So I’ve been meaning to ramble about the beauty of four walls for so long now but am only just getting round it so i really apologise because the amount I’ve enjoyed reading every chapter and just the pleasure the story has bought me I should’ve been leaving huge appreciation on every chapter. You’re so talented.
I’m just gonna start by saying that four walls is one of, if not the most, thought provoking and intimate things I’ve ever read. I don’t really have the vocab to explain what it is about it, but the way you portray emotions and just the delicacy of every situation, especially in chapter 8 where they finally get together, is just something else. There’s this underlying yearning and carefulness in each chapter that’s just so realistic, and seeing it written down and feeling that ache in my chest whenever something you’ve written just encapsulates that so perfectly is just heaven.
Also the way you depict insecurity ;-; Alex thinking miles is suddenly going to start looking at him differently. And that possessiveness of miles and confusion he feels about Suzy because she’s more than just a fling and is in Miles’ personal space and bubble that Alex sees as his but now includes her. I just can’t because it’s so relatable and written SO PERFECTLY.
And the little details? THE LITTLE DETAILS! These tiny bits of intimacy like the mixed jackets and the shoes next to the door and the description of miles’ belt buckle and how it moves with his breathing is just- omg. And the little addition of Alex always trying to unlock each door with the wrong set of keys? And the ‘where’s home’ ‘here’ ’me too’? SOBBING. It’s honestly a little scary how perfectly you depict that kind of lostness that can be common for people who are constantly moving about and find that security in that one person who’s always been their person no matter where they are. Sometimes I really think you must just be one of them writing their actual story just pretending it’s fanfic xD
And the nerves, and that doubt, like even though Alex must know deep deep down that miles feels the same he just needs to provoke it until Miles breaks and he can be sure. And that ‘c’mon al, it’s never just you, is it?’ That miles says because it’s just them, on the same wavelength, overthinking themselves into being convinced the other doesn’t want them. And the HURT omfg the hurt. Miles thinking Alex is just pushing to see what happens and to get his own way like again I can’t explain how incredibly you do that and how realistically you portray it and without seeing inside Alex’s mind it does seem like that’s exactly what he’s doing. But Miles’ perception of him vs the way Alex sees him as home (like ‘just the two of them alone in the room Alex most often sees when he closes his eyes to escape other rooms’)just ASGDKFLFOENDB. Babies.
I’m really really late going somewhere and this isn’t nearly the appreciation I want to show for you or four walls, nor is it anywhere close to highlighting all the things that are just phenomenal about the way you write and portray these characters. But the way you write has honestly introduced me to this whole new world of how characters emotion’s should look, and how it’s this simmering beneath the surface that you do absolutely incredibly that makes the characters so much deeper and more vulnerable and just perfection
So thank you so so much, honestly love this story and your writing beyond belief <3333333
hii 💖 oh my GOD where to start??? this is so unbelievably, UNBELIEVABLY lovely i don't even know what to say 😭😭 genuinely, i can't even begin to tell you how much this made my day (scratch that. my whole WEEK) when it popped up in my inbox 🥺
writing four walls over the past year has brought me so much joy, so to hear that this little world i've created has been bringing other people joy too is truly the most special feeling in the world ✨💫
your kind words about how i portray emotions and inner workings is just - god, i don't even know what to say 🥺 that's always been one of my favourite things about writing, but when you immerse yourself in a character's headspace as much as i have with alex in this fic, it can also make it really challenging. like i definitely spend a LOT of time going back and forth and worrying that i haven't got it quite right to make sense for his character, or that i've spent too much time on the introspective side of things vs dialogue. so yeah - to hear that when you're reading it all the emotions feel that real?? aghhhhh. that's everything i could possibly want and makes all the challenges of writing it feel TOTALLY worthwhile 💗 (also, i love that you feel that ache in your chest when you're reading, because that's what i feel when i'm writing them in this fic too 🥺)
i'm also so glad you think all of alex's feelings of jealousy/insecurity around suzy work - that's been something i've really enjoyed writing actually, it feels like her presence is (slowly 🤦♀️) helping him unlock a lot of doors that it might have taken him a lot longer to notice otherwise! it's been really interesting to write that dynamic.
AHHHHH as i'm sure you can tell, i'm an absolute sucker for little details, so it makes me SO HAPPY that you enjoy all those elements of the fic 💗 also all your comments about chapter eight specifically and how everything unfolded there have made my heart absolutely sing 🥹 i was actually really nervous about sharing that chapter and worried that it wouldn't measure up, so hearing your lovely words about that scene is just - thank you 🥺 it truly means so much💖
honestly it's not the first time someone has said that they think i must be either alex or miles writing this, and each time i hear it it just leaves me speechless because that is just the BIGGEST compliment ever??? 😭 obviously we only get glimpses of what they're like from interviews, lyrics etc - but they have *such* a special dynamic and are such fascinating people, so to feel like i've managed to capture even a semblance of who they are is truly so special, thank you 💗
i'm going to stop flailing at you in a moment because i feel like i've rambled on quite long enough now, but this: "the way you write has honestly introduced me to this whole new world of how character's emotions should look" THIS??? this has to be one of my favourite things someone has ever said about my writing 🥺 i want to print it out on a post-it note and stick it above my desk ✨
thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and generous comment - i truly can't begin to tell you what a gift feedback like this is, and how much it inspires me and keeps me going through the tougher moments of writing 🙏 you also sent it at a time where i'd been struggling particularly with self-criticism and doubt around the chapter i'm currently writing, and honestly reading all your kind words just restored so much confidence and joy in my writing. thank you so very much, i'm wishing you the most wonderful day and sending all the best vibes your way 💜💜💜
(PS the next chapter is nearly ready now! 💖)
#sorry it took me a couple days to reply to this!#i wanted to wait until i had the time to sit down properly and give it the attention it deserves 💗#thank you for being such an utterly lovely human 🥺#asks#four walls

Fire Emblem Siblings Week 2023! [Kaze & Saizo]
Happy #FireEmblemSiblingsWeek2023, everyone! I wrote a little something for the best ninja twins, Kaze and Saizo! This is for Day 6: Return, but also I guess Day 5: Duty, since the piece ended up being more about Saizo's internal struggles of family vs. duty. ❤
Kaze's Return
Today is the two month mark. Two months since they lost contact with Kaze in Nohr.
It would be customary to presume Kaze dead, by now. The damn fool just had to go. Not that Saizo could have denied him, of course. He was among the best of them; only, he didn’t have a liege to bind him, like Saizo or Kagero did. So when they needed someone to gather intel from the deepest parts of Nohr, of course the damn fool volunteered.
The first week that Kaze’s reports stopped coming, Saizo tried to ignore the way his stomach churned with dread. Kaze was fine. Right?
When two weeks passed, Kagero took notice. Do you want to talk, Saizo? She had offered. He turned her away without a word. Kaze would be fine.
After a month, Ryoma asked about the status of Kaze’s mission. Saizo grimly told the truth: they’d lost contact four weeks ago. I’m so sorry, Saizo. Please, let me know if you need any time away from your duties.
Saizo had ignored the stinging in his eyes and sinking feeling in his gut.
It’s been two months, now. So Saizo is already in a bad mood when the messenger bursts into the room.
“Lord Saizo!”
He grits his teeth under his mask and turns to the entryway. “Excuse me? You’re breaching protocol by barging in here–”
The messenger swiftly bows, but holds out a small, folded parchment. Saizo recognizes it as a carrier hawk note.
“I apologize, sir,” the messenger scrambles, “but it’s from your brother! I presumed that you would have wanted–”
Saizo snatches the parchment, causing the messenger to flinch. “Thank you,” Saizo growls. “Dismissed.”
Saizo’s heart is pounding in his ears so much that he can hardly hear the messenger leave. He presses the paper flat against a desk and smooths it out. It’s coded, but he can quickly recognize the handwriting:
It’s Kaze.
It’s terse, but it confirms it: his brother is alive.
That evening, he reads the decoded report out loud to Kagero.
“‘Reporting: Suzukaze. After most recent update, was captured and compromised. Held captive in Castle Krakenburg.’”
Kagero gasps. “Oh my,” she says. “They held him in Krakenburg? That must’ve been serious.”
Saizo nods and continues. “‘No intel disclosed in interrogation. Was able to escape.’”
“Gods. They tortured him,” Kagero laments. “We need to conduct an extraction right away–”
“He’s being a damn fool,” Saizo interrupts. “He doesn’t want an extraction yet.”
“What? But protocol is to go through a debriefing after being compromised?”
Saizo huffs and reads the rest of the letter:
“‘Please restock drop-point at Bottomless Canyon. Need to investigate important development before leaving Nohr. Will report back in one week.’”
“An important development?” Kagero asks, taking the parchment and flipping it to see if there’s more written. “That’s it? He doesn’t add anything else?”
Saizo shakes his head.
Part of him wants to drop everything and rush to the Bottomless Canyon right away. But he can’t ignore his duties to Prince Ryoma. And Kaze knew the risks of the mission when he volunteered, and was prepared to handle anything– including recovering from Nohrian ‘interrogation.’
So he resolved to wait, and had the drop-point restocked.
Only the shinobi in charge of restocks would notice that Saizo added green mochi to the supply list for that checkpoint.
- - - - - - - - - -
Kaze’s next report is a little late, but it comes nonetheless.
Again, it’s short and to-the-point. This time, it’s marked with a symbol on the top of the paper– the code the operatives use to indicate they are out of enemy territory and not under duress. It’s also not in code.
Saizo reads it right away, and his eyes practically bulge from his head when he does.
Reporting: Suzukaze. Returning to Shirasagi with lost Princess Kamui. ETA: three days.
Saizo looks at the date written at the top of the parchment.
He drops the paper and sprints to find Mikoto.
His brother would be here tomorrow–
with the long lost princess, apparently.
- - - - - - - - - -
The next morning, Saizo trades places with the ninja scheduled for gate guard duty.
Even approaching from the distance on the horizon, Saizo recognizes his brother’s walk. There’s also a slender figure with silver hair accompanying Kaze.
Saizo can’t control his leg as it thumps like a rabbit, his foot tapping restlessly against the floor. He can’t abandon his post– so he forces himself to be content with observing his brother’s approach.
As they get closer, Saizo notices the weight Kaze has lost, and the tattered, frayed edges of his clothes.
The second they cross the castle threshold, Saizo is there.
Kaze smiles. “Hello, brother.”
Saizo hesitates.
There he is– his brother, alive. Smiling like he has not a single care in the world. No: happy, even.
Every nerve in his body wants to embrace him, to rush him off to a decent meal. Or, to scold him for being foolish, for his self-sacrificing attitude. Gods, if father could see him, he wouldn’t know whether to be more proud or angry.
But protocol– protocol dictates that he be fully debriefed, give his full report before anything else. And then of course is the princess trailing just behind him, looking overwhelmed and confused, who needs escorting. It would be improper to discuss personal or even shinobi-related matters in front of her, and Kaze needs to continue walking her to Queen Mikoto, and…
Kaze sees the internal tug-of-war reflected in his brother’s eyes, and chuckles.
He hugs him.
Saizo is stiff, his brain frozen.
It’s against protocol! It’s disrespectful! It’s– it’s…
“It’s good to see you, Kaze,” Saizo murmurs, and Kaze smiles.

Lone Wolf (Quinn Fabray x Fem-reader part 11)
Warning: Angst, Fluff, Cussing, Smut, Bullying
“Okay so I will pick you up later.” I said as Santana walked out her bedroom door
“You know it’s weird seeing you in a uniform that you have to wear all the time. I miss the tight leather outfits.” Santana said
“Well we both don’t get to decide what we wear now so I guess we are officially equals.” I said
“Nice try I’m a cheerleader and popular.” Santana said
“Yeah well at this school Glee is the top of the food chain and then theater then sports then cheerleading.” I said
“Speaking of which we have a football game tonight…” Santana said
“at six thirty against Carmel High. I know and trust me that isn’t because the football team is good.” I said
“So you’re willing to skip the Eagles vs the Browns?” Santana asked
“To watch you perform I would skip the Super-bowl.” I said
“Santana we have to get going.” Mrs.Lopez yelled up the stairs
“Bye” Santana said
“Bye have a good day.” I said as she ran down the stairs
I also headed downstairs and jumped into my car. I started the 40 minute drive the Crawford County Day.
The first day at Crawford was amazing. It felt like I was walking around in a castle. The teachers actually knew what they were talking about. It was now the end of the day and The Crawford Country Girls had a meeting. I walked into the room it was nothing like McKinley’s choir room there was couch’s and snacks.
“Hello my name is Nicky. I’m a senior here what’s your name.” Nicky asked
“Oh hi my name is Y/N. I am a senior I transferred out of McKinley.” I said
“Oh my god did you hear about that scandal that happened there two weeks ago.” Nicky asked
“Yeah.” I said shit they had knew about it
“As a lesbian myself I am completely appalled by what happened there and how they got away with it. At least they finally got arrested. I did not watch the video I just heard about it. What was it like being there.” Nicky asked
“Well given that I was the lesbian. It sucked.” I said
“Oh my god you’re gay too.” She said slightly touching my arm
“Everyone let’s start the meeting.” The person sitting at the table said name tag Jess
“Okay as usual we are gonna have our seniors sing the main parts and thanks to Y/N joining us we will be able to have a bass this year. So if anybody has any suggestions of things we could sing. Also since we have a new person let’s say our name and then what you want to say.” The person next to Jess name tag Lucy
“Hello my name is Maria and I was thinking we could do a pop song.” Maria said
“Hi my name is Melody and it’s not like we don’t have country in our name. You know why that is we sing country songs.” Melody said
“What if we do both?” I asked
“What do you mean?” Jess asked
“Like Ke$has tik Tok and Cop Car by Sam hunt can someone sing with me.” I asked
“I will.” Nicky said
“You might wanna take your cameras out.” I said
Nicky
Y/N
Sorry the highlights is acting weird and keeps un highlighting things

blue lights were shinin' Bringing out the freedom in your eyes I was too busy watching you Going wild child To be worried about going to jail You were thinking that Running for it Would make a good story I was thinking you were crazy as hell You were so innocent But you were stealing my heart I fell in love in the back of a cop car
Man, they weren't playin' They sure put those cuffs on quick You tried to sweet talk 'em They didn't fall for it But I did You were on the left I was on the right I knew you didn't smoke When you asked him for a light And I laughed He got mad and slammed the door

'Cause there was somethin' 'bout the way The blue lights were shinin' Bringing out the freedom in your eyes And I was too busy watching you Going wild child To be worried about going to jail You were thinking that Running for it Would make a good story I was thinking you were crazy as hell But you were so innocent But you were stealing my heart I fell in love in the back of a cop car
Oh I fell in love in the back of a cop And you were like, oh And you were like, oh (And you were like) Oh
“Was that good?” I asked
“Good.” Nicky said
Everyone left the room except for me and Nicky
“We should hang out sometime it would be great to get to know you.” Nicky said coming closer to me
“Yeah that sounds great. I gotta go pick someone up.” I said
“Well here is my phone number.” She said putting her phone number into my phone
I ran off to my car and drove off headed towards McKinley. When I got a phone call from Santana.
“Hey were are you?” Santana asked
“Sorry I am running late. I will be there in about fifteen minutes or less. Sorry” I said
“No problem.” Santana said
I finished my drive to Santana so that I could drop her off at the game on time. I went over the speed limit a little bit. I pulled into McKinley’s parking lot.
“I’m so so sorry I’m late.” I said
“No problem we just don’t have time to go home so I will eat after the game.” Santana said as she hoped into the car.
“How is Crawford?” Santana asked
“It’s great actually, I really like it there. There glee club is amazing and so talented. It’s a legit castle it is so much fun.” I said
“Okay well that’s good. Did you miss anything.” Santana asked
“Yeah seeing a hot Latina in the hallways.” I said
“That’s all I wanted to hear.” She said kissing my cheek and grabbing my hand
We pulled up to the stadium.
“Okay well I am gonna go sit in the adult section. Have fun.” I said as I gave her. Her cheer bag in the back.
I went and parked the car and went through the entrance and payed the non-student fee. I went and found a seat away from the McKinley high students. There was no point in watching the game McKinley had a horrible football coach. So I went and got some food. I watched the Marching band and the color guard. Which were decent performances. Sadly I didn’t get to see Santana much as the cheerios were in front of the student section. But when the half time show happened I finally got to see what she loved to do. She had a smile on her face the entire time. At the end of the game McKinley lost 7-56. I stayed in the stands until Finn came over and joined.
“Hey buddy how’s it going?” I asked
“We just got our ass kicked.” Finn said
“Thats not your fault.” I said
“What do you mean it’s not our fault?” Mike asked coming and sitting next to Finn
“You have a horrible coach. It isn’t the team it’s the coach and the team a little bit. I bet I could get you guys to win a game.” I said
”you think.” Puck said coming and sitting on the other side of me
“How’s Crawford going?” Matt asked sitting next to me
”Good dude all the women are so hot and we did a pretty good mashup today. I actually got to sing in my deep voice. You guys are so going down at regionals.” I said
“Sure we are we have Rachel and Kurt.” Finn said
“Are there any adults still here?” I asked
”No just us and the Cheerios why?” Finn asked
“You guys want some beer?”I said reaching into my bag and grabbing a six pack
“No I am driving so I can’t drink.” Finn said
”hell yah.” Puck said
As Matt, Mike and Puck all grabbed a beer and my bottle opener got passed around. I finally opened mine and took a sip.
“So what’s new?” I asked
“I got my grades up so your sister would get off my ass.” Matt said
“I think I have feelings for Rachel.” Finn said
“You don’t say.” I said
“I feel like she’s trying to get into my pants.” Finn said
“Oh that’s nice I went crawling back to Santana and got back together with her cause Quinn still doesn't want me we fucked in the janitors closet during lunch.” Puck said
Inner thoughts
what they did what. I can’t say anything that will out her. Why didn’t she tell me. Am I not enough for her.
“Good job man. There’s this really really really…” I said
“Oh hey guys what’s going on here.” Quinn said
I didn’t look up to see if anyone else was there. But little did I know that not only was Quinn there but Hope and Brittnay and Santana.
“Finish what you were saying Y/N.” Puck said
“Oh there’s a really really really hot girl at Crawford. She’s a lesbian as well. She out of the closet the only thing that I have to worry about is that she just got out of a relationship and that she is also a senior so she’s going off to college soon. But besides that she’s hot.” I said
At the sound of that a jealousy built up in Santana. She ran down towards the car.
“Will we ever get to meet her?” Hope said
”Well she is in our Glee. There just one more issue I am still in love with someone from McKinley. I would rather keep the McKinley girl in my heart than let Nicky in.” I said
“Who is it?” Puck asked
Shit shit it was his on and off again girlfriend the same person that he had his dick inside earlier today
“Um it is one of the Softball girls.” I said
“Oh I didn’t know that you were dating a Softball player.” Hope said
“That’s cause her parents are extremely religious so she hasn’t come out and I have no clue if she ever will.” I said
“As someone who got kicked out of the house by religious parents. Don’t force her.” Quinn said slapping Finn upside the head
“Okay well I best get going one thing I did like better about McKinley is that they have less homework. I have to write an entire 10 chapter essay 15 pages each about myself and quoting the professor nothing superficial. So I gotta go soul searching.” I said as I grabbed my bag and headed off towards the car when I saw Santana standing against it with her arms crossed.
The car ride home was quiet like a deadly quiet when you can hear when someone blinks. That car ride could have survived the quiet place. You could hear every single piece of machinery working in the car. When we got home Santana got out and slammed her door shut and walked inside. I thought that she was just mad that the football team had lost. I mean if anything I was more upset she got back together with Puck are you fucking kidding me and she gave it up to him. I guess I wasn’t enough for her.
In Santanas room Santana ran upstairs and slammed her door shut she also locked it. She ran over to her bed threw herself on it and finally let the tears escape. How could she compete with that woman. She was out and proud lesbian who wanted her girlfriend. She had to do what Santana does best figure out who this girl is and get in with her. She had to make her girlfriend remember why she liked her even if that meant her being up all night and you not being able to walk
My room
I knew that she was dating Puck but she had said that she had stopped having sex with him and was only having sex with me. All of a sudden my door swung open to reveal Santana wearing
What was she doing. I wasn’t just going to be her second fuck of the day. She quickly shut the door so that her parents wouldn’t see.
“Nope.” I said
“Oh really and does that have anything to do with the really really sexy lesbian that is at your school.” Santana said
”No it has to do with Puckerman dick being inside of you earlier today. You said I kiss him I give him bjs and hjs but anything under the belt I won’t let him touch that all for you baby and then not only do I here that you got back together and couldn’t even shoot me a quick text. The he goes on and on about he fucked you frontside, backside. So sorry if I don’t want to have sex with you after he clearly already pleasured you. I’m not your human dildo I don’t treat you like one and yet you treat me like one. Yeah you say I love you and stuff but maybe yeah maybe do find Nicky hot because I would know that I’m the only one who gets to see her naked and I’m not competing with a football dude that is so good at sex that he knocked up Quinn Christian loving, Celibacy dedicated, Quinn. Okay so yeah maybe I think she’s hot but I would never do anything about it because I don’t cheat on the people I love. Maybe I wish dating someone who’s got it figured out who knows that she likes pussy and not Dick. But I can’t because I’m in love with you and I can’t stop being in love with you no matter what. You have no clue what it’s like dating someone who I had to see making out with someone else in the hall. That’s why I left McKinley okay yeah the whole video thing helped but every time I see you two together I picture him inside of you and I just want to shoot myself okay. Because stupid me had to go and fall in love with another straight person.” I said
“I’m not straight okay I don’t know what I am and yes me and Puck had sex because I am still questioning what I like. But I also know that that isn’t what this is about. It’s because you like two women at the school me and Quinn Fabray and he got both of us.” Santana said
“See he got both of us why didn’t you say he had both of you. Just answer this one question do you still love him?” I asked
“Hell no it’s you okay it’s women it’s what I have been taught against my entire life okay.” Santana said
”Then take that thing off we’re not having sex but we can at-least cuddle.” I said
“I promise I will never let him below the belt again if you don’t let Nicky anywhere near your body.” Santana said
“Deal know come over here cause you parents refuse to turn the heat on and it’s 20 degrees.” I said
I snuggled into Santana knowing that when I woke up in the morning she would be gone and back into her bedroom away from me.
The next morning I woke up and surprisingly Santana was still asleep next to me. I looked over at the clock we only had 15 minutes before we had to leave. I tapped her shoulder
“Five more minutes.” Santana said
“Sorry no can do we overslept and you have to leave in fifteen minutes.” I said
Santana scooted back and feeling my warm body at the same time as her father’s footsteps scared her awake.
I threw the sheet over her head as her dad opened the door.
“Hey Y/N it’s time to wake up.” Mr.Lopez said
“Hey do you mind if I wake Santana up. I just don’t ever get to see her with how often I’m at Crawford.” I said
“Yeah sure.” He said
He shut the door and Santana ran to her bedroom. I sat up and threw on my school uniform.
Crawford gave all the Glee members a half day so that we could practice. Which meant that I could run by McKinley. I got to McKinley and found the Glee club in the auditorium watching one of there competitions in sectionals.
“Hey what are you doing here?” Mr.Schue asked when I came and sat next to him
“Don’t worry I’m not gathering information on you guys. Oh god they’re good.” I said
“Yes they are I guess you can watch us until after sectionals.” Mr.Schue said
“Can I call you Will now that I am not your student.” I asked
“I guess that I can’t stop you I’m just a random adult.” Mr.Schue said
We both watched the performance.
“You will have to step up your performance of your gonna compete with them.” I said
“What you’re saying that you guys can dance that good.” Mr.Schue asked
“Not all of us but we use the assets we have.” I said
“Okay well we will work on our hairography and I will invite you to watch.” Mr.Schue said
“Sounds great.” I said
“What’s up are you picking me up?” Santana asked
“Nope actually your parents are I have to go start working on this book I have to write but I will see you tonight.” I said
Walking away and driving to Crawfords off campus library. I was able to get the first two chapters done but I couldn’t find anything else about me. I wrote about how I love football and when I was little I wanted to be on a football team. I wrote about what it was like when I came out to my family. But I couldn’t figure it out. When I was leaving I saw a flier for Girls Flag Football. I mean it wasn’t an actual football team but it sounded fun. Tryouts were next week. I went home and I pushed my homework to the side I didn’t even know what to write. I started practicing for the team. I would go home and throw the pig against the wall trying to catch it for hours on end. Then halfway through the week I started moving furniture to practice. It was Friday and I was getting ready to practice when I got a text from Mr.Schue saying that the Glee club was hairogrphying monday after school with the deaf kids school. Friday
“Hey what you doing?” Santana asked me
“I have to get this homework done I’m so sorry.” I said
“Okay well my parents aren’t home and I was hoping for a little bit of girl on girl stuff.” Santana said
“That sounds great but I really need to get this finished. So that I can have time for other stuff next week.” I said
“Come on since you’ve gone to Crawford I haven’t been able to have any sexy time with you. I show up in lingerie knocking on your door and instead of doing it we fight.” Santana said
“Look how about you have a sleepover at Brittnay’s and I will make it up to you soon I promise. Trust me I like your sweet lady kisses.” I said wrapping my arms around her and kissing her.
“Okay fine I will go to Brittnay’s but you better make it up to me.” Santana said leaving the room
Text messages Santana: How’s the homework going Y/N: Not good your lucky that you go to McKinley Santana: Can’t you just not do it. Y/N:you promised Brittnay you’d have a sleepover so how about tonight? Santana:well I guess that I won’t be wearing any panties this whole weekend. Y/N:if you don’t I won’t. I might just stop wearing them completely. Santana:Good maybe I need you so bad that I need to ditch Brittnay. Y/N:Goodnight love you. Santana:Love you too.
I went to bed after practicing Friday night and Saturday I woke up and decided I really needed to finish my essay so I picked up my idea book and went to the library I was able to get a couple more things out and on the paper. When I got a phone call saying that Santana got her drivers license and so they were going out to Celebrate with her entire family and they wanted me to come. So I hopped in my car and headed back home. When I got there I took a quick shower and threw on some dressy casual clothes.
But underneath was a suprise for Santana.
“Okay I’m ready.” I said as I went downstairs
“Okay she will be home in like 5 minutes she is driving down the street.” Mrs.Lopez said
Soon enough the door opened and Santana was holding her keys.
“I’m so proud of you baby girl.” Mrs.Lopez said
“Thank mom.” Santana said hugging her
“Does this mean that you will be driving me to the mall now.” I said
“Oh come on you like driving us to the mall.” Santana said
“Okay fine congrats now just don’t get into any car accidents. Be safe please.” I said
“I agree be safe.” Mr.Lopez said
“Now let’s go back in your car and head off to your dinner.” Mrs.Lopez said
“You got me a car?” Santana said
“Yes.” Mr.Lopez said
We all got in the car and headed off to the party. Which had a ton of gifts for Santana. I found some people that I recognized and walked over to the other Cheerios with Santana.
“Oh my god thank you for coming.” Santana said
“Are you kidding me you’re our best friend how couldn’t we come?” Brittnay said
“Congrats now I won’t have to drive you around everywhere.” Quinn said
“That’s what I said but be careful she scolded me for saying it.” I said
“Well we are all so proud of you.” Hope said
“I’m gonna go say hi to my family so my parents don’t get mad but then I’ll come back over here.” Santana said
“So Quinn how’s the baby doing?” I asked
“My stomach is so itchy.” Quinn said
“Yeah see I wish I had found something to help with that.” I said
“Also if I lift my shirt it looks like an alien is growing inside of me. I used to have abs.” Quinn said
“Yeah well if you work hard after you have the baby you’ll have them back in a couple years.” I said
“Years?” Quinn asked
“Yeah sorry. Have you decided what you wanted to do with the kid yet?” I asked
“No I think that I might want to keep it.” Quinn said
“We miss you at McKinley.” Brittnay said
“Yeah we do.” Quinn said
“I just miss you last year me and you spent every waking second together cause you had no friends and neither did I and now we don’t go to the same school we’re living in different households.” Hope said
“Well I can’t fix yours Hope but I am gonna come see you guys Monday.” I said
“Gift time” The Dj announced
Most of the gifts were for the car as excepted. I just didn’t realize Puck was there he gave her two gifts since he was her boyfriend. He gave her windshield wiper fluid and a picture of them to hand up. After gifts she walked up to me over by the drinks.
“WHY Didn’t you get me a gift?” She asked as I lead her to the bathroom. It was single stall so I just locked the door when I went in.
“I did I got you a lot actually. I have bought you a Subwoofer and a new Radio which will be getting installed by me sometime next weekend that and I have bought tickets for your parents anniversary this week a month long cruise and 3 weeks in Mexico. So it’s just you and me at home and for tonight. Well I guess you’ll just have to wait to see what I am wearing underneath this.” I said walking out of the bathroom leaving her flustered.
The rest of the party went by fast. We were getting ready to leave we were just waiting for her parents to finish up their conversation with one of her uncles. We waited and then they finally arrived. We drove home and her parents got in a car and drove off to the airport.
Once they were gonna Santana pulled me inside. Shut the door leaving the lights off she tore my clothes off me and then we ran up the stairs.
“Damn where have you been hiding this?” She asked.
“Oh I bought it for you today. Why do you like it?” I asked
“I would like it better off of you.” She said
I slowly started to lean over her kissing her neck where she is the most sensitive. As she unclipped the Bra. I slowly started to turn so that she would be on top of me.
“Oh so I’m the one on top today!” Santana said seductively
“Well I need to know how good you are at being road if I'm gonna be driving with you soon.” I said
“No just no.” Santana said
“Yeah that was pretty bad.” I said
“Now shut your pretty mouth so that I can get to work of you screaming my name.” Santana said
I gladly obliged as she went down to my legs and pulled them apart. She put her mouth right over my clit and started sucking rubbing her tongue back and forth. I tried to close my legs and ride her face.
She stopped and shook her head no pushing my legs back down. I concede letting her take the lead. I moaned when her fingers made contact with my aching center.
As she slid two fingers in and started thrusting in and out with her thumb following the same motion as her tongue over clit.
Yes Santana I moaned as she hit the G spot. I could feel the waves building up in me. When she finally curled both of her fingers. I exploded all over fingers and face. She moved her face coming up to my face to suck on my boobs as I finished riding out her fingers.
She came up and lied next to me in my arms kissing me as we made out. After a while of needing oxygen we let go of each other’s lips. We just laid there in silence for a few moments.
“That was…” I said
“The first of many you sent my parents away for pretty much two months. You just got yourself into a heap of trouble.” Santana said
“If this is my punishment. I guess I will just have to be really really naughty.” I said
We laid there for a little longer. Cuddling each other.
“I really need to get my homework done.” I said
“Well you could do your homework or we can have a round two.” Santana said hoping back on top of me
We went all night long. We lost track of time we didn’t realize how long we had been going at it til we could see the sun seeping through the window. In Santanas bedroom. Two sounds were filling the air Santana screaming my name as she orgasmed on my fingers and the song the birds were singing outside.
We went and laid together for a couple minutes until her alarm went off.
“You know we could just skip school.” Santana said
“That sounds so nice. We could just skip school until your parents come back.” I said
“realistically how long will you let me lay in this bed?” Santana asked
“Until 11:00am. I will have to drop you off at school and go to my Glee practice and then I’m going to see yours.” I said
“Wait are you actually letting me stay home today.” Santana asked looking at me
”Yes. I just want to sleep in with my sexy Latina girlfriend. Who kept me up all night.” I said
“Yeah well I think it was my sexy (whatever you want to put replace the next word with) Italian girlfriend was the one who started it with her gift for me passing my driving test finally I mean I am 16 and 1/2 and can finally drive.” Santana said
“Yeah well was it better gift than the windshield wiper fluid Puck gave you.” I said
“Yes babe your gifts are better than Pucks is that all you care about?” Santana asked
“No I also care about if you liked it.” I said
“I loved it i always love it when I’m on top of you and you’re screaming my name and moaning it too.” Santana said
“Okay we’ll set your alarm and let’s go to bed.” I said
We finally slept. Her twin bed felt so big with how close we were to each other.
We woke up a few hours later and got dressed and headed out to the car and I drove Santana to school. Realizing that it would be easier if we went together.
I went to Crawford and entered the choir room. I was still struggling to walk and stand from the previous nights activities.
“I haven’t seen you at all today.” Nicky said
“Hey Nicky yeah no I stayed home.” I said
“Oh I hope that you’re not sick.” Nicky said
“Nope just in pain.” I said under my breath but she still heard due to how close I was standing to her.
“Migraine?” She asked
“Yeah I think I got it from the stress of being at a new school.” I said
“Well I could maybe help you with that why don’t you stay after the club ends so I could try and help if you know what I mean.” Nicky said
“I actually have plans with my friends.” I said
“Okay well maybe you could ditch them. It won’t take long just like fourteen minutes.” Nicky said
“I’m really good I don’t have it anymore a day of sleep helped.” I said knowing what she was getting at
We had the meeting which lasted until two o’clock. I had finished packing up by backpack but was in the corner putting my guitar away in its bag.
“You know my offer still stands I don’t live far from here.” Nicky said
“No I have plans with my friends.” I said adamantly
“What so special about these friends.” Nicky asked confidently strutting towards me
“There like my family.” I said as she stood right in front of me with the look in her eyes that Santana had when she looked at me.
(This is Nicky)
I pushed her away and walked away.
“Hey Y/L/N who got you waking like that?” Nicky said
“My hot sexy cheerleader girlfriend.” I said without thinking
“Is she gonna be there?” Nicky asked
“I mean it is her school.” I said
“Well tell her to not let her girlfriend out of her eyes because I could easily steal her.” Nicky said
“Nope shes already got me under lock and key. I belong to her.” I said as I walked out of the room and left the building.
I was sat in Glee club next in the corner so that I wouldn’t interfere with anything but so that I could still watch.
I kept my hand on my mouth as every time I saw Santana I just kept saying I am so gay. I mean there wasn’t even dancing they were moving their hair around. But I mean she was so hot her outfit everything. I watched in amazement wishing that it would never end. The deaf kids didn’t seem as impressed as me if at all.
The deaf kids song was really moving. Especially once the New directions stood up and started doing it with them. It reminded me of when I did silent night in sign language with my middle school choir.
Me and Santana left together after the performance. That night we had fun activities we had decided to take a break while Santana went downstairs to get our take out from breadsticks. When I got a phone call from Quinn.
“Y/N I have no clue what to do.” Quinn said crying and hyperventilating
“Quinn calm down where are you at.” I asked
“Pucks house I’m downstairs.” Quinn said crying
“I’m on my way okay. What’s the address ” I said jumping out of the bed and throwing some clothes on.
She gave me the address and I grabbed my keys and hopped in the car and drove to Pucks house. I ran up to the door and Knocked on the door.
“Hey what are you doing here?” Puck said opening the door
“Quinn wanted some mother advice something about her pregnancy.” I said not sure if he had done something to her
“Yeah she’s downstairs.” Puck said
I ran downstairs and saw her lying on the couch crying. I ran over and wrapped my arms around her.
“What happened?” I asked
“I thought that Puck was going to be a good father. I wanted to check so on Friday I had him babysit Mr.Schues Nephews with me.” Quinn said
“And what?” I asked
“He and Santana were sexting the entire time.” Quinn said showing me the pictures she had taken of his phone.
“What did you do?” I asked
“I told Mr.Schue’s ex wife that she could have the baby. She wants it so that Mr.Schue will take her back.” Quinn said
“Oh come here I got you okay but we aren’t giving the baby to her. Do you want your daughter to turn out as psychotic as her and her sister.” I said
“No.” Quinn said
“I can hook you up with my adoption agency or we can take it one step at a time.” I said
“Do you regret giving up your daughter?” Quinn asked
“Every single day. I would have been a great mother. But I also couldn’t have joined Glee and I would never have had time to watch Cheerio practice. So the life I have know wouldn’t exist.” I said
“I’m sorry I called you about this I know it probably hurts you. I know that you have crush on Santana and most of us Cheerios. You blush every time we talk to you.” Quinn said
“Yeah well there is a lot of hurt you have to go through when you’re a lesbian who usually falls for straight girls. Who are already in a relationship.” I said
“You’re telling me.” Quinn said quietly
“What did you say? Does Quinn Fabray have a girl crush.” I said
“What no?” Quinn said
“Coach Sylvester.” I said
“Gross” Quinn said
“Tina” I said
“No” Quinn said
“Okay fast round Brittnay.” I said
“No” Quinn said
“Too bad you too would be hot together.” I said
“Is that really who you ship in Glee club.” Quinn said
“No.” I said
“Then who do you ship?” Quinn asked
“Not saying.” I said
“Oh you have an ego so you’ll definitely ship someone with yourself. Do you ship a foursome with the unholy trinity.” Quinn asked
“Hey I’m not the one being Questioned here.” I said
“That wasn’t a no. You know what I understand that it is kinda hot. Too bad we’re all straight.” Quinn said
“You can’t say I’m straight and having a foursome with me, Brittnay and Santana is hot in the same sentence. It’s counter productive it’s like care Blanchett saying I’m married any time something gay happens.” I said
“Sure.” Quinn said
“Is your girl crush me?” I said smirking
“You wish.” Quinn said
“You know what I really do.” I said
“Okay well there’s only a couple left it isn’t Rachel is it.” I said
Quinn looked away
“O oh my god it is.” I said
“That just makes me sad.” I said
“Why?” Quinn asked
“Cause you could have a crush on anyone in glee and you choose her. You choose the straightest one. Also if you two do get together I’m not going to the wedding.” I said
“Do you hate her that much?” Quinn said
“Yes.” I said
“What has she done to you.” Quinn asked
“She foiled my plan for making you three fall madly in love with me also she gets everything she wants and she’s way to happy the only things that should be that happy are babies and dogs.” I said
“What was your plan?” Quinn asked
“Get you all to leave your boyfriend’s get Santana and Brittnay to finally get together.” I said
“Wait you know those two like each other I thought that I was the only one who saw it.” Quinn said
“I’m happy I’m not alone in seeing that. Anyway then I would beat someone up cause according to my sister you all found me hot when you guys were creeping on me and watched me beat the shit out of karofosky.” I said
“She told you about that? I mean it was hot only an idiot would think it wasn’t.” Quinn said
“Well what if I go beat Puck up. He deserves it.” I said
“That would not do anything.” Quinn said
“Dang it you know he has a very punchable face.” I said
“I think that you just jealous. That he got all of the wemon you like without trying.” Quinn said
“Wrong he had to get you drunk to get with you. I would never do that.” I said
“Shut up do you wanna watch a movie with me.” Quinn said
“Yes please.” I said picking up the blanket on the ground as we both laid down.
“Cream cheese covered pickle.” Quinn said overlong me one of her snacks
“Hell yeah.” I said grabbing one and biting into it.
“Puck thinks they’re gross.” Quinn said
“Well when I was pregnant I ate lemons that were covered in hot sauce.” I said
“That’s disgusting.” Quinn said
“You know what’s gross my craving for hot sauce was from before I was pregnant I used to drink bottles of hot sauce.” I said
“You must be loving living with a Latina family then. I know Santana’s family loves their spicy food.” Quinn said
“I know it’s my heaven.” I said as the movie started
After being four movies into the Harry Potter series Quinn fell asleep on me. I headed upstairs.
“Is she better?” Puck asked
“Yeah she is.” I said
“I don’t know what I’m doing.” Puck said
“Look trust me I know it’s hard. But lose your playboy ways and that baby will be in your life. You’ll be a dad and a good one at that.” I said
“That’s easy for you too say you keep on flirting with both my girlfriends.” Puck said
“Puck when you have too girlfriends you have an issue you’re going to have to choose Santana or Quinn and you better choose before you lose both of them.” I said
“What to you.” Puck said
Yes to me I am already fucking Santana and I easily could have taken that flirting down stairs in another direction “No they are straight they will never like me and I have come to terms with that.” I said
“Thank you.” Puck said
“No problem.” I said
“Hey did you need anything?” Puck asked
“Yeah actually could I borrow your phone I will bring it to you tomorrow my phone just died and I need to text my sister cause I’m meeting up with her and Matt.” I said
“Yeah sure just don’t look at any of the text.” Puck said
“I mean unless you’re sending dick pics to my sister then we will be fine.” I said
“Your sister’s Matt’s I’m not fucking with that.” Puck said
I got in the car and drove back to Santanas house. I sat in the car for a little bit. Comparing there texts to ours they were practically the same. Except Santana had clearly excepted his offer to have sex. Whereas I was being a good person and told her to stay with Brittnay.
“Where have you been?” Santana asked as soon as I came in
“Just helping someone out.” I said putting my jacket down
“Well I have been worried sick.” Santana said
“Oh really cause I think you have been sexting Puck just like you were Friday.” I said throwing both of the phones showing the text on the counter. “Come on Santana you were sexting us at the same time how long do you think it will take until you’ll have to choose which one of us. What would have happened if I had told you to come over and didn’t tell you to stay at Britney’s who would you have chosen.” I said
“Why were you even at his house?” Santana asked
“Quinn called me crying cause the baby was feeling weird and she knew that I would probably know what it was. Then after we had dealt with her Braxton hicks she told me about her plan to keep the baby and to raise it with puck and that she had him babysit to see how he was with kids and how the entire time he was sexting you.” I said
“What are you saying?” Santana asked
“Maybe we need to take some time apart you need to figure out what you want. I am gonna be staying downstairs. We’re just gonna be friends. Cause I can’t keep letting you break my heart one day your telling me you love me the next day your having sex with Puck.” I said

