Your eyes shifted to stare at your stepbrother George, you then quickly glanced away when he looked over at you. Shotou had come to pick you up from school today. Even though he had a busy schedule himself, he still made time for you, just like the rest if your family.

"How was school?" He asked.

Rei had prepared a little feast for you, everything was made from scratch. Enji was beaming with joy, he was so proud of his little girl. Rei had made your favourite cake, kissing your cheek as you cut it. Enji had gotten you beautiful diamond necklace. Natsuo, Shotou and Fuyumi had gotten you some gifts as well, stuff you had vaguely mentioned about. Dabi wasn't home, but you didn't mind his absence.

Your family had planned to spend the night on the couch cuddling and doing a movie marathon, but when you asked them to excuse you for the night because you were feeling tired, they became a but worried. You reassured them that you just had a long day at school as well, and now that you were stuffed with Rei's delicious food, sleep was inevitable. They nodded, a bit sad that you wouldn't be joining, but understanding nonetheless.

You went up the stairs to your room, and as soon as you closed the door, the smile you had been displaying all night was wiped off.

You sat on your bed and recalled the events of the day. Tears pricked your eyes, but you kept yourself quiet. They're not worthy crying over, you reminded yourself. Still, you couldn't help but crumple up your report card and throw it in the dustbin.

Silent tears fell from your eyes, no longer being able to hold them in. God, its infuriating.

Suddenly, you heard someone knock on your bedroom door. You looked at the clock. 12 am.

Its Dabi.

You couldn't deal with him tonight. You remained silent, hoping he'd leave you alone.

But of course not.

Dabi was about to laugh at you when he suddenly noticed the your face. Your eyes were full of tears, lashes heavy with them. Your face was flush, your nostrils flared, your lips in a pulled in a tight scowl. Had you been crying? Or did he make you cry?

"Just leave me alone." You said as you angrily wiped the tears from your face.

Dabi was shocked to see you like this. He had never seen you cry, not even when he took his teasing a little too far. So, to see you react like this, it worried him a bit.

"Have you been crying? What's the matter? Did you fail or something?" His voice actually held some concern.

You shook your head, pulling your ponytail loose. "Its nothing. Just leave."

Dabi could see the pain in your eyes. What happened? He plopped down on your bed next to you. "Come on. Tell me." He poked your shoulder. "You know I won't leave until you tell me."

"Its nothing, really." You sniffled, avoiding his gaze.

"Did Enji say something?" Dabi asked, his voice taking a dangerous tone. "Look at me. Did he do something?" He's going to kill that bastard if he-

"What? No. God, just go."

Dabi let out a huff. He'll have to use another strategy. "Fine. Don't tell me. I'll just tell Shotou you have been crying, and then you can answer to him."

Shotou? God, he would just overthink everything and do something stupid.

You caught his wrist just as he was about to leave. "Do you have to be such a jerk every single day?" You glared daggers at him.

Dabi smirked before pulling his wrist away and plopping on the bed next to you. "Yes. Big brother privileges." He poked your cheek. "Now spill."

You looked at him, hoping he'd just get blasted magically. Idiot.

You inhaled deeply before closing your eyes. "Its stupid, really." Dabi stared at you, signalling for you to continue. "Something... happened at school." You paused. "Just a couple of assholes."

Dabi was attentive now. "Go on."

You looked down at your lap, playing with your fingers. "Some kids in my class... they said mean things about me."

"Bullying?" Dabi quirked an eyebrow.

You shook your head. "I- I don't think so. They just said that I only get the highest grade in class because of my dad. Like Enji bribes the school into giving me good marks." You sniffled. "They undermine me. They say I'm not good enough to be in their school, and that the only reason I got in was because of my surname."

Tears dripped down your face slowly, almost as if they were ashamed to fall.

You wiped them away harshly. "And it doesn't matter what I say. I've tried to befriend them, I've tried to get along with them, but they still ridicule me. Its frustrating. They... they don't understand that my only option is to be the best." You whispered the last part, but Dabi heard you loud and clear.

He sat up and gently gripped your chin, turning your face towards him as he narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean 'its your only option'?"

You rolled your eyes. "You know what I mean. I know that no one in the family cares if I get the highest marks or not but...I still have to live up to the family name. What will people say if the number 1 hero's kid is both quirkless and dumb?" Your lips wobbled.

Dabi sighed before pulling you close to him. Placing an arm around your shoulders while his other hand wiped your tears away.

"You're an idiot." Dabi began, carding his fingers through your hair. "You don't have to be the best. You're not expected to. You know, the family knows, hell even I know how hard you worked to get in that school. I've seen how you'd do all nighters, how many times you've turned down going out so that you could do well in your exams. But you don't have to do that." He tilted your chin up, staring into your glossy eyes. "We don't care what the public thinks of us. We won't care if you fail. We don't care you're quirkless. You're not expected to be anything but a good girl." He squished your cheeks together, making you look like a fish. "You just need to be safe. Do you understand?"

You sniffled as you nodded. "Yes. Thank you."

Dabi smiled. "Why didn't you tell anyone before?" You shrugged in response. "You know what would've happened if I said anything. They're already hesitant to let me go to school, this would just give them another reason to homeschool me. Besides, I didn't let their words get to me before, so it really wasn't a big deal." Before? You were about to continue but then kept your mouth shut. But Dabi saw that. He pulled you away from him, his eyes turning sharp as he raised his eyebrows. "But something else happened today as well?"

You averted his scrutinising gaze, keeping your lips sealed as you shook your head no. "Do not lie to me. Or I'll tell Shotou and Enji and then they can handle-"

Your eyes widened. "Do you ever stop making threats?" Rolling your eyes, you told him what happened. "It wasn't anything serious. One of those jerks... thought it'd be funny to try and kiss me. When he tried to force me, I slapped him. Really hard. My handprint still on his face." You smiled at that. "He said the only reason he wasn't using his quirk on me was because I was Todorokis charity case. Then he said that I should be grateful that he was going to kiss me, especially since no one cares about a quirkless, frigid bitch like me." You let out a humourless laugh, but Dabi could see the pain in your eyes. You gave a small smile. "Dont worry. I already know what they said isn't true."

