I haven’t entirely decided how their whole plot is gonna go in fbau but for sure Chloe does get the fox first and similar to canon, Zoe gets it after her

I know there’s a lot of fandom drama around those two and what miraculous they get and all that stuff so apologies if fbau plans upset anyone but. my au my rules <3

I want to handle it a lot better than canon, but I don’t see fbau!Chloe getting a redemption, just a bit of a better resolution than canon

2. When I think I truly started to like them - so. I was gonna make a post about this. because the nathalie in the bubbler (the first ep I saw) is so different than what she's set in for a while--she's frazzled, a little silly, she weirdly steals marinette's present & lies (I mean. I obviously get why she does it. but the scene is so funny to me). idk, it's a side that isn't really brought up again? she's so <3 we should get more silly nathalie. as a treat.

but I think the first time I was like whoa, I kinda care about this woman? am I supposed to care about her? was that s3 ep where they just go all IN in that intro - she admits to loving gabriel & she admits she feels a bond with adrien. I think my jaw actually dropped like !!! to me then, she was just. the secretary that was hired AFTER emilie's death and then got so enmeshed in the agreste house, she wanted to be a part of it. ALSO honorable mention is the s3 finale (I love this finale so much) when nathalie accidentally witnesses the adrigaminette rooftop shenanigans and doesn't tell the gorilla they're in the ball pit. something about letting adrien have his fun.... whew !!!!

14. Best storyline they had - not to be cliche but her s5 lore, specifically passion (backstory, she says she has nothing to live for basically, asks adrien about the girl he's crushing on.... must I say more?) just rocks me. and the fact 20 years ago she made friends, close close friends, with two people who then eventually died--one of which she almost murdered HERSELF--what an incredibly interesting side story. it's tragic to me honestly. what does she do now? for the past 20+ years, her life has revolved around other people, it seems. and they're gone.

20. a weird headcanon - I am not sure I have one exactly but I keep daydreaming about an amenath scene where nathalie admits she doesn't feel like she should be the guardian for adrien, when she supported gabriel for so long. how does she move past that guilt? and amelie, from the perspective of someone who suffered under colt, helps her through it. also I think she probably was just an archaeologist student from a normal background. she probably wears the same thing bc she's the type who likes uniforms.

1) who is are your comfort characters?

Cherrie + Laurel, and Mun, are honest comfort. I have a lot more "misery" comfort characters tho. I'd like to give them proper happiness sometime, happiness I know they'd keep.

7) hair ties or scrunchies?

My roommate's the scrunchie gal, I'm a hairtie person. Scrunchies are cute, but I'd just rather have the practical option for ease.

14) do you love the smell of earth after it rains?

Petrichor? Yeah- though I mostly just love the rain. And storms. A good storm never lasts as long as I want though :(

31) what kind of music keeps you grounded?

...........some OST music...? I'd give a proper answer if I was better at staying grounded, but as of late that hasn't been happening.

Youtube, to the point it's an actual problem. But outside of that miserable shorts-site, I also play a lot of viddy game.

48) when did you first try an alcohol beverage?

A handful of scattered times, always relatively supervised. First time I can remember was a friend's dad's beer, didn't like it. First time I actually tried a drink I liked, 20 and at my sister's house.

(if anyone tries to give my paranoid ass grief about drinking, I'm in my mid-20s, I have a system with limits, I never drink and drive as a rule, and I don't drink more than once a month/every few months. I've done my homework, I know what I'm avoiding.)

chloenette!! i like them in fics But only a Specific Flavour, and i think their dynamic is SO interesting in canon- chloe is such a tragic character doomed by her own choices and actions, and marinette is in the centre of it all!!! the person she hurt the most and ALSO the person who was willing to give her chance after chance!! and chloe actually DID take that chance but once she felt unimportant and once the Path To Redemption™ became rockier she fell back on her old ways!!! i love how their dynamic has unfolded in canon actually its soo missed chances doomed one sided obsession and i love that for them 💕

• probably bumped into the dagger squad in the hard deck or i knew one of the members from a friend of a friend and we weren’t super close but maybe bumped into each other again and hit it off

• i’d get along with fanboy or bob the most. mickey bc i’m a bit of a nerd and i love movies and learning about how they make them and the behind the scenes stuff and i love marvel and star wars too so we’d definitely have long debates conversations about them too. and bob bc with more extroverted people i can become more introverted and i am a bit more of an observer but i can definitely hold my own

• so naturally the squad is gorgeous…and well i’m a bully flirt? with gorgeous people bc idk how to react and my brain goes poof so besides the bi-panic i’d be verbally sparring hangman and being a bit mean to rooster as well (i’m sorry, ily both)

• imagining girls nights with phoenix and bob, beach days playing dogfight football with the squad bc i’m competitive af and love sports and maybe even early morning runs with roos

• as much as i love them, i feel like we’d have more of a found family/sibling relationship so i probably wouldn’t end up dating in the squad but if i did it would probably be fanboy (he fell first but she fell harder/friends to lovers) but regardless it would be like having a ton of overprotective older brothers

• cue being set up on dates by the squad and them about to fight anyone who is even the slightest bit mean or does something wrong and having penny and mav as the group parents (and ice if he’s still alive)

📖 - what is your s/i's backstory? how does it make them meet your f/o(s)?

again, hq!ada is about as 1:1 with me as canon permits lol so she went to japan on exchange at the start of first year (it ended up being. quite a bit longer than just first year lmao is it still exchange if there is no take backsies HJDSS)

as for how we meet, i think i would’ve wanted to join the swim team initially but obv we can’t have that lolol so i just imagine i had some sort of mild injury at the time such that i skipped out on trials. in the first few days, i made friends with some of the other girls in my class and one of them suggested i try out a more managerial position, and the volley club was wide open, and the rest is history !! tehe

I don’t have a final design for Hawkmoth yet, only concepts!!

Gabriel is the character you never see the face of, and has more of a monochrome palette with a hint of purple, but overall he looks very designer-ish!

I decided to make Gabriel faceless because I think it would really show Adrien’s disconnected relationship with his father!

Adrien sees Gabriel as an authority figure that has complete control over his life but no presence in it. It also leaves room for the nature of Gabriel’s intentions towards Adrien for interpretation!!

Does he talk to Adrien with an irritated face, or concerned but too ill-informed to do anything about it? When Adrien was talking about school to him, did he look surprised or bored?? We’ll never know!!

And when do we see the big bad villain who has made everyone in the show’s life miserable? When we finally see the face behind the conflict?

When he’s begging Gimmi to give him his wife back.

It would so cool for it to be the first time we see Gabriel’s face is when he’s vulnerable, desperate, and exhausted. It would humanize him, but raise the question; was everything he did for the love of his family, or the actions of a man driven to insanity by grief?