Oh, this is going to be a fun one! (I hope.) Not necessarily romantic (but you can if you want!!) 14 or 22 for Larry and Edgeworth! (Ace Attorney)
Asks that remind me I never uploaded my Larry Zine fic to Ao3. Did that by the time you get this prompt fill, but Here's that for those who have not seen it. On with the main event!
14. phone call and 22. reunion hug
Although Miles has spent more time far across the ocean than here—speaking German in quaint little towns with clear skies, winding waterways, and unique historical architecture—Los Angeles with its sea of skyscrapers and palm trees mixed with shrines and Japanese street food stands is still the only city he truly calls home. It’s good to be back—or at least it would be were he not stranded at LAX for the past several hours with no ride in sight. He wants to sleep in his own bed! For god’s sake, what could be taking him so long?
Bzzzzt. Through the many layers of his suit and coat, his phone vibrating is still more felt than heard in the endless noise of Terminal B. It doesn’t last long. “What happened?”
“Not even a hello? Rude!” whines the voice on the other end, loud enough Miles has to pull the phone away from his ear despite the surrounding cacophony.
“Butz, I was on a flight for 12 hours in a cramped economy seat, and now I’m sitting on my suitcase in an airport terminal. You try being congenial in these circumstances.”
“Listen man—” Larry starts, and a horn blares from nearby him, “—the traffic out here is TERRIBLE! What do you want from me? It’s like Moozilla vs Gourdy levels of people trying to leave town, and then the car—” Another horn. Again? Larry pulls away from the mic and yells, “Hey, watch it, buddy! I’m right here!”
A horrible thought strikes him, accompanied by the image of a beat up Honda CR-V smashed like an accordion against a highway K-rail: “Please tell me you are not still behind the wheel.”
“What? No!” Thank god. “I’m crossing the street! These guys are crazy out here! They almost hit me with a car!”
“Well, those are LA drivers for you,” Miles drawls with the faintest hint of a smirk. He really ought to stop underestimating Larry; although his choices are usually dubious, he agreed to pick him up on short notice when no one else would.
“They’re out for blood! My life is at stake!”
“I’m sure you will survive the perils of crossing the street.”
“What about the guys riding the curb? Nowhere is safe! I might not have any feet after this! And I don’t think you know how to drive American cars…”
What kind of ridiculous assumption is that? It’s just a car! It can’t be that different! “Just hurry up.”
“I’m doing my best!” Larry yells. “Why didn’t you get a cab? Most people do.”
“I had not planned to return home this soon, and…” How could he? Who would have expected this? And only a mere two weeks after Miles swore to reform the entire legal system! As soon as the news graced his phone screen, well…let’s just say he panicked, and after an uncountable number of rejected calls and going straight to voicemail before that too was turned off, he booked the soonest flight home without regard to logistics; it only occurred to him mid-flight he does not have means to get home. “I was not quite thinking clearly.”
“He really provokes something else in you, huh?” The who remains unspoken. For his numerous idiosyncrasies and struggles with basic logic, for matters of the heart, Larry is strikingly intuitive. Though Miles did not once say why he was already back home in that call sitting in the back of the plane waiting to get out, the wobbling wave weaved through every word must have given him away.
There’s a pause—1…2…3—then a sigh. “Yes.”
“Yeah, I get it,” Larry says, in a quiet voice, or at least as quiet as he can manage in the interminable noise of LAX’s international terminal. “It’s good you came back.”
‘I agree’, Miles thinks. ‘I had to,’ he affirms. ‘Was there any other choice?’ he asks. ‘It is the least I can do to pay him back for all he’s done for me,’ he confesses. ‘I may not be able to do much more than this; the undertaking I’ve begun is so massive, and already I’ve lost one of my greatest allies,’ he worries. ‘I did not envision beating back this darkness alone,’ he despairs. ‘But I must,’ he resolves. ‘Perhaps it’s fitting that my work begins with changing the legal world to bring him back.’
“Mm.” A grunt will have to suffice. He’s sure that Larry understands that without it being spoken as well.
Larry says something indecipherable, muffled by something blocking the microphone, but before Miles can ask him to repeat it, there’s a shout and an abrupt click. “Now who is being rude,” he grumbles, looking up from his phone right as an orange track suit comes rocketing towards him.
“Edgeyyy!!!” He yells, loud enough to turn the heads of several tourists, although if he notices, it affects him not one whit.
“You’re causing a scene,” Miles says, giving a pointed glance to the other stragglers loitering in this corner who are now gawking at Larry as he jumps over suitcases and sprints across the tile floor.
To his surprise, Larry actually listens, skidding to a sudden stop with an “Oops!” about five feet away, and the tourists return their attention elsewhere. “I was gonna give you a welcome back hug, but then I figured you don’t really like that kinda thing.”
“A good assumption,” Miles says and picks himself off his luggage. Everything is still here—yes. Exactly where it should be. “Alright. We should make haste.” I cannot bear this noise for even one second longer.
But Larry says nothing and remains firmly rooted in place even as Miles starts wheeling his way out; whereas before he wore a smile too big for his face, now his mouth is curved into an uneasy half-frown.
“What’s wrong?”
“Sorry. I was just thinking about something.”
Normally, Miles would say, ‘a rarity,’ but with that wavering misty gaze, it’s clear now is not the time for snark. “About…?”
“I’ve never been to this part of the terminal before. Y’know. For arrivals.”
That’s it? But Miles bites his tongue. Obviously, that is not merely it, but what it is is beyond him. Miles is nothing like Larry; for him, emotions are an enigma beyond understanding. And I have no evidence to work with! Well, that’s not strictly true. Think! His phrasing suggests Larry’s been here for departures, and yet never the return. That’s not how traveling works—you have to return home—but Miles didn’t take him as the traveling type for several reasons, so that only leaves… “Ah.”
Miles has never given much thought to Larry’s myriad relationships. They never last very long; he can hardly remember any of his former girlfriends’ names, only that they tend to be models and actresses, and at some point, without fail, they leave to travel abroad. Presumably, they must come back, in the same way Miles does, but…not for him. They never come back to him.
Passengers from the latest arrival pour out from the hallway out of customs and into the lobby in droves, reuniting with their loved ones waving them down with enthusiastic shouts of “Welcome home!” Not far from them, a middle-aged man welcomes a girl home, perhaps his daughter, with outstretched arms, and she tackles him with a laugh.
“Anyway, we can head out,” Larry starts, speeding towards the exit but without the bombast from earlier, “but I gotta warn you it’s really bad out—”
“Larry.” Deep breaths. Inhale. Exhale. You can manage this.
“What?” Larry says. He hasn’t stopped.
“Come here.” His arms move like they belong to a rusted machine, disjointed, clunky and slow and slow, and Miles has never felt less in control of his limbs before. How does anyone do this?
“Why? Aren’t we leaving? I thought you wanted to go home.”
“Butz so help me—”
“Dude, make up your mind—” But Larry’s words putter out once he finally turns around, and he stands there with his mouth still hanging open. It flaps, open, then less, again and again as he tries yet fails to speak.
Yes, I know I look ridiculous! This was a terrible idea! What is he doing? Why is he doing this? Yes, they’re friends, but it’s not like he can fix it! He didn’t come home for Larry’s sake either, so isn’t this a meaningless, symbolic gesture of pity? What’s the point?
“Edgeeeeyyyy!!!,” Larry cries, and once again barrels across the airport terminal, crashing into Miles at full force, almost knocking them to the floor were it not for Miles’ luggage behind them, but despite the strength of the crash, the hug itself is gentle. Enthusiastic, but gentle. “I missed you, man!!”
“I was not even gone a week.” The rust in his arms slowly falls away when Miles hugs him back.
“Still!” Larry says as he steps back with a sniff. “Only you can make offering a cheer-up hug look like struggling to lift 200 pounds.”
“Nnngghhh—” Must he say it so bluntly? Curse his intuition!
But Larry’s impossibly big smile from earlier is back, so maybe this humiliation is okay. “It’s good to be back, right?”
Yes, it is. Los Angeles is a mess of skyscrapers and shrines and endless horrific traffic, a city rife with corruption that stretches deep into the foundation of government, yet just as filled with people who would drop everything to come get him, no matter how ill-tempered and emotionally inarticulate he is. “Yes, it is.” Thank you.

Just processing into the void again. Thanks for seeing me, those who comment and heart.
Matt and I took a time out to do devotionals and listen to some worship music to get our hearts and minds refocused on God. It helped in the moment. But I’m back to being emotionally wrecked.
We are going to fix two of the car problems for roughly 400$ and then the last one mid January and fingers crossed we make it. I don’t travel very far.
Things are getting worse and worse with our roommates by the day, by almost each moment really.
Friend roommate is looking to leave again (she was gone this past weekend ) to get more space. I guess comments were made by her wife that she shouldn’t have come home/they should spend more time apart.
It’s definitely awkward living here and hearing the fights and knowing that we are definitely not wanted by one of them. My car has obviously been broken down and with roomie gone, she let us use her car to work (Uber, shipt) and get to my pet sits. Wife was not happy and made comments about it.
My PTSD is not okay as her wife reminds me exactly of my ex husband. Losing their shit one moment and being totally calm and putting on a friendly front. I’m out of the house most days with pet sitting and when I’m here, there’s always a warm “you’re home!” There was a short period of time before Rover kicked off where our routine was a caffeinated drink, news, and game shows until they started fighting and I hid in the room. Fun until it wasn’t fun.
I feel so trapped in the bedroom when I’m here. Honestly like I felt trapped in the bedroom when I lived with my ex and his grandmother. Wondering again where I would be living day to day with the hot and cold of my ex and the never ending fighting and threats of divorce. Broke as fuck because he refused to work and I Carried the financial weight. Different this time because we’re both trying hard to get re-employed. M did delivery work that was helping with bills but now I’m out of a car until we can fully fix everything.
We are looking at room rentals, short term Airbnb room rentals, short term studio rentals. Because what we can afford is about 2 hours from where we are trying to get long term employed. long story short without going into personal details, the specific line of work M is looking at getting re-certified in are only sponsoring in certain areas. So he’s looking for anything to get by in this moment while beginning the long process of the more stable career.
I’m floating in the wind. Caught between what I thought was going to be a career change vs misery in staying in social work. Social work will pay more, but starting my work in the animal care field will set me up better long term. I’m feeling very motivated to stay in this field, but it’s a shit time to make that change.
I’m just floored at the difference 3 weeks made. I was JUST writing about how happy I was, my mental health was healing, I was excited about work and the opportunities I Had in front of me.
Now I’m back in survival mode. I know the emotional and verbal abuse isn’t happening to me, but it’s affecting us in all the same ways. I’m having a lot of chest pain and needing my emergency anxiety meds multiple times a week because no matter the amount of coping skills, I cannot calm down.
I don’t know if tongiht would be considered a relapse, but I’m getting drunk because I cannot emotionally handle all of this tonight.
We are working on an emergency game plan in case this week goes to shit and we are kicked out.
I just need to escape. Just for tonight.

Thess vs Resentment
Bed soon, but first, quick commentary.
I think I mentioned that I had to be commuting into work on Tuesday and Wednesday, because Scruffman was on annual leave. I said I’d email him to check in today. I technically didn’t have to because he’d sent me like three separate emails asking for reports that he’d apparently been sitting on since my annual leave last week, so like fuck does he ever ask anyone else to do those (he insisted that he asked others to send out reports when I was unavailable but one of those emails was dated 6th February so fuck that). But I did anyway, in a separate email, after I was done sending the reports and shouting “WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?” at the walls. The nice thing was that his reply was thanking me for making the effort to come in and underlining our “You only have to come in if we really need a warm body in the office” agreement. Which is nice because I don’t like the commuting. It hurts. And I swear to whatever fucking god you like that if I have to do it two days in a row? I’m going to quietly murder someone.
Anyway, today wasn’t a great day because Temp was on her bullshit again. I mean, seriously on her bullshit. Once I’d finally sent like twenty reports to people, I looked at the typing queue and what do you know? A whole bunch of long-ass bits of typing from the most annoying people to type for, and a list of timestamps making it very obvious that Temp picked and chose the shorter things to type while leaving me with the long complicated bullshit. But of course I took them because they were basically right there, all at the head of the queue, and just loaded up my personal queue with those and a whole bunch of other mid-length or short ones that followed the long bullshit chronologically. And when I finally finished up with that and went to pick some more stuff out of the queue? Same thing - four bits of typing in the 6-7 minute range, a couple of 3 minute ones, and a 14 minute long monstrosity from the really aggravating guy I’d already typed two long and bullshitty documents for that day. (He’s a nice guy, don’t get me wrong. Just he has this thing about jumping around in the dictation doing the short dictations first which is fine for him but ends up with me having to switch spots on the document and it throws off my rhythm, plus he makes things longer than they need to be just in general.) So I took the first six and left the 14 minute monstrosity behind - I was doing enough long ones and I was not eating the rest of the afternoon with that just because Temp couldn’t be bothered. Thankfully it was gone by the time I went back to pick up more typing, so that was a bonus. Thing is, when I went to pick up a last couple of bits of typing about fifteen minutes before close of play? She’d done it again. Thankfully no more 14 minute monstrosities, but by this point, given that she’d been doing it all damn day? I was done. I took one longish one and the outstanding urgent reports and left her with the rest of it, citing “I don’t have time for your bullshit right now”. I mean, come on. I’m still in significant pain from the whole deal of having to commute to work two days in a row when my buses have been crammed with uni students and tourists (yeah, both of them; I have no idea). I do my share of the long shit, but I resent the fuck out of having to do hers as well.
I just resent the fuck out of this. She takes advantage of the fact that I will do exactly what I was asked to do - take things in chronological order unless there’s a really good reason, like “This is an urgent bit of typing”, or “It’s not marked as urgent but I’m being told they want it right the fuck now”, or even “I’m leaving in fifteen minutes and the longer ones always take longer than the actual time stamp says”. She’s been talked to about this at least twice; all I ever get is “Don’t stress about it”. Easy for her to say; it’s to her benefit if I don’t. And Scruffman doesn’t have time to keep track of that. It’s a nightmare and I’m fed up. I should not be in a war of attrition with my co-worker because she’s a lazy mare. She should just stop being a lazy mare! But that isn’t going to happen so I don’t even at this point.
Anyway, I was basically productive today, but when carrying an armload of laundry across the house to stick it in the washing machine hurts, you know it’s a bad day. But laundry’s done and folded and put away. I put the new sheets and duvet cover I got for my birthday on the bed, which is great because now I can wait a day or so before I next do laundry. I should probably do a load that includes my towels tomorrow, so that can be that. Of course, I do have to survive tomorrow, which means praying that Temp doesn’t pull her bullshit again. But the good thing about working from home is that I can actually do stuff like keep a metaphorical eye on the laundry, and switch the washer to dryer mode when it’s done washing, so I’ll have clean towels for bath without having to wait on said bath. ...It’s the little things.
Also I put an actually recipe post on the Cooking With Spoons blog, and tomorrow I’m thinking, if I have a spoon available, I might put the recipe for my tuna broccoli lemon pasta. It’s a good one for when the spoons are just lacking. And they seriously are - the only reason I’m not in bed is a need to vent and the whole thing where I had a two hour nap earlier in the evening so that should bring me to a “good night’s sleep” equilibrium.

