I get why people say they wouldn't want to date Astarion irl but also like, sorry can't relate! I want him to be real so bad lol.

When we meet him in the game, he is going THROUGH IT. But once he's more relaxed with us, he's literally so sweet. He's SO considerate of our feelings and isn't afraid to speak up for us. Also random, but I love that he continues to use all his pet names for us even into act 3 once the relationship is serious and committed because I'm such a huge sucker for it lol. He is so romantic despite not really knowing much about romance. I'm not really a "big, sweeping, grand gestures of romance" type of romantic, but I am ALL ABOUT physical closeness and affection and sweet words and just being weird dorky best friends together type of romantic which feels just like Astarion.

He's so cute and charming in a silly way that's exactly what I would love from a partner. He's so funny and theatrical, and I'm just so in love his all his little mannerisms and speech. I love how teasing he is, and I know it would drive me crazy but he would probably find it so amusing. And I would secretly love it as well. I love cuddles and just sitting with my partner and relaxing. We could just read books together or paint each other's nails while telling stories. I know it would just be so nice...

“It’s not,” the voice said, all paternal and cloying. “Step out of the car, sir.”

“Shit,” Leech spat, then extended the word by several syllables. “Shi-ii-it.”

“Can you sing ‘em a song?” Buzz whispered.

“I can try,” he said. “But my throat feels like I just gargled sand.”

“The iron.”

“I’m fine,” Leech whispered back, uncurling from the seat with a shudder. “We just have to kill ‘em.”

Buzz blinked and tried to slip back into his past life as a soldier. The problem with using creatures like them to fight was it relied on being starved into an animal frenzy. Now they were both sated with blood and flesh. The task of even sitting up felt far too great.