Thats it.

Dabi was already planning murder. He's going to make those little shits pay for what they did to you. The nerve to not only bully you, but make you cry, and then touch you? Dabi is gonna make sure they get tortured in every way possible before he incinerates them-

"Dabi?"

Your soft voice pulled him out of his violent thoughts.

"Can you... stay the night?"

He looked at your tear stricken face, your eyes were still laden with tear drops, your nose red from all the sniffling.

Dabi hummed. "Dont think I don't know why you're doing this."

You smiled softly. He caught on to why you were keeping him home that night; you knew he would do something terrible to those guys. "Promise me you won't hurt them?"

Dabi remained silent. You pulled your head away to look up at him. "Dabi. Promise."

When he didn't reply, tears started forming your eyes. He sighed, before shoving your face back into his chest. "Fine, crybaby. I won't hurt them. Promise." You're such a brat, stopping him from doing his big brother duties.

You went back to snuggling him, not taking long for you to finally go to sleep. Once Dabi made sure you were asleep, he pulled out his phone and texted Toga.

answering a couple anon asks in one, topics addressed include how i got my job, infinity train opinions, commission prices:

Thank you!! And it was the former, one of the backgrounds leads who was handling hiring for the studio found my work via portfolio day on twitter and e-mailed me cold LOL this tweet specifically.

They offered me a bg paint test, testing process took abt a week and then there was an interview and then I was hired..! Though out of the crop of new hires I was brought on with many of them were more proactive, getting in touch w staff via linkedin or alumni connections, asking around for apps and openings etc. Honestly I feel pretty lucky that they found my work because the studio wasn’t rly on my radar. For me, it was like a year out of recovery from a pretty bad health thing and i was feeling down about my art and tired of dead end job apps, preparing to move back to my parents house LOL... it rly came at the right time.

Thank you!! This is a hard question... I love every season and all the characters for different reasons. I guess.... Lake? Is my favorite character overall?? I just think she’s such a break-out star like if you had to have a infinity train character represent the series in super smash brothers it’d be her LOL. I think a lot of the characters of infinity train are products by their story but in the case of book 2 the story is a product of lake. but ALSO if you could mash Min-Gi and Ryan to count as a single character they might win out for my fave spot whos to say. their character push and pull is so subtle but endlessly fascinating and also i have asian diaspora feeling about them that cannot be discounted LOL. And I think overall my favorite season is actually book 3.... though 2 comes super close (And is maybe more better constructed from a technical perspective... imo)!! And I love 1 and 4 for their unique aspects as well like they’re all excellent stories in their own rights imo. It’s hard to compare.

Hi, I’m sorry you probably sent this ask a while ago. I don’t currently have commissions open because I am very busy and I anticipate to continue to be busy for... several more months at least. Sorry! :( I love doing commissions but I only have so much time in the day.... when I open them up again I’ll definitely post about it on tumblr and twit for sure! (idk abt insta LOL... i’m always of 2 minds whether to post on insta bc i feel least connected to my audience there) as for a price sheet.... well I can’t promise anything but I think loosely it’d look something like 1 character full body $70 (additional character +$30). Anything with a background would be $125+.... I like to do comics commissions for like $110 per page. Um... and I’m happy to work with a commissioner if they’re looking for something specific like a specific style or format. Also I am willing to work with limited budgets/time constraints if I have the time hehe!! Like I love doing commissions for ppls birthdays/anniversaries/gifts etc. It’s rly just a matter of e-mailing me and hashing it out *** WHEN I AM OPEN LOL.... I am not open right now. But if u want to plan for it ...I hope that helps...!

oh gosh anon, this has been sitting in my inbox for months, i'm so sorry! might be a lil boring, but! i'm all for stupid levihan banter and it made me really happy to write this :) hope u like it!

Under the cover of night, a hooded figure crept through darkness. On the security cameras, it was nothing but a questionable shadow—blink once and it was gone. That’s how it always went.

“What the—“

Reiner turned, peering down the outdoor alleyway. His fellow security guard was no longer standing under a small lamp hanging above the corner of the building.

“B-Bertholdt?” he called?

Before Reiner could call out once more, he heard a voice whispering behind him into his right ear.

“If you open the door, I’ll let you off easy.”

Eyeing the crowbar on the ground, Reiner reached quickly. But he was too late—a hand grabbed him by the forearm. He struggled and was quickly brought to the ground.

“How could someone so small bring me down so fast??” he thought. Before he could even elbow back, he felt a needle sink into his neck, and he yelled out.

The hooded figure stood up.

“Just a small sedative—don’t worry. You won’t remember that a guy half your size took u down in less than...” He peered at his wristwatch—“20 seconds.”

As the hooded teen stood up, a small buzz vibrated in his pocket.

He unlocked his phone, the glow lighting up his face, the dark circles under his eyes now looking much more prominent.

A text from Erwin: “Levi, thermal imaging shows no one else in the building. Meet back with Nanaba in an hour.”

Levi shoved his phone back into his pocket, and got to work. He lifted a limp Reiner off the ground and dragged his arm up to the sensor, pressing his thumb against the fingerprint scanner—“Access Granted” blinked on the small screen as he heard the little click of the door unlocking from the inside. He dusted his hands off on his grey denim jeans, and crept inside.

The slight squeaking of his sneakers on the metal floor panels echoed as he searched for the room he was looking for. On his way he saw a pair of glasses resting on a side table at the end of a hallway, which he found quite strange—who’d just forget their glasses? Erwin confirmed no one else was around. After a few seconds, he decided to shrug it off.

Finally, he reached the last door in the winding hallway. Shining a special penlight, he watched as fingerprints appeared on the keypad on the doorknob, and once he figured out his code, he punched it in with the end of his penlight, and he was in.

Levi breathed a sigh of relief, and pulled down his hood. His least favorite part of the job—he had always been more of the fighter of their team, the brawn, not exactly the brains. But Mike made sure he learned how to break into computer systems, and Levi absolutely hated that process, with Mike’s constant teasing at how dense his brain was to this stuff. Levi grumbled as he sat down, figuring his way in.