Switched Alliances - Part 3 (Leila Ouahabi x Reader)
Brighton. Quarter final. England vs Spain. You were not ready. You had been sat with two jerseys on your hotel bed in front of you for the last hour. On the one hand you wanted to support your sister and the country that had been your home for the majority of your life but on the other you wanted to support Leila and the country that you were born in.
God you hated how little you visited your birth country. It just held so much heart break that it was hard for you to think of it as anything other than the place that you were given away from.
Still stood in your sports bra you were snapped out of your thoughts by your phone ringing. Picking it up you were greater with a young Lauren pulling a funny face at you. God you loved that photo.
“Hey little sis what’s up? Shouldn’t you be getting into the zone or something?” Lauren rarely called you on match days, she was big on not having the outside world affect her headspace before a match.
“I can feel you having a debate with yourself from up here. I know you love me and support me so if you want to wear Ouahabi’s shirt then do it. You will always be my big sister no matter what differences we have on our birth certificates. I know whatever this is with Leila has made you think about the past but don’t let it stop you from something that could be great. You deserve the world y/n, don’t let your past define your future.” You forgot how well the girl knew you sometimes. She was honestly the best sister you could ever ask for and you were so glad that you had her and she felt the same way you did.
“You’re the best squirt. I have no idea what I did to deserve you in my life but I’m glad I do. Now go get yourself ready you have a final to make.” The laugh and beaming smile you could hear in her voice when she replied she would just do that was all you needed to hear. She knew that you were her biggest fan and no matter what debate you were having right now that would never change.
Once you ended the call you noticed the message you had received during that time. Leila's name was staring at you with a message that brought a smile to your face.
Hola. So I know today is going to be a tough one and I know what I’m like at games so I just want you to know that no matter what I do or say I want to get to know you. I can be an idiota when I get passionate and that causes me to act out sometimes. Just no matter what I want to speak to you after the game win or lose. Ps Wear your England shirt. I kinda want to see what you look like as an enemy 😉
You couldn’t help but smile at the text. How could someone who seems so sure of themselves be so soft and insecure. You found it endearing that she was so worried about what spicy pitch Leila could do to her chances of seeing you after the game but you knew she had nothing to worry about.
Hola. Thank you for saying this it was really cute but you don’t need too. I’ll speak to you whenever you want too no matter what happens in a game of football. As for the shirt I’ll wear yours for good luck to you for now until I leave but then yes I will be in your enemies shirt. Good luck my ball slamming Spaniard and I’ll see you later.
You grabbed the Spain shirt as you said you would and pulled it over your head. You were only going out to the coffee shop down the street anyway for breakfast so you weren’t too worried about anyone you knew seeing you in the enemies too today.
You are not letting me live that moment down are you? See you later hermosa
You hearted the message and took a moment to let it sink in that the Leila Ouahabi was calling you beautiful in person and over text.
After a quiet breakfast and sending Leila a text of you in her jersey before switching into Lauren’s one, you grabbed your stuff and got ready to meet your mum in the lobby.
You were a bundle of nerves mixed with excitement. Even though you had only met the Spanish woman a week ago she was already the first person you wanted to speak to when you woke up and your last thought before you fell asleep. Then there was the added thing of by the end of the night you were going to have one person you cared about at least sad and you didn’t like the people around you being sad.
You decided whatever the outcome you would be both happy with the person that won and sad with and for the person that didn’t. You just hoped you could be the best person for both of them in their states of euphoria or upset.
You were say talking to a few of the lionesses family members when the squads were read out over the tannoys, you cheered as loud as you could when Lauren’s name was called out in an unchanged England squad. You were waiting to cheer Leila in your head but her name never came. Sure that you must have just missed it you looked up the team announcement on your phone only to find out she was in fact on the bench.
You took a second to be slightly relieved that your sister and whatever Leila might be were not facing each other for the whole of this game. If Leila was on she’d be up against your sister and vice versa, something that would have your heart rate through the roof.
You felt really sorry for the woman, after she was brought off at half time in the last game and now loosing her starting spot. You wanted nothing more than to give her a hug right now and tell her you thought she was the best left back ever but you couldn’t. Instead you pulled your phone out and hoped maybe you could catch her before they all put them away.
I’ve just heard the team. I’m sorry. Your coach is an idiot for not playing my favourite and the best left back. I can’t wait to see your cute butt running around that pitch when he realises it.
You turned back to the conversation with your mum only to hear your phone ping a second or two later. Looking at the notification you were happy to see it was Leila hearting your message, you were glad she got to see it. Now you just hoped she would get on.
The first half went by in a flash. There was a lot of Spanish pressure that almost undid the England defence but the final ball wasn’t there. Spain suffocated the England strikers including your sister so that the normal free flowing English attack was none existent. The main chance of the half came from a free kick won by Beth Mead which you watched your sister step up to take. She whipped a dangerous ball into the box that bounced its way through to Ellen White who poked it home. Unfortunately your celebrations were cut short as the linesmen raised his flag as soon as it hit the net. But it was a sign, a little bit of excitement and the joke crowd was eating it up.
You were sat behind the benches and had been disappointed so far because you hadn’t managed to catch the eyes of the Spanish left back currently sitting on the bench down and to your left. She had jogged out to warm up once in the half and had been on her feet with her teammates when a decision didn’t go there way but not once had she turned to find you like she had in the previous two games.
You thought it might have something to do with the fact that you were English, well as far as she knew you were. It probably wouldn’t look too good on her if she turned around and smiled or waved to the English section of the family section. So you put that to the back of your mind and decided that watching her every now and again out the corner of your eye was enough for now.
When the second half began you felt the switch in the air. Both teams where more determined to get a point on the board and it showed in the way they were playing. Tackles were coming in more solidly and chances created.
Ten minutes into the half is when the deadlock is broken. Athena races down the right for Spain and pushes the ball past Daly and squares it into the path of the Esther. That’s the first goal England have conceded all tournament and it could be the one that knocks them out.
Your frown briefly left your face as you saw a smiley Leila making her way back to the bench after running over to celebrate with her teammates. The joy on the woman’s face enough for you to allow yourself that little moment of happiness mostly for her. It didn’t last long though as the game kicked off once again and the atmosphere was tense.
Being a goal down 10 minutes from the end of a game is never nice, neither as a player or a supporter but it’s even worse when it’s in a knockout game. If you don’t score than you don’t play in that competition again. A fact that was starting to creep up on you and the rest of the families supporting the current loosing team.
With your known super subs now on the field and the obvious slight exhaustion in all of the players games, the pace of the game has decreased a little. Something that played right into your sisters hands. She managed to find some space over on the right which Stanway spotted and after one failed cross that ricocheted back to her she sent in another one that perfectly found the head of Russo. You watched with baited breath as she nodded the ball down and into the path of Toone who was making her way into the 6 yard box and only once she smashed it home did you breathe properly again.
They had done it with 5 minutes to spare. You jumped and hugged your mum as you watched the girls celebrate on the pitch. It was only when the referees whistle blow before everyone was set to start that you noticed a bit of commotion coming from the Spain bench. You could hear the angry words being said and you could see the anger etched on Leila's face when you sought her out. They thought there was a foul in the build up and were not happy it hadn’t been looked at, you watched as Miss got a yellow for what you would later find out was booting a drinks cooler and the game got underway again.
Going to extra time was not what either team would have wanted. Those extra 30 minutes could be the cause of tired legs and bad play if they get through in the next game. But that’s where the game went and both teams were still hungry for it.
The hungriest player of all was Stanway though. She picked up the ball in the middle of the field and drove forward, when no one challenged her she set herself to shoot. And shoot she did. The ball flew off her foot, just passed the outreaching fingers of Panos and into the back of the net. Pandemonium that’s the best way to describe the celebrations around you. An extra time screamer that might just book England’s place in the semi finals.
It did just that. The second half of extra time passed with chances created by Spain but nothing the could capitalise on. Spain were out. You celebrated the win with your mum before turning to the field to see Leila and the rest of the Spain ish girls clapping their fans and heading for the tunnel. Just before she got there Leila looked up and picked you out for the first time tonight. The smile you sent her way was not returned, all she did was shake her head and duck out.
So much for seeing you after the game no matter the result.

AHH so glad I finally got to this request I'm sorry it took me so long :(( HOWEVER i had fun writing it!! i really hope you enjoy (ps, no smut unfortunately i tried to add it and it was coming out wrong ahhh) flashbacks are italicized!
WORD COUNT: 2352
WARNINGS: toxic relationship, kinda cute moments between the three of you, cursing, little bit of stalking, threats of violence, no nsfw because i was a little lazy sorry :,(
Had someone told you five years ago that you'd be dating not only Billy Loomis but Stu Macher as well, you’d have laughed straight in their face. And yet here you were, curled up on the couch between the two, your legs thrown over Billys and your head resting on Stu’s shoulder, watching a horror movie. You smile softly as you feel Billy’s hand grip your thigh slightly. He never seemed to realize he was doing it which made it even cuter.
“Remember the day I met you guys?” You question, head moving off of Stu’s shoulder when he turns to look at you. He gives you a goofy grin and nods, kissing the tip of your nose. “Sure, baby. Why?”
“Did you think we would have gotten together? Like, back then?”
“Definitely,” Billy says, poking his finger into your side. You raise an eyebrow at him, catching his hand and holding it in your lap. He sighs, grinning slightly. “Alright, maybe not the day we met, but I knew pretty soon. Why? What’s got you thinking about it?”
You shrug, not really sure yourself. Something about the situation you three were in at the moment made your mind drift to those few awful god damn weeks. “You two really sucked then, you know? Honestly, I’m surprised I didn't kill you both.”
Stu gasps, throwing himself back with a hand on his heart. You roll your eyes; ever the dramatic. “You would have hurt us? I can’t believe this… the betrayal!” You elbow him and he sits back up, laughing, and wraps his arms around you, planting a few sloppy kisses onto your neck.
“We weren’t even that bad, babe.” Billy says, eyes widening as you glare at him.
“Not that bad? Do I need to remind you of the first thing you said to me when we met?” You shoot back, sitting up closer to Stu. You had already forgiven the two for how they acted then, but that doesn’t mean you can’t give them a hard time.
The first day you met Billy and Stu, it had started out good. You still didn’t have many friends but that was perfectly okay with you. You were sat in the grass outside one of the buildings where your next class was held, waiting. Thirty more minutes and you got to go to math; yay. You were leaned up against a tree, headphones in, trying to relax, when two men stood in front of you. They were pretty cute. One was tall, wearing a thin sweater and a goofy grin, while the other was shorter with dark hair and a smirk. The tall one's mouth moves and you pull your earbuds out, about to apologize for not hearing him, when the shorter one speaks.
“Pretty stupid to wait for someone to talk to you before taking your headphones out.” His smile was still there but it was clearly masking his annoyance. Your eyebrows raise in surprise at the gall of this dude. You don’t even know him and he thinks he’s owed a conversation?
“Excuse me?”
“What? You’re deaf and a bitch?” The taller one slaps the back of his head immediately and he grumbles, rubbing the soreness. You scoff, shaking your head, fuming. Was it just this dude or were most people here dicks? You didn't want to find out.
You stand, grabbing your bag and pushing past the two, heading towards the building. Your eyes instantly roll into the back of your head when you hear the sound of footsteps behind you. “Hey, I’m sorry about him, really. That’s how he jokes and sometimes it comes across as mean. I’m Stu and he’s Billy.”
Stopping in your tracks you turn to face Stu, the taller one, and take a second to think of a response. Glancing over at Billy, who had finally caught up with you, you can see what resembles regret on his features. “Well, he didn’t come across as mean, he came across as an asshole.”
Stu laughs, nodding. Billy shrugs, giving you that same weak smile he had shown when he approached. You shrug your backpack up higher onto your shoulder, the weight of it starting to get to you, when Billy grabs ahold of it and yanks it off of you. “What the hell? Give me my shit back!”
“Least I can do is to carry it for you. You going to class?” He asks. It’s like he wasn’t taking no for an answer. You give a large sigh and nod, silently thankful for the weight off your shoulders. “Which building?”
“Sycamore.” He nods and begins to walk there, you and Stu trailing behind him. “Is he always so...?” You ask Stu under your breath, trailing off, unsure of a word that could describe the man. He grins and nods. “Annoying? Mean? Stubborn? Yes, yes, and yes.”
Billy groans at the memory, annoyed. He hated when you brought that up. “I told you I was just having an off day! Come on, you’re acting like Stu didn’t offend you too! Do you not remember when you got food with us, like, that night?” Stu punches Billy in the shoulder hard, pissed that he had brought it up.
“Oh yeah! I kinda forgot about how much of a dickhead Stu was,” You say, leaning back against the couch. It really was a shock your relationship with the boys got to where it was now.
Billy and Stu followed you around all day. It seemed they were trying to apologize for Billy’s attitude earlier but, if you were being honest, it was kind of unnerving. After your math class, where they had walked you inside the building and only left when the professor came in, you saw them waiting outside under the tree you had been at.
“Can you guys stop following me?” You had told them the third time you noticed them, this time at the small diner you stopped by after your last class. Stu’s face turned red and he looked behind him as if there was someone else you could be talking about. “Yeah, you two.”
“We wanted to apologize for earlier,” Billy said, motioning for you to join them at their table. You had to choose which one to sit next too and, after your not-so-pleasant meeting with Billy that morning, you sat next to Stu. He sticks his tongue out at Billy who rolls his eyes.
“You already apologized. It’s getting kind of creepy.” You say, placing your elbow on the table. Before the boys could respond, the waitress walks over, placing down their drinks. She flashes you a smile and takes your order, walking off with a sway in her hips, much to the boy's enjoyment.
Stu throws an arm over your shoulder and you shrug him off, ignoring the pained look he gives you. “We just wanted to make sure you really knew we were sorry! Billy here never acts right around a hottie,”
“Stu you fucking idiot.” Billy spits, throwing something at him. Stu laughs, holding his hands up in mock surrender. Billy looks at you and gives you what looks like a real, genuine smile. “Sorry about him; he can’t seem to think with his upstairs brain.”
“Don’t need to when my downstairs one leads me to be sitting next to a smoke show,” Stu says, holding his hand out to you for a high five. Your face flushes and you ignore him, scooting away from him slightly. He was cute, sure, but way too forward. “What? Can’t compliment people anymore?”
“Not when your compliments are preceded by stalking.” You mutter, a part of you hoping he doesn’t hear it. Unfortunately, he does. You see his face change in your peripheral vision and your eyes flick over to Billy. He grins at you, sitting back in the booth, and taking a sip from his drink. He was enjoying this.
“Stalking? You’re fucking with me, right?” His rant is cut short by the return of the waitress who hands you your drink and places the food the boys had ordered onto the table, completely oblivious to your discomfort. She leaves and Stu grabs a fry from his plate, chewing loudly. “We’re not fucking stalking you - trust me, there are better ways to spend our time.”
Billy throws his balled up straw wrapper at Stu, catching his attention, and you let out a soft sigh of relief when Stu’s demeanor changes. He was back to smiling and laughing as if he hadn’t just been attempting to tear you to shreds. “Sorry about that… I’m pretty tired, that’s all.” Stu says, playing with his fingers.
“S’okay, I guess.”
“Why don’t you let us take you on a date? You know, as an apology?” Billy chimes in and Stu grins, nodding. A large part of yourself was screaming no. There was something off about these boys, something dark just under the surface, but you were intrigued. And so you smile.
“Yeah, I guess you two can do that.”
Billy had his arms wrapped around you, laughing at the excuses Stu was stammering out. He was obviously getting frustrated at the memory and you opened your arms to let him join in on the cuddling.
“You know, I really am glad we stuck together. I don’t know what I’d do if it were for our nightly cuddle sessions,” You say, your words muffled by Stu’s sweater. He pulls back and gives you a kiss, Billy swooping in to take one from him as well.
“Yeah, I don’t know what I’d do without our fuck sessions,” Stu hums and you groan, punching him in the shoulder. What a way to ruin the moment. “Wait, let’s not act like you were a saint in all of this! I remember you being pretty awful at one point.”
“What?! No way!”
Billy nods, tickling your sides for a second. “Sure were, babe.”
Two months into the relationship was your breaking point. You really did like, if not love, the boys and yet you were still an outsider. Walking into the shared apartment just for their whispered conversations to stop. Late nights spent in the living room with hushed voices while you tried to sleep. You felt as though you only knew a portion of the two people you had come to like; no, love.
You admit it was petty. It wasn’t the right thing to do in any circumstance, but you did it because you knew it would get a reaction. You had packed a bag and sat in the living room. You wanted them to see you leave. Wanted them to see how much their secrecy had taken. You had been together only a short while and yet you felt so at home with them that the idea of actually leaving, of breaking it off, nearly tore you apart.
The door opens and in enters Billy and Stu, wrapped up in their own conversation. Stu waves at you, carrying on before realizing what he had just seen. “Babe? What are you doing?”
“I’m leaving.” Your voice was confident, not a waver in sight, and you knew it was because you weren’t planning on leaving. Some would call it manipulation, sure, but you were backed into a corner. Stu’s mouth drops open and Billy stares at you, his eyes narrowed.
“What? What do you mean you’re leaving? What’s wrong? Did something happen?” Stu rushes to sit down next to you on the couch, not wanting to accept the idea that you were leaving them on your own volition. His arms wrap around yours and you shove him off. “Babe?”
You shake your head, standing from your spot on the couch, grabbing ahold of the bag. Billy was still standing near the door, his arms crossed, watching you. “Don’t call me that. The two of you… It’s like I’m not even in this relationship. I’m an outsider with the two people I love and there’s not a damn thing I can do about it.”
“Where the hell is this coming from?” Billy questions, grabbing ahold of your arm when you try to walk past him. His voice is thick and you could see the vein in his forehead throbbing. He was angry and you hate to admit it but that’s exactly what you were hoping for.
For the next two hours the three of you talk about your relationship and the future of it. Stu cried, you cried, Billy sniffled a few times, and then you came to an agreement. No more secrets. They told you things that they hadn't told anyone before that they hid behind a vague threat of ‘once you hear this you’re stuck with us,’ and you told them things you had planned on taking to your grave. To say you weren’t shocked at what they told you would be a lie.
Murder wasn’t what you thought they were capable of and especially not murder so gruesome. But, oddly, you felt better about being with them. They trusted you, loved you, enough to let you know their biggest and darkest secret. And you loved it.
Knowing they wouldn’t hesitate to kill for you was a major turn on, which they soon found out.
“Wow, I really was kind of horrible, wasn’t I.” You mutter as Billy recounts the memory with a few interruptions by Stu. You didn’t remember it that way but the more they talked the more you could tell they were being honest. “Well, good thing we stuck together, hm? Would have been pretty bad if we hadn’t.”
“Yeah because we would have killed you,” Billy whispers into your ear and you shiver. He’s telling the truth and that’s what makes the relationship the way it is; they choose to be with you, to keep you around, to love you. “Yeah, we would have given you a call a while ago,” Stu says, his finger making a slicing motion across your neck.
You roll your eyes not because you don’t believe them but because you do. And you wouldn’t have it any other way.

