I am very glad you liked the post. Personally, I don't understand why Maya is such a divisive character and I just wanted give my perspective for why I, personally, do not think she is the devil incarnate. I always try to explain my point of view, especially if I know there is a large portion of the fandom that disagrees.
I know that there are people that vehemently hate Maya. I also know that there are people that vehemently defend her (I am one of them), but the way the fandom has been treating each other over this character has made me hesitant to post anything. So I am very happy to see that there are other people that don't hate Maya that have seen my post. There are also other people that have explained why Maya is such a good character just as well, if not better than I have.

My first itabag! A bit of this a bit of that, ROTTMNT, Tsuritama and Chainsaw Man with a touch of Sonic, Dorohedoro, Gintama, Pandora Hearts, Osomatsu-san and ocs.
It’s a bit of a mess but I love the hobby and I doubt this’ll be my last one, I might tweak this one a bit too, or get another insert to swap out. Some charms at the bottom hang too low, and there were other things I wanted to put in the bottom corners too. I might put a big Hozuki keychain I have on the side hmm… With this size it’d have been fun building around putting in my 12" Metal Sonic Jazwares figure and a Metal Sonic plush I have, but ahh some other day… I struggled with it because the weight of it all made the insert sag and fold over, I didn’t see anything on the topic online so what I did is I found a big sturdy cardboard, and pinned the finished insert to it… Two cardboards for good measure. Oh also my badges have reflective plastic covers.

Happy New Year, everyone!
Last March I posted a poll on what long fic to write next, and in a vaguely ironic series of events, despite choosing my OC fic, pivoted to my Thrawn Secret Empire AU before it got ran over by Ahsoka - and I did finish it! More, I made some really good progress on my original work, so that's two that I mostly finished this year!
But now it's another year, and I have plenty more WIPs to work on, so help me decide (and we'll see what the year brings):

I saw your post about your gender feelings. Hang in there, bud.
If it helps, I was once told that no cis person ever questions "what they are", they just are. I get the imposter syndrome though, and the disconnect between your day to day and a small haven of peace where you can be yourself. I come from a conservative background, without any of the queer influences I enjoy today.
We're constantly growing, constantly learning new things about ourselves; I think that's part of the journey of being queer, rather than any indication you don't belong or aren't queer enough. You have a significant added challenge in exploring too and I hope one day they're gone. Much love and solidarity to queer Russians. 💜🤍💛💚

Thank you, that thing about cis people not questioning kinda helped actually. I was told same about mental health issues (at least those can be confirmed with a paper and a stamp, huh). So i guess yeah. True. It's just the terf rhethoric about being confused and actually just seeking a way around patriarchy and all that bullshit that gets under my skin.
I'm happy you're free from those things in your past though, gonna live out my gay dreams through you and your art then, lol <3
I think another thing that is gnawing at me is that I am actually priviledged (and/or lucky). I had a lot of queer experiences that many other queer people here are absolutely robbed of. So it feels as if I'm kinda taking what they deserve more. Or that I can't be grateful enough for being able to have these things while others can't because I'm out here not even knowing what I am.

Just found out my childhood best friend is engaged... logically this makes perfect sense considering she's only a few months younger than me, completely normal thing to happen, but considering she is and will always be either 8 or 15 in my head, this is fucking bizarre.
#we haven't talked since we were 19#since she sad drunk messaged me after we fell out and I replied and never heard back#only found out because I was actually looking up someone else I used to know and clicked onto her facebook by chance#I'm very happy for her I'm just also kinda stunned like#isn't it bizarre that your favourite person in the universe from ages 6 to 19 is going to marry someone they met after you left their life?#and you won't be there? isn't that weird?#yes yes it is#isn't it weird you fell out in part because she stood you up two days before you moved country#after you'd cancelled on your grandmother to make time for her? just to get told you never made time for her?#so you didn't get to say goodbye to either and now it's 9 years later and they're both gone (in different ways)#but you're still here in your kingdom of burned bridges#the passage of time is bizarre. anyway I hope he makes you happy girl#sorry everyone loves that poem I wrote about you#thanks for being my bi awakening
