Thalasso!Dream has a set design at last! And also a little doodle of him and Sam too, as a treat cause the demons got me last night-

I'm working on coloring the main sketch, but that's proving to be a little difficult so for now you get the uncolored version cause I really like this! And besides I did say I'd post it last night so lol

(also if anyone has ideas for coloration inspiration I'm open to thoughts! Namely like fish/animals I could base it on, I do like some natural inspo with my mers but anything will help I'm fighting out here/lh)

Further inquiries received no response beyond a shudder here, a superstitious curse there. You listened, and slowly began to hear whispers. Rumors, passed between neighbors and friends, or murmured in market stalls or shadowy corners of cantinas.

There was something out there, in the deep and endless ocean beyond the barrier. Something dark. Something hungry. A monstrous creature that preyed on the unwary, the reckless, dragging them to the depths in its merciless embrace.

Okay guys here you go: references and free to use (I mean I kind of stole them from Zelda and subnautica so they’re kind of fence goods hehe 🚨)

Inspiration for the reaper leviathan :

Kratos from god of war ragnarök (I also added the lil Zora skull firstly for him looking more brutal and secondly as an hint for mímír )

I wanted to make him look strong and kind of menacing so I made him an armor similar to a gladiator or depictions of barbarians for example

Inspiration for the ghost leviathan:

The plague from dead by daylight — I added a lantern so she can look up for victims during the night (she won’t puke in anybody’s face btw lmao)

I am probably one of the few people that thinks that the ghost leviathan is a very beautiful creat in subnautica so I tried to give her some grace in the way she is standing for example

Conclusion:

I wanted their appearance matching to their PDA entries in the original game so the reaper is a mean screaming Chad and the ghost is a weird girl living in the backrooms

I always thought making cos is kinda cringe but now as an old lady in my late 20´s I’m like : no it’s fun and I do what I want. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If you have fun and love what you’re doing why shouldn’t you? (Unless you’re a murderer then you shouldn’t)

I love Eldritch Percy AUs.

+ Normal People who saw Percy or were around him developed intense thalassophobia, freezing up in terror at the sight of any aquatic creature. Poseidon and his wife Amphitrite told Sally that till he can control it they should stay with them in Atlantis. It was only later that they discovered the side effects Percy had on people.

++ As Percy was born, he was in an eldritch (monster) form that was visible even as a newborn. His cries had an irresistible effect, compelling anyone who heard them to move toward him. Fortunately, Poseidon was present at his birth. So as none of the doctors could truly touch him, except for Sally, who held her son and told Poseidon his name would be "Percy," Upon hearing this, Percy transformed back into a human form, shedding his tentacled, otherworldly appearance.

Poseidon looking at the baby: "He seems to still have them, just hidden under the skin. I don't remember the last kid who had this."

+ Sally as his mom is save from the side effects of her baby, not like most other humans or even Demigods.

Long story short Thalasso!Dream has a "small" habit of 'nibbling' much to the dismay of Thalasso!Sam it's fine he's into it he just doesn't like answering questions and I find it way too amusing

people? in an alien planet? how.. interesting. when people normally travel planets they make sure the planet is safe for them. human beings and such. but... since you most likely cant do that I recommend never splitting up. basic stuff!! i'd assume you know about basic survival stuff right? as long as you follow basic survival maybe you'll live.. oh well! I wouldn't get hopeful on leaving just yet also. since you are on a foreign planet you have to be on guard. oh this actually is quite long uhm. just at least try to survive? dunno!