You thought it would be the perfect opportunity to work at the most well-known country club in the state, but really the only thing your job brought you was perpetual cold to your hands and feet, and entangled your simple life with one of the youngest and richest bachelors at your university.
The only place on top of Mt. Carla is the Augusta Country Club, and it is a sight to see by the regular people who gaze up at it from the city below, like mortals looking up into the Gods’ chamber. The first time you went up the mountain for your job interview at the club, you got lost and were almost late. Thankfully, you didn’t crash your car on the winding roads, and got the job as well.
The Augusta Country Club is equipped with the largest and most expensive golf course in the region, but also has Michilin approved restaurants and the finest saunas and gym equipment any CEO could ask for. Those are usually the type of people that have club memberships: CEO’s, congress men and women, top-notch lawyers, and maybe the odd business owner that made it big enough to afford the price tag.
When you took up the job as a caddie, you had an idea of what you were getting yourself into. You’ve only been working for a month, but there are already a few regular golf players that prefer you as their caddie, which in your book is a success considering the type of high profile people that come to relax here.
However, today is different.
You can sense it when Kara and Mina, your coworkers who have been working here for a year longer than you, walk towards you and your friend, Lia, before your shift today. Mina has a small stack of info cards in her hands and they both hold smug smiles on their faces. The info cards have everything a caddie needs to know about who they’ll be working for that shift, and by the looks of it, today’s game will have a good match up.
“I’m going to be Mr. Huang’s son’s caddie. Don’t even fight me on this, you know I’ll win.” Kara states boldly as the two girls stop in front of you, snatching an info card out of Mina’s hand when she holds them up like she’s playing a card game, flashing the photos and names on the cards at you.
“I call dibs on Mr. Lee’s son.” Mina hums, not even bothering to keep up the act that they just want to be good caddies. “You two can have the old men.” She smiles tightly, shoving the other two info cards into Lia’s grasp and turning on her heel to walk away with Kara.
Considering you don’t even know what they’re talking about, you have no right to be mad at them. There is more confusion clouding your mind than anger at their rudeness. However, Lia does not share the same sentiment.
“I’ll shove these info cards up their-” Lia fumes, her volume rising as the sentence went on, and you quickly pulled her out of ear shot, around a corner by the bathrooms. “-stuck up two faced asses!”
“Lia…” You mutter, her wording making you shake your head at how unstable her temper is, “They’ve been working here for a lot longer than we have, just let them have those clients. Either way, what’s it to you?”
“What’s it to me? ___, they’re talking about Lee Jeno and Huang Renjun. I know I told you about them before.” Lia states like she expects you to have those two names tattooed on the front lobe of your brain already.
“I think I remember them…. They go to our University, right?” You try to regurgitate your friend’s rambles from months ago out of your head.
“Yeah, business department.” She sighs dreamily, as if the business department is the sexiest thing on campus. “This might be our only chance to shoot our shot.” You can’t help but grimace a bit.
“It can be your chance to shoot your shot. Leave me out of this.” You randomly grab an info card out of Lia’s hands, turning it around to see Mr. Huang Lijun’s photo staring back at you. You send Lia one last look, walking around her to go change in the dressing rooms.
“Aw, you’re no fun.” You hear her whine, her footsteps echo through the hallway as she comes up behind you. She almost knocks you into the wall from how forcefully she grabs onto your arm and swings it back and forth like you’re two little kids on your way to the playground.
“Maybe we can shoot our shot at the old men?” You and Lia stop walking, turning to face each other for a moment of silence. You blink at each other as if you’re both considering it, before erupting into laughter at the ridiculous thought and continue walking down the hallway.
You and Lia constantly joke around about finding rich sugar daddies at work to pay for your college tuition, but both of you know you’ll never actually commit to the idea fully. Neither of you will admit it, but you both know you don’t have the guts to do something like that.
By the time you, Lia, and your other coworkers change into uniform and gather your supplies for the Lee vs. Huang game, it’s already 10am. The air is crisp and cool, the signs of fall creep along your skin and taint the deep green trees in light oranges and yellows.
Despite the chill, you and your coworkers still wear skirts, long sleeve v-necks, and puffy vests; the only thing keeping your feet warm is a pair of short white socks and tennis shoes. You don’t mind the chill knowing that once the game starts you’ll be moving around enough to get warm. You stop thinking about your cold toes as soon as the door of the country club opens and the Lees and Huangs walk out.
The first time you lay eyes on Huang Renjun, you think your heart might stop.
You know it’s him because he walks close to his father as they make their way to where you’re standing by the golf carts. He has obviously dyed blonde color, his dark roots proof of that; it’s neatly gelled back in an effortless way with the light wind blowing a few of the locks gently as if an angel is personally moving them for him. His white jacket and black pants are slim and look like they cost more than all of your college textbooks this semester. He walks with his head high, his pretty, pink lips set in a straight line, and his almond eyes gentle.
Okay, so... maybe you understand the hype now.
“Good evening, ladies.” Mr. Lee announces, looking at you and your coworkers. You all politely introduce yourself and state who you’ll be caddying for.
Huang Lijun isn’t as tall as his son, but he looks to be more lively than Renjun, even at his age. He has a permanent smile on his lips and you can feel a friendly demeanor radiating from him when you approach.
“Good Morning, sir. Let me take those off of your hands.” You politely grab the bag of clubs from him, feeling shy as his gaze doesn’t leave your face the entire time.
“You’re new here, right? I feel like I would remember you if I saw you before.” You’re surprised when he suddenly pinches your cheek, and he laughs at your shocked face. An unsettled feeling plants itself at the bottom of your stomach at the unwarranted touch.
“I’ve only been working here for a month, sir.”
“I think I’ll be coming around here more often, then.” He winks at you and turns to go sit in the front seat of the golf cart. You can’t help but let the feeling at the bottom of your stomach grow at how the older man looks at you. You definitely misjudged his “friendly” demeanor. Your eyes can’t help but glance at Renjun, who’s standing a few feet away from the whole interaction. He gives you a blank stare before turning and following his father.
In the past few weeks, you had gotten many lustful smiles and lewd gazes at your bare legs, but also many dollars in tips just in one morning by letting those smiles and gazes happen. The need to make ends meet justifies it all, and the cash you earn at the end of every shift only fuels this need.
The ride from the club’s main building to the first hole is short, so you quickly recompose yourself. You still have a job to do— a job you’re being paid lots of money for. You believe in your strong will to put up with whatever antics Mr. Huang pulls for the next few hours. Upon arrival at the first hole, you pull the bag of golf clubs out of the cart and follow in Mr. Huang’s quick footsteps, suddenly feeling sweaty from the exercise you’re getting by carrying these heavy clubs. When your group reaches the first hole, you set the bag down on the ground and press your hand over your face, but Mr. Huang’s voice startles you.
“Woah, there.” You jump and face him. “Those clubs cost more than my car, and unlike my car, they don’t deserve to be on the ground, darling.”
“Yes, sir. I apologize.” You smile shyly and pick up the clubs from the ground, your shoulders already straining to keep them up. ‘They weigh as much as a car,’ you huff.
This is going to be a long game.
“You kids can clean the carts today,” Mina suddenly throws a keychain at Lia’s face, she barely catches it before it hits her, “I have plans.”
“Me, too.” Kara quickly says, following after Mina as they both walk away. The game ended right at lunchtime (the Lees won) and now you and your coworkers are back at the club. It’s supposed to be everyone’s job to clean the golf carts after they’ve been used, but it looks like today it’ll just be you and Lia… Maybe.
“___, please. I’m going to be late to the cafe, my boss there is already mad at me.” Lia turns to you and begs with her hands clasped in front of her chest, eyes pleading and feet bouncing. You sigh; you’re hungry and your muscles are sore, and all you want to do is go home as quickly as you can. Still, you roll your eyes and take the golf cart keys from her, making her face crack open into a smile as she hugs you quickly.
“I’ll bring you coffee on Monday!” She screams at you as she practically runs away, leaving you with two golf carts to clean. You sluggishly begin, crawling into the cart the Huangs were sitting in when you find a small notebook laying on one of the seats. Picking it up to examine it, you find out it’s your university’s yearly planner, a book that everyone gets at the beginning of every academic year. Along the binder reads “Huang Renjun” and your eyes widen, immediately looking up to glance at the direction that Renjun walked off to a while ago.
Your legs move quickly through the corridors of the club, moving past changing rooms, saunas, and bathrooms, the planner tightly clutched in your hand. Your head is on a swivel and your lower lip is stuck between your teeth, until you hear a door open and slam shut behind you, making you turn your head to catch Renjun walking out of a changing room.
“Mr. Huang!” You call out.. Renjun freezes at the name, spinning on his heel to see you walking towards him.
“Sorry to disturb you, but you left your planner on the golf cart.” You hold it out for him, but he doesn’t take it.
“How do you know it’s a planner? Did you look through it?” You blink at him, stunned, and then glance down at the notebook. You’re surprised by the sudden questions and at the same time annoyed that Renjun accused you of snooping through his things so quickly. The image you had of him earlier, graceful, classy, and attractive, slips out of your mind as he stares down at you. However, this is the first time he’s directly talking to you, and you can’t help the spark that ignites in your belly from the roughness in his voice. It’s higher-pitched, but unpolished and jagged as he speaks with you.
“No. I go to the same University. I have the same one.” You explain. Renjun’s stare turns into shock.
“Really? Which department?”
“Fine Arts. I study Studio Art.” At first you think that you’re seeing things, but after blinking, you can guarantee that Renjun has jealousy painted on his face. It’s so sour that he looks away, trying to preoccupy his hands by fiddling with his bag. “So, are you going to take this, or…?”
“Yeah,” The bitterness drips from his tone, but you have a feeling it’s not directed at you, “Thank you for returning it.” He finally accepts it and turns to his bag, taking out his wallet. The cards inside look thick and heavy; memberships to places you’ll never step foot in and credit cards with limits you could never even imagine. Your pride tells you that you don’t need anything he could give you, so you silently turn around and walk away.
Renjun shuffles through some crisp 10’s and 20’s, but when he looks up to give you the tip, you’re already down the hallway and halfway out the door. You have golf carts to clean.
The next time you see Renjun is a week after the last game. The chilly weather remains, along with the useless uniform you have to wear, but this time around you’re not Mr. Huang’s caddie, you’re Renjun’s.
Kara walks next to you with Mr. Huang’s heavy golf clubs, her lips straight and head turned away from you to show her annoyance at how the caddie match up situation went this week. You’re sure to get an earful about this for at least the next few days, but you kind of like this revenge that fate dealt Kara. Either way, it’s not like there’s anything you can do about the match up. Renjun requested you to be his caddie this week, and you weren’t going to risk your bosses being angry with you by denying the request.
“Driver.” Renjun’s voice pulls you into the game. You pull out the correct golf club and put it into his awaiting hand, your fingertips brushing with his. “Aren’t you cold?” The words shock you, considering they’re the first words Renjun spoke to you today other than commands for golf clubs.
“I-I’m fine, Mr. Huang.” You respond promptly.
“Don’t call me that.” His tone is icy, and he quickly realizes how unnecessary it is to bite at you like that, “Just call me Renjun.” His father walks back from his shot, looking very smug. Renjun’s face is calm as he trades spots with his father and prepares for his first swing of the day, correcting his posture and loosening his limbs.
You remember the first time you saw him, how elegant and poised he looked. Your cold hands break into a sweat as your chest heats up from the quick beating of your heart. Renjun has only been icy and accusing towards you so far, yet you still feel warm while thinking about him. There has to be something wrong with you.
“Doesn’t my son look like he knows what he’s doing?” Mr. Huang asks from beside you, a small, unnerving smile on his lips.
“Yes, sir.” You reply back with your own, more innocent, smile.
“I taught him everything he knows about golf…. And women.” Mr. Huang leans into you, turning his chest to face you so that his breath is hitting your cheek. You can’t help but swallow to relieve your dry and cold throat, keeping your eyes forward as Renjun swings his club back and forth a bit in preparation.
“Yes, sir.” The only thought on your mind is to stop this man from stepping closer.
“Is that the only thing you can say?”
Renjun swings his arm back, breathing in as he keeps his eyes on the small white ball and his hopes in the green before him. Mr. Huang’s right hand is warm on your waist, but you would give anything to freeze right now.
A sharp crack ripples through the air as Renjun hits the golf ball and sends it flying into the golf course. His eyes are not where the ball lands, but instead on where his father touches you.
Renjun’s mom died when he was not even three days old.
He never got to meet her— to lay on her chest and hold her finger with his whole hand. He’ll never know what advice she would’ve given him when he got his first girlfriend, and he’ll never know how she would’ve reacted to him crashing his first car when he was 17. He only knows that his mom would’ve been there for him through all of that, unlike his father, who was not.
Renjun has had “mothers” through his life; three, to be exact. The first was when he was 5 years old, and she quickly asked for a divorce after Renjun’s dad went on a three month business trip and she didn’t hear from him the whole time. The second “mother” was a bit more mature than the first and with a lot more time on her hands. She wanted to shape 9 year old Renjun into a perfect student, which was something Renjun’s father appreciated, but still divorced her for “being too strong-headed.” Renjun only met his third mother twice when he was 13: once at the wedding and the second time at her funeral. He didn’t ask any questions, he wasn’t very interested in the first place.
These were the type of people Renjun spent his life around, but they really weren’t his mothers. The only similarity he had with those women was his father, and he treated them as poorly as he treated Renjun. That’s why when Renjun looks at you, cowering away from the very man who is his only link to family, he feels sick.
When is his dad going to stop being a fucking predator? How young does he want his next conquest to be? Will Renjun’s next mom be the same age as him? Something swirls in the pit of his stomach when he watches his father and it takes a moment for him to figure out what it is: jealousy. He’s not sure why he’s feeling jealous over someone he just met last week, but the feeling engulfs his whole chest and it burns him to his spot.
Renjun doesn’t even notice that he swung his golf club or that the golf ball went somewhere far into the green, probably an overshot. He only sees you, afraid of the man touching you but not stepping away. Why aren’t you stepping away?
“Nice job, Renjun.” His best friend, Jeno, claps a hand on his back as he steps up, hitting Renjun back into reality and forcing him to walk towards you. As Renjun approaches, his father slyly takes his hand away, and Renjun notices how you let out a relieved sigh. Giving you back his driver, Renjun strategically stands between you and his father, pretending to watch Jeno swing.
“Good job… Renjun.” You whisper, unsure about calling him by his first name so informally.
“Thank you.” Renjun sends a side glance to his father to see the displeased look on his face. “How was that, Dad?” Renjun hopes that maybe he can remind his father of why he’s here (to win against the Lees this week, not to feel up a girl 30 years younger than him) but in this moment, his father is acting like a 5 year old in the middle of a silent tantrum, not a 50 year old who runs the most successful construction company in the country.
“I’ve taught you better than that.” Renjun is sure they’re not talking about golf anymore, the authoritative tone in his father’s voice sends a lightning bolt of surprise and slight fear down Renjun’s back. He hates how he gets scared, he hates how his father can control him. The fury churns in the pit of his stomach as he accepts his father’s words with a bow of his head.
One day, Renjun swears he won’t submit anymore.
After the game ended with the Lees winning once again, you, Lia, and your other coworkers convene at the golf carts after the clients leave to change inside the club.
“You ladies know the drill.” Kara throws both sets of golf cart keys at you before walking off with Mina. You push Lia towards the entrance of the building before she even has a chance to turn around and open her mouth.
“You should get to the cafe before your boss throws another fit.” Lia turns back to face you, her jaw slightly slack and her eyes shining.
“You’re seriously the best. I love you.”
“Yeah, yeah, just give me a few extra shots in my coffee on Monday.” Lia laughs at that, grabbing your face between her two small, manicured hands and kissing you on each cheek before hopping off inside. You can’t help but be amused at her antics, turning to the golf carts in front of you to start cleaning.
“They make you clean the carts by yourself?” The voice startles you, not because you weren’t expecting it but because it’s Renjun’s. You turn your head over your shoulder, he’s standing just a few feet away still in his golfing gear from earlier.
“Uh, not usually, no. But my coworkers haven’t been happy with me lately.” You explain, fully turning to him and crossing your arms over your chest to tuck your cold hands into your sides.
“The ones who have been working here for a while?” You nod as an answer, and Renjun nods back in understanding, shoving his hands in his pants pockets. “They’ve been trying to get with me and my best friend for a while...” Renjun trails off when he sees your eyebrows raise at the comment, “... But that’s not what I came here to talk about.”
“Oh? What are you here for?” The conversation has gotten too informal for a worker and their client to be having, but you kind of like talking to Renjun in this casual setting.
“I realized that the past few times we’ve talked I’ve been such a dick.” He laughs lightly as he remembers, “I wanted to apologize for that. I wasn’t in a good mood last week and this morning, and I ended up pushing it on you.”
Renjun feels lots of emotions when it comes to you, despite only having this one proper conversation with you. He feels envy towards you for being able to study something that he desperately wants to. He feels guilt when he remembers how quickly he made you into a thief when you were only trying to return his belongings, and he feels so many other secondary and tertiary emotions in between. His head is full when he looks at you. He finally feels like he’s thinking about something, not just doing the same day to day motions in a constant cycle of ‘when will this end?’
“You’re apologizing?” You ask, stunned when he nods his head in confirmation. Sincere apologies are important to you. You believe there are not enough of them in this world anymore, and his gentle almond eyes are too wholehearted and warm for you in this cold weather. Your heart feels full looking at him, and you curse at yourself in your head for being swayed like this.
“I also have a question… You mentioned you’re majoring in Studio Art and I was wondering if, maybe, you could let me into one of the studios after a class this week? I’ve been needing a quiet place to work since my house has been busy lately.” One of the hands that was in Renjun’s pocket moves to matte down his sideburns while he glances at his shoes. “Was that too forward? Sorry, I just know that you can’t get into a studio without a passcode and you’re the only person I know who’s in Studio Art.” Renjun explains after you stare for a while, blinking at him.
“You’re an artist?” You finally ask, Renjun giving you a weak ‘yeah’ in response. A part of you wants to say no, that it’ll be weird to do something like this for him when you’ve only known him for less than 2 weeks and up until this point, you’ve only been in a worker-client relationship. However, you’re curious about what he’s like outside of this setting, especially what he’s like when his father has no possibility of appearing, since that seems to be the factor that turns his mood up or down.
“Sure. Come by studio 3 after 6pm on Wednesday and I’ll let you in, but... I heard Mr. Lee already scheduled a game for next weekend?” Renjun nods, “Then in return, you can win that game. It’s embarrassing always being on the losing team.” You smile playfully at the end to let him know you’re only joking.
“Deal.” Renjun sends a smile back of the same caliber, holding out a hand to shake with yours. If you thought you were affected by Renjun’s nice presence, his hand in yours sends you into another realm. His touch is warm from staying indoors and from keeping his hands in his pockets, and they contrast to your cold skin. He sucks in a breath through his teeth when your hands connect, turning your hand in his grip to look at your knuckles. “Are you sure you’re not cold? Your hands are freezing.”
“I’ll be okay. I just don’t have any good gloves to wear while working.” He huffs, small traces of white smoke leaves his mouth as he digs through his pockets.
“Wear these.” He replaces his hand in yours with a pair of his own gloves, “Your hands are precious, they shouldn’t be freezing.” Before Renjun can get embarrassed by his own words, he shoves his hands back into his pockets and turns on his heel, walking away, “I’ll see you on Wednesday!”
A knock on the studio doors shakes you away from staring at your painting, making you turn to look at who it is. Renjun peaks through the small window and waves when you make eye contact. You get up to open the door, almost forgetting that today is the day you agreed to let Renjun into your studio.
… Okay, that’s a lie. You definitely remembered that you’re supposed to meet Renjun, but you keep trying to convince yourself that you’re not excited about seeing him outside of that stuffy country club.
“Hey, sorry if I startled you.” Is the first thing he says when you open the door. He’s dressed in slacks, a dress shirt with a sweater over it, and a long coat over that. His nose and cheeks are slightly red from the rough wind outside and his supplies are clutched to his chest.
“Oh, you’re fine. I was just deep in thought.” Something about the studio makes both of you speak in hushed tones. No one else is here, but you feel the need to maintain the peace and quiet the room naturally holds. You and Renjun make your way to where you’re set up, he puts his things down on an easel to your left and takes off his coat, watching you from his peripheral vision.
Those uniforms they make you wear at work are just for show, Renjun knows that well, but that doesn’t stop him from appreciating you in the tight vest and little skirt. However right now, he likes your laid back look consisting of loose jeans and a layered shirt, he thinks it matches you.
“I was going to leave when you got here, but I think I’ll just finish this and head out.” You comment, aimlessly waving at your project.
“Please, stay as long as you need to. This is your studio, I don’t want to kick you out.” He laughs and licks his bottom lip. It’s breathtaking how innocent and nice his smile looks on his face. His eyes scrunch together to form laugh lines and his cheeks rise, he truly looks pretty when he smiles. You think this is the first time you’ve seen him like this.
You mumble back with a mixture of words that probably didn’t make sense and turn back to your work, leaving the room to continue with its peacefulness and quiet. However, Renjun’s presence next to you is too big to ignore. There are so many things you want to know about him and you have no excuse as to why you’re so curious.
“How about a game while we work?” You suggest.
“Sure… How about 20 questions?” It’s like he read your mind, so you smile and nod at his idea.
“You can go first.” You suggest.
“Okay, uh… Why do you work at a golf course if you’re majoring in Studio Art? Shouldn’t you be working at a, I don’t know, museum?” The question catches you off guard and Renjun notices how you stop painting, your brush and your hand floating in the air as you think, “Oh, sorry, is that too personal?”
“No, no… It’s just, normally, the first question people ask in a game of 20 questions is something like ‘what’s your favorite color’ or ‘what’s your sign’.” Renjun lets out a choked and embarrassed laugh, ducking his head down to look away from you. You can tell he’s about to change his question, so you quickly go back to painting and speak before he can.
“I did apply to work at several museums. I didn’t get any jobs, so I had to look elsewhere and Augusta was hiring. I know it’s not very fitting, but it makes good money and rich people know my name, even if it’s for just a few hours.” Renjun nods at your answer as if he could ever understand the idea of being poor, but the insight into your decision brings a fact to light that Renjun wasn’t 100% aware of before: you’re not like him, you need money.
“Don’t you hate the way people look at you there?” The words tumble out of Renjun’s lips faster than he can process the weight they carry. He turns to face you with guilt pooling in his eyes and his mouth opening and closing to find some words to correct the situation.
“No, I don’t like it.” You surprise him with your quick response, “But people like you don’t understand what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck, to have to worry about how to pay the bills every month for years on end, always on your toes about money. I bet you think I’m cheap and—”
“No.” Renjun cuts you off promptly before you can continue, “Don’t make me into a jerk. I’m not like that. But the fact that that is the first thing you thought of worries me.” Your eyes widen at that, prompting him to elaborate. “Doesn’t that mean that’s how you think of yourself? Maybe not on the outside, but subconsciously. Sure, I won’t ever be able to understand how you live, but I wish you would not look at yourself as cheap and think of yourself as… beautiful.” Renjun lets the last words linger on his tongue, saying it quietly as if to not startle you.
You stare at him, your paintbrush resting in your hand and your back slouched as you watch him watch you. This is not the type of conversation you thought you’d be having with Renjun tonight, but you have to admit he makes a point. Eventually, you turn to your painting and stare at it some more, making Renjun turn and continue his own work.
“Ah, I asked two questions in a row.” He suddenly breaks the tense atmosphere, making you sigh as you remember you’re just playing a game, “You can ask two questions.”
He allows and relaxes when he sees you go back to painting.
“If you like to draw, why are you a business major?” Now it’s Renjun’s turn to freeze. Maybe if he did ask what your favorite color was he wouldn’t have had to endure this question from you, but he feels like he should answer it since it’s of equal weight to the one he asked you.
“It wasn’t my choice. I will most likely take my father’s place in his company and I need to at least know the basics before that happens.” You nod slowly. He looks so calm when he’s focused on drawing, but it’s not the same calm that you see on his face when he’s playing golf. You turn away before you get caught staring.
“Is that why your mood always changes when your dad is around?”
“Is it that obvious…” He trails off and you nod, “I can’t believe I’m about to say this out loud, but… It’s like everytime I’m around him, or at his office, or at home, my mind goes blank. I don’t feel like talking or thinking at all.” As he speaks, he sets down his utensils and turns to you, making continuous eye contact as he explains. You find yourself feeling comfortable at how easily he’s talking to you about such a deep subject.
“It sounds like… you’re angry.” You turned to face him now too, your paintbrush settled onto your canvas and your full attention on him, “My dad is like that. He gets so angry sometimes that he’s calm. No yelling or fighting, just silence. That’s how I know I messed up when he gets like that.” You nod, remembering all the times he’s been calmly mad at you.
“I don’t know… It’s confusing to me.” He straightens his back and stares at your foot as it moves around aimlessly. “What do I do?” He asks into the air, as if his pencil would suddenly start talking to him like a therapist.
“Just do what makes you happy.” Renjun’s glance over at you makes a smile pull at your lips, “I know it’s easier said than done. But you already know what it is that’ll make you happy, and that’s half of the battle. Why bottle it up?”
Renjun doesn’t know how he’ll ever get the courage to tell his father these things, but the way you’re looking at him as if he can do anything, he starts to feel tingles of confidence trickle into him.
“Oh, and why did you pick me to be your caddie this past weekend?”
“Well…” Renjun plays with his pencil. What is he supposed to say? He doesn’t want you to carry around his father’s heavy golf clubs? He doesn’t like the way his father touches you and gets jealous over it for some unknown reason? Yeah, he’s not going to say.
“Just because… I wanted you next to me.” The way he says it makes it sound so simple and true, but your heart drops to your stomach and springs back up going at 100 miles per hour. You can barely stop your hand from shaking as you pick up your brush, and it’s almost like you can’t see in front of you from the thrill of his words.
“Hey,” Renjun suddenly drops his pencil and turns to you, looking a bit confused and slightly upset, “Didn’t you ask three questions?”
“We’re letting the Lees win again today.” Renjun is in the middle of pulling up the zipper of his jacket when his father drops the news. Renjun’s footsteps stutter slightly at his father’s words and he stops walking next to the older man.
“Again?” He asks as he already thinks up an apology to tell you later when he loses.
“Yes, I need Mr. Lee to be happy when I bring up the new contract to him later in the sauna.” Renjun sighs and continues to walk next to his father. It’s the next weekend, and the third Lee vs. Huang game is starting in just a few minutes.
Renjun won’t lie, purposefully losing to his best friend and his dad every week is not the greatest stroke to Renjun’s ego, especially since Jeno won’t let it down around his other friends.
“Oh, I’ve been meaning to ask you,” Lijun swivels on his heel to look at his son, “Have you been requesting for ___ to be your caddie?”
The questions stuns Renjun, making it hard to answer so his father takes it as a yes.
“Well stop it. Dad wants to have some fun.” He claps a hand on Renjun’s back and smiles. In the past, Renjun would’ve just rolled his eyes and let his father do whatever he wants, but this time his blood boils. He feels true anger when his father struts away with the intentions of doing whatever he wants to someone Renjun cares about. He can barely move his feet after the old man, his mind cloudy as everyone makes it to the golf carts.
“Let’s have a good game today, Mr. Huang, don’t make it too easy to beat you.” Mr. Lee jokes around and the two old men laugh as they settle into their own golf carts. Renjun walks up to his cart and you wave to him, the white gloves he gave you last week snugly on your hands. Renjun thinks his anger is what spurs him into doing what he does next.
He steps close to you, leaning into your ear and wrapping his hand around your covered ones with his thumb rubbing on your exposed wrist, “Keep these on for me, babe. I don’t want you to be cold.”
The amount of jaws that drops after Renjun’s words makes him bite down his smirk and slide into the front seat of the golf cart, pretending to not see the daggers his father is throwing at him with his eyes.
Your heart beats so quickly and loudly you’re sure Kara can hear it next to you if she wasn’t busy huffing about what Renjun just did. Sitting in the back seat of the golf cart, you watch the back of Renjun’s head on the way to the first hole. What got into Renjun? Why did he all of a sudden call you ‘babe’ and get so close? Not that you’re opposed to it, you’re just shocked.
The game begins once you reach the first hole, and the Huang’s put up a good fight throughout the entire game, keeping the Lees on their toes and the score sheet even. Everytime Renjun comes back from a shot, you smile at him and tell him good job, which earns you a pat on the back from him that warms you up from the inside out.
Renjun can tell his father is getting more and more annoyed with him; how Renjun is keeping you as far from his father as he possibly can, the gentle touches on your waist that you welcome wholeheartedly compared to the ones Mr. Huang would lay on you before. He likes how angry his father gets, especially knowing that he can’t do anything about it right now. Not to mention, you seem to be enjoying Renjun’s attention, which just adds to his confidence.
Now, your group arrives at the last hole of the game. The Lees step up and swing, setting their total score to 357. All Renjun and his father have to do is move the ball around a bit more to get their score to be higher and the Lees will win the game. Mr. Huang is up first, acting clumsy so that the ball doesn’t make it into the hole and brings the game to Renjun.
As he sets up his posture, his hands suddenly go stiff. This shot is so easy to make, he has made this exact hole several times. He breathes in and out deeply, deciding on if he should throw the game like his father said he should, or give his one last ‘fuck you’ to his Dad.
He glances at you and makes eye contact; you nod your head and smile a bit as if to say ‘go ahead, we all know you can do this.’ Renjun then grips his golf club and swings it back to effortlessly hit the golf ball, rolling it along the green and perfectly into the hole.
You and the other caddies clap for the perfectly executed shot and Jeno and his father come up to Renjun to shake hands. They don’t look upset, instead they look pretty happy for Renjun. However, Renjun’s father is deathly silent, not even congratulating Renjun on his win. Renjun wasn’t expecting a whole ceremony for him, but it does feel nice to put his father down a peg or two today, and that’s the thought that fills Renjun’s head as everyone rides back to the country club.
While getting out of the golf cart, Renjun attempts to turn back to you but is promptly pulled away by the back of his jacket by his father. Renjun yelps and pulls away, but that doesn’t stop Lijun from grabbing onto his son’s arm instead and pulling him inside.
“What was that? I specifically told you to lose the game and you did the exact opposite. How am I supposed to talk to Mr. Lee now?” Renjun’s father fumes, his low voice belting out into the corridor and making some of the passing staff turn their heads.
“That’s not my problem.” Renjun shrugs and his father stops shaking, stepping closer to his son.
“Excuse me?” He asks with menace dripping from his tongue.
“I said, that’s not my problem.” Renjun is fired up. He doesn’t see a way out of this now, no way his behavior is being excused, so might as well go all in.
“You did it for that caddie, ___, right?” His father squints his eyes and turns his head slightly. When Renjun doesn’t answer, Lijun laughs in his face, “It looks like I’m right.”
“What?” Renjun asks dumbly.
“It’s okay. You’re just a boy and you can make some mistakes over a girl, we’ve all been there once or twice.” Lijun fixes Renjun’s jacket and pats his shoulder, his angry disposition turning passive. “Besides, you can’t do much for that girl anyway. Is a ball in a hole really all she deserves?”
“I won the game because I could. I won it because that’s what I wanted.” Renjun states, his blood beginning to boil once again when his father says he doesn’t deserve you. What is he thinking? Does he actually think he has a chance with you? He can keep dreaming.
“We can’t always do whatever we want. There are consequences we have to face for doing whatever we want. Are you ready to face the consequences?” At the question, Renjun is reminded about the words you told him Wednesday night.
‘Just do what makes you happy,’ Those simple words are so hard to turn into reality. Renjun wants to be happy so bad. He wants to be away from this man and he wants to be closer to you. The consequences? Sure, he’ll deal with it all if it means he can stop living in the personal hell his father set up for him. Renjun pushes his father away a bit and steps out of the trap his father pushed him into, making Lijun’s eyes widen.
“Yeah, I’m ready.” Renjun says and turns around, walking back towards the exit of the building.
“Hey, where are you going?” His father shouts after him.
“To do the thing that I want to do the most.” He yells back and walks around the corner, out of sight from his father. Renjun practically runs through the hallways to get back outside and run to you, but you surprise him by greeting him by the saunas. He stops in his steps and you smile as you walk up to him.
“Hey, I just wanted to tell you that you did really well today. I know I said I wanted you to win last week, but I didn’t think you’d actually do it.” You laugh.
“Thanks.” Renjun simply says, afraid of what else could come out if he keeps talking.
“Oh, I also want to give you these back.” You dig out Renjun’s gloves from your pocket, holding them out. This is it. This is the moment Renjun will start to do whatever makes him happy, whatever he wants.
And what he wants right now is you.
He quickly takes the gloves and then tightly grips the wrist of your outstretched hand, leading you down the hallway and around some corner. He hears you exclaim a small ‘woah’ but you let him guide you into a sauna, the door closing tightly behind both of you.
There’s no one else in the room, just the stuffy steam that floats in the small space between you two. Renjun has a tight grip on the gloves you gave back to him and his other hand runs through his hair and messes up the perfect form it held.
“Tell me to stop.” He demands, looking straight into your eyes.
“What?”
“Tell me to stop right now.” He takes a step forward, his eyes full to the brim with lust and his hands shaking with how much he’s holding himself together. You’ve barely been in the room for a minute, but your clothes are already sticking to you from the intense heat.
“I don’t understand,” You reply back as he keeps moving toward you. You take small steps back in return, “I don’t know what I’m stopping you from.” Half of you is playing dumb right now; you know what Renjun wants from you just by the look in his eyes. The other half just wants to hear him say it himself
“I’ll fuck you the way you deserve. Right here, right now.” Renjun’s voice is too angelic to say such nasty words, but he growls them out like he’s a tainted angel. You’re pressed against the wooden wall of the sauna now, Renjun just a step away. You lean into him slightly and rip the gloves out of his hand to throw them to the side.
“Do it.”
It’s all the permission Renjun needs to feverishly connect his lips to yours.
The action is so sudden, you don’t remember how Renjun got close to you so quickly. Despite his forcefulness before, his lips melt into you like chocolate melting over a fire, so hot and delicious that you just want more. His hands hold the sides of your face, pushing back your hair and his body pushing you back into the wall.
He sucks on your bottom lip, softly biting afterwards and making you let out a whimper, and then a moan when his thigh pushes between your legs and further presses you against the wall. Amidst the kissing, you find the zipper of his expensive jacket, unzip it, and pull the piece of clothing off. Afterwards, you pull his shirt off and break the kiss while you’re at it.
“I’ve been thinking about you in this skirt since….” Renjun hums at the thought, his hand sliding up your bare thighs and under your skirt, then he grips your ass and brings your core down onto his thigh, the friction enough to have you letting out a strangled moan.
“Since the day I first saw you.” He finally whispers and connects your lips once again. His hand on your ass doesn’t move, his other hand is placed on your waist as he helps you ride the rough material of his pants. Renjun can only watch your reactions; the way your head lolls back into the wall and your eyes screw shut, holding onto Renjun’s shoulders tight enough he’s sure there will be marks afterwards.
“Fuck— Renjun, don’t stop, please.” He’s mesmerized, absolutely addicted to how you look and sound right now, and it’s all because of him. The thought spurs him along, he removes your jacket and you blindly help him in removing your top and bra. You must look like a mess right now, especially since you’re coming close to your climax just by Renjun’s touch and his thigh. Not to mention the sweat dripping down both of you, a glistening sheen coating your skin that makes Renjun let out a low growl before he leans down and takes one of your nipples in his mouth.
He sucks and swirls his tongue, and you can’t help but moan his name again, digging your fingers into his blonde hair and tugging. Renjun moves from your chest downward, not letting an inch of your stomach and hips go past him without a kiss and a nibble, leaving you breathing heavily. He makes his way down to his knees and folds your skirt up, glancing at you from his position.
“You don’t wear anything under here except your panties?” You nod, your head stuttering as Renjun applies pressure with his thumb over your slick hole, a wet spot already there to greet him.
“You’re so fucking dirty, baby.” He groans and leans in to swipe his tongue over your center making you shake as a response. He slides your underwear down and throws it somewhere to the side, catching the sigh of your arousal dripping down your thigh. His intense stare makes you shake him, embarrassment crawling over you at how he’s not reacting.
“Are you shy?” You whine, not really answering his question. “You don’t need to be. You’re beautiful.” The softness from his voice contradicts his more dominating tone from before, but you don’t have time to think about it before he dives in. You sigh in content when the pressure in between your hips caused by Renjun turns into pure pleasure. His tongue laps at your essence and his lips suck on your clit, you can tell he’s trying to find what exactly will make you tick.
When Renjun slides a finger into your hole unexpectedly, you jump and whimper a bit but the feeling of him sliding in and out along with his tongue circling and sucking on your clit makes a knot form in the pit of your stomach, tightening up your muscles and making your eyes roll back.
“Right there. Oh my god, right there…” You keep repeating, praying that Renjun treats you good and let’s you come. He adds another finger and you gasp, starting to move your hips in rhythm to his hand, holding onto his shoulders for more stability. He glances up at you, watching your eyes screw shut and your tits bounce as you use his hand to get yourself off. Renjun hums against you, and you can almost feel the ecstasy of coming undone, until Renjun pulls away. You groan, feeling like crying when your orgasm fades.
“Hey..” You whine, pouting when Renjun stands back up and licks your juices off of his lips. He has some on his chin and you bring your hand up to wipe it away, Renjun stopping your hand and kissing the wetness away, then kissing up your arm and to your shoulder, up your neck and to your ear. He tugs at your earlobe, licking the skin under it and biting some more, his hands sliding up your waist at playing with your nipples, pinching a little to get whimpers out of you and making your hips buck up, ready to continue where Renjun left you at.
That’s when you feel the hardness in his pants; it must be painful. That’s why you understand his next words, whispered into the shell of your ear between kisses: “You’re not coming until I’m in you, got it?”
You nod quickly, attaching your hands to Renjun’s zipper and button, undoing them and sliding down his pants.
“But, you’re gonna need to do something for me…” He says, helping you pull down his boxers, watching his angry, red length swing out. You gasp, feeling a bit bad that you just left Renjun like this to eat you out, but you’re sure you can make up to him now.
“What is it? I’ll do it.” Your hands run over Renjun’s sweaty shoulders, moving away some longer hair in the back of his head that’s sticking against his neck.
“You’re gonna have to yell my name. I need you to let everyone know who’s doing this to you— who’s making you feel good, okay?” Your breath gets caught in your throat as the words tumble out of his lips. He tilts his voice higher at the end of every phrase to make him sound innocent, but you’re not fooled.
“There’s people outside…” You mumble back, sending a glance at the door. You know there are several staff and customers walking along the hallways outside. What will they think if they hear you screaming Renjun’s name? Not to talk about what will happen to your job.
Those thoughts melt away when Renjun’s dick slides between your folds slowly, making you turn your gaze back to him and hold on tight as he lubricates himself over your wetness, holding onto your hips so that you don’t move and take anymore than what he’s giving you.
“That’s exactly why I want you to scream. Can you do that for me?” He asks and you nod frantically, doing almost anything to get his dick inside you. You’re not sure what’s going to happen once you step out of this room, but at least you know Renjun is going to give you the best fuck you’ve had in a while, and you know it’ll be worth it for what’s to come after all this.
“Finally…” You moan when Renjun’s length disappears into you inch by inch, going slow as to not hurt you. He sucks in a breath through his teeth as he bottoms out, picking up your thigh to hang it over his hip and wrapping his other arm around your waist to keep you close. You hold onto him, adjusting as he kisses your lips sweetly and carefully, and waits to move his throbbing cock through your velvety walls.
“Go, Renjun, move….” You whisper, and he looks at you confused.
“What was that? I didn’t hear you.” He asks, cocking his head.
“Please, move.” You say louder, but he shakes his head and purses his lips as if he still can’t understand.
“I said, fuck me, Renjun. Please, can you fuck me already?” You all but scream out, your voice almost cracking at how whiny you sound. No doubt, if someone passed by outside they would’ve heard you. The thought makes you tense up, but it feels so good to be able to yell out what you want.
“Your wish, baby.” Renjun mutters before he starts rocking into you. You both groan at the sensation, Renjun’s hips speeding up as he gains more momentum. His lips don’t leave yours, kissing you into oblivion while his dick stuffs you. He has you against the wall, his hips powering away and you don’t dare to disturb him, realizing he’s burning all of his anger away as well.
“Yes, Renjun, fuck me just like that…'' You moan loudly to spur him on, now not really caring about who’s outside or who hears you, just wanting Renjun to know you love how rough he’s going. He presses you higher up the wall and pulls your legs apart more, hitting a new angle that literally makes you scream out, tears mixing with the sweat on your face as he relentlessly pumps into you.
There are so many things going on at the same time. Your hard nipples and soft breasts rubbing against Renjun’s chest, making goosebumps rise on his arms. Your hot and sweaty bodies are basically sliding against each other. The clapping of his hips against yours no doubt attracts attention from outside along with your screams and Renjun’s grunts continuously get louder as you both get closer to the climax.
“I’m gonna come… Renjun, come in me…” You’re already fucked out, the words barely leaving your lips coherently, but Renjun understands and moves his finger down to find your clit, circling his thumb fast and steady, just like everything else he’s doing.
“C’mon come on my cock, babe. Let it out, I wanna hear it.” And just like that, you unwind and scream his name as your orgasm washes over and takes control, making you claw onto any part of Renjun that you can reach. Renjun feels your walls deliciously convulse around him and with a few more sloppy thrusts, he comes into you and fills you up, staying wrapped up in you as you both calm down.
Renjun presses small kisses wherever he feels like as your breathing settles down, his softness and the caring way he rubs at your sides and hips where he was holding so hard that you’re sure to have bruises makes you smile hazily.
“___… I don’t regret any of this.” He whispers into your skin, leaning back to look at you properly. “Do you?”
“No.” You answer truthfully, making his eyes shine and you both smile dumbly, your sticking bodies relaxing. The happy moment doesn’t last long before there’s a knock on the door to the sauna. You and Renjun stiffen up as you glance at the door, waiting for whoever it is to announce themselves.
“Renjun? Son?” Your heart drops to your stomach and you cover your mouth at the voice of Renjun’s father on the other side of the door, but when you turn to Renjun, he doesn’t seem bothered. He sends a smile at you and moves some hair from your face before answering.
“Occupied, go somewhere else. We’re busy.”