Maybe 10 minutes passed, and he continued to struggle figuring his way through the complicated firewalls. In frustration he buried his head into hands for a few seconds, and took a deep breath. Before he could look back up, he suddenly felt a hand pat his back encouragingly.

“There, there, you almost got it!”

Completely startled, Levi jumped up, knocking down the chair he was sitting on and assumed a fighting stance, fists up beside his face. He was caught off guard and completely unprepared: he had no more sedative syringes left, no other weapons on hand. He stared at the person who stood before him, probably the same age as him—no more than 19—a smile on their face, brown hair falling out of the poor hair tie trying to hold the mess up, a can of soda in their right hand and a small bag of chips in their left and— they were wearing the same pair of glasses he saw outside?

His mind raced.

How did they sneak in without him noticing just now? Why are they holding snacks in their hands? Why in God’s name were they smiling at him? And most importantly, they were wearing those glasses, so they had to have been around when a Erwin did the thermal scan—how did they manage to go undetected??

Obnoxious crunching roused him from his thoughts. Mouth full of half-chewed chips, they answered: “Oh! Yes! My friend Moblit and I managed to invent this little guy help us evade thermal scanners! No one knows we’ve been spending nights here for years!” They said as they pointed down to a small metal band around their ankle.

Levi was so shocked, he didn’t even realized he said that last thought out loud. He didn’t know what to do exactly, but they didn’t… seem like a threat…

Levi grumbled, and returned to his work, and she blabbered on and on about how their “cooling band” or whatever the hell they called it work as he kept trying to break through the firewall. He almost regretted not tying them up and slapping tape over their mouth so he could concentrate—the next comment was the last straw.

“You’re pretty scrawny, I was quite shocked when I watched you take down those 2 buffoons that call themselves security guards. You know… you don't look like a professional criminal!”

Levi almost threw the keyboard against the wall.

“Oh sorry, let me go make myself look like Hannibal Lector or something, Four-Eyes!”

They smiled.

“Wow, a nickname! So we’re friends already, Levi!”

Levi paused, “…How did you know my name?”

“It’s right here! Levi Ackerman… Address: 126—“ they listed off as they read off the driver’s license ID they pulled out of his wallet.

Levi snatched his wallet back. “When the hell did you take that??”

He almost screamed in annoyance. “Instead of just sitting here annoying the hell out of me or some shit, why don’t you help me or something??”

They walked up behind Levi, rested their chin nonchalantly on his shoulder, and reached their arms around him towards the keyboard.

Levi felt blood rush to his cheeks. Why—what? Why did they have to type this way?? Why was he blushing??

And in less than 30 seconds, they broke into the computer, the “Zeke Inc.” logo disappearing, and the desktop glowing, open on the screen.

Levi’s jaw dropped, and when he finally registered what happened, he yelled:

“WHY DIDN’T YOU DO THAT FROM THE BEGINNING??”

They put their hands on their hips and retorted:

“Well, you didn’t ask until now!”

Before Levi could flip the desk in frustration, an alarm sounded from his phone. He only had 5 minutes left before he had to make his way out of there. Quickly, he rushed in, scrolling through shipments for supplies, rerouting their destinations.

“Oh… so you’re like a… a gloomy Robin Hood huh? Small boy steals from big boy company to distribute resources to those who need it? A criminal… or an anti-hero maybe!”

“Oh wait!” They leaned in next to Levi once more—“Here, this is faster,” they whispered while hitting a few more keyboard shortcuts, doubling the amount of shipments.

“Hange, what are you doing??” A young boy stood in the doorway, the same metal band on his ankle.

Levi’s alarm sounded, and he began to wipe down the keyboard of his fingerprints and grab his backpack.

“Hange are you sure we can trust him?” Moblit asked as Hange took off the metal band from their ankle.

Hange winked in response.

“Oi, Levi!”

Levi turned in the doorway, quickly raising his hands to catch the band Hange threw at him.

“Take it!” They yelled, and the heavy door shut right in front of him, leaving him alone in his thoughts.

Levi stared at the band in his palm, and gently wrapped his fingers around it.

“Thanks,” he whispered, and ran off.

As Levi ran under the night sky, he looked at the intricate tech in his hand, and noticed the color yellow peeking out from under it. Flipping it over in his palm, he found a yellow sticky note, which read:

“We’ll trade you our tech for housing if you have space, gloomy Robin Hood! Maybe we could even steal from something big like Marley Corp. someday! If you’re in, find me back here tomorrow night! - Four-Eyes”

Levi carefully folded the note and put it in his pocket.

“Levi?” Nanaba called as he approached.

“Didn’t recognize you—are you… happy about something?”

Levi inadvertently reached his hand up to his face, feeling how his lips curved upwards. He couldn’t remember the last time he ever smiled. His mind was fixated on the note in his pocket, the image of Hange’s face smiling at him etched clearly in his mind.

“…I guess I am, Nana.”

HAHAHAHA THE 24 HOUR NOTIFICATION- i think i have around 1030 hours on sims? but i've had it since 2019 lmao (reading the screenshots, yes u are 100% a genuis, i take screenshots too but on anon you can't upload them so i just read them and retype what i wrote lmao) i think the university experience in the game is fun, but time consuming and it's all work imo. idk why i do it so often tho 😭😭😭

and agreed!! when you're making good money in the game you have to find other ways to make it interesting. my cousins who play it just continously do "motherlode" and i'm like.... then what do you do in your game?? it just sounds boring to me... my current sims household, i had a famous comedian sim, her name was dylan, aND SORRY IM LAUGHING SO HARD WHILE WRITING THIS BC ITS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THE UNI THING UNLESS IM JUST DUMB, she went to college for communications when i wanted her to be a comedian and when she graduated i realized that degree did nothing for the career 🥲 so yeah, i think i'm just dumb. but she had a kid in college, guy didn't stick around and she was pretty broke HA but then she got married to this (great) guy named steve, made good bank, had 5 more kids (two sets of twins and one more lol) but then she passed. uhm... yeah that's still an open wound . lol i'm kidding, but when you get rich like that, you have to find a way to make the game interesting and i chose a million kids.

