2. Album of the year?

I had this one locked in for awhile: Raven - Kelela. She still brought the bops but mostly lowered the frequency so the soundscape pulls you adrift in this ocean of healing. I've taken the album to be about how powerful it can be to protect our inner peace even if it isolates us from what we know and forces us to change. I found it really soothing all throughout the year, and it served as a gateway to discovering more ambient artists like Grouper.

My favorite song is Holier but Closure is a stoner banger.

i cannot get over your writing, the way you’re able to give to much depth to characters in a single chapter. i swear ive reread marley and me about 6 times so its exciting to have you back!! can’t wait to see what else you write

this is so nice! i really, really appreciate you saying that! i try so so so hard to make the characters jump off of the “page”, so this is unbelievably high praise for me. ahhh! six times??? that’s so amazing. i have quite a few fics that i reread religiously, and it’s so cool that others like my writing to reread my works like this. i just edited the first chapter of “marley and me” because i caught so many grammatical errors (i’m hideously embarrassed about it 😅). i’m so so happy to be back!
