Oh man…course I thought about it. She served up the idea on a metaphorical plate. It didn’t start out as some kinda grand refusal or ban. Just didn’t like the idea of sex in exchange for something. Then I don’t know, it turned out we had more important roles to play in each others lives. Love that girl. I know that ain’t what you asked, but it shouldn’t go unsaid.

Mun~ What got you into writing and what is your favorite part about writing your character?

I'm late with this but here we go!

I got into writing when I was a kid. I had an overactive imagination with a tendency to get lost in my daydreams. I used reading other people's stories as a form of escapism and it blew my young brain when I learned I could create my own stories to get lost in. I've been writing, in one form or another, ever since!

My favourite part about writing Silvy is her drive. She has been driven for her entire life, her sights clearly set on a goal and she was going to achieve it no matter what. Even after the apocalypse, she still has that drive but it's shrunk. It's gone from aiming for the highest point at the top of a career ladder to surviving day-to-day. But she is determined to survive, no matter what.

Oof. Uh, I’ve never really thought about it? I mean, she kinda appeared outta nowhere. We may have known each other a little bit in the past, but we don’t know anything about each other now. I don’t even know what happened to her brothers. I could see us being friends, I guess. Any lack of feelings on my part wouldn’t be because she’s my friends’ ‘little sister’, though. @avtvmnxrose

Be honest…Luna’s a service dog, isn’t she?

"Mmm... Kind of? She's only a couple years old, so she's never had actual service dog trainin', just trained by her previous owner and m'self. She has a task she does that I rely on, so I guess she's the closest y'could come to a service dog in this world. But the most important thing is that she's a really good girl. I'm lucky she's so smart so she can help keep my dumb ass alive."

Be honest... do you think you could ever be truly happy in Redwood?

Well, that's the dream, but I hope so. I'm definitely doing what I can to make that happen!

What's been your happiest memory since coming to Redwood?

Ginny was a fiend for Diet Coke, right? And Ike had found glass bottles of Mexican Coke out on a run—which is arguably the best version of any Coke, but that’s besides the point.

Me and Ginny and @isaacapatow sat around drinking flat Cokes and playing poker for those shitty little Necco wafers that taste like chalk, but apparently last forever. And Ginny wasn’t used to the sugar or something, it was like she was drunk, just goofy as hell.

That memory ranks in the all-time list of favorites.

Mun~ What got you into writing and what is your favorite part about writing your character?

I answered the first question here!

My favourite part about writing Jake is his love for his Mighty Hawks. When I started to create Jake, I wanted to explore the idea of how someone's life could get better in some way after the apocalypse. Before the zombies, Jake was self-centred and believed life was great. When the world ended, everything that made Jake's life great was stripped away from him and he needed to find meaning elsewhere. He finds it with the Mighty Hawks, the gaggle of kids who adopt him as their caretaker. That self-centred nature of his is still there but the Mighty Hawks constantly challenge it, forcing Jake to think for someone other than himself. And that's really fun for me to explore!

Be honest..... what's your trick for working with Isaac?

There is no trick. Certain tendencies he has can be exhausting, but I appreciate that he always has a (usually good) reason for the way he acts. Those reasons might not be obvious initially, and some things he does still confuse me (I'm not sure why he keeps making movie references when he knows I won't understand them), but they are there. He makes a lot of sense to me, as a person. He is someone I can trust to have good reasons for the things he does. He can be exhausting to be around, but many things with him are easy, too. It's enjoyable to spend time with him. I think what I am trying to say is that I like him as a person. So unless you classify that as a trick, there is not much more to it than that.

I'd have to hear from her what "doing right" means to her. But I know I'd treat her right by my own understanding of what that oughta look like.