So after 5 days of anxiety (✌🏼) i posted mine this morning bc last night i realised that i didn‘t even know why i was having anxiety so i just posted mine today. The deadline is tomorrow at 12 and no one except me has posted theirs yet........ so i have anxiety again 🥰 cause idk if i‘m the only one who did it or if i even did it correctly

I‘m loving falcon and winter soldier so much but when i was watching an episode the week before last week (?) my laptop broke😭😭😭😭 during the scene where the dora milaje came at the end my laptop just shut down? i used to be one of the people who‘d just do motherlode motherlode motherlode and just... what did i do? Why did i do that??? But not anymore lol. Like I said i haven‘t played sims in a few weeks but i‘ve been watching a few legacy challenge let‘s plays and usually i play with the aging off. So my sims just don‘t age 💀 but i could (should) turn aging on so that it stays exciting and i have limited time and everything. and once i get bored with my current sims i can just make them have kids and continue playing as their children when they get older- like recently i remembered that i haven‘t played the acting career in ages? and i haven‘t had a shop in ages? and i think you can even become a vet right??? like those are definitely some things i want to do in the next weeks!!! Also yes sksksjs i have a few hundred hours on sims as well (if not thousands 😭) it was just that one household that i‘d been playing with for 24hrs

AND GIRL SSKSKJD THE UNIVERSITY THING HAPPENED TO ME TOO, it was a while ago so i don‘t remember what degree and what job it was about but i made my sim study something for aaaaaages so she‘d get a better job from the beginning (you know what i mean like get in at a higher level)...... and i apparently studied the wrong thing cause i didn‘t get any benefits from studying and still had to start at level 1 and shit 🥴🥲

side note im just rambling here, i binged sherlock all really quick and everything is like a blur (idk if im in a state of shock or something, but i do know i was super invested at s1 ep 2, then i finished s4 at 4am one day and i had to read me some johnlock fics to comfort myself and i really dont know how i feel about anything yet just that well, johnlock and i cried during sherlocks fake death even tho i already accidentally read spoilers, and i also cried when they just went to hang out at bars together and hhh and during sherlocks best man speech and sherlocks goodbye to john (…maybe goodbye should be plural)…also i was v mad at eurus and s4 was a hell of a rollercoaster gd), so just wondering, how many times have you watched sherlock? how was the experience each time? Secondly, WELCOME TO THE FANDOM! We love having y’all here, and I’m honoured that you enjoy my blog and content! Also will comment on your praise on my meta here: THANK YOU. I’m very proud of my meta, and especially the SHEER AMOUNT of it I have produced still boggles me mind. Y’all remember when I was creative and thoughtful??? LOL S4 dragged me hard hahah. I still try to write S4 meta, just not as much as I used to. I like speculating, I truly do, but I have so little free time these days because of the nature of my full time job, so I tend to just... do nothing LOL. I find Fic Reccing really relaxing when you have nearly 800 bookmarks. I’m worried I’m becoming stale though. Oh well. I’m just trying to leave my mark here. <3

Thirdly, HAHHAH Thank you for your compliment about my replies to my asks; I genuinely wish I could get more asks finished every day, but I tend to ramble, as you can see, and I just... don’t finish them in a timely manner. Honestly, it’s a relief when I don’t know something because I can then get the community involved to help me out AND I also get new fic recs that way too LOL. I also draft a TONNE of asks and when I do that, I tend to just keep adding MORE and MORE and MORE so I have to post them, LOL.

And finally: My fave episode is TAB; it was the episode I studied the closest and my analysis of the trailer is my “claim to fame”. I just love it to bits. It’s the episode I’ve watched the most. S3 is my fave season, and it’s the SEASON I’ve watched the most, no less than 30 or 40 times. Season 2, then 1. I have only seen S4 like 5 times in full total, and horribly enough, TFP is the most-watched episode: I watched the Leak, the airdate, and I went and saw it in the theatres because I already bought the ticket before it aired so I just... didn’t care. And then at least 3 more times in Watchalongs. So yeah :| I still haven’t watched the BluRay I bought, but I hated having an incomplete set so I bought it when it went on sale fore 10 bucks LOL.

But yeah, S1 and 2 I watched together, and I LOVED the show. I joined fandom the summer before S3 aired, and S3 is when I REALLY got into the fandom. I’ve been pretty much here since then, about 7 years I think now. When I saw S4, it was incredulity and disappointment with it. That’s really it. I’m still a fence sitter these days about the series as a whole, but I’m leaning more and more to “no S5 for at least 3 more years” kinda thing. Just... everyone involved seems so disinterested in the show these days, minus Mofftiss to keep pushing the Sherlock™ Brand to make money.

I revisited hades after u replied! N spoilers: I got past elysium n then died to the Chambers (items got so expensive n it's multiple pathways to find cerb's treat lol n the poison...) butttttt I came back like next run n got hades to like 1/3 of his health and then died!!!! author’s note: oof this song brings me back to when i was 9 years old HAHAHAHAH. literally thought of doing this as a present day!finn going on a date instead of aged up!finn’s wedding lmao. this is so bad and took me so long to write oof i’m sorry, anon ;((

not a traditional wedding in a church, but the wedding takes place in the backyard of finn’s house btw! (i didn’t use a gif of finn bc it weirded me out that i was writing a imagine about an aged up 16 year old’s wedding heheheheh sorrry)

i am not the kind of girl

who should be rudely bargin' in on a white veil occasion,

but you are not the kind of boy

who should be marryin' the wrong girl.

never in my life have i seen a situation where someone barges in someone else’s wedding. i’ve only seen those in movies, never in real life.

who knew that i would be that person barging in on my boyfriend’s wedding.

it sounds messed up, i know, but to make the long story short, finn’s manager forced him to marry the girl he’s been dating for publicity.

fucked up, right? but it’s not my choice and his manager threatened him if he didn’t do it.

i should remind finn to get himself a new manager next time.

so, here i am, outside of finn’s room, where he is preparing for his big day. i take a deep breath before i knock on the door softly. seconds later, finn’s head pops out and his eyes brighten when he sees me.

after he lets me in, i am immediately engulfed in a tight hug. i sigh and wrap my arms around his torso as his arms circle my waist. i breathe in his scent and i feel my eyes water as the thought of someone else in his arms comes into my mind.

when we pull away from each other, his hands cups my cheek, brushing away the tears that have escaped my eye using his thumb. “don’t cry, (y/n).”

