No, Touka isn't the best explaining her own feelings, what Touka meant is she wanted to stop kaneki from wanting to kill himself through love as she knew he as Sasaki had feelings for her. She wanted to make him feel loved and stop seeking that in his self sacrifice for others.

Hi, so, I know the Hyde as Sweeney Todd and Rachel as Ms Lovett au ended up winning, but, I want to ask, how do you think the Lanyon as Sweeney Todd and Hyde as Ms Lovett one would go?

Ohhh there’s so much to say but for now I’ll give you this :0

If that one were to have won, the dynamic would have followed more of how movie Sweeney Todd’s relationship was portrayed. Lanyon would have disembarked on the ship with Jasper and headed straight back to the society where he would have expected to see Jekyll, but instead of Jekyll, he finds a scrawny blonde who claims to be the infamous Hyde. Who he remembers used to work in the society. At this point, Hyde would have regaled Lanyon in horrible detail of what happened while he was away.

Hyde has a newfound hatred for Jekyll, but he doesn’t share that with Lanyon. He’s just happy that he finally gets to be that doe-eyed sweetheart hell Lanyon is also planning on killing everyone who wronged Jekyll Hyde. Though Lanyon is blinded by his vengeance. Maybe if he paid attention to Hyde a bit more, he’d realize that he sure does have strangely similar behaviors as Jekyll, and maybe if he cared about him more, he would have put in the time to question why Hyde disappears for long periods of time.

They paralleled b&c with Alicent and Criston sex scene to make sure people would be outraged about THAT and put most of the blame on Alicent and Criston to take audiences mind of Daemon and Rhaenyra.Tb people are already blaming the two for it and I don't think the show runners did this cause they didn't know what to do with the characters in this season and they were just desperate for a plot specially how Alicent is supposed to be present during b&c in the books. That would humanize her too much in the eyes of the audience and some people would even question Daemon's actions and Rhaenyra for not punishing him. But having Criston off duty during the scene breaking his vows once again and having him and Alicent blaming themselves/Aegon blaming Cole, would just be the final nail in the coffin for the audience everyone will direct their hate at them and not Daemon.

This is where my mind went too, but I am trying to dissuade myself. It is offputting to think that the writers do not want to humanize Alicent or the Greens, and are content with giving Alicent only the subservient roles so that she feels always guilty and ready to atone for her sins at any given moment, but they push the tb agenda and want to excuse the gruesome actions of Daemon and Rhaenyra.

If that does not scream TB favoritism then I don't know what does.
