Cretan diplomats based on a painting of the tomb of Rekhmire, Luxor. I was intruigued by the leopard skirt thingy one of them is wearing and drew a more or less realistic interpretation of it! The other guy's there so he can have a buddy.

While i usually draw people looking as average as possible, it's not the case here. It's fair to assume that within the "PR" context of the painting (representing their people in front of a foreign king) these would be the ancient aegean's hottest boytoys, so I kept them snatched and smooth shaved.

I wanted to have my personal hcs for their heights so i decided to do some good old fashioned studies (Good idea for learning how to draw robots btw is tracing(or super close reference) the og model, i recommend it for studies which this is) of their models instead of just putting the og models next to each other

something I really like about p3p compared to p5 is the extra bits of narration. I don't know if it's because the game doesn't have scenes with animated models or if regular p3 is like that, too, since I haven't played it. But like in Junpei's rank 10, when he's talking about going to see his dad, you get an extra text box that says 'Junpei's hands are trembling.' and in Shinji's rank 10 you get a few of them, one saying he toys with the pocket watch and one saying he looks down at his feet for a long time. Idk. They're nice. In p5, they use pretty much only the talking sprites and the character model animations to show emotion but things like trembling hands or staring at their feet are little things that probably wouldn't be animated but that add a lot to a scene I think.

Isla and Azure, the Pelagic Paradox from Anarchy Bay!

Isla went missing years ago, having gotten trapped in the Deepsea Metro and (unwillingly) serving in Tartar's army, only escaping on her own around 3 years after Tartar's defeat. After the events of Side Order, Isla was able to participate in a finalized version of Project Memverse to help restore her memories. After a bit of time in Inkopolis, Isla relocated to a newly forming town on Anarchy Bay.

Azure was a faithful soldier in Octavio's army, although not very high ranking. After octoling soldiers had been disappearing, Azure eventually got tasked to aid the search effort. On one of these expeditions Azure herself got affected by the fuzzy ooze and defected to Grizz's growing army. After the events of Return of the Mammalians, Deep Cut helped fund an effort to aid and hopefully heal the Fuzzy Octolings. Azure was able to heal a lot through these treatments, however she is still permanently disabled due to the fuzzy ooze. She ultimately choose to not stay in the army, even after being offered a role that wasn't field work. Instead she relocated to a new town in Anarchy Bay for a fresh start.

Isla and Azure knew each other a bit from their time in Octavio's army, though they didn't really run in the same social circles. Eventually they reunited by coincidence and became much closer than they ever were before. They decided to start a music duo together, Azure as the main vocals and Isla mainly playing the drums. After making a name for themselves on the Bay, they were approached to run the live news as more people moved to Anarchy Bay. While the duo is still relatively unknown, they've made quite a name for themselves among Anarchy Bay residents.

What did consort Shu even see in him? Like I do get the teenage crush part, but then in the harem he never treated her with genuine care untill he felt bad for his own doing. Don't get me wrong, I felt awful for her and hated the emperor as always, but I still think her character was way too bland, like a Ruyi 2.0 but without all the things that make her a complex character, only with her loyalty to the emperor that in this case didn't even make sense. I think Yihuan was there to be an example of what the emperor is capable of doing because of his paranoia, and also to contrast Yanwan's opportunism with her devotion. It is funny though that the drama is showing you how Qianlong screws everyone and that being loyal to him changes nothing, but also romanticizes devotion all the time (I'm talking about all those scenes with Ruyi & Yihuan being refered as different from the others because they're the only ones that care for him). The madonna/whore complex may be a too western term to talk about this (and also I hate it when it's thrown around randomly for any comparison of two female characters) but there's definetly a patron of good girlies that genuinely love the emperor always being shown praying & charming him w their knowledge and the manipulative evil ones that use him for their own interests potrayed as seductive, sexually active (w this I mean they are the only ones whose sexual relations with the emperor are implied via more than just getting pregnant) and yearning for other men that don't love them.