“how can i when my boyfriend marrying someone else?” i sob.

“(y/n), you know that i have no choice and this isn’t my decision.”

“but still, you’re marrying her.”

finn presses his forehead against mine and brings our bodies closer, his brown eyes staring right into my (y/e/c) ones.

“but i love you, not her.” i take a deep breath, closing my eyes. when i open them, there are tears brimming in both of our eyes.

the moment between us is broken when a knock is heard on his door.

“finn?” i hear the voice of his mom from the other side of the door. our faces turn pale and he pushes me into his closet when the door knob starts turning. i manage to get into the closet before his mom enters the room, making me sigh in relief.

“are you ready?”

i open the closet the tiniest bit, enough for me to be able to see what’s happening outside. i see him sigh in relief when his mom doesn’t notice that i’ve been in the room.

his mom approaches him, a sad smile playing on her lips. “my boy is getting married.” she approaches him and fixes his tie and collar with teary eyes. finn looks down at the ground, sadly. his mom places her hand on his cheek, making him lean into her touch. “i know that you want her to be (y/n), but if you both really love each other, you both have to be patient.” finn’s mom wraps her arms around his shoulders, bringing him into a comforting hug.

“we’ll break our contract soon. don’t worry.”

she kisses his forehead before reminding him to be ready soon and leaving the room.

as soon as finn’s mom is gone, i come out of the closet and place my hand on his shoulder, squeezing it lightly. he looks down at me sadly before wrapping his arms around me in a hug.

“i wish it was you up on that altar,” he says against my hair. i press my ear against his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. “soon, my love. it’ll be me as soon as your contract breaks.”

when he pulls away, he presses a loving yet passionste kiss. i feel my tears slip from my eye and roll down my cheeks.

we pull away from each other and i quietly say, “i love you. i’ll be back soon,” before leaving his room.

i sneak in and see your friends

and her snotty little family, all dressed in pastel

and she is yelling at a bridesmaid,

somewhere back inside a room,

wearing a gown shaped like a pastry.

as i walk through the hallway of finn’s house, i hear yells and the sound of glass breaking from a nearby room, sparking my curiosity.

i walk towards the direction of the room and peek through the small crack of the door. before i could open it and ask the person if they’re okay, i notice the puffy white dress and the blonde mop of hair wearing a long veil.

i back away from the door and lean against the wall beside the door frame, making sure that nobody inside the room saw me from outside.

“what the hell is this?! you call this a fucking braid?” i hear the voice of finn’s ‘bride to be’, mackenzie (a/n: i literally just googled ‘most hated girl names’ okay don’t come for me hdsjsksksj). before anyone could answer her, i hear glass shattering, making the hairs on my neck stand in fear that she hurted someone.

i peek in and see one of her bridesmaids looking at her apologetically, picking up the shards of glass from the ground as mackenzie towers over her, fuming with rage.

mackenzie opens her mouth to shout more at her bridesmaid, but gets cut off by her mother who was dressed in a pastel green dress.

oh Lord, help me.

“mackenzie, that’s enough. you don’t want to waste all your energy on something useless.” she rolls her eyes at the bridesmaid whose eyes were glassy because of her incoming tears.

“but mom, she’s ruining my wedding—“ her mom sends her a look of impatience and annoyance, making her shut up.

her mom approaches her and fixes the veil on her head. “shush now, child. you don’t want that your groom to hear your tantrum now, do you?” mackenzie snickers mockingly. “why would i care for that ‘wolfhard’ boy, mom? i don’t even love him.”

“yes, but he has money and fame, mackenzie. you do want to become famous, don’t you?”

i can feel my blood boiling inside of me and i try my best not to barge in and slap mackenzie and her mother.

mackenzie nods and says, “yes, my dreams of being a celebrity are getting closer and it’s all thanks to you, mom.” she embraces her mother in a hug and manages to despite her wedding dress getting in the way. “i’m glad that you slept with his manager, mom.”

no fucking wonder.

i take a deep breath, letting myself calm down before i walk away from the scene.

like what mackenzie’s mom said, ‘you don’t want to waste your energy on something useless.’

i continue to walk through the hallway, mumbling profanities and stomping in anger from the scene between mackenzie and her mom. i forgot about my plan of keeping a low profile until i hear someone call me from behind.

“(y/n)? is that you?” i turn around and come face-to-face with nick, finn’s older brother. i run to nick and immediately wrap my arms around his torso, him returning the gesture.

“nick, i cannot take it anymore. i don’t want finn to marry that bitch,” i say against his chest. i feel him stroking my hair in comfort and shushing me.

“it’s okay, (y/n).”

“no. it’s not okay, nick! finn is going to marry that bitch face, mackenzie and i can’t do anything about it.” i cry against his chest, possibly making his suit damp with my tears, but neither of us cared.

we continue like that until we hear the voice of finn and nick’s mom call for him and that the wedding is about to start. “shit,” he curses under his breath. “i gotta go, (y/n),” nick sadly says. we pull away from each other and bid each other goodbye.

before nick could disappear downstairs, he turns back to me and says, “i really wish that you were the one up on the altar.”

i smile sadly at him and say, “that’s what finn also said.” nick returns the sad smile and goes downstairs, leaving me standing in the hallway with a million thoughts running inside my head.

fond gestures are exchanged

and the organ starts to play

a song that sounds like a death march

and i am hiding in the curtains

it took me a while to decide whether or not to stay at the wedding and in the end, i hid myself behind some bushes in finn’s backyard. thankfully, nobody noticed me sneaking in and the bushes are large enough to cover me.

the sound of an organ playing ‘here comes the bride’, convinces me to peek from the side and i see mackenzie and her father starting to walk down the aisle.

she sways her non-existent hips from side to side and unlike the traditional slow walk, she rushes towards finn who looks at her with distress.

i gag at the sight of her winking at finn and just the sight of her so called ‘acting’ alone makes me want to bash my head with a fucking rock.

i can see tears rolling down the cheeks of finn as he stares at mackenzie who is smiling from ear to ear and my heart aches, knowing that he’s imaging that it’s me instead of her, but instead, i’m here, hiding behind a bunch of bushes.

