7. what's the last thing you read that made you cry?

my mark for my first spanish translation coursework uhh i don't actually know off the top of my head. i haven't read many fandom things recently, and certainly nothing that has actually brought on tears... maybe this is a sign haha

8. bed sharing or roommates au?

bed sharing, probably. it's just funnier to me. throwing their hands up in the air because 'WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S ONLY ONE, WE BOOKED A DOUBLE' 'yeah a... a double bed it seems, not room...' (i'm writing that down, nice one helia) and i don't think i've ever done a roommates au myself. the tension's just different (and juicier mwahaha)

17. describe a fic that is still in the 'ideas' stage

i'll be here for a decade. and that's just picking the fic lmao. but... sure! i spun a wheel for this haha :')

so, a fun idea i've had that comes and goes is a highwayman au. i feel like it's an aspect of english history that i've not actually seen done in fandom, but i think it suits Arthur nicely - similarly to how the pirate image suits him. it's that romanticisation of the dangerous and deadly. the rogue who ventures the english countryside on horseback, holding carriages at gunpoint, stealing from the rich, running from the law... it was one of my favourite things from studying GCSE History: Crime & Punishment. will always recommend Horrible Histories' Dick Turpin song for something silly and light-hearted lmao.

back to the fic: of course, one night, mr. highwayman Kirkland might just happen on the carriage of, say... the son of a foreign ambassador. and perhaps Arthur does his work as normal, and perhaps his victim gains a morbid fascination with the perpetrator... or maybe Arthur finds himself not wanting to steal away money and jewels, for once, but a far greater prize. how much would a ransom be, he wonders...

my instinct would naturally be to go with engspa for this fic. maybe that's obvious in hindsight haha. Antonio would be the kind to put up some kind of fight, wanting to defend his family, his honour, his wealth, etc etc. he wouldn't just hand anything over. the back-and-forth would be funny, but Antonio may also see some kind of charm in this mysterious rogue. it's the sort of exchange that could see Toni slung over a horse fairly fast,, wink wonk ;3

but i also think it could lead to an interesting dynamic with Port, who i feel would almost just hand over what he has to Arthur because frankly he doesn't want to be in the miserable country anyway so maybe this will convince his father to let him go home (finally). which is actually quite funny. and if Arthur could promise him adventure, or prove that England isn't all misery, maybe, for a night, Port might just follow him to a tavern, or to a room above an inn...

two options. anyone steal it and i bite your toes >:)

(anyway, i'd say it'd be something short, but you know me. if i start it, it'll unravel and become a 50 chapter work somehow haha,, a whole adventure!)

however anon thank you SO much for requesting this bc it gave me an excuse to draw them more <3 i love reggie and bud but i haven’t quiiiite figured out their dynamic yet so drawing them together is a bit tough. i’d love to sit and listen to a liquiroot enjoyer talk about them though like i’m intrigued. me when there’s a plant guy and a dude made of water 🫶💕🌅

Ya wanna know my technique for getting around 17.5 candles a day without going Everywhere?

Geyser -> Brook Candle Cake and Light Farm -> Grandma -> Sunset Turtle

Then just do:

Whatever realm has the treasure candles for the day

Basic Vault (focus on the candle cakes)

Village of Dreams and Hermit Valley cakes

And then maybe the bouquets from Performance, the cake in Wind Paths, and then the cake in Starlight Desert (since the path to it is right next to the one in Wind Paths)

Super fast and doesn't take too much effort aside from getting to the timed events on time and dealing with Vault

“That bright one?”

Danny moves her finger to the right slightly, squinting to see if it’s at the right angle. “There. See how it glows?”

She hums, pulling Danny back to lie in the grass. They’re in the park, looking up at the night sky as they wait for Tucker to join them. Ghost patrol was fast because–for once–Danny caught a break. It’s rare that they have the chance to just…relax together anymore. 

“Did you know that Venus was the luckiest roll in a dice game as well?”

Sam snorts as she stretches in the grass. “No, but that seems like some weird thing you’d know. Where’d you pick it up from?”

“Pandora.” Danny’s grin isn’t visible in the dark, but it leaks into his voice like sunlight on a rock. “She’s trying to teach me how to play.”

“How’s training going with her?”

“I’m learning how to use a sword and a spear. Which is a sentence I never thought I’d say in my life.”

“Danny.” Sam’s voice is dry. “You live with your parents. It’s not that far off, honestly.”

“Touche.”

The two lie in silence, broken only by the crash of bushes as Tucker joins them.

Overhead, Venus is rising.

the idea of best friends lewis and nico both having a crush on the same guy and That's what causes them to fight??? hilarious concept I'm actually kind of obsessed with this.

I think it's extra funny because they'd definitely go about 'wooing' Jenson in completely opposite ways, but they'd both be sooooo petty about it. Lewis would definitely go for the gentler probably more romantic approach, where he'd keep asking Jenson if they could hang out and taking him on more and more romantic dates. whereas Nico it would be full on seduction they'd start having sex almost immediately (it's Jenson, come on) and Nico would be staring into Jenson's eyes sending him psychic messages like 'this is romantic you are finding this romantic' ....

Lewis and Nico definitely brag about what they've each been doing with Jenson to each other and then seethe with jealousy about it while pretending they don't care in the slightest. idk how this all ends but maybe they both confront Jenson like 'so which one of us are you in love with' and Jenson gives them the most pathetic pout and is like 'both of you'... this only pisses them off more <3

Lewis: well you've never been on a date with Nico Nico: so? he's been inside me i think that counts more Jenson: i have two hands 🥰 Lewis and Nico: shut the fuck up Jenson

Sorry wait hold on that post just reminded me Sora saved Sanji from some of the effects of the genetic engineering by poisoning herself. She didn't just die of a random illness or of the stress of carrying and delivering superhuman children she actually poisoned herself to death to save them.