Note
Hey dear! I hope that you have a good time! I want to make a request, but please delete it if you don't feel like doing it.
I saved that request in the notes and been waiting for you to open them 😊
For request
First fight with brother (any of your choice) and one of them (I mean MC or that brother) thinks that it's end of relationship (because never had anything serious), but they reconciled in the end. I want some heavy angst with happy ending. MC can be GN if that is OK.
If you don't mind you can do for Mammon, but feel free to choose another one if you don't feel like write for him. Or if that would be better to write as headcanons for all the brothers. That's up to you!
I haven't been doing requests for ages. Please don't hate me if there is something wrong! I've read the rules, and I hope I haven't missed anything.
Anyway, sorry for long ask. And thank you for your writings!
(I forgot to look if you did anything similar, and remembered it at the end of writing that ask. Sorry if you already did something like that!)
Hey babes ❤ I did end up doing HCs for all of them because I thought it would be cooler (or more like I know someone is gonna request separate fics for all of them if I dont and I'm saving myself that trouble lol) I still hope you like it ! ❤ also this got SUPER LONG so its under a cut
Warning: angst -> happy ending-ish
THE BROTHERS in a fight with MC and thinking that they’re over (yikes)
Lucifer:
Everyone always says Lucifer is quick to lose his cool but he’s honestly been nothing but patient with you. He may have hinted at several things he doesn’t condone and he definitely has that ‘look’, you know the disappointed dad look, but he has held back a lot so as to not ruin the beautiful relationship you have with him. Everyone snaps, though, and when he finally did, it was ugly. He did NOT call you names, but oh he didn’t. He went straight for your feelings and pointed out every mistake you ever made for as long as he’s known you. Ouch. In his defense, you weren’t nice either. The argument ended nasty and ‘I hate you’s!’ were definitely thrown around, but none of them were meant, right? Goodness, he doesn’t know. After you left, he threw himself on his bed, literally, and just stared at the ceiling. His anger slowly fled away and he began to feel… guilty. Not necessarily because of the argument itself, but because he delivered some low blows and he knows that. Are you over? Done with him? You haven’t texted or called or talked… you’ve been actively avoiding him and he doesn’t like that, but his pride is such an issue, goodness. He can’t straight up apologize, that dickhead, but he’s sending you flowers and standing in front of your door with a sad face that says it all.
“Forgive me? I made reservations at your favorite’s? We can talk over a nice dinner?”
Mammon:
Mammon is known to get mildly agitated over the silliest things, let’s be real. He’s also quick to revert to the “are you dumb?!” argument, which is never effective. But he loves you and he would do anything for you so even if you do do something that he deems ‘dumb’, he usually bites his tongue. Doesn’t mean that doesn’t get on his nerves, though, and he definitely has a short temper, although people tend to overlook that. You just managed to push his buttons today and he used the “are ya stupid?!” argument, to which you obviously defended yourself, and rightfully so. This ended in a massive screaming match and him saying “Then leave! Ain’t nobody keepin’ ya with me!” He regretted it the minute those words left his mouth and you could see his eyes grow wide in shock at his own words, but that didn’t mean you stayed. “MC!” he tried running after you immediately but you were faster and honestly, who can blame you? He fucked up, and he knows it, and he feels terrible about it. Honestly, he’s crying just at the mere thought of you taking his words seriously and he can’t… he can’t bear to lose you, you know? What’s he gonna do? You’re the light of his life, as pathetic as that may sound to some…. So he won’t let you run away. Homie will hunt you down and beg for forgiveness.
“Please, MC! Forgive me! I’m dumb, not you!!! Don’t leave me…” Don’t leave him. He will continue crying.
Leviathan:
His constant need to put himself down is frankly, quite annoying. To you anyway. But you put up with it and just reassure him that, at least to you, he’s the most amazing demon that ever existed. It’s just facts. But a person only has so much patience, right? You can’t always spend your days trying to lift him up when all he does is dig himself a bigger hole. Who has the emotional time for that? You sure don’t. “Oh my God, Levi! Shut up! I can’t take it anymore!” Followed by “See! You’re just like everyone else! Leaving me!” and then you slamming the door to his room shut. It’s frustrating and understandably so. It makes you feel awful that you can’t even make your own boyfriend feel good about himself and get at least a little bit of self confidence and it’s so, so, so very draining to have to constantly listen to that. At this point, it’s affecting your own mental health and you just… you just can’t…. But Levi can’t lose you because he knows you’re right. He has to work on himself if he wants to keep someone as amazing as you with him and that’s why he’s crawling back to you now.
“Look I… I know you’re right… I’m sorry. I promise I’ll … I’ll try. For you.”
Satan:
For being the Avatar of Wrath, you always admired Satan for his ability to keep cool. He prefers the relaxed and easy going life much more than the type of life people expect him to live, and you respect that. That doesn’t mean his constant need to one up Lucifer, through whatever means necessary, didn’t bother the hell out of you, though. You tried talking to him about it once or twice in a calm manner, but you always got the same answer “Pfft.. it’s Lucifer. Who cares?” And it never sat right with you. Just today he decided to pull a prank on the eldest and you had enough, standing in front of Lucifer and letting the bucket of cursed green slime land on you instead, to everyone’s shock. “What are you doing?!” Now that you’re thoroughly green from head to toe, you were also beyond pissed. “What am I doing?! What are YOU doing?!” But Satan matched your anger tenfold, accusing you of favoring Lucifer over him and oh! “You probably got an affair with him, too!” Which was a stupid thing on his part, but it looked like it the way you defended him. Anger doesn’t even begin to describe the emotion you felt running through you and had it not been for Lucifer, you probably would’ve physically fought Satan for such a dumb accusation. Lucifer took you to get cleaned up and lifted the course, giving you your natural skin and hair color back within a few days and plenty of scrubbing, and Satan felt like shit. You’ve always been there for him and, rationally speaking, he didn’t have a reason to doubt your loyalty to him, but he just can’t help but feel insecure beside Lucifer…. He decides to come apologize anyway, a deep blush on his face and guilt in his eyes
“I’m… sorry for accusing you. It wasn’t my right to speak out of anger and jealousy…”
Asmodeus:
How can anyone fight with the Avatar of Lust? Seriously, the guy is super easy going and he loves pretty much everyone. Not as much as himself, but almost. You on the other hand… you didn’t. Well you didn’t NOT love him or yourself, but you were just… you. You didn’t spend 4+ hours in the bathroom trying to get ready when you knew you were only going to the kitchen down the stairs. Like?? Although you never brought it up to Asmodeus, he constantly bothered you about skincare and what foods to eat and what not to eat, etc… It’s quite annoying, honestly, and at some point you just gave him a passive aggressive “Okay, whatever. Can we move on now?” To which he didn’t take lightly. He was still nice and sweet, trying to convince you that at least one of these things will make your skin glow brighter than a unicorn’s ass but you just had enough. “Can you stop?! You’re indirectly saying I’m ugly without that shit ton of product in my face and a diet that would make me starve before it helped me! If you want a skinny VS angel that barely holds onto their skeleton, get one!” It was more hurt and frustration speaking than anything, but your outburst still shocked him and he was taken aback for a moment. And then you ignored him for a week straight and as someone who thrives off of attention, especially the kind he gets from you, he can’t handle that! So he showed up in your room in sweats and a tshirt and messy hair and no product on his skin.
“You’re right… we’re all naturally beautiful…. Wow that… that really hurts to say MC but can you forgive me?”
Beelzebub:
Oh the sweet, sweet angel. He’s far from innocent and you know that. We all know that. But for this story, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. His reliance on Belphegor is just really… annoying. Belphegor this, Belphegor that. “Belphie used to…” or “Belphie said….” or “one day when Belphie and I….” Like why does everything have to include his twin? It’s so annoying and so rude when your significant other is right here !!! and planning their own future with you, Beel, thanks. It makes you feel less than and like Belphegor will always come before you. It makes you feel like shit, quite frankly, and who is to blame you? “Hey MC did I tell you what Belphie---!” “No! Shut up! I don’t care! It’s always about Belphie! The day you come to me and don’t let that name drip from your tongue is the day Jesus comes back to save me and we both know that will be never! I’m tired of always being stuck with Belphegor! We are not equals!” Granted, you shouldn’t have yelled and Beel was more than confused at your outburst, but you wouldn’t talk to him anymore after that so he left you alone. He thought you may need an hour or two, maybe a day tops, but that day turned into a full week and he even lost his appetite just because he knows you’re angry with him. It’s been a week, does that mean you’re over? His heart aches just at the thought…
“I’m sorry for bringing Belphie up… I don’t want you to feel less than, MC. You mean a lot to me and so does Belphie, but you’re not Belphie and I need to learn that…”
Belphegor:
Honestly it’s a miracle he hasn’t lost his temper at you yet. Well, he partially blames it on his own laziness because if being angry or getting upset didn’t take so much energy out of him, maybe he would’ve snapped by now lol, but he tries really hard not to because he thinks your relationship with him after everything is pretty good, considering yall kiss and snuggle and fuck on a regular basis. But anyway, that’s exactly the issue. Considering everything, you’re still holding *that* against him. It’s never direct either, which makes it worse. It’s always said in a joking manner and something like “haha look it’s just like that one time you killed me” or “Beel’s grabbing that ham like you grabbed my throat” or “I remember seeing jesus for a moment there” and it agitates him. It makes him so angry, and he finally snapped. “I know I fucked up MC! Stop holding it against me! What do you want? A medal of honor? A survivor's certificate? Maybe a pat on the back for developing some sort of Stockholm syndrome that made you come back to your abuser?!” And then he left. And you may have cried both from confusion and your own anger, he isn’t quite sure. It’s just so…. Aggravating. He can’t deal with it. He knows it was a mistake spurted by his own insecurities and survivor’s guilt which ultimately led to his hatred but please, stop holding it against him.. He can’t keep putting up with it from the person he’s grown to love. He’s the one ignoring you and he won’t budge either because he’s a stubborn ass, but maybe if you come up first…
“I’m sorry for yelling at you… I’m just so tired for it being held against me… I love you, and you should know that, and I do feel guilty about what happened.”

The New Singer-Chapter 5 (Dilf! Damon Albarn X Reader)
Pairing: Dilf ! Damon Albarn X Reader
Warnings: language, smut (P in V sex, oral female receiving), maybe a few spelling mistakes.
Summary: You've been dating Damon for 9 months now, but you've been far away from each other for a few. You're scared it might not end well, which makes you insecure, he proves you the total opposite.
Words: 2164
A/N: Hello lovely people ! Here's chapter 5, I hope you'll like it. I included a little part in French, but not worries, I translated it for you ! I'm currently working on other smuts but I don't know if one will be published on Wednesday because I have to work for my exams coming in two weeks now (ouch).
Enjoy !
(Look at him guys, isn't he handsome ?)
July 2018:
Being far from Damon was hard. We were dating since 9 months, but on these 9 months we’ve been together for only 4 months. I was scared we would end breaking up because of the distance, even if we were phoning twice a day. Especially when my label asked me to fake date another new singer so we could both gain popularity. I remember Damon and I arguing about this topic, him shouting at me and telling me he didn’t want to see me ever again.
What he couldn’t understand at first was I had no choice.
He didn’t call for a whole week, leaving me crying, eating nothing, before calling me to apologize and make it up to me. After this event I started to feel very insecure.
Since this, my public “love relationship” was no more. I loved Damon too much for this and I didn’t want to fuck anything I had with him up.
Medias were talking about me, often asking me the question “Are you seeing or dating someone since your breakup with thingummy?” And I knew I was forced to answer the fucking question. I always answered with strength “Maybe, but I like to keep my private life private.”
The label was clearly not happy of my non-submission… well, fuck them.
The first part of my tour was over, so I decided to join Damon in a French festival in Britain called “Les vieilles charrues”, without him being aware.
Happily, one of the security men recognized me and let me get backwards.
While I was looking for Damon, I jostled against someone.
-Oi, watch out! The man shouted at me -I’m so sorry si… Oh my fucking god! I screamed
I was maybe a well-known singer by now, but I was still me, and me meant the “forever fangirl”
-What? -Y-y-you’re Liam Gallagher ! I answered
Yes, he was there in the flesh, in front of me, smoking his cigarette.
-Yea thank you Y/N, I know who I am. -N-No, I mean… I’m a great fan! You’ve got so much influence on my music, actually I didn’t know you knew me. -Yer talking too much ya know? But thanks for the compliment, Rasta, I really appreciate it. I love your music by the way. He answered -Thank you. Huh…actually I was looking for Damon, did you see him? -Dermot O’Blong? -Oh yeah sorry, forgot you maybe weren’t the right man to ask… -Oi kid, Oasis vs Blur is over, I think he’s over there. He said, indicating his right with his head -Thank you, Our Kid. I answered, about to leave -Oi, wait! He said grabbing my arm -What? -Are you going to see Noel? -Huh… probably in a few days yeah, why? -Just tell this scouse schlepper I said hi please. -Huh…okay. I answered, unsure -Thank you. You can go.
I started walking again, thinking “do it yourself you wanker”, but I was wrong, and I knew that after. He was just missing his big brother and it’s sad. My relationship with my sister wasn’t really good as well, but we’ve never been to the point where they were.
I finally found someone familiar. Jamie’s wife
-Emma? -Y/N? Oh hey! How are you? -Bien merci et toi ? (Good, thank you what about you?) I answered in French -Bien aussi, merci. Does Damon know you’re here? She answered -Je te rappelle que je parle français Emma. (I remind you I’m speaking French Emma) I said chuckling -Ah oui, désolée ! (Oh yeah sorry !) -En France il faut que je pratique mon français autrement je vais le perdre. En plus tu es française, double raison. Et pour te répondre, non il ne sait pas. C’est une surprise, je vais chanter avec Gorillaz de nouveau pour quelques temps. (In France I have to practice my French or I’m going to lose it. Moreover you’re French, it’s another reason. And to answer you, no he doesn’t know. It’s a surprise, I’m going to sing with Gorillaz again for a few) -Ah je suis contente d’apprendre ça ! Laisse-moi juste prendre une bière pour Jamie et je te conduis à eux okay ? (I’m happy to know that! Let me just have a beer for Jamie and I’m taking you to them, okay?) -Okay! I answered
Once she had the fresh beer in her hand, we started walking towards the band while talking.
-Alors…Damon et toi vous êtes ensemble ? (So… You and Damon are dating?) -On peut dire ça… j’imagine qu’il l’a confié à ton mari ? (We can say that… I imagine he told your husband?) -Oui, mais ne t’inquiètes pas, c’est un secret à nous quatre. Puis je ne suis certainement pas la personne à aller répéter des secrets, ni Jamie. (Yes, but don’t worry, it’s a secret to us four. And I’m certainly not the person who will reveal secrets, nor Jamie). -Encore heureuse ! Mais je sais que je peux compter sur vous deux. (Fortunately ! But I know I can count on you two) I answered -Okay, on y est. Restes derrière moi, fais le coup à Damon du « devines qui c’est », il ne peut pas te voir, il est de dos. Je vais faire signe à Jamie de ne rien dire et de ne pas réagir. (Okay, here we go. Stay behind me, do to Damon the "guess who" thing, he can't see you, he’s from behind. I'm going to signal Jamie not to say anything and not to react.) -Niquel. (Perfect) I answered
Emma opened the door, her husband looking at her. She put her index on her mouth, showing not to tell anything nor react, just like she previously said.
He kept doing like nothing, what he understood when he saw me behind Emma.
-Here’s your beer darling. She said, handing him the plastic cup
I approached discreetly, covering Damon’s eyes with my hands.
-Guess who? I murmured in his ear
He jumped off his seat, surprised, and turned to see me.
-Y/N! He said, a smile invading his face
He came towards me and hugged me tightly, kissing my head.
-I missed you… He whispered in my ear -I missed you too. I answered the same -We have to be careful, I came with my daughter, so kisses and hand holding in private, okay? -Like we always did darling. I answered
He let go of my body
-Do you want to drink something? He asked -No, thank you, I’m okay, hope there’s a mic available for me, because I’m going to sing our duet with you! -Always!
I went to hug Jamie and the rest of the band before coming back to sit next to Damon.
-Also… I need a room where to sleep tonight, unless you’re sharing it with Missy? I murmured -No, you can come with me, and anyway, if it was the case, I would have welcomed you. We just wouldn’t have slept together in the same bed. -And I know we’re not only going to sleep… -Oh no, I’m going to show you how much I missed you. He answered winking at me
Suddenly, the door opened, and a young lady appeared: Missy, and one of her friends.
-It was so fucking good! She said -Yup, totally! Her friend answered -Ah! Here she is, my pride and joy! Damon said getting up -Oh dad, you missed something! -Was it that nice? -I’m sure you would have adored it. -Missy, let me introduce you to someone, it’s… -Oh you’re Y/N! I’ve heard so much about you! I’m so happy to finally meet you! You’re such a great artist and a great friend to my dad! She said before hugging me -I’m so happy to meet you too Missy, you are radiant! -Thank you! -Oh, I’m so happy to be with you all, knowing the awkward meeting I had before finding Emma. -Who was it? Emma asked -Liam fucking Gallagher. -Oh geez! Missy said -He’s actually kinda cool. -Liam is just… being Liam. Damon said -He called you with the nickname he gave you on Twitter. -Dermot O’Blong? Damon asked -Yup. -Oh you know, he hasn’t changed at all. He already did it in the nineties. -He also asked me to tell something to Noel but I’m afraid he could get angry. -He won’t. He’s rather calm. -Well anyway, I met another of my favourite singers, even though he always had this weird position to sing. That’s his signature.
*
Back at the hotel, Missy and her friend went to their room, and I went in Damon’s with him. Once the door was closed, I was pinned against it, Damon’s lips on mine, kissing me harshly.
Then his lips went to my neck.
-I missed you so, so much… He said -Oh Damon…I missed you too… I answered moaning when he sucked a spot on my skin.
His hand slid on my thigh, and under my dress, rubbing his fingers on my clit through my panties. I whimpered in pleasure.
-Damon please… -What do you want baby girl? He said, still pleasuring me -The bed… -Oh you want me to lay you on the bed? -Yes…and make love to me, please…
He picked me up, throwing my legs around his waist, and headed towards the bed, laying me on it, climbing on top of me, spreading my legs, to put himself in between. He unzipped the zipper in front of my dress, revealing my breasts.
-Surprise! I said chuckling -That’s the kind of surprise I love! He answered before bringing his mouth on one of them, sucking it while swirling his tongue around the sensitive nub.
I moaned, my fingers went tugging at his hair. He moaned as well when I did it. Then he did the same with the other before heading down between my legs, taking my panties off, before licking a long stripe from my clit to my wetness.
A breathy moan escaped my lips. His head started moving quickly, he was devourishing me like his favorite meal.
-Oh…Damon… -Yes baby? He said, lifting his head up to see me Just make love to me please, I want you so bad… -Right now? Without preparing you? -I don’t need to be prepared; I’ve been ready since I left you. But maybe you want me to prepare you? -Nah, I’m goddamn ready too, I’m all yours my love.
We both helped each other to take our clothes off, Damon straddling me again, spreading my legs with his. He placed his tip at my entrance and kissed me. He teased my folds a little bit before pushing in.
We both let a moan out in unison. He let me get adjusted to his size for a minute or two.
-Oh, how I also missed making love to you… He mumbled
He started thrusting in me, adapting an exquisite pace, between slow and fast. It wasn’t fucking, it was really making sweet, passionate love. He was leaving kisses between my lips and my neck. I could hear his pants and breathy moans.
-Dames… I love you… -I love you too baby.
He kept moving inside me, his hands caressing my body, bringing me closer to my climax with each thrust.
I could feel his movements lose their rhythm and get sloppier. We were both close.
My nails went to dig in his back and claw at it as I let out a loud moan.
His thumb went to rub my clit, throwing me over the edge. I didn’t even have the time to tell him I was going to cum. My back arched on the mattress and my walls contracted around him and convulsed.
He let out loud moans and I felt his length throb inside me, releasing his hot cum.
He collapsed on top of me, and I felt him caress my cheek, while I caressed his back, both getting down from our high. I loved this man more than my own life.
-Don’t go again. Stay with me… I really thought I was going to lose you when you were forced to date this other twat. And I can’t lose you, I love too much for that young lady.
-I’m right here, I’m not moving Dames. Not for 3 months. I thought I was going to lose you too. I can’t see my life without you in it. I love you…