“my dear friends, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union between finn wolfhard and mackenzie williams.”

this is going to be a long day.

i hear the preacher say,

"speak now or forever hold your peace.”

there's a silence, there's my last chance.

i stand up with shaking hands.

all eyes on me.

after an hour and a half, the wedding is nearing to an end. i can feel my heart racing as the ‘speak now’ part of the wedding nears.

“if anyone objects, speak now or forever hold your peace. any reason any reason why these two should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now,” the preacher says (a/n: i don’t know if this is the actual line in a wedding bc i’ve literally only been to two weddings).

this is it. this is my chance.

i begin to stand up and right before i could speak up, mackenzie says, “oh, look. no one’s objecting. come on, let’s get on with the wedding—“

“i object!”

horrified looks from everyone in the room,

but i’m only lookin' at you.

everyone’s attention turns to me and most of the guests have surprised looks on their faces. well, at least, in mackenzie’s side.

my eyes scan the faces of finn’s family and friends are most of them are smiling in relief and are quietly cheering me on, motivating me.

i take a deep breath before i say, “that’s my boyfriend! mackenzie is only marrying finn for fame and money and his manager only allowed this to happen because he slept with mackenzie’s mom!” everyone gasps and flickers their gazes between mackenzie and her family.

mackenzie screams and throws her bouquet of flowers on the ground, shouting, “fucking bitch! you ruined my goddamn wedding!” her face is red with anger and starts throwing more insults and cusses at me, but everything is a blur to me because i’m only focused on finn.

finn sighs in relief and looks at me with so much love and adoration in his eyes.

my thoughts are interrupted when finn grabs my wrist and drags me away from his backyard and out of his house.

we are giggling like children and he stops in front of his car, digging his pocket for his keys. once he finds them, he opens the car door on my side and lets me in. he goes around the car and slides in, turning the car engine on.

“finn, where are we going?” i ask, turning towards him. he only smiles and says, “far away,” before driving out of town.

and you say, "let's run away now.

i’ll meet you when i’m out of my tux at the back door.

oh baby, i didn't say my vow.

so glad you were around when they said, "speak now.”

the sea breeze fans my face and cools my heated body as the rays of the sun illuminate the sea waves from below the cliff.

i readjust my position on the hood of finn’s car and i lean my head against his shoulder, snuggling closer to him as his arm wraps around my body tightly.

“i’m so glad that you got me out of that hell hole,” finn says, making the both of us chuckle. “of course. i couldn’t let you get married to that witch of a bride.”

“yeah. i can’t even stand being a few feet away from her. let alone marry her.”

“it’s a shame that you wasted a pretty good suit though,” i say, fixing his collar.

“who said that i was going to put this to waste?”

i look at him in confusion until finn gets down on one knee in front of me and pulls out a ring from his pocket.

“(y/n), i know that we literally just ran away from a wedding and i know that you’re tired with all the wedding bullshit, but i nearly got married off to someone else and i couldn’t help but see you as my bride, not mackenzie.” tears prickle my eyes and start rolling down my cheeks. “(y/n), i love you so damn much and i want to be with you forever. so, will you do the honor of making me the happiest man on earth and become my wife?”

i jump down from the hood of his car and hug him, shouting “yes!” repeatedly. finn chuckles, sending vibrations between us.

when we pull away from each other, he slips the ring into my finger, letting it shine and sparkle in the sunlight.

finn places a hand on my cheek, making me lean into his touch. he smiles at me and says, “i’m so glad you were around when they said “speak now”.”

“stop quoting taylor swift and just kiss me already.”

finn chuckles and doesn’t waste a second pressing his lips against mine.

“Thank you so much for joining us,” the staff member said while fixing your hair. You nodded your head and smiled appreciatively at her, “I'm so honored that you asked me,” you said while wiping your palms on your jean shorts. Your eyes wandered around the room and you looked at everyone, you had performed on this stage many times before, but you have never mcd. Not even when your group was being asked questions, it was always one of your members that answered them and held the mic. “We invited you because you have similar energy as the other MCs,” the staff explained. You hid our mouth behind your hand while you laughed at her words.

Thinking about the MCs you shook your head in confusion, “I'm not so sure if that's a compliment or not,” you jokes. The staff member started laughing and pointing somewhere behind you. You eyed the mic in awe. You had always dreamed about having the silly mic with your name bedazzled onto the front. Mina had to temporarily leave her position as MC for 1 month, during that time you were going to cover. “I'm not going to be here that long,” you said while still staring at it. Mark was still holding it, he held it close to your face. “Are you going to take it or can I keep it?” he asked with the praise of his eyebrows. Your hand shot out and you grabbed it from him like a kid who got their toy stolen away. “No,” you whined with a sly smile.

In a matter of seconds, Mark has instantly become an awkward shy mess. His cheeks with a soft peachy pink and his hand started to clam up. Mark rubbed the back of his neck and started to back away towards the door. His hand went up and his thumb pointed at the exit “I have to go but,, see you later?” he asked. “Of course,” you stated, you were about to see him for mcing. “Okay,” he said, turning around extremely fast and hitting his head on the door. “Oh my gosh! Mark, are you okay?” you asked, rushing toward his side. Mark rubbed his head and bolted out of the door. “I'm fine! See you soon,” he hollered from somewhere in the hall.

