back then. When I wrote that fic, I was so in love with their dynamic as brothers, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve begin to think they’re not as close as I would’ve originally liked to imagine.

2. My view of sibling dynamics have changed. As a younger sister, I always wanted to be the support system that my sister was- and still is- to me. I think I was partially projecting in that fanfic. But now I’m older, I understand why it’s extremely rare for an older sibling to not lean upon a younger one as much. So, it would feel weird putting them in that situation again.

3. I just don’t really write, anymore 😅 the last fic I wrote was in 2022. I keep meaning to get back into it, I’ve had so many different fanfic ideas that have been tossed and will never see the light of day.

But ultimately, if I were to write a new one, either Norway would lean upon Sweden in his time of need instead, or it would be Iceland having the panic attack and Norway helping them out instead. Very sorry to disappoint you, anon. 💕

Happy birthday!

As a Resident Old, I would say travel as much as you can! By yourself and with friends. My grad school friends and I used to do New Years together in a different location every year and now that we all have kids it makes it much harder - I miss them!

I actually love traveling but haven't really done much of anything since the start of the pandemic, and covid on planes still freaks me out, but I've actually been considering doing more solo road trip kind of travel lately so thank you for this idea!!

nightmares have rendered me unable to sleep once again so i've been dancing in my room to Elvis music pretending K is dancing w/ me for the past 45 minutes. I think it'd be his way of trying to make me feel better. he isn't very experienced with comforting others but he hears me gasp awake, hears me crying. he knows the drill by now. he immediately gets up. takes my hands and pulls me out of bed. asks me if i want to talk about it, and if i don't, he turns on some music and swirls us around. he mimics elvis' voice while singing to the songs, knowing it'll make me laugh. when i finally do, he's smiling, saying very gently "there you are, sweetheart... there's my girl"