BnHA Chapter 316: We've Had One, Yes, But What About Second Explosion
Previously on BnHA: Deku was all “[powers up like whoa because it’s time to end the fight]”, and he saved Overhaul from getting not-shot, and then smashed up Nagant’s arm with the power of his new rechargeable super knees. Nagant was all “yoooo this kid is crazy strong whaaaat, it’s like he’s some kind of protagonist or something.” Deku was all “I AM A PROTAGONIST, ACTUALLY, DO YOU WANT TO JOIN FORCES AND FIGHT BAD GUYS WITH ME?” Nagant was all “ah shit why the hell no -- ” and then AFO was all “SURPRISE” and everyone was all “?!?!?!” and AFO was all “TIME TO EXPLODE NOW” and made Nagant explode because he’s an absolute fucking dick. And then Hawks showed up, because Horikoshi just wanted to stuff as many plot points as humanly possible into a single chapter I guess.
Today on BnHA: Hawks is all “good job giving motivational shounen redemption speeches Deku but I’ll take it from here” and screams very earnestly right in Nagant’s face until she finally wakes up. Nagant is all “oh hey it’s my successor, you seem surprisingly unfucked-up from your own HPSC tenure, how did you manage that?” Hawks is all “fandom is going to love hearing this one, but basically it’s because I’m very upbeat and also I had the world’s best role model Endeavor to look up to,” and I swear this man stirs the pot on purpose, but damn it I still love him so damn much. Overhaul is all “HELLO AGAIN, JUST A REMINDER THAT, THE BOSS!!” and Deku is all “MAYBE TAKE TWO SECONDS TO REFLECT ON HOW YOU TORTURED A LITTLE GIRL,” which, thank you, lol. Nagant is all “btw AFO’s hiding in a house in the woods”, and so Deku and the gang go to the house in the woods. Video recording!AFO is all “hi I’m AFO welcome to Jackass” and blows up the house. Sometimes I wonder if this manga is just a weird dream.
I am once again reading the Bean version because I think it was actually the best out of all three translations last week. and that is surprisingly including Viz’s. “faux” is not nearly as entertaining as “knockoff”, and also I have literally no idea why Caleb thought Deku was saying the Third’s lines lol
oh hey, Endeavor’s here too! not that you’d ever be able to tell from this first panel lmao
glad you received All Might’s call, mysterious unidentified glowing smudge
oh snap he says he’s weaker in the rain. is that why AFO told Nagant to attack then?? except that as we discussed the other day, I believe that AFO fully intended for Nagant to lose the fight, so him giving her info that would give her an advantage doesn’t really fit in with that. maybe he wanted Deku to be separated from Endeavor and the rest for maximum angst, though
btw Deku’s eyes are unsurprisingly back to the new normal here
alas, the angst continues. I say, pretending like I’m not totally eating it up each and every week and writing essay after essay about it lol
anyway so apparently Hawks can’t actually fly lmao. he was just yeeting himself with style
for some reason this is the funniest fucking thing I’ve ever seen omfg. wave to Hawks, kids! say “bye, Hawks!”
j/k of course Deku is catching them. -- except???
wow so he was just running on fumes there at the end. well, good to know there is actually a limit to his shenanigans, particularly regarding this new “knockoff” 100% OFA. it will definitely not alleviate any of the discourse, but it’s good for my own peace of mind because it’s solid confirmation that he still needs his pals in order to win this thing
anyway, but on to the rest of this conversation, which is basically Deku deducing what we all deduced last week -- AFO implanted some sort of trap into Nagant when he gave her Air Walk. though I’d still like to get the actual details from AFO and/or Horikoshi, because this was particularly wild even by quirk standards lol
omgggggg
she still has a face after all!! so it’s confirmed, Horikoshi has no idea what “blowing up” actually means. we might have guessed, based on what happened to Toga in the MVA arc, and also based on everything Katsuki does ever, but shhh
so now Hawks is all “NAGANT PLEASE WAKE UP, IF I SHOUT MY NAME AT YOU WILL THAT DO THE TRICK”
this is actually kind of touching though because even though we all know (or most of us acknowledge at any rate) that Hawks is a pretty caring person, it’s rare to see him actually panic over someone’s welfare like this
oh shit Horikoshi is really doubling down on it
I wonder how much Hawks knew about what really happened between Nagant and the HPSC. regardless, he probably sees her as a kindred spirit of sorts, and I’m more than happy for Deku to pass the redemption torch onto him now that he’s on the scene. like no offense Deku but they actually know each other and stuff lol
DAMMIT NAGANT CAN’T YOU SEE HOW LOUD HE IS YELLING
apparently being freed from his HPSC shackles has finally given Hawks the space to embrace his own inner shounen protagonist. is there anything more shounen than trying to motivationally scream someone awake when they’re lying in your arms inches from death?? 100% guaranteed to work
!!! IS THIS NAGANT’S POV OMG
SO SHE IS ALIVE. THANK GOD. Horikoshi doesn’t want to meet with my emotional distress lawyer today after all
love how she’s all “just gonna stir up the weekly Hawks Discourse pot here by implying that he probably committed a lot of Atrocities just like I did, so now people can get all hopped up about that, even though there’s no evidence he’s ever killed anyone aside from that one horrible ‘damned-if-you-do...’ situation with Twice.” no one asked for your provocative speculation young lady!! trust me Nagant, our rabbles don’t need the rousing lol
but nice save there with the “so how are your eyes so untainted” well you see it’s because even when he was following the HPSC’s orders he always went to great lengths never to go against his own moral compass. which just to be clear was incredibly difficult, and led to a ton of pain and suffering on his part, because the life of a spy is basically just one impossible situation after another. but in spite of that he never stopped trying to do his best to help people. I don’t really know where this tangent came from or is leading to, lol, but anyway p.s.a. I love Hawks a lot and he’s a good kid dammit
oh shit??!?
how is the League always able to swing all these fancy forest mansions. where do they find them. how many do they have
so Deku’s dropping them -- very roughly, not sure if he was reacting to finally getting AFO’s location, or if his energy really is giving out -- and now Nagant’s saying that AFO hired other villains as well. well of course he did. gotta keep chipping away at OFA’s ninth successor little by little
now Nagant is asking Hawks how he’s able to keep making “that” face. I assume she’s again talking about the fact that he somehow didn’t let the HPSC wear down his spirit
oh my god???
thanks for stuffing this chapter to the brim with good nutritional Hawks Feels, Horikoshi. what a good. he just keeps on trudging forward undeterred no matter what bullshit comes his way. what a steadfast little guy. I WILL PROTECT YOU FROM DISCOURSE MY SWEET SUNSHINE
lmaoooo
“SPOTTED THIS DUDE JUST CHILLING OUT THERE ON THE ROOF WITH NO ARMS, SEEMED PRETTY SUS” good job Endeavor
anyway so you don’t really need me to tell you that Overhaul is immediately starting in with the “BUT THE BOSS WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE ME TO THE BOSS YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD TAKE ME TO THE BOSS” stuff again. but I will go ahead and tell you anyway. so yeah. he’s doing that
OMG YOU GUYS LOOK AT DEKU’S “of all the fucking assholes to just randomly drop in on my life once again why did it have to be you” FACE THOUGH, OMG
fun fact, if you go back to chapters 124 through 160, there was an entire story arc where Overhaul imprisoned and tortured a little girl. yeah, I know!! suuuuuuuuper evil. anyways just an interesting little anecdote for you all that’s somewhat relevant to the current situation
OMG, YES. FUCK YES, DEKU
THEN WHAT ABOUT SPARING ONE FOR HER!!! YES!!! EXACTLY!!! JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, SOMEONE GETS IT
HERE’S THE PANEL OF DEKU SAYING THE EXACT SAME THING I’M SAYING LOL
(ETA: so apparently there’s some discourse about this because some people are interpreting this as Deku saying “you should apologize to Eri”, which would obviously be a terrible idea even if Overhaul actually wanted to do that, because Eri shouldn’t ever have to see him again. however I just want to point out that there is a HUGE difference between saying “it would be nice if you could direct that feeling of regret/being sorry towards Eri as well”, vs saying “you should also apologize to her.” all Deku is doing is rightfully pointing out that Overhaul has hurt way more people than just his boss, and if he really is remorseful, then he should extend those feelings of remorse to Eri and the rest as well. it’s not a directive to take any specific action, and I’m 1000% sure no one at U.A. would let Overhaul within 100 miles of Eri ever again.
tl;dr “try feeling remorse sometime” =/= “do you want me to fly you over to U.A. right now to surprise the little girl you traumatized”, lol.)
[slings an arm around Deku’s shoulders] you’re a good kid. I like you. I don’t know if I tell you that enough, but it’s true
meanwhile here is Overhaul’s “spare... a thought... for Eri...???????” face sigh
the struggle is real y’all
(ETA: and that’s... the last we ever saw of Overhaul, I guess? well all right then. I assume Deku will make good on his promise, so we know he’ll get that little bit of closure before going back to jail or whatever, and I confess I’m more than fine with leaving the rest of it open-ended, especially given his character’s history. I think this was pretty generous all things considered.)
lmao holy shit
All Might what did you do to those tiki torch guys?? did you thrash them. did you give ‘em those hands. did you deliver their own asses to them complete with a sticker reminding them Amazon Prime Day is on June 21. we missed out goddammit
so Endeavor, who wasn’t the one he was asking, is telling him that they captured (well let’s be real, Deku captured, give the credit where it’s due) Nagant and Overhaul. and so I guess they’re going to take Nagant to the ER now
fire is no one’s weakness
-- oh my GOD I scrolled down and audibly gasped
[is politely but firmly approached and asked to remove my arm from Deku’s shoulder by the physical manifestation of all this Dekuangst] “we’re sorry, he’s not allowed to have visitors right now” oh shit, my bad. [goes to stand behind a police barricade]
lmao what. did you run out of room on the previous page
what an exaggerated fade to black lmao
-- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I actually can’t see what he’s reacting to so maybe I’m just seriously jumping the gun here lol, but THE HELL WITH IT. the next panel appears to be a cut to Haibori Forest, so I’m just gonna go ahead and declare that Deku ran off on his own all wounded to go have more Dekuangst, just like I manifested. now go call Katsuki goddammit
[scrolls three more inches down] oh
yeah so like I said, Deku is walking very slowly a few feet in front of Endeavor, who’s telling him to wait up. yep. we’ve all gotta be so careful to not just jump to conclusions. I know we’re excited but still
anyway, so! welcome back to Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods (ARE YOU GUYS DATING) and Edgeshot! have fun walking into this obvious trap lol
dammit Deku why are you so determined to tempt fate
[monkey puppet meme faces]
OH MY GOD THIS IS PURE GRADE-A CHEESY COMIC BOOK VILLAIN 101 SHIT AND I’M HERE FOR IT
that’s such a weird way of clapping who claps like that
unlike certain other people who shan’t be named, AFO doesn’t feel the need to inexplicably take his shirt off when recording sinister villain monologues. I think we’re all pretty grateful for that
high fives to everyone who called it!! yep yep
anyway so this whole scene has major booby-trap vibes, which I’m enjoying immensely even though I don’t think anything is really going to come of it lol. probably just another long-winded AFO Speech. but wouldn’t it be funny if like the ceiling started lowering down to try and squish Deku afterwards lol
(ETA: well the explosion was still pretty funny too ngl.)
ffff
[“Dekuangst is the trap” intensifies]
anyway so yeah. he’s just hitting up all of his usual villain talking points. we get it, you’re so smart and you see right through the thin veneers of society and people who don’t conform are left to fend for themselves and labeled as villains and history is written by the victors, and blah blah blah dude are you just jumping randomly from one soundbyte to another lol. literally what are you talking about. what does this have to do with you blowing up Nagant
-- holy shit??
[”Dekuangst is the trap” intensifies MORE?????]
LOL WHAT
BRO. WHAT IS WITH YOU. DON’T YOU KNOW HOW TO LAY ANY OTHER KIND OF FUCKING TRAP GOOD LORD
“YOU’RE NEXT” THE CALLBACK?? THE PARALLELS?? THOUGH WHEN ALL MIGHT POINTED HE MADE IT LOOK WAY COOLER. AFO’S POINTING JUST LOOKS LIKE SMOKEY THE BEAR
HAS ANYONE CHECKED IN ON KAMUI WOODS I HEAR HE IS WEAK TO FIRE?? THE ONLY ONE WHO IS, APPARENTLY
r.i.p. to this particular forest mansion. don’t worry they have a ton of backups
remember last week when I said maybe AFO thinks explosions are gauche. well never mind. he fucking loves explosions
anyway so that’s the end of BnHA, everyone. hope you enjoyed. it was a good ride while it lasted. see you all, good luck in your travels

DREAMBOAT.
summary: you are new to AEW, a well known women’s wrestler for your daring and ballsy matches, Kenny is intrigued after the Bucks show him some of your matches, so intriguing he makes it his mission to find you and get to know you more.
Kenny Omega x f!reader
warnings: mentions of anxiety, swearing
Kenny Masterlist.
Kenny walked into The Elite’s shared locker room for a jam packed night of Wednesday Dynamite. “Yo, Ken did you hear about Y/N being signed?” Matt asked excitedly, looking up from his phone for a moment and Kenny sent him nod “Yeah, I heard she is a freak in the ring.” Kenny replied as he took a seat beside Nick and the brothers nodded “Dude, you should see this footage Matt found from one of her matches, six stars.” Matt shoved the phone in front of Kenny as he replayed the highlights of your match against their good friend Marty Scurll from a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, you were a fucking freak. Kenny’s eyes widened when he watched you take a DDT off the top rope out onto a table on the floor. “I think I am in love.” Kenny blurted out causing the guys to laugh “Is she here tonight?” He asked and Nick nodded “Yeah I think I seen her get dropped off when we arrived.” Kenny nodded, he made it his mission to find you and introduce himself.
You walked backstage with Tony Khan, familiarising yourself with all the different places you might need, like catering, medical and locker rooms. “You have your own locker room, we have you close to the gorilla so you don’t get lost.” Tony informed you as he opened the door to a decent sized room with a couple of couches and tables. You smiled and rolled in your suitcase full of gear and whatever you would need for tonight “Thank you,” you paused and turned to look at Tony “I am so excited to be here Tony, you have no idea.” He smiled brightly “No, thank you for being here. I’ll leave you to unpack and start preparing yourself, here’s a script for the show, it explains everything for your segment. If you have any questions or worries someone in the gorilla should be able to help if I’m not there personally!” You nodded and took the script from him with a small thank you, before he left and closed the door behind him.
You could not believe you were here. You had finally made it to the big league’s. All your crazy and daring matches, all the injuries and time off had finally payed off! You wheeled your suitcase over and lifted it onto the table and unzipped it, pulling out your gear and laying it out like you always did. You pulled out your headphones and slipped them on, playing your pump up playlist loudly before grabbing the script for the show and your phone, before heading towards catering to start preparing.
“Hey Tony!” Kenny called as he walked down the hallway towards the ring “Hey Kenny, how are you?” Kenny smiled and nodded “Not too bad, hey where is the new signee? I figured I’d introduce myself.” Tony nodded “Her locker room is the closest to the Gorilla.” Kenny nodded and clapped the smaller man on the shoulder “Thanks man!” He took off, walking quite quick and his heart belted his chest hard. But why was he nervous? It was just some girl from the Indies? Only you weren’t any girl, you were the best women’s wrestler in the business. Kenny finally reached your locker room and knocked a couple times, though was met with no answer. He frowned and looked around for a few moments, maybe you were out at the ring?
You were sat in catering, reading through the script, the segment you would be in specifically, biting the inside of your cheek anxiously. You were supposed to come out during Britt Baker vs Ruby Soho and ambush Ruby, seemingly aligning yourself with Britt, but would turn on her too. Do some spontaneous moves and call it a night, no biggie? You got up and set off for the ring, another thing you did ceremoniously before every show, music blaring in your ears. Once you walked out onto the stage, your eyes widened at how big the arena was, sure you knew AEW was pulling huge crowds in now, but you hadn’t realised how big they really were. You noticed the ring was completely empty, maybe it was because you were pretty early for a show? You walked down the ramp, eyes darting across the arena and thousands of empty seats, and the anxiety finally began to sink in. You pulled off your headphones, placing them with your phone and script on the floor beside the steel steps, before jumping on the apron and sliding into the ring. You clasped your hands together and did a few small circles in the centre of the ring in awe of the stadium, it brought tears to your eyes.
Kenny made his way out onto the stage, the stadium eerily quiet, though he spotted a figure stood in the ring and smiled to himself. He made his way down the ramp which caught your attention “Sorry if I’m interrupting anything.” He held out his hands as he rolled into the ring with you, leaning against the top rope “No, no I was just off in my own little world.” You replied and looked over at the man you noticed who was only one of the best in the world. “I’m Tyson or Kenny.” He extended his arm out, palm open and you nodded “Yeah, anyone and everyone knows who you are.” You chuckled with a smile and slid your hand into his, shaking it “Y/N, it’s nice to meet you.” You told him and he nodded, curls bobbing “Welcome to AEW.” He continued to smile and you exhaled sharply with a nod “Thanks,” you paused and sat down in the middle of the ring, leaning back on your hands “I’m not going to lie, I’m freaking the fuck out.” You blurted out and he followed your actions, sitting down against the bottom rope “Yeah, I get it.” He nodded, folding his arms across his chest. “You keen to give me any advice?” You asked with a hopeful gaze, meeting his eyes and you noticed how gentle and inviting they really were “Honestly, just have fun. You know your craft, we won’t make you change it. Just keep being you because that is what the people want to see.”
“Wow, you know you could become a great inspirational speaker.” You teased him and he laughed “I seen your match with Marty earlier, it was fucking nuts.” He complimented and you felt yourself blush “I bet it’s nothing compared to your matches, I am a huge fan of your work, especially your time over in New Japan.” Kenny was in shock, how could a pretty girl like you, enjoy his work? “Thank you.” He fell silent, admiring the structure of face “Y/N I wouldn’t stress too much, everyone will love you.” He added quickly and you puffed your cheeks out as you exhaled deeply once more “God I hope so.” Kenny swallowed hard, “Did you want to grab some food after the show? I know what it’s like to be in a new company, some friends can help.” You took a double take, biting your lip to suppress the grin from spreading across your face. You nodded, looking over at him once more “Yeah, yeah that’d be really nice.” Kenny nodded “Just us two okay?” He added and you giggled softly “Yes, that’s fine.” He nodded, you were a dreamboat of a woman, and he only wanted more of you.
“There you are Kenneth!” You looked past Kenny and spotted two men walking down the ramp and towards you both. “Oh hey Y/N! Welcome!” The shorter one smiled and you could tell immediately it was Nick and Matt Jackson, The Young Bucks “Hey, thank you.” You stood up and greeted them, shaking each of their hands “Did we interrupt something?” Nick asked, a knowing smirk on his face as he looked between you and Kenny. You grinned “Only everything.” You teased and rocked back and forth on your feet “Do you want to be in our youtube series?” Matt asked as he whipped out his phone and you became nervous all of a sudden “No, no I don’t want to be a bother.” Kenny noticed your change in demeanour “No, you won’t be a bother at all come on!” Matt waved his hand in the air before looking over at Kenny “Do you want to join The Elite? We need a new member and you are a perfect fit!” Nick exclaimed excitedly and you shrugged “I mean, only if you guys are down, it is your thing after all.”
Kenny looked between the boys “How about we make it a progressive thing, like film us walking out onto the stage and see her in the ring? We just come out randomly on some Rampages and Dynamites and then eventually ask her to join?” You were surprised by how open and inviting they were and Matt and Nick nodded. “Alright, I’ll go and get Brandon so he can film we’ll be back!” Nick and Matt left you and Kenny in the ring and you laughed softly “You really want me in your group?” You asked in disbelief and Kenny nodded “We could use someone awesome like yourself, we can talk more about it at dinner if you want?” Kenny felt like all his chat and spark disappeared when talking to you, you left him like a teenage boy in high school. You nodded “Yeah, that sounds great.”
God Kenny was falling hard already.

💖💘my heart’s dizzy and I my dose of serotonin whenever I read your prose🤟🏽😩 was wondering if you could do reader with an erratic future-vision!quirk so when they first meet yandere!Hawks they’re suddenly plagued by erotic, sensual, 365days-level of disturbing visions of them, so reader actively avoids them (it’s like those Tik Tok future-seeing videos playing to “Play Date”)
Prelude - Hawks isn’t a famous pro-hero in this, but he still has his quirk. It’s not really mentioned a bunch tho lol. This is rlly long, but I decided not to put it into two parts because the smut is so slight lol. Hope this meets your expectations anon, thank you for reading!
Pairing - Keigo Takami X Reader
Warnings - NSFW mentions, dubcon, noncon. No out-and-out explicit smut, just a really long story. Hawks is manipulative and gets what he wants