You sighed and stared at the door before turning back to the staff member you were previously talking to. Waving your mic in her face you turn you smiled radiantly “What do you think?” you asked while seeing it with heart eyes. “I think you and Mark are cute,” she giggled and began to put her things away. You thought about Mark for a moment. He was extremely cute but this was your first time meeting him. “Hush it,” you softly whispered making her chuckle suspiciously while walking away. “Y/n! Come on,” a voice yelled from the hall. “I have to go, thanks once again,” you said while rushing out of the room. “Ready for your first time as an MC?” the staff asked and you instantly nodded. “I'm looking forward to this experience,,” you said with an ecstatic smile

You sighed half-heartedly. The past 3 weeks as an mc had been extremely amazing. You weren't expecting to have this much fun and to get along with everyone so well. Part of you was sad that Mina had to come back so early, but you knew it was her position. “If I had known I'd love it this much and become this attached to it I wouldn't have joined,” you mumbled to yourself while shoving another piece of cake into your mouth. All day you had been pouting and mapping, part of you knew that there was a bigger reason you being upset about leaving.

Mark. Unexpectedly you had become extremely close with Mark and you were going to miss him. During mc times you two would sneak flirtatious glance sat daughter and prayed that no one saw. While you were waiting to film or do something you and Make would mess around and have fun. He made your day, you began to look forward to your play dates with him. “Hey Y/n,” Mark said sadly as he entered your dressing room. You put on a big fake smile and turned to look at you. “Hi Mark!” you beamed while staring curiosity at the boy. Mark handed you a singular sunflower. Taking the flower you happily smelt it. “It's beautiful,” you softly said. Your eyes started to water but you did your best to hold it in.

Mark looked like he was deep in thought, you stood up and went to put the flower somewhere special, leaving the boy to stand there by himself. Mark stared at the marble white floor as he thought back to what his members said. “I'm not one to say this type of stuff but HOLY SHIT you and Y/N would be so cute together,” “Ya know, I would've thought yall were dating if I didn't already know the answer,” “Your chemistry is so good!” his members had said a variety of things to him. He knew that people thought you looked good together but he thought it was just the fans, he didn't know that his own members liked the thought of you two dating.

“I'm going to do it,” he said to himself full of confidence. He was going on a limb and was going to assume that you reciprocated his feelings.Once you re-entered the room he walked to you, placed his hands on your shoulders and looked you in the eyes. “Y/n I really like you, like, a lot,” he said, cheeks riveting a fire truck. You softly smiled, you didn't think that he confess, especially not like this. ‘I like you too,” you said mailing his mouth drop open. “Wait really?” he asked removing his hands from your shoulders You started to chuckle “Of course, silly! I thought it was obvious,” you stated while thinking to all the times you blankly stared at him without shame.

Mark's eyes went from your eyes to your lips, he took a step forward and cornered you. “Mark?” you asked softly while staring into his eyes. Slowly he leaned in, you felt your heart pick up speed at his actions. His soft lips pressed against yours in a rough manner. He backs up and pushes you against the wall. You could tell this was something he had been wanting to do for a while now, the feverish want in his actions was crystal clear. Your hands danced their way up his toned chest to his neck when you rested them. His hand sid the same except they made their way to your hair where they gently tugged at the strains causing you to moan. Mark took this opportunity to slip his tongue into your mouth. You let Mark take control, his hands went from your hair slowly down to your ass. He tightly squeezed your ass, you jumped up slightly and wrapped your legs tightly around his waist. Carrying you to the leather sofa he laid you down and straddled you. His lips danced to your neck, with each kiss he placed you felt a fire ignite inside of you.

“Hey, Mark-” Johnny started saying as he walked into the room. He stopped in his place and stared at you two on the couch. Mark stopped what he was doing and raised his head to look at Johnny. He stared at him like a meerkat while mumbling incoherent gibberish. Johnny took note of everything, you pressed against the couch, the shiny marks on your neck, and Marks puffy glistening red lips. “Nice one bro,” Johnny said with a slight laugh. Mark hid his red face in your neck. “As happy as I am that you two are together, you are wanted by our manager,” Johnny explained while gesturing to where Marks dressing room was. “Yep,, I'll be there soon,” Mark said while moving himself off of you. Johnny nodded his head and finger gunned his way out of the room. “I have to,, a,, go. Can we finish this later?” he asked with a sly smile. You nodded your head and slipped on a piece of paper. “Make sure to call me,, see you later,” you said while pushing him out of your room. “Yeah, see you later,” he said before turning around and stealing another intense kiss from you.

Everyone thought of Y/N as the prettiest girl in school, well next to Liz Allen she was the second prettiest girl in the school. Most people just liked her for her looks, but Peter Parker? He liked her because he knew that she was a kind, and smart girl on the inside.

Y/N stood with Liz in the lunch line, talking about her latest book idea. Liz nodded along, listening to her friend. She was kind of listening, but kept glancing behind her friend. A few feet away at a pretty empty lunch table, sat Peter Parker and his best friend Ned. Liz had noticed that the two boys were staring at them for quite some time.

When Y/N realized that Liz was barley paying attention to what she was rambling on about, she twisted her head and saw who she was staring at. Turing back around to Liz she said, “They’re staring at you again.” The lunch line moved up and you and Liz grabbed your food.

Liz chuckled. “No, Y/N/N, I think they’re staring at you.” Y/N rolled her eyes at her friend. They walked towards their usual lunch table and sat down. “You don’t believe me?” Liz tested.

Y/N shrugged. “I think you’re just a bit crazy, Liz. Everyone knows that those two boys over there like you. Not me. You.” Liz took Y/N’s tone as a challenge to see who was really correct. Getting up, Liz left the table and started to walk over to the two boys. “Liz! Liz what are you doing?” Y/N shouted. Her friend only winked back at her.

Liz sat down right in front of Peter and Ned, grabbing their attention quickly. They both paled instantly when they saw who sat in front of them. “U-uh, L-Liz. Wh-what are you doing over here?” Peter stuttered out.

Liz chuckled. “You see my friend over there?” She turned and looked at Y/N, who was hiding her face in her hands. “We’re having a little argument over whether the two of you like me or her. I can obviously tell that one of you likes her, but who?” Her voce trailed a little as her eyes scanned over Ned, who was just staring at Liz, so her eyes landed on Peter. “Do you like Y/N, Peter? Or do you like me?”

