Hello! 💕✨️ Ohh I'm not a big watcher 🥲 but I do have some favorites: What We Do In The Shadows both the movie and tv series, absolutely cheer me up so much everytime 🥹 And Adventure Times for when I need my brain sufficiently scrambled, easy to watch from any episode 🍳

This is going to be a very out of left field suggestions, I used to read and watch a lot of detective and crime movies. Some of my favorites were A Touch Of Frost (UK, 1992) was kinda cute but still serious series about a detective who refused to learn and was a pain in the ass to his colleagues xD, Maigret (France, 1991) - very visually pleasing, one of those series where the plot is slow and kinda poetic (I read the book too but it sucked 😭 every female character was described by the shape of her boobs 🫠, the book was written in the 60s tho), and The Brigde (Denmark/Sweden, 2011) but only the 1st season (follow-ups were overdone imo). This one was a really heavy watch but probably one of the best detective tv series I've seen. And on a silly note, Psych! (USA, 2006) was a very funny detective comedy, one of the rare ones that had sharp humor that surprisingly didn't age badly 😂

I kind of like a bit older movies or tv series because it's also fun to watch how fashion and the style of living have changed 😁 and you know they're already completed, no risk of being cancelled 😅

11. Do they have empathy? For whom? For what?

Vaune has a ton of empathy, even before her perspective on the world got completely flipped. She acts like she doesn’t care about random people who are suffering, but after she’s done showboating and blabbing on about how none of that shit is her problem, she’ll step in and do what she can to help. Vaune somehow constantly finds herself standing up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. She thought that was gonna be the thing to get her killed.

15. How do they kill? Do they try to minimize suffering?

Once she’s in survival mode, she tries to kill as quickly and efficiently as possible. Head shots are her preferred method, but not really because she cares about who she’s killing. She just wants to get the dirty business out of the way.

16. What haunts them?

Johnny lmao The time she wasted trying to be a living legend instead of building connections. Sure she had Jackie, but once he was gone, Vaune realized just how truly alone she is. She longed for family. She longed for people to have a true, deep connection with — who would do anything for her the way she would do for them. Vaune wants someone to be by her side when she dies.

Avi’li has always had a love and appreciation for living things; he respects things as they are and tries to understand and adapt to the culture and community around him. When he first moved to Limsa Lominsa, he worked hard to adapt to the culture, and enjoys everything the city has to offer him. With the beast tribes, he enjoys building connections with them and learning more about their problems and their traditions and way of life.

Especially after Shadowbringers, he’s more aware of his place in the universe than ever, and his connection to the world has only strengthened.

Philia 3. What qualities does your OC most value in a friend? Loyalty? Shared sense of humour? Or something else?

Conviction, passion, steadfast ideals, innate kindness and weird senses of humor are all elements his closest friends share. He admires people like that and gravitates to them regardless of finer personality details. Especially if they can help and stand fast beside each other to see their goals and dreams fulfilled? All the better.

Pragma 4. After the initial fires of passion cool to some degree, what would keep your OC engaged in a relationship? Shared goals? Similar values? Or contented companionship?

Avi is demiromantic so actually a shared foundation is necessary to any romantic relationship. It doesn’t even have to be deep friendship, just Something to relate over that’s core to what Avi’li is experiencing in the moment.

Without that, if someone he’s sleeping with/casually dating had romantic feelings for him, he will feel guilty about not feeling the same way and break it off.
