Hornigold's Izzy was the worst, of course. A version of himself that never escaped that terrible place, who lived his life as little more than an object. He still has nightmares about all the things Baz told them, about all the things he didn't.

It doesn't really surprise him, after the first ones, not at its root. To be Izzy Hands is to be someone's after all, though seeing his own face on someone so fundamentally different to him never gets less weird. The people who these other Izzys attached themselves too often left him with more questions than answers. Jack's Izzy, he can understand, from a certain view, though the man himself felt like a fever dream. The less said about Stede's Izzy the better, he's never going to forgive him for the ideas he put in his Stede's head.

Then there was Sam's Izzy.

The first thing anyone noticed about him was that he was happy. He smiled and laughed without thought, and went through life with an ease Izzy didn't think he had ever felt. The crew took to him immediately, accepting him in a way they never did the other Izzys, and certainly not their own. They prodded him and asked him endless questions, and he took every touch without a flinch and answered every question without a hint of a grumble. This Izzy was free. He was open, unburdened, trusting. He was happy.

Sam's Izzy was the one that hurt the most to see. He could accept the worst that Hornigold could've offered, that he would have suffered and been broken. It was infinitely harder to see that he had a chance to be this happy. That it slipped through his fingers.

He's never looked back before, but now? Seeing what might've been? He can't stop himself from considering the possibility that maybe he made the wrong choice back then, going with Ed.

I LOVE RIDDLE!!!!!! He's my favorite (no one look at Rollo or Skully or the fish,,, they don't exist). (ꈍᴗꈍ)♡ I've written a few fics for him and there are plenty more in my drafts just waiting to be finished and published. He was the first twst character I loved (and still love of course hehe)!! >w<

I was very obsessed with Riddle in 2020 and now that I'm here in 2024 everything makes so much sense. T_T Riddle and I are very similar, so perhaps I like him so much because I can relate to him. It's scary how many things we have in common. ;;;;; even my lore aligns with his a little bit, but instead of mommy issues I was cursed to have daddy issues LOL. I'm really not sure which is worse, but either way I completely understand Riddle's struggles. OTL guy with mommy issues + girl with daddy issues...... Riddle, we could be an unstoppable pair. Please..... just one chance....... orz orz

I just really love Riddle's character and his development!!!! How stringent he is with himself and those around him in book one. How he gradually learns to have fun and be more gentle and lenient with himself and his dorm members after his overblot, learning to manage his anger and other negative feelings in healthy ways. How he only continues to develop and change and improve himself as time passes. His dedication and determination. How prideful he can be when it comes to academics. He knows he's amazing; he's not going to be humble if it comes up in conversation, and he has every right to brag and ignore modesty after what he went through to get there. 😌

I could ramble forever about why he's so wonderful. His design is lovely, his personality is great, his lore HURTS, HE'S RED!!!!!! MY FAVORITE COLOR!!!! THE COLOR I LOOK BEST IN. AAAAAAAA and those moments where he's genuinely gullible. He's so cute,,,, getting fooled by Trey's oyster sauce trick. But then he's always so curious and he loves learning and he's stubborn and won't give up once he sets his mind to something. AND HIS SMILE IS SO PRECIOUS. ALSO ALSO!!!! He's so witty and funny, especially when he doesn't even intend to be!!! There's really so much I can say about him!!!! Endless praise and affection!!!!!!!!! 💖 he's the best.

felix had taken your children out for a tea party with claude and athanasia, but as you were feeling under the weather, you smiled and told him to go on. you figured you might as well look for a scarf that had been lost for some time, and then, not intending to, you came across the letter.

pages upon pages, detailing what you both have done and gone through; he has wound them together on heavy parchment, sealed it shut, left it in the sun to shine.

and he has given a last parting gesture.

'every where all i see is you, [name]. if i see flowers, i think of the time you tried to arrange them. if i see the stars, i think of the time we stayed up till 2 and you taught me about artemis and icarus and who else. i see one book on sculpture and i remember how you like to slander the older statues.

15. First thing they remember feeling proud of

They're quite a prideful person and insanely confident in themself to boot, but the proudest moment for them, and what they'd count as their first proud moment, was when Misunmar was able to walk from Raseyl to them. It doubled when, in that same day, Raseyl shared with them some of her deepest insecurities and that their words and love and care meant a lot to her in soothing some of them.

Q. First act of non-sexual intimacy (e.g. washing the other's hair, taking a bath together, sharing food)

For Sirestia and Miraak, the very very first act of intimacy was before they were even together. As Master Forger in the Dragon Cult, Sires was alone in their forge, no one else was allowed in. And so, when Miraak entered and was allowed to stay, it was marked as their first sort of intimate time together. Nothing and no one else around, just them two, maskless and talking.

W. First time they realized their relationship is endgame... or isn't

I kid. It isn't until the Fourth Era that the two of them fully realize that nothing and no one else will ever be what they want or need. And it takes a sprinkling of death, despair, and desperation to make itself incredibly well known to them. They love each other, they need each other, but it takes being without one another to really cement it.

I think there's a moment where they're lying in bed together, just enjoying the other's company and everything feels right, like everything had finally slid into place and they didn't need anything else.

🤩. First big inspiration for writing (an author? a piece of media? a plot idea?)

So for Sires fic it was because of friends :> I was building on Sirestia (and Haev)'s lore and sorta thought, why not ! I just needed to get my ducks in a row, as wild and free as they were, and crack into it. (Thank you to you 🫵 for being one of them Lumi 🫶)

But my first ever fic was because I was unfortunately in the 1D fandom in my first year of highschool and had the audacity (something I wish I still had). So it was inspired by whatever the hell was going on with Wattpad in 2012, some of my friends either showing me or writing 1D fics, and whatever brain chemistry I had back then that allowed me to think it was good (shout out to that one irl friend of mine who told me she read it (found it organically) and told me it was good. It wasn't, looking back, but I still thank her).