Peter gulped. “I- uh, I um..”

“He likes Y/N!” Ned shouted. Peter quickly looked at his friend, his face turning red. Y/N’s head snapped up at the shout of her name. Liz chuckled, thanking Ned and then going back over to her own table.

“I told you.” Liz smirked. Y/N rolled her eyes. “You better go over there and talk ‘to Peter, or I’m going to have to do it for you.”

Y/N shook her head quickly. “No, no, you have done enough Liz Allen. Quite enough.” Y/N slung her bag over her shoulder and stood up from her table. Giving Liz a playful glare she walked over to Ned and Peter, who were still shocked that Liz Allen had just talked to them, so when Y/N sat down at their table? They were even more petrified.

Peter snapped out of it quickly, when he saw her raise an eyebrow at the two of them. “Y-Y/N.” He stuttered. You had to admit to yourself, but he was probably the most adorable human being that you had ever met. “Do you, do you need something?”

Y/N shrugged. “Just came over here to apologize to you guys about Liz.” Peter shook his head.

“N-no need to apologize.” Y/N gave a small smile. Ned excused himself, saying something about a project he needed to finish. Both Peter and Y/N knew he was lying, but they let him leave anyways. Peter looked back at Y/N, his eyes going over all her features.

Y/N turned back to Peter and smiled. “Is what Ned said true? About you liking me?” She asked.

Peter froze. Oh god, the girl he liked was really asking him that question. He couldn’t just lie to her, he had to tell her the truth. “Yeah, it’s- it’s true.” He said slowly. Y/N smiled a little.

“Give me your phone real quick.” She said. Peter looked taken back, but he did it anyways. He handed the device to her and she quickly typed in her phone number and address. She handed it back to him with a smile. “Swing my apartment sometime, we could hang out.” She got up from the table and left.

A week went by before Peter took Y/N up on her offer for the two of them to hang out. It was Saturday afternoon, he had just finished his morning route as Spider-Man and decided to head over to Y/N’s. He changed quickly in the elevator, and then looked for Y/N’s apartment number. It took him a few minutes to find it, but eventually he did. Taking a deep breathe he knocked on the door and waited for it to open.

Y/N swung open the front door, not expecting to see Peter standing out in the hallway. “Oh, Peter. Hi, I didn't know you were coming over.” Y/N said. “Come in.” She stepped to the side and let Peter walk in. “Sorry the place is kind of a mess right now, I was finishing up my art project and then I lost my power for a little bit.” Y/N started to ramble on but Peter just smiled and let her talk.

She was in sweats that had paints all over them and a baggy t-shirt that also had paint on it. She looked down at what she was wearing and blushed.

“I-uh, let me go shower real quick and then I’ll be right back.” She said. Peter nodded, letting her go get herself cleaned up while he sat on the couch. She had a pretty nice place, and in his opinion it wasn’t really messy.

It took Y/N roughly fifteen minutes to get herself cleaned up and dressed before she headed out towards the living room. She through her hair up in a messy bun, tucking stray hairs behind her ears. “I have some brownies in the fridge, do you want one?” She asked Peter as she opened up the fridge.

“Uh, yeah sure, thanks.” He said. Peter thought Y/N was pretty when she dressed up and put makeup on, but seeing her in just sweats, a tank top, and bare face? He thought she looked gorgeous. Y/N put a few brownies on a plate and walked over to the couch, putting the plate on the coffee table in front of her.

“So, what brings you by Pete?” She asked as she took a bite from a brownie.

Peter coughed. “I uh, just wanted to hang out with you? Since you know, you offered and everything, last week.” His eyes darted from her to his hands which were fidgeting with his sweater.

Y/N smiled. “I didn’t think you were actually going to come over, since it did take you a week and all.” She teased him. He gave her a nervous smile which only made her smile. “Well, let me order some pizzas, grab a few movies and drinks? That sound good to you?” Y/N asked as she pulled out her phone to dial the pizza place.

While they waited for the pizza and drinks to arrive, the two teens talked about school, movies, and of course, everyone’s favorite superhero. Spider-Man.

“He’s cool I guess.” Y/N said as she leaned against her couch cushions. She watched Peter’s expression harden.

“W-why do you say that?” Peter asked, shifting in his seat. Y/N knew she hit a nerve.

The girl shrugged. “Maybe because he keeps trying to go after people he shouldn’t.” Peter’s faced softened a bit. The way he was reacting to this made her thing that maybe he knew Spider-Man.... or maybe he is Spider-Man. Y/N went to say something but their was a knock on the door, making her get up. She grabbed about twenty dollars before opening the door. Outside in the hall stood the delivery guy, holding two large pizzas with a bottle of soda in a bag. Y/N and the delivery guy traded off items and parted ways.

Peter sat up and moved his feet from the coffee table. While Y/N got napkins and glasses for the drinks he began to take some pizza. y/N walked back over and handed him a glass full of Dr. Pepper. The two ate their pizzas in silence for a few minutes, before Peter spoke up.

“Who do you think is under the Spider-Man mask?” He questioned, glancing over at Y/N.

She shrugged. “I don’t know, maybe it’s some kid who doesn’t know what they’re doing.” Her voice trailed off and she looked Peter straight in the eye. “Or maybe it’s the person sitting in front of me.” Peter stopped chewing his food. He almost stopped breathing.

What was he going to say? Was he going to lie to her? Or tell her the truth? “Umm... I um...” He mumbled, not knowing what to say.

“Your bag wasn't zipped all he way. And I pieced it together by the way you were reacting my to answer to your questions. Not that hard o figure out.” She took another bite of her pizza. Peter sat there, surprised that she just... figured it out. “Are you going to tell me I’m wrong, or can I take you silence as a yes?” Peter stayed silent. Y/N smirked to herself.

“You, I can’t believe you figured it out, wow. Um.. wow.” He stuttered.

“I’m a smart girl, I’m not dumb like everyone thinks I am.” Y//N stated.

Peter only smiled. “That's why I like you.”