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He was a friend of a friend, someone you had only met once or twice.
Your friend kept bringing him to hangouts, he kept showing up on her instagram feed, getting mentioned in her twitterbio, and eventually it came out that they had started dating. It didn’t catch anyone by surprise.
What did catch you by surprise, was how infatuated with him your friend was.
“He’s just sooooo hot, isn’t he?” She squealed, shoving her phone in your face to show off a shirtless pic he had just sent her.
You nodded in agreement, quickly appraising the pic before turning your head. Yeah, her boyfriend was attractive, but you weren’t one to ruin relationships. Plus, you and Keigo had never really talked past the brief “Hey” and “Wassup?” said in greeting when introduced the first time.
“Can he come to the mall with us on Friday? I promise there will be no third wheeling.” Your friend begged, clasping her hands together. You thought about it for a second - this had been a fun shopping trip the two of you had planned a few weeks ago, meant as a girls date on a day the mall wouldn’t be crowded. But would it really hurt anything if her boyfriend came along? Probably not.
“Yeah, I don’t mind.” You shrugged, watching your friends face erupt into a wide grin. “But don’t ditch me to go makeout in a bathroom or something, got it?”
“Sir yes sir!” Your friend faux saluted, before patting you on the shoulder. “Thanks girlie!”
You jerked back, head suddenly swarming with visions, your quirk activating. Your quirk was helpful in some ways, but you mainly tried not to use it - headaches resulted, and you hated getting glimpses of the future. Sometimes they’d be good, but they were often bad - you had gotten a screenshot glimpse of your brothers death, his face marred and bleeding out onto the pavement.
It still made you sick to think about it.
Touch wasn’t something you could always avoid, but you tried, seeing as how it activated your quirk, giving you visions of your future with whomever you touched, or whoever touched you.
You saw your friends face, eyes puffy with tears, shouting something. Then another scene flashed, your friend on TV, talking to a reporter.
Thankfully, the visions ended, this episode relatively quick due to how short of a time she touched you.
“Oh shit, I forgot, I’m so sorry.” She rushed to apologize, holding her hands up and backing away from you.
“It’s-it’s fine.” You wheezed, waving your hand in the air to signal that it wasn’t a big deal. The vision just probably meant the two of you would get into a fight soon, which wasn’t uncommon. It was fine, you were fine.
——
The mall wasn’t too crowded, which made the day pleasant. Your friend was talking to her boyfriend, hand tangled with his as the three of you walked in.
“So (Y/N), what do you think about that new Victoria’s Secret launch?” Your friend bumped you with her hip, drawing your attention as she pulled you into the conversation between her and her boyfriend.
“Oh, um… what?” To be fair, you had zoned out when the couple started being gross and mushy, which was like, the second your friend met Keigo at the door.
The blonde man laughed. “Victoria’s Secret just launched a new line of lingerie, have any thoughts about it?”
Turning red, you smiled sheepishly. “Ah, well…. From what I’ve seen of their stuff it’s… nice? So I’m sure it’s good.”
Your friend mock-gasped, almost slapping you on the arm before quickly remembering your quirk, drawing her hand back. You gave a quick nod of thanks.
“(Y/N)! Don’t tell me you didn’t even know about it?! I practically live, eat, and sleep Victoria’s Secret, it’s impossible to miss their product drops when you’re one of my friends.”
Unsure how to respond, you floundered, opening and closing your mouth like a lost fish.
“Babe, leave her be, she’s probably just shy.” Keigo stepped in, giving his girlfriend a chuckle as he steered you both towards a shop.
“Fineeee.” Your friend whined, turning to focus on the task ahead. “They have a VS shop here though, you’re not getting out of here without going in with me!”
----
The VS store was huge, smelling sweetly of flowers, bright colors assaulting your vision, soft pop music filling your ears.
It was hard not to cringe at all the fancy lingerie, you were honestly a bit embarrassed to be strolling through the store with your friend, let alone her boyfriend by her side.
“Does-does Keigo mind?” You quietly asked your friend, out of earshot of her boyfriend, who was looking at perfumes, last time you checked.
“Not at all birdie, I’m used to clothes, any form, any shape.”
You whirled around, squeaking in surprise at Keigo, who had apparently finished with browsing the perfume. He was flashing you a 1000 watt grin, continuing with what he was saying. “I’m a model, practically every girl I’ve ever met I’ve seen in less than full underwear, it’s no big deal.”
“Oh…. Cool.” You offered, cheeks turning red again. You felt like such a blushing schoolgirl, turning red when faced with looking at bras and panties, flushing when a man got too close.
It was the nature of the store, you told yourself, that was making you so embarrassed.
“Oo! What do you think of this one?” Your friend was holding up a babydoll, pink, with light fabric and zero coverage.
Keigo wolf whistled. “Man, that’d be a good look for you. Lets buy it.” The couple moved on, pointing at different clothes, your friend occasionally picking one from the rack to hold up against her body, looking for Keigo’s opinion.
They were cute together, laughing over the cheesy names on the tags of the lingerie, holding hands as the browsed, your friend occasionally stopping to plant a kiss on her boyfriend’s cheek.
“I think that’s everything that I like…. (Y/N), your turn!” Pulled out of your casual observance, you back pedaled. “Me? No, I’m not really the type to wear this kind of stuff - I don’t even think most of it would fit, I have weird proportions.“
“Nonsense!” Keigo looked around for a moment, going to the nearest rack to quickly sift through bras, before pulling one out. “This one would make all the boys drool over you honey.”
He held it out towards you, shaking it slightly when you hesitated to take it. Was your friend okay with him talking to you like that, pushing underwear at you to buy? A quick glance sideways showed she was more than okay with it, clasping her hands excitedly as she watched you.
The bra was sheer, soft lavender fabric forming the cups, an intricate embroidered detail of flowers dotted haphazardly over the bra. It was pretty, but you weren’t exactly partial to it. When would you wear it? Who would you wear it for? You weren’t sure it was your style. Plus, it probably wasn’t even your size.
“My arm’s gettin’ real tired.” Keigo joked, before you finally took the garment from him. Checking the size, you paused for a second, blinking towards the man.
“How did you-?”
“You spend enough time in the fashion industry, you learn to tell a girl’s size just by looking at her.” He seemed to puff up, as if he was proud of his bra-sizing skills.
“Let me help her pick out some things too!” Your friend cried, rushing past you to head over to the next rack, ushering you to follow with a wave of her hand.
You ended up with an armful of lingerie - bras, panties, an odd bustier or two, and some other flowy items, like a sheer robe and a lacy chemise. The choices weren’t exactly made by you, more so made by a combination of your friend and Keigo together. They had alternated holding up items towards your body, comparing color and garment cuts, lost in their own mushy-gushy world, and it was almost like you didn’t exist for a few moments, nothing more than a barbie doll to dress up.
But now the three of you stood in line to checkout, and you felt included again, your friend cracking jokes that were making you snort, Keigo watching the two of you interact.
Until your friend accidentally brushed against your arm as she shifted forward in line.
Again, you saw her tearful face, heard her sobbing, before the other scene flashed, of her on TV, talking to the reporter. She still looked upset, eyes rimmed red, nose running, hair a mess.
With a gasp, your vision returned to the present, and you were wobbling on your feet, almost falling.
“Oh god, I’m so sorry (Y/N), I’m so so sorry. Here, let me take that, go sit down by the entrance.” She fussed over you, face concerned as she carefully took the stack of clothes from your arms, making sure to not make contact.
“Oh fuck, is she alright?” You heard Keigo ask, your friend stepping in front of you as he moved forward to check on you.
“Yeah, she’s just feeling a little dizzy. Can you make sure she doesn’t fall and crack her head open? Just wait by the entrance please.”
“Okay. Oh, here-“ You were a bit dazed, but you saw Keigo fish his wallet out of his pocket, thrusting the entire thing into his girlfriends hands before patting her on the shoulder “Whichever card is fine.”
And then you were stumbling towards the entrance, towards the bench right outside.
You hated seeing the future. Why was your friend crying? What had happened to elicit such a reaction? The unknowns killed you, kept you up at night as you tried to puzzle out the events that could lead up to the scenes from your visions.
Not looking where you were going, you tripped on air, unable to catch yourself as you plummeted towards the ground.
But then you were seeing Keigo.
He was above you, face flushed and sweaty, hair tousled, his chest bare. The room was dark, barely lit, and he was so close. The man leaned down to kiss you, then the scene changed.
You were bent over a table, only able to see the solid wood your face was smushed against. There was a heat in your belly, a tingling between your thighs, and pressure. Someone was talking - Keigo, muttering behind you angrily. You head was pulled up, a hand fisted in your hair, and then one of your knees was pushed up onto the table, and the pressure inside exploded into pure pleasure.
You felt yourself screaming, bucking your hips as you suffered through whatever the feeling was.
The scene changed again.
Hands tied above your head, you were pressed against a wall, sitting on some kind of…. Saddle? Your legs couldn’t touch the ground, and you squirmed, before gasping loudly.
There was a nub in the seat, ribbed and textured, slick with some kind of liquid… From you? Then you saw Keigo, standing in front of you, smirking at you with hardened eyes.
He had something in his hand, arms crossed over his chest while he fiddled with the object, muscles flexing. He was shirtless again, and-and his cock was hanging out of his sweatpants, pressed against his belly, smearing precum over his skin.
You tried to say something, anything - the visions never lasted this long, it was too intense, there was so much sensation. But your mouth wouldn’t move, choked up.
Keigo’s hand was on his length, rubbing slowly, saying something that didn’t reach your ears.
The scene changed.
Something was shoved down your throat, warm and twitching. You were sobbing, choking, clawing at whatever was in front of you. A dark laugh filled your ears, and you opened your eyes, met with the clenching abs of a strong stomach.
Keigo was brushing your tears, no, smudging them over your face. Were you wearing makeup? His cock was sitting in your throat, his hips moving in tiny jerks, stabbing your esophagus, making you gag.
Then you were back in the present.
A hand was holding your arm, keeping you from falling and making contact with the hard floor.
“-N)? (Y/N)? Are you okay? Talk to me birdie”
You made a panicked noise, pulling yourself out of Keigo’s grip so fast that you fell flat on the floor, scrambling backwards away from the man.
He almost looked scared, confused as he followed after you, holding out his hands. “(Y/N), you gotta calm down, you’re gonna make yourself sick.”
The man reached for your arm again and you pressed yourself against the floor, screeching out a loud “No!!” before he could touch you. Keigo paused, looking at his hand, then at you. “Hey, hey, I’m not gonna touch you. It’s okay little birdie, you’re alright.” He cooed, sinking to his knees in front of you.
You were hyperventilating, wide eyes trained on Keigo. Your thoughts were swirling in your head, you couldn’t focus, the sensations of the future still echoing through your body.
Keigo crouched there while you steadied your breathing, talking to you the entire time, trying to help you relax and calm down. You weren’t sure what he was saying, something about the weather? Or a dog? But you could feel your breathing evening out, head clearing.
“Hey, she fall?” You friend was carrying two bags, crouching down beside Keigo, cocking her head at you.
Her boyfriend nodded, turning to her and taking one of the bags. “I caught her, but then she freaked out and fell for real.”
Your friend nodded. “I should’ve told you earlier, she has a touch-based quirk. Every time someone touches her, she sees snippets of her future with that person.”
Keigo cocked his own head, gazing at you curiously. “I guess her future with me isn’t too positive then?”
Your friend shrugged. “Eh, she just hates seeing parts of the future. She doesn’t want to know what’s going to happen, makes her worry or something like that. Don’t take it too personally, she’s like that with everyone.”
“It-it-“ you rasped out, causing both sets of eyes to swivel towards you. “-I hate it... because-‘cause I can’t ever cha-change it.” You shivered.
Keigo nodded in understanding, before rising to his feet. “Think you can walk to my car? I’ll drive you two home, I think you’d benefit from some rest.”
He dropped you off at your apartment, and you wearily waved at the couple as they drove off, before heading inside.
----
A week passed, then two.
The visions you had concerning Keigo were plaguing your mind, filling your body with anxiety. There had been a distinctive feel of fear during each one, and despite all the other various sensations felt, the most overwhelming had been distress.
Whatever was going to happen, you weren’t going to like it.
You were holing up in your apartment, ignoring your roommates when they knocked on your door, only leaving your room to eat or grab water. You couldn’t sleep, too scared you’d have dreams, or more accurately, nightmares of what you had seen.
Curse your quirk.
Trying to pass time, desperate to keep your mind off of the future, you threw yourself into any activity you could find.
First you tried coloring - it was supposed to be relaxing, but it gave you too much time to think.
Then you tried gaming, spending hours in front of your computer mashing the keys. That worked for a bit, but your eyes and head soon protested.
You listened to music at full volume, tried several workout videos, even resorted to cleaning your space with fervent energy.
None of it took your mind off the inevitable.
“(Y/N), someone’s at the door asking for you.” You jerked awake, slumped over uncomfortably on the floor, the half finished card tower in front of you promptly knocked over at your erratic movements.
“(Y/N)?” Your roommate called again.
“Yeah! Coming, sorry.” You mumbled, scrubbing sleep from your eyes. You guess your body would give out sometime and force you to fall asleep, but as you moved to stand, you sorely wished your body had chosen a more comfortable place to pass out.
Opening the front door, you immediately took a cautious step back, sleepy demeanor vanishing.
Keigo smiled at you, one hand in the pocket of his jeans, the other holding a bouquet of flowers.
Flowers?
“Hey birdie, mind if I come in?”
You stared at him for a second, immediately on guard. Why did he have flowers? Why did he want to come in? Wasn’t he dating your friend? She didn’t live here, what was he doing here?
The man cleared his throat, raising an eyebrow at you. You moved to the side, holding open the door for Keigo to come inside.
Your roommates were home. If anything happened, they would be within earshot.
Keigo shot you a smile and a thanks, before immediately moving into the small living room, taking a seat on the couch. When he saw you still hovering by the open door, he patted the cushion beside him.
“Come sit, I promise I don’t bite.” He thought for a moment, before grinning. “Well, not unless you want me to.”
Hesitantly, you shut the front door, going to sit in a ratty armchair further away from the winged man. If this bothered him, the man didn’t let it show other than a short pause before he spoke.
“So, I know it probably seems like, super weird for me to show up at your apartment, but hear me out.”
Flowers were shoved in your lap, Keigo taking great care to avoid touching you. “I felt bad about the other day, and my girl and I decided that we should get you some flowers. She picked ‘em out, it even says so on the note.” The man laughed, running a hand through his hair.
“She’s so uptight about this kinda stuff. Anyways, just wanted to say that I’m sorry for grabbing you like that. If I had known, I would’ve let you fall flat on your ass. But I know now, so I’ll be better, cool with you?”
Finishing his little speech, Keigo held out his hands, wings stretching behind him to mimic the gesture.
Looking at the flowers in your lap, you felt your hands shaking. Picking up the little note attached to the bouquet, you found that your friend had indeed picked out the flowers, which made sense. They were your favorites, and in a nice color too. Keigo had left a messy, scrawled “Sorry!” in one corner, before signing by his girlfriends name.
“Um, thank you Keigo, you didn’t have to apologize.” You murmured, rubbing one of the flower petals between your fingers. You were so glad your quirk extended solely to humans - if you were shown glimpses of the future of everything you touched, you would most likely go mad.
“Nah, I wanted to. Also wanted to swing by, check how you’re doing. You been taking care of yourself?” He relaxed on the couch, legs spread, arms resting behind his head. This wasn’t his home, yet you totally could believe that it was by the ease with which he owned the space with his presence.
“Oh, well… I’m still here, so…” You shrugged.
Keigo frowned. “That’s not a fun answer. How much sleep you been gettin’ each night? Eight hours?”
You shook your head, huffing out a breath in place of a laugh.
Keigo clicked his tongue. “No sleep? That’s bad for you y’know. Have you at least been drinking water? Eatin’?”
You nodded quickly, looking up to meet the man’s gaze. “I’m not a kid. I appreciate your concern, but it’s not necessary.”
At this point, you think the best thing for your health would be for the man to leave.
The blonde man stared at you for a moment, before sighing. “Alright, I get it. But I don’t want to hear that you’ve passed out or something, got it? Your friend would kill me.”
He rose to his feet, and so did you, walking him to the door. “Thanks Keigo, and thank you again for the flowers. That was very sweet of you both.”
Keigo beamed, giving a two fingered salute. “You deserve it birdie. Well, have a good rest of your day, yeah? Eat something.”
You smiled, at Keigo as he turned away, beginning to whistle as he strolled down the hall.
Once the door was shut, you found a vase for the flowers, filling it with water and setting it on the table. Your roommates would think it was pretty, and it was, a nice little centerpiece.
That really was nice of your friend and Keigo to offer you flowers.
——
“Welcome to Gold Nile Jewelers, how can I-“ You blinked at the man entering the shop. “-Keigo.”
“Birdie? You work here?” He looked just as confused as you felt, cocking his head to the side as he approached the counter.
You looked around the small display room, nodding your head. “Yep… You looking for anything specific today?”
“Ah, right!” He clasped his hands together, bending over to lean on the display counter as he looked up at you. “So professional (Y/N), it’s just me.” The man chuckled.
“Actually, I thought I’d get my girl a cute little bracelet or something like that, you think she’d like that?”
Knowing your friend, she’d be ecstactic. “Oh, absolutely. Any particular occasion, or just an “I love you gift”?” You asked, already running through the list of bracelets in stock.
“It’s our two month anniversary in another week, thought I’d get her a little sumn’ sumn’, y’know?”
Gold Nile Jewelers was an expensive store. You patted yourself on the back for not dropping your jaw when he said “two month anniversary”. People came here for wedding rings and special occasion jewelry, not monthly anniversaries like some high schoolers.
Well, unless they were rich.
You showed Keigo the selection of bracelets currently available, the man listening quietly to your product descriptions and recommendations, asking questions about the fit and feel, and if you think your friend would like a particular one.
“Honestly Keigo, I could choose one I think she’d like, but it’d be more special if you chose for her.” You finally told him. He wasn’t annoying you, but you felt frustrated with his apparent lack of knowledge about his girlfriend. How did he not know what her favorite color was? “I’d suggest coming back in a few days. Go home, see what kind of jewelry she wears, pay attention to the colors she gravitates towards, if she’s allergic to any metals.”
Keigo tapped his chin. “Hmm, you have a good point. I guess I should pay more attention to those kinds of things.”
You nodded as you began to pack the expensive bracelets back into their display cases. “Gifts for a significant other can be hard. Honestly, it means a lot if they pick it out themselves and surprise you with it. Makes it special.”
“Oh, you have a partner?” Keigo asked, bright eyes watching your hands work.
A frown almost crossed your features, but you stopped it before it could show. “Ah, sorry, that’s not really a work-appropriate question.”
“Awh, c’mon! It’s just me, we’re friends, can’t you tell me?” Keigo pouted, batting his eyelashes at you in an exaggerated, dramatic fashion. The display made you laugh, so you indulged him. After all, he was a friend. No harm in telling him something he was bond to know sooner or later.
“I’m actually single right now. But as a jeweler sale associate, I know how much it means to a person when their partner picks out a gift for them, especially if it’s a surprise.”
Keigo nodded his head solemnly. “That makes sense. I better follow your advice then eh? Find out what she likes-“ he mused “-I can do that.”
“Good luck Keigo!” You called after him as he strolled through the door, waving when he smiled at you, giving that same, goofy two fingered salute that he always did when saying goodbye.
The man unnerved you, the visions you had experienced concerning him making you worry. But as long as he was dating your friend, you felt that you’d be fine.
-----
Keigo showed up again two days later.
“Back so soon?”
“You know me-“ He shook out his umbrella, placing it in the drip-bin by the door, wiping his shoes on the mat. “I always try to be speedy with my work.”
It was grey outside, drizzling slightly. You loved these kinds of days, where you could sit near a window and watch it rain while sipping tea. It was so peaceful and calm, and always soothed your stress.
“Find out anything useful?” Whatever he could tell you would make it easier to refine the jewelry selection for his particular needs.
“So, she doesn’t have any bracelets, and I asked her about why and she said they annoy her. She likes necklaces.” He clarified,. You could tell by the way he puffed up that he felt proud of his detective skills. “I even made a note of the lengths - she likes ones that dip low, which-“ He wolf whistled, and your stomach turned. But it was fine, just awkward.
“Alright, I think we have quite a few like that. Let me collect them for you and lay them out.”
Keigo strolled around the display room while you bustled about, looking in each case at the shiny metals and stones
You laid out the necklaces, calling Keigo over. The man smiled brightly at you as you showed him the selection, noticing he was gravitating towards the more simply, elegant choices.
“I’m sure she would be thrilled with any of these.” You offered, Keigo silent as he tried to decide between two necklaces.
Still, the man shook his head, quirking his lips. “I just…. I need to see them on, y’know?” Then he brightened, as if he had just thought of something. “Hey, can you try them on? Model one for me? Just to see what it’d look like.”
You laughed nervously. “Sorry Keigo, but I’m not allowed to do that, it’s against company policy. Only customers get to try on the jewelry, and that’s if they’re supervised.”
“Awh, c’mon! No one else is here, and I won’t tell.” The man leaned forward, shooting you a quick wink before he snatched up one of the necklaces, holding it out towards you. “Please? I just need to see it. I promise I’ll buy it.”
He was so insistent, and no matter how loud the alarm bells were wringing in your head, you felt cowed by his confidence.
“Um, still… I don’t think it’s allowed-“
“Fuck what’s allowed-“ He cut you off, snorting. “-I want to see what it looks like. It’s just me (Y/N), I’m not gonna snitch.”
A heavy sigh, and you finally agreed, taking the necklace from his nimble fingers. You slung it around your neck, not fastening the back as you held it in place. Hopefully that would be enough to sate Keigo’s curiosity.
His eyes immediately followed the curve of the necklace, how it dipped low towards your cleavage (curse you for wearing a lower-cut shirt today). You tried to ignore the leering.
“Here, let me help you fasten it, doesn’t look right otherwise.”
Before you could protest, he was sliding behind you, deft hands reaching for the necklace your had in your grasp.
“Keigo no-!”
But it was too late.
You were pressed up against a wall, face-first, your hands gathered into the small of your back and held there with a vice-like grip. There was pressure between your legs, something hammering into you, in and out, in and out, in and out.
Keigo was talking to you, you could tell it was the man by his voice. What was he saying? You were too overwhelmed with the sensation between your legs to focus on the words falling from his lips.
Sweat dripped from your temples, Keigo’s chest pressed up against your back was slick with perspiration, his nipples hard and pressing into your skin. It was an uncomfortable situation-
And then it changed.
You were tied up now, tight enough that you couldn’t move no matter how you thrashed. Knees bound in such a way so your ass was up in the air, arms stretched out in front of you, anchored to the headboard of the bed.
Keigo was behind you again - nothing to indicate that the tongue running through your core was his, but somehow, you knew.
You were begging and pleading, withing in your restraints against his tongue, but he wouldn’t let up, he wouldn’t let you crest the mountain that had built up inside. He kept chuckling, the vibrations running through you and making you buck your hips. You felt disgusting.
Then the bed was gone, and Keigo was in front of you. He was sitting in an office chair, your legs straddling his lap. Hands on your hips were dragging you back and forth, grinding you on the hard member protruding from Keigo’s lap. He was flushed, letting out little moans as he kept eye contact with you, smiling and praising you.
Then you were back.
Gasping, you shot away from Keigo, the expensive necklace clattering to the ground as it fell from your hands.
The man froze, confusion etched across his features as he watched you bend over, trying to catch your breath, to calm down, to ignore the lingering sensations from the futuristic visions.
“(Y/N)…”
“I think-I think you should leave.” You heaved, tears building. That had been awful, everything had felt good but you hadn’t. You felt uncomfortable and disrespected and stupid. That couldn’t be your future with Keigo, you wouldn’t be able to handle that. He was your friend’s boyfriend, for goodness sake!
Keigo opened his mouth to say something, but you snapped at him “Leave.”, making the man click his jaw shut.
He walked out the door, shooting you concerned glances the entire way.
You felt better as soon as he was gone, the door clicking shut after him. Thankfully, you were the only employee out front at the moment, and no other customers were present, so no one but you and Keigo had experienced your outburst.
Bending down to pick up the necklace, you inspected it carefully, horrified that you had dropped such an expensive item. It was alright though, so you brought it back to the others, shakily beginning to gather them up to put away.
You didn’t want to see Keigo again.
——-
“I just don’t understand!”
Your friend sobbed, surrounded by tissues on your bed, eyes red and blotchy. You wished you could rub her back, our give her a hug, but you knew what would happen. So you stayed on the floor, passing up tissues and offering wordless sympathy.
“Why would he break up with me? Why?”
You shrugged, looking for words. “I don’t know… I’m sorry that this happened, but if he can’t see how awesome you are, then he’s an idiot.”
She sniffed, blowing her nose. You could tell she wasn’t convinced, but she didn’t say anything further, instead choosing to wipe her eyes.
She had called an hour or so ago, tearful, asking if she could come over. Refused to tell you what was wrong, but the second you let her in, she had burst into tears, explaining everything.
Keigo had broken up with her via text, that asshole.
“I just…. I thought we were good. Did I do something wrong? I just don’t get it.”
“Neither do I. You said he just texted you out of the blue?”
She nodded her head, going to blow her nose again. “We were supposed to go out for dinner tomorrow, it’s our two month anniversary.”
You cringed. Did your encounter with Keigo in the jewelry store have something to do with this? Had you driven your friend’s boyfriend away? Had you weirded him out? Oh god, what if this was all your fault?
Your friend broke down into a sob again, slumping onto your bed. You passed her another tissue. “It’ll be okay. I think he’s a stupid fucker that just wanted to play with your heart. He isn’t worth shit. You deserve so much better than him.”
She nodded, blotchy eyes seeking out your own. In the back of your mind, you cringed, seeing the exact same scene from your vision. Well, at least the two of you hadn’t gotten in a fight.
——-
A few weeks later, Keigo was at your door.
“You need to leave. Now.”
“Aw, c’mon (Y/N), at least hear me out?”
You huffed, crossing your arms. Maybe he had a dumb explanation for why he had dumped your friend. You were wary of him accidentally touching you again though. “Fine, but make it quick.”
“No promises.” He grinned, breezing past you and into your apartment. He beelined for the chair you had sat in last time he was here, leaving you to take a seat on the couch.
“Alright-“ He settled in, fixing you with a gleeful eye. “How do you feel about your quirk?”
Caught off guard, you blinked. Wasn’t he going to explain why he had broken your friend’s heart? “Um, what?”
“Your quirk, y’know, the one that makes you see the future?” He leaned forward, rubbing his hands together with a smile. He seemed far too pleased, and it made you nervous.
“I hate it. If I could get rid of it, I would.” You stated, ready to move onto a different topic. But just as you were about to ask him about your friend, he rose to his feet, fishing in his pockets.
He drew out a bracelet, black and red, thin. “Well then, lookie what I have.” The man walked over, sitting down quickly on the couch next to you, causing you to immediately scoot to the end. You didn’t want him touching you.
“Oh, sorry.” He apologized upon noticing your unease. Instead of scooting closer, he simply tossed the bracelet onto your lap, leaning back as he watched you look at it curiously. “Put it on, see how it fits.”
“I don’t need jewelry Keigo, and I think we should be spending our time discussing why you bro-“
“Just put it on (Y/N), please? I promise you won’t regret it.”
Huffing, you did as he asked, clasping the bracelet around your wrist. It fit snug, almost too tight, but it hugged your wrist comfortingly. It was pretty, but you didn’t see what this had to do with your quirk, or with your friend, or anything that held any relevancy.
Bracelet now on, you fixed Keigo with a blank stare. “Happy?”
“I don’t know.” Keigo grinned. “Are you?” And then he was hugging you, arms wrapped around your shoulders, face buried in your neck.
You shrieked, already panicking as you tried to ready yourself for the onslaught of visions that accompanied physical touch.
They never came.
Choking back a surprised gasp, you drew back from his hug to find Keigo’s eyes, the man smiling down at you as he watched your reaction.
“Kei-Keigo…” You stuttered, shocked, surprised, euphoric, confused - so many emotions, all at once. You couldn’t even think to brush off the hands still around your shoulders, thumbs brushing at the tops of your exposed collarbones by the neck of your shirt.
You weren’t able to think rationally, couldn’t focus on anything but the awe you felt at being touched without being slammed with visions of the future.
You forgot about the terrifying visions you had gotten when Keigo touched you.
You forgot about how he had hurt your friend, broke her heart with no explanation.
You forgot about his hands refusing to leave your body.
“Keigo, this is…. Amazing” You breathed, wide eyes snapping up, catching his smiling face, eyes crinkly and twinkly.
“I had my team modify some quirk-cancelling cuffs! You seemed so upset whenever someone touched you, I couldn’t leave you with such a burden.”
Nodding, you returned your gaze to the bracelet, turning your wrist this way and that to look at the bracelet from different angles.
“I mean, I know how much I like being touched, and touching. I think I’d totally die if I couldn’t.” Keigo chuckled, but you weren’t listening.
The rest of his time sitting next to you on the couch was spent explaining the colors he had spent so long picking (“They’re my personal favorite, aren’t they nice?”) and why he had decided on a bracelet (“It could’ve been a necklace, but I think it looks better in it’s original cuff design, looks cooler that way.”).
By the time he had to leave, you were completely sidetracked, so distracted with your shiny new jewelry that you didn’t even remember to ask what his deal was with being a jerk to your friend, his now ex-girlfriend.
-----
“-and then he gave me the bracelet. I wasn’t thinking much after that, I just… I can hug you, isn’t that incredible?”
You gave your friend another squeeze, feeling a smile dance across your face. But then you sobered, pulling back from her with your hands on her shoulders, quickly becoming serious.
“But he’s really starting to kind of weird me out. Why won’t he explain why he broke up with you? He’s being a little bitch. I tried asking him a couple times, but he kept cutting me off, and I feel like the bracelet was a distraction to stop me from busting his chops about his behavior towards you.”
Your friend looked sad for a second, before shrugging. “I dunno, he just said things weren’t working out, and that while he liked me, he’s not ready for a relationship right now ‘cause of where he’s at in his life.”
“Psh-“ You scoffed, going in for another comforting squeeze for your friend. “-that’s code for “I’m a fuckboy and want to sleep around”.”
“I know….. But it still hurts.” You friend sighed, wrapping her arms around your neck. “But at least he gave you that quirk thing. I’ve never seen you so happy.”
“I just wish he was a mildly decent person.” You grumbled, detaching from the hug to sit back, glaring at the ceiling. “He gives me the fucking creeps.”
“How so?” You friend locked her head to the side, throwing her arm over the back of the couch. You had called her over the second Keigo had left, finally gathering your wits about you.
“I dunno…” You shrugged, not quite ready to tell her about the disturbing visions containing him. Did that have something to do with their breakup? Was it your fault? What was going to happen with Keigo? It honestly scared you, the residual feelings and sensations you could remember from the visions.
Your friend nodded understandingly. “Some people just give off those vibes. Well, at least we don’t ever have to see him again. Good riddance I say.”
You agreed.
——-
Knocking on the door, you shuffled your feet as you took in the house.
It was one of those rich places - nice neighborhood, fancy street filled with lavish houses, expensive cars. You felt slightly out of place, shifting from foot to foot in your clearance-rack clothes.
The door swung open, revealing a sleepy Keigo, shirtless, clad in nothing but sweatpants.
“Oh, um-“ You quickly turned, averting your eyes, trying to give the man privacy in case he hadn’t realized he was shirtless. It looked like he had just woken up from a nap, eyes blinking owlishly, hair mussed.
“Hey (Y/N), come on in.”
Still keeping your eyes turned away, you stepped inside the opulent house, trying not to gape too much at the decor inside. You didn’t want to look like a complete peasant in front of Keigo, but he’d already been to your house, so you could imagine that he knew of your poor-ness.
“Something wrong? You can look at me y’know, I’m not gonna turn you to stone or something.” Keigo joked, voice entirely too close for comfort.
Head whipping around, you found that he was too close, practically almost touching you as he stood beside you, head cocked as he watched you.
“No… nothings wrong, you’re just…” You gestured to his torso, and Keigo looked down in confusion, before looking back at you, a grin on his face.
“Ah, just woke up.” He shrugged, before reaching out to touch your arm. “Bracelet still keeping that quirk at bay?”
You nodding, following the blonde as he turned and walked further into his house, towards the kitchen.
“Glad to hear! I just wanted to look at it a bit, make sure nothing’s worn or torn, y’know? Hate for you to have to deal with the no-touching thing again.” He said over his shoulder, gesturing for you to sit down at the island, on one of the barstools.
You did so, watching the man open his fridge, take out a carton of milk, uncap it. “Is it too tight?”
“Nope.”
He drank right out of the bottle, and you watched some dribble out of the corner of his mouth, down his chin. The man finished gulping down the milk, taking the bottle away from his lips to swipe at the white trail of liquid rolling down his chin.
Eyes dark, he made contact with your own eyes as he cleaned his chin with a finger, stuffing it in his mouth to suck it clean.
That was gross.
The next second, he was back to normal, cheerfully putting the milk back into the fridge. “Good, good. Now, mind if I take a look at it? You should keep it on though.”
You nodded, and Keigo straightened, walking around the island to sit next to you, shuffling his stool closer.
He grabbed your wrist, laying it out on the island, before beginning to poke at the bracelet, running his fingers over it, fiddling with it, squeezing the tendons in your hand, smoothing his hand up your arm.
It felt a bit intrusive.
“So the visions are all blocked?”
“Yep.”
“And you can touch and be touched?”
“Yeah.”
“How’s your appetite? Sometimes complete quirk suppression can make you lose your appetite.”
“It’s been normal, I guess I’m a little hungrier than normal, but I’ve been getting out more too, not as afraid of crowds.”
“Nice! And how about your libido?”
You spluttered, choking on your own spit, snatching your hand away from Keigo’s wandering touches.
“Excuse me? That’s a bit personal, thanks.”
Keigo shrugged, bright eyes hooded and lazy. “It’s just a question.”
“Are you done making sure it’s all good? No broken parts?” You changed the subject, narrowing your eyes. You can’t believe your friend had ever dated him, that you had ever thought he was anything but a playboy.
You wouldn’t even be here, in his house, but he had come into the jewelers a while back (both you and your friend had blocked his number), spouting something about your bracelet needing constant checks and maintenance in order to keep suppressing your quirk. (“Wouldn’t want it to stop working, right? Just stop by sometimes, here’s my address.”).
So here you were.
Keigo leaned back a little, raising an eyebrow at your irritated tone of voice. “Woah there, don’t get snippy. I’m doing you a favor, right? I’m not trying to hurt you or something.”
Technically, you guess he was right. But he had played your friend, had fucked with her feelings. He was a fuckboy, liked messing with each and every girl he could find, and you didn’t care to be one of them.
“And I appreciate that Keigo. But I like to keep my private life private.”
Keigo was silent, simply holding out a hand for you to place your arm in, so he could fiddle more with the bracelet.
Several moments of awkward silence passed before he spoke again. “You’re being awfully ungrateful. It makes me think you don’t even want this little gift. If I were you, I’d be doing everything I could to show the person kind enough to do such a thing for me how thankful I was.”
Lost for words, you stared at the man. Was he expecting some sort of award? Some sort of prize? It’s not like you had anything to give him.
“I don’t have anything to give you in thanks. Just my words, which I’ve said plenty of. I didn’t ask you to make this for me.” You pointed out.
“Sure, but you use it, don’t you? You wouldn’t like it if I took it away, right? Think about how miserable your life was before I gave you this.”
Your life had been miserable. Afraid to go out in crowds, afraid to leave the house, Nervous about grocery shopping, about paying and having the cashier touch your hand as they handed over the change.
Scared of public transportation, of coffeeshops and bookstores, of public parks, even your own home. What if one of your roommates forgot and touched you? Or accidentally bumped into you?
Plus, you could hug now, and shake hands, and slap your friends back when she told a horrible joke, or tap her when you wanted her attention.
You didn’t want to go back to before. “I’m sorry Keigo… I really do think it’s lovely, and I can never thank you enough for doing this for me.”
Keigo let go of your arm, and it swung back to your side. You could feel the man looking at you.
“You know what would let me know that you mean it?”
God, it better not be something sexual.
“You could buy me coffee. Or maybe a cookie from that bakery on 1st Avenue, you know the one? With the little bunny pastries?”
That surprised you.
“You go there? That’s my favorite place.” You mused, looking at Keigo in surprise. He didn’t seem the kind of guy who’d like a place like that. But appearances could be deceiving.
“Of course! I really like their stuff.”
“Alright,” You conceded, rising to your feet. “I’ll get you some stuff from there. Want it today?”
Keigo rose to his feet as well, crossing his arms over his bare chest. “Yeah! Let me get dressed real quick, and then I’ll go with you. Don’t go anywhere birdie.” He shot you a wink, before sauntering past you, out of the kitchen. You raised a brow, surprised. He meant to go with you?
“Make yourself at home while you wait, don’t be afraid to kick up your feet!”
——-
The bakery smelled as lovely as usual.
A warm atmosphere, good food, friendly employees. It was your favorite place for a reason.
“Alright, what do you want?” You asked Keigo, the two of you staring up at the menu.
“Hmm, I don’t know. What are you going to get?”
“Probably a muffin, those are my favorite.”
“What!?! That’s my favorite too! How crazy.” Keigo smiled at you, dimples showing. You got the feeling that he was brown-nosing you, but you kept the thought to yourself, striding up to the counter to order.
Muffins purchased, you approached Keigo, who was lounging by one of the display cases, admiring the delicate, mouthwatering masterpieces held within.
“All good to go?” His smile was so charming, so friendly, you almost caught yourself wanting to see it more. Huffing in irritation at yourself, you pushed past him, shoving the bag with his muffin into his chest.
“Here’s your stuff. I’m going home now, see you around.”
“Wait!” Keigo turned, jogging a little to catch up as you exited the bakery. “We gotta eat these before they get cold - hey, birdie, are you listening to me?“
You weren’t, stoically keeping your head turned forward, walking with determination. There was only so much of Keigo that you could tolerate, and you had reached your limit. He was starting to really annoy you, didn’t he get that you wanted to go home? You’ll just eat your muffin on the subway, it’s not that hard.
“(Y/N)-“ His sudden growl was punctuated by an arm on your shoulder, spinning you around and pulling you towards the man.
“Hey-!” The sudden collision of your face with his chest knocked your breath away, almost causing you to drop your own muffin in the process.
When you managed to gather yourself, you shot a glare up at Keigo’s face, only to find the blonde smirking down at you, a fierce glint in his eyes.
“I expect you to listen when I’m talking, got it? I don’t like being ignored.”
That’s evident.
You tried to back away, but he still had a hand on your shoulder, squeezing you tight to him. “Keigo! Let me go, you stupid idiot-“
“Stop it, I’m not doing anything to you, ya big baby.” He cooed down at you, before taking his hand away, letting you stumble backwards.
He was just messing with you, teasing you. It was obvious, yet still you allowed him to be around you.
“Alright, I’m sorry, I know all the touching’s gotta be new still. Wanna go eat these in the park? I’ll buy you some ice cream if you want.”
“I don’t want ice cream, I want to go home.”
Keigo frowned, walking after you when you turned on your heel, heading for the subway. “Why do you dislike me so much? I’ve done so much to help you, and yet you spit in my face. Your parents ever teach you how to be grateful? Or even respectful?”
You gasped at his accusation, stopping in your tracks to whirl around, only to find the man far closer than what you had expected. Still, you tried to hide your surprise at his proximity, jabbing a finger in his direction.
“You are a playboy, you broke my friend’s heart, and you want to sleep with every single person you come across just to mess with their feelings. I don’t want to be around you. I won’t get dragged into that.”
The man watched you, face solemn and contemplative. “Is that really how you see me?”
“Why would I say any of that unless it was true?”
He ran a hand through his hair, looking up and around, as if gathering his bearings, before back down at you.
“Have you ever considered that I’m the one getting my heart broken?”
“Yeah right-“ You scoffed, only for Keigo to cut you off.
“People want to sleep with me because they think it’ll get them something that they want. Fifteen second fame, a piece in a tabloid about my “new lover”…. Think it’ll help them further their career, or that I’ll give them money. I can’t find anyone real.
“And my friend wasn’t real enough for you?” You spat, not believing him for a second.
“Nope. You think she liked me for who I am?”
“Uh, yeah? She gushed to me all the damn time about how good you were, how she felt about you. That girl held nothing but love and affection for you.”
The man snorted, rolling his eyes. “Yeah, sure, love for my wallet.”
“She’s not like that.” You argued, brows furrowing.
“Really? Cause she was sucking me dry, and not even in a sexy way.”
You crinkled your nose at what he was implying. Your friend wasn’t like that, she truly had felt for Keigo, had liked him as her boyfriend. She wasn’t just a leech.
“I’m done talking about my failed love life.” Keigo said lowly, nudging your shoulder. “I just thought two friends could hangout, but it seems like you think all I do is try and fuck people.”
“No, Kiego…. That’s not what I meant.” Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t, but right now…. You almost felt a twinge of sympathy for him.
Some of what he was saying made sense, how people would try and use him for various reasons. But that still didn’t explain his sudden and harsh breakup with your friend. And over text no less, a complete douche move!
But you felt bad about his words, about how he seemed to actually want to hangout, and yet you were accusing him of trying to sleep with you. But what about those visions you had had? Was that even how they went? Or were you remembering falsely based on your bias towards the man?
And what about his suggestive touches, his leering gaze? Was that maybe just how he always was, and it wasn’t exclusive to you? Were you inflating your place in his life, thinking that he wanted you?
It was confusing, and you didn’t want to think about it, try and untangle the lies from the truth. Right now, you just wanted to eat your muffin.
“If you really didn’t mean it, then can we go eat these in the park? I just want to chill with someone that isn’t trying to gain something from me. I want to spend time with someone that’s real.”
With a half-irritated sigh, you nodded, hoping you wouldn’t regret hanging out with the obnoxious man.
-----
He kept calling you, texting you. You’d had to unblock his number at some point, in order for him to text you about the bracelet and when he needed to look at it.
“Come overrrrr, I’m bored!”
“Birdie, are you hungry? The delivery place gave me extra Torikatsu and I don’t want it to go bad. Can I come drop it off?”
He’d swing by the jewelers, leaning over the counter to talk to you about a recent shoot he’d booked, or something he saw recently.
Keigo seemed to slowly insert himself into every facet of your live, against your will, ignoring every subtle, irritated attempt of yours to turn him away. Every single time you saw him, your mind would inevitably think of the visions, but you felt like you couldn’t trust yourself with those anymore.
The man assured you at every step, he had no romantic feelings for you, he just wanted a friend, someone to put him in his place, be honest with him.
You definitely were honest.
Snapping at him when he showed up at your apartment uninvited, coming up behind you on the street and grabbing your sides, laughing when you shrieked and tried to hit your attacker, only to realize it was Keigo.
Tearing into him when he tried to talk badly about your friend - she had been having less and less contact with you, and you couldn’t figure out why. Now your relationship with her was reduced to curt text messages. Maybe she was just going through a hard time, and wanted alone time? Still, you let her know you were there for her, whenever she needed.
You were honest when Keigo asked your opinion on food, TV shows, clothes, movies. It was almost satisfying saying something sucked, just to see Keigo’s face fall slightly, before he shook his head, whining.
“Then help me pick something out! I can’t do it without you-“
He totally could, he was just being a baby.
The more he inserted himself into your life, the more you realized that he was akin to a petulant child, just with muscles and a penchant for inappropriate touching.
Whenever he saw you, he’d try to draw you into a hug, letting his hands drop far down your back, way too low for you to feel comfortable. You’d slap them away, and Keigo would laugh, before ruffling your hair.
He’d have you come over so he could check your quirk suppressor, except he was in the middle of a show, and it was getting to the best part. (“Sit down, shhh, it’s just getting good!”) You’d have to sit through the entire thing, enduring Kiego’s hand lazily drawing shapes over your pants on your thigh, simply putting it back whenever you shoved it off.
He was insufferable, irritating to no end, but you could tell he was a lonely man, bitter about his love life and with his friendships.
So you tolerated his presence.
After all, he wasn’t trying to hurt you. That’s something he reiterated every single time you shied away from his touch. He made you feel like a fool for thinking the man was hitting on you, when he made it so clear that he wasn’t, only interested in friendship.
Until you fell asleep at his house.
Another one of those days were he needed to look at your quirk suppressor (which you were 99% sure was fine, it seemed like he just enjoyed seeing it on your wrist). He had been rummaging around in his room before he had to run and open the front door for you, talking as he walked back to return to his previous task.
Apparently he was trying to find a good shirt, seeing as how he had pants on, but his chest was bare. Keigo instructed you to sit on the bed for a second while he retreated into his massive closet, trying to find a good shirt to go with the rest of his outfit.
His bedroom was pretty large, a full California King taking up the majority of the space, neatly made. The sheets and blankets felt soft beneath your fingers as you sat on it’s edge, prepared to wait for Keigo for a bit.
The man always took his fashion very seriously - one time he’d even spent two hours trying on clothes until he’d decided on an appropriate outfit to go to the park.
So you followed your tired eyes, exhausted from work and dealing with Keigo, worrying about your friend, daily life stressors and the like. Keigo wouldn’t mind if you laid back, right? Your feet wouldn’t be on the bed, so it’d be fine.
And it was fine, pleasant, the room the perfect temperature.
You were roughly jerked out of sleep by pressure. Pressure on your hips, pressure on your lips.
Eyes jolting open, you tried to inhale, only to find yourself unsuccessful.
Keigo was on top of you.
Panicking, your hands came to push at him, a muffled sound of protest being squeaked out from where his lips pressed against yours.
Noticing you were awake, Keigo pulled back, smiling the whole while.
“I’m not willing to wait anymore, I just gotta have you.”
His eyes were glinting, hair tousled, still shirtless. You felt goosebumps arise as you remembered the vision you had so long ago, of this exact moment.
“Wai-mmph!” His lips were on yours again, passionate and warm, moving eagerly. A wet tongue pressed at the seam of your mouth, surprising you and making you blanch, which allowed the man access.
Kiego’s tongue explored the inside of your mouth, playfully tapping your own wet muscle, encouraging you to lift it and wrestle with him.
This was too weird, this wasn’t happening, you couldn’t do this-
Biting down hard, you snapped your teeth shut on his tongue, and Keigo yelped, drawing back immediately.
“Ouch, what the fuck!?! Chill out (Y/N), geez.” His hand was dabbing at his mouth, wincing when it came in contact with his bleeding tongue. You had bitten him deep, but you weren’t focused on that right now.
“What are-what are you doing?” Your voice was breathless, disoriented. The room felt…. Dark, and suffocating, as if it was closing in on the two of you, trapping you.
Keigo looked down at you, and it was only then that you realized you had been moved to lie on the bed fully, shoes off, legs splayed. The man rested on his stomach between them, his weight pressed against your body, keeping you still.
“I told you, I can’t wait anymore. I’ve been as nice as I can, but it’s time you started paying me back for everything I’ve done for you.”
What? Paying him back-was he talking about the quirk suppressor he had gifted you? Had he been lying about his true intentions this whole time?
“That’s not right, it was a gift, you-you don’t have to pay back a gift.” You spluttered, feeling as if your chest was collapsing.
Keigo shook his head, swooping down to leave a bloody kiss on your forehead, which you cringed at, before pulling back to speak.
“Nah, it wasn’t a gift. You know how expensive it was? You were always gonna have to compensate me. Now shush, I wanna feel you-“
One of his hands grabbed your jaw, keeping your face turned towards his, pressing down until tears formed in your eyes. His lips were bloody from the bite on his tongue, tasting unmistakably like iron.
You didn’t want this.
Trying to bite him again left you with a slap to your thigh, making you cry out. Keigo huffed out a laugh against your mouth.
He detached from your lips, just to start nibbling at your jawline, elating streaks of red where his lips touched.
“God, you are so sexy. I was trying to chill, but then I came out and you were sleepin’ all cute, and I couldn’t fucking stop myself from touching.”
“Stop doing this, I can pay you with something different. I don’t wanna do this Keigo.” You whispered, on the verge of crying.
“No, I get to decide what you’ll be doing for me, it’s my bracelet-“
“It’s not, you gave it to me, please stop-“
“Shut up.” He growled sinking his teeth into the side of your neck, nipping at the skin hard enough to have you screaming. “You’re so ungrateful, where’s my thanks? I’ve done so much for you.”
“Thank you, thank you Keigo, I appreciate it all-“ You hurried out, hoping it was what he wanted to hear “But I can’t do this, please don’t make me. I wanna go home.”
“There we go, I like the sound of you thanking me. You’re going to thank me for each and every time you cum tonight, got it?”
“No, no, we can’t do this, I can’t! Get off of me, please-“
“You’ll do it, or else I’ll whip you until your flesh hangs off of you in strings.” He hissed, squeezing your jaw cruelly.
The tears in your eyes overflowed as you fell silent.
“Aw, birdie, don’t cry. I’m not gonna hurt you, I never have, right?” He waited for a second, watching your face before he pressed harder, eyes hardening “Right?“
You nodded jerkily, and Keigo came to kiss your tears away, savoring their salty taste as they rolled down your cheeks.
“Keigo, this isn’t right though, please get off me. I don’t want this-“
“You want me to take this away?” A hand caught your shaking wrist, the one that had the quirk suppressor fastened snugly around it, wrenching it up so both of you could see it. “Huh? Put you back where you were in your miserable little life? Running away from everyone, holing up in your apartment, not willing to touch or be touched…”
The very thought made your insides churn, and a fresh round of tears rolled down your face as you shook your head no, lips wobbling as you whined. You felt so pathetic, so small and dumb underneath Keigo.
“That’s what I thought. You’re going to relax now, right? No more begging unless it’s for more.”
He didn’t wait for an answer, beginning to shuffle around until he could slide his hands under your shirt, pressing against your tummy as you flinched away.
“Don’t worry birdie, you’re gonna like every single thing we’re gonna do. You’ve had sex now, yeah? Since I gave you the bracelet?”
You shook your head “no”, it’s not like you were eager for sex before you got it, and all the touching-without-terrifying-visions thing was still new to you, the dating world was being eased into. Somehow though, every single date seemed to be crashed by the man on top of you.
Keigo lit up like a Christmas tree, licking his lips gleefully. “Okay, okay, I can-whew, that’s hot-I can be gentle.” It sounded like he was trying to convince himself more than he was trying to convince you, his hands skirting up your ribs, shucking up your shirt as the traveled higher and higher.
“Keigo please-“
“Don’t you dare say stop, I’m not gonna. You’re the first person that doesn’t want anything from me, you’re real, and I’m not stopping.”
His admission made you cringe, recoiling from his touch. He followed you, palms finally smoothing over your breasts, over your bra.
“You’re going to do what I say, or else this-“ Your wrist was wrenched into view, red-and-black bracelet glittering. “-gets removed. And I’ll still do whatever the fuck I want, but you’ll be off in your mind having visions of who-knows-what while I have my way. Got it?”
Your blood chilled, body suddenly feeling ice cold. His tone was dead serious, spitting out the words with a sense of finality.
“So, just lay there and take it birdie, I’ll be good to you.”

(im so sorry i took so long.... i turned a drabble into a story... oops)
Johnny Suh had a reputation that was unmatched.
There was no other way to put it.
And a reputation like his left trails of tears.
A pool of tears that you were currently drowning in.
It was obvious Johnny was dangerous, perhaps that’s why you were drawn to him. While every single one of your instincts had you fighting and rejecting him, you were desperate for him all the more.
It was March 13th that you lost your first will.
“Y/N, right?”
You turned around to find a familiar face towering over you.
“Yeah.”
It was that stupid smile that had you.
“Hey, we have have Communications together. I was wondering if you wanted to do that project together?” He scratched the back of his neck like he was embarrassed. “I just know that you’re insanely smart so... Sorry, wait, that sounds like I’m just talking to you for your grades.”
You giggled nervously, a habit that you did when you were uncomfortable.
“Look, I just... do you? You know, wanna do the project together? I mean, I’m a pretty smooth talker so I can do the presentation. I get good grades too...”
Stupid smile.
“Yeah.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“Alright. There’s actually a little party at my frat tonight, you maybe wanna come? Get to know each other before we drown in work?”
Fucking stupid smile.
“Yeah. I’d like that.” You blushed at the idea, cursing at yourself for being so obvious.
Parties weren’t really your thing.
But at the time Johnny Suh was.
Your ears were pounding because of the insanely loud level the music was at. You were actually shocked that no one had called the cops with a noise complaint, but the fact that they were on frat row made more sense.
“Y/N. You made it.” A arm was flung over your shoulder and, thankfully the lights were both dim and flashing enough that he couldn’t see the way that you blushed at the action.
“Yeah. Is it always this loud?” You asked, still not so comfortable with the atmosphere.
“What?” Johnny yelled, pointing at his ear, indicating that he couldn’t hear you. Of course he fucking couldn’t. Then he jerked his thumb to the right, nodding at the backyard, which was seemingly empty.
With his hand placed on your back, he guided you outside, your head already thanking him from the escape of noise pollution. It was far better outside of the house.
The two of you collapsed onto the swinging chair, sighing as you cleared your head.
“So parties aren’t really your thing?” Johnny leaned closer, noting the look of relief that you had donned the moment you exited.
“It’s not that I hate them... I’m just not a fan. I mean a bunch of sweaty, horny drunk people grinding on each other. I just like smaller things.” You explained, staring up at the dark sky, shivering slightly at the cool breeze.
“You didn’t have to come.” Johnny suddenly looked guilty, “I didn’t mean to force you into coming, I just... thought I’d invite you.”
You quickly backtracked, “No, you didn’t force me. If I didn’t want to come, I wouldn’t have.” You ignored the voice in the back of your head that begged to differ.
“Right.” He grinned, as if he could read your mind. “You’re not great at lying, but I’m gonna pretend that I believe you.”
You felt your cheeks heat up in embarrassment.
“Were you playing beer pong?” You asked suddenly, causing him to look at you in confusion.
“Yeah, how’d you know?”
You laughed, looking away from him, “You have quite the reputation Mr. Suh, even someone like me knows the extent of your skills.”
Johnny smirked, liking how easy you were making it for him. “Is that so? Is that the only skill of mine you’ve heard about?”
You raised your eyebrows, hating the turn that your mind took. “W-what kind of other skills did you have in mind?” You stuttered out.
Suddenly it felt like you were caged in, his arms tense around your frame, causing you to lean back against the back of the swing.
“Tell me what you’ve heard.”
You averted your eyes, unable to take his heavy gaze. His eyes had turned dark, full of lust, and you tried desperately to forget the effect they were having on you.
As if sensing how uncomfortable you were getting, he backed off, dusting off some invisible dirt on his shoulder. He cocked his head to the side with a sly smile, happy with a new challenge.
Things weren’t going to be as easy as he thought they were, but that’s what made it fun.
“No that’s so stupid. Are you kidding me? Robin could absolutely never beat Batman. Is that even a question?” Your hands were waving animately, far too much for an argument about fictional superheroes.
“Sure. I’m just saying that Robin could totally catch him off guard, like out of the blue, you know.” Johnny slurped on his drink shrugging his shoulders like he didn’t care.
“No. Absolutely not. First of all Robin doesn’t have the guts to do something like that and second of all Robin doesn’t have any powers. How on Earth would he beat him?”
“Umm... Batman doesn’t have powers either.” He made a duh face at you, which you chose to ignore.
“Yeah, well he’s got money, and that’s basically a super power.”
“Let’s be real, Batman isn’t even really a real superhero. He’s just a hero. Period.”
You huffed, rolling your eyes at the argument. “That’s a whole different story.”
“I’m just saying.” He sang back teasingly.
“And I’m just saying that this is stupid. How did we even get here?” You laughed, trying to remember how this conversation came about.
“Uh, you made the bold choice of saying that the Batman vs. Superman movie was shit. Very controversial by the way.” He frowned at the memory.
You let your bag fall heavily on the library table, earning you a few glares as studying students dug into their books.
You sent an apologetic look before sliding into your seat. “Let’s just get this presentation done. Our presentation date is the 23rd and I don’t even have a clue of what to write it on.”
“Well the topic is influencers that change your life. Do you have anyone in mind?”He asked, flipping through his notebook, which didn’t really have anything but drawings in them.
“Not really, is there anyone for you? I mean influencer is kind of vague isn’t it? We could pick like an athlete too, or a musician. Those are technically influencers right?”
He nodded, resting his chin on his hand. “Yeah. Influencers don’t even have to be famous do they? Like they can just be someone in your life that made a huge impact on you. Like your parents or something.”
“Yeah, I guess. But that’s kind of hard when you’re working in groups. Like you’re not gonna want to talk about my grandma, you know. Like you don’t even know her. It’s probably just easier to use a famous icon.”
“Okay, so who?” He leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling like it would give him inspiration.
“Hmmm... maybe we could do someone like Michael Jackson. Like he may not have affected us personally, but he affected the way that the music and performance was seen afterwards. That’s influential and life changing right?”
“I guess.” He cocked his head, “We could at least start with brainstorming ideas for him and then if we feel like it’s not working we can change it.”
“Cool. I guess we can start with that then.”
And you did. You spent every afternoon for the next week and half with each other in the library, and a little more outside of it.
“That one’s the big dipper.”
You grinned following his finger, but had more difficulty finding exactly what he saw.
“How do you know it’s not the little dipper?” You teased, squinting in to the dark, the scattered stars really just looking like paint splatters to you.
“Because that’s the little dipper.” He laughed, moving his index finger slightly to the right.
“Oh.”
Johnny leaned back into your space, smiling at you look of concentration quickly falling as you gave up.
“Where’s the North Star?” You asked turning to face him, but sucking in a harsh breath when you found your nose just centimeters from his.
Johnny lowered his voice, whispering and pointing without even turning away, “Right there, it’s the tail of the little dipper.”
It took more effort than you thought to pull away, eyes searching for it.
He leaned back, resting his body weight on his hands. “See it? It’s the brightest one.”
“No,” You pouted scooting forward, as if that would help you see it. “Oh, wait! I see it!”
Johnny couldn’t stop himself from grinning as he saw your face light up.
“Wow.” Suddenly your tone turned more mellow, still in awe. “I’ve always wanted to find the North Star.”
Johnny’s chest rumbled with laughter. “Why?”
“Well you know. They say if you get lost, just follow the North Star home.” You turned to face him, eyes sparkling with excitement, but the sound of your voice had gone quiet, almost somber. The smile on your face faded into a sad smile as you all but whispered your next words. “Now I can go home.”
Johnny frowned next to you, not liking the sudden turn in mood. He sat up, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and pulling you against his chest.
“What makes you think that you’re not home right now?” He mumbled on the top of your head, staring straight out in the dark.
“I don’t know. I can just feel it, you know? Like I’m just constantly uneasy.” You sighed, digging your face into his jacket. “I think I’ll be able to tell when I get there.”
There was something in Johnny’s chest that suddenly ached, and he felt a sharp drop in his stomach at the thought.
“Maybe you’ll only ever know once you’ve left home.” He muttered, “Then you’ll know that this is actually what it feels like, and it’s so much worse when you leave.”
You stilled against him for a moment before relaxing, mulling over the thought. “That’s so sad though. Why do we only know we’re happy once we’re sad?”
Johnny shook his head slowly. “I don’t know. Why does God make us hurt to only to help us heal?”
The sound of the wind passing through trees was the only thing that comforted you at the thought.
“I don’t want to have to heal, I don’t want to hurt in the first place.” You whisper out, feeling the most vulnerable you had in a long time.
“I’ll never hurt you.” He rubbed at your arms soothingly, feeling a lump in the back of his throat, but he pushed it away not liking the unfamiliar feeling.
“Promise?”
“Of course.”
You let your eyes fall, enjoying just the silence and comfort of each other’s arms and minds.
You woke up wrapped in Johnny’s arms, although it was an unfamiliar feeling you welcomed it with open arms.
Lost in your thoughts for the time being you were suddenly reminded of the conversation you had a couple nights ago.
Was this home?
You had never felt so safe before and it scared you. But you weren’t one to run.
“Good morning.” Johnny mumbled out beside you, his morning voice raspy to the ear.
“Morning.” You whispered back, letting his arm flop over your waist.
“Do you like pancakes?” He asked, letting his eyes fall close again.
“Pancakes?”
“Yeah. Taeyong makes some bomb ass pancakes.”
You giggled, “Yeah, I like pancakes. Especially bomb ass pancakes.”
But he didn’t move and it was only after you tapped him questioningly did he speak up. “Do you think he’ll bring them up if I yell loud enough?”
You smacked his chest. “Stop it. We should go down.”
“In a bit.” He answered, nose buried deep in the crevice of your neck.
A few minutes later you heard the clinking of kitchen tools from downstairs and you stirred. “Johnny?”
“Hmmm...”
“Johnny. Let’s go.”
“Five more minutes.” He mumbled, but he let you out of his grasp anyways.
“Fine. I’ll meet you downstairs.” You paused as you passed by the mirror, eyes tracing over the marks on your neck that Johnny had left the night before. You blushed, realizing that you didn’t have anything to cover it up with, but quickly moved on, attempting to find your shorts that were discarded in the frenzy of last night.
“Check under the desk.” Johnny said, sitting up and watching you.
Sure enough that’s where they were, although you weren’t really sure how they managed to get there.
You shrugged on the last of your clothes, turning to find Johnny doing the same. It took him less than three steps to get to you, landing a soft kiss on the top of your head.
“Let’s go.”
Taeyong was undoubtedly the closest of Johnny’s frat brothers to you. He had this really calming and sweet aura about him that just made you want to be friends.
“Good morning Y/N. Blueberry or chocolate?” He asked grinning as he took his eyes off the pan for a second.
“Blueberry please.” You slid onto the bar across from him. “Do you need any help?”
Johnny rubbed your lower back comfortingly, “No, you don’t want to get in his way. That’s when he loses his temper.” He whispered the last bit to you, but Taeyong obviously heard it, sending a sharp glare at him.
“Only when there are incompetent people in my kitchen.” Taeyong muttered back.
Johnny ignored the comment, shaking his head at you, “I’ll have chocolate.”
“You’ll get what you get.” Taeyong piped at him, still not over Johnny’s teasing, who grinned in response.
Both of them knew that Johnny was getting chocolate, Taeyong was really bad at being mean.
“Where’s the others?” Johnny asked, sipping on a cup of coffee.
“At school, as they should be because they are college students.” Taeyong answered, sliding a plate towards you. “Enjoy.”
You thanked him and bit into a piece, almost moaning at the taste. “Damn, Johnny told me they were good but I didn’t think it would be this good.”
Johnny swiped a piece from your plate. “What are you talking about? I told you he made bomb ass pancakes.”
Taeyong slid a plate towards Johnny.
His grin widened. “Thank you. You’re my favorite Taeyong ever.”
“I’m the only Taeyong you know.” He put his hands on his hips. “I should be the favorite.”
Johnny sent a wink in his direction before stabbing a piece.
“So I was thinking, that little bakery next to the park, do you wanna go? They just opened and I’ve been dying to try it.” Johnny asked around a mouthful of pancake.
“Yeah, sure. That sounds good.” You felt your stomach flutter, you were sure whether it was the pancakes or Johnny, but you had a pretty good guess.
“Sweet, we can swing by your place first if you want to get a change of clothes or something.”
You nodded, “Yeah, sounds good.”
“I’m glad that sounds good.” He teased you with a smile.
“Sorry, but it just sounds good. What else do you want me to say?” You pushed back, opting to add another piece into your mouth.
“I don’t know, maybe-”
“Okay, sorry to interrupt your little flirt fest, but can you start that after I leave?” Taeyong asked, making a few pancakes for himself.
“Sorry.” You giggled, sending him a genuine apologetic look.
“I’m not sorry.” Johnny said, shrugging.
You smacked him lightly.
“I’ll take away pancake privileges for a month.” Taeyong quipped, focusing on flipping the pancake.
“Sorry.” Johnny mumbled out under his breath, not one to admit defeat easily.
You laughed at the sight of a pouty Johnny, enjoying the view for the time being.
Waiting for Johnny had become a routine, but honestly you didn’t really mind it. Hanging out on the couch, you had met and befriended quite a few of his frat brothers.
Currently you were sprawled out on the couch with Jungwoo, who was retelling a very interesting story about his trip to the grocery store last week that involved a cereal box and a banana. Although it was a bit of a reach, you nodded and smiled at the right times, not really following the order of events, or really the importance of them.
“What does the fact that you were wearing- and I quote - ‘an incredibly sick pair of joggers’ have anything to do with your story?” You asked, tilting your head in teasing confusion.
“Oh, it doesn’t. I just thought you should know.” He replied matter-of-factly, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“Right. And I’m so better off now that I know.” You taunted him, voice dripping in sarcasm.
Jungwoo shot you an annoyed, and yet hurt look, before finishing his story. “And that’s how Johnny found out he was allergic to shellfish.”
“Okay. What the fuck? I’m literally so confused.” You cut him off before he could recount his story again. “I don’t really need to hear it again though. Thanks.”
He whined before laying his legs over yours, giving up.
For a few moments, things were quiet as you checked the time. It had already been thirty minutes, where was he?
You rolled your head to the side, finally focusing on the whiteboard that had what scribbles of writing over it.
“What’s the tally for?” You asked, scrunching your nose at the whiteboard that was situated on the far wall of the room.
“Hmmm? The tally?” Jungwoo glanced around looking slightly nervous which had you even more curious. “It’s just a game.”
“Game? What game?” You laughed turning back to see the strikes adorning the board. “It looks like Johnny’s winning.”
“Uhh...” Again with the nervous glances.
You giggled, “You’re losing, aren’t you?” The spot under his name had the fewest tallies and you figured that’s why he was being so shy about it.
Jaehyun entered the room, seemingly in a very important conversation by the way that he was speaking animatedly.
“The game’s over on Friday and Johnny’s gonna win.”
“That’s so stupid. He hasn’t bagged any since Y/N, how is he still gonna win?” Yuta complained all but scowling at the floor, neither of them had yet to notice your presence.
You frowned at the mention of your name, not liking the term ‘bagging’ to be in such close proximity with your name.
“Oh, Mark has a new strike, looks like he finally got Claire into bed.” Yuta continued snorting, “Took him long enough.”
“Wait, what the fuck? How the hell did Taeyong get two strikes?” Jaehyun, squinted at the board.
Yuta snorted, “He had a threesome last night. Can you believe it? This close to the end? It’s like he’s actually trying to compete now.”
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” You muttered, effectively catching their attention.
“Y/N.” Jaehyun breathed out, eyes wide and darting between you and Jungwoo who was obviously trying to get them to stop talking. “Hey... what’s up? When did you get here?”
“Ummm.... no. What the fuck is going on?”
“What do you mean?” Jaehyun cocked his head, doing his best to pretend like he wasn’t panicking.
“No, I don’t want your bullshit. Just tell me what this game is.” You were using anger to hide your fear. You could feel the pounding of your heart in your head, a throbbing sensation that gave way to a sinking feeling of realization.
At that moment, when his eyes finally met yours. Not Jaehyun’s, not Yuta’s, but Johnny’s as he walked in the room with that fucking stupid smile you felt your last will got out the window. It was at that moment that everything came crashing down.
“Y/N, please can’t we just talk?” Johnny chased after you, begging you to turn around.
“You promised.”
Johnny’s heart dropped at your words, and his chest started closing in in fear. The burning feeling in his throat had him choking, panicking in belated realization.
It wasn’t just the words that you said, it was the way that you said it. So defeated, so broken. So betrayed.
“You promised that you wouldn’t hurt me. Do you remember that? Did you even mean that?” You felt the tears brimming, and you fought the best you could to keep them down. But your wobbling voice let him know.
“Of course I meant it.” He answered breathlessly. “You know me, I don’t say things that I don’t mean.”
“Do I? Do I know you?” You huffed out. “Because I really thought you were someone different.”
“No, I- I’m still me. I’m still Johnny. I just...”
“You just what? You just lied about our entire relationship? If it was even that, because I was just another tally to you wasn’t I? Just another tally on a stupid whiteboard for a stupid game.”
You choked back the tears that were burning in your throat, not bothering to wipe at the ones that managed to escape.
“You know what hurts the most? I actually thought you liked me. I actually thought that you meant all those things that you said to me.”
“I did mean it. I meant every single word, and I still do. Nothing was a lie, my feelings were real. Please just listen to me, I can explain.” He stepped closer, but you took a step back, keeping the distance.
“Explain what? I already heard everything for myself. What are you gonna say, that Jaehyun and Yuta were lying? Hmmm? That it wasn’t a game? That that’s not the reason that you approached me?”
“I...” He couldn’t find any words, because you were right. Every single word that you said was right. He struggled to catch his breath, panicking. “Please don’t leave me.”
“Give me one reason why I shouldn’t leave.”
“I love you. I need you. I can’t- I can’t imagine life without you.”
“That’s not enough.” You clenched your jaw, face going slack. It was as if you were losing the will to even be heartbroken over this.
“Please, I-I’ll do anything, what do you want me to do?” He begged, eye brows nearly touching as they furrowed.
“I don’t want anything from you, just stay away from me.” You mumbled out, avoiding his eyes.
“Baby, please.”
“Don’t fucking call me that, I’m not yours, I never was.” You snapped at him, backing away.
“I’m sorry.” He mumbled under his breath and he wasn’t sure if it was meant for you or himself.
“So I’m kinda going rogue here. I know you already hate me, but try not to hate me anymore than you already do.”
Johnny didn’t look anywhere except for you.
The professor seemed to humor him, allowing one of his favorite students to continue with an amused smile on his face.
You on the other hand did not.
You stared at Johnny with a straight face, trying your best to not look flustered.
“The whole point of this assignment was to find someone that changed our lives. But my partner and I struggled to find someone. It’s not that we didn’t have great people around us, its not even that we don’t have people that we admired. It was because no one we came up with really seemed genuine to us. But I found someone. I finally found someone that I could trust, that I let in. But I did something really stupid and fucked it up- excuse my language.”
You watched him stand behind the podium, looking smaller than he ever did.
“You know, before I met you I didn’t think that my life needed changing. I thought I was doing just fine. But then I realized that I wasn’t. I was struggling to even feel normal, to feel like I was living for something. Y/N you helped me find home. Remember when I said that you only understand that you were already home until you lose it? Well I feel it now. And it feels like shit.”
You sucked in a sharp breath, a feeling in the back of your throat burning.
“Y/N. You’re the person who changed my life. And I don’t even deserve that. But I’m here, standing in front of you like a fool because I’m whining about losing the best thing that ever happened to me.”
For a moment you thought he was done, because the silence was deafening.
“Even if you sill hate me after this, I want you to know that you mean more to me than anything else. You are the person that changed my life. You are my person, and I want so badly to be yours.”
There was a beat of silence as he ended abruptly, taking a seat on the other side of the room, eyes still locked on you.
Your professor stood up with a clap. “Well, thank you Johnny for that... interesting presentation.” A wide smile was still on his face despite his word choice. “I guess we should end on that then. Second batch of presentations is on Friday, please be prepared.”
The students of your class stood, shuffling out the exit, voices murmuring to each other.
You sat on the bench outside your lecture hall, watching as Johnny made his way nervously to you.
“You’re an idiot.” You told him as he approached you, bottom lip wobbling against your will. Eventually you broke. “But you’re my idiot.”
Johnny felt a drop of relief in his stomach as he felt like his heart would burst.
“You’ve totally botched our presentation by the way. If we fail it it’s on you.” You shoved him away teasingly.
Johnny grinned, throwing his arm over your shoulder.
“Yeah? Well, I think we did better than you think. I think that things are gonna turn out just fine.”
(sorry, i was supposed to write a full angst, but i couldn’t help myself.)
